WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ...... Went to purchase a couch and mattress. Found what we wanted, and was prepared to pay in full for the purchase. Was advised by April, that if we financed it through their program we would get a discount and we could then just pay the full price once the furniture was delivered (no payment due until then). We agreed ( who wouldn't, to get a discount). When the furniture was received and I created my account online so that I could now pay off the furniture at the discounted price, the payoff was ~$800 more than if I had written a check at the store. I called the store and after speaking with and explaining exactly what transpired , to the Store Manager, I was advised that they would reach out to the finance / leasing company to resolve. The finance company, ACIMA reached out and advised that they would send me, via email, a revised bill that was the cost of the purchase plus. Approx 1 week later I reached back out to ACIMA, the leasing company, and they are unable to tell me the amount due and they will need to research (again). I am ready to throw the couch and mattress in the back of my truck and go leave on the sidewalk at the store!

My wife and I visited the Montgomery highway location of you establishment in Dothan Al to purchase a new bed. Mrs Natalia was our salesperson and she did a great job. This lady is truly an asset to this company. She was patient with us and let us look the over the whole store and make our decision without any influence or hard sale pressure. She helped us in making a decision on the type of mattress that suited us best and just did her job. It was nice to deal with someone so down to earth that didn't blow sunshine up your butt for a dollar. We will be back for more in the future as long as we can deal with Natalia.

STOPP!! If you’re looking to buy furniture, just keep on moving past Ashley’s because they are AWFUL!!!!! Maybe this will save someone else from the hassle and stress - DO NOT BUY from Ashley’s furniture or have anything delivered by them. I have never experienced such AWFUL customer service, honestly it’s sickening. For such expensive, “high quality” furniture they claim to have, their customer service flushes them down the toilet. I had a bed set delivered over a week ago, that’s all kinds of messed up. Immediately after the delivery team left we got on the phone and we were brushed off like was not a big deal I couldn’t even use the furniture they just set up. Was told that we had to wait till early the following week for a different manager to call us. I was told that the mistake was on there ends that the pieces order for the bed frame were mismatched. I spoke to a manager Monday and we were told 1-3 weeks for delivery because they’re booked out, ABSOLUTELY NOT!! They said that there wasn’t a delivery in our area before then…. YETTT there wasn an Ashley’s truck ON OUR ROAD Thursday the 3rd.🤔 I have consistently been having reach out to them to get any details on our issue. (they haven’t taken the effort to reach out to us not once). Finally, they said can have it delivered … but it will be on the 9th between 6:30-9pm?! Seriously?! really not promising they’ll even show up at this point considering the awful service we have had. All this being said, NEVER will I purchase from Ashley’s Furniture again. I will make it a point to share with others so that others are not in the same situation to deal with such awful customer service. Disappointing is an understatement!!

It was truly a breath of fresh air to work with her and she made it a wonderful shopping experience! I wanted to give it a minute to sink in, my wife and I were looking for a new couch for the living room and landed not just a small couch she’d be happy to have in the living room but honestly her ideal, dream couch. Natalia was super friendly from the start, walking in was a warm welcome a brief but efficient explanation of the layout; she let us roam and feel out what we were looking for. Natalia checked in often enough so we knew we were taken care of but not overbearing- which was appreciated. My wife and I will be visiting them again very soon and we highly recommend you do as well.

I like the furniture "okay" but the reason I am leaving one star is that I ordered something and they have messed up on my order three times now! I am a very busy person and don't have time to be calling the warehouse everyday! so I guess when they open Monday I will call back yet again and see if they can get it right on the 4th time. I dealt with a warehouse in Thomasville Georgia and a girl by the name of Bridget took my order and she could not get my address right after telling her several times and then they sent me the wrong product and so many different things went wrong. I hate leaving bad reviews but I am just so frustrated.

Purchased furniture. Canceled the furniture prior to delivery after finding the same set for a better price. Received a call regarding the delivery two weeks later. We explained that the order had been canceled. We then went to the store to ensure the order had been canceled correctly. They, for the third time, ensured us that the order had been canceled. Weeks later we received a call from the credit department regarding the the "unpaid bill." We spent nearly an hour being transferred from person to person while explaining repeatedly that we had canceled the order, three times, and did not owe anything. The credit department eventually refunded the "never made purchase." Following, we received a credit card bill of zero, save a "LATE CHARGE". We will never again do "almost" business with this company.

Will never purchase through Ashley again. We purchased a mattress and foundation, the store insisted we pay the $400 delivery fee even though we didn't want to, now we have been waiting 2.5 weeks longer than they told us for our mattress and foundation only for them to set a delivery date, which we confirmed the address THREE times prior to delivery directly with Ashley, they still could not complete delivery due to their system having the incorrect address. How do they solve the hassle to the customer? Offer $150 - give me a break. Oh, and the sales rep? Out of the picture as soon as they get the sale - they do not care about customer service.

Out salesperson was Natalia and she was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, considerate and engaging. There was no pressure to purchase and she was patient while we browsed the showroom searching for the perfect piece. The showroom was well kept and laid out in an easy to view manner. Whomever designed the “Room” layouts did a great job highlighting the beauty of the furniture, making it all look great. We would definitely return to this store for more furniture purchases.

We were so happy when we bought our bedroom suite, and super happy when they said it was to be delivered in 1-3 weeks. That was the start of July. We are now on September 20th and I just received the furniture. Every time you get someone on the phone they are complete jerks. I had one lady hang up the phone on me. I will NEVER buy from this place again, and I still have to buy more furniture for our new home. I regret walking into this store, so take this into mind. You won’t receive good customer service or your product in time.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley store furniture very bad quality I received of my sectional sofa I receive a broken piece call guardian to fix it they refused it and also the store refuses to fix aswell. I had a horrible experience with Natalia when purchasing in store we let her know we would look at some more furniture because we didn’t feel secure with buying this sectional but we felt pressured by her. She said it was a 4 recliner and recibe 3 recliner came in and talk to her and she just said we had to paid for an extra one. She said we had cleaning service for cleaning the sectional and she lied.

Dothan store has great people.. Make sure to read the fine print when buying furniture once it's in your house for 3 days they will not take it back no matter the problem. Bridgett in the warranty dept has the worst attitude also get warranty or you are out of luck with problems be going since 01/ 24 until present waiting. Please people that know me don't buy from Ashley Furniture. I have never been done so wrongly.

Natalia greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in. She was dressed so professional and the atmosphere of the store made us feel welcome. Looking back they were making sale price which was actually real price. If you look on reviews on there page or do ur research u will see Ashley’s has actually been sued quite a bit for this. I bought in feb. they told me it was top of line resisted stains well they were told I was in my recliner on a heating pad almost 19 to 20 hours a day could it resist. They swore it could even the manager it was the greatest newest material nothing could mess it up. Well a little yellow stain showed up I called for someone to fix took a month but my seat cover finally got here 2 months later I ask I why it hadn’t been repaired by this time heating pad had burned hole in it. They said work order showed completed so I had to place another bc no one had been here the guy had called at 430 one afternoon and ask to come between 8-11 the next morning I told him I had appt with wound care. Well he comes out to fix finally and said something was wrong with the mechanism he didn’t let recliners up and down all he did was glance at it and take pic of burn and say he would cover when he put mechanism in that was soposssed to take a few days took 3 weeks still no date when there coming to fix. Now I paid $2000 for a couch $2000 for a love seat and $1000 for a warranty. The warranty kicked in after Ashley’s one year. Joke. They have sent me the cover and mechanism and now tell me I willl have to pay to have seat covered. Or call guardian the warranty company well Ashley already paid for supplies. But guardian is sopossed to fix. Ashley is a joke I wouldn’t buy a throw pillow from them ever again. Be cautious before u fall into there trap the manager was talking to me and in mid conversation says Ashley I got to go I got and emergency inside the store I got a go got to go call u back click

ADDITION: The in store service was exception the only reason i edited my review was because of my delivery experience.They origionally had me scheduled for wenesday at 1pm through 4 pm i had made sure i was off work for these hours. I then get a text at 9:50am saying it will be delivered in an hour. I was stuck at work and luckily was able to leave and come back. Its unfortunate they dont take peoples life into consideration when it comes to delivery. They only deliver 1 day a week to my area and you cant pick a time frame they pick it for you and then its not guarenteed they abide by that time frame.

The Ashley delivery people arrived to deliver our new Ashley couch. They were very polite and set the box on my porch. I offered them a $20 tip each if they would set it in my living room. They politely declined saying they couldn't on drop-ship deliveries and they had gotten in trouble for doing it in the past. Very understandable and I was disappointed but not upset. Where it went bad was when they opened the doors to get in their truck they both burst into laughter,  I assume from the thought of me with a heavy couch on my porch and rain moving in. Luckily I was able to un-box it and remove eight bolts from the frame and separate the base into three pieces. At that point I was able move it to the living room. They should have waited until they closed their truck doors to laugh at me. I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again.

My experience with Elizabeth was great. She was wonderful and didn’t pressure me. She was very helpful. I give my in-store experience 5 stars plus! However, the reason I didn’t rate the store 5 stars is because of my experience when scheduling delivery. What happened to good customer service and trying to accommodate your customer’s schedule? I shouldn’t have to accommodate a preset delivery schedule. They only come to my town one day a week. Because I couldn’t pick my delivery date, I have to take vacation time off work to be available for delivery. Also, when I called back to see if I could be contacted if there was a cancellation, I was told absolutely not. I don’t know what it would hurt to be a bit more accommodating to your customers when it comes to delivery options.

I purchased a leather Man-Den sofa and chair from Ashley’s in Dothan, Al and paid $7000.00 for the set. I told them I expected it to be delivered in the new condition that I ordered and they delivered it later than agreed on and when they set it up one side of the sofa didn’t work. They left it and said they would come back and get it but have not. They said they would bring a new one but insisted on repairing this one. I haven’t been successful getting anything accomplished and still only half of the sofa works properly! I have filed a dispute with their bank but they also said they are waiting for technician to repair before they can cancel contract if they decide to take that route! I have bought lots of furniture from Ashley but this takes the cake! I’m a 67 year old single female on disability with Fatty Liver Cirrhosis possibly Liver cancer in which I will find out May 15th since I just had MRI and CT scan. I think I have enough to worry about excluding this other added to it. Two Months waiting for my new couch!!!

If I could give zero stars then I would. I had the worst experience ever with this Ashley location in Dothan, AL. I received a sofa set and it was damaged and came with a broken piece. I contacted customer serious numerous times in the past three months and they have still not fixed my sofa set or replaced it. Someone came out and they did not fix it at all. When I called customer service again they did not give me a proper response. Someone came out two times to fix the broken piece that was broken when they delivered it. It was damage done by them and they still cannot replace it for me. I contacted customer care and gave them all the information they asked for such as pictures and everything. I cannot believe that we spent so much money for them to just deliver a broken sofa set. I will be taking further action to ensure the issue is fixed but please save yourself the headache and do not buy from this place. This has been the worst experience ever. We have had to wait so long and still have not been able to receive a proper response.

We have always had good service with the products that we have bought from Ashley. The Dothan store has exceptional associates. Their care for my husband and I touched my ❤️. He is fighting stage 4 lung cancer and he needed an electric recliner, they got us taken care of and his chair was delivered 4 days later. So very thankful to Kynesia, you are truly special. I ordered a bedroom suit from Ashley furniture in Dothan al in November 2021. Part of the order (bed and dresser) was finally delivered in January. Well when the delivery men attempted to put together my bed they saw that the rails were broken. They called customer service to informed them and was advised to take pictures of the broken pieces so customer service could order new rails which left my mattress on the floor. I was told that I should receive new rails within 2 weeks.Well I waited patiently from January to march for my rails but when I called Ashley furniture told they never had a request for new rails and it could take up to 8-12 weeks before I would receive anything. Well since then I have been calling weekly about my rails and given different dates every time. As of 26 May 22 I am still waiting on rails and my mattress is still on the floor. I haven’t been ordered any compensation for their negligence and when I went into the store to speak to someone they told me I should have called my sales person like it was my fault no one is doing their job. I advise no one to order from Ashley furniture EVER.

The selection was not great for the prices. It was ok. The staff was ok. We had to wait awhile for staff to talk to us and were given the feeling that we were not wanted in the store.

Found a couch online. Went in and ordered it. Done. Out in 30 minutes. That was my review after just dealing with sales. I had no idea what I had in store in the future with this company. Sales is fine, delivery is fine. However scheduling and customer service is the worst. I had NUMEROUS attempts to schedule partial deliveries even though I specified at the time of the order that I will NEVER accept partial deliveries. I get texts with the only option is CONFIRM partial delivery and I have to spend 20 to 45 minutes on hold to speak with customer service to have the partial delivery NOT scheduled. Then 2 days later it happens AGAIN! And again! And Again! Numerous attempts to do a partial delivery. Customer service and scheduling threaten to give away the partial delivery to another customer. I tell them to do it. And not that nice. Then I get a reprieve from the texts only to start up again later. I have spent HOURS on the phone with customer service and they just don't read or honor the No Partial Deliveries agreement. And tell me they CAN'T stop the attempts. Ashley had made my NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN list.

We drove the experience. The sales process was low pressure and Mo and Megan made themselves available for questions when we had them. This was as low pressure of a sales experience as we could hope for. Mo and Megan were incredibly patient with us and our easily distracted and incredibly bored 5 year old. When we first arrived, we met with Mo, but we’re quickly intercepted by the manager, Megan. We later found out that it was because Mo was already juggling four separate clients and Megan was helping with the rush. That speaks volumes to us, making sure that there’s enough coverage for the rush that customers have adequate access to someone who can help. They were upfront about delivery challenges and delays, ensuring that we had reasonable expectations when it comes time to get our furniture delivered. They went over the different financing options available and didn’t pressure us into one, instead letting us decide which one we wanted to use for ourselves. At no point were we flustered or uncomfortable throughout the process. You know how you always feel like you need a shower after talking with a car salesman? This was not that. We are happy to enter into a business relationship with this location and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend our sales people to anyone who asks.

Ordered a dining room set in November. Was told it would be delivered in a week but the delivery charge was outrageous. So choose to have it drop shipped and we would put it together. 2 monthes later and we are still waiting. Called and was told it could take up to 4 monthes for shipping. Are you kidding me! If i had paid the 500.00 delivery and set up fee it would have been here in a week. And was over charged! Never deal with them again.

I must say how impressed I was with the customer service from Natalia Proell at the Ashley store in Dothan, AL. She was very professional, patient, and personable. No matter how many questions my husband and I asked (and there were many) she never seemed irritated or hurried when answering them. She was super thorough and did everything she could to make sure that we were satisfied including finding discounts on the furniture we purchased. At a time where most people are frustrated and complaining about everything, I rarely see posts about the good service that people provide, so I just had to say how much I appreciated the excellent service that Natalia extended to me. My Experience Was Excellent I Love The Way I Was Treated. Like Family. Natalia Was Awesome Sales Person.

Ordered a bed in March 2021. Supposed to be delivered and set up within the next two to three weeks. Two months later I call to inquire. They have a headboard but not the footboard and rails. Two months later I call again. Footboard and headboard arrived. No rails yet. Three months later I finally get a message to set up delivery. Bed is delivered, bolts are missing. I am advised it should take 3-5 days to get the bolts. Two weeks later I finally get the bolts. A month later, the very nice young man comes to put the bed together. The wrong brackets are on the rails. So, again, here I am….bed parts in an extra bedroom and my own bed with just bare mattresses, no bed frame and no idea when this saga will end. Ashley…get your act together.

We ordered a bedroom furniture set in July of 2021 with an expected arrival date of October 2021. We received a partial delivery of the dressers, headboard and footboard in October. We received the mirror for the dresser in November, but it was the children's sized mirror. Not the full sized mirror that we ordered. Here we are end of November and the company STILL can not give me a delivery date for the rest of the bed. While I can understand that every company is delayed right now, we were promised to have the full set by October. Had we had known it would be 4 plus months and counting, and we would have to go this long without a bed, we'd have never ordered. We are still required to pay for the nonexistent bed. Just be advised, their wait time is MUCH longer than they tell you in store.

My husband and I purchased a large sectional in May 2021 from Ashley Furniture in Dothan, Alabama. We were told that it could take up to 12 weeks for delivery “but would more than likely not take nearly this long.” Customer service has been absolutely useless in all of this. We are now 12 weeks out from our purchase date without our sectional. They are unable to tell me when the remaining pieces will come in - “there is no way for them to know” is what they continue to tell me. We are now trying to get our money refunded, and we are being told it has to go through “proper channels after the forms are filled out, and someone will contact us in 7-10 business days.” We paid for the sectional in full back in May. Now we are without living room furniture AND don’t have our very expensive investment back to purchase another one for at least two more weeks. Needless to say, we are beyond disappointed with this entire process. We would definitely not recommend buying anything from their store unless you can take it home with you that same day!
