We bought a dining room table, chairs, and buffet table. Waited a week or two for it to be delivered, as expected... but when it was delivered the guys that assembled them did a horrible job. The table legs were crooked and in a bind, edges were scratched and scuffed, and almost every bolt head was rounded off from them rushing through with drills. I managed to disassemble and re assemble them myself so they could be used but very dissatisfied with the overall experience.

I had a good experience while purchasing my furniture at Ashley Furniture in Hoover Alabama. My sales person was very attentive to me, although he moved really fast, and I kind of felt a little rushed, but it wasn’t too bad. He was very nice, and seemed knowledgeable. I am, however, really disappointed in the service after the sale. I am not going to use his name because I do not want to negatively affect him having future customers. I do think it will benefit him to work on his “service after the sale” skills though. After I made my purchase of a dining room set with a table, six chairs and a buffet/server, I went to my car, but came back to look around at some other furniture. I was surprised that my sales person did not come over to see why I was back, and if I need any additional help. I was in the store for at least another 30 minutes. I was actually thinking about buying a bedroom set. So my sales person lost out on a potential big sale. I did notice however, that as soon as my sale was completed, he immediately went to another awaiting customer, so I guess he was still too busy with that person to check on me. But it wasn’t just him. No other sales person in the store offered to help me either, maybe because they saw that I was his customer, and didn’t want to intrude? I’m not sure. But I did not get any help from anyone. When I finally left the store, I called my sales person and left a voicemail, but he never returned my call. About a week later after my furniture was delivered, I noticed that the underside of the dining room table had a small nick in the wood, as if maybe a tool or something hit it. It does not appear to be anything major at all, but myself person did tell me that if I notice any imperfection at all, to call him first, so that’s what I tried to do.I could not find my sales person‘s phone number so I called the store. Someone said he was with a customer and would give him the message to call me, but he never did it. I’m going to give him the benefit-of-the-doubt, that no one gave him the message. I called the store again this morning and he isn’t in today, and I was directed to customer care. So this is the third time I’ve tried to reach out to my sales person, and was unable to. I spoke to a very nice young lady in customer service, I cannot remember her name, I think her name is Shaundria? She told me to send pictures, and I really do feel like I’m going to be in good hands with her. I am not mad or fussing, my sales person told me to be sure to give him a Google review, so I am keeping my word, and merely telling Google what my experience at the Ashley Furniture was in Hoover Alabama.

Took 1-2 months for a repair to be picked up and this was after calling multiple times to see if there was an update. When they do pick it up we get a call later saying it’s ready and they’ll schedule the delivery. Well, the day they came to deliver it they thought they were picking it up… after calling again it’s apparently not even repaired yet. No communication at all. No one knows what’s going on it seems.

I could write a novel, but I won't, I'll only say that from now on when we visit the Hoover Ashley store we will be dealing with Gavin. We will be customers of Ashley and of Gavin going forward in the future! He made the whole experience an enjoyable one!

We cannot recommend this store and Cassy’s help enough! She was very informative, professional, and made the process a lot smoother for us. She was there if we needed help or had questions, but she never was looking over our shoulders. We had a great experience and will continue to shop here for quality furniture!

Wish I could get my money back. Warranty sucks and I had to buy a whole other piece because it was junk. The Warranty was confusing and the people there was no help about how it works. They can't give you a new piece they just send a guy to repair it and you still have to pay for that by the way. Guy came and looked and never came back or called. I said screw it and bought another piece. 600 dollars down the toilet. I asked the guy when I buying the new piece if there was anything they could do to help me and he said no. All he was worried about was getting a 5 star on Google though

Ordered tables, paid and was given a delivery date. After weeks, they finally said one was discontinued. They offered the display model at a discount. We agreed, but still have yet to receive the discount as promised. I guess losing customers over a minor sum is their business model.
