Jessica stayed with us for the long haul. After several stores, nana found her new sectional.

Sofa is really stiff and uncomfortable. The sofa in store was nice and cushions o it in store were very relaxed and comfortable. I offer to let them give me the floor model and they could take this new one to put in store. That way the next customer would know the real feel of the sofa. They said no so I’m stuck with this sofa for a few years and hopefully by then it will be soft like the one in store.

I have to brag on Ashley and the two awesome ladies that helped me with everything. Aeren and Amy were amazing. I have looked for months for the perfect modular sectional that was dog and kid proof (machine washable). I almost bought one a few different times online and I am SO glad I never did. Every single time I would find all kinds of reviews on how delivery took forever, product not as described, damaged product and so on.. I even went to another retailer close by first that actually sells Ashley products discounted and honestly wasn’t impressed. The moment I walked into Ashley I was noticed and offered help. They showed me all of their performance sectionals. I was almost sold on one, and last minute decided to go with another. They were so patient with me and even brought out a tape measure to make sure it was exactly right. I could not be happier. I did wait to write this review to see how delivery went. I received my sofa in the exact time as I was told which was one week. I was notified the day of delivery the exact eta. I will say… the guys that delivered and installed were FAST, but also rough. I just painted all my walls so I was a bit nervous when I seen how they were bringing it in, BUT they did not hurt anything except for one scratch on my door and door frame. I had my sofa set up within 10 minutes. If you are looking for a good life proof modular sectional like I was, I urge you to not fall for the other online stores that advertise these. Go to Ashley.. you will not regret it. I know I’ll be back soon to replace my bedroom furniture. Thank you Aeren and Amy for everything. You guys truly did make this an awesome experience for me!

Will never go back to this store.

Purchased a leather couch. They delivered it, and it was damaged. Brought me a second one, and it was damaged. Brought me a third one, that Im not so sure it wasn't the same one they had delivered the second time, and the armrest was about to come off. The delivery person said they all wobble like that. I refused it and requested a refund. Took a ridiculous amount of time and me getting ugly to get my refund. Never will I purchase anything Ashley again. Poor quality, Unsatisfactory handling of merchandise on delivery, and terrible customer service when it came to getting a refund.

Earlier this week I was in Florence as they have the closest Ashley’s to me. I’m currently redecorating my dining room and need a table. I believe her name was Aeren, was extremely helpful in finding me a table that suited the look I was going for, and was also within my budget. The staff at the Florence Ashley Homestore are clearly trained and educated very well, and I will be back for future purchases.

I bought a set of end tables on 5/3/25, wrote a check and was told I would receive them on 5/8. I called them on the 8th and was told because I wrote a check and it had to clear that it would be the 11th. I called them today and it will be the 22nd before they can be in this area to deliver. I was also told that if I reschedule the delivery there will be a $79 rescheduling fee. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again! 6/4/25 update, as of now I have cancelled the order and I cannot get them to refund my money. The Florence store says they can’t refund my money and the customer service says Florence will have to refund it. I have never dealt with a company as crooked as this one.

Do not recommend! Put a hold on my account for paperwork they should have had me complete at the store and no one called me about it. Tied to schedule a delivery twice and still do not have my furniture that is paid for! It was supposed to be taken care of last week and my furniture was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Called today to confirm and there is still a hold on my account!!!

Ms. Annie at the florence alabama store was really sweet and patient with me. I honestly didn't know what I was looking for just as long as it matched. She ask me a few simple questions about my home life like kids, dog, etc and she said "this is what you want and need" she also seemed to noticed I was looking for something in particular and started talking about other items to which I asked if ashley carried any tv stands that match the living room set I was getting and she just went off about everything she had in stock. To be honest if I had the space the matching dining room set would be going home with me as well. Thank you Ms. Annie for making the process easy because my house could easily have that frat house vibe if not for you.

Horrible customer service. The people weren’t very nice. They had a chair priced for a certain amount and then when we went to purchase they added about $200 on top of that. We ended up going to Barnett and Brown and received excellent service and bought the same exact chair for $300 cheaper!! I would recomended taking your business to Barnett and Brown over Ashley any day. They follow their sticker price.

Worst customer service I have ever received. I was told one price but that price suddenly changed when it came to the paper work, supposedly didn’t add all the pieces in the total price!!! Should have left then!!! Ordered furniture in January. Was told that it would in 3 to 5 weeks it would be in. 8 weeks later I received a text that I needed to schedule a delivery date. I called and was set up for April 3. Removed all old furniture and was ready for delivery. No one showed. When I called I was told I didn’t have a delivery scheduled and was told she would check into it and call me back. I never received a call back, every time I called and was told they would call me back it never happened. Tina was also checking and she just forgot to call me back and I had to call her. Then Daniel said I could cancel the order and never mentioned a cancellation fee, just said I will take care of it. After many calls was told I would have to pay the fee, even tho they were the negligent party. Highly recommend to not go to the Florence Ashley store!!!!! They pressure people for the good reviews.

Great shopping experience with Ashraf!

We had such a positive experience at the Ashley store in Florence AL yesterday. Our salesperson, Tina, was just excellent. She did everything to accommodate us and help with our decision. No pressure and great prices!

We came in looking for different options of living room furniture. Annie was able to help us find a couch that was not only durable and comfortable, but something with style. She offered us a modular option that met all of our needs.

Very unproffesional and rude. Manager Lakita will not return my calls to handle my situation. Lulu in customer service is the worst person I have EVER dealt with and should not be in charge of anything! She told me there is nobody higher than her to talk to other than the owner and good luck getting in touch with them! I purchased several pieces spending several thousands of dollars and EVERY piece is damaged or broken! Even purchased the extended warranty which was another HUGE mistake! They obviously do not HONOR. I have been trying to get this taken care of since October 2024… it is now April 2025. I will take my losses and relieve myself of any more stress from these leaches. I will NEVER buy anything from ASHLEY again! You ALL suck! Don’t waste your time or money here! I promise you will regret it if you do!

I really needed a power lift recliner & I went to several stores. However, when I first went to Ashley a young man Jamarious helped me and everyone was very courtesy to me. However, it was still out of the price range when I went back the 2nd time I dealt with Ms. Annie she helped me find one that was much more reasonable and also it allowed me to get a 5 year warranty! She has kept me updated on the status of the process of the delivery of the recliner! I felt so welcomed and helped by not only her as well as the whole staff! One additional thing I felt it was a God thing that I ended up working with Ms. Annie because she knew my late Soulmate Tommy Terrell Minor and his family! I highly recommend them to anyone!

This review has been over 2 years in the making as I waited for Ashley to do the right thing. I purchased a bedroom set in September 2022, which cost over $5,000 (paid with cash, even more if we wanted to use a card). As soon as it was delivered and put together, I noticed a bowed rail on the side of the bed, which also had a small hole in the fabric. I immediately notified the store and they told me that this collection was being discontinued. They said Ashley would only be manufacturing remaining orders and replacement parts so they put in an order for a replacement rail. And for the next 2 years, I called and emailed numerous times with no answer about whether I would receive this item up until the last 6 months when they told me there were no more pieces for this bedroom set available, despite being told 2 years ago that they were ordering the replacement. I then asked for a refund of the cost of the rails since they were a line item on the invoice at a cost of $175. I got a call back that they would only offer me a $100 *store credit.* This is not an acceptable alternative given that the brand new furniture was delivered damaged at which time they were notified immediately and I was told they would get me a replacement. I declined the store credit and asked to speak to a manager, of whom I had spoken to about this situation before. She never once called back when she said she was going to and in fact, she never called me back at all after my last call. I then was contacted by the shipping department who miraculously found a set of rails after 2 years! This seemed fishy but I told them to deliver them anyway. Low and behold, we opened them today as we are reassembling the bed in a new bedroom and THEY ARE DAMAGED TOO! These damaged even worse! There is a huge chunk of wood missing from the corner and the slats look like they have been used. I don't know what funny business happened over those two years but these are not brand new rails- it's almost as if they were returned damaged from someone else because there's no way a brand new set would have appeared out of thin air after 2 years. Now I'm stuck with damaged rails, no refund for the damaged goods, and there's no way they are making more of these. I have spent countless hours on the phone with the store and the shipping department and it is one of the worst customer experiences of my life. The company should be ashamed for giving people a run around after investing such a large amount of money into a purchase. I should have gone with my gut and ordered from Pottery Barn, it actually wasn't that much more expensive. The furniture would have been higher quality and the customer service better. Absolutely my last purchase at Ashley and beware to all you potential customers out there.

Had a horrible experience. I went in alone to browse and see what prices were on a certain selection of furniture. The salesman was helpful at first, but was dismissive of my budget and made a rude comment about this not being the thrift store when I mentioned that what he was showing me was out of my budget. Before I left, he stood over my shoulder as I wrote a positive Google review he asked me to write. I will not be returning to this store.
