Customer service brought me here. At first, I didn’t feel like being hounded by sales associates even though they were really nice, but when I went to the other store I felt like I was on my own and no one really cared so I wanted to come back to a place where I felt appreciated and was helped. Awful service bought 3000 couch delivery never happen had to drive to Bessemer to get it and everyone you talk to is in a different world or on a different page they tried to make it right with a 100 gift card but it turned into an all day event

Ordered a table and chairs about a month ago. Took a while but it was something they didn’t carry in stock so understandable. Finally got it today and was very happy with it. The delivery drivers were very professional and courteous. I ask them to put on shoe covers and they did. Even taking them on and off each time they walked out and came back in. Did a fantastic job with assembly of the new table. Showed me how to adjust the chairs so they wouldn’t wobble. Will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend them.

Do NOT get your furniture from this store. I purchased a couch at the beginning of May. It’s the end of August and I’m STILL WAITING. No one is calling to update me or anything. At first I was being helped by Fred and he was great. When I returned later that week to buy it, Terri was called over by her manager to help us. I almost wanted to walk out of the store because of her. Really rude and pushy. When I told her I didn’t want to buy a mattress too, she responded with an attitude said “what do you mean?” and kept asking where I could possibly think I’d get a better deal. We had a credit card that qualified for a special promotion which would lower the interest for financing. We told her we’d like to use that card to take advantage of the promotion. She tried making us feel stupid and told us that it did not exist and an interest rate like that would never happen. After she disappeared for ~40 minutes to check with her manager, she came back and said that we could do it. No apology or anything for being so rude about it. She asked when I was moving and would need the furniture and I said ASAP. She asked when I needed to be out of the place I was living at the time which was July. So she apparently put “do not deliver until July” in the notes. She was dishonest to me when she told me 6-8 weeks which would make delivery mid to late June. When I called delivery department this morning, they told me that because Terri wrote July in the notes, they did not prioritize my order. They expected us to just sit on the floor I guess. Finally at the end of July after I called several times they delivered half of the couch. The other half is delayed once again to September. I only found out about this by calling. Absolutely no communication to me about delays on their end. I have to keep calling and calling when it’s not delivered on the date they told me the last time. Awful experience

I came in several months ago and Ty helped me out. He was great and very helpful. I picked out the Flynnter bedroom set. Unfortunately there was a wait time of 9-12 weeks. I made the purchase anyways and over the time period I received 2-3 calls from Ty himself saying that all parts were there except a part of the bed frame. After 11 weeks I got the call that my furniture was ready to be delivered except for the mirror on the dresser. In all the previous calls I was told the mirror was already in but now it won’t be ready until September. When the furniture was delivered all the furniture was covered in a thick black dust, I found damaged marks on my headboard, dresser in two locations, and one drawer of my footboard that is scratched and won’t close properly. I contacted Ashley customer service and they offered me $65 to keep the furniture as is and they will send someone out to fix my drawer. After asking a few questions they aren’t even responding to me anymore. It has been over a week and I’m still unsure what steps are being made to fix some of their mistakes. I paid thousands and waited 3 months just to get a portion of my delivery and most of it was damaged and all they offered me was $65? I will never step foot inside Ashley Furniture again.

Beware the bait and switch. I was working with Ty on a clearance item. Discussed options for about an hour. Then transferred to Sara. Went to buy and somehow the price jumped 200. Then they made me wait 30 minutes to try and get the old price back from “higher ups” but they were waiting a return call and I gave up after waiting another 30 min. Terrible. The promo price was printed on the flyer. Then they took it off the table and scribbled it out and brought it back with 200 plus increase.
I had a great experience. The woman that helped me was amazing. She gave us a great discount and showed us so many options. She really took the time to show us everything and hear out our requests. Bought sleeper sofa when I picked up in Birmingham when tried to put legs on one wouldn’t screw in Ashley customer service insisted letting someone look at it which I did service tech took backing off which was missing most of the staple underneath he found the sofa frame was broke. Ashley furniture picked the furniture up after I paid 109.00. Now I having to pay 150.00 for restock fee who restocks broken sofa. Then I was charged a 29.00 late fee because they didn’t issue credit to my account on time. I want it known how I was treated.

I had a minor issue with one of my pieces that was delivered to my home. I went to Chris (store manager) and he assured me right away that he would get the issue taken care of. Purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture Tuscaloosa at the beginning of this year. The couch was delivered broken but we did not realize until after the delivery had been made(damage was underneath). Ashley's own repair guy they sent out said it looked like it was "dropped off the truck"! Started a repair request on Feb 2nd and I still do not have a resolution, even though we purchased the extra warranty! They finally came and picked up my couch for "in shop repair" a week ago and will not give me any sort of timeline for when I can expect it back. I have been on the phone with the service department no less than 10 times over the past 3 months and I am extremely frustrated! Noone at the service number ever has any information to help me and I have been told many times I would receive a call back and have not received one yet! At this point, I would be happy to just get my money back and start the couch buying process all over because right now I am out $1k and have no couch!

We've gotten a table from here before, and the process is never too difficult, so I'd have to recommend coming here again.

My husband and I came in looking for a good comfortable bed. They had queens in stock and they are very soft. Got one for a good deal!! We will be back for the king so later on
Twice this year I have found myself in need of new furniture, and being an indecisive person who struggles with choice paralysis, I tried to go to every furniture store in town to try and find what it was I was looking for. Both times I ultimately decided to go with Ashley Furniture. As I said, I can be indecisive and have a hard time making a choice with larger purchases, such as furniture. It can be stressful to have a sales associate hanging by you as you look around a store, even if you have a pretty good idea of what it is you are looking for. When this happens I often feel bad about wasting the time of the associate, and I also feel bad about leaving if I have to think about my options. Every single employee that I interacted with was kind enough to give me space, occasionally check in with me within a reasonable timeframe, and point me in the right direction when I had specific wants/needs with the furniture I was looking for. Even when I would realize I wasn't going to be able to make a decision right then and there and would decide to leave, I never felt pressure from any of the associates to stay. During my multiple visits I had the pleasure of working with Tyler, Fred, Kiarrah and Cynthia, as well as a few associates who just checked in briefly without sharing their names. I'm also terrible with remembering names, so if I did forget to mention you and you know you helped me, I'm very sorry for not including you here! Everyone was patient, kind, and knowledgably about their products. If I asked a question that was a little tricky, no one tried to just make up an answer, and would consult their fellow employees to make sure I had the correct information. Not only does Ashley Furniture have an excellent selection, several of the other furniture stores in town are also carrying Ashley Furniture pieces on their showroom floors as well. I noticed both their neighbor Royal Furniture and both Spiller Furniture locations carried Ashley Furniture pieces, as well as I believe Jackie of All Trades. And I suspect that this is true for most of the other sellers in town with the exception of Haverty's. Full disclosure, during the 2008 recession I was employed by Haverty's at their distribution center/warehouse in Georgia, unloading furniture as it arrived from their various suppliers. I'm familiar with their suppliers (at least during that time), their standard of care when handling furniture, and their quality. Despite this familiarity, I still prefered working with Ashley Furniture. When you shop at Haverty's store here in town it's 50/50 on if you get a pushy sales associate or one that will give you space. As someone who prefers comfort over fashion, there's also a feeling of judgement from the sales associates who all seem to be taught to act posh in a way that makes the experience feel weird. Also their warranty seems pretty lacking. Speaking of which, as a pet owner, Ashley Furniture has one of the better warranty options that I have seen. While no one covers for scratches and bite marks, Ashley Furniture was one of the only furniture companies in town that offered certain coverages for pets that were specifically excluded by almost everyone else. Finally, they offer some of the quickest delivery times because their warehouse is in Bessemer. If the item you are ordering is in stock it can be at your house within a week's time, or if you have the means to pick it up you can potentially have it in your hands the same/next day. If I remember correctly, Spiller's warehouse is in Mississippi, Royal's warehouse is in Tennessee, and Haverty's warehouse is in Bessemer, Georgia next to the Mayfield Ice-cream factory. I didn't ask any of the other furniture stores about their delivery times, or warehouse locations.

Initially I had given a 5 star review. These people have THE WORST customer service. I had to change my order a bit and selected a different mattress. I was aware of the 10% fee associated with canceling the mattress (it had not yet been delivered or scheduled) but I didn’t complain. Just looked to cancel and purchase another option that I felt more comfortable with. That was about 2 weeks ago. Since that time the store manager, Chris, has done nothing but give me the run around. He would go as far as to call & notify me that he would calling back with an answer between or by a certain time frame and would just never call back. I would even call and the other employees would say things like “he still hasn’t called back?” or “I would feel the same way.” I have extended patience and grace because we are all human but it comes to a point where you realize you are just being lied to. Blatantly. The “recorded line” means nothing to him. I waited 3 days on an email he said he’d send which still was never sent. This went on for an entire week until finally I was told by Terri that I really just needed to come to the store and sign a new form. I went by as soon as I got off the same day and was told that they would send it for approval for the fly by delivery to be added to the ticket. I also paid another fee to have them pick up the mattress to go with the bed in addition to the other 10% I mentioned prior. Ashley’s scheduling department called to schedule my delivery & then they had to turn around and cancel it due to the store in Tuscaloosa failing to respond all day about the mattress I selected. Of course I was disappointed because I was looking forward to getting the furniture that I willingly dropped over $6k for. When I called Chris about this issue, instead of owning that they were holding up the delivery unnecessarily, he basically threatened to cancel the entire order. Very poor customer service.

Our experience at Ashley in Tuscaloosa on Skyland Blvd. has caused us to come to the conclusion that the store should be closed. Even though our contract clearly stated free delivery, we were told they could not deliver it because it was too far.When we purchased the items, Ty, our salesperson, assured us it would be delivered to our new house. We were told by the store manager that if they delivered it, the cost would be astronomical, and we just needed to hire someone to come and get it. But wait. It was not in stock. But yes, it was, but no, it wasn't...We asked them to cancel the order and we would go to a store that could deliver. Then, we were told the cancelation fee would be in excess of 650.00! This is a "restocking" fee. But wait, how can you restock something that was not in stock!I have sent an email to lmarks@ashleyalabama.com, who is the owner of the store, with this complaint. When did people quit keeping their word, especially when it is in writing.I should have read the reviews first.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture today, which is February 29th 2024, the last day of the month. When I originally went into the store, Terri was very helpful and knowledgeable of the merchandise I was looking for. After I left and called back for Terri, she had already left for the day. Mrs. Cynthia was very friendly and helpful and invited me to a special sale they were having today. I shopping around,I decided to go with Ashley for my furniture needs. Joe Sellers help make my purchasing options very easy and smooth going. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood the payment option I was going with for my furniture. I will definitely be back for more item's.

Where do I started?.. Joe met me at the door, introduced himself and allowed me to browse the showroom floor. I stumbled upon a beautiful bedroom suite, however I only needed the dresser and mirror. He pitched the president’s sale and what sale items would get more bang for my buck. We ended up in the mattress area and that’s where awesome Chris (store manager) sprinkled his magic! Needless, to say I left Ashley’s with bang for my buck and two friendships. What a wonderful experience! If you’re shopping for furniture, please go see Joe and Chris at Ashley’s 😀
The employees are wonderful to work with and really help break the prices down and get you what you want. The distribution center can be a hassle for pick up, but the furniture quality is great. I’ve bought two of the exact same sectional and no issues!

I found him to be really approachable and he played a key role in helping us decide on the perfect bedroom set for my two rambunctious 14-year-old boys, who are always wrestling, throwing footballs, and causing spills with their rough play. Tyler went the extra mile to assist us and my boys had a night at Ashley’s that I can guarantee no other 14 year olds have ever experienced. Greeted me upon walking into the store, told me about present sale that they had going on and also walked me thru the store to show me other items similar to what I was looking for to get the best price and match to what I was looking for. Their customer service is sub-par. I purchased a custom sofa that is going to take 8-12 weeks to be made. I went to the Tuscaloosa location but was going to have it shipped to another location in the state. The sofa is being made in Mississippi so I did not think this would be an issue. They said I could pick it up for free or pay them over $800 to have it shipped. I mentioned that there were three Ashley stores within an hour of where it was being shipped and they said that it was not owned by their corporate office and was no affiliation with them. They did not try to find a solution so I cancelled my order. It took them a couple of minutes to charge my credit card but took them 30 minutes to reverse the charges. It took a couple of days before I received the credit. I would not recommend Ashley in Tuscaloosa if you are going to have the product shipped out of town.

I'm still waiting on a cancelation and dispute resolution. The order was placed on a Saturday, I canceled the next day both verbally and in writing within 24 hours of their 72 hour policy. I had to call numerous times and emailed over the next 2 days with zero help from management. I had to go through my credit card company because the store refused to cancel the order I made, later calling me to confirm me stating I requested an in store credit. Odd when they had it in writing I wanted to cancel outright and odder still that they weren't willing to assist any other time I called. Please go elsewhere.

Not only did we get the beautiful leather set, which would have been $5K for only the love seat and sofa, we got the loveseat, sofa , and 3 flip out, unique tables for…$2,900!! I'd been eyeing a living room set and a particular headboard for a while. I went in today to checkout the holiday sale and unfortunately the items I wanted were discontinued. So Terri, the customer service rep jumped into action to help me find other options. I told her the colors I liked and I showed her pics of my coffee tables and end tables so that we could pair it well with the pieces I already owned. I am very pleased with my purchase and I would highly recommend Terri over at Ashley furniture because though I missed out on the items I originally wanted I walked away with a much better deal. And the options, savings and the service was so great the upsale was a no brainer!!!

Fantastic experience. Joe offered us assistance at the door, which we declined simply to explore. He was incredibly respectful about this choice - never once did we feel badgered or pushed for a purchase. Instead we browsed, and after about 15 minutes or so, we found a couch we were interested in. Playfully, my partner picked on me about my obsession with the texture of a particular couch we were interested in, which Joe overheard as he was walking by. We struck up some conversation about comfort and quality relaxation and an enjoyment of those extra plushy blanket throws. He never pushed us toward purchase, but warmly invited us to - still respecting that little rejection of assistance in an authentic way; afterwards, when we decided to buy, he went out of his way to assist us by printing every color of the couch we asked for, providing us with multiple quotes when we thought of something else, and generally never made us feel like we were troubling him to do so. Probably the best experience we've ever had in a furniture store & with a sales associate in one!
in store experience was fine, however the manager was supposed to schedule the couch for delivery and never did. I changed my work schedule to be home for the delivery and when no one ever called I called the warehouse and the nice lady told me it was never put in for delivery.

They helped us with our first “adult” furniture purchases and it was nothing short of amazing. No one likes spending thousands of dollars on furniture, but Cynthia and Krystal made the process as easy and fun as it could be. We purchased a bed frame. It was delivered broken. Took a month to get a new one and we had to pick it up from Bessemer warehouse. Store would not refund the delivery and set up fee for broken bed. So we are out $150 and gas to Bessemer because of their subpar customer service and product.

Tuscaloosa store needs a whole set of NEW EMPLOYEES..or maybe jus the crew that were there Tues (3/14) We walked in knowing exactly what we wanted to purchase, walked right to it.. No one..Not one single employee looked at us or spoke to us.. I walked all the way to the service desk in the center and 2 ladies were there, one did glance up at me but that was it.. I stood there for 20 plus min, I even at one point reached in my purse and pulled out a couple 100s and a credit card n fanned myself with these standing at the desk.. Still zero response from either employee, I walked to the back offices looking for someone, anyone, to ring up the table I came to purchase, no one stopped me from going into any employee only areas..it was ghost town back there, I again approached the service desk-same 2 ladies, same result.. I pulled my phone out and called the Ashley store in hoover ON SPEAKER PHONE, I spoke with them about the table I wanted.. took pics and emailed the sales person n hoover.. all the while still on speaker phone n the store , throwing distance to the so called service desk.. Still being ignored.. so Hoover store ordered my table as we were leaving to head up to that store we did have a sales guy in a blue shirt ask us did we need help finding anything.. Have no idea where this man was the hour we stood around in that silent store but hey at least he asked n he was the ONLY person who spoke to us period.. But we had already bought thru Hoover...

If I could offer you one piece of advise for the future it would be this. Don't shop at Ashley Furniture. Imagine the worst experience you've ever had buying a used car and then apply that to furniture. That's Ashley. Over-promise, under-deliver. Also, 6 months later, we still never got a premium matress cover they upsold us. At one point, they called us and told us it was in. When we went to pick it up, they told us they'd sold it to someone else and we'd have to wait for a new one to come in. Still waiting.

Chris Payne is a liar and will tell you anything just to get you to buy a piece of furniture. Worse than a used car sales man. They beg you to leave a good review before you leave the store. BELIVE THE BAD REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! told Ashley furniture only makes furniture Out of solid wood. Guess what that’s a lie. I ordered two of the same chairs. Ones made out of solid wood, ones made out of plywood/particle board. The chairs don’t even match. Ones broken on arrival. Chris told me I had 72 hours once the chairs are delivered/picked up to return them. We picked up the chairs in Bessemer yesterday. I called the store today to let them know one chair was broken and the colors did not match. BEWARE ONCE YOU PURCHASE AND PAY FOR YOUR FURNITURE THE STORE WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING ELSE!! They told me there’s nothing they could do And that I needed to call customer care (in a different country). I had to argue with 5 different people to finally get someone who told me I can bring the chairs back to Bessemer. Now let’s see how long it takes for my refund! My experience so far has been horrible.

Update: After I got home from purchasing a sectional, I realized it would not fit in my living room. I called to have my order cancelled and it has now been 11 days and I cannot get anyone to refund my money or cancel my order. I have been told repeatedly that someone will call me back and no one ever does. After 2 trips to the store and several phone calls, my husband finally got our refund. They told us 10 days ago that it would take 7-10 days to get my credit card refunded. Apparently "it was a process to cancel an order". Well, 10 days later they still had not credited my card and would not return our phone calls. My husband went to the store and magically they were able to refund my credit card in minutes. I do not like being lied to and I will not return to this store to buy furniture. This is sad because I have always purchased my furniture from Ashley. Never again. Great place and great furniture! Go see Kinley!

So sad!! Two months waiting for a Item, never came and When I called them to cancel it they told me that I need to pay 10% of my order as a Cancelation Fee!!!! For something that was their fault! Is this fair? Never a call telling me about the delays! So now That I called for thirth time to cancel it, after notify me the 10 % fee for cancellation, and I toñd the that it wasnt fair, they looked their system and looks like this item is avalaible form long time ago, and now I have go, pick it up myself, which is not what we were told when we bought it, and the living room set. Defenitively, with less money you can buy good quality on local people, good time for delivery and better costumer service,

If I could rate worse than 1 star I would for this store. The customer service and delivery scheduling is the single most unorganized department I have ever seen. We have had a very expensive mattress delivery messed up three times now by Ashley in Tuscaloosa. 3 days of missed work for incorrect scheduling and nothing done on their part to correct it. You will be way ahead to pay more elsewhere than to purchase from this store.
We have purchased a very expensive mattress and the scheduling department is an absolute disaster here. They have messed up or missed an appointment three times now causing my wife to miss work. I wish I would have paid more from another store who cares about customers.

As with other reviewers, my husband and I were also told false information in order for the store to make a sale. We went in knowing what we wanted, a Tanavi sectional and 3 Skempton barstools. We were told by Tyler to never order online because they’ll offer cheap prices and never fulfill your order. (After that I bought a console table online and received it 3 days after I ordered it… so that’s not true). Then he said that the Tanavi wasn’t available for months but showed us a couch called “Sophie” that was “named after his ex”. He was more worried about being cute than being knowledgable because the couch we were looking at and was sold was the Tanavi. Then we were told the barstools we wanted were sold in packs of 2 so we couldn’t get 3. We decided to get 2 packs of 2. The receipt says “2/CN” and quantity of 2. We were quoted $114 per stool, a discount from the price online since we were buying multiple pieces. Waited weeks to only have 2 stools delivered and now the manager and Ashley’s corporate office is saying “too bad, you only ordered 2”. No one cares that it clearly says on paper that we ordered 2 packs of 2. Our options are to go spend more money with these people (never going to happen) or pay MORE money to return the 2 we received and find something else. Listen to the reviews and learn from our mistakes. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Very horrible quality. Made of carton . I had to return all Items what Ashley store delivered to my place because they got damaged on the way. I was shocked that items in the store were advertised as a good quality wood , but furniture what been delivered made of carton. The quality was even worse then IKEA, but more expensive. . I had to wait 3 months for them to send my money 4 k back.

Chris Payne wins the worst GM in the country ! He offered and said to my face in person that he would help my parents get another replacement or money back for their recliner chair that they bought for 817.48 $ . They falsely advertise many things in this business. For starters when purchased they said 3 to 6 weeks . Then said it would be 3 months . Chair started having problems the first year during the covid shut down so how were we supposed to even get anything done when corporate would not even answer the 1800# or their e mails ... and they still have not answered back our emails .. if any one out there have or had any issues I recommend to put him or the CEO Todd Wanek as well as the Director of operations Kevin Lane on blast untill they fix the issues and come up with better business practices.. and also hit up the BBB . Thank you

We ordered a coffee table and two end tables in November 2021. After numerous calls to Ashley, we finally got a call in July 2022 that the tables were in. We purchased the tables on 12 months same as cash. When the statement came last month we were being charged almost 30% interest. We called the finance company and they said Ashley would have to send in new paperwork. After placing a call to Ashley, we were told we would have to handle it ourselves. In other words, they received their money and could care less. Last year we purchased a mattress and box springs from Rooms to Go and did 12 months same as cash and the same thing happened. The first statement had interest on it. After a call to Rooms to Go, they apologized and called the finance company and got it corrected. Not Ashley Furniture. Once they receive payment, you are on your own. Will never purchase from them again!

Biggest fraud of a store ever. Being charged $200 plus for an item I didn’t purchase and do not have and they will not make it right. I honestly don’t see how they stay in business. The Alabama Attorney General and the better business bureau is my next calls.

I like that when I apply for credit I did not get it. But they had services within the store to apply for credit on a monthly payment basis.
The manager Chris Payne is a liar and he should be fired immediately for taken upon himself to cancel my online order without my permission after it was delivered in my home in order to get a sale at this store which the price was higher. His sales associate also forged my signature on the Ashley credit receipt after I told them to cancel my order. He agreed to give me the price I purchased online and refund the what he owed. I just received an notification on my credit that it was charge an additional $551.57. This store is a fraud and I'm making a police report today. You will not get away with the CHRIS PAYNE. We ordered a household amount of furniture in October of 2021. Never did we receive a single phone call that any items came in. We had to call every couple of weeks to check. On one delivery, their delivery drivers stole my wife's wedding ring off the counter. They did nothing about it, luckily we had it insured. Ashley's continued after this to ignore emails and phone calls. Finally I went into the store to pick up a $400+ dollar rug that we paid for. They pulled a dirty rug from the back. When I asked for a refund of said rug, I was told no. The last 3 tables never arrived. I called again in the beginning of JUNE 2022, was told "they do not make those tables anymore". I then asked for a refund. I was ignored for over a week. They finally provided a PARTIAL refund of price I paid for tables. AVOID THIS STORE!! They will promise you everything at the sale, then avoid you once you pay.
I ordered furniture almost a year ago, when it was finally time for them to deliver, they told me to clear the room of old furniture so that they could bring in and set up the new set I purchased... when they got here, they had the wrong parts and left averting just sitting in my bedroom unassembled for days, which left me, my fiance and our youngest daughter without anywhere to sleep. Days later they returned with the right part and set up the furniture. BUT THE DRESSER DRAWERS ARE BROKE!!!! I cleave called the store several times which told me to call customer care, I call them and they tell me to contact the store. oh also I must add they still have not given me the dresser mirror that I purchased A YEAR AGO and are telling me they don't see it on their end when I purchased it, yet I have the receipt from where it was purchased! this place is a joke

Turn the ac on. Employees lack knowledge. When telling them what my needs were I was told things were scattered throughout the store and they pointed to diffrent areas. I also didn't care much for the quality of most pieces. Will not shop at this store again.
Wish I had read all these reviews prior to my purchase! AGREE with all the negative comments. Will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley again 48 hours after my sofa was delivered, the wood frame BROKE!!! Couldn’t get anyone at the store to return call. My husband went by store and spoke to manager (Chris) Was supposed to hear from someone within 72 hours. DID NOT! Could not get phone call returned. Once I emailed Chris, he returned my call. Then directed to someone else. Had to take pictures and send in. Now waiting 3 weeks for technician to come out and look at sofa. Was told there was another sofa in stock and was being out on hold for me. Now being told technician will fix. I don’t want a repaired sofa that I am financing! I want a brand new replacement. The customer service at Ashley sucks!!!! I have never had this issue at Haverty’s furniture. Shame on me for purchasing from Ashley! Will not recommend this place to anyone. Would love my money back to go somewhere else!!!!

Oh my goodness, do you really want to hear my nightmare??!!! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! I bought my furniture on Jan 20th, 2021, still haven't received an oriental rug! They double charged me for this rug!!!! Went around n around since September! Had to go in store(at least 20 miles), because you can't get anyone to take the call!!! BEWARE, BEWARE.. I'll never ever do business with them again or ever refer this company
Was told the dining set we wanted was in stock. Come to find it it wasn’t and now they are dragging around to give us a refund. 20 business days for our refund. Their customer service is a JOKE!
I purchased 6K worth of furniture in February 2021. Coffee table delivered damaged (we noticed after they left). They still have not sent parts or replaced my table! I was told by a tech it would have to be replaced, but he would have to turn in the report. Since then (back last Spring I think?) I have asked numerous times to speak to a manager at Customer Care, which has NEVER happened. I don't understand why they cannot send a replacement. It isn't made of gold. Easy to replace. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture, which really is a shame I cannot. The store experience was wonderful. But if you cannot get decent service once the furniture is delivered then it leaves a very bad taste in ones mouth!

Call and try and get someone on the phone… made a purchase of a dining table and six chairs. Then got told to call two days later to find out the ETA on my purchase, and could not get anyone on the phone. Then called the next day to be transferred to the distribution office where I was told my order would be in in two weeks. Fast forward three weeks from now and I have called three times to talk to a person to finally get told they don’t know where my order is nor when it’ll be in. In the time of those three weeks I received a phone call from the store being told that I need to come and present two forms of identification which should have been done the day we purchased the table. Then when I showed up to give them two forms of identification I was told the same thing I was told on the phone that they do not know where my order is, but that I could have the floor model and then the store front would get my order with no form of discount if I chose that route. Buyers please be aware so that you do not have to go to the headache I am going through for a dining room table and six chairs.

Worst place ever to buy furniture. I ordered some first week of June and have been lied to several times since then an now we are in the middle of September and still don’t have all my furniture. One piece was supposed to be delivered today had email and text yesterday they would be here between 10:30-1:30 it’s now 4 and still not showed up and no phone call. I believe corporate teaches all employees to lie. Do yourself a favor and find another furniture store. It will save you a lot of headache.
they don't respect customers, they don't follow up their promises, they give you false expectations over and over and make you think about firm dates when they is not truth.. even for delivery days. The most horrible experience as a customer.

Placed an order here in May and have yet to hear anything (no delivery estimate, update, etc.) because it looks like the email had a mistype on our invoice. I have tried calling the store multiple days/times and left multiple voicemails to correct this and receive an update and have yet to have someone respond or let alone answer the phone.
I am so upset with Ashley I paid a lot of money for my furniture 8 months ago. I have received parietal deliver's over the course of these months and still have not got all my furniture. Now they delivered my sons bed frame and one of the drawers were to big . Also there is a huge scatch on the foot board they seen it and still left it at my house. I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley again.
I placed an order for a 5 piece dining set. PAID IN FULL on April 1, 2021. I was told my table was not in stock and to allow 8-12 weeks for delivery. I agreed! Fast Forward to now, on Mon. July 5th.. I called Ashley’s to get an update on my furniture. I haven’t heard nothing from them . No answer. I tried calling two more times before I left a message on the voicemail. I waited two days for a call back, nothing. So, on Thursday July 8th .. I attempted to call the store again. No answer, of course. So I called a corporate number that I got off google. After being on hold for 10-15 mins.. I speak to someone. I explained to the young lady that I would like to check on my order. She informed me that my table made it to the warehouse but has not been entered in the system yet, so she will not be able to give me a delivery date until after my order was placed in the system and then I will be placed in the order that my order was received. She told me to allow 3-5 business days and give them a call back. I explained to her that it was already hard getting someone on the phone this time, so why am I responsible for calling back.? Why can’t someone call me? By now, I’m frustrated so I asked how do I go about getting a refund? She said I would have to go in store for a refund. I informed her that that’s what I would do. I get in my truck and go to Ashley’s immediately. I get there and the guy at the desk (who seemed to not be very busy at all) seeing that I was literally the only customer in the store at the time. You would think he would answer the phone, that’s sitting at the desk but anyway I tell him I here for a refund on a purchase I made and haven’t received yet it. He entered my info in the system and told me that I would need to wait until next week to get my refund, so I can get my full amount back w/out a 10% charge. A 10% refund charge would be applied if I asked for refund before 12 weeks was up. So, confused a little.. I walk off, bc now it’s a customer behind me. I get to my truck and pull my calendar up. I made this purchase on April 1, 2021. Today is July 8, 2021. My calculations calculated exactly 14 weeks. So, I should be able to receive my full refund w/out the 10% fee today not next week. I went back in the store. Now the guy is waiting on another customer who is clearly upset just as well as me. She was telling the employee that she drove 40 miles to this store bc no one would answer the phone. And guess what else she said ? She said she have been waiting on her purchase for almost 4 months. The guy gives her a number out of Huntsville, so the lady stepped off and called the number and allowed him to assist me. I explained to him that I calculated 14 weeks since I placed my order . He tells me “I will go ahead and refund you” . Then he asked me “how did I pay?” Cash or Card? I replied cash. He said I will have to MAIL you a refund check. We don’t keep cash in the store. I’m thinking at this point, how do you all not keep cash in the store, and I paid in cash? So, he steps to the side to speak with another employee. So, now the other employee is talking to me and saying she’s about to give me a copy of my refund total amount for my check (receipt). She walks towards me and lay two papers on the counter and walk off. One of the papers was my receipt but the other receipt belong to the other upset customer who was there . This lady placed her order Mar.24th for a king size bedroom set. $4k! She put down a $2k deposit with a $2k balance left. So yea, they didn’t care nothing about our money. They treated us as if we aren’t good paying customers . It was horrible customer service! I want my money back and I will never buy anything else from here. Not to mention the county in my address was wrong on my receipt, so when I said something about it before I left .. I was told the county is correct in the system. So hopefully, that is true since I’m being mailed a check and was told by the lady to allow 10-20 days for my check to come. So I will do an update on how long it actually takes to get my refund.

After multiple purchases from this store, won’t be back. I’ve been told multiple dates for delivery, and I have to CALL THEM to find out why it’s late. Then they tell me oh it’ll be “x” number of weeks until it’s ready. COMMUNICATE with your customers!!! Remember, the people SELLING to you are ALWAYS great and friendly…but when you leave that store with a “delivery date”, they’ve got your money and don’t have to communicate with you until your furniture is in their warehouse—if it ever gets there!!
Waited since Jan due to pandemic for furniture. Finally delivered last week and guys delivering unable to assemble as they state they are not normal delivery people. They stated did not have any hardware to assemble. Normal guys not being paid per these delivery people. Bed still in pieces on the floor a week later. Manager called last week to say that he would have someone out right away with hardware and put bed together. Have spoken with store and they only have customer care number or email to refer us to. You can only leave voicemail. Terrible service
I will not ever buy again from Ashley, no matter the location. The buying process went very smooth. Before purchasing, we made sure to ask about delivery as we live about an hour away in a rural area. We were told, yes no problem. When it comes time to schedule delivery, we were told we would have to be “approved” for delivery since we are out of their normal zone and they only deliver out to my town once a month. Once finally getting a call to schedule delivery, we were told if we don’t make it work for our furniture to be delivered on their day, it would be another month before they would deliver it. We made that day work although it was extremely inconvenient. Less than a week after delivery, we found a rip in one of the cushions. We purchased this “awesome protection plan” for $250 at the time of checkout. I emailed the customer service email and was immediately emailed back saying no problem and they would order the casing to fix it and once that came in to email back to get on the calendar to get it fixed. After the casing came in, I was told a 3rd party tech would be reaching out to me in the next 7-10 business days to schedule the repair. After 14 business days, I emailed the customer service team back asking for an update. I was then told that I would have to call their scheduling team to pickup my sofa because they have no tech in my area. When on the phone with the scheduling team, I was told I have to yet again be “approved” for pickup due to it being out of their normal zone. At this rate, it could be 4-8 weeks before I get my couch returned to me repaired. I am extremely unsatisfied with this process and will not purchase from Ashley Homestore again.
I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again and anyone who is considering it, don’t! I paid a lot of money for a power reclining couch and loveseat plus a warranty. The couch arrived broken to my home 3 months ago! No one has done anything. The lack of communication has been horrible!! I was given a case number and have talked to customer care so many times I’ve lost count. It’s always a different person and they agree to stay involved until it’s resolved and I typically don’t hear from them again. I’ve called, sent emails with pictures, chatted with them on the FB messenger app... nothing works. They agree to send repair companies and after my husband or I take off work to be available for a 4 hour time frame and confirm appointment times, no one ever shows up, calls back, nothing! This cycle has been repeated 3 times now. I still have a couch I can’t use which is insane, because it should be replaced! It’s under the manufacturer’s warranty AND I also purchased a warranty. It’s been nothing but a headache dealing with this company. All I want is usable furniture and I don’t even know what else I can do to get something done. Shopping here was a waste of time and money! Don’t do it!
I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again and anyone who is considering it, don’t! I paid a lot of money for a power reclining couch and loveseat plus a warranty. The couch arrived broken to my home 3 months ago! No one has done anything. The lack of communication has been horrible!! I was given a case number and have talked to customer care so many times I’ve lost count. It’s always a different person and they agree to stay involved until it’s resolved and I typically don’t hear from them again. I’ve called, sent emails with pictures, chatted with them on the FB messenger app... nothing works. They agree to send repair companies and after my husband or I take off work to be available for a 4 hour time frame and confirm appointment times, no one ever shows up, calls back, nothing! This cycle has been repeated 3 times now. I still have a couch I can’t use which is insane, because it should be replaced! It’s under the manufacturer’s warranty AND I also purchased a warranty. It’s been nothing but a headache dealing with this company. All I want is usable furniture and I don’t even know what else I can do to get something done. Shopping here was a waste of time and money.
I ordered a recliner over 2 months ago and has not come in yet I called last week to find out why it was not delivered on the 14th as promised I was told that they would deliver this week today is Friday have tried for three days to reach someone and no one will call me back and I don't imagine I'll get a call back today
I placed an order on-line for a dining room table set in April and delivery was set for mid-May (6-weeks) and I was fine with that. Table was supposed to be delivered a week ago and it wasn’t. No call to say it was going to be late or anything, I had to call them to find out what was going on with my order and reschedule my delivery date. So fast forward to today delivery was set for between 10am-1pm and once again no delivery. I’ve called them several times today and the first time they were behind schedule, the second time they were in route, third time (an hour later) they were still in route, and the last call they told me someone had called several time and didn’t get an answer and they even knocked on the door and no one answered. They even had a picture of my car in the driveway. So that means you came by, took the picture, and left. I haven’t left home at all today and I haven’t had any missed calls! My time is important and this was a total disrespect of my time. Customer service and timely delivery is not their strong point. This is very disappointing and this is my last time shopping with Ashley Furniture! Future shoppers beware. If you want your furniture in a timely manner, this is not the store to purchase from!
The actual buying experience was pleasant but my order was SUPPOSED to be at the store for pick up 4/29 (items were ordered early March), then changed to 5/16, the. Changed again to undetermined. When I asked for my money back, they asked for a 10% restocking fee. Absolutely ridiculous. Not my fault you didn’t get the order completed. You can only blame Covid for so long, then what’s the excuse?? This is why it’a a dying business and I never see anyone in their stores. Super disappointed.

I bought a tv stand on January 13. The actual in store experience was good. I was told it would take up to 8-12 weeks for delivery. Each time I call to check on it, they extend the delivery date. It is March 24 and I have been told now that it will not be ready till April 26. I have asked for the floor model on Monday and it is now Thursday and I have not heard back. I am very upset that one piece of furniture is taking this long. I can wait till the end of April, but who is to say they won’t tell me it will be end of May. I plan to go up to store today. If something can’t be worked out , I am getting a refund. I will take my business elsewhere and NEVER do business with Ashley again.
I will absolutely never shop here again, I order a kitchen table and a coffee table and tyler ray our sales rep only order our kitchen table and not the coffee table while convincing us to sign up for the protection plan (which we only wanted for the coffee table). Costumer service is extremely lazy and wont even help us get our money back. Never shopping here again.

I do not recommend buying anything from Ashley Furniture, especially from the store in Tuscaloosa, AL. Price out the door with delivery was not honored that was given. First sales rep was nice and talked with manager to get us taken care of. We came back a few days later and the final price with delivery was not honored since the sales rep we dealt with was off and he was new and didn’t know what he was talking about according to the 2 sales reps working. They were very rude and could care less about customer service or actually making a CASH sale. So we took our money next door to Royal Furniture and got a much better deal and customer service. Oh and we also saved money.
Your experience in store will be pleasant until after you place the order. Now your nightmare starts.. I am wondering if any of these positive reviewers on the positive shopping experience in store or good pricing actually got the furniture delivered on time ? I am still waiting for mine now that it's the 12th week. And I can't reach anyone who can tell me a date and time for delivery. It's a terrible experience . =========== Update, I changed my rating from 1 star to 2 stars. My couch was finally delivered on 3/30. The actual delivery was good although it has been rescheduled 3 times. The couch has a strong smell of chemicals. Google says its normal although the chemicals can be bad. I hope the smell can be gone soon.
Nice ppl. Gave a 14" mattress for the 12" price bc they were out and wanted to take 1 home. Disappointed bc bed wasn't there and due to COVID could be 8-12 weeks b4 delivered

My husband and I recently went into Ashley Furniture store in Tuscaloosa. The sales person, Joseph Sellers, was amazing! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! We told him what we wanted and he was able to help us find exactly what we needed! A major plus was the finance offer we received!!! I highly recommend Tuscaloosa Ashley Furniture Homestore. Be sure to ask for Joseph Sellers! He will help you find what you need!! UPDATE customer service is horrible! Inspect your furniture when delivered! We are still waiting on service on a simple coffee table! Bought in February. Here we are mid October! And forget trying to speak to a customer service manager!! They do not care about you. Steer clear of stores in Alabama that have been licensed by Ashley. I have a recliner that was 2 months old and the wires were being pulled out of the motor as well as part of the metal reclining mechanism that is actually broken. I called the store, who gave me a number to call customer care. I have called and emailed photos as requested and they will not even respond to the email nor call back. The store manager has even emailed a supervisor, and still no return call. Since they are a licensed store, Ashley homestores corporate headquarters can't/won't do anything due to "license agreement". Please understand I have spent hours trying to resolve this, and all I get is an excuse that my claim is still being reviewed. I have a very uncomfortable, as well as useless "non recliner", hope I have helped you avoid the same disappointment.

Terrible experience here. I’ve been on the phone with “customer care” and the actual store for 2 hours and 15 minutes trying to get my problem solved. The only time they have good customer service is when they’re trying to make a sale. Absolutely no help for the problem I called about. Highly dissatisfied. Throw the whole store away.

If possible, no stars would be entered on this review. This store is the WORST! I placed an order back in June 2020 for a dining set. Was told it would be in within 4-6 weeks. Around my 6 week mark, I called the store to confirm and they stated the delivery was pushed out to September 28th. No one ever called me with updates. I called again yesterday, 09/17/20, checking on my dining set. Not only did they tell me it’s been pushed back to November 2020 but the incorrect package was ordered for my dining set. I’ve been going back and forth between the store and customer care trying to get my order canceled And refunded. The store manager stated I would have to pay a 10% restocking fee. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store. I will never shop at this store again. Update: The store ended up delivering the display on 09/22. I’m content but won’t shop at this store again.

There should be a ZERO stars option. I ordered my furniture on May 31, 2020. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. On week 7, July 13th, I called asking about a delivery date and I was told it would shipped on July 31st. On week 11, August 17th, I called again and was told the chair was in the store, but not the rest of the furniture. The manager (Dez) assured me it would be delivered on August 25th and of course it wasn't. I cancelled the order on August 26th. I will never shop their again. I waited almost 3 months for 2 pieces of furniture.

My experience at Ashley in Tuscaloosa, AL was amazing. Johnnie Jones is the best salesperson I have encountered in a long time. He was so patient and helpful and he made sure I left with every deal possible. I will definitely visit this store again for my furniture needs. Edit: 2 and a half months later and I have not received a piece of my furniture. Every time I inquire about it the date gets pushed back. I finally went up to the store and they canceled my order without my consent and said nothing about returning my $100 delivery fee. This is the worst service I’ve ever had. Do not shop here. You will be waiting on the furniture the rest of your life. What’s the point of getting a good deal if you never get what you purchased. Ridiculous.

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. We even offered to buy the same specific couch off of the sales FLOOR and we were given a hard no because it was a "big selling item for the store the week of Labor Day." Labor Day is a month out. If I could give this place -1000 stars I would. The manager made no attempts to correct the mistakes made and gave us NO reassurance that we would even receive our couch at all before September! Go somewhere else to make your furniture purchases. This place is an absolute scam and joke, not to mention the floor sales representatives are only in it for the commission.

I have had the WORST experience with them. I ordered my sectional at the beginning of June. I told the salesperson I wanted the ottoman. Weeks later I reviewed my receipt. There was no ottoman listed. Instead there was a warranty I didn’t ask for. I was told originally 3-5 weeks for delivery. Then I was told 4-6. I then called back and was told July 24th the entire set should be in. I called on the 26th and that date changed to August 8th, which is 10 weeks from my original order date. For my inconvenience I was refunded the delivery fee. I was also told that they would swap the warranty for the ottoman and cover the difference. Well then the delivery date for the ottoman was OCTOBER 31st. After I’ve already waited over 2 months for the couch. And they don’t do partial deliveries. I would have to wait for the ottoman to get the couch if I chose to keep it. Overall this has been a terrible experience and I will not be shopping here against

Worst experience ever. We bought couch and chair week before Memorial Day. They never called us to update us on our furniture or deliver. Still waiting on the chair. I had to call them and make them put us on the delivery schedule for our couch. Called the store today and the phone was set on the counter so they could finish having their funny conversation. The lady was rude. It is hour past the waiting time still no couch.

I was BEYOND just please with my experience here. Being young and buying furniture for the first time for my new apartment was sorta nerve wrecking but Logan made it all the better!! She was very knowledgeable on different types of sectionals and couches they had in stock and what was on sale and what wasn’t and she helped me pick out a payment option that worked with me! She even stayed 40 minutes after she was supposed to get off to finish out my purchase and even told me not to look at my phone (to see the time)!! She let me drag her around the store and sit on all the sectionals she showed me at least twice a piece and she happily obliged. I will recommend her to everyone in Tuscaloosa!

The Ashley Furniture in Tuscaloosa is HORRIBLE! Their customer service has been awful. I was told by Mia that my sofa would be delivered in less than 2 weeks. Since I was moving that was perfect. Not only was it not delivered I was given the run around by management for almost two weeks. I will never shop there again!

We purchased $2300 worth of furniture (dresser, chest, 2 night stands, coffee table, 2 end tables, kitchen table with 4 chairs, a bar with 2 bar stools, and an 8x10 area rug,) on February 29, 2020. We have been given the run around ever since. The furniture (all besides the rug) was supposed to be in on March 3. When we heard nothing from them, we called. They set up a delivery date for March 10 between 8-11 am. 11 am comes around and NOBODY has shown up or called. So we called them, AGAIN. They had cancelled the delivery without tell us. They then gave us the date of March 14 and they would text us a time. No one ever told us a time, Saturday rolls around and again NOBODY shows up or calls. So we call just wanting our money back at this point., and she told us we had to wait til Monday for a refund. Fine. So today (March 16) comes around and we call for our refund only to be told it has to be in a check and it would take up to THIRTY days for it to get to us. So while we are trying to figure all of this out the lady on the phone with us from Ashley furniture HUNG UP on us. So we then called corporate, and now we have to wait ANOTHER 48 hours for the store manager to call us. This is by far the absolute worse customer service we have ever received. I 110% DO NOT recommend buying from here.

Went with my mother today to purchase a bedroom set (her first full set). We first went to Royal and then we went to Ashley. Samuel and Chris offered us great customer service. They were awesome. However, the prices that was given at Royal furniture could not be matched and the product purchased would only take 4 days to receive. Ashley appears to be a consumer friendly store but the prices are not what it appears to be. Also, why should you have to put any money down when you have an account with the Ashley or one of its lending partners? I have purchased furniture from Ashley but the wait time was ridiculous.

Ken Coleman was absolutely amazing! After just moving across the country, she was a pleasure to work with and helped me with matching things for my new sofa and love seat. Although I came in just for those items, she was able to help me with finding a matching TV stand within my budget and made sure that I was totally satisfied with my purchase. I will be doing more business here at the Tuscaloosa location and will for sure ask for Ken directly.

Please don’t go we ordered furniture missing an end table they admitted it wasn’t delivered but the driver closed the ticket this happened on December the 4th they said can’t give me my end table because ticket was closed and no one can get it back open. Go to their face book wish I had before shopping with them a lot of people had the experience they are nice until you paid for your furniture . Told them they can pick up the furniture got told once it’s in your house it’s yours nothing they can do
Purchased a rug with cash. They told me they had it in warehouse and I would have it in 7 to 10 business days. Needless to say it they did not since it was a clearance item. Had to make a complaint with the BBB to get my money back. Just got it in the mail. It took almost a entire month. Ridiculous!! So heads up!

We bought a matress a couple of years ago and bought the extended warranty on it. The matress starting sinking in in the middle we followed their procudure and they told us it was take five to seven business days to get the warranty replacedment approved. It took almost two months. We finally got to go pick out another matress. was told it wouldnt take but a couple days to get it in and then they would deliver it. In the mean time we bought almost 5,000.00 in new furniture. We are going on almost three weeks and stll no mattress. We called the warehouse in Birmingham like we where instruced to do and talked with Crystal, I have never talked with a more disrespectful person in my life. They have a truck coming in on September 12 but she said they couldn't get the mattress on it. And it wouldn't be delivered until the 20th which will be putting us close to three and half months dealing with this. Crystal wouldn't help us out at all. She could care less. Now Mia Washington at the Tuscaloosa was wonderful but she couldn't do a thing either so Ashley furntire and Crystal we have now cancelled our 5,000. order we just placed and will be going to Spiller Furniture from here on out. If you cant take of your customers any better than that then you don't deserve me as a customer

If I could give zero stars and alert the few who browse google reviews I would. This company has no idea what customer service means in any sense of the word. They are utterly clueless in what is actually happening with any order placed. They have no idea why it's important to notify a customer that their order has been pushed back when you are expecting it at a certain time. They probably did not even place my order(that's what it sounded like). So on top of that, they actually had my order backwards in what was being pushed back, but said I could cancel this order and get something else....to only wait another 4-6 weeks.Then to make it better, they did nothing. Then when I finally could confirm my delivery, they send it to the wrong place only to tell me that they can't send it to the right place... might as well run the place without people.

To be honest, we went to Royal Furniture first thinking we would get a better deal. We left there with a bad taste in our mouth and walked over to Ashley. Janiece was a pleasure to work with and gave us a MUCH BETTER deal and a MUCH BETTER experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Jenesis at the Tuscaloosa store. I had to shop over the phone and via text because I was long distance and I needed furniture very quickly and only could get things that were in stock. Jenesis went above and beyond in helping me, sending pictures, options of what was in stock at the warehouse and what was in store that I could get right away. She even helped me when I changed my mind to switch to different pieces. She answered my calls and texts right away and answered or got answers to everything I ask. She even stayed late so that I could complete my order. Jenesis is a great asset to Ashley furniture. Everything you would want in a good salesperson. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. I ordered 3 beds and waited 8 weeks for delivery. They sent a full size bed frame when I had ordered a Queen. I called the store manager who told me I could wait another 8 weeks for the correct size. My other option is to go into the store and find a bed that is in stock and wait another 18 days for delivery. That’s just unacceptable! I’ll be in the store today for a refund! Horrible service!!
Ordered a sectional couch from here. Drove an hour to their warehouse because they would not deliver to the store closest to me. Now I’ve been waiting for an hour in their parking for them to load it up. Just checked and they have still not even looked for the couch. Will not be back. No updates are given by their people. Just have to keep walking back in and asking.
Colby was GREAT in assisting with my purchase, once the transaction was complete, I was informed it will take 3 - 6 weeks for delivery of 2 accent chairs, I couldn't phantom why so long, so I figured the store provide an exaggerated date just in case something happens idk...Well to my surprise they were head on my chairs were purchased on 4/9 and delivered 5/6.....WOW!!!

Was hired to help sell furniture at this location. Pre-screen drug test showed cannabis and the tester confirmed it was prescribed for a necessary medical condition from a credible physician. I get a call from their corporate office and told me I can't work there "because we don't hire drug addicts". I explained to her that in California it's legal and I'm under a prescription for my life-threatening illness. She got even more attitude and made me feel horrible for being a patient. I wouldn't buy anything here even if it were the last furniture set on the planet.
I had originally given them a pretty good review. That was before I am still waiting for a night stand. Its been over 3 weeks. I was told I would have it on the 2nd of January after waiting a week before. So by the time it should be here on the 15th. That is way to long to wait for a night stand. It has been in Bessemer for 2 weeks. Customer service is not on there list once something is paid for. Furniture had to be touched up with a black marker. Thanks to the driver. He was very helpful and nice by the way. I would recommend ordering and looking over purchase before signing off on it. And don't even think about asking the manager to call you. I finally called back to speak to him for 2nd time, but he or she was busy. I guess I will just keep waiting on this night stand. And will be looking for markings on it.

Came into showroom on January 25th. Treated with respect, bought a couch and chair and haven't seen the product yet. Apparently when you pay and leave the showroom, then they simply don't care. When you call to find out where your furniture is, all they want to do is pawn you off to delivery. After numerous calls and being told "delivery will contact you", I finally demanded to speak to a manager who only wants to blame the process and nothing he can do. No one ever reached out to us to let us know the status, and during a couple of the calls we were told the furniture was in the warehouse on February 14th and delivery will contact us... but no call! Then today I hear oh the couch won't be here till March 11th and expect another week after that for delivery. Very bad service and we STILL don't have furniture. The quality is not worth the wait!
I purchased a recliner on December 22 and still had not received it as of today, February 22. I called about it every week and was given a different delivery date every time. I went back to the store today and they offered me the floor display but without any sort of discount. Not even the delivery fee I had already paid for the new recliner. The manager was rude but I left with a full refund. Never going back.

I will never do business with this company again, I have been waiting on delivery for a whole month not only that when they finally delivered my bed they was missing my box spring.The manager tried to offer me a used one off his floor just unprofessional please don’t waste your time doing business with this company.
NEVER SHOP HERE!! We ordered furniture and TWO months later we were told it was ready for pickup. When we went to pick up only one out of three items were ready for pick-up. (The love seat had been “lost”) Arrangements were made for the lost items to be delivered. TWO weeks later, we were contacted that one item was ready for pickup—-not delivery as we had arranged. The manager was called, he said their system had been down and he would call back that night or no later than the following day. After no return call we went to the store. The manager Chris Oremo was very rude and not helpful at all. The salesman, Brandon was trying to come up with a solution, but the manager was unwilling to take any responsibility or act like he even cared. He was very rude and we ended up canceling our order. Do NOT waste your time and money at this store.

The purchase process was easy but delivery hasn't happened yet. Been waiting since purchase date of November 2. Delivery date was scheduled 12th of December. Plenty of time to set up Christmas. Right? No furniture yet and they don't know when. Ugh!!! Okay. Finally got furniture on the 10th of January. BTW, return calls are not their best feature after the sale.

On 3/14/2018 I purchased (CASH $1874.19 pieces) which included a $398 plus tax accent chair with an $199 platinum insurance plan from Ashley Furniture Store at 701 Skyland Blvd, Tuscaloosa AL. I’ve had chair less than a year and I noticed that the pillow was sitting irregularly as I moved the pillow I discovered that the lining/seams had became unraveled and torn form the chair’s base. I phoned Ashley”s Customer Care Center with my concerns and was told that the store warranty would still be in affect. I was instructed to send pictures as I did. A few days later I received call that store would not cover but Platinum Plan would. I reached out to Platinum Plan and long story short was volleyed back and forth between the two Ashley & Platinum Plan to be told neither would cover (what was in my opinion) a manufacturers defect. My reason to this recommendation it to inform others that I recommend NOT TO PURCHASE from Ashley and if they choose to do so that they thoroughly check furniture before they accept. I also recommend NOT TO PURCHASE Platinum Plan it’s USELESS and so Is Ashley HomeStore in my opinion. I’m a disabled Veteran on set income that purchase the items because they appealed to my liking and I was in need of new long lasting furniture. I never thought or dreamed I would spend good money on my opinion BAD FURNITURE/OR INSURANCE PLAN. PLEASE BEWARE. I’ve reached out all the way to Corporate which hasn’t returned my call. No I’m going to look at legal options. Buyers beware.
Very friendly staff, not pushy like most furniture stores! Prices are very reasonable and a wide selection of furniture. There's even a Roll Tide limo inside!
