I have loved Ashley’s furniture for over 15 years! Sadly I had a really bad experience here!! I am here because the manager never calls me back after they tell me they will So after all of my calls maybe they can help me if they even read this! We bought several pieces of bedroom furniture and a couch. Well besides it took almost 3 months to get everything (even through they told us it would take a month) one of my pieces of furniture smelled really bad, really bad I mean it smells like a fish market. And not the fresh ones… Thinking it will go away within a week or two, nothing. I have tried so many things to pull the smell away and nothing works. I have been calling because the smell is not normal! Every time they tell me the manager will give me a call and nothing! It is just one piece of my bedroom set but it makes me frustrated since I can’t use it because my clothes absorbs the smell and it is embarrassing! Ashley furniture please respond to this because I am getting a bit frustrated and I don’t want to bring my piece of furniture to your store so you all can smell it and do something about it! Thank you!

The furniture is not worth the money. My living room set is falling apart in less than 2 years. DO NOT fall for the warranty scam. They will find every excuse not to fix anything. Even though I have in writing the contract on what it is supposed to cover. I do believe that's breach of contract and I personally would like a full refund. Then I'll go to Rooms To Go. Better quality and much better reviews. There warranty company out of Florida has a 1 star on every platform. Please save yourself the money and future headach and run from both companies.

I hate this but i have to change my review from 5 down to 1, which I never do. The process by Ashley has been terrible. Delivered and put together with broken pieces and one entire section of the couch was the wrong color. Said they were ordering the parts and would come back to deliver and assemble again. The couch came, the drivers were unprepared for the assembly so i provided the tools needed, the couch doesn’t fit together properly, and they left the couch a whole mess (didn’t put pillows and cushions back on, etc). The driver even said the couch wasn’t going together right, but he wasn’t going to drive it all the way back to Birmingham so he was going to “make it work”. Took apart the connections and put it back together and it still wasn’t fully correct. When i asked about the part for the bed, he said he didn’t know anything about that. Well, 2+ months after my initial purchase, zero communication except when I’ve called to follow up, and the replacement rail just showed up via standard delivery. Customer service isn’t open Mondays (crazy since it’s a standard work day) so i can’t even get ahold of somebody to find out what I’m supposed to do with this giant box. I also kept asking the last person i spoke with if this was going to be a claim on my purchased extended warranty, since it was delivered broken and not our fault, and she couldn’t answer me. For how much I’ve spent, it should be easier to get the details. They seem very unorganized and use subcontractors so have very little management over the service after purchase. I also specifically asked the sales person, who seemed great and earned that initial 5-star review, if the couch cushions were machine washable and if it would stand up well with multiple children. Well, it’s not. The cushions are filled with loose filling, they end up very misshapen and have to constantly be re-fluffed and fixed almost daily. I wish there was a guarantee of purchase window because I’d honestly return it for something more suited for my lifestyle, which is very disappointing since i was very detailed on what i was looking for at the time.

Last minute furniture shopping so finding something was stressfull. We were able to find one that we love and Frank Swoope was patient with us and truly knows customer service . When my husband and I went in to purchase, the customer service was great! We bought an adjustable base, mattress and couch. The person helping us, I think his name was John, told us that we would get our items in 2-3 weeks instead of the normal quotes 5-7 weeks because he showed us where more was coming into stock on 10.14. 10.14 rolls around and passes my husband calls Ashley and they tell him that the base has come in. okay, all good. a couple days later the mattress is in. great. no one called either of us to tell us our over 2k bed is in and that we can schedule delivery, even though we were told we would get a call. We had to call them several times. whatever, so I personally call one day and schedule a partial delivery for said bed and I inquire about my couch. I get promised that it's set to be delivered that week. (week of 10.21) and to call back a few days later on Friday to check again. so I call back Friday, 10.25 and got told oh it's still not in but it shows it will ship today, and the person on the phone claims she will give me a call the next day Saturday confirming if it actually shipped or not. surprise! no call. so I go physically into the store Saturday and ask, they tell me again it's supposed to ship Saturday from Mississippi, and that she promises me someone will call me Sunday for an update. again surprise no call. So Tuesday 10.29 I call AGAIN and again no couch, hasn't even been shipped. I don't mind waiting but my problem is being promised all these things by the employees and no one is following through at all. it's very unprofessional and makes me regret purchasing from this store. I really wish there was an option to get refunded. I am very disappointed.

Customer service is great when you purchase, but no one calls when they get your furniture in from warehouse. They also will promise to call you with updates on your delivery after giving you exact shipping/receiving dates but guess what? No calls! Shocker. Do yourself a favor and give your money to some place else.
