Love our furniture and mattress but was done wrong and yall had an opportunity to make it right and yall wouldn't so wont be shopping here again what makes it worse is that after me and my wife purchased the furniture we both said to eachother on way home best experience we ever had buying furniture but that all changed when we got the furniture
I am editing a review I made a month ago. Purchased a recliner for $795.00 total, received in a timely manner but realized that the recliner felt like hard plastic and went to the store the next morning to return. My return ended up being $491.00. This is very inappropriate in that the recliner was never used and I returned it during the 24 hour period. Word of caution...do NOT return anything to Ashley Furniture as they will keep most of your money. I will never buy from here again.

Update.. was told furniture was to be delivered the week of purchase so I go home and dump the old getting ready for the new and to my surprise it wouldn't be available for delivery until two weeks. After speaking with management and clearing up some confusion they were able to get it delivered sooner than expected. Big thank you for taking the time to reach out to customers about their concerns!
Dylan met us at the door and was friendly and very helpful in showing us several options of the style sofa we were looking for - then left us alone while we pondered and talked privately to make our decision. Once we did, he went over specific features of the item we liked. He made the contract and payment process very easy and we look forward to quick delivery and enjoyment of our new furniture!

Had a good initial experience with the associates. Then scheduling got involved. Finally got a date that I could arrange to be home. No other free time was available for another week for me. Today 10 minutes before arrival at 1 p.m. I get a phone call, and the merchandise is NOT on the delivery truck and will have to be rescheduled. Stated they couldn't send another truck out here today. Seriously? THEN I am not able to cancel my order until tomorrow after 10 a.m. because it was still on the manifest. I'm sitting here with a broken leg, lost my house to a tornado, and have to replace everything. Now this!!!! Not happy and will not frequent this brand again.

Stopped in my local Cullman store and was warmly greeting by Todd Greenlee who went the extra mile to assist me. I found exactly what I was looking for and purchased a couch/loveseat ON SALE! I will definitely be back.
I stopped in to casually look at a bedroom suit with my wife. This giant, ogre-looking man named Todd came up to us and offered his assistance. I truly don’t remember what he said at first because we had just watched the movie Shrek and I was wondering if the thing he said about Ogres liking to squish people’s eyeballs into jelly and making a sandwich was true or not. Once I came to my senses, we asked some questions about a bedroom suit. We really like the one that Todd showed us. However, I wondered about if he had any experiential knowledge because there’s no way he’s fitting on a normal bed. The boy is something like 7 1/2 foot tall. Anyway, we found something we really liked and can’t wait for it to come in. Thanks, Shrek… I mean Todd.

Avoid delivery option if at all possible. In store sales team was amazing. Delivery came and they put my bed together with wrong hardware( 3 right brackets 1 left). Frame is all out of square cross boards don’t fit right and a month later I’m still waiting on a hardware to be delivered so I can do it myself.

Asked for my money back, 'oh it'll be a 10% cancellation fee. Needless to say, I will never buy from this company again

I wake to find a iced americano, Kimchi Toast, Kimchi Eggs, and Korean Scallion Pancakes. sitting on the Alymere Coffee Table with 2 End Tables Item: APG-T869922 I childishly yawn as a representative comes by and pats me on the head. I have never felt more at home. after a hardy meal I leave the store, but this will not be the last time I wave good bye and playfully gesture the entire fight scene of 1998s Action/Horror Blade with Wesley snipes. The gentlemen that helped me today was bald and had glasses “unsure of name” and when I say help that is being nice. He was of no help at all he had to go check with someone for every price on everything I asked him, not professional on the stores part to have a inexperienced salesman on the floor. To top it off after I had wasted a good bit of my time finally getting a price from him I asked for a itemized price list and he refused to do that. If your not hiding anything and are giving me the deal your saying why can I not see your itemized price list for the products I’m wanting to look at. Very unprofessional and very poor sales. Will not be returning for any future needs. Went to Farmers home and furniture in cullman after this and was treated with respect and no blind folds over there.

Horrible customer service and they do not even care. If you look at the customer ratings for the stores owned by this group in AL, they all are low ratings with many complaints. We paid for delivery and set up and then the guys did not set up the headboard or deliver to the correct house but the CEO does not find the need to refund the amount paid for this service. I would stay away from Ashley and use a more reputable company!!
The worse customer service ever, I have left messages for a manager of this store to call me about a problem for 4 days he has not returned my call nor will he come to the phone when I call. He relays messages though a young sales person while I am on hold. The manager has never even tried to help since he or she will not take the calls. My daughter has also tried to talk to them with the same results as I got nothing please stay far away from this store 🏬

This is an update. Originally gave 5 stars for friendly staff and customer service. However, our experience went down hill fast. Was told furniture would be in house in 2-3 weeks. It’s now been 9 and still nothing. Several calls have been made and messages left, but never a return call.

Do not order! When you receive damaged furniture and put a claim in for the damaged product they will tell you that you owe 99.99 in shipping to send another one.
I bought a leather recliner set supposed to be what it is is cloth with some sprayed on leather that peels off I bought the extended warranty they did nothing it was peeling off in 3 months.
A couple weeks ago my wife and I decided to buy a new mattress. We went into Ashley‘s home furniture and Lee Ann Edwards greeted us. She was very educated on their mattress selection and really qualified us before making any suggestions. She really listen to our need seeing how my wife and I both have back problems. We ended up agreeing on a Tempur-pedic luxe breeze. Best mattress ever! Lee Ann’s suggesting this particular mattress has made a vast difference in our quality of life. Both of our backs hurt less and we’ve increased our range of mobility. Thank you Lee Ann Edwards!

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. My wife and I ordered a new coffee table and 2 end tables. The coffee table was delivered 4 days later and the end tables had an expected wait time of 4-6 months. We consistently got updates from a previous employee on the status of our end tables. Once that employee quit, we got nothing. We decided to check in at the 6 month mark and they said it could be another month. 3 months later, we checked in again. We were then told that the product was discontinued and we would never receive them. That sounds like a simple refund or store credit but no. It took months to get out money back after dealing with their customer service department. Fast forward about a year. My parents decide to get a new couch and love seat. On the first delivery 1 love seat and 2 sections of the sectional were delivered. The third piece was broken. They decided to try again. The second time it was delivered. It was broken again. They then decided for a refund. After hours of dealing with customer service they were told that Ashley would refund them but keep $900 dollars for a restocking fee. The fact that they are charging a fee for something that was never complete and is now used blows my mind. Do yourself a favor and stay far away

For starters we showed up 30 minutes before closing. Beth was our sales lady and she was amazing. She walked us around the store, helped with the application process and gave us time to come to the final decision on what we wanted. We didn't feel rushed at all. I made a major purchase from Lee Ann Edwards at Ashley Home Store and she was VERY knowledgeable about all the furniture I was interested in. With regards to warranties, protection and operations of all electronic doo dad’s on the furniture I purchased. She was very kind and extremely helpful making sure I felt I was the only customer in the building. I’d post pics but I’m waiting on the arrival of my furniture. I WOULD GIVE A ZERO BUT HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE STAR! COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE! It’s now been over a month since a refund has been made! A recliner was paid for in cash & when we realized we ordered the wrong one, we canceled our order the next day. We were good a refund in form of a check would be mailed out within 2 weeks. Still waiting. When we called to inquire about it, no check had been mailed. The lady says she thought we wanted to get something else in the place of the chair. The only reason we canceled was because they didn’t have a chair to fit our needs. They want to take money but are not helpful with returning it!

This review is a reflection on the entire Ashley store, not necessarily the local sales person. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait Update as of 10/4/22 We are still waiting for delivery of our bed. It was scheduled for delivery on Saturday, 10/1, between 1:30 and 4:30. We prepped the bedroom by moving out some night stands and other furniture to make it easier for them to install the bed. We moved a king size mattress and box springs. The scheduled time frame came and went but no one showed and no one called. We ended up putting our bed back together that evening. On Monday, 10/3, I contacted the warehouse and was told it appeared no one got a delivery from that truck on Saturday. The person with whom I spoke said she would have to send an email to the delivery team and she would let me know when she had information. I contacted our sales person at the local store to see is she could help and she said she could and apologized for the inconvenience. As of this review, I am still waiting to hear from SOMEONE. Taylor Wright with the Cullman, Alabama Ashley Furniture store was a pleasure to deal with. We were shopping for a bed. Taylor was very pleasant and made it a very comfortable experience. She explained things very well and demonstrated all the features of the adjustable bed.

Spent thousands on a bed and then they delivered an undersized mattress. A year later and many smashed shins later with this clown bed and the manager has yet to even answer our calls or return our messages. Avoid this scam store at all costs.

WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN Bought about $9,000 worth of furniture here over the summer. Hasn't been delivered yet due to our house not being completed quite yet. Asked for a refund on 4 Adirondack chairs because we were considering an upgrade and the manager Informed me that there would be a cancelation fee of 10%. Enjoy that $90 becawe wont spend another dime here. Still getting the runaround in December on furniture I paid for in June/July. These people flat out mislead you to get your money.
We ordered and paid for our furniture June 7th and just got part of it 16 weeks today and still haven't received our dining table and chairs. The other furniture was delivered with them not calling to let us know that they would be early and we was out to eat. The delivery man was rude, the women that I talked to about the dining table was rude want ever buy from them ever again.
Ordered a couch in February 2021 and still do not have it. When order was placed was told all orders were on schedule. … the people are rude. Will not let me talk to the store manager. If I cancel order they keep 10%. I WILL NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING ELSE! They are pathetic and will tell everyone I know what liars they are! 😡
I would give anything to be able to give a “negative star” rating if possible. I ordered an end table back in March 2021 to match two reclining chairs that I purchased at the store at the same time. The chairs came in a few weeks later while I continued to wait on the end table (which was supposed to be available before the chairs). Finally in the middle of summer it was coordinated to be delivered on a Thursday in which both my wife and I waited all day and nothing was delivered. I called the next day and was told I should’ve received a call from customer care saying that they wouldn’t be able to make it that day. A full burnt day of nothing. I then asked could it just be dropped off at the store and me pick it up. It is now the middle of September and I AM STILL WAITING. A couple of weeks ago I found through Synchrony that I had been charged for the end table so I started calling the store and I was told it was showing in their system that it had been delivered and nothing else could be done. They give me a customer care number only for me to call and be told that all Ashley stores in the state of AL are independently owned and they couldn’t help me. Since being told it was already delivered when they can’t give me an answer on who/why it wasn’t signed on delivery, I have since called 7 times and all they have done is taken my name and number to call me back in which I have yet to receive a call back. As of today, after 7 calls in 2wks, no call backs as promised, 7 different confused answers on “why” I don’t have it, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will continue to give negative reviews so that no one else experiences such unprofessionalism and frustration. Looking at the reviews it seems I’m not the first or only.
I waited 6 months on a couch have had it since March and it's already broken a piece of wood came uptacted I have contacted the store because it's unwaranty & the customer care and haven't got an update and it's been a week do not recommend 🙄
Furniture was late being delivered and not what I ordered
Was told would be 8 to 12 weeks to receive my paid in full furniture. Received no contact from anyone to update me on progress. I contacted them a number of times and was given a number of excuses. Finally was told my bed would be delivered between 3 and 6 pm. Never showed and never receved a call. Do not buy from Ashley, horrible experience. Going to try and get my money back as never received anything.
I purchased a sectional in cash 14 weeks ago. They have you sign a covid form saying your furniture is going to take 8-12 weeks to arrive. Knowing full well it isnt going to be there within that time frame. It's just to buy them more time. When I called at the 12 week mark I spoke to the manager who without any remorse says, "so your sectional should arrive middle of july." Another 7 weeks... to be clear. No one called me to update me. Not once. It's clear no one actually knows when your furniture is going to arrive. They are just guessing. I had to ask for more information. All he had to say is things are getting worse. If things are getting worse you should compensate your customers. Make things right. Not just leave them hanging. Hoping to see their furniture within 20 weeks. This is seriously unacceptable. I wanted to purchase a dining room table next, but it's clear it's not going to be at ashley furniture. If someone does respond to this. I'd like a name and a number to call. Google wont let you respond twice and I feel like you should know that. I'd like to talk to a person who can get me some awnsers and make this right, or I'm going to need to cancel.
Horrible company!!! Bought a bedroom suite back in March and still waiting for the correct bed rails. The first time they delivered something they hit my truck in a delivery truck and have had no luck on them fixing it. I get the run around everytime I call. Just overall a horrible company
I purchased a bed WITH CASH and was told it would take 7/8 weeks to be delivered. The WRONG bed was delivered after the 7 week time frame. After letting the store know the wrong bed was delivered, I was informed it would take another 7/8 weeks for the correct bed to be delivered. At this point, I requested a refund and was told I would not be refunded in cash but that I would have to wait 8-10 days for a check refund to be mailed to me from corporate in Birmingham. This whole process has been a joke and I am beyond angry. I will NEVER step foot in an Ashley HomeStore AGAIN and I will be sure to pass on the word about my horrible experience.
I h ave Ben lie to about my furniture every day I was told it was in the warehouse . But the Sofa had to be made . And it wood be delivered on April 6 on 6 I was told it was in Mississippi and being delivered to Birmingham and wood be delivered on the 9 on the 9 the store manger wood not call me back . I ask the lady did she think he wood and she said I can’t answer that . To day is Saturday and still no furniture and was told the loveseat and sofa had to be made. I was told to day 26 of April or 26 of may. I ask for my money back and can’t get a answer . I will not recommend this store to anyone?????
We canceled our order yesterday after almost 13 weeks of waiting for our bedroom furniture. We signed paperwork agreeing to 8 to 12 weeks due to Covid. Every business has been impacted by covid including where I work. Many adjustments have been made to ensuring continued delivery of product to meet deadlines. You can clearly see the companies that excel and think outside the box to avoid disruption. There is no excuse for such a delay. There has been no communication about the issues with our order without us calling to check on the order. The manager pretended he was not aware of our situation thoughout our call yesterday until we were ready to cancel the order. He then stated he was aware of our situation and had several conversations with the sales representative about the delay. This and the fact that the manager offered to try to take from someone else's order to piece together our order did not sit well with us and lead to the cancelation.

Our picky family quickly found furniture we all agreed on even though we were only supposed to be browsing. Wes was amazing and super helpful every step. Definitely one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had.
Wess was fantastic, we went in to just look but he made our experience so wonderful and found us exactly what we wanted. He was not a pressured salesperson, it was more like talking to a friend asking what we liked. Treated my daughter with respect and made her very happy and we all got what we wanted.

I bought 2 recliners and a sofa in February 2020 in 3 months time 1 of the recliners broke. I called them they in turn directed me to the bessemer office. They ordered the part and said a repairman would be sent out once the part got here. I recieved the part 2 months later. This is January 2021 and this recliner is still broke no repairman ever came and yesterday I was told my 1 year warranty was denied. And today she said the repairman had already scheduled my repair. That's funny seeing as how I haven't spoken to any repairman so no there hasn't been. Ms Fran Gates is simply waiting for my 1 year warranty to expire. I dont for a minute believe any email was sent to her from the repairmen because they would've had to talk to me first. DO NOT buy anything from this store. They hire out repairmen they have a totally different company for that nice 5 year warranty which by the way I bought too. So they have no culpability at all.
I bought a recliner in February. It's been broken since may I cant get anyone to fix it. I also purchased a 5 year protection plan. And the recliner is under a 1 year warranty. Doesn't matter they do not care and will not fix the issue. Now they want us to wait till November to get it repaired. Repaired not replaced it should have been replaced immediately. But theres no customer service anymore. I don't recommend you buy anything from this store. Update: months later chairs still broken and Fran Gates has denied my warranty. Seeing as how it's still under the 1 year warranty and I bought a 5 year replacement warranty I'm not sure this is legal. They dont even answer my emails. They ignore me completely. The repair technician that they hire to send to your home I'm not holding my breath waiting on a phone call from them. This has been the biggest headache. All I want is my chair fixed but really at this point it should be replaced!!! The repairmen said that we canceled appointments but no appointment was ever made then they said they couldn't contact us but we did talk to them. So which is it? Their warranties are no good and definitely dont buy the 5 year warranty cause they can and will deny that as well. This chair was not used even 3 months. I'm fed up!!!

The employee by the name of Star was kind and courteous to us on our purchase of Recliner. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our purchase. She is an asset to Ashely furniture in Cullman Al. She was very patient with me in deciding which recliner was best for me. I ordered Queen size mattresses from them on 8/31/2020, I was told by the sales person that it would take 3-5 weeks for delivery. At 5 wks I was told that they didn't know where they were and would call me when they came in and were ready for delivery. At 6 wks and 7 wks, I was told the same story. At 8 weeks, I went into the store and requested the order be cancelled and my down payment be refunded. The manager said she had to get approval and would call me as soon as she got it. The next morning around noon, I called again and was told the manager had gone to lunch. 1 hr later she was still at lunch, Finally around 2:30 she answered my call, said she had been trying to reach me because she needed to know why I was cancelling my order. I again told her why. She then said she had to email her manager and find out how much they were going to charge me for cancelling my order. I told her that there shouldn't be any charge since they breached the contract. I am still waiting for a response.
My husband and I were out shopping for a loveseat this afternoon after we had been working on renovating our house for most of the day. We walked into the store, passed the customer service counter where three employees were sitting. None of them welcomed us or said anything to us; however, the male employee looked at one of the female employees and pointed to us, after which she shook her head indicating, "No." We promptly walked around the perimeter of the store and out the door and you can bet we won't be returning.
It’s ending September 2020. I ordered a California king bed, mattresses, and 2 end tables in July. I found what I want and they happily walked by me all the way in my way through the store. I found one. $3,000 I swiped my card for cause at 1st he said it was a 4 week process to wait. He did not tell me that since this rona pandemic everything was MONTHS OUT!!!July passed fast. And August did as well. I called once a week it’s ending September at this point. I called over my weekend from work and ironically enough the September date of the 22nd I was given the 2nd time has now been moved to oct 28th... keep in mind the dude that sold me the bed didn’t even warn me of this waiting process. I literally had my house built. Went to a different store and purchased complete furniture sets for 3 other rooms of my home, my dining and living room... so to answer your question why I don’t recommend. It only takes as long to build a home to get your order in...
Bought a five year warranty from Ashley. They misspelled our last name. Warranty got lost in the system. Will not buy anything from them again.

Worst place to buy furniture from! I ordered a coffee table about 2 months ago and the first month it was shipped they broke it . They called us every other week to come pick it up and my husband goes and they come up with excuses that its still in the warehouse

I purchased a couch and love seat three months ago. They sent the wrong color and I reached out to them the very next day and I still do not have the correct items delivered or the incorrect items picked up. I have been calling almost everyday and or messaging them. I have been lied to numerous times and placed on hold for 20-30 minutes over and over again only to eventually be disconnected or told to leave a message. If they promise their supervisor will call you the next day do not believe them. I really am at a lose as to what to do at this point. They have already received my payment. If anyone has suggestions as to how to correct the problem please help. And for the record I am not someone who blows up on the phone at them. I am not one to leave reviews either but I feel Ashley's is taking advantage of the pandemic and making a mint off of innocent hard working people. So disappointing! I will not purchase from Ashley online ever again. Update- still cannot get any answers from them as to why they haven't exchanged or even scheduled the shipment of the correct items. The rep I spoke with is very nice and sympathetic but she said her mgr is still investigating it. They located the items I was suppose to receive even though the people didn't notify them of the mix up. I asked, why the delay? Why not just ship me my goods and pick up the items you sent me? The people that received my couch and loveseat has had and prob used it for a couple of months now! Send me tNEW ITEMS not used! Frustrating!!!!

I will not shop at this store again. The manage was rude and appeared to not care if I made a purchase. Sales person, Kyle, never assisted me in the past, however because he made a call to my husband, he split the commission with the trainee who needed assistance writing up my order but not once did he offer his assistance. In fact, my delivery date was postponed because they needed copy of my driver’s license, if he as a senior salesperson, would have reviewed the contract my delivery would not be late. I even suggested he help her, but that did not happen. Staff not friendly and very unprofessional. Manage needs to go and Kyle needs training or go with manage. The employee behind desk looked at paperwork but I guess she was unaware of license requirement. To Kyle: When you are splitting commission and sitting around helping no one else, appears to me you could have offered your assistance - you did not care about me or my purchase, just your commission.
I purchased furniture from this store on March 12th and paid cash I was told then it would have to ship from Birmingham and that it would take two weeks and here it is 2 1/2 months later and we have not received our furniture I realize that the Clovid 19 happened and the store was closed but they have been open for a few weeks now and no effort has been made to get our furniture to us we have talked to multiple people and they said they would check on it and get back to us but then we never hear from them. I spoke to the sales manager at the store James Ray and he wanted to know what he could do for me this was after my wife had explained to him we have been waiting on furniture we purchased and paid for on March 12th which he had looked the sales invoice and knew why I was calling what he can do for me is get my furniture I paid to me like promised.

I really didn't want to give them any stars. One of the sales reps sold my mother a bed frame and mattress. When it was delivered the frame and mattress would not work together. We immediately went to the store to straighten out the mess were told that that person no longer worked there. Also that the frame ordered required a box spring but we didn't order one. I asked if maybe the sales person should have informed my mother of this. The response was well yes but we can order you one today. The store manager gave us a customer service number. The number is only good for defective items. As far as I am concerned this is the last place anyone should buy anything! I will never shop there again.

We had a bit of difficulty regarding a delivery and getting store credit at the Cullman store, but the store eventually made everything right. We particularly were very satisfied with Hayley’s help and service. She was always available, and instrumental in getting us the products we needed in the end.

We had been shopping around for awhile for a sofa and a recliner. I didn’t want a package set so I had my mind set on a particular sofa and a separate recliner. Salesperson Robert Henderson was extremely helpful, worked with us to get where I needed to be in my budget and get the exact sofa and recliner I was looking at. He got us a great deal on exactly what I wanted plus a few extras. I was extremely pleased with his service, and his manager’s assistance in making our deal happen. I would definitely buy from him and Ashley Homestore in Cullman in the future.

Went to Ashley Homestore to look for a new bed and brett set me up with a new Tempur-pedic bed it’s since been delivered and set up in my home and me and my girlfriend both love the bed great experience and Brett helped us find just the right one. 10/10 would recommend
**UPDATED**My husband and I bought a sectional from this store on 11/30 and was given the delivery time frame of 3-6 weeks. On 12/31 we received a call explaining that all the pieces to our sectional had come in and they wanted to set up for delivery on 1/3. Morning of delivery, we get a call from the warehouse all but one piece had come in and we need to wait 7-10 business days for it to arrive. A week later, they call again to tell us that everything is in and set up delivery for 1/10. Morning of this second attempt of delivery, shockingly, there is still a missing piece (different from the last time) and we need to wait 7-10 days more for it to arrive. This now brings me up to today. Today was the THIRD ATTEMPT for delivery and not all the pieces have come in AGAIN. I'm beyond frustrated with this company and LACK OF COMMUNICATION and responsibly. Why has this happened three times? Why is no one physically checking on these pieces until delivery date? I've called asking for managers and have been told that they weren't in but would take a message to give me a call back later. No one in that company wants to make it right or even apologize for that matter. They do not care about the customers. TERRIBLE customer service and unreliable business. It's been almost 8 weeks now and we may never get our couch. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. It's not worth the headache. **Update**The sectional was finally delivered on the 4th attempt. Unfortunately, the sectional BROKE a week later. We filed a claim with warranty on the 7th. A technician was suppose to call within 14 days to set up a date for inspection. It's day 18 and no word from them. I called customer service and they told me to give it another week. This has been the biggest nightmare and regret. We had the couch less than two weeks before the wedge caved right to the floor. TWO WEEKS. Please take your business somewhere else.

A few months ago, Janessa greeted my wife and I and showed us many options to get a great night's rest. After years of tossing and turning and suffering from back and neck pain, we finally have a great quality of life. Who knew the wrong mattress could cause so many issues? I was skeptical at first when she introduced us to the Tempur Pedic section of the store, as we are used to innerspring mattresses. But she took her time with making sure it was the right choice for both of us. Finally we came to a decision on the Breeze model (I am a hot sleeper), and have never felt better! I'm glad we invested in our quality of life. Best investment of my life, and will do it again when the time comes. I can't believe we didn't do it sooner!

I regret buying from them and will never buy from them again! The store is great but the delivery company they use is garbage! They will let you pick a day but not a time regardless of how many times you have to reschedule it. You can have them put a note asking for a time but they dont care. They will still pick whatever time is good for them. They even reschedule appointments without telling the customer and your just left there waiting for furniture that doesn't show up. Go buy from another company so you can actually get your furniture when you are available .
My boyfriend and I went looking for a couch and my boyfriend was getting stressed while looking at other stores. Later on, when we came to Ashley HomeStore we were greeted by Jordan. Jordan was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely helpful when helping us find what we needed and had an amazing attitude. He was humorous, extremely nice, and welcoming. He even asked us about what colors we wanted for our living room, checked prices for us, and tried to get us a better deal. My boyfriend told me that the stress he felt left. We found a couch that we loved at a good price and left very happy. I would definitely recommend asking for Jordan's help when visiting Ashley's.

I I purchased a recliner on 11/11. To pickup up at the store in Huntsville, AL. It has yet to come in. I have called for the last 3 weeks and I am told it's in their warehouse but no one can tell me when it will be at their store for me to pick up. When asked they say maybe it will be on the truck this week. We all know how things work and we know a business knows if an item is on the truck and they can't even tell me that. By chance the day each week my husband or I call is the day the truck is on it's way. The last time I called I asked to talk to a manager and I was told I was taking to a manager named Tracy and she asked me what I wanted her to do about? She was very rude!!! Do not give them your service. They have my money and could care less. So please take my advice. Do not purchase from them. I have tried to call and email the corporate office and it won't go through. I bet they do that on purpose. Lesson Learned!! I have told everyone I know and will continue to spread the word do not purchase from Ashley Furniture! I know want my money back!

My husband & I have been searching for the perfect sectional for our living room. On a kiosk at a local furniture store, I found the Olsberg sectional. Since the Olsberg was an Ashley brand, I thought I’d call the Ashley home store in Cullman and thank goodness I did. When I called I asked for a member of the sales team and got connected to Jordan. Jordan has exceptional customer service skills and thoroughly described every detail of this sectional which made our purchase so much easier and stress free. Ashley home store has my business for all of my future furniture needs.

I was able to negotiate a deal however they seemed to bait and switch on the items I chose and would not correct the issue which left me over paying and somewhat unhappy. Use caution. Now I am editing this 2 years later and I need a replacement remote for my adjustable bed... For 5 months. We have a real winner here folks. Stay away.

We purchased a bedroom set from Ashley home on 15 Aug. During the process I asked if the bed frame would fit a Tempur-pedic platform mattress frame. We were told yes. When we paid, we also paid for the setup of the furniture. Ashley's call us and scheduled delivery for 11 Sep between 11:30 AM and 14:30 PM. The delivery people showed up on time and started to move in the furniture when one of the employees of Ashley's told my wife that they only put the bed together for lunch money. This implied that if my wife did not give them money that they would leave and not put the bed together. My wife felt intimidated because there were three movers there and she was alone. They also knew my wife was visually impaired because she uses a seeing-eye cane. That evening my wife told me what happened, but it was to late to call. I called the next day (12 Sep) to complain and was transferred around until a woman named ___ took my complaint. She told me that someone would call me back the next day (Friday 13 Sep). No one called from Ashly's on Friday. I called again on 20 Sep to complain and the Ashley receptionist told me that someone would call me back by the end on the day Monday 23 Sep. No one call me back. Ashley Home is not taking my concerns about their delivery practices seriously.

The staff was friendly. Just moved to town. Needed new bedroom furniture ordered a dresser from This store on 7/31/19. Still no word on when it will be here. A few weeks later found Barnett Swann in Madison. They sell Ashley furniture. Much cheaper. Ordered the rest of the bedroom set. Living room and dining room furniture. It was way cheaper than Ashley and I had it in 10 days I recommend if you want something from Ashley go to Barnett Swann. Unless you want to pay more and wait forever to get it

Kayte was very helpful and very nice. She was sincere in her attempt to help us. However, her manager contradicted hisself more than once. My girl friend purchased the identical furniture a year ago for the same price at 72 months same as cash. Before the manager knew that, he said the cost of the interest free financing was built in the cost and could only go 12 months on smart buy items and said the banks just dont do that to help. Stated he would have to raise the price to do interest free financing longer. When she revealed to him she had purchased at the same price a year ago, he turned around and said, well the banks were helping us to generate business. It cant be both, and we dont like be lied to. We were going to buy $6000 worth of furnature and the manager was trying to raise prices on everything, plus we had to purchase buy service plans and pay rediculous delivery fees. First time I have ever had this experience of spending thousands to get charged more for furniture. So instead of Ashley Furniture making some profit, they made none... we will purchase elsewhere. If you buy from them, make sure you do your homework and dont settle. Unless you like giving your money away.
Me and my husband was shopping for living room furniture for our new home. I was here in the Cullman store, and he was at work. So we were having to communicate through text. Katie Rice was so sweet and helpful and very patient with us. She provided great service. Will use Ashley Furniture again 😃
Dont shop here if you wanna wait forever on your furniture AFTER the delivery people break half your sectional and a sign inside your apartment, then have the customer service people say it's not their problem. Then after nearly 2 months of waiting for the other half of the sectional, the next delivery guys were professional. I don't reccomend them solely because of the delivery company.

My review 3 months ago read “It has been years since I have had to purchase furniture and I had no idea what to expect. David and the other members of the Ashely Cullman Team quickly put my mind at ease and helped me fill almost every room of my new home with quality furniture that looks great, is backed by quality, and something we will love for years. Every interaction we had during the process was pleasant and easy. Ashely Furniture will be my only stop for future furniture needs.” I am re reviewing because as of today I still do not have all my initial order. I spent over $10k and am still waiting. I have called the customer service line and delivery warehouse 26 times in a single day and still cannot speak with a human. The people in the store cannot even reach their own warehouse. Whoever is running this company needs to take a step back and re think their process. Even after my initial order I returned to the store and bought additional pieces (had I known what I headache it would have been I should have asked for a refund and not bought more) and they refused to allow the additional furniture to be delivered with my initial order, they wanted additional delivery fees. This company has no problem taking money and leaving you out to dry. I am personally going to take the time to file a grievance with the BBB, I strongly urge future furniture shoppers to find a different company to do business with.
Had a long time getting our loveseat that goes with our couch, then one of the recliners on it was messed up n had to wait for another while till we got another one. Then while making payments, they changed to another place for us to pay bills, no one told us, or called until we went in to make a payment then 2 wks after that we get a letter! Won't buy from them again😠

My daughter and I bought furniture at the store in May of last year. She was living in Huntsville at the time but she had to move back to Colorado due to health reasons. Now we're having problems with her adjustable base bed. I managed to get Ashley Sleep to send me the part to fix the bed but of course they won't actually send anyone out to repair it because we're no longer in their servicing area. They weren't going to cover the warranty at all citing that I must've broken it in the move from Alabama to Colorado. I had to politely inform them that my daughter moved back to Colorado in August of last year and this bed recently broke. I've also been informed that my five year warranty isn't any good for the rest of the furniture I purchased because we are outside of their servicing area. I am on a five-year payment plan with these people and if this furniture is damaged I can't get anyone to warranty it even though I have a paid for a five year warranty with the company. I would say that if you're going to buy from the store don't expect the warranty to be honored if you have to move anywhere. Plan to stay in your house forever

Our second time she helped me get a bedframe for my son and helped me choose a throw rug to go with the couch that she had helped me pick out. The wait time can be long when you order things from here but dealing with the sales people like Katie makes it worth it.

Purchased a Sofa and 2 love seats on 11 Jan 2019. I have not received any of my order as of 11 Mar 2019. Nobody in the Ashley Furniture corporation seem to care. If I can reach anyone (which is almost never) all they say is it is on backorder and the delivery dates which they have given me 3 different dates are only an estimate. The only thing Ashley did quickly was take my money and now they don't seem to know how to refund it. I will never purchase from Ashley again and I recommend everyone goes to other furniture stores. Don't make the same mistake I have made. RUN, RUN FAST, RUN FAR
Love our furniture
We ordered over $5,000.00 in furniture three weeks ago with the promise that our base and mattress would be delivered by March 1. On March 1 we had not received a call and touched base without salesman and the manager. We were told the base was in but the mattress was not. The manager told us she would do right by us and call us back. We received no call back.On March 5 we called delivery to "cut out the middle man" and hopefully bridge the lack of communication. Delivery told us they had the mattress and base but couldn't schedule delivery until March 7 (we are still without a bed at this point).We touched base with delivery March 7 and were told the mattress was in but the base was not! This isn't even referencing the rest of the furniture we ordered and were to have delivered. This is only the part that was a necessity for my husband and I and that detail was made clear when we made the order.We can't get anyone to answer the phone. We can't get transferred without being hung up on. The people we do talk to just keep saying they are sorry with no solution to our problem. Save yourself a headache and spend more if you have to. The customer service is garbage!

My whole experience with the store and customer service has been horrible I would not recommend this place to anyone when i have called into customer service I have got the run around and lied to and got a different answer each time then when my furniture was delivered it was damaged with a big hole in the side like someone stabbed it and bottom of loveseat you could see the foam cushion where fabric was cut to short and a bolt sticking out in back i reached out to manage at store i purchased (cullman) and the manager acted like he didn't care and I wasting his time he said he couldn't do nothing till the system updated he would call me on Saturday with update today I called Tuesday the manager is not there and assist manager told me I needed to file a replacement claim with customer service when I called in my pieces have been reordered and the lady was helpful don't see why the store manager couldn't reach out to me like he said he would the only person that has been helpful is Lindsey in the consumer reparations dept

Worst customer service imaginable, I’m the first to understand when a company can’t fulfill a contract on time, things can go wrong. But, I will never accept refusal to provide any service at all. The attitude was that “my job was to take your money after that, I can’t and won’t concern myself with your problems”. After nearly a month of faulty communications and broken promises, they informed they lost some of my furniture and didn’t know when or IF they’d ever have it. They wanted to ship one part of a matching set with no promise I’d get its mate. My credit card has still not been credited, they still don’t care and had the audacity to blame my bank, I mean do they think all customers crawl out from under rocks and don’t know how real businesses treat their customers? The Dream Store has the exact Ashley furniture for a much lower price and they seem to care, check them out. Don’t go to Ashley, they don’t care.

If I could give a zero, I would. Supposedly computer system has been down for two weeks. Worked well enough for them to swipe my debit card for the purchase of a couch. Since then, I have made numerous phone calls asking about the delivery of my couch. Always told system is still down and won't be up until next Tuesday. I am canceling my order today. I will never walk into this store again. Horrible customer service.

If I could choose negative stars then I would! I would never shop at this company again! We purchased a sofa for our living room in November and paid $3000 upfront out of our pocket and have yet to receive all pieces of our furniture! Customer service has Been terrible in helping us to receive all pieces. The final piece showed up today actually and was horribly damaged. So, if you’re looking for a place where you can buy nice furniture and get it within a reasonable amount of time all in one piece without damage, and customer service who actually take pride in their products and trying to make it right for their customers,don’t shop here!
