Came in for a rug, left with a story. The salesperson started off helpful, then randomly tried to sell me a tired old office set that looked like it came out of a garage sale—at designer prices. I found a rug I liked for $199, but then he hit me with a $120 delivery fee and a 5–7 week wait. For a rug. I laughed, thinking he was joking but he wasn’t. Then he said I could buy the floor model (the one everyone’s dirty shoes have stomped across) but still at full price. Bold move for a store whose inventory and logic is stuck in 2012. They also beg you to leave a good review when you leave, even though theres nothing that would warrant that.

Sales associate said one thing (even wrote down on sticky note) and did something totally different on transaction (assuming and trusting she was putting in order correctly since we’d just discussed with her, my husband, myself and son present) what we were supposedly purchasing (initialed thinking everything was ordered correctly but learned a lesson the HARD way)!! Lack of INTEGRITY!!! Integrity- the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Apparently they’re all about the money and not trying to work things out to help a customer that has purchased many pieces of furniture in the past. I will never purchase anything from Ashley again. Highly disappointed and my 12 year old is even more hurt because it was a birthday gift for him and the order was wrong upon delivery after waiting 5 week. It’s sad when you tell your 12 y/o what happened, and he’s like “momma, we did order the dresser with the bed because we talked to her about it; I remember her saying that and giving you the sticky note with the price of all 3 things.”

Jose was very helpful in helping us find the right furniture, was delivered with no issue as planned..., however, spoke to the Sales Mgr, Jared, a few days prior to delivery with a couple of questions/clarification. I explained I was not complaining, that I only wanted to clarify a couple of things - sales tax on the delivery fee which he did not explain well but I've since confirmed it is likely appropriate. Also asked for clarification on how the sales order was calculated by including the delivery fee since the promo did not include a delivery fee, which again he did not explain well. At issue is when I told Jared I was only asking for clarification and not complaining - his response was he was going to use that line, that’s a good one. What line? I was seriously not complaining, was he mocking me and suggesting I was complaining??? Was he kidding? He never clarified either way. That was a strange way to respond to a customer with legitimate questions. Recommend because I'm sure this was a one off situation.

I was assisted by Jose Orozco. He had a bubbly inviting personality and was knowledgeable about the furniture. If he didn't know yhe answer to a question, he was happy to find out. He was very patient and had no problem looking up items I had previously searched online. Jose also made note to mention an upcoming event on Saturday. I enjoyed my experience furniture shopping at this location.

I let Jose talk me into upgrading an electric bed frame after he said the one we wanted wouldn’t fit our bed. After getting it home and realizing it wouldn’t work I contacted Jose again and was given the run around and things to try to which none of them worked. When all was said and done I was given a number to customer care and told to take it up with them. They pretty much called me a liar saying the bed I bought from them was compatible even after I sent pictures. Wouldn’t bug anything in the future from them and suggest everyone reading this does the same. If anyone wants pics of the bed frame not working or screen shots of the conversation please feel free to contact me. Take your business elsewhere.

**UPDATE** * I contacted the company via email, as indicated in the response I received from Ashley Furniture. After several days without a reply, I followed up with a phone call in an attempt to schedule the delivery of my furniture. I was provided with a delivery date of January 22nd, which was two weeks from the date of my call. At this juncture, I simply wish to conclude my dealings with Ashley Furniture. I sincerely hope that the furniture proves to be durable, as I do not want to undergo this experience again. Consequently, I will refrain from making any future purchases or recommending Ashley Furniture. The one star review stands.* In November, I ordered the Larce Sectional, including an additional armless chair, a matching ottoman, and a swivel rocker accent chair. I also opted for the Platinum Plus plan. I was informed to expect delivery within 6-8 weeks, and I received all items after 6 weeks on a Friday morning. Unfortunately, one of the armless chairs and the wedge were damaged, and they were returned for replacement. I contacted the local store that afternoon to inquire about the anticipated delivery of the replacement pieces. I was informed that there was no information available in the system, and I was advised to follow up the next day. I called again on Saturday, only to find that there was still no update in the system, but a manager would contact me within 24 hours. Regrettably, I did not receive any communication. On Monday, I reached out to the local store once more and was informed that a new delivery date could not be confirmed. I was then given the customer service number to call. However, I discovered that the customer service line was closed on Mondays. Today (Tuesday), I called the customer service number again and was informed that the delivery is now scheduled for "sometime between the second and third week of January." I expressed my disappointment, mentioning that had I been aware of such a lengthy wait, I would have returned the entire sectional and retained my previous furniture until everything was ready. With a birthday party scheduled at my home for the first week of January, the absence of the armless chair (that provides additional seating), and especially the wedge that connects the pieces together, presents significant challenges. I am quite disheartened by this experience with Ashley Furniture. While Jessica at the local store was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my initial purchase, this negative experience has overshadowed that positive interaction.

Dean never made me feel like he had better things to do than to help us nor were we pressured to buy anything. When shopping at Ashley ask for DEAN...you won't regret it!!

Dean is the best..we never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything...very knowledgeable of all products. Really listened to us and helped us arrive at the best option for the rooms we were trying to furnish. Ashley is very lucky to have such a person represent there company. EVERYONE should ask for DEAN when looking for furniture at this location.

I had the pleasure of working with Denise on a visit to the Ashley Furniture Store to purchase new furniture. Denise was a pleasure to work with.
