I would give Zero stars if possible. Everything arrived damaged and not working. Waited over 6months to get furniture. Customer service is a joke and disorganized.
We had a good experience buying our recliner here. They have a massive showroom with any kind of furniture you could want. The only place they were kind of lacking was with children's furniture and accessories. Our salesman was helpful but not pushy which we appreciated.
My rating is also for our sale experience. Actually enjoyed our shopping experience at Ashley. There is a large selection to choose from and ended up buying a type of sofa which we hadn't even considered. Eric, our salesman, was great! He didn't hover over us, which allowed us to privately discuss our decisions. (When salesman hover us, we are less likely to buy anything and leave the store quicker) Eric seemed to know exactly when to stop by and check on us, to see if we had any questions. He was polite, professional, and didn't pressure us to buy. Looking forward to our new furniture to being delivered!
This review is more for their call center for customer service than the store itself. We waited 4 months for our bedroom set to arrive just for them to send the wrong screws for the bed itself. When we called their customer service they said it could take a week for the screws to arrive, no apology for the inconvenience. After 2 weeks still no screws, wouldn’t apologize still and we ended up having to just buy our own screws from Lowe’s. The customer service is absolute garbage and when we kept explaining that we still don’t have the screws we could hear them giggling in the background on the phone, not a care in the world. I hope nobody else deals with this level of poor service
Placed an order and made deposit for bedroom suite with Reed on April 3 2021. Was told it would be 2 to 3 months out. Three months later he calls and tells me everything is in but the nightstands and they're a couple weeks out so I tell him to wait and deliver all together. Two months later I reach out to ask and all they have is the mattress and want to deliver. I didn't want to sleep on the floor. 11 months later I call to check and am told it'll be here in March of 2022. April rolls around and I call again. Keep in mind they've only reached out to me once. They say it's on the east coast waiting to ship. I ask for my deposit back and they claim to need override authorization from their regional manager. I ask to speak to him directly and they immediately call my spouse and process the refund. Entire experience was miserable. Would not buy a lamp from these people let alone an investment in furniture.complete lack of service and follow-up.
So my new furniture arrived. My family is enjoying the new furniture. The delivery ended up being 2 weeks earlier then what the original estimated date was. The delivery crew was professional and set everything up quickly. As far as my sales experience went. My salesman Eric was very polite and very helpful. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and answered all my questions. He gave me space to shop around and think which I appreciated. I was online price comparing when Eric came back with a price that I was highly satisfied with. So instead of just looking for furniture today - I went ahead and made the purchase. This so far has been a good experience. Thanks Eric good job !!
Our experience purchasing the couches were fine. Our issue was with the delivery- we were told they were on the way to the house twice before the delivery actually occurred. When the delivery men finally arrived, they told me that they couldn't get the couches in the house and would have to leave them in the garage for me to deal with later..? So okay, I agree to have them put into the garage to avoid conflict. They place the couches on their sides with the arrows on the boxes pointing in the opposite direction. Why would you even place a couch on the side to begin with?Will not be using Ashley delivery in the future if we buy furniture here again.
Ordered a bedroom (bed,dresser,chest, nightstands) in August (paid in full) with an expected delivery date in December. We got our bed and dresser in January, and the arrival of the rest of our order keeps being pushed out. It has been 9 months and they have told me it will be at least another month before but they have no date at all for when it should arrive. It takes less time for a human to be conceived and born than it does for my furniture to be shipped to me.....
Went in September 2021 to purchase furniture. Was advised it would take until January for furniture to be delivered due to delays. Called back around October 2021 for a status update, only to find out the main customer service number has no direct contact with this store location. Had to physically go back to the store to cancel. Would advise prospective customers to look at competitor stores in the Huntsville area, as the poor communication between client/customer service/store is unique to Huntsville location.
