Fantastic shopping experience. Helpful but not high pressure. Macy and Sean were both super helpful. They helped us pick pieces that not only meet our needs but will look great in our space. Buying furniture is boring for kids. They even gave my 5-year old son a toy car to play with that not only kept him busy while we shopped but made him feel special getting a little treat to take home. If you need furniture this is the place to go. I dread shopping for furniture because of the typical pushy sales reps who won’t let you shop in peace. They let us browse but were there to answer questions and help us pick the best colors for our space. Checkout and scheduling delivery was also quick and smooth. We’ve bought Ashley furniture for years but are so glad to have found a rare gem at the Scottsboro store. Will buy there again.

Honestly I felt very pressured by the manager Sean. I had found a headboard and footboard online that I really liked but I didn't want it delivered by FedEx so I went into the Scottsboro store to order it so that I could get the white glove delivery and setup. Kim was very helpful but when she handed it over to Sean and he did his figures and what was on sale for $449. turned out to be right at $800, I of course questioned why such a big jump. I wasn't aware, was never explained to, that delivery was $100 +dollars but I was ok with that because it was needed, but then Sean tells me the other charge was for a 5 year extended warranty that he NEVER mentioned nor asked me if I wanted said warranty until I asked why the price jumped so much. When I told him I didn't want that warranty he got very arrogant and said " Who doesn't want an extra 5 year warranty for that price? I responded with, me. After I got home the more I thought about it the more I decided to call and cancel my order. Mind you I paid cash for this. Had I not asked, he would have tacked the warranty on my order without asking. Im a 73 year old woman but I'm not stupid

Nathan and Dylan were exceptional today

We had been searching for a Mercomatic Dual Power Recliner in the Gray/Fog color since September of this year. Every store that we called said it was discontinued. Luckily we just happened to call into this store and they had one on the floor! Dylan and Nate went way beyond what we expected on the phone and in the store. We drove a 100 miles to pick this us. Customer service is what this store is all about!

Do not recommend this store. I was disappointed with the customer service during my visit. Dylan came across as pushy and rude, and seemed more focused on his phone and mentioning other places he needed to be than assisting us. Sean initially appeared friendly, but later used inappropriate language when he thought we couldn’t hear him, which made us uncomfortable. Overall, we were made to feel judged based on our appearance, as though we couldn’t afford the merchandise. This experience felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, which is unfortunate for a store selling quality furniture.

We got a call 10 minutes before they were at the delivery spot & the manager says they waited for us.. they absolutely did not. They also rutted the yard out by driving all in the grass when there’s PLENTY OF GRAVEL. Told us we could go pick it up at the warehouse in Bessemer & wave the delivery fee. Great service while they’re trying to sell you something and will gladly take your money but now we have to wait for our stuff even longer.

Bought New posturepedic bed and adjustable frame was told we had 90 days to make sure it was what we wanted.. after 30 days it definitely wasn't what we laid on in the store .. picked the soft matress this thing said soft but its like a rock. After we told them it wasn't going to work I was informed that since I bought it from Ashley and not posturepedic that the satisfaction guarantee didn't apply that I could pay 10% of the total price and swap it .. So another 400+ dollars on top of the 5200$ i had already spent for something that definitely wasn't what we had tried out in the store .. It was harder than the firm matress we laid on.. Needless to say I won't ever purchase anything from here ever again.. They will tell you anything to get you out the door..

It was very awkward and everyone was trying to be polite and say no or I’ve already left one. While I can appreciate the boldness, earn your reviews like everyone else. There wasn’t even a mention of a product, sale etc just hey can yall leave us a review. Very strange.

Great experience shopping at this store! The manager Sean and salesperson Nathan really helped our experience be the best it could be and treated us like family. Will happily drop by and shop at this Ashley location again.

I wish I could give negative stars. Unfortunately I was so excited to purchase a couch from ashley furniture to only be highly let down. We bought a cough at the end of March and was told it would be delivered April 25th. I was a little upset and hesitant because I didn't want to wait that long but they assured it would be in so I went along with the purchase. They told me someone would reach out to set up delivery. The week of April 25th comes and we call to confirm delivery. In which they told us it wasn't available until may 23rd!! We called the manager of the store and he assured it would be closer to may 13th. We expressed our concerns but agreed to the may 13th date. We called today and were told the may 23rd date again. The customer service aspect is even worse. The girl told us "I know it's not your fault but it's not mine either." Lol seriously? She said she'd call some manager and see if they could get something sooner and call us back. Guess who never called us back. I wish I'd gone somewhere else.

Wouldn’t recommend this store if it was the last store in the world. Horrible service, horrible communication and honestly they just don’t care about you. They screwed us over on the mattress and pillows we bought. Told us we could return them if we didn’t like them then changed it and said they wouldn’t accept a return after telling us otherwise. You also have to pay a large fee if you want to return your mattress and that’s something they don’t tell you either. They Signed us up for estatements instead of paper bills like we asked so now we are getting charged a ton of late fees because we had no idea a payment was due because we never received a bill in the mail like they told us we would. Literally the worst store in Scottsboro. The only reason I even gave 1 star is because it made me give one in order to post a review. Not even worthy of one star.

Visited the Ashley Scottsboro store today to look at tv consoles and accent tables. Upon entering a very enthusiastic Nathan met me and my mother at the door. He began to tell us about the Purple sale going on. I had been thinking I needed a firmer mattress so what did it hurt to look. I sat down on the edge of a firm purple mattress and thought to myself “This doesn’t feel firm at all”. The store manager Sean had joined our little party and suggested I lay down. I coveted this mattress almost immediately. After laying for a couple of minutes the pains in my back had eased and I was close to drifting off, even as the conversation around me continued. I decided I needed this mattress in my life immediately. Nathan and Sean made the purchase easy and fun. Thumbs up, would recommend! Update: Changing my five start to a 2. Good experience in store. That seems to be where it ends. I had to pay Extra “out of area” delivery fee. Was told 2-4 weeks, but the norm was closer to the 2 week mark. It has been 6 weeks now and still no delivery. I called at the 4 week mark and they told me “Yes, they have my order in! Due to being “Out of area” the only day they could deliver was on Sunday, and it would be another 2 weeks at the earliest. I called the store back and they were going to see what they could do to get it delivered sooner. No calls back from anyone! Called again today (6 week mark) to be told. We don’t deliver on Sundays because we are closed. They would have to see when they would be available to send and have someone call me. I am not holding my breath. Additional Update: I called both the store and the delivery service multiple times. Finally, the Store manager called the delivery service to get me expedited after I asked about canceling the order. After waiting 6.5 weeks it was finally delivered. I am letting it air out now due to a chemically smell. Bumped my review up to 3 stars. The store deserves 5 stars, but since leaving the store, the rest of the process was stressful.

The salesman is personable, friendly, and more than willing to help in any way to get you what you need. If you're in the market for furniture, you should check out Ashley 😊

Highly recommend this location in Scottsboro. Al. Upon arrival we were greeted by Kim with her great personality and lovely smile. Her and Shaun were awesome. Very friendly and helpful! Kim had answers for any questions we had and helped with any obstacle we met. Within a short period of time we were able to purchase all the furniture we needed to furnish our new home. I was instantly greeted by the manager, Sean, asking me how I could be helped or what I was looking for today. He was able to understand my needs by showing me some ideas to consider based on our our lifestyle. He introduced me to Kim, one of the associates, and asked her to draw up a floor plan and then she printed out what I was interested in along with measurements and price. They were both very patient and and had great ability to put my words into a vision. I will definitely contact them when I’m ready to make a decision and encourage everyone to at least go by and check out the great sale that they are having currently!
