Love our furniture and mattress but was done wrong and yall had an opportunity to make it right and yall wouldn't so wont be shopping here again what makes it worse is that after me and my wife purchased the furniture we both said to eachother on way home best experience we ever had buying furniture but that all changed when we got the furniture
I am editing a review I made a month ago. Purchased a recliner for $795.00 total, received in a timely manner but realized that the recliner felt like hard plastic and went to the store the next morning to return. My return ended up being $491.00. This is very inappropriate in that the recliner was never used and I returned it during the 24 hour period. Word of caution...do NOT return anything to Ashley Furniture as they will keep most of your money. I will never buy from here again.
We had a great experience with buying a new mattress. Bishop was very nice and very knowledgeable! He showed us to exactly what I asked for then gave us adequate time to decide what we wanted to do.

Update.. was told furniture was to be delivered the week of purchase so I go home and dump the old getting ready for the new and to my surprise it wouldn't be available for delivery until two weeks. After speaking with management and clearing up some confusion they were able to get it delivered sooner than expected. Big thank you for taking the time to reach out to customers about their concerns!
Dylan met us at the door and was friendly and very helpful in showing us several options of the style sofa we were looking for - then left us alone while we pondered and talked privately to make our decision. Once we did, he went over specific features of the item we liked. He made the contract and payment process very easy and we look forward to quick delivery and enjoyment of our new furniture!

Had a good initial experience with the associates. Then scheduling got involved. Finally got a date that I could arrange to be home. No other free time was available for another week for me. Today 10 minutes before arrival at 1 p.m. I get a phone call, and the merchandise is NOT on the delivery truck and will have to be rescheduled. Stated they couldn't send another truck out here today. Seriously? THEN I am not able to cancel my order until tomorrow after 10 a.m. because it was still on the manifest. I'm sitting here with a broken leg, lost my house to a tornado, and have to replace everything. Now this!!!! Not happy and will not frequent this brand again.

Avoid delivery option if at all possible. In store sales team was amazing. Delivery came and they put my bed together with wrong hardware( 3 right brackets 1 left). Frame is all out of square cross boards don’t fit right and a month later I’m still waiting on a hardware to be delivered so I can do it myself.

We bought a recliner from this store and have gotten the run around since. 'It's in Bessemer. Will be here in a week or so'. Three weeks later after being told 'it'll be here Tuesday. Oh no it'll be here Thursday, nope it'll be next Tuesday' and so forth. Still don't have our chair. They say they will call you and they don't. Asked for my money back, 'oh it'll be a 10% cancellation fee. Needless to say, I will never buy from this company again

I go often and never more do I feel more at home when I do. sitting with representatives at the Isanti Dining Table, 4 Chairs and Bench feels like eating breakfast with the kids before school, The Arlendyne Dining Table and 4 Chairs, like I'm speaking to the king and or queen of Ashley kingdoms its self. some times I work real late and I stop by for my third or fourth visit to Ashley, and the service just doesn't end. while speaking to representatives sitting on the Willowton Queen Panel Bed Item: B267B8 feeling like I'm right in the center of the an-Nafud desert, speaking to Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on how many partners can be taken care of on the Bruxworth California King Upholstered Panel Bed Item: B745B5. as representatives tuck me in for sleep, dreaming of the Lonoke Swivel Accent Chair Item: A3000604. I wake to find a iced americano, Kimchi Toast, Kimchi Eggs, and Korean Scallion Pancakes. sitting on the Alymere Coffee Table with 2 End Tables Item: APG-T869922 I childishly yawn as a representative comes by and pats me on the head. I have never felt more at home. after a hardy meal I leave the store, but this will not be the last time I wave good bye and playfully gesture the entire fight scene of 1998s Action/Horror Blade with Wesley snipes. I tear up for the unforgettable moments I've had at Ashley home store in Cullman Alabama

The gentlemen that helped me today was bald and had glasses “unsure of name” and when I say help that is being nice. He was of no help at all he had to go check with someone for every price on everything I asked him, not professional on the stores part to have a inexperienced salesman on the floor. To top it off after I had wasted a good bit of my time finally getting a price from him I asked for a itemized price list and he refused to do that. If your not hiding anything and are giving me the deal your saying why can I not see your itemized price list for the products I’m wanting to look at. Very unprofessional and very poor sales. Will not be returning for any future needs. Went to Farmers home and furniture in cullman after this and was treated with respect and no blind folds over there.

Recently bought furniture, bed, mattress worth 16,500 with Ashley. Ms Taylor was knowledgeable and explained well. Everything was good until the payment is made. They stated they will deliver in 2 weeks. Well, no one even bothered to call for 2 weeks. When we called, they said I need to sign one more paper.🥹 and so delivery was not scheduled. 1.Atleast they should have a courtesy to call for the paper to be signed instead of waiting for our call for 2 weeks. 2. Delivery is scheduled for Dec 21 st , close to 1 month after we paid. 2 items king mattress and base were not available and till now they did not give me an ETA. 3. Another queen adjustable base and an outdoor furniture is scheduled for delivery on Dec 24,2022. This was set up around Dec 15,2022. They just called me Dec 23,2022 at around 10 am stating that they don’t deliver on Saturday. Next available date is Dec 30,2022. Ridiculous,Fuss you. We cancelled our travel plans just for this Saturday delivery. Waste of money for ticket cancellation. Overall, Ashley furniture place is nice to look. Decent furniture. Little expensive. Unreliable, irresponsible in terms of delivery. I still do not have ETA on 2 major items. For delivery and assembly, I am paying close to 900 dollars. Many other stores does free. Too much headache, stress, time waste. Do we need it after spending 16,500 dollars. Keep on calling Ashley people again and again without proper response. Thank you Ashley furniture for the wonderful worse experience so faar. Sorry forgot a smiley. 🙂

This is an update. Originally gave 5 stars for friendly staff and customer service. However, our experience went down hill fast. Was told furniture would be in house in 2-3 weeks. It’s now been 9 and still nothing. Several calls have been made and messages left, but never a return call.

I bought a leather recliner set supposed to be what it is is cloth with some sprayed on leather that peels off I bought the extended warranty they did nothing it was peeling off in 3 months.
A couple weeks ago my wife and I decided to buy a new mattress. We went into Ashley‘s home furniture and Lee Ann Edwards greeted us. She was very educated on their mattress selection and really qualified us before making any suggestions. She really listen to our need seeing how my wife and I both have back problems. We ended up agreeing on a Tempur-pedic luxe breeze. Best mattress ever! Lee Ann’s suggesting this particular mattress has made a vast difference in our quality of life. Both of our backs hurt less and we’ve increased our range of mobility. Thank you Lee Ann Edwards!

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. My wife and I ordered a new coffee table and 2 end tables. The coffee table was delivered 4 days later and the end tables had an expected wait time of 4-6 months. We consistently got updates from a previous employee on the status of our end tables. Once that employee quit, we got nothing. We decided to check in at the 6 month mark and they said it could be another month. 3 months later, we checked in again. We were then told that the product was discontinued and we would never receive them. That sounds like a simple refund or store credit but no. It took months to get out money back after dealing with their customer service department. Fast forward about a year. My parents decide to get a new couch and love seat. On the first delivery 1 love seat and 2 sections of the sectional were delivered. The third piece was broken. They decided to try again. The second time it was delivered. It was broken again. They then decided for a refund. After hours of dealing with customer service they were told that Ashley would refund them but keep $900 dollars for a restocking fee. The fact that they are charging a fee for something that was never complete and is now used blows my mind. Do yourself a favor and stay far away

For starters we showed up 30 minutes before closing. Beth was our sales lady and she was amazing. She walked us around the store, helped with the application process and gave us time to come to the final decision on what we wanted. We didn't feel rushed at all. I made a major purchase from Lee Ann Edwards at Ashley Home Store and she was VERY knowledgeable about all the furniture I was interested in. With regards to warranties, protection and operations of all electronic doo dad’s on the furniture I purchased. She was very kind and extremely helpful making sure I felt I was the only customer in the building. I’d post pics but I’m waiting on the arrival of my furniture. Every piece of furniture we have bought has been defective. And it takes months of dealing with customer servive to get anything done. They don't answer the phone and don't return phone calls.

I WOULD GIVE A ZERO BUT HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE STAR! COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE! It’s now been over a month since a refund has been made! A recliner was paid for in cash & when we realized we ordered the wrong one, we canceled our order the next day. We were good a refund in form of a check would be mailed out within 2 weeks. Still waiting. When we called to inquire about it, no check had been mailed. The lady says she thought we wanted to get something else in the place of the chair. The only reason we canceled was because they didn’t have a chair to fit our needs. They want to take money but are not helpful with returning it!

This review is a reflection on the entire Ashley store, not necessarily the local sales person. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait Update as of 10/4/22 We are still waiting for delivery of our bed. It was scheduled for delivery on Saturday, 10/1, between 1:30 and 4:30. We prepped the bedroom by moving out some night stands and other furniture to make it easier for them to install the bed. We moved a king size mattress and box springs. The scheduled time frame came and went but no one showed and no one called. We ended up putting our bed back together that evening. On Monday, 10/3, I contacted the warehouse and was told it appeared no one got a delivery from that truck on Saturday. The person with whom I spoke said she would have to send an email to the delivery team and she would let me know when she had information. I contacted our sales person at the local store to see is she could help and she said she could and apologized for the inconvenience. As of this review, I am still waiting to hear from SOMEONE. Taylor Wright with the Cullman, Alabama Ashley Furniture store was a pleasure to deal with. We were shopping for a bed. Taylor was very pleasant and made it a very comfortable experience. She explained things very well and demonstrated all the features of the adjustable bed.

WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN Bought about $9,000 worth of furniture here over the summer. Hasn't been delivered yet due to our house not being completed quite yet. Asked for a refund on 4 Adirondack chairs because we were considering an upgrade and the manager Informed me that there would be a cancelation fee of 10%. Enjoy that $90 becawe wont spend another dime here. Still getting the runaround in December on furniture I paid for in June/July. These people flat out mislead you to get your money.
We ordered and paid for our furniture June 7th and just got part of it 16 weeks today and still haven't received our dining table and chairs. The other furniture was delivered with them not calling to let us know that they would be early and we was out to eat. The delivery man was rude, the women that I talked to about the dining table was rude want ever buy from them ever again.
I would give anything to be able to give a “negative star” rating if possible. I ordered an end table back in March 2021 to match two reclining chairs that I purchased at the store at the same time. The chairs came in a few weeks later while I continued to wait on the end table (which was supposed to be available before the chairs). Finally in the middle of summer it was coordinated to be delivered on a Thursday in which both my wife and I waited all day and nothing was delivered. I called the next day and was told I should’ve received a call from customer care saying that they wouldn’t be able to make it that day. A full burnt day of nothing. I then asked could it just be dropped off at the store and me pick it up. It is now the middle of September and I AM STILL WAITING. A couple of weeks ago I found through Synchrony that I had been charged for the end table so I started calling the store and I was told it was showing in their system that it had been delivered and nothing else could be done. They give me a customer care number only for me to call and be told that all Ashley stores in the state of AL are independently owned and they couldn’t help me. Since being told it was already delivered when they can’t give me an answer on who/why it wasn’t signed on delivery, I have since called 7 times and all they have done is taken my name and number to call me back in which I have yet to receive a call back. As of today, after 7 calls in 2wks, no call backs as promised, 7 different confused answers on “why” I don’t have it, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will continue to give negative reviews so that no one else experiences such unprofessionalism and frustration. Looking at the reviews it seems I’m not the first or only.
I waited 6 months on a couch have had it since March and it's already broken a piece of wood came uptacted I have contacted the store because it's unwaranty & the customer care and haven't got an update and it's been a week do not recommend 🙄
Furniture was late being delivered and not what I ordered
Was told would be 8 to 12 weeks to receive my paid in full furniture. Received no contact from anyone to update me on progress. I contacted them a number of times and was given a number of excuses. Finally was told my bed would be delivered between 3 and 6 pm. Never showed and never receved a call. Do not buy from Ashley, horrible experience. Going to try and get my money back as never received anything.
I purchased a sectional in cash 14 weeks ago. They have you sign a covid form saying your furniture is going to take 8-12 weeks to arrive. Knowing full well it isnt going to be there within that time frame. It's just to buy them more time. When I called at the 12 week mark I spoke to the manager who without any remorse says, "so your sectional should arrive middle of july." Another 7 weeks... to be clear. No one called me to update me. Not once. It's clear no one actually knows when your furniture is going to arrive. They are just guessing. I had to ask for more information. All he had to say is things are getting worse. If things are getting worse you should compensate your customers. Make things right. Not just leave them hanging. Hoping to see their furniture within 20 weeks. This is seriously unacceptable. I wanted to purchase a dining room table next, but it's clear it's not going to be at ashley furniture. If someone does respond to this. I'd like a name and a number to call. Google wont let you respond twice and I feel like you should know that. I'd like to talk to a person who can get me some awnsers and make this right, or I'm going to need to cancel.
Horrible company!!! Bought a bedroom suite back in March and still waiting for the correct bed rails. The first time they delivered something they hit my truck in a delivery truck and have had no luck on them fixing it. I get the run around everytime I call. Just overall a horrible company
I h ave Ben lie to about my furniture every day I was told it was in the warehouse . But the Sofa had to be made . And it wood be delivered on April 6 on 6 I was told it was in Mississippi and being delivered to Birmingham and wood be delivered on the 9 on the 9 the store manger wood not call me back . I ask the lady did she think he wood and she said I can’t answer that . To day is Saturday and still no furniture and was told the loveseat and sofa had to be made. I was told to day 26 of April or 26 of may. I ask for my money back and can’t get a answer . I will not recommend this store to anyone?????
We canceled our order yesterday after almost 13 weeks of waiting for our bedroom furniture. We signed paperwork agreeing to 8 to 12 weeks due to Covid. Every business has been impacted by covid including where I work. Many adjustments have been made to ensuring continued delivery of product to meet deadlines. You can clearly see the companies that excel and think outside the box to avoid disruption. There is no excuse for such a delay. There has been no communication about the issues with our order without us calling to check on the order. The manager pretended he was not aware of our situation thoughout our call yesterday until we were ready to cancel the order. He then stated he was aware of our situation and had several conversations with the sales representative about the delay. This and the fact that the manager offered to try to take from someone else's order to piece together our order did not sit well with us and lead to the cancelation.

I bought a recliner in February. It's been broken since may I cant get anyone to fix it. I also purchased a 5 year protection plan. And the recliner is under a 1 year warranty. Doesn't matter they do not care and will not fix the issue. Now they want us to wait till November to get it repaired. Repaired not replaced it should have been replaced immediately. But theres no customer service anymore. I don't recommend you buy anything from this store. Update: months later chairs still broken and Fran Gates has denied my warranty. Seeing as how it's still under the 1 year warranty and I bought a 5 year replacement warranty I'm not sure this is legal. They dont even answer my emails. They ignore me completely. The repair technician that they hire to send to your home I'm not holding my breath waiting on a phone call from them. This has been the biggest headache. All I want is my chair fixed but really at this point it should be replaced!!! The repairmen said that we canceled appointments but no appointment was ever made then they said they couldn't contact us but we did talk to them. So which is it? Their warranties are no good and definitely dont buy the 5 year warranty cause they can and will deny that as well. This chair was not used even 3 months. I'm fed up!!!

My husband and I were out shopping for a loveseat this afternoon after we had been working on renovating our house for most of the day. We walked into the store, passed the customer service counter where three employees were sitting. None of them welcomed us or said anything to us; however, the male employee looked at one of the female employees and pointed to us, after which she shook her head indicating, "No." We promptly walked around the perimeter of the store and out the door and you can bet we won't be returning.
Bought a five year warranty from Ashley. They misspelled our last name. Warranty got lost in the system. Will not buy anything from them again.

I will not shop at this store again. The manage was rude and appeared to not care if I made a purchase. Sales person, Kyle, never assisted me in the past, however because he made a call to my husband, he split the commission with the trainee who needed assistance writing up my order but not once did he offer his assistance. In fact, my delivery date was postponed because they needed copy of my driver’s license, if he as a senior salesperson, would have reviewed the contract my delivery would not be late. I even suggested he help her, but that did not happen. Staff not friendly and very unprofessional. Manage needs to go and Kyle needs training or go with manage. The employee behind desk looked at paperwork but I guess she was unaware of license requirement. To Kyle: When you are splitting commission and sitting around helping no one else, appears to me you could have offered your assistance - you did not care about me or my purchase, just your commission.
I really didn't want to give them any stars. One of the sales reps sold my mother a bed frame and mattress. When it was delivered the frame and mattress would not work together. We immediately went to the store to straighten out the mess were told that that person no longer worked there. Also that the frame ordered required a box spring but we didn't order one. I asked if maybe the sales person should have informed my mother of this. The response was well yes but we can order you one today. The store manager gave us a customer service number. The number is only good for defective items. As far as I am concerned this is the last place anyone should buy anything! I will never shop there again.

We had been shopping around for awhile for a sofa and a recliner. I didn’t want a package set so I had my mind set on a particular sofa and a separate recliner. Salesperson Robert Henderson was extremely helpful, worked with us to get where I needed to be in my budget and get the exact sofa and recliner I was looking at. He got us a great deal on exactly what I wanted plus a few extras. I was extremely pleased with his service, and his manager’s assistance in making our deal happen. I would definitely buy from him and Ashley Homestore in Cullman in the future.

A few months ago, Janessa greeted my wife and I and showed us many options to get a great night's rest. After years of tossing and turning and suffering from back and neck pain, we finally have a great quality of life. Who knew the wrong mattress could cause so many issues? I was skeptical at first when she introduced us to the Tempur Pedic section of the store, as we are used to innerspring mattresses. But she took her time with making sure it was the right choice for both of us. Finally we came to a decision on the Breeze model (I am a hot sleeper), and have never felt better! I'm glad we invested in our quality of life. Best investment of my life, and will do it again when the time comes. I can't believe we didn't do it sooner!
Jordan and Kyle were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Cullman store and these two guys.
I regret buying from them and will never buy from them again! The store is great but the delivery company they use is garbage! They will let you pick a day but not a time regardless of how many times you have to reschedule it. You can have them put a note asking for a time but they dont care. They will still pick whatever time is good for them. They even reschedule appointments without telling the customer and your just left there waiting for furniture that doesn't show up. Go buy from another company so you can actually get your furniture when you are available .
My boyfriend and I went looking for a couch and my boyfriend was getting stressed while looking at other stores. Later on, when we came to Ashley HomeStore we were greeted by Jordan. Jordan was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely helpful when helping us find what we needed and had an amazing attitude. He was humorous, extremely nice, and welcoming. He even asked us about what colors we wanted for our living room, checked prices for us, and tried to get us a better deal. My boyfriend told me that the stress he felt left. We found a couch that we loved at a good price and left very happy. I would definitely recommend asking for Jordan's help when visiting Ashley's.

I was able to negotiate a deal however they seemed to bait and switch on the items I chose and would not correct the issue which left me over paying and somewhat unhappy. Use caution. Now I am editing this 2 years later and I need a replacement remote for my adjustable bed... For 5 months. We have a real winner here folks. Stay away.

Kayte was very helpful and very nice. She was sincere in her attempt to help us. However, her manager contradicted hisself more than once. My girl friend purchased the identical furniture a year ago for the same price at 72 months same as cash. Before the manager knew that, he said the cost of the interest free financing was built in the cost and could only go 12 months on smart buy items and said the banks just dont do that to help. Stated he would have to raise the price to do interest free financing longer. When she revealed to him she had purchased at the same price a year ago, he turned around and said, well the banks were helping us to generate business. It cant be both, and we dont like be lied to. We were going to buy $6000 worth of furnature and the manager was trying to raise prices on everything, plus we had to purchase buy service plans and pay rediculous delivery fees. First time I have ever had this experience of spending thousands to get charged more for furniture. So instead of Ashley Furniture making some profit, they made none... we will purchase elsewhere. If you buy from them, make sure you do your homework and dont settle. Unless you like giving your money away.
Me and my husband was shopping for living room furniture for our new home. I was here in the Cullman store, and he was at work. So we were having to communicate through text. Katie Rice was so sweet and helpful and very patient with us. She provided great service. Will use Ashley Furniture again 😃
Dont shop here if you wanna wait forever on your furniture AFTER the delivery people break half your sectional and a sign inside your apartment, then have the customer service people say it's not their problem. Then after nearly 2 months of waiting for the other half of the sectional, the next delivery guys were professional. I don't reccomend them solely because of the delivery company.

My review 3 months ago read “It has been years since I have had to purchase furniture and I had no idea what to expect. David and the other members of the Ashely Cullman Team quickly put my mind at ease and helped me fill almost every room of my new home with quality furniture that looks great, is backed by quality, and something we will love for years. Every interaction we had during the process was pleasant and easy. Ashely Furniture will be my only stop for future furniture needs.” I am re reviewing because as of today I still do not have all my initial order. I spent over $10k and am still waiting. I have called the customer service line and delivery warehouse 26 times in a single day and still cannot speak with a human. The people in the store cannot even reach their own warehouse. Whoever is running this company needs to take a step back and re think their process. Even after my initial order I returned to the store and bought additional pieces (had I known what I headache it would have been I should have asked for a refund and not bought more) and they refused to allow the additional furniture to be delivered with my initial order, they wanted additional delivery fees. This company has no problem taking money and leaving you out to dry. I am personally going to take the time to file a grievance with the BBB, I strongly urge future furniture shoppers to find a different company to do business with.
Had a long time getting our loveseat that goes with our couch, then one of the recliners on it was messed up n had to wait for another while till we got another one. Then while making payments, they changed to another place for us to pay bills, no one told us, or called until we went in to make a payment then 2 wks after that we get a letter! Won't buy from them again😠

My whole experience with the store and customer service has been horrible I would not recommend this place to anyone when i have called into customer service I have got the run around and lied to and got a different answer each time then when my furniture was delivered it was damaged with a big hole in the side like someone stabbed it and bottom of loveseat you could see the foam cushion where fabric was cut to short and a bolt sticking out in back i reached out to manage at store i purchased (cullman) and the manager acted like he didn't care and I wasting his time he said he couldn't do nothing till the system updated he would call me on Saturday with update today I called Tuesday the manager is not there and assist manager told me I needed to file a replacement claim with customer service when I called in my pieces have been reordered and the lady was helpful don't see why the store manager couldn't reach out to me like he said he would the only person that has been helpful is Lindsey in the consumer reparations dept
I was greeted and helped by a guy named Christopher. He was very sweet and so helpful, and it’s nice to have such a positive person helping you. Definitely a 5 Star visit.
Worst customer service imaginable, I’m the first to understand when a company can’t fulfill a contract on time, things can go wrong. But, I will never accept refusal to provide any service at all. The attitude was that “my job was to take your money after that, I can’t and won’t concern myself with your problems”. After nearly a month of faulty communications and broken promises, they informed they lost some of my furniture and didn’t know when or IF they’d ever have it. They wanted to ship one part of a matching set with no promise I’d get its mate. My credit card has still not been credited, they still don’t care and had the audacity to blame my bank, I mean do they think all customers crawl out from under rocks and don’t know how real businesses treat their customers? The Dream Store has the exact Ashley furniture for a much lower price and they seem to care, check them out. Don’t go to Ashley, they don’t care.

If I could choose negative stars then I would! I would never shop at this company again! We purchased a sofa for our living room in November and paid $3000 upfront out of our pocket and have yet to receive all pieces of our furniture! Customer service has Been terrible in helping us to receive all pieces. The final piece showed up today actually and was horribly damaged. So, if you’re looking for a place where you can buy nice furniture and get it within a reasonable amount of time all in one piece without damage, and customer service who actually take pride in their products and trying to make it right for their customers,don’t shop here!
