Visited Ashley In Hoover. I was welcomed by friendly Hailey and she was my sales person. Hailey was so patient and helpful. It took me two days to decide on my purchases. Hailey was not pushy and worked both days with me. When I decided on purchase she got me a good price, explained delivery, and went over all paperwork. Thanks to Hailey for being patient, kind, and super easy to work with.

Paid for furniture, turned out the salesman had us buy the wrong furniture. Once discovered, the store wouldn’t communicate with us to resolve the issue. All we got was more “fees” pay this and that. Ended up working with a different furniture store to get the correct furniture. Don’t buy from these people. Garbage.

What terrible customer service! I ordered a dining room table and chairs online with a scheduled white glove delivery. When the delivery team arrived at my home, they first attempted to bring in the wrong table and chairs, then discovered my delivery was tucked way in the back of the truck. Then they discovered they didn’t have the hardware to assemble my furniture. I was depending on this delivery because I’m hosting a party this weekend. When I called Ashley Delivery to expedite re-delivery, I was told it would be another two weeks before they could reschedule. Another issue was my phone number was incorrect on the delivery info. Prior to the delivery, I called Ashley twice to correct the error. The delivery team could not reach me because the number hadn’t been corrected in the system. It still hasn’t been corrected despite me telling them SEVERAL times. There’s still time to rectify the issue, but at this point, I doubt Ashley will make this right and deliver my furniture prior to my event. Very disappointing.

Haley and Brian went above and beyond to help me with furnishing my office. I will go back to them for my future furniture needs.

The delivery of our furniture was not acceptable at all. There was one of the sectionals that the feet was put in just threw the cotton fabric, not threw the wood and screw holes were. So when we moved the sectional against the wall way after they left the screws falling out scratched our wooden floor, badly. When we heard it and turned it over the screws fell out. That’s how bad they were not attached to anything. I called to talk to the manager several times and they wouldn’t take my calls. I got our furniture in the Hoover store because when we went into the Inverness store the younger man that we ask about some furniture he told us the price and left us. So we went to him to ask about something we had seen before and his reply was, “we don’t have that in the store you should have got it when you saw it.” We wanted to order it but he was too much of a smart guy to stop and do it. Then there was the man at the Hoover store that humiliated a girl worker there in front of everyone yelling at her that she got his cloths to close to his and her hygiene isnt like his!?! Yelling at her to never do it again and followed her into another office to scream at her. Quite embarrassing, only the young lady that helped us was professional and sweet. It was the only reason we didn’t leave. Just her. But, we still want ever go back.

I purchased a couch here and they did not have the couch… after finding this out they then tried to up sale us on another couch. After wasting our time and money they then claimed we owned them 10% for the couch (that they did not have). We ended up going to rooms to go and explained the situation. ROOMS TO GO THEN TOLD US THEY HAVE MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS COME TO THEM AFTER THEY HAVE ASHLEY FURNITURE SELL THEM A COUCH THEY DO NOT HAVE/ CLAIM THEY HAVE IN STOCK JUST TO CLOSE A SALE. I will NEVER ever do buissness again will Ashley Furniture and highly recommend you go to Rooms To Go if you want to work with professionals.

Came into Ashley’s Furniture today to look for a bed and a mattress and was greeted by a very polite lady named Terri Gryder. The experience was excellent, and she helped me find the best mattress and frame for me! She knew everything about the mattresses, which made me feel a lot more comfortable with the process.

Beware not to buy the extended warranty. Ashley customer service team provides poor service and excuses if you have a problem with a piece of furniture you purchase from them. Had a cushion in sofa collaposing in less than a year. I reached out for warranty support and was told that the collaposed cusion was "normal wear and tear". First they were going to ship me cushion suffing to stuff it myself but when they realized the cushion was attached to they sofa, they backed off and said they wouldn't fix it or replace it. I purchased a 5 year warranty to cover the sofa at time of purchase and it is useless. Paid approx $300 extra for the warranty. Don't get fooled by the extended warranty spill the sale people give, when it comes time to use it, they find reasons not to honor the warranty. Poor quality furniture. Pay a little more to get better quality and customer service somewhere else.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER FORGET ABOUT YOU. It takes an act of congress to actually get your furniture delivered. I was told I was gonna get my couch Friday and I texted requesting a time because I had someone sitting at my house for delivery. No one showed up so I assumed they would Saturday, when I call Saturday they informed me it would be Wednesday before they could deliver. I am not gonna get my couch for another week because Bryan dropped the ball I was hoping they would work with me to make it right but they can only deliver it Wednesday. He was very helpful at first then after he took my money he does not want to help at all. I mean crap will I even get my couch Wednesday because I was told it would be Friday. I have to work I can’t wait for them to have a wild hair to deliver my couch. At this point I should have went somewhere else. I am regretting even buying a couch from Ashley’s in Hoover.

He was very helpful and professional, we enjoyed working with him. However, during the checkout process we discovered that they would not deliver to my daughters apartment on the 4th floor (no elevator) they do not deliver higher than 3 floors. We would have been happy to pay a little more for delivery but instead we had to hire a moving company which is WAY more expensive. So just be prepared if you live in a walk up.

He simply asked us what we were looking for, informed us where the items were and what colors were available, and then said “Take a look and let me know if you have any questions. My name is Mark.” My wife and I are used to being hovered over while furniture shopping, which honestly leads us to dread doing it. Today we got to shop on our own and discuss what we liked and didn’t without the pressure of having a salesman/woman 2 feet away listening to every word. It was out of the ordinary, stress-free, and guess what - we made a purchase!
