I originally gave this store a good review because the customer service at the time of purchase seemed great. However, the experience on the backend of the sale was the complete opposite. I ordered a bed over a week before my move-in date and was very clear—multiple times—about the exact date it needed to arrive. I even confirmed it with both the store manager, Peyton, and my sales representative, Bill, at the Trussville location. One day before move-in, I received a call from headquarters informing me that my bed wouldn’t arrive until several days after my scheduled date. This was extremely frustrating, especially after making sure the store had the correct date from the very beginning. The manager only offered $50 off a $1,000 purchase, which honestly felt more like an insult than a courtesy considering the inconvenience and poor communication. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this location. They do not follow directions, are not organized on the backend, and the lack of accountability is disappointing.

He was not pushy with the sale and wanted us to be informed about the purchase we are entertaining. We did not make the purchase today due to wanting to do a little more research on the products we are currently looking at for our master bedroom’s new mattress. This probably deserves a 4 star on appearance, help, sales people & selection. I gave it a 3 because the prices are too high. I visited many furniture stores over 2 weeks. I didn't buy from here even though there was a couple of beds I liked. I am not going to hurt this location by announcing where I purchased from, but it is in my Google post of furniture stores. They do use Synchrony bank here to finance & it is a good company that gives you long term financing with zero interest. I have a Rooms To Go account with synchrony with a 10k limit & no, I didn't buy there for the 1st time in years because their prices were to high also. Do your homework & shop around before you buy!!

Update: The store never responded back to the email I sent and I added photos showing the wood bug holes in the legs and back of the chairs. I went to Ashley thinking I would quality and did not get even close. Very disappointed. Spent $2000 for a kitchen table and coffee table. After taking 2 months to get in stock, I drove an hour to pick up to find out it was not assembled. Who sales a table not put together? I open the first box only to find it was damaged also. The store attempted to refuse the return. YES they REFUSED the return! Customer service actually told me I was just out the full amount because I didn't open the box within 24 hours and "we are covered, you signed a receipt so yeah, it's your fault you're out". It was not until I informed the manager forest, that the consumer protection act will protect me from paying for it if I drop it back off to them that they finally agreed to come pick it up ... With a charge! Fine, $200 dollar lesson but better$200 then the $10,000 I had budgeted for the furniture in the house. Be very careful if you try to do business with this store. It was a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. I have not opened the other boxes because I was so disappointed with the experience so far. I don't even want to deal with it anymore. Worst customer service experience ever, could have been fixed with a replacement and offering to come assemble furniture. (Hell, I would gladly pay for assembly if they had offered it... I was told they only have delivery) so now I'm paying for"delivery" for them to pick it up because it's crap merchandise. Such a horrible experience when there is a problem. Do NOT shop here if you want QUALITY merchandise or people that stand behind their products because I am getting NO help from these people. Guess you only get a response of you give a "five star review"... Just proves my point, they don't care! The federal “Cooling-Off Rule” gives buyers three days to cancel certain purchases

Initially, when I purchased from the Ashley outlet in Trussville I was excited about my furniture but as time went on I became very unpleased with the furniture as well as the payments. I was told that I would receive zero interest for 60 months however I did not. I was drawing interest the second month I was told that by TD Bank. Therefore my payments went from 35 to 140 dollars a month and not to mention the 40 dollar late fee so the actual cost of the furniture has been the same for a year never going down as I made payments. When I ask the store manager what happened they stated that my sales representative had been fired I guess this is why because she was given false information. My advice to future customers is that if u purchase something pay for it right then because if you finance it I guarantee u that u will have problems. SMH

05/17…. Cleo Cleo Cleo!!!! Top notch customer service from the time I walked in until the purchase was completed with no pressure applied. I highly recommend this location. This review is being edited as of 06/09…. Not to take anything away from the salesman I am still pleased with his service. But financing has fraudulently placed a second charge on my acct and as of today they claim to not see this charge on their system and has not been helpful at all to get this corrected. It was supposedly submitted to corporate as of 05/30 but I have not received any communication on their behalf. I contacted the store directly and was advised that it wasn’t reviewed .
