Wouldn’t recommend this store if it was the last store in the world. Horrible service, horrible communication and honestly they just don’t care about you. They screwed us over on the mattress and pillows we bought. Told us we could return them if we didn’t like them then changed it and said they wouldn’t accept a return after telling us otherwise. You also have to pay a large fee if you want to return your mattress and that’s something they don’t tell you either. They Signed us up for estatements instead of paper bills like we asked so now we are getting charged a ton of late fees because we had no idea a payment was due because we never received a bill in the mail like they told us we would. Literally the worst store in Scottsboro. The only reason I even gave 1 star is because it made me give one in order to post a review. Not even worthy of one star.

I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Nathan, who, along with his manager Sean, made me feel comfortable from the start. Unlike other places where you feel pressured into making a purchase, they were simply there to help. No pushy sales tactics—just genuine assistance in finding what was best for me. Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on making sure I left with exactly what I needed. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a stress-free shopping experience!

Visited the Ashley Scottsboro store today to look at tv consoles and accent tables. Upon entering a very enthusiastic Nathan met me and my mother at the door. He began to tell us about the Purple sale going on. I had been thinking I needed a firmer mattress so what did it hurt to look. I sat down on the edge of a firm purple mattress and thought to myself “This doesn’t feel firm at all”. The store manager Sean had joined our little party and suggested I lay down. I coveted this mattress almost immediately. After laying for a couple of minutes the pains in my back had eased and I was close to drifting off, even as the conversation around me continued. I decided I needed this mattress in my life immediately. Nathan and Sean made the purchase easy and fun. Thumbs up, would recommend! Update: Changing my five start to a 2. Good experience in store. That seems to be where it ends. I had to pay Extra “out of area” delivery fee. Was told 2-4 weeks, but the norm was closer to the 2 week mark. It has been 6 weeks now and still no delivery. I called at the 4 week mark and they told me “Yes, they have my order in! Due to being “Out of area” the only day they could deliver was on Sunday, and it would be another 2 weeks at the earliest. I called the store back and they were going to see what they could do to get it delivered sooner. No calls back from anyone! Called again today (6 week mark) to be told. We don’t deliver on Sundays because we are closed. They would have to see when they would be available to send and have someone call me. I am not holding my breath. Additional Update: I called both the store and the delivery service multiple times. Finally, the Store manager called the delivery service to get me expedited after I asked about canceling the order. After waiting 6.5 weeks it was finally delivered. I am letting it air out now due to a chemically smell. Bumped my review up to 3 stars. The store deserves 5 stars, but since leaving the store, the rest of the process was stressful.
The salesman is personable, friendly, and more than willing to help in any way to get you what you need. If you're in the market for furniture, you should check out Ashley 😊

Highly recommend this location in Scottsboro. Al. Upon arrival we were greeted by Kim with her great personality and lovely smile. Her and Shaun were awesome. Very friendly and helpful! Kim had answers for any questions we had and helped with any obstacle we met. Within a short period of time we were able to purchase all the furniture we needed to furnish our new home. Shaun helped with the final purchases and had us on our way in no time. If we ever have any furniture need we will definitely check this location first.

I was instantly greeted by the manager, Sean, asking me how I could be helped or what I was looking for today. He was able to understand my needs by showing me some ideas to consider based on our our lifestyle. He introduced me to Kim, one of the associates, and asked her to draw up a floor plan and then she printed out what I was interested in along with measurements and price. They were both very patient and and had great ability to put my words into a vision. I will definitely contact them when I’m ready to make a decision and encourage everyone to at least go by and check out the great sale that they are having currently!

Both were incredibly helpful, professional, and efficient, making the shopping experience easy and enjoyable. They also offered additional services, but I never felt pressured to make any purchases beyond what I needed. Yes, I bought a mattress today from Tyler at Ashley‘s in Scottsboro! Tyler was wonderful! He took his time I never felt rushed and he had spent two hours with me. Never complained once. I would highly recommend him if you are going to go to Ashley‘s.

They were extremely pushy and almost doesn’t take NO for an answer. They are nice just feels like a car lot when you go in they follow you around and doesn’t give you time to compare prices. They told us they would match the prices from another store but we canceled our order after realizing they were still $800 more

I came into Ashleys store after spending a long day at other furniture stores where the salespeople were either pushy or unwelcoming. Imagine my surprise when I walk in and this beautiful woman walks up to me with a smile on her face and a sweet voice wanting to help me find just what I need. Kim was AMAZING. She took her time with me and made sure I wasn't gonna waste my money on something I didn't need or want. I will be back to buy from her each and every time a need arises.

Today we received the rest of our furniture from Ashley since the first delivery was missing screws for the recliner loveseat. Upon delivery we realized that now that we have the full living set the end table it’s too big for our living room . I called customer service and requested to exchange the bigger end table for a smaller one that also can be bought with the living set that we bought. I said that it didn’t matter to us that the end table that we had was more than the one I wanted to exchange for. I was told absolutely not that we only had 24 hours to return anything. I told them that I read online that it 30 days, the lady said that’s only for online purchases. She said that we signed the paperwork that said we only had 24 hours for any returns, forgive for not seeing that and how convenient that no one mention when you are signing for the purchase. I asked to speak to a manager and they indicated that she was on a break and for me to take a picture of my end table and they would review it and call me back. An hour after I text the picture they sent me a text saying that they would not accept my return, I didn’t want to return. I wanted to exchange it for a smaller End table. We spent almost 6k and we can’t exchange $300 end table which was delivered exactly 7 days ago however you have 30 days if you purchase it online. Buyers beware read carefully what you signed. They will make no exceptions. Please note that we have spent 20K in the last 4 years however it doesn’t matter.. This is a true story and I am really disappointed with Ashley’s Furniture.

Scottsborro AL Ashley Furniture Store- Went in with my mom to look for a bedroom suite for my parents new home. Was greeted by some very friendly and helpful guys (Tyler and Dylan). They immediately helped us but didn’t overwhelm us with info like most salesmen. Both were very knowledgeable about pricing and content of the furniture even though one of them (Dylan) was still new….I never would’ve known he was knew had he not told me. Tyler has helped me before with some furniture shopping too. They were even kind enough to chit chat with us and get to know us more as people, not just do business with us to get their paychecks. I appreciated their kindness and helpfulness and that they walked us to the door as we left. Great customer service that I think every store should have.
I went to the Ashley Furniture in Scottsboro to just look at some furniture not planning to buy. Dylan and Tyler helped us and we’re so helpful and friendly while we waited on the manager to get our prices and do the paperwork. They made us a great deal so we did end up buying after all.

We purchased a mattress at this store, they high pressured us to get a mattress protector that we didn’t want, we purchased it and it was promised that it would be silent. It wasn’t. The sheets moving on it were loud, we did not sleep on it we put it back in the box and attempted to return it. They would not take it back. Be careful what you buy here, apparently they have a no return policy in anything opened. Our mattress is great. Our sales person Summer was great but the policies of this store are terrible. We buy a lot of furniture and this will cause us to not shop here again.
I personally have had the worst experience. I received my furniture MONTHS AGO and while they installed it they cut the back on it and there is also a knick in the arm of my sectional. Ok I was ok with that mistakes happen. They say they will fix it well sent the wrong materials the first time and while I didn't know that the guy came qas gonna fix and couldn't months go by finally get a package of materials maybe it is right maybe it is not don't know and never have I been called rk schedule fixing I paid for the 5 year extended warranty but if they cannot fix what they messed up to begin with why would I think they can fix anything I spill or messnup on it still waiting on a scheduled fix appointment for the guy to come fix my furniture I want refunded in full for what I paid for the extended warranty. Have emailed Danica she was the sales lady on that over this matter have heard nothing back

My daughter and I visited the Scottsboro store on March 10th. We came in to look for art and ended up with a great storage chest and tapestry wall hanging. I had just moved to Alabama and needed new bedroom furniture for my kids. I came to this store in Feb 2021 and bought 2 queen beds, 2 queen matresses and 3 matress protectors totallong over $5000. I was told because of covid it would take 8 to 12 weeks to deliver. We are at 14 weeks now and i have part of 1 bed, a second bed was delivered incomplete and taken back, hours of phone calls with customer care, promises broken, 2 delivery dates scheduled for this week and both cancelled as we were told yet again they dont have complete beds for us. We have finally demanded a refund and we will never, for any reason do business with this compnay again.

We went into the store not thinking we would actually come out with what we needed. Samantha was very helpful and got a real good deal on what we purchased. I had been looking online for several days and could not find exactly what I was looking for or if I did, the price was just way too much for me to spend (I needed good furniture without paying expensive prices). We walked out of the store happy and didn't spend a great amount of money.
Poor Customer Support. I purchased a $1500 dinning room table and noticed a flaw (screw pushing through top). Contacted Customer Support multiple times and sent in photos, with no response after 5 weeks. Customer Support reached out to me and a new table is being delivered. I'll change my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. Excellent product, at a reasonable price.

I understand things are slow due to the virus, however, every time I call and ask about my furniture they claim that it will be here the next week, and so on. I still have not received my furniture, and now they are claiming it will be in October! They are not trustworthy!!!!

Let me start by saying the Alabama Ashely furniture is a separate franchise from the Chattanooga location. I have been waiting on a new mattress etc. since July when I made my purchase I have called/ emailed the store the delivery department you name it they said I should receive my items no more than 6 weeks from the deposit now it’s going to be 2 and 1/2 months or later before I see this stuff . I have not received any contact from management after weeks of trying , except one at the delivery department . This manager finally answered after I called for over a week .. she was so rude and disrespectful. She said she only had one date available for me and it was not her job to schedule around me . Sh also mentioned if I didn’t take the LATE date she was giving me it would be even later , and she had no idea how long that would be . She could not even give me a time on this delivery date meaning I’d have to miss a whole day of work . I do not recommend this place I wish I would have read the reviews because they all say the same lies and excuses they gave me ! I am going to keep posting reviews, calling , sending emails until someone at this place can finally cancel my order, and give me my money back . I refuse to give money to a buissness that has such horrible customer service, and a horrible delivery department.
Nice looking furniture. I was a little disappointed with the quality price ratio. However the employees were on their toes and catch you as you're getting out of your car. Not really but you get in the door in they're there.

I was shopping for a mattress and I had Stephanie she was extremely friendly and informative . I only had one downfall and not sure if it was because of the Black Friday sales but none of the prices where posted on the mattresses so we had to keep looking it up. Hands down still a great experience.

I went in looking for a new dresser to match a bed frame I had recently purchased. I struggled at other stores in town and couldn’t find a lot of help (I’m no interior decorated by any means) I hadn’t realized that there was an Ashley home furniture store that recently opened in scottsboro so I dropped by and from the moment I walked in Josh was more than happy to assist me and make sure I found just what I was looking for. Even though there was a plethora of dressers to choose from, we didn’t find one that would suit well with my new bed frame. Therefore Josh suggested that we look into ordering something and that it would be there as early as two weeks. Well he called me as soon as it got there and I got the best deal I possibly could. I would give Josh’s assistance a 10/5 if google would let me!

Thanks to Tina for helping me find the perfect bed for an awesome price. Aside from that, be aware of these delivery people, I've been very explicit as to what address the bed gets delivered to. They have tried to confirm delivery over the phone when I was told that they only communicate through email.
I went "window shopping" and ended up buying a dining room set, kitchen island, hutch, dresser, and a sectional couch with an ottoman! Jonathan was AMAZING! He was so patient--I changed my mind on the sectional I wanted after he had the paperwork done and he had to redo it! He is such a knowledgeable and courteous young man!
