I was greeted on arrival by Ray and his bright smile. It was obvious right off that he was not your average pushy salesperson. 😁 Ray quickly showed me several pieces inline with what I was looking for and made suggestions of other options, showed my several clearance items as well. Ray promptly sent me the quote with my items of interest as requested. Only downside is all items on my wish list take 6-12 weeks for delivery.

I would highly recommend this Ashley location to anyone looking for new furniture. The selection is very impressive and the staff are kind and helpful. Mr. Ray helped me look through options for a very specific item, was helpful in figuring out final pricing and fabric options and was not pushy or overbearing at all. Initially my wife and I showed up on a Thursday afternoon about an hour before closing time and met our sales associate, David Clower. He was more than patient with us as we shopped for a sectional. He was very knowledgeable and informative as we trekked across the store, investigating all of the many options. We (my wife) are very particular, lol. We were able to gain all of the information we needed and went home that evening to ensure the sectional we like was what we really wanted. We came back that Sunday and ended up purchasing our sectional. He was so pleasant to deal with that we ended up picking out a chair and a half with an ottoman and a new mattress for our son. The Fultondale location was a wonderful experience. From the calm and relaxed atmosphere and the spacious layout to the sales staff that didn't put any pressure on you and were always available to answer any questions or point you in the right direction. The employee who assisted me, Angela, helped by showing a range of chairs that both met my requirements and a few that strayed beyond and it was one of the latter that I settled on for my purchase. This is an easy store to recommend and I can't wait to take delivery of my new chair.

Angela Rice was extremely helpful while my wife and I were in Ashley’s buying an adjustable mattress and frame. She was patient with us and showed us all options. She made the buying process simple.

If zero stars was an option, I would give them the rating. The entire process has been unprofessional from the very beginning. First the sales clerk adds insurance to my entire order without asking or notifying me prior to purchase. Working with customer care has been just as bad. My order was first delivered with the a hole in the couch. Once I requested a new couch, it came without the correct cushion. This has been going on since April! Now I have to wait another two weeks for a cushion! I’ll never purchase furniture here again!

I visited the Fultondale location today to look at couches just to get a general idea of what I would like for my new apartment. The store have a lot of different options, Which was very helpful to allow me to determine what I liked, and what I did not like. The reason I gave three stars is because when I initially entered the location, no one greeted me, and I walked around aimlessly for several minutes before I was acknowledged. When I finally was acknowledged, the young lady said that I was with the gentleman that entered the store several minutes earlier than me, although me and The God never interacted at all. That was a little rude and neglectful in my opinion as a customer however, I ended up guiding myself through the store just fine. I really only visited to test out some different style as far as softness and fabric, so if I choose to get a couch from Ashley, I will most likely be completing my purchase online.

I sincerely hope others don’t make the same mistake of shopping with Ashley Furniture. I’m extremely disappointed with the service my grandmother received at Ashley Furniture in Fultondale. When she placed her order, she was told she would have 24 hours to exchange anything she wasn’t satisfied with. As soon as her sofa and loveseat were delivered, she realized the loveseat was too large for her space. She immediately called the number provided and was told a manager would contact her. It’s now been over three weeks, and she still hasn’t heard a word back. She has been more than reasonable—willing to pay a restocking fee and accept in-store credit—but despite multiple attempts to follow up, no one has returned her calls. Had we known this would be the level of service, she never would have chosen to shop at Ashley in the first place.

Had the best customer service with Katy and Steven at the Fultondale location. They were knowledgeable, patient with the hundreds of questions I felt we asked, and super helpful.

The store in Fultondale is the worst. If you buy any product or furniture there, don't plan on returning. At risk, buy as is.

I currently had Mr. Isaias as my salesman and he was more than great. Would definitely recommend going to Ashley Furniture and asking for Isaias.
