Bought a couch in January. Showed them a picture of the one I wanted. The picture was exactly the way we needed couch. Wait 4 weeks for it to be delivered and it backwards of the way we needed it. They said It was our fault and waived delivery fee but charged 100.00 restock fee. Waited another 4 weeks and upon delivery it is damaged. We refused delivery. Waited a week this time the driver gets lost and can not make delivery. We are still without a couch and not one person I talked to seems to care. My family has no where to sit. We sold the old couch and it was picked the night this one was to be delivered. So we bought a couch in January and we still waiting on couch. I do not recommend them. I asked numerous times how they make right nothing they don’t care they been paid so it don’t matter to them.

I would highly recommend avoiding Ashley Furniture in general, but especially this Fultondale location. Our sales agent, who now no longer works there, lied to us and ordered the wrong parts for our couch, and even when we questioned their drawing perspective on the document, they reassured us it was how we wanted it. After a month of waiting, we saw the mistake they had made during the delivery process and refused delivery. We called same day and went to the store to resolve this but this led to even more waiting on our part with no follow through from their Store Manager. If I had not been persistent in calling them, they would've ignored me and kept the product as well as the money. Eventually the Assistant store manager tried to help us by saying they would waive the fees and only charge us an extra $200 delivery fee despite this fault being on their part when their sales agent misled us and continually misled us when we questioned what they were ordering. Finally, the Assistant store manager told me to call back by today for a word on a resolution, I did. The store manager told me to hold on a sec and almost immediately, in true Ashley Furniture customer care fashion, transferred me to their Tuscaloosa store location, which is a normal store and not a corporate or dispute location. Do not order from these used car sales men. Remember, if it's their fault, they'll say people mistakes but foot you a bigger bill whether you decide to keep the order active or cancel it. Very unreputable people to deal with and I'm shocked they even have positive reviews at all. Save your money and avoid big box locations like them

I would honestly tell everyone to think twice before buying from Ashley. The mattress I bought and ordered is not the one they gave me. I went to the store to check it and the mattress base was defective. After 7 days I went and they say that nothing can be done. Because of their policy, but if I have to pay for something that was not useful, I regret having bought my furniture from Ashley. I would honestly never go back.

Katy Belle helped me decide on a mattress at Ashley furniture Fultondale, Al. She was bubbly, friendly and helpful. She was ultra knowledgeable about the features and benefits of several types of mattresses including a mattress that was soft on one side and firm on the other., and another that keeps you cool if you are a hot sleeper. She also knew which mattresses were better for side sleepers or back sleepers. Kudos to the store management for having such knowledgeable and helpful employees. She gets 5 stars from me!

David was very helpful salesman. I updating my review. We ordered this couch took 4 weeks to get the couch. It came wrong the side was wrong. We was blamed for this as we signed off but we told them just as picture we trusted them. That was our mistake cost us 100.00 to restock get order correct way. Waited another 4 weeks and the couch they bring is damaged. So they take the new and old couch and we are left with nothing to sit on while we wait another 4 weeks for them to bring the couch. I am beyond frustrated. Paid for a couch in January now my family will be stuck sitting in the floor. At least the 1st time they left old couch so we had something until new came this time they took it all with them.

The sales personnel are very accommodating and very friendly.Upon finding the sofa we wanted,my wife ask the sales lady if the fabric would easily show signs of wear.We were apprehensive that the nap of the fabric would beome fuzzy looking,she assured us it would not.After only 1 month of use it looked fuzzy and already has worn spots,as if it had been used for several months.We called customer care and was told there was no warranty on our 1 month old sofa,but they could send us new cushion covers to replace the factory ones,what are we to do about the wear to the sofa arms and back?Not a positive experience,would not consider buying here again !

I have been contacting management and my sales representative about an entertainment center I purchased. Came to shop for a new bed and mattress set. Angela helped us and got us hooked up with a wonderful combination. Excited for the delivery of our new purchase! Update.....so far my adjustable base and mattress have been delivered. The delivery crew had to reschedule my original date and then told me if I was not available when they were, I would be charged a reschedule fee. So I took vacation day 2.....half of my order came....the delivery crew refused to haul off my existing mattress and box springs (it was in my agreement that they would). The other half of my order had to be reordered due to being damaged in a wreck. Not sure that I want it at all now. Salesperson was great! However, the follow through with the delivery service has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I highly advise to pick up your items yourself if purchasing. Now I have to locate a truck and trailer to haul off the mattress and box springs and pay the dump. This WAS NOT PART OF THE AGREEMENT AND IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Also the wind blew part of the box springs over and nearly hit my windows

I came into the store today to look at some sectionals I saw online. I was greeted right away by Bill, who was friendly but overly insistent on helping me. Despite my request to browse and gather my thoughts alone, he followed my friend and me around, talking non-stop and making it hard to focus on the sectionals. I left the store without the information I needed (was the sofa comfortable, is the fabric appropriate) he did show me all the options, his pushy sales tactics and overly helpful demeanor were off-putting. He kept pushing financing even though I clearly stated I was just gathering information for a future purchase. It was uncomfortable, and I felt if I were a man, he might have given me more space. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my furniture.

Awful costumer service. We were over overlooked and lied to. I guess they aren’t accustomed to black couples paying cash. We were told we couldn’t get any help loading our in store purchase. The sale manager Kenny was a butt. That other lady had a smart mouth. We were interested in making more purchases but I want to be treated fairly.
Management was very rude, she told me nobody was there to load my purchase and I could load it myself...Sales manager told me I needed to give a good review because he gave me a discount, my items purchase was on clearance. We had more items we wanted to purchase but we were treated unfair and over looked.. I was very shocked and disappointed at the service we received.

I went to Ashley furniture in Fultondale, Alabama. I spoke with Mr. Kenny and he was excellent. The first time I spoke with him, It was about a month prior to me buying my furniture. He helped me find the couch that I’ve been researching and gave me his card. I came back once I was more settled and had a new place and insisted on speaking with him. From there he walked me around the store and helped me find other items that I inquired about. He even helped me visualize how to decorate my living room, and he was persistent, and insisted on me getting what I like, and not settling for anything less. I will continue to do business with Ashley furniture, especially Mr. Kenny, in the future.

On 03/08/25, my wife and mother-in-law went to look for furniture for my mother-in-law’s bedroom. They were assisted by Kaygen who was great. The next day, 03/09/25, I returned to the store with them to see the furniture they selected, and so my mother-in-law could finalize the purchase of her bedroom set. However, Kaygen was off (again, she did an amazing job working with us). We asked another sales representative to assist us, and he attempted to ask the manager for assistance. We are standing at the counter within earshot and overhear the manager make the statement, “I don’t have time for this,” while sitting at the computer with another employee. The sales representative who was trying to get us some help with this situation glanced over at us apologetically before making his way back over to us to let us know we can return when Kaygen was back in store. We have had great experiences with Ashley Furniture in Fultondale, and would hate to see this location go downhill due to unsatisfactory service.

Absolute horrible experience with the delivery team and system. I ordered a bedroom set at the beginning of the month, and the expected delivery date was 01/16 between 8am-11am. This is no fault of the seller or the team, but my delivery was canceled due to the ice on the roads. My delivery time was simply copy and pasted to the next day. I took the day off work so I wouldn't be charged a "rescheduling" fee. Around 10am I checked the tracker to see where the delivery team was and saw that my delivery had once again been rescheduled to 1pm-4pm. I was never contacted about a new time, and I missed a whole days' worth of pay due to lack of communication from Ashley. Not only was my time pushed back, but I was also notified that they may be running 1-2 hours behind. I finally get a call at 6:30pm asking if I was able to take the delivery because the team was enroute and was 30min away. When the team finally arrived at 7pm, they began unloading furniture and started bringing up the headboard and the dresser. Not only did they bring up the wrong headboard, but they also had no idea what I had even ordered. I was asked to come down to the truck and point out what was mine as well as show them pictures, so they knew what to look for. After finally getting what they "assumed" was my furniture inside they began assembling. They attempted to attach a Queen footboard to a Full headboard so now it looks something like this: / \. After 45 min of them just staring at it, one of the gentlemen decides now it's a good time to call someone about what to do. I was simply told that I would be contacted about setting up a new delivery date to hopefully get it right this time. They carried out all the wrong parts and left. Around 845pm, there was a knock on my door from the delivery team asking if I had jumper cables because their truck died. I apologized and said that I did not have any. Once again, I closed my door. Now around 9pm, there was a knock on my door again. The delivery team asked if I could take them to a gas station so they could get some diesel fuel for the truck. Its 11 degrees outside, and they are stranded in a delivery truck with no gas at 9pm, of course I said I would help. Turns out they don't have a gas can and they ask if I can drive them somewhere to buy a gas can, take them to a gas station so they can put 5 gallons in it, store it in my trunk, and take them back to their delivery truck. I know 2 things to be certain: 1) I'm out $800 and still don't have a bed 2) I will never shop here again

Was quoted 300$ for 2 barstools but only got 1. Each stool was 120 so when the total came out to 280$ with shipping I was very pleased… UNTIL I received only 1 barstool and looking back at the paperwork we paid 130$ in shipping for 1 barstool. NOT HAPPY. Aerin was a very nice associate but we were completely misled and was told our entire total would have been 300$ FOR 2 BARSTOOLS. My wife and I just bought our first home and are new to everything when buying furniture, so if this is your first time DONT GO HERE. You will be lied to.
We ordered 2 barstools last week and we very clearly stated we needed 2 barstools several times to Aerin. Delivery was today and we only got one barstool. We checked the paper and realized only 1 was put down and we were charged over $100 for a delivery fee. We were not disclosed that information, we were told it would be $274.98 for two barstools and delivery charge would be included. If I would have known delivery was that much and only 1 barstool was wrote down, I would have canceled the order. Ridiculous.
Kenny was AMAZING!!! I went in to view furniture for our new home, returned to store with my significant other and he took care of us (he even waited on us 15 mins right before closing)! He was very knowledgeable and helpful, we will always return to this location from now on. Kenny, we can’t thank you enough!!!! Highly recommended!

Came in looking for a blanket ladder. After having to track down a sales person who is clearly dodging people who are looking around… I asked about blanket ladders, and the sales person didn’t know what that was, so I told them. Then your sales person told me that I would have better luck going to target. Then one of the other sales persons who wasn’t very eager to help also told us they are online only. Weirdest experience ever. Never seen sales people clearly dodge people, and tell you to take your money elsewhere even after realizing you sell the product we were looking for. No wonder you’ve “went out of business” like 6 times now.

Horrible customer service!!! I was there for over an hour and the entire experience was disgraceful!! The sales representative doesn’t need to be on the sales floor, hes clearly inexperienced and not in the adequate position. He is not helpful in any capacity. After deciding to purchase, I let him know I want two seperate transactions— he ends up messing something up and doesn’t know how to properly explain what happened—which ultimately caused more frustration!! The whole store needs a customer service training class or new staff! I will never give this location my business again!

Delivered a new sofa with a 3 inch hole in the arm. Waited few more weeks for replacement. Did not deliver on the scheduled day. Customer service messing around saying they "cant hear you" and hanging up (and I was being nice, not even raising my voice). Replacement sofa also delivered with a rip. The second delivery crew spoke zero english, were angry because they got their truck stuck in a parking lot, and proceeded to lay the unwrapped sofa on the cement. Avoid Ashley if you wish to avoid a 2 month ongoing hassle (bought in mid July, the second (ripped) sofa delivered Sept 15th). Still waiting for customer service to call back regarding the rip. Just a garbage, garbage company with horrible customer service.

I walked in the store 30 minutes before closing. I was there almost 2 hours. AAlijah was very patient, knowledgeable and more than helpful in assisting me to purchase a sectional sofa with chaise. Afterwards he tagged Kerry, who helped me to figure out the best route for payment. Sales team was excellent is the only reason for the one start. My issue is with the owner of this independent store who does not stand behind his products. Me and my husband purchased a $1800.00 dining set for our new home. I agreed to pick it up as we were unsure when we would close on our home. I picked up the set from bessemer warehouse and the table itself was re-wrapped because I was told it was mis delivered to another client but no damage and wrapped back up immediately. Chairs were all in unopened boxes. We unwrap the table and to our surprise the top was cracked and starting to peel. Also one of the rivets pulled completely from the chair leg making it unstable to sit in. We immediately phoned the store manager who requested pictures and I emailed directly to him within 3 days of us picking up the furniture. This was August 2022 and we have been back and forth with no resolution to date other than last email sent december 13th stating my request for equal swap was denied but they would do repairs in the shop and someone would be in touch with me in 5-7 days. They must have meant 5-7 months. With this type of customer service I will never refer or shop at this location again. I am currently speaking with an attorney and will pursue in small claims court as this is completely unethical. I can see if i was attempting to get something for free i just simply want qualify furniture that i was made to assume i was buying.
Stopped in trying to get a feel of my vision, Jada and Chris were extremely helpful with suggestions and ideas. I didn’t feel pressured while interacting with them. Definitely will be going back

I visited the fultondale location on 2/2/23. Saw some tables I feel in love with took pictures of them so I could remember what I saw. Picking up the furniture went well but I feel scammed by Ashley furniture. DO NOT buy a protection plan, it's not worth it. I've dealt with the worst customer service possible. Ashley furniture sends you to an outside source only for them to tell you to contact Ashley furniture. When they finally tell you how to file a claim and you file it, you get no response. I've been waiting for months for someone to respond to our claim and nothing. I wish i had never wasted my money.

Disappointed in the service and follow trough of promises made after waiting patiently for 6 months to receive the items I paid thousands of dollars for.
Four stars because of Katara and all her hard work (she deserves a solid 5 stars!) Ordered a bedrm suite w/mattress in June of 2021, was told 16 to 20 weeks delivery timeline due to covid/shipping backlog. Everything was still a mess, so I didn't go into this with any unrealistic expectations. 48 weeks later I received my furniture. Almost a year! After zero updates and no indications from management that my bedroom suite was coming - I actually went in the store in early May 2022 to ask the manager for a refund but met Katara instead. She looked up my order and was appalled with what she saw was happening. With a couple of emails and a phone call - my entire bedroom suite was delivered within 2 weeks of speaking with her and it is perfect!
Beware.. The manager lied to us. We bought a sectional and recliner here on September 27. I was told my furniture was in stock, and would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. It wasn't in stock. On Decemebr 17th, almost 12 weeks later, they delivered my recliner and half of my sectional. Why would I want half a sectional? It looks ridiculous. Why wouldn't they wait til it was complete before delivering it?? I called and called, and I either get put on endless hold, or I'm told 'we'll call you back', but no one ever does. I don't know when I'll get the rest of my sectional. *EDIT* The rest of my sectional was just delivered in APRIL. SEVEN MONTHS after purchasing.

Ashley Furniture advertised that they had Furniture in stock. Went there over the weekend and was told that the advertising is false. It would take at least 5 to 6 weeks to get Furniture. Ashley Furniture should be ashamed for reporting that they have Furniture in stock and ready to be delivered. I will not be going back to Ashley Furniture period. If they lie about something like this, what else will they lie about. Shame on you Ashley for lying toget someone to your store!!!

I paid for in full for a couch and loveseat and they ordered it and they said it would be a week or two, 3 weeks went by I call loveseat and table was in but not the couch ,i said just wait and deliver it all at the same time so another couple days passed,and I call again couch came in but not the loveseat,I said y'all told me everything was there but the couch, i said I tell you what, I m coming to get my money back it's been almost 6 weeks I don't won't to fool with this place anymore and then when I get there they couldn't give my money back,and I paid cash ok they said it would have to come from corporate office in about a week,I was furious,I hope no one else has been treated this way. And no one has ever reached out and even said I'm sorry this happened or anything.
The store and products are so nice. It is too bad the follow through on actually having the furniture delivered is sooooo poor. Furniture purchased in July and it is still not received. Evidently the build some of the pieces on a per one order basis. The items that are available still were not delivered. In the these busy life it is difficult to have to keep going to the store and following up.

Horrible service. While I understand COVID considerations my experience was unacceptable. Been waiting more than 7 months now because they keep "reallocating" parts of my order. Being told it takes 2 weeks for a box spring I've now been waiting 2 months for alone.
We had a wonderful experience, they were very good at describing the items we bought, explained the delivery process and a timeline, then gave us a discount to help us out. Our delivery was within the timeline given. Kataruh helped us with tracking our items and delivery date over several weeks. The pandemic slowed the delivery date, however Kataruh explained before we made any selection, so we didn’t waste time shopping, if we didn’t want or couldn’t wait to make our purchases. I recommend Ashley, in Fultondale Alabama to everyone that either needs or wants new furniture.

I have waited on this merchandise for 7 months and i happen to notice my account had been taken out by 50.00 dollars so I got on the phone to see why my account had been deducted when I I have not received the merchandise. I spoke to Mrs Kataruh on October 30 and she did a good job by locating what I order and call me back and told me she could have it delivered on Nov 11 because she didn’t want me to be charge for something I didn’t have in my home. I can truly say that was customer service and thank god for her now I can eat thanksgiving dinner with my knew kitchen set. See Mrs kataruh at fultondale store she will take care of you.
My husband and I walked around this store for at least 20 minutes while the workers sat around or stood around. No one ever asked if we needed helped. It was our first time there and we were looking to buy. Someone told us to have a nice day and thanks for coming when we were leaving, lol. We had a nice day and we plan to go to the furniture store in Hoover next week. Weird.

Awful place to do business multiple times they set up to deliver an ottoman and no one shows no call nothing . Tell me my couch would be in on a specific day never get a call so I call well they change date on that. They just do not do what they say. I would not recommend ashley furniture to no one. Ordered furniture for my sons room back in March I was told it would be 12-16 weeks well that time has been well over and here it is September and I still don’t have no furniture. Dates have been changed without me knowing. My sales person is doing the best she can to get me some answers and I really do appreciate her but management is full of it. Call the store to get some answers no one picks up the phone I don’t see myself ordering from them again at this point just cancel everything
Tried calling this store to see if they carried Flex Steel products. The person who answered didn't know but offered to check and placed me on hold. Within a minute, someone picked up and hung up on me. I called back, someone else answered, I told her who was checking for me and she said she was on another call and placed me on hold. 3 minutes later still no one picked up. I tried calling back but no one answered. If this is the type of customer service you offer, I will take my money elsewhere. I know with a big company like yours that a 3-5K sell may not sound like much or hurt you in a big way but I am sure it will certainly help a smaller company. Thank you for making it easy for me to decide where to better spend my money.
This is my first and very last time I WILL EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY EVER AGAIN. EVER. This has been the worst experience. I've been waiting 4 months for my furniture. I get an email saying my furniture is ready and set to be delivered. So I throw out my bed so they could bring the new one in. I waited 1 day, no bed, no call, no email or anything from them. I call them and get a lady telling me we don't have your bed ready yet we thought we did. It'll be about 2 more weeks. The very next week I get another email scheduled delivery for my bed and I needed to confirm the delivery time. So I confirmed. I waited until 11:40pm before I fell asleep. No bed. I call again I get another excuse about the wrong truck but I was promise by the manager that I would get my bed the very next day. She was making sure if it. Here it is the next day and it's 10:45pm. I still have no bed. I've been sleeping in my couch for 2 weeks. I've sent about 4 emails and I've made at least 8 calls all in just 2 weeks. Still I have no bed and they could care less. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND THE BUSINESS THAT I OWN I WILL NEVER REFER THIS COMPANY TO THEM. WORST DECISION I EVER MADE. If I could give 0 stars or a negative I would.
I bought a very expensive couch and loveseat from Ashley Furniture in Fultondale, Alabama. I was told by the sales person that the couch was in stock and would be delivered in 8-10 days. The loveseat wasn’t in stock and that it would take 16-20 weeks. I was okay with that. Over three weeks later I still don’t have my “in stock” couch. They attempted a delivery to the wrong address. When delivery driver called I gave him the address, but he was lost as a Christmas goose, didn’t even know where my country was!! The service and delivery manager called me, I gave him the address, he said he would call me right back after giving the drivers correct address. Two hours later he still hasn’t called back…and my couch is who knows where!! I called the store, they said they couldn’t do anything and transferred me to the service and delivery dept. I couldn’t talk to the manager, was told I could leave my name and number and she would have the manager would return my call. No call back!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from ASHLEY FURNITURE!!

We buy a couch on a Sunday, it’s clearance, they say it will be delivered within the week. Exactly what we needed. A week goes by, no phone call, no email, nothing. So we call and they messed up the ordering, told us it would be 14-20 weeks. We explain to them that we are getting the couch on the floor. After waiting several minutes they say, we are sorry we messed up you will get it this week. We wait and are told it will be there Wednesday, now we’ll after expected delivery, Wednesday comes and nothing happens and so we call them. Not only do they not know where the couch is, but when we will be receiving it. Take a drive up there just to see if it’s still on the show room. It’s not. It’s in the back. We are told the delivery company messed it up, but it was obviously their fault. Ashley’s is simply full of incompetent people. We waited two weeks for a couch to never come. They blame their system for their lack of competence. I do not leave reviews but they asked for one and this is an honest review. We will NOT be shopping at Ashley’s anymore. I would rather have my furniture falling apart than deal with such horrible customer service. For close to two hours they didn’t even know where the couches were.

The furniture I purchased had to be returned because of the damaged pieces (more than 1). They said we could not return it because it had come inside the house and the delivery men had opened the boxes and set it up. It was then that we saw the damaged pieces, but they would not take it back with them. Later customer service said it could never be returned because it had come into the house. Please check this FB page before purchasing anything from Ashley. Ashley Homestore Furniture Customer Complaints. We finally got them to pick up SOME of the damaged pieces and refund the money for them. They then claimed they would have to charge a 20% restocking fee. Terrible customer service and the furniture was pitiful. It's thousands of people that are dealing with these same issues. Please check this FB page before purchasing.

All the furniture appears to be same just a different color
Went in looking for an easy chair, young man that greeted us had no idea what an easy chair was. After explaining what we were looking for, he vaguely pointed around the showroom floor. My wife and I wandered around where they were scattered randomly, some in entranceways others as part of whole living room ensembles. At random intervals, that same young man would make his presence known asking if we were finding what we were looking for. Unfortunately, it appears Ashley's is geared more towards whole room furnishing than just purchasing a piece at a time. Staff was very friendly, however the store is geared entirely different than what best would accommodate our purchasing needs.
I ordered furniture back in November of 2020 they informed me because of COVID it would take time to get the furniture in which I was ok with. The furniture arrived the beginning of February I ordered 2 different sets of couches and a kitchen table. The one set of couches was fine. The other set of couches was delivered wrong I got delivered 2 sofas instead of one sofa and love seat so they had to exchange in the meantime the couch was broke I said something to them about taking it back and they told me no they couldn’t because of COVID but yet they took back one of the sofas to drop off the loveseat which is also broke so I call the store back they inform me I need to speak with customer service and they tell me they will order parts I’ve emailed them and talked to them it is now may31st I haven’t received an update since April 9th I have 2 broken pieces of furniture sitting in my living room everyone know you pay a pretty penny for there furniture. I will never buy from this company again..

This company is awful. We went here and purchased a mattress, 2 pillows, 2 power reclining leather couches and a power reclining chair on July 6th. On that day, we were quoted 10-12 weeks for our furniture to be completely delivered, but was told we might get it closer to 9 or 10 weeks. The mattress came a couple weeks later. In September we called and were told that the delivery was pushed out to mid October and we're ensured that we would have it for the holidays. Mid October we called and were told it would be the first 2 weeks of November but we might be getting our chair sooner, and we're also told to call the warehouse to verify. We called and they said the chair was in but the couches were "looking like" mid December. We decided to just do it because we need our furniture that we already put a ton of money down on as well as paid on since July... On Thursday, November 5th, our chair did come. And when I asked to plug it in to test it, one of the 3 motorized parts did not work. The lumbar support was the most important reason we picked this set and after it being so late, I told them to pack it up and tell Ashley Furniture to cancel our order, we did not want a replacement. He did so and his superior did not ask to speak to me. The workers said "man, this is typical Ashley, always sending out broken s*** and promising s*** they can't keep making us who people get mad at." Right after the delivery guys left, I called the store. The manager picked up and I explained what happened with the broken chair adding insult to injury, the extra long wait period with no hope to even have our furniture by Christmas, and that we wanted to cancel our order and we wanted our refund started immediately. He put me on hold for close to 5 minutes and came back. He asked if there was anything he could do to change my mind, I said "no, not at all. You people have offered us $300 in store merchandise one time, and then $100 off delivery another time until my wife reminded you of the $300 and then you said 'then that's what we can do' and then you send me a broken chair 4 months after I buy that and other stuff. What you can do for me is give me my money back." His response was a very short " well I'm going to need to call and get that authorized" I told him to do it, that we were done. He said "ok" and then he hung up. My wife and I decided to go to the store that night to make sure the money was going back on our debit card and we spoke to the manager again. With his salesman smile he tells us that his CEO was supposed to call me to offer me something off the top of the cost of the furniture plus free delivery... I said "so basically you lied to me and did not get authorization because you tried saving the sale..." He looked uncomfortable and agitated and then admitted it, and my wife and I told him to get on the phone and authorize it because we weren't leaving until he did what he was supposed to do. He got on the phone and walked around the corner and then came and asked us if there was anything at all they could do and then offered us something stupid that I said was a slap in the face. Ultimately the dude looked very agitated because we called him out on his multiple lies. He ran our card and have us a receipt for a return. My wife asked if there was any paperwork showing the money we have paid onto the Ashley card would be given back to us and he said that had to go through accounting or some crap and no he didn't have paperwork... Having said ALL OF THIS... today is Monday November 9th, and there is STILL no pending amount coming back into my bank account from Ashley Furniture. This place sucks, the manager is a coward and a Liar. I expect to get my $3000 cash back into my bank account as well as the hundreds of dollars back that were put into the Ashley Furniture card.
I will never order furniture from Ashley's again. Its been 2 months and I still have not received my furniture.

Worst customer service ever. Mangers are incompetent and clueless. They do not care about customers issues and pass the blame from one person to another. Purchased furniture back in July they told me they had them in stock only to find out the set was discontinued weeks later . I have been waiting for a refund going on month 2 no acknowledgement of refund only to be told they are sending emails. The Manger Keith and Steve team consists of nothing but Managers who is not concerned about customer issues only to get you off the phone when you ask to escalate they give you another email SMH. Not only to add insult to injury you can find Ashely products cheaper in other stores that are not Ashely”s.

We purchased living room furniture in January. Our salesperson, Kayte Frahm was wonderful! We received one piece of the set the end of Feb. The couch was the wrong color and the recliner was damaged in the box so both had to go back. We were left with ONLY a loveseat. The correct couch was delivered sometime the end of March and again, the recliner was damaged in the box so it had to go back. We received a call a few weeks ago to set up a delivery date but instead of it being for the recliner, we were told it was for the couch that we had already received. We were then told we would have to wait (again) for the recliner to come in. It has been close to 4 months and we still do not have our recliner. I have been frustrated with your Customer Care at times because I seem to be transferred back and forth between them and the ones at the desk at your Fultondale store and for a time, no one seemed to know what was going on. I will say your delivery guys are awesome! They are very friendly and both times the recliner was delivered damaged, they are the ones that noticed and put it back on the truck. They have truly been the best part of this whole deal. We hope to get our recliner soon.
Years ago when purchasing furniture from Ashley is was a good experience. Now you go and spend thousands of dollars, then get told it is a 3-6 week wait for delivery. Then you will wait 8 weeks and the delivery will be late after you sit at home and wait 4 hours. Followed by the couch was broken and had to be replaced. Now during a pandemic they call me weekly to tell me I can make a purchase online (umm ok??? Yes let me go furniture shopping while I’m out of work) I have asked 3 weeks in a row for them to not call me. I blocked the number and am still being called me different people claiming to be from the Fultondale store even though it was a New Jersey number. DO NOT CALL ME! You are ruining any thought I ever had to do business with you guys after my last horrible experience. Shop wayfair folks. That’s where the good quality, fast delivery is.

The horror story began the day of the scheduled delivery!!! A morning delivery time was changed to afternoon because the furniture was left at the warehouse. Then they only delivered a portion of what had been purchased. Now they've decided to give a refund NEXT WEEK!!

From start to finish, worst experience I have ever had shopping. Sales staff is pushy and uninformed, including management, be prepared to repeat yourself over and over, please anticipate your item arriving damaged and then delayed, and make no mistake - this will be the biggest waste of time and money you spend in your life. Avoid this place at all costs, or at the very least, as a last resort. And if you do find yourself in this store, be sure to check online, their items are cheaper online and will only offer you the lower price if YOU find it lower and ask.

I called and spoke to the Fultondale, Al location and the receptionist that answered the phone was rude when asked for the corporate number I was give a call center number in Alabama. I spoke to kuyeria and she was so disrespectful and I wish for that call to be pulled. I work in customer service for fifteen years and if any of my employees were like her they would’ve been reported and fired!!!! I asked for corporates number she told me I will have to look it up. Like where do you train your employees?

We ordered living room furniture from Ashley furniture 6weeks ago tomorrow. We were told 3-6 weeks delivery. We were told last week all of our furniture was in except an end table. We asked today for the furniture to be delivered and we will pick up the end table when it shows up. Now they are telling us they don't have a delivery date until after Dec 6. This is unexceptable.

Bought a sofa and got a call 2 weeks later, saying that I should be home for delivery. Got a call the morning of, saying that there were “parts missing” from the sofa and that they had to reschedule. Had not heard from them since, and so I had to call the customer service folks back to express my disappointment. Finally got word that it would arrive after thanksgiving. Would recommend rooms to go instead of Ashley’s- they quoted a higher price but guaranteed a 2-3 day delivery.
This has been the worse furniture buying experience I’ve ever had. I purchased my furniture in store in August and I’m still waiting a foundation that isn’t damaged. I’ve only gotten a call from customer care once, when they said they would call back. The associate that sold the furniture was super nice but after that it’s been downhill, not even fast. If they were giving stuff away I wouldn’t want it.

Had a delivery scheduled from 630 - 10:30 on a saturday night which was not confirmed with us previously. Had to call twice to find out what time they were doing to deliver. Wasted and entire Saturday night waiting on a delivery just to hear that the delivery team had a "flat tire" at 10pm and that they would not be able to deliver it. Completely unacceptable. Buyer beware.

I will NEVER in my life purchase from Ashley Furniture again . They are quick to make the sale and take your money but once you have purchased your furniture then the really head ache begins. Took 12 week to get my sons bedroom suit (was only supposed to take 2-3 weeks) which consists of a bed with storage units and a 5 drawer chest of drawers and also took TWO deliveries to get my order correct as 3 weeks ago they come to deliver my “bedroom suit” and only had parts of my order , we couldn’t even put a mattress in the bed because they “forgot” the bed slats then it took another 3 weeks for them to finish delivering the Chest of drawers and slats and 3 unit storage Ben for under the bed that apparently never order to begin with because the staff in the store don’t know how to place a order correctly . NEVER AGIAN !!!! I would rather play a few hundred more at another furniture store then to EVER deal with this horrible company agian .

Purchased a bedroom set a year ago and still haven’t received acceptable pieces. They’ve been out at least 6+ times with damaged merchandise. Keep in mind we’ve lost time and money by having to wait for delivery (4hour delivery window). There were a couple of no-shows as well. Extremely bad service from Ashley Furniture! We will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Worst service ever.... ordered a sectional sofa February 2019 and was told it would be approx. 6 weeks before it would be in, we are at 10 weeks and counting. I received one piece of the sectional in early April due to me calling and checking on my order and they finally agreed to bring me what they had. They are currently telling me mid - May for the other piece of the sectional. This will be my last purchase with Ashley furniture.

Went in to buy a couch and walked around for 30 minutes and no one even spoke to me. Finally had to search for a salesperson when I decided on what I wanted. Bought a couch and paid in full plus a protection plan, and scheduled delivery date with the salesman. He failed to inform me the date I was choosing was the date they would expect to receive it at their warehouse not the date I should expect it. Which is odd, because he specifically asked me to pick a date I would be home. I had set that day aside to wait at home for delivery but nothing came. I also had already gotten rid of my old couch in anticipation for the delivery that day. Called customer service when I hadn’t received a phone call about ETA. The guy on the phone explained to me it was expected at their warehouse “sometime this week probably.” So not only did the salesman mislead me about what he meant when he asked for a delivery date, the couch hadn’t even arrived to their warehouse on the day we scheduled!! The paperwork says once it arrives at their warehouse I only have 5 days to have it delivered before they charge a holding fee. So not only am I couchless for the next week or more, if I can’t manage to take off work when they finally get it in their warehouse I’ll be paying even more.

I was told all sales final on my purchase of a mattress after the transaction. Also, check online for prices on the items you want. The mattresses I purchased was a bed in a box online for half price on their website, I felt truly deceived.

Very helpful and great staff. We went to look for a bed and came out with just that. They where short staffed but they made it work. The guy (didn’t even ask for his name oops my bad) was so helpful gave us the best deal and the best solution to our desired payments. The place was just over all friendly and helpful, let alone we had our six month old baby with us and she was a bit grumpy till the end and the guy worked around her as well as best as he could). Definitely will be returning in the future (oh by the way it was our first time with them so we are extremely satisfied).
We are having to replace furniture due to an accident at our home. So our insurance company only gave us a certain amount. Vance helped us and worked with us. I found a few pieces that I absolutely loved and he was able to work with us to meet our budget. Only downside is when they have a set on clearance they cannot split it up and I didn’t need coffee table and end tables. Will visit again.
I ordered a bedroom suite 10/13/18...Ashley told me it wouldn't be ready until 11/25/18.. So 11/18/18 i get a call and they say its not going to be available until December. December the 7th they tell they don't know when i will get my furniture. Maybe by the end of the year.... If you need your furniture within 3 months i advise you to go somewhere else. I have spent over 7k with Ashley furniture in the last year and all they are telling me is im sorry.
Had a very bad experience. In store was ok but had to pay out of pocket for delivery after agreeing to finance entire purchase. Never heard of having to that, but ok. The delivery team showed up at my neighbors house and dropped the furniture off there after I asked then to go to the driveway next to the one they were in and they refused due to fear of getting stuck as it is a gravel driveway. Had to take the furniture to my house via neighbors 4 wheeler and trailer and put it in myself. Very bad experience after coming highly recommended and I won't be shopping at this location again.
We love this particular location when it comes to purchasing our furniture. Recently, we bought a new sofa from this store. Ms. Patricia Stewart was a real joy to work with. She explained the pricing well and worked to get us the best deal.

I brought a living room set and purchased a warranty as well about 2 years ago. I called the warranty company a few months due to an issue with my furniture and they will not honor the contract. I would tak e more action but I just decided to get another set from somewhere else instead. Due to this issue, I will never buy furniture from Ashley's again. Do not waste your money! Buy from a company that will honor their warranty.
We went looking for a mattress today and there was a great sale taking place. Patricia was our sales woman and she was very professional and thorough explaining the differences in the styles. I don't recommend this place at all. I will NEVER buy anything else here again. Lied about the delivery date. After no phone call on the scheduled delivery day, I called spoke to one lady. "Oh yeah, I see here where it says delivery today. Let me get a manager to call you back." A hour later no call back. I called again. Got a different lady, "It says here delivery on 7/1." No, it was supposed to be scheduled for today. "You will have to call the store you purchased at, they shouldn't have told you that delivery date." Called the store....the manager isn't in, he will call you back. Waited 2 more hours, called delivery department back, finally got a manager, he was nice but nothing he can do about my delivery. He can get it out in 7/3 at the earliest. They don't work on Sunday or Monday. Nope not acceptable. This manager says, call the store, cancel your order and they will give you your money back. Called the store, manager still not available. It's okay, I will just come in. The store manager calls while I am in route. I tell him that we a 20 minutes away and on our way. We get there. The lady says "he had to step out, he will be back in about 10 minutes." 30 minutes later, she had to call him on his phone. When I asked for my money back (the cash that I paid), I was told it would be 7-10 day and they would send me a check. NO! Wouldn't even put the money on my card. Wouldn't even give me anything in writing stating they would cancel my order and send my money back. So I opted to just wait another week on my furniture. Because who is to say they wouldn't cancel my order and never send my money back. You already lied about delivery. Also somewhere in here they made a note that they called on Monday (the day that do not work) to confirm delivery. The delivery manager told me that they don't even get information from weekend purchases until Tuesday afternoon. So somebody lied again. WORST experience ever! If I could give negative stars, I would. Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Nice furniture; terrible processing of paperwork for purchase. The salesperson that assisted me was decent, but she entered the wrong contact and address for me multiple times after I corrected her several times. The financial counselors were pleasant. Not even worth the time, energy or money!

I visited Ashley's in Fultondale, for a new living room set. I was greated by Ceeara. She was very kind and welcoming to me. Ceeara walked me through the whole furniture shopping process (although I was indecisive between two sets), she was patient and never tried to pressure or hurry me like some sales professionals can be. I overall had a great experience, and can't wait to my new living room furniture to arrive.

Stay away from this store!! This has turned into a nightmare!!! (And the obviously fake reviews on their Google page are hilarious--read reviews on other sites for a more accurate depiction.) Here's our saga, which is still ongoing: We purchased 16 items and almost 2 months later we have received a grand total of 2. They are your best friend when you're in the store shopping, but after you purchase and call to inquire about your delivery, you suddenly become a huge nuisance. Last week (about a month and a half after spending almost $5k on furniture in this store) we called for a status update on the rest of our order. We were finally told that most of it would be delivered today, 4/14. I got no call yesterday about a delivery window, so I call the store right when they open today and I'm told we're "the first stop on the truck today." Then, less than an hour later, they call back and say they can't deliver today, offer no explanation or recourse, and are extremely rude. In fact, when I asked for an explanation about the discrepancy between what I was now being told and what I was told 50 minutes ago, the representative said nothing for a few moments and then shouted for her manager. I could hear them briefly talk about me, then I was placed on hold without notice. A few minutes later a guy picked up and had no idea who I was or why I was calling. Turns out they transferred me to the Hoover store. (This guy, in turn, got me off the phone by saying he was going to investigate, but of course he never called back.) After I finally got them back on the phone later in the day, they are now claiming I will get some items delivered in three days. We'll see! Meanwhile, we've had to purchase some cheap furniture from Wal Mart just to have something to sit on. After reading other reviews for this store and Ashley Furniture overall, it seems like our experience is par for the course, and unfortunately once you sign the contract and give them money there is very little you can do. They have a strict no cancellation, no refund policy. No matter what estimate for delivery they give you at time of purchase, they can stretch it out and play games for as long as they want. And apparently they frequently do. These are shady business practices at best, and I hope a consumer advocate group investigates this company. I will certainly be filing complaints. Long story short: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Edit* Warranty problems a year or so down the road while still under warranty would not replace a safety issue with a bedframe apparently warranty doesn't cover structural damage even though I was sold on end to end coverage. Great furniture at great prices with deals that can't be beat, thanks to Ceearra for setting us up with a great new bedroom set! We will definitely be back for our next purchase!

We had already been to several other furniture stores looking for what I was beginning to think was the unicorn of furniture. BUT we found it here! Our salesman, Richard, was friendly and most helpful. Even when we asked a question he wasn't sure of, instead of just telling us something that could have been wrong, he double-checked with the manager. I would much rather have to wait a couple minutes for the correct answer than be mislead immediately. Wish I had the budget to buy more! When I do, Ashley in Fultondale, will be the first place I go and hopefully Richard will be working.

This company is the worst place to spend your money on! I purchased a table for my mom at the beginning of November for her to be able to have thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years dinner on her new table and it was not deliver until January 4th with only 5 chairs out of 6! Delivery was expected November 30th, on the day off they called and say it had to be until December 16th because all items were not in stock, then I got a voicemail on December 19th stating all my items were available for pickup and we go to the warehouse on December 21st and apparently they were not in stock. I called and nobody will resolve my problem until December 26th I got a call from some lady in the store saying they will give me free delivery for the miscommunication they had but not until the following Thursday January 4th I did not agree on that because I had to ask my mom if she still wanted the table and I said to her to call me back the next day after lunch to confirm, I never received a call back to confirm they only call I received was from the delivery office assuming i still wanted the table, then the lady on the phone said I will be receiving a call from the delivery office again just to confirm the time of when they will bring the items, the call I received was on Saturday December 30th stating the rails on the bed oh yeah we also purchase a bunk bed will not be delivered, and today they day of the delivery I only get the table, 5 chairs, 2 mattress, and one chair and the bunk bed were not delivered!

I went into Ashley to purchase some furniture for my new house. I was concerned because of the yelp reviews that I have read about this store, but decided to see for myself. I had a great experience from the time i walked into the store. As soon as I walked in, my sales associate Patricia met me at the door. She asked what I was looking for and I told her. She gave me two options for shopping (which I liked). #1. She offered to walk around with us throughout the store and talk with us about pieces that we were interested in. #2. We could walk around and look by ourselves, and she would stay close in case we had any questions. Being a first time buyer, I opted for her to walk us around and show us everything. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us. I even changed my mind midway through and I never sensed any frustration from her. She and two other employees, Everett and Cheryl, made the financing process very easy. They even threw in some extras for no additional costs. I was very pleased!

Bought here before but probably never again. Last time the sales person attempted to charge me $800 more than their own internet price for a $2500 package. Glad I checked their website then went elsewhere. Typical high-pressure sales employed here. They start as soon as you walk in the door.

Love this Fultondale location, so quick and easy to get to. Close to home. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly. We were greeted promptly by Russell and he was so very helpful, answered all of our questions and was very patient with us while we changed and then finally made up our minds. The whole process was just so easy and we really feel like we were given the best deal we could possibly have gotten. I will definitely be using this company, location and associate Russell in the future for all of our home furniture needs.

I wish I could give negative stars for this terrible store they sent me two different colors couches and I've been arguing for 3 weeks now to get my money back store manager has even went as far as to reach out to my co workers to try to make me stop writing bad reviews don't keep a customer's money for 3 weeks and I wouldn't have a reason to leave a bad review maybe I'll see you at Applebee's one day!

Got a great deal on furniture! But was then sold a fraudulent protection plan on my items. I had to cancel it. It was 200$ and after reading the fine print i discovered it was not valid on display items. All my items were display or ( show room floor) items.

The experience in the fultondale store was great. But the delivery is awful they dropped the dresser outside the bed was damaged .I purchased a bedroom set for my daughter on February 24, 2017 the delivery came fast.As of March 21, 2017 I have still yet not received what I paid for even after a call each day..Customer service sucks .U can't talk to anybody in charge.I will never buy anything else fro m Ashley Furniture nor recommend anyone I know to deal with them. I wish I had shopped elsewhere.
I went in the Fultondale store on Thursday looking for bedroom furniture soon as I walked they welcomed me in & Lashae was my sales person I showed her my picture of the bedroom suit that I got off the website and she took me right to it she wrote everything up and got me out of there in less than 30 minutes they say it's going to be delivered in 2 to 4 weeks but I hope it comes before then even if it don't I know it's gon be well worth the wait.

My fiance & I went into Ashley Furniture in Fultondale AL. Everett Evans came to us and explained different payment options in full detail. I'm sure I changed my mind 4 or 5 different times and he didnt mind one bit. He helped me and my fiance get everything we needed for our first home. We would definitely recommend him & use him again in the future.
My wife and I purchased a Dining Room Table w/6 Chairs, as well as a Sofa, Loveseat, 2 Accent Chairs, and Living Room Table Set for our new home. Greg Wallace and Russell Carmody were a huge help! Tracey at the Fultondale location was amazing! Go see her! The negative thing I have to say is not regarding Fultondale at all, but Ashley Furniture at the delivery level. This is the 2nd large, full set I have ordered from Ashley. The first time I ordered a full bedroom suit and it took almost 6 weeks for it to be delivered. Now, I've ordered a living room suit and it looks like it will possibly be 4 weeks before I receive it. Ashley, you need to step your disbursement game up because we shouldn't be spending thousands of dollars (literally) and waiting a month+ for delivery.
This review will be lengthy but well worth the read in the end. My Fiance and I just got approved for our new home and we needed to furnish a whole house. We both agreed on going to Ashley's Furniture in Fultondale because that was the closest location and they had BIG sales going on. We got to Ashley's Furniture and walked in and immediately at least three sales representatives standing around ignored us (probably because we look young) and we didn't get greeted. My Fiance and I just started to look around and Russell ( a sales representative) came up to us and asked us, ("who has talked to ya'll?") and we simply told him, ("nobody.") Russell then introduced himself and started to help us out. We told Russell exactly what we were doing and what we needed and Russell started showing us around. After looking around for awhile we told Russell we needed to wait on buying any furniture because at the moment we were not approved for our new home and once we were we would come back. The very next day we got approved and that day we went back to Ashley's and asked for Russell. We immediately started to pick things out and Russell showed us everything we had in mind and helped us with anything questions we had. We shopped for over two hours and ended up being there after they closed and Russell didn't mind one bit! We ran him from one side of the store to the other! If we had a conflict with a piece that we liked and wanted to change it Russell made it happen. In the end when we were adding up all of our furniture Russell got us the BIGGEST sales price as possible and got us the lowest prices on all our furniture. Russell made this shopping experience the best it could've been. When we go into Ashley's Furniture we will always ask for Russell. The way the managers negotiated with us and the way Russell helped us we will be going back to this store if we ever need anymore furniture. Russell and the managers were the ones that made this the BEST possible experience. We thank them so much for working with us and making our dream home possible.
We had a great experience with Ashley Furniture in Fultondale. As we have just moved from out of state we have very little furniture. Stephen and the crew were able to give us a good deal on 2 bed frames, a mattress, a dresser, and 2 side tables. The furniture is beautiful. It is a bit pricey, but I realize it is also good quality. Delivery was supposed to be 2 to 4 weeks which I was a bit let down over. We were expecting guests in less than 2 weeks and had hoped to have our guestroom set by then. We purchased regardless of the delivery. We purchased on Saturday, to my surprise, I received a call the next Friday to schedule delivery of our furniture. It was delivered 3 days later! The delivery crew was quick and efficient. Everything was set up and in place within a half hour. The delivery men were courteous and respectful. All in all it was a great experience and I'll definitely shop there again as I finish furnishing the rest of my house!
The Fultondale store had a good selection and our salesperson was really nice and helped us out a lot to get a great deal on a couch. Would recommend them over alot of other furniture places I've seen.

Great customer service. I sent my 17 yr old daughter to pick our her bedroom furniture and gave her a budget. The store manager took the time to ask her questions and really find out what she was looking for in bedroom furniture. I then went into the store to give it my approval and pay for it (of course...lol) and again the store manager was super nice and helpful. I will go back for all of my future purchases.

I've been searching for new furniture pieces for over a year now, online and in stores. I visited the Fultondale store and Shawn Hawkins rocked! I love the bed I bought, it matches my other pieces really well. I kept my mattress and boxspring from my old bed and I didn't realize what the problem was when they brought my bed. The box spring would not go on the the bed and when they finally got it on and put the mattress on top, it was so tight I couldn't get a sheet on. I finally figured out what the problem was. My husband had bought this mattress & box spring probably 15 years ago, well they are both full XL, my mattress & box spring was 3-4 inches longer than a regular mattress. I kept my box spring since the guys had so much trouble getting it to fit but I did buy a new mattress, (reg full). It's all worked out fine and I still love my bed. I never thought about measuring my mattress before I bought the bed. I'm writing this just in case you have another customer buying a full size bed and keeping their old mattress sets. I didn't know there was such a size as full xl. Oh well, like I said, everything worked out fine. Karey was an extremely sweet and nice sales person and none of this was her fault. I like your store and when I need any new furniture I will shop there. The delivery guys were super nice also. Thanks!

All staff was very helpful, from the Store Manager, to the Customer Service desk guy, and also the sales staff. My end tables are exactly what I needed, since spying them in November when we placed our order for our Exhilaration Chocolate sectional sofa. The sofa was delivered as promised, although the delivery guys tried to convince me that the way I had configured my six pieces would not work in my new living room, so they set it up as they thought it should be done. When my husband saw it, we changed it to the configuration I had pictured all along. The only complaint I have is: when we push the recliners feet and backs to a nearly full recline, we are unable to make them STAY that way, which makes it really difficult to sleep in when you need to turn over. I love Ashley Home Stores, and want many things that are available there. Good quality, good service, and delightful staff. Thank you

I was happy with the purchasing experience. I have shopped at Ashley numerous times and the only complaint I have is ALWAYS the same. No phone numbers for the store that work, unable to reach anyone at the warehouse to pick up furniture. It is a crying shame that a company as large as this cannot provide a phone service for their customers. This frustration negates the great experience you have in the store.

THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE PURCHASING FURNITURE (CASH MONEY) in all my life. Had to wait 4mos for delivery and when it arrived it was damaged. Returned furniture and 2nd attempt my FRONT DOOR WAS DAMAGED ALONG WITH THE FURNITURE AGAIN.... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! NO ONE IS ACCOUNTABLE ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY.... I wouldn't do business with ASHLEY again or recommend it to anyone to make a purchase of this magnitude.

My salesperson, Kaylee, was great! There was a manufacturing delay with my bed rails, but I didn't find this out until I called about the status of my order. I was then notified of a delay. The delivery department, out of Huntsville, I believe, called with little enthusiasm and care, to notify me of my day of delivery. I was told I would receive a call, a day ahead of time, in which I would be notified of a 3 hour window for delivery arrival. I received a call from the driver after he arrived at my home. Luckily I only work 11 miles from my home, and have the ability to leave and come back if needed. Salesperson=GREAT Manufacturing= Could care less about you Warehouse Distribution= Could care less about you Delivery Driver= GREAT
My experience with The Ashley Store in Fultondale was awesome. Great customer service, not pushy. ( Katara is I remember correctly). Our delivery was on time and they were careful in the move and set up. The lead deliverer (Carl if I remember correctly): he was very professional, courteous and just plain a nice guy. The furniture was actually what I wanted and I am so happy!!! Thank you so much for taking care of the Pair family.
We had a horrible experience with Ashley Furniture!!! Our salesman,Steven, was awesome. Not pushy,helped us pick out the perfect bed! We waited 2 weeks for the bed to come in and on the day it was to be delivered,we received a phone call from delivery saying they were 20 minutes from our house. They never showed up!!! After making multiple calls and talking to multiple people they assured us that "Your bed is on the truck for delivery today,so it will be delivered TODAY!" Yea, we never got it! The next day they called and said they could deliver it the following week, needless to say, we changed our mind about that bed! Currently we are waiting for our money to be refunded!

The selection is excellent. The quality of the furniture is excellent. They make every effort to meet the timelines for delivery.
Excellent experience with salesman, Steven. He was helpful without being pushy. He allowed me to look at my leisure but was ready to help at a moment's notice. The lady that took care of the finances was also nice. The warehouse folks could have been a little friendlier, but the men that loaded the furniture worked very hard to make the furniture fit without harming it. I went back for another chest and asked for Steven. Another good experience.
First off they're 2 weeks late delivering my couch. So we have sitting on the floor for weeks. Then it took me a week to get anyone on the phone to find out what the problem was and finally the manager promised me a certain delivery time and I get a call today and it is to be delivered while I'm at work instead of the time we were promised. I love Ashley's products but unfortunately we won't be buying their products any longer. This has been the worst customer service ever. I will never shop here again!
I should've read the previous post as I am at the moment on hold to resolve this issue and most likely cancel my order. I too have heard the 2-4 weeks, then when I called, there was a problem, and the date was pushed back to the end of March! 9 weeks after purchase! There is no excuse for this level of incompetence, avoid Ashley furniture if you can.
