My husband and I had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture of Montgomery. Our Sales Associates, OJ and Tommy were very resourceful in assisting us. The atmosphere was very welcoming and customer friendly. They were able to answer all of questions and retain our purchase within our budget.

Andrea and Randolph were extremely helpful and genuine people. My husband and I particularly enjoyed their humorous personalities. Randolph's experience and handy moving abilities really helped with our decision making process. Overall our experience was pretty great due to these outstanding individuals. :)

PART ONE When shopping in store, of course you are going to receive good customer service; they are trying to earn commission. I was told that my purchase would be delivered on a certain day. The salesman (Kenyatta) even put it on my receipt for delivery date. The week leading up to delivery, I tried MULTIPLE times to speak/communicate with my sales person(Kenyatta) about delivery. I tried to call, couldn’t get an answer. I tried texting and she would wait hours before responding. The only response she would provide is, “I’ll let you know closer to the date”. LITERALLY the day before deliver I still haven’t heard anything. THE MORNING OF DELIVERY STILL NOTHING. The day of delivery I had to contact someone from the customer service line. The rep told me delivery was NEVER scheduled for the delivery that I paid for. The rep told me that someone from scheduling usually calls and schedules deliver date. Nobody ever called me to schedule delivery. How would I know that someone was to call me when my salesperson (Kenyatta) specifically told me that she set that up for me on the date I requested? I asked for the items that I purchased to be delivered on a certain date due to moving out from one house to another. Now that I am here, I have NONE of the furniture that I paid for and paid delivery for. It took me renting a UHAUL and picking up the items that I paid delivery for. If I hadn’t used UHAUL, I would have had to wait an additional TWO WEEKS. That leaves me with ZERO furniture. I was told by the customer service rep that all she could give me was a 50% refund on the delivery fee due to that being store policy. Why am I still paying 50% for delivery that I have to pick up myself???? That make ZERO sense that I would still be on the hook for delivery fee if your sales rep botch that up from the start. I told her I would like to speak to someone else that could give me my delivery fee back in full. Although I never spoke to anyone higher than her on that Saturday(1/9/26), she did tell me the owner approved me getting a full refund of my delivery fee and that will start processing on Monday for the approval and check to get disbursed via check. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the customer service rep’s name, I was driving and couldn’t write or make a note on my phone, she did GREAT assisting me getting my concerns addressed. She did disclose that they do not deliver to the area I am in on Saturdays, only Thursdays. Why would my sales person (Kenyatta) tell me she would have it delivered on a Saturday, when they don’t do that? Sounds like some training needs to happen so the sales people can provide better customer service. I to work in customer service and never try to tell a client something I am uncertain about. Now that I am at the first store (Eastern Blvd, Mgm) to pick up some of the furniture, the guys that loaded the U HAUL for me were polite. I get to the second store and the two people in the back where pick up is, not so much. Not friendly at all, didn’t even look up from the computer when I told him who I was and what I was there for. In a rude tone tried to tell me I am at the wrong store. (I give rudeness back) I look at him and state, “I’ve already picked up my furniture from one store and I am here to pick up (list off what I am here to pick up)”, as I point to the back of my opened U HAUL so he can see that I already have some of my items. I have made multiple attempts from Monday, January 11th to present day, February 5th to find out more about my refund. Nobody from customer service can provide me anything. I was told I would get a call back. I have not gotten a call back during that time frame. I keep getting the run around about who I need to speak to, why I can’t speak to them and where they are. FINALLY today I talk to someone named Alberta in Centralized office, she claims to be a manager. SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE, the tone in which she speaks to a customer is ATROCIOUS!! SHE HAS NO SENSE ON HOW TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS.

Tyler went above and beyond to help me shop for a buffet for our dining room. I will definitely be back to shop with him again! Excellent customer service! Thanks Tyler!

She refused to provide me the check number and the manner that the check will be sent. ***I told the lady yesterday that this furniture was purchased for my son who is attending Auburn University. I will be telling every student athlete (and their parents) who are moving to Auburn and needing furniture NOT to purchase from this furniture store due to POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.*** I do not want a call, nor will I be taking this review down. Train your staff better on how CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKS. Google would only allow so many characters in my original review. I would not let me post two reviews under my one email, so I posted under two separate emails.

What a wonderful group of people. Tyler was a wonderful salesmen. He was patient, willing to work with us and was authentic. He never once pushed anything on us and was up front with us even if it hurt him or the store. The manager whose name I didn’t catch was also very helpful and I believe Laura was the name of the lady that helped us with the accessories and what not. Again great store. We will be back!!!

I have shopped at some horrible furniture store in the pass but this one takes the cake. No furniture is in stock even when they say it is. Than it takes a month to get it and if you ask for a refund they charge you a restock fee for a product that they didnt have and another 3 weeks to get a refund. Great furniture if you can get it but horrible supply logistics and follow through.

If you buy furniture from Ashley furniture store do not do not do not do not get it Finance. The financial charge is a good advertisement to suck you in to the point that you are not allowed to get access to your account account being locked out due to unknown reasons be asking to send information about your account a payment date by in email and mailing request but this have not been met by the financial services. Yes, the furniture is nice and pretty is it’s pretty but if you get it finance just be ready for the rumble or the rounds you have to access the account. Due to their services is badly neglected. Hitting your credit up, saying that you are late when you have not received one info or you can’t get access to the account. This my third time finance furniture. Ashley Furniture customer n financial services is very terrible I will give them billions negative stars for the services I been getting from them.. I should had stay with Rooms to go before Ashley Furniture… Run away from this store or there finances they used… I want to give this furniture back they are affected my credit saying I’m late due to their service keep changing or locking me out from making a payment. They security system may have been breaches or not informing the customer about anything. I don’t care about the money I pay into it you just keep it.. this is a headache for a system isn’t allowing me to get access to my account. Going into 3 months of issues with account.. not on my end but the financial services. Don’t understand how I’m lost every time when it come down to make a payment.. We were shopping for a specific size table and swivel chairs. When we did not find what we were looking for on the showroom floor, Mo, the salesperson, patiently asked questions and searched until he found what we were looking for. He promptly ordered and our chairs and table were available within a week. Overall, a good shopping experience.

I had the worst experience here buying furniture that was already broken when delivered and having to keep it and call them continuously about it I have never been in s situation where you can't just replace something cause you never used it

I've been needing to buy a new sofa, and came into the Boulevard location today after seeing a new sign outside. This store is GORGEOUS and clean! Kenyatta greeted me at the door and I was so impressed with her knowledge and easy personality. She wasn't pushy and made it a comfortable decision to upgrade to a leather reclining sofa. The managers Tommy and Nick were wonderful to talk with when it came to explaining the delivery process as well. Cannot recommend them enough!
