I walked into the store with a printout of items I found online that I wanted to order and was able to browse the store with no pressure from sales staff. Then I was greeted by Denise and she went out of her way to explain the furniture, quality and characteristics of each piece that I was looking to order. Then she went over the different financing options that were available and worked to get me a great deal on everything I needed. It was a very pleasant experience and Denise was very professional and extremely helpful. I would recommend visiting

***Update to my very satisfied review below, that I was persuaded to leave BEFORE getting our furniture. (This is how they get good reviews, bc they ask their customers to leave a review upon purchase, and not of the experience as a whole.) These are not organic reviews. Please read on if considering buying furniture here: Currently, EXTREMELY unsatisfied and disappointed in Ashley’s Furniture. The sectional we purchased was 5 pieces that all fit together. Upon delivery, one of the chairs was missing a latch to hook it into the rest of the couch. We asked the delivery guys if they could make it fit ANYWHERE and we were told there was NO possible way because it was defective & missing the part. We decided to just send it back BEAUSE we were told there would be No fee since it was their fault. Well, a few days pass and we decided we wanted to get a console piece to go with the couch. We wanted to just buy it outright separately. I was told I needed to go to the store to order it. Went to the store & spoke to Natalie. She said the piece we sent back was entered by the delivery company as non defective and we “chose” to return it & we would be charged a 10% fee. I let her know that was not the case & they could listen to the call the day of delivery, since she seemed not to believe me. I was supposed to get a call back in no more than 3 days. NEVER got a call back. Then, I called again and spoke to a manager named Jesse. I told him what was going on. I was promised a call back again in no more than 2 days. NEVER heard back. 2 weeks went by. Still nothing.. I called back today and spoke to Jesse, again. He inquired about what I was calling about. He said “are you just calling to check on the fees and service charges” I reiterated there should be NO fee since the arm chair was defective. & at this point we just wanted a refund and not to order the console. All he said was “ok” and he would get it processed. I expressed my dissatisfaction with lack of follow up and communication and the fact they were trying to charge us fees for something that was their fault! I didn’t get an apology or even an acknowledgment of accountability on their part. Do not buy furniture from this company. All they are worried about is selling and not the smallest bit about customer satisfaction & customer service. This experience was a nightmare! Here is my previous review: Ashley furniture was a pleasure to work with! They are very friendly and professional. Dean is awesome! He made buying our new couch as painless as possible and kept us very informed in every step of the process. We are very satisfied.

After purchasing thousands of dollars of furniture here, we’ve been treated poorly and been given the run around. Among other things, we purchased a King sized Johnelle bed a little over a year ago from the Anniston location. We also purchased a protection plan that we were told would cover our furniture. After slightly a year of use, the bed’s frame snapped in half while we were sleeping, ~4 weeks ago. After filing a claim online for replacement via insurance, we heard nothing back for a few weeks. We call again and they say it’s been approved and we’ll be contacted with further steps in a few days. Again after roughly a week, I call to be told there’s a credit waiting for us on account with Anniston location. Great! Why did I have to call numerous times to get this done? When I called to move forward with Anniston store about getting a replacement rail, we’ve been treated poorly. The manager has spoken to both me and my husband with no sympathy and instead hits us with a bunch of “store policies,” that were not mentioned to us while purchasing furniture. For instance, our credit on account is only good for the amount WE purchased the beds rails for. So, if they’re on a different sale or no longer marked down- we’re expected to pay difference, they do not price match what we paid. Likewise, we are expected to pay an additional $125 delivery fee to have this shipped to our home, which will take another 3-5 weeks. I worked in a furniture store for years and have never known one to be unable to price match what was originally paid, especially in cases of replacing damaged furniture barely a year later. Ultimately, why did we pay for a protection plan, only to be hit with more fees and costs when their poorly made furniture snaps in half? Similarly, we’re unable to pick said replacement parts up from store to avoid a delivery fee. Do not recommend buying protection plan as none of this info is told to you up front. Now I’m left, 6 months pregnant, sleeping on an uncomfortable Ashley furniture couch instead of their $1,200 junk bed. All while their manager hits us with new policies, we’re another $300 out of pocket for a bed that probably snaps in half again in a year.

Do not buy from Ashley furniture. We bought a love seat back in june 2023. the delivery people dropped and broke it. We were informed them and they said they could not take it back and all they could do was fix it. Well two technicians later a dispute and guess what still not fixed and they told us they are done. So we have a 1200$ piece of junk, it does not recline and it’s just about complete split in half. One of the seats is broke down and the assit lever on both sides are broke. This is completely unacceptable . Word to the wise, if you need furniture do not shop ashleys!

I originally left a 5 star review because of the sales process being so smooth with Dean, and the clear expectations given over delivery. Apparently that’s what they do to take your money, with no way to deliver on the services you order. That being said it’s almost 7 weeks later, we still have no bed and no replacement for our product that was delivered damaged!!! I get text promises but no follow through. I was told they were ordering parts for a chair that could have very simply been replaced (these are parts I then have to wait for a repair person to come out and assemble). To date they “have no clue about the parts order but are researching it.” I have probably 4 requests to a customer service supervisor in but have yet to hear from them. There is no communication between the store and their warehouse or customer service, and when you ask for a manager at either they just give you the run around and false promises of call backs at both places!

Just got what they called a white glove delivery that I paid extra for! The dresser is broken and as you can see it’s nowhere close to a “white glove delivery”! 4/26 update. I’m having to wait another week for some repair person to come out and take a look at it. This means I have to take another day off from work and still can’t use the dress or we bought for our newborn. At Shia point I would have been better off buying a dress or across the street from Big Lots.

We paid for delivery and set up and then the guys did not set up the headboard or deliver to the correct house but the CEO does not find the need to refund the amount paid for this service. I had a great experience at store #006 in Anniston, AL - the team from there was especially friendly and helpful. The entire team was working together to provide excellent customer service. If you need anything, go and ask for Eric, Andrea, or one of the team members can assist you.
Don't buy the furniture from Ashley's. Seriously! I have placed an order for a bed, waited like 7 months or so for it, and it never came. Finally, lost my patience, refunded, went to Overstock and bought an entire bedroom set for the price of one bed from Ashley. And I got it within a week. They will feed you promises they have no intention on keeping. I would rather assemble my furniture myself rather than overpay for the service if said furniture even arrives... EVER. Additionally, their guarantee will run out on you just as something breaks. You will never get to use it, but when you need fixing something or replacing an item, guarantee conveniently runs out just in time. I will never shop at Ashley's again. Too pricey for furniture that doesn't last that long if you ever even get it to begin with!

Horrible Service (a few days shy of a year to repair an initially broken chair.) Additionally, the comfort of sofa (hard as a rock compared to the actual product selected in the show room.) Ashley won't even simply switch out what as delivered for the show room floor. They won't replace it. They promised store credit for another option, but now won't honor that. They won't work with you unless pressed with dispute from the credit card/Bank. Then it's too late. They don't hold up to their warranty, or do good business. I have furnished many homes with this company and WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. Poor Ethics! BUYER BEWARE

Let me save some people a headache. Stay out of Ashleyhomestore ! I paid $14K for furniture in January this year, and I have not received one piece of the furniture. Now that I'm fed up and ready to cancel the order, the want to charge 10% to cancel the items that they technically have available even though they don't have full sets. I said okay send me what you have, cancel the rest. Now, they want to reschedule a delivery that they were scheduled to bring tomorrow. I'm about to let them know they can reschedule to deliver it right to where they process returns and I'll meet them there. Listen, Havertys Furniture has been to my home three times. They have excellent customer service, excellent warranty packages, and the furniture quality is top tier. Spend the extra coin and protect your peace. I see an arbitration table in my near future.v SMH

My granddaughter Jayal Green order a bedroom suite on November 2021 and haven't received it yet. Everyime you call it is a different date. Call today and expected to hear that it would have a date since on the 10th will be 6 months. Now saying next month. She will be able to get her money back next month. Visited two weeks ago. I believe the sales lady’s name was Natalie. Asked us four times if we needed anything or had questions. We finally had questions, she didn’t have answers. Took my name and number and said her manager would be calling. It’s been two weeks. No call.
Nice store. Nice furniture. Did not really see what we wanted. I did find some couches that I could sink into and remain there all day if it was raining.
I ordered a bedroom suite which came after 15 weeks. I love the suite but the salesperson who placed the order ordered the wrong side rails. I do not have drawers at the end of the bed. I called and placed a claim hoping to get what goes with my bed but since I paid in cash no one is interested in helping me. Nov.3 I got an email with an order number but have been unable to speak to anyone . When I call their service dept. I’m told they are busy with other customers and will call me back. No call. Very disappointed in the way they do business. I’ve had to purchase a bunkie board from Haverty’s.

I was looking for new mattress. i was professionally greeted by the sales associate, Andrea. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Once a picked out what I wanted, the delivery was set up. I was delivered the wrong base from the warehouse. i contacted the store manager, Fateme, and she apologized for the warehouse's mistake. i contacted the customer service representative and she informed me that Fateme had already been in contact with her. She assured me that I would have the correct base delivered the following day. It was and I am very pleased with everyone involved in this entire process, from the sales to correcting a mistake that was made by the warehouse. Andrea, Fateme, Shila and Nina I want to personally thank you. Ashley Homestore is now my go to store for all my furniture needs.
I purchased a bedroom suite in April was told it would take 6-12 weeks to receive my items. After waiting 12 weeks called to check on my furniture and they tell my wait was actually 12 to 18 weeks. So I waited a full 20 weeks I call and the manager tells me that they will begin production at the end of September!! I ask for customer service number and they say it’s private information and since this location is privately owned they don’t associate with the actual corporate office. So I asked for a full refund the manager tells me it will be a 10% cancellation fee , of course I’m not paying a dime for something I haven’t received! So the store manager requested to wave it . She tell me a week later that my refund was approved with no cancellation fee … I wait 2 weeks and nothing. I finally go into the store to get some sort of documentation about my refund and the manager said she is not allowed to give me anything no contact number email to customer service nothing ! So I wait for her to email these people who nobody knows but her for my refund. When she finally gets the ok to refund me my money . It literally was pending in my account for a day before the company stopped the transactions .. so I will be taking legal action against this company!
I ordered furniture (bedroom suite) in March, never received it. Call many times to find out the status kept getting the run around saying "you will get it next month". Ask for a refund: was told I had to pay10% return to stock fee for something I never received. They broke the contract by not delivering my furniture, and I have to pay them over $200.00 to cancel. So after many phone calls and being lied to by manager, I am on my way to file a small claims lawsuit to get ALL my money back plus pain and suffering...store manager is so rude and lie all the time.
Ordered 2 mattresses and boxsprings, paid in full. Scheduled delivery for Friday 9/3. Was informed via email delivery would be between 9:30 and 12:30. Called four times starting at 1:30 and was told it was still out for delivery. One of these phone calls I was told they “got a late start” and the last call was informed that there was a balance due (which was untrue) and that that might cause a delay. They then switched me over to the store who informed me that indeed we were paid in full. At 5:30, after waiting all day, was told that delivery would not be done, and since it was a holiday weekend it would be Tuesday before we would get delivery. Absolutely no service recovery was done by either the delivery component or Store. What AshleyHome store needs to understand is that buying AND delivery is the customers purchase experience. It is not the customers problem which entity has dropped the ball. We have been out of our house for 5 months due to tornado damage and have not had one issue with any entity during then restoration process until now dealing with Ashley HomeStore.
The only customer service that is recieved is when they are trying to make a sale. Once the sale is made it is truly an act of congress to get anyone to speak with you or return your phone call. Fatima, the store manager, does not value you as customer. PLEASE DONT CONFRONT HER about HER UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, as she will haggle with you about how goodher customer service is. You must go through her to make a complaint/speak with the area manager. I did not realize the business emails where private information.I have been waiting for a refund on my purchase since July. I had to literally go down to the store to recieve an update on my account because my messages always seem to be lost.
Terrible customer service. Both of the two sisters they had working both need to do better. What bothers me most is the fact i can afford everything in the store including both of they salaries 🤷
I appreciated the thorough explanations, professionalism, and patience of Fateme and Joanna. None of our negotiations or questions bothered them! I highly recommend this store and plan to shop there again myself!! They gave me a great price on several furniture pieces!!! A truly great experience!
Update: I spoke with Fateme on 7/26 and she told me that production was saying our order would be done in September. We ended up going to the store and Fateme was such a big help. She was able to fulfill part of our order from the showroom, and we picked out furniture that was in stock. We are now waiting on delivery to call and schedule an appointment with us. Will update again when we receive our items. If you visit this store, I recommend working with Fateme. She was great at getting things taken care of for us, and I also made her aware of the assurance that we received about having our products before 16 weeks. We ordered a living room set, dresser, and two nightstands on April 3rd. We were told that they had to quote 16 weeks but no one was waiting that long and we would have our furniture well before the 16 week mark. Our sales person also told us that she would check in with us every two weeks to update us on the status of our order. Several weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything so I called the store. Our sales associate said that our products were still being manufactured but she would be do better with keeping us updated. Several more weeks went by and I still never heard anything so I called to check again. She stated that she would have the manager look into our order and give us a call but we never heard from either of them. I would have never called for updates if our sales associate didn’t assure us that we would have our furniture well before 16 weeks. Here we are at 15 weeks and are being told that there’s not any info available on all of our pieces except one and now they are changing the time frame to 16-20 weeks and they will only investigate our furniture when we are 30 days past the 16 week mark. The manager is always in a meeting, out of the office, or busy. I highly suggest you get furniture elsewhere. If you’re set on Ashley furniture, maybe buy from a store that sells Ashley brand. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We bought a new house and have been waiting on furniture for this long with no end in sight. Do not recommend!! Take your money elsewhere!!
After 5 months I finally received my furniture had it for two days notices a tear in the ottoman called immediately to file a claim wanting the ottoman replaced bought a new ottoman wanted a new ottoman however, immediately I was told my claim was denied that they would send a tech out to see if it could be repaired note again i bought a new ottoman wanted a new ottoman but was at their mercy so i agreed to have a tech come out to look at this was almost month ago have not heard from Ashley nor a tech. Also, purchased the protection plan (waste of money). I will never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again.

Your so-called management at this store is very unprofessional and a liar. she definitely needs some more training or better yet, get a new job .not to mention the 16-20 weeks you have to wait to get a couch or the cancellation fee . Once you Cancel your full cash purchase your screwed in fees . Definitely will not recommend this place to anyone!
HORRIBLE!!!!! I will never order anything else from this store! All they do is lie and give you the run around.. I was told it would be 8 to 12 weeks before I received my bedroom suite.. I ended up not getting it until 6 months later! When they finally did deliver it, it had damage on it.. and I still haven’t heard anything back from them regarding that! Then on top of that my husband went back in there today to try to purchase a box spring for the bedroom suite.. they told him they couldn’t let him do it because his name wasn’t on the card! Like what?! They ran his credit along with mine.. his name is on the account with mine.. BUT he couldn’t purchase the box spring! When I called Monday, I was told he could come up there and purchase it.. then today it was different! LIARS! You can’t get in touch with a manager to save your life! Like I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life! I never leave bad reviews, but they are HORRIBLE! Whatever you do, please don’t shop at this store!

They delivered the chairs and again damaged. Same type of marks. So either they are damaged in transit or no one cares. We sent then back and if course you are out back on the list to wait. We are now told don't expect anything until July 9th. So much for the holiday. They also do not give you the courtesy of a call. We have had to call each time to check. The STORE DOES NOT CARE. Do yourself a favor and stay clear.

Be aware if you change your mind on any item they will charge you a restocking fee even if the item has not even shipped to the local warehouse.
We purchased our new bedroom suit as well as our guest bed & mattress yesterday and feteme was beyond helpful along with her other co workers. So far, this experience with this store has been absolutely horrible. I am a very understanding person when it comes to wait times, however; when I called up there to get a status on my order for the second time. I was told that they are not allowed to give updates on orders. When I ask about an approximate delivery date. I was told it could be upwards to next year which is absolutely ridiculous. They should be giving some sort of option to cancel the order but when asked to cancel. I have to pay 30% of the overall cost of the furniture. I would STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are crooks and thief’s in my opinion.
The store manager was actually who helped me and my boyfriend. And she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for us and we were able to get everything we needed! The best Ashley furniture I’ve been too!

We came in just look and came out with a sectional AND a kitchen table! Jacy and Fatema are the BEST!!! Both very knowledgeable, helpful and went above and beyond to help us get the furniture we wanted. I highly recommend stopping in! We plan to purchase more furniture in the future.

The Ashley on Quintard has an excelant selection of everything we needed to furnish our dining and living rooms. The peices we picked from thier show room nicely complimented each other and gave a good flow to our newly remodled space. We definatly put our sales person Joanna to the test and she shined bright. She was very atentive, courtious and communicated our options very well. When it was down to finalizing our purchase the manager Fatima worked very hard to get the pricing and financing within our budget. All in all our experience was an awsome one. I'd recomend this particular store to anyone. Review update: every aspect of my experience after making my purchase has been horrible. No answers on deliveries damaged products at delivery not made right. The claims de0artment has no ansewers and the store can't tell me anything. I wouldn't buy anything here again.
Pre- sale they treat you like royalty, after they make the sale they could care less about you. I bought 12k in furnishings for my home and now keep getting the run around on damaged furniture from both this store and costomer service. I would'nt buy anything here again.

I was going to buy a living room set until my salesperson "The Manager " Fortema was extremely pushy about us getting a mattress when I said 100 times I didn't want one. So we ended up walking out... When I say to a sales person multiple times I just bought a mattress 6 months ago "we do not need one".. so she still would rather show us something I am not interested in, rather than something I came in the store to buy... and again this store needs better Management.

I purchased a Castano Jewel sectional from the Ashley Homestore in Anniston on 12/4/20. This was the 3rd furniture store we visited that evening. I was promptly greeted by Jacy Brown as I walked in. She was very courteous and knowledgeable about the not only the different sectional’s but also about their delivery services and protection plans. I never felt I was being forced into a purchase. I bought sofa with a protection plan. I found that the protection plan is a SCAM and you should not buy it at all. Sofa quality is very cheap. I except the sofa to last at least 6 years but did not last a year and half because of loss of foam issues. I called them and offered to send a replacement but it is way too expensive. Now I don't use it anymore ( cheap quality and expensive price).

worst experience I have ever had buying furniture I bought and paid in full a living room suit May 16,2020 it is now August 22, 2020 and I have received no furniture and no refund. I was told I would receive a refund because they could not get my furniture in stock and I have yet to see a. refund. every time I call I am told they are sending another email to there corporate office and that is the only way they can contact them and there is no phone number. no one up there gives a crap after the sale is done. we are at the point if we don't see our money in the next week we will be getting a lawyer ........I have been told my refund check ( that I was assured was sent out) was found on someone's desk and they are now mailing it out ,. there is a Facebook group dedicated to customer complaints just for this company that was very helpful
Great experience at this store. Worked with Fateme. She was very professional and helped us order the furniture pieces that we had picked out on line. The on line procedure was not as user friendly as I thought but with her help in the store everything went very smoothly. This store although in a smaller town is very well stocked and the furniture is displayed beautifully. I will definitely shop here again.
I have been waiting on my living room suit for nearly 4 months and every time I call them my date for delivery gets pushed back further and further. The lady that sold us the furniture was very helpful but as soon as they get your money then you are on your own. Covid or not after 4 months I should have a couch. I have not been offered one time a discount or any of my money back just a sorry and try again next week.
I went and bought a beautiful dining room table and chairs today!! Fathema helped me out and got me a great out the door price with great help with delivery and 5 year protection plan! I recommend this store highly!!!

I contacted the store and ask them to cancel my kitchen table set and they told me I would be responsible for a restock fee... WHY?? There is nothing to restock!! I was told that they would have to contact the district representative in order to cancel an order without paying a restock fee. I asked for the contact information so I could contact this individual and was told they could not give it to me. I was informed that the office manager sent an email and this has now been two weeks ago and she has not even received a reply from this person. I am absolutely fed up!! Last week I was contacted by Valerie at the warehouse to arrange for delivery. I asked her to please have someone check the order to make sure everything was there before I arranged to take another day off of work. She called me back about two hours later and said she had confirmed the order was in the warehouse. On Wednesday morning, the scheduled delivery date, I received a call that there was an issue with one of the chairs and I would not receive the complete order!! Now I am at their mercy again, still waiting to complete my order. This means that I will have to take a fourth day off of work sometime in the future. Again, absolute worst experience ever! I would never recommend them to anyone!

I just had an awesome shopping experience at the Ashley’s Store on 3125 McClellan Blvd., Anniston, Al. Fateme an Shacoyo did an awesome Job helping me put my Den together with the right Pieces of Furniture. I’m very pleased with their suggestions. I was at a lost until I asked for their help. I bought a Sectional from this store and was told it was leather. About a year later the seat part started to peal off NOT REAL LEATHER, luckily we got the warranty, at first they wanted to send someone to just fix the places that were messed up. Afternoon arguing with several people they gave me a full credit. After spending another $1000.00 on top of the credit we bought two new couches, when we were unwrapping them we noticed a large scratch on one of them. So once again I called. I was told that someone would follow up with me and take care of it after all it was new at this point. No one ever called back from the warranty center. I talked to a very nice lady at the retail store and she assured me she had put in a note for someone to follow up with me. 3 months later still no call!!! Long story short this is cheap made furniture at high prices with horrible customer service!!!! Spend the extra money and buy better quality!

Purchased furniture less than a year ago with furniture insurance. The USB port on the nightstand malfunctioned. Insurance won't cover and was told warranty would. Spoke to 3 people, emailed various evidence, waited for months for replacements and for it to be repaired. It's been 3 months. Will have to get someone else to do it! Unacceptable customer service and will not recommend to anyone!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered my table from the Anniston store kiosk on 11/11/2019. It took several weeks for delivery but it was NOT the table I ordered. I filed a claim the very day I got the table (claim # 4418). It’s now January 30th 2020 and I have still not heard one word about my claim. I have left many many messages for a manager to call me because the young ladies that answer the customer care line keep saying there’s no update on my claim. I went to the store and my sales lady barely even remembered me. She was all about me before purchase but now no one wants to speak to me about my purchase. With no table for Christmas guests and several other events, needless to say I am NOT happy with Ashley Furniture at all. Please DO NOT purchase from this company. I feel I have been more then fair and patient through this but I am at my wits end. I spent over $1000 for this undesirable table. They do not care about customers after purchase. Wondering if I should seek legal counsel.

My husband and I went in the Ashley Homestore in Anniston a week and a half ago. We were looking to buy 2 recliners and a bedroom set. We were in the store more than 30 minutes. Only 1 other customer in the store. Several sales people walked by us and never onced spoke to us, acknowledged us or offered to help us. I guess they don't need the business.

Yes purchased dining room chairs and recliner. Told them that my 88 year old mother needed as soon as possible and was told 3 to 6 weeks. Ask if recliner could be delivered as soon as it come in. Waited 3 weeks and called and said it was in warehouse and was waiting on dining room chairs . Then said it would be the 4th and that was 4 weeks. Told me they would keep a check and see that it was delivered as soon as possible. I had to call warehouse and set up my delivery. Left message that it would be delivered between 5.30 and 8.00 pm. I get up for work at 3.45 am . Work 12 hr shifts. Then called me and said that they would be here till 9.30 pm and could reschedule. I said no my 88 year old mother has no where to sit and what she did have was gone because we were waiting for new one. I feel that this was handle very un professional and that 9.30 pm is ridiculous to deliver furniture. The sales people and the manager was nice at the store. But never called or set up delivery and came through after the sale. I paid 100.00 for it to be delivered. Had to make all calls to see where it was and had to call warehouse stay on hold at my job to set up delivery. I will never do business with Ashley furniture again. Why I sit at home waiting on furniture the stores are closed and they are home at 9.30 at night.

The furniture is well priced, good quality, and the sales people are willing to work with you financially to get the sell. That is the only good thing about this store. We worked with Matthew at the Anniston location who told us how easy it would be to just call and add other items to an existing order which was completely incorrect! He then was off and didn’t pass any of the needed info on to anyone to help. They weren’t willing to anyway. No one will help you add, subtract, or do anything else once your order has been placed. The customer service is a complete joke and no one knows or cares about what you need. They are quick to tell you that you will be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel but won’t help you with anything to assure you are satisfied with the purchase. Shipping is long and painful and they will not rush orders.

I normally choose not to do poor reviews, but I couldn't leave my 5-star as a 5-star. Initially, I was very pleased with this store. We purchased an accessory table from them; I had been looking for a while and found the perfect one. That was on July 20, 2019. We were told it would be a three to six-week wait for the table to come in, and I was okay with that. When the table came in, we changed our mind about having it delivered and asked that they assemble and deliver the piece. They stated we would have to talk directly with the delivery company who contracts with them, that they wouldn't contact them. We were a little frustrated, but we were the ones who had changed our minds. One thing led to another in trying to get this company to deliver and assemble the piece. Ashley finally took the responsibility and contacted the delivery company, waiving the fee, which we appreciate. The delivery company showed up today (September 18) with our table, unassembled. When my husband asked for them to call the manager, the delivery personnel pointed out they didn't work for Ashley and were taking the table back to the Ashley store. I really don't know when this table will be delivered assembled or if we're just going to ask for our money back. I love the furniture made by Ashley and have several pieces in our home; however, this is the first, and last, time I've bought Ashley furniture from an Ashley store. They pass the buck to the delivery company and the delivery company passes the buck back to them. Ashley should accept responsibility for their business practices. It's a shame that I have to do business with another dealer to get their products in a timely and professional manner. There 's a certain irony in that.

She could tell us what materials were used to manufacture the furniture and whether or not items were at the warehouse without even looking. We purchased a large chair, ottoman, and mattress set. We didn't even bother looking at other stores. The quality is excellent and the prices were reasonable. We will be back.

I went in with my parents with original intentions of window shopping, first one to great us was Toney with a warm smile. He was very helpful but most of al patient with my mother who was indecisive on a mattress after what seemed like an hour my parents where able to agree on a mattress set & we proceeded to apply for the financing at this point Feteme came in to help us along with the suggestion of a bedroom set to go along with the new mattress. Again her and Toney were left waiting a while before my parents made their final selection. At the end of the afternoon both my parents were extremely happy with their purchase and we couldn’t be more greatly at how helpful and friendly Feteme and Toney were. We highly recommend Ashley’s Home Store hands down no tricks like other furniture stores.

We bought a couch and oversized recliner. It took 5 or 6 weeks for delivery which is what they stated at the beginning which was fine. When we received the furniture, the couch came missing screws and the over sized recliner came broken. So we called and put in a replacement order. The day it was supposed to be delivered we got a phone call that the replacement is also broken and they will have to order another one. Like, really? Ashley has the high prices for furniture that they can't even build correctly because for some apparent reason they always come in broken. I will never do business at Ashley Furniture again.

I was approved for an Ashley credit card, so we went to the local store to look at reclining loveseats. It was not a good experience! I don't like to be harrassed while shopping by an annoying salesperson, I just want to look in peace. I've never seen a store with more excuses to NOT sell you something! We found a loveseat we liked, it was on clearance for $750. We told the ever annoying guy breathing down our necks we wanted that one... he says, "we can't finance it if it's on clearance". Bear in mind I wasn't wanting in store financing, I have a CARD through synchrony bank. Then he says "we can't deliver it if it's on clearance"... ok, we can get someone to come pick it up.. but, we want you to plug it in, so we can be sure that both recliners work.. guess what?? One side works, the other side not only doesn't work, but the cord has actually been cut, so it is also a fire hazard. Ok.. not getting that one. We find another one, it's also on clearance for $1200, but, it was almost the same thing. Ask him to plug it in, both cords are missing. Not getting that one... then we found one that wasn't on clearance... ok, we will take this one.. AND, they can deliver it.. then he says "it'll be 3-6 weeks before it even comes in, then we will give you a delivery date"... ummm... seriously?? I finally said that if I have to wait that long, I can just order it online & have it shipped straight to the house.. so the salesman starts telling us all the negative reasons why we shouldn't do it that way..After 5 more minutes of double talk/rigamarole from this guy, I was getting irritated, so I just told my hubby, "lets go to Badcock"! So... we did, found what we wanted, got approved to finance it & they are delivering it on Thursday, of THIS week... not late July or early August! I don't know how they stay in business.. too many damn rules to simply buy some furniture!
Greeted at the door with a gentleman and an inviting smile. We were looking for mattresses and the selection was great. Prices were about where you would expect to be and of course they go up ⬆️. Layout was clean and inviting with relaxed atmosphere. Didn't feel pressured at all. Only wish is to purchase and own same day. . I hate getting excited about a purchase and not getting it till later.

We ordered over $5,000.00 in furniture and have been waiting 2 1/2 months for our furniture. The salesman in the Anniston, AL store assured us our order would arrive in 2-3 weeks. No one bothered to contact us, and after several weeks of waiting, we spoke with the store office manager who kept telling us that they were doing all they could and sending emails to someone, yet our furniture was still nowhere to be found. After 10 weeks of waiting and pleading with the store to find out where our order was, we finally had our family members contact a friend they knew in corporate management. We found out there that the store knew from the day we ordered that our pieces would not even be available for at least two months. After learning that we were lied to by the store so they could make the sale, we finally contacted the delivery center. They had part of our order and delivered it last week, assuring us that the remaining furniture would arrive this week and be delivered this Friday. Again, no one contacted us as we promised to set up a time for Friday. After taking Friday off work and calling to find out why no one had called, the delivery center kept telling me that they have our furniture but don't show it being delivered this week. This is completely unacceptable. Now after 2 1/2 months, the furniture is setting in the delivery center, and a truck is coming to our city Friday, and even though we were promised the furniture would arrive to us this Friday, they now say they "don't show it set up to be delivered this week." Again, we were promised it would arrive, and again, someone forgot to call us to set up a time for delivery, and again, we are spending another day trying to chase down our furniture that was ordered 2 1/2 months ago. This company is extremely unprofessional and incompetent. We still do not have our furniture, and no one with Ashley Home Store seems to care at all.

Jessica(Jesi) was very helpful. She worked hard to make the deal happen. She explained everything very well. She was why we bought the bed. In addition to the great work Jesi did, Mandy (her manager), helped her to develop options that helped us to get to the price range that we needed and the bed we wanted. We were able to walk away feeling that both Jesi and Mandy had gotten us to a solution to our sleep needs. We appreciate the effort by both of them to get us where we wanted to be.

I will never buy anything from Ashley furniture in Oxford Alabama. They did nothing but lie to us over and over and over again about when our things were going to be delivered. Stuff we bought that was on the floor so it could be delivered right away still isn’t here one month later. The stuff we ordered was supposed to be all delivered today but they called and said 01 if your bedroom sets isn’t in . Last week they said everything was in. Run as fast as you can away from the store

Our sales persons name was Fateme and each time we walked into the store she greated us by name. Her personality was engaging but not pushy. Fateme worked tirelessly over several weeks to get us just what we wanted. Her knowledge of the store and the online inventory was impressive. I bought 2 pieces of furniture there ittook them a monthanda halfto get itto me. Both were broken. Left one took one with them. 2 months later they bring the other piece back a month after that sent someone to patch the first one. I will neverbuy there again.
