I had the most amazing experience at Ashley furniture. I walked into the store and was greeted immediately by Nicole. I told her I was looking for a specific kind of couch. She told me she had the best recommendation and to follow her. Not only was it perfect and I ended up buying it, I hadn't even thought of purchasing this type of couch. We needed it to be pet friendly and I thought I needed a couch with removable cushion covers. Apparently there's a new beautiful material that will withstand any spill, unmentionable stains, dog fingernails, drool. It's perfect. (And I later found out the couches with the removable cushion covers can retain the dog smell.) This new technology in material is stink proof! I believe it's called Duramax. Not only that but Nicole was so fun to work with and nice. No pressure and knew exactly what I needed. I would consider her a friend! If you go into Ashley, ask for Nicole. You won't regret it

We went in half-heartedly looking for a couch and for a part to a bed we purchased off WayFair. Gerald was able to help us with both and got us in and out in less than hour! We are so relieved to have found the part we needed for our bed and cannot wait for our couch to get here! It was a great experience and I definitely recommend going here before shopping online!

Darry was by far the best salesperson I have ever worked with. Personable, informative, took his time, and most importantly was not pushy with a purchase. Initially came in for a small purchase, which he seemed genuinely okay with that being his sale, and it ended up being a much larger purchase than anticipated because of him starting with a casual conversation while looking up some information on a pillow for me and my husband.

I recently visited the Ashley Furniture store with my boyfriend, and I was extremely disappointed with our experience. We went in to window shop and explore our options for furnishing our apartment, but instead of feeling welcome, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Throughout our time in the store, we noticed that we were being followed by several employees. It was evident that they were watching us closely, which made us feel like we were being racially profiled. This behavior was not only inappropriate but also made our shopping experience incredibly uncomfortable. I had hoped for a pleasant experience, but instead, we left feeling disheartened and unwelcome. I will not be buying my furniture from that store. I strongly encourage the management to address this issue to ensure that all customers feel respected and valued in their store.

I definitely need supervision if I'm going to Ashley Home Store because I could easily leave there with more furniture than I have space to put it. I'm not gonna lie, it was not easy for me to stay focused on the one thing I was there for..a bed. Thankfully our salesman, Cody was really helpful and patient..bless..I probably took my husband and Cody on 20 laps around that store so I could look at EVERYTHING! We're currently setting up a game room in our house that's gonna need some furniture..for future visits I will definitely try not to spend the entire day running from lamps to chairs to sofas just excited about all of it..TRY 😁

I went into this location and was approached by a really nice sales associate by the name of Yana and I had the MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had at a furniture store in my life. I made 3 trips there out of uncertainty and just shopping around. Yana is knowledgeable , patient we asked questions galore , her personality never changed, and this is the reason we ultimately returned to Ashley because no one else treated us they way she did we love the experience we had with her. My wife and I just popped in at Ashley’s in Mobile Al. looking for a couch and love seat and few weeks ago. There was a salesperson at the front door when we walked in. She didn’t jump on us as most sales people do, she greeted us and invited us to come in look around. Her name is Carla, she allowed us to browse for a bit, then came to us after, asking if she could assist. Very patient, considerate and knowledgeable, and definitely not pushy or aggressive. A great man once said "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of convenience and comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy". Mark made a mistake with our furniture delivery dates which made me unhappy. However, after taking full responsibility for it, he physically helped me get the furniture loaded and sent even sooner than we originally requested. Sometimes you can tell more about a person when things go wrong than when they go right. Good Job Mark!

My experience at Ashley was nothing short of AMAZING!! Cody was our sales associate. He was patient and kind and didn’t behave like sales associates at car places even though this was a furniture place and I appreciated that. I was in with my daughter. Upon entrance Cody came up to us, introduced himself professionally and asked what we were looking for. We told him and he took us around to several living room sets. The first one was pretty much love at first site(Boothbay). However, after showing us we told him we needed to go back to our previous place and look at our other option one last time. We have bought from Ashley’s previously and had a great experience. Good quality product (have had it about 5 years now), items shipped in timely manner, decent customer service. We recently purchased a couch and received good customer service, but we were disappointed to learn that they do not offer the medical personnel discount anymore. I know I’m not the only one who appreciates the acknowledgement for being in the medical field and caring for others.

I really don't like furniture shopping, but at times it's a must. I visited the Ashley Mobile, AL store on yesterday and their Home Furnishing Consultant Calvin Agee presented a very comfortable and welcoming experience for me, so my visit was so much easier. It was a grwat experience. The selection I chose a few weeks ago was no longer available when I returned. But the accommodations were exceptional. I will be purchasing a new selection. My initial experience in the store was great, the floor representative was quite patient and helpful as I made my purchasing decisions. But six weeks had gone by without a delivery, and I was getting pretty impatient. Buying, and receiving, new furniture in your home is something exciting to anticipate! I wanted to call the store to see what was going on, but you can't do that. It's a service switchboard in Georgia. Anyway, the rep on the other end of the line said that my furniture had JUST come in. Another delay, and in calling them back in Georgia, it turned out that the rep here in Mobile had written my number down wrong, and I wasn't getting any notifications. I tried to schedule the delivery time again, but that's impossible, they can only give you a date, not a time. Obviously, working a 9 to 5, that gonna have to be a Saturday, a couple of Saturdays from now. Two months after the initial visit. In the middle of all of this, Wells Fargo (who does their financing), sent me a bill statement. A bill, and no furniture yet. Last week, in frustration, I told the rep on the phone that I wanted to cancel the order and stop this agreement with WF. The rep told me I could cancel the order, but dealing with Wells Fargo was something I was gonna have to do on my own. Which, without Ashley backing me up, I think we all know how that's gonna go. Anyway, I respect and appreciate all the positive reviews, and again, I did enjoy the shopping experience. But if there's a problem, Ashley just goes totally dumb. No store contact via telephone (which could have prevented a lot of this), not a lot of customer service with their Customer Service line, and complete inability to think or act outside of the box when something goes wrong. I'm sure at this point I'll get this furniture and use it (since I really don't have a choice at this point), but I'm certainly not getting anymore furnishings with them, and will not be recommending them to any of my friends or co-workers.

My wife and I just recently stopped in at Ashley Furniture here in Mobile, AL. We were looking for a new couch and had already had a bad experience elsewhere, so we were hoping for a different experience. Lacey greeted us right away but said she would check in with us in a bit to see if we had any questions. She was great. She left us alone and wasn't on top of us following us around. She saw that we had some questions and was right there to answer them and help us make a great decision on buying a new couch.
Lacey is hands down the best salesperson. I highly recommend her for your furniture purchases.
The only reason I rate the store 3 stars is because of the sales team who sold me the furniture. They were great. After purchasing, I never received my furniture. After 6 weeks, I called to cancel my order. The escalation’s department offered me a $200 credit and promised my furniture by the following Friday. That day came and no furniture was delivered, so I cancelled the order. I then went to Badcock. They delivered my furniture in 2 days.

I came looking for a sectional that was comparable to the Rawcliffe I already had but in leather. Evelyn approached me as soon as I walked in and showed me multiple options similar to the depth of the Rawcliffe that was leather. Not only did she help me with choosing a couch for my specific needs but since I didn’t have the measurements of my living room handy, she was smart enough to pull the measurements of the rawcliffe from the store and compare it to the measurements of the new sectional I wanted so we could estimate how to build the modular sectional for my specific living room layout. Evelyn was a breath of fresh air in helping me find new furniture without feeling “salesy”. Very pleased with how smooth the buying/financing process was with Ashley of Mobile home furnishing consultant, Thomas Wilson! I was in a hurry to find new furniture due to moving suddenly. I was not expecting to walk out same day with a new bedroom suit scheduled to be delivered a couple weeks later. I cannot complain about the prices, very reasonable and the financing helped me afford everything I was looking for! I was very indecisive, going back and forth between a couple different sets and Mr. Wilson was very patient and took time to explain why each one was great. He was very welcoming and personable, I do not think I would have found the right bedroom set for me if it wasn’t for his excellent customer service. I ended up changing my mind last minute with adding a night stand and thanks to Mr. Wilson it was not a hassle. My furniture ended up being delivered one week later and I cannot be any happier with how it looks. From the minute I walked into Ashley, the delivery drivers and a call back to ensure I was satisfied with everything shown me they truly care about their customers. I will definitely be returning to Ashley furniture in the future! Make sure you check Amazon before shopping directly with Ashley because they will charge you $2,000 more than what it’s listed for on Amazon for the exact Ashley Signature line, they will also charge you $400+ for shipping and Amazon ships free of charge. I asked them to price match because they claim to do so but they refuse to honor it.

I’ll start by saying, after arriving to our local Ashley Furniture store I was disappointed to discover that the store did not have the sofa “in store” that I seen on the online website that I wanted to see/sit on in person. With that said, I asked our salesman, Darry Shoemore, to show me some other options that were along the same level that I was looking for (ie, real leather, power reclining, etc). To my surprise I found something that I feel in love with! So bottom line is that I went to look at one sofa. My husband along with our salesman, Darry, and the store manager are going back and forth in negotiating the price. Let me tell you how awesome both Darry and the store manager, Mark are…..my husband and I left the store owning not one but two sofas and 2 matching recliners that I am so excited about. To be honest, my husband is the best negotiator I have ever seen and I greatly appreciate our local Ashley store being extremely fair with us with pricing. Thankful to Darry and Mark for a truly great buying experience to where no one’s time was wasted going back and forth for hours. I feel you have us your best in negotiating the lowest price you could offer. The service given at the time of purchase was great. However, everything after that has been awful. The delivery guys had bad attitudes, and a barren for the gliding drawer was “missing”. The drawer is currently sitting in the middle of my floor with a random piece hanging out which could be a safety hazard. I have called customer service for the past month with a vague update of “the piece has not shipped”. It wasn’t until today (a month after the bed was delivered) that Ms.Dedra offered to order a new footboard since the piece will not be available until October. I’m paying for an unfinished bed at the moment and I am utterly dissatisfied. Im awaiting the new footboard but needless to say I will not be ordering from Ashley Furniture again.

And to get my Chairs its another $100. or I can go pick them up my self. I'm a senior so this was a big purchase and now i have to find someone to help me pick up 2 recliners !!!!

My sales person, Leslie expertise and knowledge assisted me in making a great decision. I saw a piece of furniture but was reluctant to purchase because I was not sure it would match my decor. Leslie and the manager made it possible to get the furniture and if not completely satisfied I could return it for a full refund which made all the difference than getting a credit slip for something else. When I received the purchase I LOVED IT. Leslie's advice was spot on when I was not sure what to do. Ashley furniture was the last store I went to while searching for all new dining room furniture. I walked in and looked left and looked right and knew immediately this store was more my style. The store was set up like rooms with decor etc rather than just have furniture look like it's in a warehouse - similar to other local stores. I chatted with Leslie Brown when we first walked in. She let us shop at our own pace and no pressure to "buy today"... she didn't follow us around and just hung back until we were ready. I went back into the store several more times before making my purchase with Leslie.

Do not buy from Ashley’s furniture❗️❗️❗️ I purchased a bed and had it delivered October 1st . The bed came broken. I’ve talked to numerous of people pertaining this issue and I got the run around. No one offered an exchange, refund or to come out and check the bed. I finally got a call that another bed will be sent out . I’m not sure if they sent me the same bed but the second bed they sent was broken also. The first delivery guy said he think it was a defect as well as the second delivery guy. It’s been three weeks and no one has called to try to fix the issue . I’ve left numerous of voicemails and was told that someone would reach back out to me. No one has called yet. Ashley has the worst customer service other than my salesman who showed a great amount of concern and great customer service . I’ve been entirely way to patience and letting them do their job but obviously they don’t care .

About a year ago I started replacing all the furniture in my house. I met Leslie at Ashley Furniture in Mobile and she was very helpful while I was looking for the right furniture for every room. I liked the store and I liked the helpful salesman. The selection was broad and I may return for a purchase. But I have to hold back a star because there was a representation of an American flag on display on a wall, made of wood (at least in appearance) that only had eleven stripes instead of the correct thirteen. It is unlikely that the manufacturer is unaware, but rather is wilfully irreverent. For Ashley Furniture to display this in its store is a de facto endorsement of this disregard for such a revered symbol. I hope it was an unfortunate oversight and it is no longer there when I return.
My experience at this store was great! I walked in with no intention of purchasing furniture as I just wanted to see color options, but Evelyn was amazing! She informed me of all the deals, financing options, delivery estimates, furniture choices, and protection plans. In addition her manager Ingrid punched some numbers to allow me to get the protection plan for my dining set which fit into my budget! The entire team there is extremely helpful and I would recommend visiting this store if you’re shopping around for furniture in the Mobile/Pensacola area. Fun fact, their store does in fact ship out to Pensacola and you’ll pay Florida taxes vice Alabama.

After visiting the D’Iberville, MS location where no one seemed interested in helping us, we decided to visit the Ashley store in Mobile a week later. I was so patiently waiting, I finally did my last pick up August n I’m still missing a piece, b4 that I was charge for something that I didn’t have, I reported that n was told every time someone will contact you n I will get my credit, still waiting on the manager.

After waiting 16 weeks, we received a headboard that wasn't compatible with our bed frame after being assured by our salesperson that it would work with what we had. So frustrating. But even more frustrating was the terrible customer service we received in trying to return it. Trying to get in touch with this store and this manager is like pulling teeth! Over the course of a week, I left several messages, both in person and over the phone, for my salesperson and for the manager Ingrid to call me back, and none of these calls were returned. Customer service told me they had also emailed the manager my info, and still, no call. After a week of trying, I finally got to talk to Ingrid who said she would submit my refund request, and that I would get a call the next day to schedule a pick up. Of course that call never came, so I reached out to customer service a few days later, and I was told that the manager had not submitted anything to them about a return or a refund. After a few more days of trying to get a hold of Ingrid, my husband had to go up to the store in person to have it taken care of. This whole process was very difficult and incredibly frustrating, to the point that I don't think I will ever buy from ashley furniture again. I love the coffee table & couch I bought from here, which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of the 1 star the terrible customer service deserves.

Worst company ever and poor sales people, bought a dresser and a week later someone calls and said they didn’t know it was discontinued and I asked to buy the one in store when I made the purchase and they would not let me, low and behold they sold the floor dresser I tried to buy out from under me knowing the dresser was discontinued and already making a purchase. This dresser matched my bedroom set so sadly I was unable to get it. Ordered another dresser waited 5 months called them and threatened to cancel and all of a sudden they found my dresser and is bringing it to me. They have your furniture in stock they are waiting for prices to go up so they can charge you to most for it. They are waiting to get them in cheaper so they can mark it up and sell it to you. This is horrible. Welcome to joe Biden’s America. Thanks leftist
I wish I could give less than 1 star I have been waiting on my couch over 16 weeks phone support is non existent I wish places would stop using covid as an excuse and just be truthful I've ordered several items from other locations and it has been delivered within a reasonable timeframe I cant even cancel and buy elsewhere because they gave me the loveseat (in December)so I have to wait on the matching couch terrible service I will never purchase from them again when I receive this couch

Well this Sunday makes 14 weeks and still no couch! Can’t even get an update! Sales person guaranteed I would have my furniture faster than Rooms2Go, which was January 3rd. I repeat, DO NOT SHOP HERE! Bunch of liars just trying to make a sale!

I have had one of the worst experiences in my life with Ashley Furniture here in Mobile, Alabama. The furniture arrived 2 weeks after it was promised, then when we got it home they had ordered the wrong pieces. They promised that they would swap the pieces out in a "few days". A month later and they are now telling us that we will have to pay a delivery fee for them to swap it out. It's THEIR mistake!! Why would we have to pay for THIER mistake?! I have been promised a phone call from a supervisor that I have yet to receive. I have been told so many falsehoods by so many employees. 2 months and still do not have our furniture after we were told it would arrive before Thanksgiving in time for my family coming home from out of town. WOW! NEVER AGAIN.

Excellent quality/beautiful furniture, exceptional sales personnel, and delivery was perfect (got it in 2 weeks instead of 1-4 months like we thought it would take). I believe our sales person at the mobile locations name was Darren and I gotta say he was so wonderful for us! We are going back soon to add more!
If I could give any less stars I would. This bedroom set was purchased FOUR MONTHS ago and still I don’t have all the pieces and am not offered a delivery time frame for the missing pieces. Too bad me I guess….
The delivery was very good and smooth, once the product finally came in. I know this is a bad time for manufacturing and shipping, so I am not counting that against Ashley. Delivery people were on time for their delivery window. They were very nice and did a good job putting everything together.

I was finally getting ready to leave after walking through the entire store then a women finally came to exit door as I was leaving & ask can I help you with something! Help me with what opening the door I ask! The WORST customer service experience to me personally! I ended up leaving & going to & purchasing at Barrow Fine Furniture, same brand furniture better customer service!!!

AVOID THIS STORE. I purchased a coffee table from the McGowan Park location, and it was delivered damaged. No one at the store can say whether it was damaged during delivery or if the damage was pre-existing and not disclosed to me, but the manager still refused to give me a refund. I was informed during a phone call that even if you buy an item in pristine condition on clearance and it is damaged during delivery you are not eligible for any kind of refund, which is a terrible policy. After a week of my poor saleswoman trying to help get the situation resolved, the best they would offer was an exchange for equal value, but I would have to pay another delivery fee. I declined, and I am going to consider this to be a $550 lesson learned. Do not shop here. Save yourself the heartache.

He helped me make the best decision and I am satisfied with what he advised me to get. Salesman was great but that's about it. My experience is the rest is over priced, low quality furniture that was delivered haphazardly assembled by Ashley warehouse workers. The furniture received damage by the delivery drivers as they both it into my house and also damaged my house as they forced the furniture through the door. What's not to love about this deal? I WISH we had never went through the Ashley Furniture door.
We are extremely dissatisfied customers.. Your process is extremely inefficient and your salespeople are making misleading statements about the eta's of the furniture. We were told we would have all of our furniture by October 15th, here we are a month later and we are still waiting. Also, the actions of your delivery guy is unacceptable and unprofessional, we expected better from Ashley's Furniture. Your guy threw the recliner from the back of the truck and then acted surprised that I refused it after finding two holes from being thrown. We could have gone elsewhere but decided to use Ashley's, did we make a mistake? Should we take our future business elsewhere? Give us a reason not to, at this point we are not impressed. We aren't mad, we are disappointed!
Josh was a fantastic salesperson!!! We needed a lot of furniture quick to remodel a beach house. He sat with me and we shopped from warehouse inventory. I was very nervous about getting everything I needed upon delivery. I was told 3 items would not be with my order of 2 dining sets, 12 chairs, sofa sleeper, 8 barstools, several mattresses and boxsprings. Delivery did NOT disappoint!! Everything was as promised!! I was also very satisfied with the quality and appearance even though I had not seen any of it! Delivery boys, 2 of them, worked their tails off pulling items off the truck and hauling it through sand and up four flights of stairs. Delivery guys were very nice making sure everything was in place and to my satisfaction. Josh followed through to make sure delivery was complete and that I was satisfied also. I loved the personal touch that was given to me through the whole process. Not to mention, having to reschedule delivery twice because of Hurricanes Sally and Zeta!! I will continue to use Ashley Furniture for my home needs!
We have purchased from Ashley for many years. We have usually had great service. However, this time I can say they may be loosing a long time customer. The sales person was great and very knowledgeable. He advised us the wait time could be awhile due to COVID. We ordered when we did because of that. We received a message about a month and a half after we ordered that 2 pieces were ready for delivery. We were given the option to wait for the 3rd piece to come in. We decided to wait. A couple weeks later we received a message that they only had one piece ready for delivery. We just assumed the 1st message was an error and decided to wait again for all pieces to be delivered at once. Now a little over 2 months after our order was placed we got another message saying only 1 piece was ready. When we inquired as to why we keep getting messages that only 1 piece is ready, we were told that if we opted not to have that 1 piece delivered and wanted to wait for the complete order that those pieces were being given to other customers. So we have no option but to get our furniture in 3 separate deliveries because they are not going to hold the furniture and wait for all pieces to come in. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. They are requiring their customers to take multiple times away from their jobs for delivery. Not to mention, with COVID, they are putting people at risk more than necessary by sending delivery people out more than once. When given the option to wait for a complete delivery they need to advise customers that the current pieces they have will be given to other customers. So its possible they may never have all 3 pieces at once and I may never receive my furniture if I choose to wait for it to be delivered all at once.
Great experience from sale to delivery. The store smells great when you walk in. we purchased a full bedroom suit that we had actually seen at another furniture store earlier in the day for just at $1,000 less. However, they could give us no delivery date and no guarantee that it would be under 8 weeks. So that took us to Ashley where I had previously purchased a couch years ago. Our salesperson was great and he really knew his products. I think the selling point with my husband was that Ashley would price match. Communication was great when it came to delivery times. Everything was precise, the delivery team contacted me and made sure I was ready and gave me time to get everything out of the way two days before. It also contacted me the morning of delivery and gave me a 15 minute window. I did have a couple of broken handles that he noticed. He went ahead and put in a purchase order to have the handles delivered. I just forgot to ask him how they were going to be delivered. With all the mail theft from mailboxes these days, you just don't know where things may end up. Other than that, I am really satisfied

We purchased an inexpensive sofa and bought the Warranty to go along with it. When we made a claim on the sofa (it was broken somehow and you could see that there was something protruding), they sent someone to investigate. That person said it was “too broken” and accused us of doing it on purpose. They denied our claim. The sofa was a nice comfortable sofa. We never would have intentionally broken our own sofa. Be warned, the furniture is cheap and the warranty is for suckers. They shammed us, don’t buy the warranty.

At first my experience was pleasant and I had a great sales associate. However, things changed once our couch delivery was continuously pushed back. Every time we called we received a lecture about the current pandemic and how it was affecting everything (which we get). Our original date was back in the beginning of June and it was just recently pushed again to the July 23rd. Tired of making it to our delivery date just for it to be pushed back again. Spoke to the store manager and he offered a $100 store gift card REGARDLESS if we kept waiting OR cancelled our order. Once we cancelled our order - we were no longer offered the gift card. They repeatedly told us that it would be the same wait time at any other furniture store, but we just bought a couch from Rooms-to-Go yesterday and its being delivered on Wednesday...
If I could give zero stars, I would do just that. I am very disappointed about the false information I was given when purchasing my furniture. I was told that it wouldn't take longer that 3 to 6 weeks for delivery to take place, with July 25th being my latest possible delivery date. After calling to check on my order about 3 weeks into it I am told that it will more likely be 6 to 10 weeks now and that my order will definitely not be ready by July 25th. The sales lady withheld that information from me when ordering and even went out of her way to assure me that it would more than likely be ready before the 25th as I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested in waiting months for furniture to be delivered. So at this point I have no clue when my furniture will be made and delivered because quote from one of the managers Kim "We have no clue what is going on with the furniture manufacturers and do not know when furniture can be delivered, only estimates", which is very interesting because never once was I told that my 3 to 6 week window would be pushed back to 6 to 8 weeks and "possibly longer". Kim was also very condescending to me about how production had been shut down because "didn't I know that we were in a pandemic right now". Yes, I actually do know that and when I asked the sales lady about the manufacturers shutting down for the pandemic, she assured me that they hadn't closed and continued to make furniture even when most had shut down. She even bragged to me about how good business had been for them the previous month because they didn't shut down manufacturing. She bragged that they did so well their store manager bought and cooked them all ribeye steaks for lunch. Anyways, the whole conversation with the sales lady is a contradiction to what Kim told me on the phone today. Someone is not telling the truth. Either the sales person told me what she thought she needed to so that she could make the sale, or Kim told me a lie to cover up how slow their manufacturers actually are, I'm not sure. Either way, they have my money hostage and I have nothing to show for it but continually moving back estimates of when it will be ready. Buyer be ware!
Loved everything about our 1st visit and purchase at Ashley's. Our salesperson was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products. There was a large selection to choose from! The gentlemen that delivered and setup our new bed were very professional and efficient. We will definitely shop Ashley's for any of our future furniture needs. Thank you all!
I will never again order furniture from this place. I have heard people say they are slow with deliveries but 5 months is ridiculous. I have gotten a delay on my order 4 different times. When I called for a refund they had the never to say I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee on some that I never received. I gave them a 1 star because I had to give a star.
Why do I feel like I'm dealing with used car sales people when I'm in this store? It's just furniture, set a price and sale some product. They give one price for cash, another price if you apply for a credit card, and if you shop online, it's another price. If you do buy something, good luck with getting it delivered in a timely manner. They have nice products, but it's such a hassle dealing with all the BS they put you through.

Ordered furniture may 7th the sales guy said it would be ready for pickup may 14th. Called may 13th to make sure it would be there and they told me it would be may 29 before it would be in and June 2nd for them to deliver. Want ever buy anything else from them
Order at your own risk...... I ordered two items from Ashley on May 3rd and agreed upon a Saturday May 9th delivery. Ashley called today (May 5th) and said they would not be able to honor their agreed upon delivery date (and din't say when it would be delivered). Now, I can not get in contact with anyone at Ashley, I have been on hold for 45 minutes. I've tried calling and chatting with no help at all. They've got my money and I have no idea when my items will be delivered. Unbelievable!!! BEWARE!!!!
(Before COVID-19) My husband, myself and our kids went to Ashley to shop for all new furniture for our new construction home. We were greeted by the nicest staff. Our sales associate Tiffany Hansley was amazing! She patiently walked us through the whole store, helped us pick out colors and coordinate everything!! DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE EVER I bought a couch from there two years ago for over $2,000 and one of my couch cushions started tearing at the seams. They won’t cover anything that was not an “accidental damage” So if I would’ve sat on the couch with a damn knife in my pocket they would’ve fixed it....but since it’s just faulty they won’t. I will never use them again

We love Ashley Furniture, that is where we bought our furniture 3 years ago and we are planning on buying more soon...I wouldn't go anywhere else.
My experience began with my delivery being postponed 4-6 weeks. Once the received my items I was called and told it would be delivered. When no one showed I followed up to learn that it was a clerical error and my items still weren’t in. Fast forward about 2 weeks. I was called and told my items were in. Later in the day of delivery I was called and informed that they broke my item and a new one had to be reordered. Another week passed I received another call stating delivery was ready. I received my items this time. Every month I’ve tried to make a payment since has been a nightmare. They can never look up my account, the system always says my password is incorrect and when I finally change it I learn that my password is what I was typing the whole time. This month I am trying to pay my bill again and it tells me I need my account number. No one will help me look it up or tell me where to find it. I never received an actual card so I don’t have access to that. I do not have time Monday through Friday to pay this and I am receiving no cooperation from anyone within the company of either ashley or Wells Fargo. I will go out of my way to never shop here again and discourage anyone I know or meet from ever using this company. There is no customer service, no follow through, and no accountability on anyone here!
Got all of our furniture from here. The staff are wonderful but my only gripe is that every time we have had stuff delivered, there ended up being delays. It’s a bit frustrating but not too bad. There are a lot of great deals on furniture. Stop by and take a look. Someone will be happy to answer questions.

None of my stuff was delivered on time. My dresser and chest wasn’t delivered with my bed and nightstand. They’re making me go to their warehouse to pick up the rest of my stuff that they couldn’t deliver to me on time. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!
What A wonderful, relaxed experience we had purchasing furniture @ Ashley. We spent all day Friday going from store to store. Once we located not just one or, two options. But, three options that we loved. The Salesman, Joshua Carper gave use all the info on our options. He didn't pressure us to make A purchase. He suggested, we talk it out, so we would get exactly what we really wanted. After, A night of going back and, forth, we came to A final decision. Joshua was right there to help us with our purchase. He's friendly and, knowledgeable. Ask for Joshua Carper when you're in the Mobile, AL McGowan Park Store, next to Hobby Lobby & around the corner from Hank Aaron Stadium.
Store manger is extremely rude & disrespectful. I would not recommend this store simply because of how he handles situations. I would rather drive to another Ashley store to purchase any more furniture from them if I ever decide to purchase more furniture. He has put a horrible taste in my mouth for Ashley furniture.

My sales person, Joshua Carper, was very helpful and went over and beyond to help complete the exchange of my lift chair. He help me pick out a new style, walk me through delivery and pick up options, didn’t rush me to make a decision, matched the online price of the chair vs the in store price, and was an all around good guy to work with! I’ll refer him as a sales rep to anyone looking for great customer service while buying new furniture at a great price!

If I could leave 0 stars for this store I would. I purchased 3 bar stools that were to be delivered to my home at a certain date/time. I had to take off work to accept the delivery because they needed a signature of someone over 18 years old. When the delivery arrived I was informed that they only had 2 of the 3 barstools purchased and the other would be in on 8/10 and would be delivered. 8/10 came and went without a word from Ashley Furniture. I started calling the store and got the run around for the next 3 weeks. My husband finally got someone to tell him where we could go pick it up ourselves (an almost 2 hour drive from our home). This was our first and last time to ever purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.
Came in knowing exactly what I wanted but T. C. Mazingo still took the time to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting and he was very informative and gave me some ideas on accent chairs and end tables as well. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and I loved how clean and inviting the facility was. Thank you very much and I look forward to enjoying my new sleeper sofa!

We ordered a bed from this place. They kept putting the delivery date off. It was so far off that we went to Rooms to Go. Found a better bed and some other furniture for a better deal. Called the place and told them we didnt want it anymore. Highly unprofessional. Never again.

Very unorganized, problems from day one getting the furniture correct. Totaling about 3 months to finally get the pieces right. From ordering wrong pieces to false claims, I would not recommend.

Ashley Furniture is the worst! This is the second time that they've been out to my residence and still can't seem to get my order right. First time ugh! Second time (today (7/17/2019) they brought KING size rails for a queen size bed and inserts that does not work on the slacks! I'm beyond livid!!!! This is the most irritating experience ever!!! I don't have time to keep leaving my job for people who can't seem to figure out what their jobs are....0 stars!!
Not happy. I was approved to by a bedroom set and at the end, when I asked about their 72 month no-interest option being promoted I was informed it would be more because 'the bank charges us more'. No, it's called double dipping and dealerships have been doing it for years. They won't -pay you- as much for financing with them if its 72 vs 12, but it's certainly not a charge to you. No one here is being fooled. Don't be a stealership.

Very irritated with Ashley furniture in general, the service at this specific store has really sealed the deal for me. First off, their couches are extremely cheap. I do hope you get the warranty because it’s not a matter of if you’ll need it, but when. They will fall apart. I decided to give them a second chance even when my first set purchased, indeed, completely fell apart. Second, don’t rely on your consultant to notify you regarding your deliveries, any pushbacks with deliveries, or exact dates. Leslie Brown assured me I’d have something by a certain date - never followed up. The order never got delivered when said - still no following up. I had to reach out myself to find out that the order had been pushed back. My one couch is STILL not here and i haven’t heard an exact date from them. Overall, very frustrated with the experience here and their lack in trying to ensure customer satisfaction. You can be sure that I will never be purchasing from Ashley’s again. Will take it a step farther to relay my experience with everyone I know as well, to ensure they fully know what they’re getting themselves into if they ever decide to purchase from such a nightmare.

Worst experience EVER! I have purchased from Ashley on several other occasions in Georgia and have never had an issue. I decided to continue my business with Ashley when I relocated to the Mobile, AL area. I ordered two full bedrooms and a full living room. Delivery dates were given for the bedrooms of the same date and the living room a week later. No one from Ashley decided to call me to advise that o would be waiting an additional three weeks on my living room. Delivery date for one bedroom was changed three times due to it being a “popular” item. Manager was not apologetic. There fix to everything is to offer an in-store credit. Customer service is lacking and they do not care for you as a customer after you have made a purchase.

My local store didn’t have the sofa and recliner in stock that I wanted. Salesman took me to another sofa to feel the fabric which is like the one I purchased. He moved lamps from one part of the store to another for me to see them close to the similar sofa. The ordering was taken care of for me. I’ve only had my sofa and recliner for a couple of days, but so far I love them.
The selection of furniture was adequate but the staff was way too pushy. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman that kept trying to get me to buy the model he was selling not the model I was looking for

From the moment we walked in the store until Josh and Randy delivered our furniture. Nothing but the best of customer service. Josh and Randy were on time, they made sure that my mom was totally satisfied with furniture placing and service before leaving. They were polite and friendly. I will definitely refer friends and family to Ashley furniture. You guys have won all my business from here on out hands down!! Way to go.
Sales people here are more pushy than car dealerships and are not interested in showing you items in your budget only items that get them the biggest commission I have purchased from here several times but will no longer be a customer of this store

Ordered sleeper sofa, chair and dining set. Upon delivery the delivery person tells us the chair got damaged in loading (cut). Proceeds to bring sofa in and unwraps sofa and cuts sofa. Called manager and he was rude and says drivers were new. No apologies. Sales person doesn't call to apologize and only sends text. Demanded credit and makes excuses as to why credit cannot be issued immediately. I will never order from Ashley's furniture again
Friendly associates, just not my style of furniture. A lot of it was big, bulky, masculine, and dark colors. I have a small house in Midtown, so trim furniture suits it better. Again, friendly associates and nothing wrong with the furniture -- just not really my style.

Good and clean
Purchased a bedroom set, living room set and a patio set in May 2018. We were informed that the bedroom set would take three weeks for delivery due to its popularity. No problem. We loved the set and were willing to wait. We received the living room and patio set two weeks later with the understanding of still receiving the bedroom set the following week. We were not told otherwise. With still no update we had to contact them to get information on the delivery. To our surprise, a three week wait now became six to eight weeks. We contacted the them again two weeks later with the off chance that there was an early shipment. Now we get the news that the headboard won't be in until the middle of August. So now we go from a three week wait to a 10 week wait. Not only did we get bum scoop from the sales rep but also the manager. I have purchased from Ashley Furniture in FL on three separate occasions prior to this purchase. Never again from this Mobile store. I will be cancelling my order for the bedroom set. A $100 gift card is not the solution to poor customer service. I only give one star because the review doesn't give you the option for zero. You lost a customer.

Very disappointed with them. I needed a bed and went into their McGowan Park store. Was greeted promptly, looked over some of their display beds, explained to the salesperson, explaining that I needed a firm bed. I found one that I liked, but didn't finalize the deal. I went to couple of other places when I got a phone call from the salesperson. She said that the bed that I was interested in had the floor model on closeout for half price. I told her that I would be down there in a half hour or so. I went down there and the apologies began. They said that the floor model I was interested in had just been sold, but they had another one that was comfortable and compared with the one. It was more expensive, about $150, but still half price. I went ahead and got it. They delivered it to me and set it up. I've had some back problems from my old one, it was 15 years old. Over the next few weeks, I couldn't sleep on it more than about 2 hours a night because of my back hurting. I thought it would take time to get comfortable. Over a couple more weeks, I would get out of my bed and just fall to the floor in excruciating pain. I finally decided to take it back to them. After all, they claim that you have 100 nights to use it to make sure I was satisfied. It had been about 40 days. I went to the store and told them that I wanted to return that one and get credit toward another one. I then found out that this bed was not a firm bed, it was an "ultra plush", the softest bed they had!! The manager then came out and explained to me that, because this bed was a closeout, I couldn't return it. That the 100 night trial didn't apply here. I left there very unsatisfied. They didn't match me up with a comparable bed, but the worst possible one they could have. Now, I had to buy from another place and have a $850 bed that is useless to me. I don't plan on going back there again. Don't buy from them, especially at their word.
Fast and friendly. Staff was very attentive and no pressure to buy. If they work on commission it wasn't apparent.
Customer service is bad. I ordered lamps over two week ago and they're still not in.And nobody seems to be concerned as to when they will come in. You can bet i want purchase any big ticket from them

We ordered a piece from mobile store to be picked up from the warehouse. We called to the store to see if was in and secured in a box. She said it was in then I drove an hour to be told it wasn't scheduled to be in until the next week! Then I finally get this exclusive piece of furniture to only be broken! Wow, now I call store, so called manager Kim.. her quote " if you would have paid for delivery you would not have this problem." Ok can you send me a new one and pick this up? No you must return it and wait on another piece. I told her in fun I'll see you in court . " we going to get our money any way" . currently calling corporate let me see how this goes
I went in to Ashley Furniture on a whim today. I was greeted at the door by Dee, who was very welcoming and explained the promotions that were going on. He did not pressure me and let me shop on my own. After looking at the Urbanology line (which is so hip and unexpected), I decided that I needed assistance. I approached Dee and asked him to help me. He was so kind and knowledgeable. We went around the store and selected pieces for my new home. Thank you to all of the staff at Ashley for making my experience today enjoyable! I look forward to working with Ashley in the near future.
Customer service means a lot to me! I just left this store looking for matress set and livibg room furniture already approved through progressive.. its unbelievable no one came and asked if i needed help nor did anyone greet me coming in nor leaving!! There was a sales associate sitting down and didn't even open her mouth to help.. i will never go back, thanks

Cons: In Home delivery charge way too high, $300.00 for sofa love seat and recliner. No one at Ashley could explain how delivery charge was calculated. They profit from furniture markup and delivery charge also. Pros: Dee at Mobile store was extremely knowledgeable about the furniture they sell, very helpful and patient, great salesman. There are many other places that sell Ashley furniture but the best place to buy premium furniture is from Ashley stores.
Good location and great service. Didn't have what I was looking for. I was looking for comtempary furniture, this store doesn't stock this type of style at all.

Just bought more than a few pieces and Suzi helped me and the wife every step of the way. From one side of the store to the other I think we ran her for miles today and she was a dream to work with. I honestly can't wait to come back in.

Nice furniture
Nothing overly done. It's a store full of furniture-you browse and the floor reps roam around waiting for you to ask for their assistance. It's not bad but it's not a "wow" experience.
The best of furniture stores in town.
We made a couple of trips to the store (We shopped at several other stores) Holly was a pleasure to work with, and she was knowledgeable about her product.

I love the variety of furniture! I made a great purchase today although I won't be receiving my furniture until December which was disappointing but the sales lady Leslie was great! I give her two thumbs up! She was friendly and patient.
Dee Kinney did a great job assisting me to furnish a one bedroom apartment. He pointed out relevant features and helped with numerous small suggestions that really helped.

The staff at Ashley was very nice and helpful and helped me to find what I needed for my home. Suzi and Cassandra were very easy to work with and allowed me to borrow the furniture (which I ended up purchasing) to make sure it worked for me before I purchased the pieces. I'd definitely come back based on my experience today.

Was greeted by Thomas Wilson, told him our situation and he engaged us as if we were buying furniture that day. Coming from a comission sales situation that really impressed me. I was greeted by Suzi Farber almost as soon as I walked in the door. I described what I was looking for, we looked at a couple of options and she asked me really good questions and immediately took me to see the bedroom suite that we ended up buying. The purchase process was seamless. The delivery showed up on time and the guys were very quick and careful in assembling everything. The only reason I didn't rate this experience a 5-star was because the finishes were missing from the bed posts. I hope to get them this week.
