PART ONE When shopping in store, of course you are going to receive good customer service; they are trying to earn commission. I was told that my purchase would be delivered on a certain day. The salesman (Kenyatta) even put it on my receipt for delivery date. The week leading up to delivery, I tried MULTIPLE times to speak/communicate with my sales person(Kenyatta) about delivery. I tried to call, couldn’t get an answer. I tried texting and she would wait hours before responding. The only response she would provide is, “I’ll let you know closer to the date”. LITERALLY the day before deliver I still haven’t heard anything. THE MORNING OF DELIVERY STILL NOTHING. The day of delivery I had to contact someone from the customer service line. The rep told me delivery was NEVER scheduled for the delivery that I paid for. The rep told me that someone from scheduling usually calls and schedules deliver date. Nobody ever called me to schedule delivery. How would I know that someone was to call me when my salesperson (Kenyatta) specifically told me that she set that up for me on the date I requested? I asked for the items that I purchased to be delivered on a certain date due to moving out from one house to another. Now that I am here, I have NONE of the furniture that I paid for and paid delivery for. It took me renting a UHAUL and picking up the items that I paid delivery for. If I hadn’t used UHAUL, I would have had to wait an additional TWO WEEKS. That leaves me with ZERO furniture. I was told by the customer service rep that all she could give me was a 50% refund on the delivery fee due to that being store policy. Why am I still paying 50% for delivery that I have to pick up myself???? That make ZERO sense that I would still be on the hook for delivery fee if your sales rep botch that up from the start. I told her I would like to speak to someone else that could give me my delivery fee back in full. Although I never spoke to anyone higher than her on that Saturday(1/9/26), she did tell me the owner approved me getting a full refund of my delivery fee and that will start processing on Monday for the approval and check to get disbursed via check. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the customer service rep’s name, I was driving and couldn’t write or make a note on my phone, she did GREAT assisting me getting my concerns addressed. She did disclose that they do not deliver to the area I am in on Saturdays, only Thursdays. Why would my sales person (Kenyatta) tell me she would have it delivered on a Saturday, when they don’t do that? Sounds like some training needs to happen so the sales people can provide better customer service. I to work in customer service and never try to tell a client something I am uncertain about. Now that I am at the first store (Eastern Blvd, Mgm) to pick up some of the furniture, the guys that loaded the U HAUL for me were polite. I get to the second store and the two people in the back where pick up is, not so much. Not friendly at all, didn’t even look up from the computer when I told him who I was and what I was there for. In a rude tone tried to tell me I am at the wrong store. (I give rudeness back) I look at him and state, “I’ve already picked up my furniture from one store and I am here to pick up (list off what I am here to pick up)”, as I point to the back of my opened U HAUL so he can see that I already have some of my items. I have made multiple attempts from Monday, January 11th to present day, February 5th to find out more about my refund. Nobody from customer service can provide me anything. I was told I would get a call back. I have not gotten a call back during that time frame. I keep getting the run around about who I need to speak to, why I can’t speak to them and where they are. FINALLY today I talk to someone named Alberta in Centralized office, she claims to be a manager. SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE, the tone in which she speaks to a customer is ATROCIOUS!! SHE HAS NO SENSE ON HOW TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS.
