Came back to the store today after shopping around other stores and decided to purchase the dining table we’ve been eyeing on from Ashely’s. David was thankfully there today and I was out within 10 minutes. The rest of the staff were super friendly and very welcoming as well.

DT listened to a brief rundown of my story and helped us pick things that fit the budget, the apartment and my 11 year olds desires 😀 The selection of items was enough to make it hard but not too much that it made it impossible! I went looking for lamps and they had several pairs at a reasonable price! very happy I decided to check there before I ordered online.

This has to be the best place to buy furniture here in Anchorage. Its not just the quality. Its the people working inside. A coach didn't fit in my apartment hallway. But the delivery guys did their best to try. It didnt work. Yet I went in and reselected in less than an hour. I want to thank Dartanian personally for helping me out with returning and getting the new coach to be delivered in less than 2 days.

Excellent displays and customer service. The salesmen I dealt with were very friendly and easy to deal with, But prices are double what they are in the lower 48, and a local delivery fee of $149 is outrageous! Lowe’s delivered my large appliances for $29 and they are the same distance away. Do better on your delivery costs. $50 is reasonable for delivering two dressers. Not $149. Jeez. I almost feel punished for purchasing from you. I would have walked away happy if the delivery fee was less, but it makes me feel ripped off on top of the high prices. Bought the below dressers in the Robbinsdale style. Spent $2300 and had to pay $149 to have it delivered 5 miles away. Not a very good shopping experience. When they delivered, they delivered a child sized chest and not the one that I had purchased. Another 3-5 weeks to receive the correct one now.

By far the best experience we have had at a furniture store, the staff was extremely helpful with our furniture needs and was not hovering during our shopping experience which was very nice. The sale was quick and easy, and when the furniture unfortunately didn't fit into our weird apartment hallway, Ashley's was extremely understanding and helped us with our refund. We very much appreciated our sales associates Dartanian and Zaya for their help along this process. We will definitely be returning here for future furniture needs.

This shopping experience was unlike ALL the others that my wife and I have had at other furniture stores. The showroom was much larger than the outside of the building eluded to. When we were looking at furniture at other stores we were immediately bombarded by sales people. At Ashley's we were left to our own devices. Some people might see this as off-putting but my wife and I prefer to look at what we may want to purchase without the added pressure that sales people inadvertently impose. When we narrowed our selection down to two pieces we then asked for a sales person. We were assisted by Derrick who wasn't pushy and did not take my side or my wife's. He stayed neutral. When dealing with him it felt more like talking with a family member and not a sales person. He informed us that if we wanted to take our selection home that day we would need to let him know as soon as we came to an agreement. This was not to be pushy but it was due to the fact that the warehouse would be closing soon. In the end my wife got the piece that "spoke" to her and I got to leave with my sanity intact. Overall a great experience.

My partner came through the store a week ago while shopping for other items, sat on some couches, was helped by an excellent service representative, DT Chavira, and came away from that experience thinking we should get a new couch. He nailed it and knew exactly which couch she had identified—even remembered we needed it shipped via AML to SE Alaska. Started off extremely well. However, when I had to do a return, the sales associate in charge of my order did not return my stuff right away. This left a balance on my credit card that I utilized with them. This had a negative impact on my credit score. I will never shop at this place again. They are Conman and terribly unethical. the sales associate said I left him with the impression that I was going to come back in and do a swap which I never said. I talked about coming in to look at more furniture. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism that was shown to me and the negative effects on me as well. Edit** I spoke with the manager of the sales associates and was given incredible service. She listened well, dialogued with me, and was very helpful. I have changed my review to five stars due to this level of service.

I recently had to replace furniture purchased from another company here in Anchorage (I'm officially done purchasing from there) and I've have had nothing but a great experience at Ashley's. Very chill sales associates, no crowding or over selling. Great communication from Mr. Earl while waiting for our bed frame to arrive, it arrived on time and the technicians were INCREDIBLE. Not sure if this review for the techs who installed our furniture is for Ashley's or if they are a separate company, but seriously 10 out of 10. Tom helped us get rid of our previous bed frame (they did not have to do that!), they were very patient while we maneuvered around the corners to get into the room, and they came back to show us how to use the built in lights on the remote. Best furniture installation experience ever. So far so good. Great quality bed at a really affordable price. Thank you, Ashley's! We'll be coming back for all our furniture needs.

On Friday, I visited the store to browse and check prices on various items. Throughout the process, I was candid with Robert regarding our intention to simply look around, and I was pleased that he did not pressure us into making any purchases. I returned on Sunday with my husband, and after thoughtful consideration, we decided to buy a set for both the living room and kitchen. Robert was extremely helpful, responding to all of our inquiries and even taking the time to measure the furniture to ensure it would fit in our home. We are grateful for the space he allowed us when discussing our options and his attentiveness when we required assistance.

Super helpful and friendly staff, they answered all of our questions and let us browse around the store peacefully until we chose the items we wanted to buy. We have now purchased a living room set, a mattress, and a dining room table set. The furniture is quality, and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back when we need new furniture.

The sales experience was good with one exception. One sale person told me that I would be getting a military discount asa retiree. They would then not give that discount when I cashed out. They said the previous sales person was mistaken in that they do not give the discount to retirees…only current active duty. The price was decent regardless but it still felt like a bait and switch.

I purchased a bed here about 10 years ago. They were great then & are great now! Excellent customer service both times. I went in to buy a couch for my new apartment. Earl met me at the door & asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. He showed me all several options, exactly what I had in mind! I then proceeded to sit on every couch in the store, just in case. Earl answered all my questions & gave me space to check everything out at my own pace & felt no pressure. I ended up with a lovely couch & would highly recommend coming here & asking for Earl.

The prices of the store were beyond reasonable. Derrick helped us furnish our home and went above and beyond to fit our needs with out being pushy. We live on base and are able to get delivery in a sensible time frame. Some of our order wasn't in stock currently so we'll have to wait for part of it, but because we purchased everything in one order we only have to worry about a single delivery fee. Store is very military friendly and offers a military discount, so remember to ask about if your family qualifies, because our family was able to save a pretty penny!!! We plan on going back for future purchases.

Went to all the usual furniture stores in Anchorage looking for fairly specific bedroom furniture. Earl at Ashley was very quick and efficient at pinpointing what they had in stock, and what was available to be ordered that fit our parameters. Although they didn’t have to item in-store, he told us who did so we could go check it out in person, would definitely go to him for our future furniture needs.

I was immediately approached by an amazing young man, who was not only helpful in ordering me the exact piece I wanted ( as it was sadly not in stock) but he had an extensive knowledge about the product and offered me options on the design I was not aware were available. I’m very pleased with our experience shopping in response to Labor Day Sale flyers. Ashley Home Center salesmen Dezel and Jay were very helpful answering questions by phone and in person. The process for picking up the purchase was made simpler with a map but Jay showed the store location to explain in greater detail how to find the warehouse. I’m hoping a street address for the warehouse could be on the map. It was easy to have the boxed item loaded into our vehicle. We found assembly instructions on the website and successfully completed the assembly. So far we are happy with our purchase and would shop at Ashley Home Center again.

I just bought a new bedframe and nightstands. Jay Smith was a great! He gave me the space I needed but was there to help me make a make a great well informed decision.

I gotta say I’m a little bit upset with my last purchase of some lamps I bought. Website shows $89.99 for a set of 2. I get it that the Alaska store won’t honor the online price but they shouldn’t be advertising as if you can buy 1. The price was $79.99 per lamp and I paid the $159.98 but what ticked me off is when I went to pick them up, both lamps were clearly in one box and the quantity said 2 as in a set. I do the best I can to support my local stores but this type of stuff makes me want to start looking around online and find a retailer who will ship here to Alaska without the extra markup.

Good customer service, the gentleman who serviced us was very knowledgeable. Knew the exact type of wood and what every piece of furniture we asked him about was made out of. He was honest with pricing and was readily available. Overall a good experience and they had good discounts that made things affordable for my wife and I, after just having started our life.

Once we decided on what we wanted, Jay guided us through the whole process of buying a couch, making sure to tell us our options on financing and the pros and cons of each one. After deciding how we will pay, the process to finalize the purchase was very smooth and stress free. Overall 10/10 experience.

I visited Ashley’s to purchase a sofa within a certain budget. Jay, the salesperson who assisted us, was super helpful and answered all our questions, while also allowing us to view all the furniture without any pressure. Some salespeople can seem pushy but everyone at this store was very respectful and made themselves available for any questions as needed. We much appreciated Jay’s help!

Jay was very helpful. He greeted us promptly, answered our questions and showed us choices for what we were looking for and then left us to discuss to remove pressure on our decision. When we decided he helped us with purchase and delivery options. It was nice not to be followed around the store while we were deciding.
