Bought a sectional from them. We were told we could keep the old broken one b/c it was discontinued. We threw our original ones away and put the old ones our loft. We got the new ones and put those in our family room. Two weeks later they said we needed to return the old broken ones (after we threw the original ones away). They said they need to pick them up or they’ll charge us for it. Now we have an empty loft. The customer service person we spoke with was incredibly RUDE and accused us of “just wanting to keep a free couch”.We explained we threw our original ones away. She didn’t care. Crap service and a load of misinformation. The store and call center need to communicate better.

The staff at Ashley Furniture in Davenport were all very friendly. Brayn helped us originally when finding a good fabric that would meet our needs. We ordered from the store. Our docking of stars comes from the unorganized manor of the warehouse. Deliveries should not be scheduled or given a time until the warehouse has put eyes on every piece within the order. We had 2 cancellations for delivery - the second 11 hours after confirming a time for the next day - by the warehouse and delivery schedule team. And no explanation was given. Had the store and Andrea not been so helpful, we probably would have canceled the order. If that can get fixed, the whole operation would be much smoother.

I went a few months ago to look for a couch and bed set, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by one of the men who worked there. As I walked around the store every time I looked up I would see the guy (Forgot his name, had glasses, I think he was bald, dressed in a sort of cowboy attire). 30 min in, I was trying to control my child by not touching anything & I noticed the guy gave us a look that made me feel uncomfortable and we left, I said I wouldn’t go back again. A few months pass & I give it another try. Walked in, same guy greeted. Tried to avoid him, but again, everywhere I walked to HE WAS THERE WATCHING. I get the commission part but let people shop comfortably!! I felt so uncomfortable and was so mad at this point. I was trying to have another person help but when he noticed that another worker was talking to me about what I was looking for he comes and is standing a few feet away, I didn’t make eye contact because I knew he was just starring & hearing the whole conversation. Once the guy who I was speaking to asked if I was greeted at the door I said yes, and pointed to the guy who made this experience uncomfortable, unfortunately he ended up taking care of me. I felt like he would reply back in a passive aggressive way. Please Ashley furniture in Davenport, please advise your workers to not make customers feel uncomfortable by literally watching their every move inside the store. LET US SHOP COMFORTABLY and most likely we will help boost your commission up. This location will not be getting any profit from me.
