I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Darry at Ashley's in Mobile; 5 stars just don't cover this experience. By nature I'm extremely indecisive... and in this economy, I think we're all a little more gun shy when it comes to bigger ticket items. Being a good salesperson is really a balancing act; you want your salesperson to be available without smothering you. This gentleman has this down pat. He'd come check on me and answer any questions thoroughly, even if that meant walking across the store to the computer to get more specific information. He simultaneously gave me room to look around without feeling pressured. I'd been back to the store multiple times before (finally!) deciding to make a purchase, and never once did Darry seem irritated or pushy when i didn't make a decision. If you want EXCELLENT customer service from an extremely knowledgeable and personable individual, please ask for Mr Shoeman. You won't regret it!!

Terrible management, does not train staff to know the right information. Due to our sales person being new we were told our dresser would be delivered and assembled when apparently that product is not eligible for assembly. Management did not want to own their mistake for it. Jessica the sales person was very apologetic and helped as much as she could considering she’s been there for less than a month.

The prices in store are cheaper than online, so I do recommend getting one from in store.

The worse Furniture stores ever! They didnt tell me that it might take up to 6 weeks to have my couch delivered. So I asked for a refund! That takes up to three days for Ashley to process. Took seconds for them to take my money for the sale. Everything after the sale goes to a call center!! No one takes responsibility " that's not on my end" is the excuse I got from the store, salesman, manager, customer service agent, delivery agent! They all pointed fingers at someone else. I will never buy there again!! I will tell everyone I know that this place is horrible, big box mentality. Shows no appreciation for customers since they deal in volume and not on customer service! My regret is I can't give them negative stars! Zero stars WOULD BE TOO HIGH!!!! NEVER AGAIN!! Oh BTW Ebay sells the same couch with free deliver for $400 less!!! I bet Ebay offers better service, so find a couch you like, then look on Ebay, I bet you save $$$!!!!! I would use the store to find the couch and order it from either Amazon or Ebay!! So now we’re dealing with a finance company who barely speaks English to sort this out. Just an absolute nightmare. Stay away.

I have been looking for new furniture and use weekends to browse the stores. Went in to Ashley Furniture store today and was greeted by Cody. He asked if I was looking for anything in particular. My sister and I started looking and I found a couch that caught my eye. I sat on it and really liked it. About that time Cody came up and answered all the questions I had. He was very patient. I made a purchase on June 1, 2025. The product (2 recliners) were delivered on June 6, 2025. One of the recliners broke on June 27, 2025. A dispatched was put in and some one came to look at the recliner on July 7, 2025. Today is July 24, 2025, the recliner is still not fixed. Ashley Furniture does not care because they have made the sale. They have offered zero resolution to the problem. They cannot provide a ship date of the part to fix the broken recliner. Therefore, I am making payments on a recliner I am unable to use and have only had for 1 month. They have no care or concerns for making this right. And apparently I am out of my THREE day window for wanting to return the product.

Edit: what started as a great experience turned to a nightmare. The wrong bed was delivered. We could not use the one that was delivered. It took 4 weeks to get the correct bed delivered. (At the time of this edit it has not been delivered yet so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it will be, as scheduled) The only call we have gotten is from the scheduler. No one has called to explain what happened or to apologize for the mistake that was all theirs. Ashley is off my shopping list and I will not recommend them to anyone I know. In store sales person was great but everyone else ( sales manager, delivery managers etc) was terrible and totally lacked customer service skills. We had a great time with Thomas. We had very limited space and we are pretty picky. He was very patient and found us exactly what we needed. He has made a return customer of us

I had the most amazing experience at Ashley furniture. I walked into the store and was greeted immediately by Nicole. I told her I was looking for a specific kind of couch. She told me she had the best recommendation and to follow her. Not only was it perfect and I ended up buying it, I hadn't even thought of purchasing this type of couch. We needed it to be pet friendly and I thought I needed a couch with removable cushion covers. Apparently there's a new beautiful material that will withstand any spill, unmentionable stains, dog fingernails, drool. It's perfect. (And I later found out the couches with the removable cushion covers can retain the dog smell.) This new technology in material is stink proof! I believe it's called Duramax. Not only that but Nicole was so fun to work with and nice. No pressure and knew exactly what I needed. I would consider her a friend! If you go into Ashley, ask for Nicole. You won't regret it

We went in half-heartedly looking for a couch and for a part to a bed we purchased off WayFair. Gerald was able to help us with both and got us in and out in less than hour! I recently visited the Ashley Furniture store with my boyfriend, and I was extremely disappointed with our experience. We went in to window shop and explore our options for furnishing our apartment, but instead of feeling welcome, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Throughout our time in the store, we noticed that we were being followed by several employees. It was evident that they were watching us closely, which made us feel like we were being racially profiled. This behavior was not only inappropriate but also made our shopping experience incredibly uncomfortable. I had hoped for a pleasant experience, but instead, we left feeling disheartened and unwelcome. I will not be buying my furniture from that store. I strongly encourage the management to address this issue to ensure that all customers feel respected and valued in their store.

Yana is knowledgeable , patient we asked questions galore , her personality never changed, and this is the reason we ultimately returned to Ashley because no one else treated us they way she did we love the experience we had with her.
