Mr. Mitchell is an EXCELLENT sales person at the Ashley Prattville store!! He was MOST informative on mattresses that we were shopping for! I was very impressed! He asked several questions as to our body aches & pains from sleeping on our current mattress set (is why we were shopping for new!) I had not been asked those questions before from a sales person!! We had went to several stores that day, but Mr. Mitchell's knowledge is what sold the mattress set to us. I would highly recommend Mr. Mitchell to anyone shopping at the Prattville store!

We recently purchased items for our bedroom and family room, and the entire process was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Rod Henry, the manager and our salesman, gave us the time and space to look around at our own pace before approaching. He was attentive without being overbearing, and he patiently answered all of our many questions. Rod also took the time to explain our options in detail, making sure we felt confident in our choices. We will definitely be back!

ZANTHUS WAS A GREAT RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE. Very nice kind guy who got us right.

I'd like to recognize this sales person, Rod. My wife and I was looking to purchase a sectional living room set. Rod had an answer for every question we had. The knowledge he displayed about the furniture was amazing. I knew him from his previous jobs, Lowes, and Party City. His knowledge of furniture sales was at such a high level, I had to ask him, "How did you learn so much about furniture so fast?" His answer was, "Sir, I'm a student of the store." What an answer. After being in the store for about 45 minutes or so, he not only sold us a sectional, one of your mattresses. We were very satisfied with Rod's courteous, the knowledge he has , and his professionalism.

Sometimes it’s best to just order from an online store be going into this location you going to expect more than what they are willing to give. Once they get your sell the care is out the door. They can’t help solve any problem after it has left the store. Delivery was a joke..I had to drive behind the truck to get the pillows and we was in the middle of a busy intersection instead of them having common sense to pull over in a safe area . Bed frame is cheaply made. The manager is a little incompetent and nonchalant.

Very disappointing service and communication. I purchased two recliners and sofa recliner first off. The delivery was slower than the salesperson indicated when we purchased them. We were supposed to receive a vacation package for a cruise when delivery was made, and it was not delivered. When I contacted Ashley, I was informed that they did not have any currently and was waiting on some more packages and they were first come first serve. Long story short I am supposed to receive a $200 credit for a purchase. I have made a claim. For a repair of both armrest on one chair and was informed that the extended warranty did not cover currently, and Ashley was supposed to take care of it. It’s been three weeks and I still have not received any communication on what to expect for the repair. I was informed the management was discussing it and they were gonna call me back last week. Still no call. ***Update: Ashley made contact and the recliner is repaired. It took about 3 weeks. The independent service technician replaced the 4 hinges on the armrests and are working properly. Management sent me a check for $200.00 in place of the cruise we didn't receive. That took about 2 weeks.

I was extremely pleased that he answered my questions as well as inquire more thoughts from me to make sure he understood my desires. But the best part was that he gave me room to roam and shop to my hearts desire. I never felt hounded and the cherry on top was that he DID NOT require my personal info (because we all know that meant he would be constantly calling me to find out when I was returning). This has never before happened to me since my move here 7 years ago and why I haven’t purchased anything in the past. So Bravo Mack 👏👏👏… you were a PERFECT 10!!! Showed up at opening today looking for a specific TV stand and coffee. Was told they didn't have it in stock and neither did Montgomery or anywhere else. Everything was no no no, not a solution or anything, just no we don't have it. I asked someone else and he tried to sell me something I didn't even want. I asked where the clearance area was and got told it's scattered throughout the store. Not just one designated area. I asked okay so what is available today to take home not order? And they everything has to be ordered except for clearance but they couldn't even show me where the clearance items were! Kept asking me if I wanted to order something and I stated no several times I didn't want to order, I wanted to pick up and take home today. Left without the coffee table and stand I wanted because of employees refusing to help and kept using the word no with not a solution

Helpful in locating just the right chair for a big man hard to please

I strongly advise against making any purchases from this store due to my ongoing issues and the unfulfilled promises I have experienced for over six months. In February 2024, I invested $3,500 in a new sectional sofa, expecting it to last more than three months. When I contacted them in May regarding the problems, a representative was dispatched to assess the situation. I was informed that the issues stemmed from a manufacturing defect and assured that a replacement would be ordered promptly. However, as of February 2025, when I followed up last week, I was told that my warranty had expired. I continue to receive vague assurances that my situation will be addressed, yet I find myself repeatedly having to call them back for updates.

I went by Ashley Furniture Prattville, Al. to quickly browse some specific furniture pieces and price compare for purchase for only AFTER my new relocation to Al in the very near future. Upon entering I was immediately standard approached and greeted by a pleasant sales staff member that I told I was "just browsing" and briefly conveyed my future purchasing agenda per relocating etc.(translated simply: I'm good.. I don't need help nor buying anything right now) I understand and appreciate sales ppl trying to do their job but I don't like being prodded pitched or shadowed especially after communicating as such. It comes off as..to me.. disrespectful. (Almost always the case in my experiences..ugh!) Well this lovely sales woman named Amanda Brown completely surprised and impressed me so much by not only respecting my response of needs but she was so pleasant and savvy in doing such while doing her job too so beautifully! So much so I am adamant in my decision to return to HER for my intended purchases and possibly even more. (there is always something more..lol) She didn't just leave me alone but she didn't make me feel smothered or obligated to engage in convo either! Ms Brown acquainted herself with me in such a warm welcoming genuine manner ALL with competent professionalism (that's talent) that I'm now MORE excited in my relocating AND purchasing new furniture!

Just wanted to share how pleasantly surprised my wife and I were when we dropped in to look around. We are thinking of maybe a new look for some of our rooms with different ideas on the looks as well!! LOL My wife and I can often be far apart on ideas and often be a challenge to deal with. However, we were fortunate enough to have met Ms. Amanda who, patiently listened to our many questions and ideas ,gave input and then showed us a variety options for those ideas . My wife found a bed she wanted for our daughter online and decided to stop at the prattville location to order on 11/9/24. Hindsight, we should have just ordered online. She showed the salesperson the online listing which indicated shipping in one week and she helped her place the order and informed her it would “arrive by thanksgiving or first week of December at the latest.” Cool. I reviewed the receipt when she got home and noticed the price charged was more than the online price, so I called and was informed that what you see online is not the same as the stores since they are franchised but they would match the price by mailing a check for the difference in 10-14 days. Here we are a month later and still no check. Not a huge deal since we should have checked before paying but was the first instance of not doing what they say. They did call twice in the coming weeks from distribution to say “the order is still coming and we’ll let you know when it ships.” Thanksgiving week passes and I get concerned since it’s a gift for our daughter and call and am told 3 weeks but they don’t know why etc. Few days later I call the store and am told my the manager that he would call the vendor and try to get a hard shipping date since it keeps getting pushed back. He never calls back but claims he did but no missed calls and no voicemail. I call each week until current date trying to get an update and am told something different by everyone I talk to. Finally, today Lenard says he pulled up the production list and the headboard is the issue and they won’t start production on that till Mid January. If this information was available, why was I not told until I had to go around the world asking questions?! I understand you cannot control the vendors etc but the horrible communication, inability to provide accurate information and general lack of customer service is unacceptable. Tried to cancel the order with Lenard and was told again that we would receive the refund check within 10-14 business days. We paid by card, this should be an easy refund back to the account. We’ll see if they do the right thing here and I will update accordingly.

Jessie, Lenard, and Sharron were the absolute best. They all 3 stayed late to be sure we had the best deal on the best furniture we could get. Thanks to them my daughter will get to come home from the hospital to a new couch, love seat, and her favorite.. a chaise lounge. Thank you so much to everybody for all their help! It truly helps make this holiday season that much better.
