This probably deserves a 4 star on appearance, help, sales people & selection. I gave it a 3 because the prices are too high. I visited many furniture stores over 2 weeks. I didn't buy from here even though there was a couple of beds I liked. I am not going to hurt this location by announcing where I purchased from, but it is in my Google post of furniture stores. They do use Synchrony bank here to finance & it is a good company that gives you long term financing with zero interest. I have a Rooms To Go account with synchrony with a 10k limit & no, I didn't buy there for the 1st time in years because their prices were to high also. Do your homework & shop around before you buy!!

Update: The store never responded back to the email I sent and I added photos showing the wood bug holes in the legs and back of the chairs. I went to Ashley thinking I would quality and did not get even close. Very disappointed. Spent $2000 for a kitchen table and coffee table. After taking 2 months to get in stock, I drove an hour to pick up to find out it was not assembled. Who sales a table not put together? I open the first box only to find it was damaged also. The store attempted to refuse the return. YES they REFUSED the return! Customer service actually told me I was just out the full amount because I didn't open the box within 24 hours and "we are covered, you signed a receipt so yeah, it's your fault you're out". It was not until I informed the manager forest, that the consumer protection act will protect me from paying for it if I drop it back off to them that they finally agreed to come pick it up ... With a charge! Fine, $200 dollar lesson but better$200 then the $10,000 I had budgeted for the furniture in the house. Be very careful if you try to do business with this store. It was a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. I have not opened the other boxes because I was so disappointed with the experience so far. I don't even want to deal with it anymore. Worst customer service experience ever, could have been fixed with a replacement and offering to come assemble furniture. (Hell, I would gladly pay for assembly if they had offered it... I was told they only have delivery) so now I'm paying for"delivery" for them to pick it up because it's crap merchandise. Such a horrible experience when there is a problem. Do NOT shop here if you want QUALITY merchandise or people that stand behind their products because I am getting NO help from these people. Guess you only get a response of you give a "five star review"... Just proves my point, they don't care! The federal “Cooling-Off Rule” gives buyers three days to cancel certain purchases

Initially, when I purchased from the Ashley outlet in Trussville I was excited about my furniture but as time went on I became very unpleased with the furniture as well as the payments. I was told that I would receive zero interest for 60 months however I did not. I was drawing interest the second month I was told that by TD Bank. Therefore my payments went from 35 to 140 dollars a month and not to mention the 40 dollar late fee so the actual cost of the furniture has been the same for a year never going down as I made payments. When I ask the store manager what happened they stated that my sales representative had been fired I guess this is why because she was given false information. My advice to future customers is that if u purchase something pay for it right then because if you finance it I guarantee u that u will have problems. SMH

The outlet prices are so much better than the regular store, it really makes it tough to justify buying anything outside the Outlet. Overall, very happy customer!

05/17…. Cleo Cleo Cleo!!!! Top notch customer service from the time I walked in until the purchase was completed with no pressure applied. I highly recommend this location. This review is being edited as of 06/09…. Not to take anything away from the salesman I am still pleased with his service. But financing has fraudulently placed a second charge on my acct and as of today they claim to not see this charge on their system and has not been helpful at all to get this corrected. It was supposedly submitted to corporate as of 05/30 but I have not received any communication on their behalf. I contacted the store directly and was advised that it wasn’t reviewed .

I had the best experience with associate Lillie N. I went in to find items for my grandmother’s bedroom. She listened to our wants and concerns and assisted us properly. She was very helpful even when we ran into a few issues with items we were wanting. She was also very patient from beginning to end and even answered ALL of our questions. To be honest, she was the sweetest associate I’ve ever met.

I visited the store early last year and wasn’t especially impressed with my experience there. The salespeople weren’t all that interested in helping me and I left expecting that I would take my business elsewhere. Recently I took a chance and went in again and it was like a different store. I don’t know if they hired more motivated people or found a better manager but my experience was much more pleasant and I will shop there again.

I went to 3 different furniture stores in Birmingham, even the Ashley Furniture on 280. I must say that NONE of them compared to my experience at this Ashley Furniture location. The prices were phenomenal and the customer service was top tier! I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smiling Lillie who made sure to allow me time to walk around and see what I liked before approaching me when I found the exact bed I’ve been looking for all week. She even gave me tips on pillows based on my sleeping style and let me try out some of the mattresses they had on sale. She asked me my budget and her and Forrest went to work finding me the perfect payment plan! I honestly don’t know how long I was in there but I know they worked diligently until they got me in my price range! I recommend them a million times over!

The store is good—the delivery process is awful. They will not let you chose a time frame yourself for delivery, are slow, and have very limited dates of delivery available. I recommend not choosing delivery if at all possible.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Ashley Furniture . After the company made multiple errors with my orders, I approached the store to resolve the issue. Instead of providing assistance, Angela yelled at me, blaming me for the situation. Her aggressive tone and lack of professionalism made an already frustrating situation much worse. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles those mistakes reflects its values. Customers deserve respect and support, not hostility, especially when the fault lies with the company. I urge Ashley Furniture to invest in customer service training for their staff and ensure better accountability for errors. This experience has completely eroded my trust in the company, and I won’t be returning unless improvements are made.

From the moment I walked in Lillie was eager to assist with my selection and Steve’s mattress knowledge helped narrow down to the best mattress for my comfort. The store isn't the biggest but they have very stylish selections that are much more affordable than what we've come across. We've waited a year to furnish our new home and I'm excited to finally begin! And thanks to Mrs. Marie Mitchell for answering any questions I had.
