We were so happy when we bought our bedroom suite, and super happy when they said it was to be delivered in 1-3 weeks. That was the start of July. We are now on September 20th and I just received the furniture. Every time you get someone on the phone they are complete jerks. I had one lady hang up the phone on me. I will NEVER buy from this place again, and I still have to buy more furniture for our new home. I regret walking into this store, so take this into mind. You won’t receive good customer service or your product in time.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley store furniture very bad quality I received of my sectional sofa I receive a broken piece call guardian to fix it they refused it and also the store refuses to fix aswell. I had a horrible experience with Natalia when purchasing in store we let her know we would look at some more furniture because we didn’t feel secure with buying this sectional but we felt pressured by her. She said it was a 4 recliner and recibe 3 recliner came in and talk to her and she just said we had to paid for an extra one. She said we had cleaning service for cleaning the sectional and she lied.

Dothan store has great people.. Make sure to read the fine print when buying furniture once it's in your house for 3 days they will not take it back no matter the problem. Bridgett in the warranty dept has the worst attitude also get warranty or you are out of luck with problems be going since 01/ 24 until present waiting. Please people that know me don't buy from Ashley Furniture. I have never been done so wrongly.

The buying experience was great the sales team was great. However I've been calling the store for 4hrs and the line is constantly busy. The corporate number is useless the person Chris who answered the phone didn't know how to get ahold of a supervisor so they could email, call or text the store manager to make them aware of the issue. I am driving over an hour now to cancel the order and buy from a competitor.

Poorly made couch & chair..bought Guardian 5 yr warranty & they won't cover the problem either.The manager Grady would not even talk with me when I called.Once you have made the purchase--they are done with you, even though they say customers are important to them.(I had to do a star rating to post--I would give them a - 0)

The beautiful recliner was delivered and assembled one week from purchase by three courteous gentlemen who were kind and efficient. I am grateful.

Natalia greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in. She was dressed so professional and the atmosphere of the store made us feel welcome. Looking back they were making sale price which was actually real price. If you look on reviews on there page or do ur research u will see Ashley’s has actually been sued quite a bit for this. I bought in feb. they told me it was top of line resisted stains well they were told I was in my recliner on a heating pad almost 19 to 20 hours a day could it resist. They swore it could even the manager it was the greatest newest material nothing could mess it up. Well a little yellow stain showed up I called for someone to fix took a month but my seat cover finally got here 2 months later I ask I why it hadn’t been repaired by this time heating pad had burned hole in it. They said work order showed completed so I had to place another bc no one had been here the guy had called at 430 one afternoon and ask to come between 8-11 the next morning I told him I had appt with wound care. Well he comes out to fix finally and said something was wrong with the mechanism he didn’t let recliners up and down all he did was glance at it and take pic of burn and say he would cover when he put mechanism in that was soposssed to take a few days took 3 weeks still no date when there coming to fix. Now I paid $2000 for a couch $2000 for a love seat and $1000 for a warranty. The warranty kicked in after Ashley’s one year. Joke. They have sent me the cover and mechanism and now tell me I willl have to pay to have seat covered. Or call guardian the warranty company well Ashley already paid for supplies. But guardian is sopossed to fix. Ashley is a joke I wouldn’t buy a throw pillow from them ever again. Be cautious before u fall into there trap the manager was talking to me and in mid conversation says Ashley I got to go I got and emergency inside the store I got a go got to go call u back click

ADDITION: The in store service was exception the only reason i edited my review was because of my delivery experience.They origionally had me scheduled for wenesday at 1pm through 4 pm i had made sure i was off work for these hours. I then get a text at 9:50am saying it will be delivered in an hour. I was stuck at work and luckily was able to leave and come back. Its unfortunate they dont take peoples life into consideration when it comes to delivery. They only deliver 1 day a week to my area and you cant pick a time frame they pick it for you and then its not guarenteed they abide by that time frame.

The Ashley delivery people arrived to deliver our new Ashley couch. They were very polite and set the box on my porch. I offered them a $20 tip each if they would set it in my living room. They politely declined saying they couldn't on drop-ship deliveries and they had gotten in trouble for doing it in the past. Very understandable and I was disappointed but not upset. Where it went bad was when they opened the doors to get in their truck they both burst into laughter,  I assume from the thought of me with a heavy couch on my porch and rain moving in. Luckily I was able to un-box it and remove eight bolts from the frame and separate the base into three pieces. At that point I was able move it to the living room. They should have waited until they closed their truck doors to laugh at me. I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again.

My experience with Elizabeth was great. She was wonderful and didn’t pressure me. She was very helpful. I give my in-store experience 5 stars plus! However, the reason I didn’t rate the store 5 stars is because of my experience when scheduling delivery. What happened to good customer service and trying to accommodate your customer’s schedule? I shouldn’t have to accommodate a preset delivery schedule. They only come to my town one day a week. Because I couldn’t pick my delivery date, I have to take vacation time off work to be available for delivery. Also, when I called back to see if I could be contacted if there was a cancellation, I was told absolutely not. I don’t know what it would hurt to be a bit more accommodating to your customers when it comes to delivery options.

I purchased a leather Man-Den sofa and chair from Ashley’s in Dothan, Al and paid $7000.00 for the set. I told them I expected it to be delivered in the new condition that I ordered and they delivered it later than agreed on and when they set it up one side of the sofa didn’t work. They left it and said they would come back and get it but have not. They said they would bring a new one but insisted on repairing this one. I haven’t been successful getting anything accomplished and still only half of the sofa works properly! I have filed a dispute with their bank but they also said they are waiting for technician to repair before they can cancel contract if they decide to take that route! I have bought lots of furniture from Ashley but this takes the cake! I’m a 67 year old single female on disability with Fatty Liver Cirrhosis possibly Liver cancer in which I will find out May 15th since I just had MRI and CT scan. I think I have enough to worry about excluding this other added to it. Two Months waiting for my new couch!!!

If I could give zero stars then I would. I had the worst experience ever with this Ashley location in Dothan, AL. I received a sofa set and it was damaged and came with a broken piece. I contacted customer serious numerous times in the past three months and they have still not fixed my sofa set or replaced it. Someone came out and they did not fix it at all. When I called customer service again they did not give me a proper response. Someone came out two times to fix the broken piece that was broken when they delivered it. It was damage done by them and they still cannot replace it for me. I contacted customer care and gave them all the information they asked for such as pictures and everything. I cannot believe that we spent so much money for them to just deliver a broken sofa set. I will be taking further action to ensure the issue is fixed but please save yourself the headache and do not buy from this place. This has been the worst experience ever. We have had to wait so long and still have not been able to receive a proper response.

We have always had good service with the products that we have bought from Ashley. The Dothan store has exceptional associates. Their care for my husband and I touched my ❤️. He is fighting stage 4 lung cancer and he needed an electric recliner, they got us taken care of and his chair was delivered 4 days later. So very thankful to Kynesia, you are truly special. I ordered a bedroom suit from Ashley furniture in Dothan al in November 2021. Part of the order (bed and dresser) was finally delivered in January. Well when the delivery men attempted to put together my bed they saw that the rails were broken. They called customer service to informed them and was advised to take pictures of the broken pieces so customer service could order new rails which left my mattress on the floor. I was told that I should receive new rails within 2 weeks.Well I waited patiently from January to march for my rails but when I called Ashley furniture told they never had a request for new rails and it could take up to 8-12 weeks before I would receive anything. Well since then I have been calling weekly about my rails and given different dates every time. As of 26 May 22 I am still waiting on rails and my mattress is still on the floor. I haven’t been ordered any compensation for their negligence and when I went into the store to speak to someone they told me I should have called my sales person like it was my fault no one is doing their job. I advise no one to order from Ashley furniture EVER.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! We purchased furniture in August to furnish a new home that would be completed in October. Furniture came in bits and pieces. The final straw, this is April 29. We JUST got what I thought was a final piece on an entertainment center, but it is not. We are STILL missing a shelf. This entertainment center has come in multiple deliveries. First, the console section came with no hardware for shelving. MONTHS later, the end-piece bookcases came except that one was damaged. We sent it back. Waited several more months for new ones. They finally came. Great, but we were still missing hardware and bridge. Hardware was finally shipped. Bridge just came yesterday. Now, we are missing one shelf to complete the ensemble. Who does that? I’m beyond angry. I have always given Ashley my business, but I will no longer be patronizing this establishment. Don’t even think about calling customer service either. They are a joke. They have no information to offer you, only standard apologies.

service in store is good, delivery guys are great, but it takes forever to get your furniture. I ordered a secectional 15 weeks ago and have only gotten half of it and can't seem to get the other half and keep getting the run around every time I call. yet I was told I would have it by now. now they are telling me few more weeks and they don't even know that for sure.

The selection was not great for the prices. It was ok. The staff was ok. We had to wait awhile for staff to talk to us and were given the feeling that we were not wanted in the store.

Found a couch online. Went in and ordered it. Done. Out in 30 minutes. That was my review after just dealing with sales. I had no idea what I had in store in the future with this company. Sales is fine, delivery is fine. However scheduling and customer service is the worst. I had NUMEROUS attempts to schedule partial deliveries even though I specified at the time of the order that I will NEVER accept partial deliveries. I get texts with the only option is CONFIRM partial delivery and I have to spend 20 to 45 minutes on hold to speak with customer service to have the partial delivery NOT scheduled. Then 2 days later it happens AGAIN! And again! And Again! Numerous attempts to do a partial delivery. Customer service and scheduling threaten to give away the partial delivery to another customer. I tell them to do it. And not that nice. Then I get a reprieve from the texts only to start up again later. I have spent HOURS on the phone with customer service and they just don't read or honor the No Partial Deliveries agreement. And tell me they CAN'T stop the attempts. Ashley had made my NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN list.

The corporate of is a joke. As well. I waited 8 motnths for a foot board and never received it. In the mean time I had a head board and rails leaned up against my window. Do not buy from them. I returned the items.

This was as low pressure of a sales experience as we could hope for. Mo and Megan were incredibly patient with us and our easily distracted and incredibly bored 5 year old. When we first arrived, we met with Mo, but we’re quickly intercepted by the manager, Megan. We later found out that it was because Mo was already juggling four separate clients and Megan was helping with the rush. That speaks volumes to us, making sure that there’s enough coverage for the rush that customers have adequate access to someone who can help. They were upfront about delivery challenges and delays, ensuring that we had reasonable expectations when it comes time to get our furniture delivered. They went over the different financing options available and didn’t pressure us into one, instead letting us decide which one we wanted to use for ourselves. At no point were we flustered or uncomfortable throughout the process. You know how you always feel like you need a shower after talking with a car salesman? This was not that. We are happy to enter into a business relationship with this location and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend our sales people to anyone who asks.

Ordered a dining room set in November. Was told it would be delivered in a week but the delivery charge was outrageous. So choose to have it drop shipped and we would put it together. 2 monthes later and we are still waiting. Called and was told it could take up to 4 monthes for shipping. Are you kidding me! If i had paid the 500.00 delivery and set up fee it would have been here in a week. And was over charged! Never deal with them again.

I must say how impressed I was with the customer service from Natalia Proell at the Ashley store in Dothan, AL. She was very professional, patient, and personable. No matter how many questions my husband and I asked (and there were many) she never seemed irritated or hurried when answering them. She was super thorough and did everything she could to make sure that we were satisfied including finding discounts on the furniture we purchased. At a time where most people are frustrated and complaining about everything, I rarely see posts about the good service that people provide, so I just had to say how much I appreciated the excellent service that Natalia extended to me. If you’re looking to buy furniture from Ashley’s in Dothan Alabama, I highly suggest that you request Natalia Proell to be your agent.

AWFUL customer service!!!!

Ordered a bed in March 2021. Supposed to be delivered and set up within the next two to three weeks. Two months later I call to inquire. They have a headboard but not the footboard and rails. Two months later I call again. Footboard and headboard arrived. No rails yet. Three months later I finally get a message to set up delivery. Bed is delivered, bolts are missing. I am advised it should take 3-5 days to get the bolts. Two weeks later I finally get the bolts. A month later, the very nice young man comes to put the bed together. The wrong brackets are on the rails. So, again, here I am….bed parts in an extra bedroom and my own bed with just bare mattresses, no bed frame and no idea when this saga will end. Ashley…get your act together.

We ordered a bedroom furniture set in July of 2021 with an expected arrival date of October 2021. We received a partial delivery of the dressers, headboard and footboard in October. We received the mirror for the dresser in November, but it was the children's sized mirror. Not the full sized mirror that we ordered. Here we are end of November and the company STILL can not give me a delivery date for the rest of the bed. While I can understand that every company is delayed right now, we were promised to have the full set by October. Had we had known it would be 4 plus months and counting, and we would have to go this long without a bed, we'd have never ordered. We are still required to pay for the nonexistent bed. Just be advised, their wait time is MUCH longer than they tell you in store.

I called Ashley Furniture to see about purchasing a couch, Ashley was so very sweet, text me pictures of the couch that was in my price range, stayed late to meet me because i didnt get off work before she did! Her customer service was ON point!! All the ladies I spoke to when I went in to purchase the couch were nice, friendly and very sweet! I will go back for future purchases!

We were told that it could take up to 12 weeks for delivery “but would more than likely not take nearly this long.” Customer service has been absolutely useless in all of this. We are now 12 weeks out from our purchase date without our sectional. They are unable to tell me when the remaining pieces will come in - “there is no way for them to know” is what they continue to tell me. We are now trying to get our money refunded, and we are being told it has to go through “proper channels after the forms are filled out, and someone will contact us in 7-10 business days.” We paid for the sectional in full back in May. Now we are without living room furniture AND don’t have our very expensive investment back to purchase another one for at least two more weeks. Needless to say, we are beyond disappointed with this entire process. We would definitely not recommend buying anything from their store unless you can take it home with you that same day!

There are time in life when you purchase something and go through the hassle of rude customer or lack of attention. Well I purchased a table from Ashley Home store in Dothan AL and interact with Makesia Edwards. She was an amazing sales person, thorough, friendly, knowledgeable about her products, and professional. It was the best experience I have had when purchasing furniture in a long time. If there is a path to promotion she should be promoted, and be used as the customer service trainer for your staff.

No customer service

I have been a customer of Ashley for years I have NEVER had an issue like this. We went in Saturday to make changes to an order cooperate called within an hour to approved the changes. I was told to come back in Monday to get a new invoice on the corrections. I went in around 1130 went to customer service desk spoke to Briann she was unable to find my order the STORE MANAGER was sitting next to her got attitude with her because she was looking in wrong place. At this time I was unware she was the store manager it was straight attitude Ma'am what do you need? I explained to her about the changes and was told to come in for new invoice on charges. She replied well they haven't been made to your account. I told her cooperate had called Saturday to make changes she replied there not her. Briann told her she found the emails where thet made changes. Why didn't she look? She said well I will correct it asking me well what do you want to keep? I told her AGAIN the changes that we made. I asked her to look after she got thru to see if the system had updated new shipment day. I guess I hit a nerve she said I can't tell you that. I said well they just told me Saturday on dates on some of the stuff well we can't do that. I asked for her manager that's when I learned she was the STORE MANAGER (SHE IS FAR FROM MANAGER MATERIAL) I told her she has had an attitude since I walked in the door so now ya'll got the money you can't tell me when I will be getting my furniture? At this point I had enough and told her I wasn't spending my money were isn't wasn't appreciated that I wanted a REFUND then she started being all nice saying YES MA'AM saying she was sorry. I said it's too late to be nice now, do you see how much money your store just lost? (OVER $5,000) She replied yes ma'am I replied let this be a lesson learned but I will not be back in there until Rose calls me and tells me she's back....

I was very impressed with the friendliness and the knowledge of the items in the store. Kim Andersen did an excellent job showing me what I asked for and recommendations she made. She was very friendly and my sister and I really enjoyed doing business with her. I had looked around and she the most pleasant sales person we met. She answered all my questions and if she was in any doubt she would double check all information. I will tell others to check Ashley's first. THANK YOU KIM ANDERSEN !!!!

Absolutely no followup or follow through with service delivery. If you need a service technician, forget about it. Been waiting a month, and still no call back for a scheduled time. Each time we call their scheduling number, it is the same response, "Someone will call you back to schedule a time" It has yet to happen after weekly calls over 4 weeks. Pathetic.

This is by far the worse experience I have ever had. I bought a bedroom set and spend over 4000 dollars. First it took almost 6 months to get all of the furniture. This store called my multiple time stating all my furniture was at the store. When I arrived they didn’t have all of the furniture. I wasted my time make multiple trip even after I specifically asked them to check to make sure all of the furniture was there. Also after bringing home some of the furniture the chest of drawer were broken. They told me they would send someone out to fix it with no charge. The sent me new tracks for the drawers. When I called them to let them know the parts were here so they could send someone out they were going to charge me after they told me they wouldn’t since it was broken from the start. They have the worst customer service. I will Never ever buy something from Ashley’s Furniture again!!!!

The worst experience ive ever had.. Can i get a negative 5 star rating. so we were suppose to have our dining table that came with 6 chairs and our 2 barstools delivered. So the first delivery came with the dining table 3 chairs and 1 barstool.. called the store to find out why and they told us the order was put in wrong so now we have to wait. Set up a new delivery date, they get here they have 3 barstools call them again they put order in wrong again. Set up new delivery date they come with 2 barstools and our server table. Call again to find out why we cant get our 3 dining table chairs that come with the set we bought, come to find out wrong order put in again. So set up new delivery date and guess what.. yep wrong again so by now im fed up call the store and its a run around for 3 days.. so i finally get a call back and its the girl who messed my order yp when we bought it. Told me it wasnt her fault after i told her i didnt wanna talk to her cause she is the reason this is going on. Big argument goes on. So finally after 3 months and 2 weeks i finally get my 3 chairs.. im not happy at all i will NEVER shop here again..

Horrible customer service. Terrible communication. They promise they will call and never do. Been waiting 4 months for furniture ordered and when we finally went to pick it up, a piece was missing. Assistant manager blamed it on the Warhouse and the warehouse said there were 2 sent to the store...guess someone else needed the piece more. Long time customer, however will never do business with again.

Ordered furniture 2 months ago. Was told it would be here October 10th. After waiting two months and getting rid of my old furniture i called on 10th and they said it was back order and didn’t know when it would be here.

I have been trying to call customer service for hours. No one will answer or return calls. I am still waiting for a sales person in the local store to return my call. I have damaged and missing furniture that I cannot get help with! Do not buy furniture from this company! I would rather go to Walmart!

I ordered a bedroom set before labor day. I was told it would be delivered Oct 2. I was fine with that. I called Monday to check on delivery. I was told that delivery would be on set date. I have sold my old set to be picked up from a friend who is driving from Birmingham to pick it up Friday. I got a TEXT message that a dresser and mattress was not in shipment Thursday! I went to the Dothan store to ask about this and explain my situation. I was told no one could help me but the person that sold the furniture to me. He was out sick. I would have to call back Friday morning at 10 to speak with him. I called the corporate office and was basically told the same thing. No could tell when delivery would be on Friday or when the rest of furniture would arrive. Now I will not have a bed to sleep in for who knows when. I am not able to cancel my deal because my friend already rented a uhaul and is down here with family to pick up my old set. So you Ashley Furniture are telling me that NO ONE in the store can help me but the sales person from a month ago! Bad business!! Absolutely ridiculous! This needs to be corrected!!

Great customer service at the store and exceptional delivery service as well. In both instances took time to ensure that everything was how we wanted. Will definitely buy from them again.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. You have to call for days in order to get to an actual person. When you leave a voicemail (for them to call you back in 48-96 hrs) they call over a week later. On top of that they have the wrong order pulled up and then hang up on you and don’t even call you back! I will NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture again.

I only received half my order. When I call to try to find out what happened the manager will not call me back. She’s trying to blame my salesman for the mistake when I can look at the invoice and it wasn’t his fault. Ended up calling the Regional Manager because the store manager wouldn’t talk to me. Got the rest of my order ordered. 6 weeks later and still haven’t received the missing items.

They keep rescheduling my delivery, first it was 2 weeks, then 5 weeks, and they just called me today two days from delivery saying it'll now be another 2 weeks. The furniture I ordered was nice but this is ridiculous. I told them if they have to reschedule again just to give me a refund. I will not be purchasing from here again.

I went in yesterday with family to pick out a new couch set. We dealt with Carmen who was really nice . She told us multiple times the set I picked would be delivered in no less than 2 weeks . That’s why I ordered from here instead of anywhere else because the delivery time was much faster . Well today it was ordered and I’ve been told the delivery date to my house is now May 27th. Exactly a month and two days from now . I still bought the piece because no where else in Dothan had the light gray color and style I wanted but Ashley , but you probably shouldn’t assure customers things will be in in a certain period of time if you don’t know for sure . You should be checking first . That’s why I shopped at Ashley in the first place was because I thought the product would arrive quickly as I was told it would .

On the phone for 4 hours today to place an order and still have to call back tomorrow

I bought some furniture at Ashley and I admit the furniture is beautiful but when the furniture arrived at my home it was defect. I called them about it and they reordered it and came back to my home defect. I will not buy furniture from them again. The furniture looks used. A family member of mine experience the same thing. Be aware looks isn't everything the furniture is used. I should of listen when rumors that I heard said don't buy from Ashley Furniture.

I ordered a makeup vanity on December 27, 2019. I was told the vanity would take two weeks to come in. About three weeks after I ordered it, I never heard anything. I finally called them and they informed me it would be another two weeks. The vanity finally came in the week of February 3, 2020. I picked up the vanity, took it out of the box and it was damaged. I would give this store a zero if that were possible. I ordered furniture in January with delivery slated for late February. Went to check on the order status yesterday, and they couldn't find the order. Just gave me a number to call. Extremely poor customer relations. I shouldn't have to track down my furniture. I asked about a refund, and got the same response - sorry, but call that number. Will never ever do business with this company again.

Poor customer service. I visited this store on January 25, 2020 to purchase a bedroom set and a separate chest of drawers. No one greeted me as a walked in the store. As I walked around and looked at some pieces, two employees walked past me without offering any assistance. Needless to say I did not make a purchase.

I ordered a couch from Ashley’s in Dothan,Al on November 30th. It is now January 25th and I still have yet to get my couch delivered. I have talked to multiple managers and I have got nothing but the run around. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because my sales Associate, Greg was fantastic. I ordered bedroom furniture from Ashley’s of Tallahassee and got my furniture delivered without any problems 2 weeks later. Definitely will be taking all of my business to Tallahassee,Fl from now on

There was this lady by the name of Natasha and she was trying to take care of 5 of use at one time. Never one time did I feel neglected. Our purchase included a bed( HB, FB, & rails), dresser, chest, and 2 night stands. The furniture shipped faster than promised but delivery kept us waiting over 2 hours, we were promised first 9am delivery because we both had appointments that morning. First night sleeping on the bed ( actually, we had just gotten into bed) and the rails BROKE!!!! The mattresses HIT THE FLOOR....RAILS AND SLATS BROKEN!!! They have ordered new rails (2 weeks of waiting) and hopefully it will be fixed. The furniture is beautiful but I’m not confident in the quality at this point. I will update my post when the issue is resolved.

Not happy at all with delivery service. Was told that possible to get delivered within 10 working business days but at worse case the week of March 23rd. At no point was I contacted and told that it was not in stock and would not even get to warehouse until the 28th and would be approximately the first week of April before I receive. I am highly upset that this was not disclosed at time of purchase. I would not have bought if I had known it would take this long. I would not recommend purchasing from them if you want to have full disclosure and expect to get in a timely matter. I bought because I thought I was going to get in a resonable time.

I was totally dissatisfied with the services at the Ashley store here in Dothan Al. Completely unorganized and just care for making a sale, and not upfront with the customer. Other than that I would like to thank Mark for fixing the issue.

We have bought several pieces of furniture from here including a full bedroom suite. Our buying experience was fantastic but we have called multiple times about getting a piece of furniture fixed under the warranty and never got a call back. I'm not sure if we will be back for our next purchase or go somewhere else.

Rosemarie at the DOTHAN store was so great to work with. After she helped me find the perfect chair I ordered it in brown. A few days later I changed it to gray. She was so sweet about my change.
