This has to be the best place to buy furniture here in Anchorage. Its not just the quality. Its the people working inside. A coach didn't fit in my apartment hallway. But the delivery guys did their best to try. It didnt work. Yet I went in and reselected in less than an hour. I want to thank Dartanian personally for helping me out with returning and getting the new coach to be delivered in less than 2 days.

I went into the store the last 15 min before they closed and Zara was such a big help to us! We found what we wanted pretty quickly and she was able to put it together quickly that we left a minute before they closed! Definitely recommend working with her!

Zaya did an amazing job answering my questions and getting my item ordered. I think i visited this location three times before I made a decision and Zaya actually remembered me. I am grateful for the patience and grand customer service. The delivery fee was more than I expected, however I'm not interested in carrying anything so I paid it.

Excellent displays and customer service. The salesmen I dealt with were very friendly and easy to deal with, But prices are double what they are in the lower 48, and a local delivery fee of $149 is outrageous! Lowe’s delivered my large appliances for $29 and they are the same distance away. Do better on your delivery costs. $50 is reasonable for delivering two dressers. Not $149. Jeez. I almost feel punished for purchasing from you. I would have walked away happy if the delivery fee was less, but it makes me feel ripped off on top of the high prices. Bought the below dressers in the Robbinsdale style. Spent $2300 and had to pay $149 to have it delivered 5 miles away. Not a very good shopping experience. When they delivered, they delivered a child sized chest and not the one that I had purchased. Another 3-5 weeks to receive the correct one now.
The sales associate was very helpful, sending multiple pictures of the furniture I was interested in and answered all of my questions promptly. I have purchased from Ashley's in the past and will continue doing so in the future.

By far the best experience we have had at a furniture store, the staff was extremely helpful with our furniture needs and was not hovering during our shopping experience which was very nice. The sale was quick and easy, and when the furniture unfortunately didn't fit into our weird apartment hallway, Ashley's was extremely understanding and helped us with our refund. We very much appreciated our sales associates Dartanian and Zaya for their help along this process. We will definitely be returning here for future furniture needs.

This shopping experience was unlike ALL the others that my wife and I have had at other furniture stores. The showroom was much larger than the outside of the building eluded to. When we were looking at furniture at other stores we were immediately bombarded by sales people. At Ashley's we were left to our own devices. Some people might see this as off-putting but my wife and I prefer to look at what we may want to purchase without the added pressure that sales people inadvertently impose. When we narrowed our selection down to two pieces we then asked for a sales person. We were assisted by Derrick who wasn't pushy and did not take my side or my wife's. He stayed neutral. When dealing with him it felt more like talking with a family member and not a sales person. He informed us that if we wanted to take our selection home that day we would need to let him know as soon as we came to an agreement. This was not to be pushy but it was due to the fact that the warehouse would be closing soon. In the end my wife got the piece that "spoke" to her and I got to leave with my sanity intact. Overall a great experience.

Really enjoyed our entire experience with Ashley. My partner came through the store a week ago while shopping for other items, sat on some couches, was helped by an excellent service representative, DT Chavira, and came away from that experience thinking we should get a new couch. I called up a week later to the store and when speaking with DT, it only took a few quick comments for him to determine which random shopper came through the store and had asked about a certain couch. He nailed it and knew exactly which couch she had identified—even remembered we needed it shipped via AML to SE Alaska. Started off extremely well. However, when I had to do a return, the sales associate in charge of my order did not return my stuff right away. This left a balance on my credit card that I utilized with them. This had a negative impact on my credit score. I will never shop at this place again. They are Conman and terribly unethical. the sales associate said I left him with the impression that I was going to come back in and do a swap which I never said. I talked about coming in to look at more furniture. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism that was shown to me and the negative effects on me as well. Edit** I spoke with the manager of the sales associates and was given incredible service. She listened well, dialogued with me, and was very helpful. I have changed my review to five stars due to this level of service.

I recently had to replace furniture purchased from another company here in Anchorage (I'm officially done purchasing from there) and I've have had nothing but a great experience at Ashley's. Very chill sales associates, no crowding or over selling. Great communication from Mr. Earl while waiting for our bed frame to arrive, it arrived on time and the technicians were INCREDIBLE. Not sure if this review for the techs who installed our furniture is for Ashley's or if they are a separate company, but seriously 10 out of 10. Tom helped us get rid of our previous bed frame (they did not have to do that!), they were very patient while we maneuvered around the corners to get into the room, and they came back to show us how to use the built in lights on the remote. Best furniture installation experience ever. So far so good. Great quality bed at a really affordable price. Thank you, Ashley's! We'll be coming back for all our furniture needs.

When purchasing my coffee table, they told me 3 weeks. 5 weeks later and theyre telling me it’s going to be another month. It does not take two months to ship something to alaska. I should have been informed of the manufacture is behind so i could cancel my order and get something else

On Friday, I visited the store to browse and check prices on various items. Throughout the process, I was candid with Robert regarding our intention to simply look around, and I was pleased that he did not pressure us into making any purchases. I returned on Sunday with my husband, and after thoughtful consideration, we decided to buy a set for both the living room and kitchen. Robert was extremely helpful, responding to all of our inquiries and even taking the time to measure the furniture to ensure it would fit in our home. We are grateful for the space he allowed us when discussing our options and his attentiveness when we required assistance.
Super helpful and friendly staff, they answered all of our questions and let us browse around the store peacefully until we chose the items we wanted to buy. We have now purchased a living room set, a mattress, and a dining room table set. The furniture is quality, and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back when we need new furniture.

The sales experience was good with one exception. One sale person told me that I would be getting a military discount asa retiree. They would then not give that discount when I cashed out. They said the previous sales person was mistaken in that they do not give the discount to retirees…only current active duty. The price was decent regardless but it still felt like a bait and switch.

I purchased a bed here about 10 years ago. They were great then & are great now! Excellent customer service both times. I went in to buy a couch for my new apartment. Earl met me at the door & asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. He showed me all several options, exactly what I had in mind! I then proceeded to sit on every couch in the store, just in case. Earl answered all my questions & gave me space to check everything out at my own pace & felt no pressure. I ended up with a lovely couch & would highly recommend coming here & asking for Earl.

We live on base and are able to get delivery in a sensible time frame. Some of our order wasn't in stock currently so we'll have to wait for part of it, but because we purchased everything in one order we only have to worry about a single delivery fee. Store is very military friendly and offers a military discount, so remember to ask about if your family qualifies, because our family was able to save a pretty penny!!! We plan on going back for future purchases.

I tried for 30 mins to pull up the Anchorage AK store on the website. I put my zipcode the stores zipcode and still I kept being told to find a store. I was shopping for a sofa but your website didn't allow me to do that. So I have no confidence in my experience being better if I came in to the store.

Went to all the usual furniture stores in Anchorage looking for fairly specific bedroom furniture. Earl at Ashley was very quick and efficient at pinpointing what they had in stock, and what was available to be ordered that fit our parameters. Although they didn’t have to item in-store, he told us who did so we could go check it out in person, would definitely go to him for our future furniture needs.

I’m a busy woman and my time is precious so I usually do my homework before I shop somewhere. Already having in mind exactly what I wanted I set off to get it. It was the first thing I saw on the showroom floor upon entering; a real show stopper though not in the color I was wanting. I halted dead in my tracks determined not to look for anything else. I was immediately approached by an amazing young man, who was not only helpful in ordering me the exact piece I wanted ( as it was sadly not in stock) but he had an extensive knowledge about the product and offered me options on the design I was not aware were available. He put me so at ease with the entire experience, I’m happy to say Jay Smith has a customer for life!! I will definitely be back and will send others to this location. Truly a pleasure to work with. I’m very pleased with our experience shopping in response to Labor Day Sale flyers. Ashley Home Center salesmen Dezel and Jay were very helpful answering questions by phone and in person. The process for picking up the purchase was made simpler with a map but Jay showed the store location to explain in greater detail how to find the warehouse. I’m hoping a street address for the warehouse could be on the map. It was easy to have the boxed item loaded into our vehicle. We found assembly instructions on the website and successfully completed the assembly. So far we are happy with our purchase and would shop at Ashley Home Center again.

I just bought a new bedframe and nightstands. Jay Smith was a great! He gave me the space I needed but was there to help me make a make a great well informed decision.
I gotta say I’m a little bit upset with my last purchase of some lamps I bought. Website shows $89.99 for a set of 2. I get it that the Alaska store won’t honor the online price but they shouldn’t be advertising as if you can buy 1. The price was $79.99 per lamp and I paid the $159.98 but what ticked me off is when I went to pick them up, both lamps were clearly in one box and the quantity said 2 as in a set. I do the best I can to support my local stores but this type of stuff makes me want to start looking around online and find a retailer who will ship here to Alaska without the extra markup.

Dartanian (DT) was a great help. He didn't pester us around the store, but occasionally checked in with us if we had questions. The store has many options to look at and DT was quick to check stock options for us. There are stairs and while I saw a freight elevator, I'm not sure if they allow customers to go up and down, in case you have a handicap. Delivery to the nearby military base has less than ideal availability, but that may actually be a base restriction. We paid $125, or 150 for the delivery service which will cover delivery and set up, as well as trash removal (from boxes) per DT. Will update if anything changes.

Ashley was the third store I visited in my search to furnish the new apartment. My Sales Agent Dezel was highly knowledgeable and helpful. Simultaneously his advice to wander through the displays put me at ease. Dezel was readily available to answer questions about needs, compare choices, and offer strategic suggestions. As a minimalist I was impressed; as a Gemini choices challenge at times. Ultimately I narrowed the focus to the selection of pieces that feel perfect.

Eight months after purchase has been the true test of Ashley Store customer service for our family. Of course when you are buying the sales staff are attentive. They promise all sorts of services. The reality is, when you need them to step up and guarantee their products they scatter. Our household made two seperate purchases in May 2023. Both were covered with 5 years extended warranties. Recently my daughter's daybed broke. The cheap particle board disintegrated and snapped. After two weeks of no return reply to requests for repairs, she contacted the retail store. She was offered a several hundred dollar reimbursement for poor quality of item, bearing the inconvenience and costs of repair, since their service department was unresponsive. Days passed with continuous stalls by management to acknowledge and resolve situation offered by salesperson my daughter spoke with. We had to involve a customer experience specialist for Ashley Furniture Industries corporate office to provide oversight to our local Anchorage, location. In an underhanded move Ashley Furniture Anchorage bait and switched. They had their protection contractor, FEA Warranty Department, reach out with concerns of miscommunication and offer to fix bed. We accepted since stabilizing bed frame on our own would leave furniture with mismatched unsightly frame. Almost a week has gone by since forwarding pictures of damage and items serial number for parts with no replies from anyone. Our last resort is now to involve the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit. Be forewarned, Ashley does not honour their own warranty. Greed will be the companies downfall when Costco opens their furniture and appliance showroom. You never have hassles like this with them.

Ashley furniture gives a Veteran and Military discount. This store says they offer a military discount they have a big sign in the store saying it and then when you ask for it they deny it. When the bed frame was delivered they put it together but didn’t tighten any of the hardware. The bed frame is typical Ashley quality no complaints about the product only about the store itself.
Earl was very helpful, and polite. Asked what we were looking and pointed us in right direction. We tried a couple different couches then he pointed us to one that we did like and wound up purchasing. When we need furniture in the future we will ask for Earl again. He is a great salesman.

Great furniture store with modern selections. The staff are very nice and don't hound you like other places like bailey's. They let you look around and are polite and professional. Looked a couple weeks ago and seen what my daughter wanted and came back to purchase it, easy process. Doesn't take forever to do paperwork. The only thing was that they don't really have full size bedframes unless they order it and have to wait a couple weeks, so that's what we did. But overall, the experience was better than bailey's for me. Thank you, can't wait for the item.

Disappointed, said I needed a children's bed sets ASAP I did not have time for delivery/shipping games they assured me I will have mattresses for my kids & there sets by the end of the week. Okay I can manage a lil longer household goods backed up in move. A week goes by, days never could get ahold of anyone in the store.Finally went in person & they straight up lied to my face while I’m holding paperwork, & showing my call log. No apology, or explanation. Ended up paying on items i couldn't use. I’m over at baileys, & lazy boy. There are no statute of limitations on taking advantage of a parent trying to get mattresses for their kids.
I’ve had trouble finding couches to fit in my condo. Zaya has been amazing and patient. I must have gone into the store at least four times. Even had to return a living room set cause they wouldn’t fit. Zaya was awesome and helped me through the process and never pushed me to buy a different set. I went to every other furniture store I could find and made my way back. Awesome customer service!

Jay was extremely helpful and provided an interim solution that did not cost us any additional money until back ordered stock would arrive. While the service was excellent, I don’t feel Ashley is good value for money.

Bought a couch and a loveseat set, and I really like them, and they are good quality. I can't wait to get them into my living room. HOWEVER. This is a breakdown of my shopping experience at this store: 1. I bought them during the July 4th sale, so got a nice discount. Was told I'd be offered another 15% discount on top of that. 2. The models I wanted were being discontinued, so I had to get the floor models. There were a few spots on the couch that looked a little worn, and one piece of fabric had come undone underneath. I asked if I could get a floor model discount. The answer was no. 3. I asked if we could speak to a supervisor. She came down, and I explained the situation. She offered a 10% discount. We asked if that was on top of the sale and the extra 15% discount. She said that discontinued items got no 15% discount. I told her we'd been promised that discount, and she said, "Well, that's a problem" and that we could not get the two discounts. 4. I asked if we could have the original promise of the 15% discount because of the wear and tear on the floor models. With very poor grace, we were told yes. 5. I applied for 90-day interest free financing, which is what I was told was available to me, and was approved. We were told the store used Progressive for the financing. I was surprised when I was approved for very little, but it was still enough to cover the cost of the couches. However, when we checked out, I was presented with a bill for more than DOUBLE the cost of the couches. That was the amount I'd have to pay if I didn't pay off the 12-month loan in 90 days. I refused to sign it and asked another salesperson what I could do. He said, "Use one of our loan companies for people with good credit!" We had not been told that there were other options, so it looks like they come out of the gate with totally predatory financing. 6. I was told that the company I'd hired to pick up the couches could pick them up at the store, since they were floor models. Today my guys arrived only to be told that they could only pick up the couches from the warehouse....five days from now. I'll be very happy to get my couches--eventually--but I can't imagine I'll ever shop at Ashley again. This experience has been one frustration after another.

Ordered our table in November. Suppose receive it in February, then they said “back order” receiving it in April or June. It’s almost July and we still haven’t received anything. Called multiple time and the only thing we get is “oh the seller doesn’t work here”

The first thing that impressed my wife and I was the very friendly, but no pressure sales staff. We were met by Dezel, an incredibly helpful and courteous young man with an infectious and warm smile. As soon as we walked in, he asked us if he could be of help. My wife mentioned what we were looking for, in this case, a sleeper sofa. Dezel quickly pointed out where they could be found so we could browse in peace. But when my wife mentioned one we saw for sale at another store, Dezel showed us the exact same model which was on sale for $300 less. Needless to say, Dezel made a quick sale that day. We highly recommend Ashley Furniture in Anchorage, AK and all the sales staff; particularly Dezel! The showroom is very clean and well stocked. Everything is laid out logically, with plenty of space between furniture so one can "tryout" each piece. And all the staff we saw on the floor appeared to be very friendly and professional.
We went in not really knowing what we wanted. Mr. Earl was extremely friendly and helpful during our visit. We gave vague examples of what we wanted, then we ended up closing on very nice furniture. I would recommend Mr. Earl for your furniture needs!

I’ll start by saying the in store folks are excellent, and prices are decent. Where Ashley lost points is the back end support. We ordered two pieces from the store back in August, with a 6-month delivery date. No worries store was upfront on it. Here we are 7 months later, come to find out that Ashley still hasn’t shipped the store the order. It’s now going to be 9 months or more. We also went back recently and ended up placing an online order, because the store couldn’t get items due to Ashley’s internal BS to drive traffic on their website. Turns out one item was not what we thought, so we called to cancel. Despite two phone calls, and a chat session nothing was logged to cancel the order. We were then directed to the dumbest possible form on their website; literally a Microsoft Office form that requires 72-96 hours to process. Well despite waiting more than 96 hours, the form wasn’t handled and the item shipped. Now our card is tied up for days or weeks, waiting for it to arrive and then returned to origin (we are refusing delivery). No nationwide company I’ve ever encountered uses such an inept management system; Amazon could’ve had this cancelled in a second using an automated system, others would’ve been a call for 10 minutes and done. While I liked the store, I’m 100% sure I will never order online with this company again, and I’ll be very cautious about in store order times since they’re quite inaccurate.
I have bought several pieces from Ashley Furnishing, but outside of Alaska. We just moved back to Alaska And we went to the store to repurchase the couch we had down in the lower 48. We bought a couch, brand new onefor $500 outside of Alaska. Online, it was still $500. We got to the Anchorage store and it was $1,300. Almost triple the price. I got talking to the store and they blamed it on Alaska shipping. Which is ridiculous because Fred Mayers And Costco can get couches up here for fairly cheap... But apparently no other place will. They were friendly there, but the price at that store was ridiculous. We will not be purchasing from them. We like Ashley's furniture, but it's not so fancy to pay that price. We've owned several pieces from them and enjoyed them. But I'm not paying triple the price of what it is online.
We had a great sales person in Earl twillie. He was kind and not pushy. He was also very patient. All in all it was a pleasant experience and we came away with two reclining chairs that will work great in our new place. Now if we can get a brighter rug but oh, that's not Earl's problem lol

We hadn’t been to Ashley’s Furniture in some time, so it was a good time to get reacquainted. They have styles and colors that no one else has, these days, and we found the perfect armchair in just minutes.

Second set I purchased from here.. only issue is I've been waiting since November for my love seat to show and it just got pushed out AGAIN to the end of march...Ugh! My couch has been there for a month but no love seat..Stupid supply chain BS.

I only gave stars because the sale prices are better than in the other local stores BUT if I knew I would need to wait almost half a year for my furniture I would have paid more at a sale in a different store! Now the biggest sales are over and I’m stuck with either waiting for this store to finally deliver or go pay way more at other stores. I would never buy anything from this store again unless it is in stock locally.

The guy talked me into buying a bed cover, which is fine, but I asked the price and he said he would check, but he never told me and it was just on the bill at nearly 200 bucks which I didn't notice till I was home and using it already! Not cool!
I went in with my family and told the salesman we were looking for a sectional couch. He told me they didn't have anything like that in stock and it would have to be ordered (not that he was offering). I walked the store and found a few sectionals...but I wouldn't buy from a store that has a "we have nothing for you and can't be bothered to help you" attitude.

My buying experience with Ashley furniture and the staff has always been great I would recommend anyone to purchase items from Ashley which are Very good quality and you have the option to pick up and or have your furniture or items delivered.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! On 2/2/21, We went to the Anchorage location and bought all 3 of our kids new beds, desk, side tables, the whole setup, as we are moving into a new house. Was told by our sales person we could do the 48 month 0% finance program, but since it was what they called a "special order ", we had to put 50% down and once the items arrived, they would refund what we put down, and then finance the full amount. We got our receipt and there was no product details of what we bought, everything said special order and a note that said see notes (which we could not see). Very odd process and should have taken this as a sign of bad to come. 3/29/21 I get a call from a gentleman that was not our sales person and tells me all of our items finally arrived and he was calling to set up the delivery date. We pick the next available time of 4/6. He asked how are we going to pay for the remaining balance. Told him what our sales lady said, he said ok I will have her call you back to finish that up. After 2 days now the date is 3/31 and no call from our sales person, I call the store and ask for our sales person, I am told she is with another customer and they will have her call me back. No callback to me ever done! 4/1 I callback yet again, finally get to talk to her, and she tells me that we have to redo the application in person! 4/3 we go to the store to redo our finance app again, all to be told that the 48 month ended on 3/31!!!!! Now it is a 12 month 0% and also that we no longer could have the down-payment returned and she was misinformed when she told us this info!!!! We then move on the double check what time her her coworker set up our delivery for on 4/6, and turns out he never set it up!!! Now the next available date is for 4/9. Super annoying because we had just sold our kids beds as we though they would be without it only 4 days not 7! 4/7, I get a call from the delivery people to confirm delivery day and time with us and items... the only items on the delivery was the mattress!!! I told them all the bedroom sets are missing off that delivery, she tells me she is calling the store to find out what happened. Shortly after, another salesman from the store calls me to tell me that only the mattresses are being delivered because all of the bedroom sets were not here!!! He showed that on one of the bedroom sets our sales lady ordered the wrong side rails and that was discovered on 3/17 as that was the day the correct side raile were reordered! And now those were not expected to come in until sometime in May!!!!! I flipped! How was this discovered on 3/17, no call made to us about the mishap, but a call on 3/31 to tell us it was all here!?! I felt bad the anger had to come out on him, but when I asked for our sales lady or manager/supervisor, was told sales lady or anyone with authority there to talk to, and they would not be in until Saturday. So now he had to take the Rath of my anger and frustration! How do you not have a supervisor/manager available at anytime of day in a business like this?! The salesman said he would arrange for my other 2 kids bedroom sets to be delivered on 4/17 because that was the only day open that would work with my work schedule. The mattresses were delivered on 4/9. It is now 4/14/21, and you know what? Still no return call from the sales lady or the supervisor/manager! I will NEVER shop here again! Already told my family and friends to stay clear of here! I will go spend more money next time and go to overpriced Treeforms over Ashley/Sandlers/Williams and Kay.

My purchase was a long distance one. I was not able to make it to Ashley(3+ hour drive one way with 3 kids 4& under, no thank you) before I needed the order to be placed for my sofa to be here in time. When I called Ashley to order it, I was bummed to find out the sectional was discontinued. But, thankfully, Jay was a huge blessing in helping me pick a sectional that not only works for my family but is still being manufactured, lol. He sent me a photo of what they had on the floor that resembled my first choice and he responded to any questions I had through call and text which made it so much easier for me. Also, I like the one we are actually getting better than my first choice. I'm so excited and can't wait until it gets here!!

Walked in the door to an actually genuine (not sales-y) sounding welcome, I told him what I was in for, he showed me exactly what I was looking for and had the sale all set up in a matter of 10 minutes. (Also, while billing me up, another employee came over with a customer they were helping and says “hey bill, you remember those tables with the heaters in ‘em?” That was it, that was their full description and he responds with “oh! You mean the ones about this big, had a vent on it, stone inlay etc.” and gave the full description to which the customer replied, “yeah, exactly!” Anyways, all this to say the man knows the store, the products and how to give great customer service.) The color I wanted was black but they didn't have it anymore, Elena was great and help me find something similar but in a different color that is still to my liking. Went looking for new furniture for our new house. Was helped by Jay. He was very knowledgeable and got us taken care of and ordered the furniture we really liked. He helped us out in many other ways by offering us finance options as well as letting us know and showing us how having the furniture protected is worth getting. We will definitely return to this store and continue to do business here, especially with Jay. He didn’t push sales and didn’t follow us like a lost puppy and try to pressure into a sale. Even when a manager was dealing with a belligerent customer, all we heard was professionalism. Definitely glad we chose here to spend our money. We will be back for more in the future.

Especially when we thought we went in the store knowing what we wanted but ended up walking out with something totally different. As walked in Ashley home store I was immediately greeted & asked if I was looking in for anything in specific. I wanted to look at absolutely everything. Jay answered all of my questions he had a very calm and pleasant demeanor. Perfect person for the job felt at ease, & informed. Noted dimensions for me as well. I would want to return solely on customer service.
The sales person was Jeff Earnest. I understand that it was a busy weekend. But I had to ask Jeff if he was busy and he stated yes. But if I had questions he could answer them. I let Jeff know that I was there to purchase a couch, love seat and and additional recliner. I found a set I liked and asked Jeff, it it came in other colors or if Ashley had other sets that were similar to the on I was looking at. Jeff, seemed like I was wasting his time and showed me one other set. I stated I was go with the set I had originally looked at. I was then asked how I was going to pay for the items. I let Jef know that I would be paying by credit card. When I asked Jeff about delivery fees, if you can remove the old furniture. Jeff wasn’t very nice nor helpful about it. I like Ashley but I would not recommend anyone using Jeff Earnest. Im not quite sure if it was because I am a woman purchasing furniture without a man next to me. I assure you women of today can and do make purchases of furniture and vehicles all by themselves.
Customer service from Jay was 10 star worthy! He answered our questions, listened, and even helped us rearrange the furniture in store so we could get a feel of the layout of a sectional. My husband and I were completely satisfied with our experience shopping for a new couch. It was our first time going to Ashleys HomeStore but we will definitely be coming back the next time we need more furniture. Seemed to be a perfect balance of quality and reasonable price.

We came in from the valley after going to bailey’s and being disappointed in their selection. All we were looking for was a nice bookshelf. We found multiple options at Ashley’s. Our salesman Jay was very helpful and attentive. We ended up buying a fancy bookshelf that more than met our needs.
Never been to this store and was welcomed very warmly from Jeff Earnest, right off the bat he asked all the right questions and his selling tactics and customer service was 10/10! I am personally in the sales business and I will always give credit where it’s due. He’s a great employee and knew his product knowledge for what we were looking for and answered all of our questions perfectly. Only complaint — and I gave it a 5 star solely for the sales guy! THE WAREHOUSE. We had an appt at 310p, showed up on time, waited 40 minutes and saw multiple vehicles get helped while doing so. While we are patient to an extent, they only got moving when we went in for the third time. Also, I understand covid is happening but if we are sitting in a car for 40 minutes and I have to pee, probably should make it ok for PAYING customers to use it. ANYWAYS, GREAT JOB JEFF! Will see ya again!
Well, coming from the bush I always look for an opportunity to shop for furniture any time Im in town. However I had bought the wrong bed last year when I got home and came back to buy another bed. The guy helping us was not really in a good mood. Just the eye contact was kinda rude but I couldnt really tell under the mask. I felt like he was in a grumpy mood but I didnt take it personal. I happen to have credit with em and so this was the only place I could shop at this time. Jus wish some people would consider nice conversating or make a joke? Idk. Not a good vibe but I got what I need.

We worked with Jay and he was amazing. Gave us space to look throughout the entire store without ever feeling pressured but was always within earshot when we did have questions. We will certainly be returning and when we do we will ask for him by name.

Went to look at furniture and was assisted by Jay S. He was super friendly and really helpful - plus, he laughed at my jokes. He's a stand up gentleman. The store had lots of options for furniture. I appreciated the sales staff were all wearing masks properly and maintained social distancing at all times. Felt respected by all in the store. Just great customer service. They are a bit more expensive than Bailey's, but I wouldn't let that stop you from checking Ashley HomeStore out - they have a different feel to the shopping experience that made shopping for new furniture fun and not stressful.

Pleasantly surprised to learn this a "franchise" Ashley furniture location and not part of the chain. Yes, prices are higher than the chain's website.. but this is Alaska.. everything costs more, especially shipping, so that is to be expected. The good news is .. things that are "sold out" on the website may actually be available in the local warehouse here and thanks to that, I just found an awesome recliner couch on sale and in-stock that was otherwise sold out online. So if you're shopping online, be sure to check the local store too.. they might just have what you're looking for and their staff are pretty friendly too!

Because of COVID-19 shopping has been a bit harder. But thanks to Jay at Ashley’s Furniture store it made my shopping easier. I was able to call him about the size and color I wanted for my sons room. Over the phone i was able to get it written up for the purchase, I came in the next day paid for it after I looked at it (to make sure that’s what I wanted) an hour later I was able to pick up from the warehouse! My daughter needed a new mattress and Thanksgiving sales made them within my price range. The mattress I wanted was only available online (shipping cost more than the mattress) so Jeff helped me find a comparable option that was in stock at the ware house. My daughter loves her new mattress and is sleeping better than she has in weeks.

I dont know where these "good prices" are that everyone is talking about, but these folks are ripping people off. I realize we are in Alaska and things are more expensive, but $400 above website pricing for a recliner? That came up on a shipment with other goods, more than likely on a company truck? Do yourselves a favor folks. Purchase online because you are going to pay for the shipping on every item anyway with these mark-ups.

I definitely wouldn't trust a place that would employ the services of someone who would do this, just saying*** Visited Ashley HomeStore to find a few pieces needed in our home. Was greeted immediately by a very welcoming and helpful sales associate, Marianne. She helped my wife quickly pick out what we needed (which is a hard thing to do) and kept in contact with her and kept her updated throughout the whole entire process. As far as I am aware, they have some of the best prices in Anchorage, and I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking in this department. Ask for Marianne at the door, she'll get you what you need.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable of their inventory and let us know up front if anything was out of stock and would take a while to deliver. Will was very professional and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. And the price for each piece we purchased was awesome too. Overall a great experience. I bought a $900 bed frame less than 2 months ago and it is already broken. I called to see if I can return or something for it being defective and the lady told me no. I have only slept on my bed. Nothing werid or anything for it to already be broken.

I’ve been in this location twice for a dining table I had to wait on for shipment and Jeff was extremely helpful and professional. UPDATE!!! I walked in the house after work today and there was a package from Ashley Furniture. They mailed the Care Kit after all! AND there was a personal note from Will! Thank you very much for your kindness and for restoring my belief that Ashley is the best place in Anchorage to buy furniture! Thank you again! My husband and I purchased a new sofa from Ashley that we love. Will our sales rep was wonderful and he made sure that our experience was a great one. The sofa was in stock, so they were able to deliver it quickly. The gentlemen that brought the sofa were nice, quick and very professional. However, included in the price of the sofa and an exorbitant delivery fee was a "free" Care Kit for Leather. It was supposed to be delivered with the sofa, but was not. I do not live in Anchorage but happened to be there one afternoon and I ran in to the store to pick it up. They did not have it, but told me I could drive across town to their warehouse and pick it up there. Really? I was on my way home and couldn't just drop everything and go across town to pick up something that should have been delivered with the sofa. I asked the sales rep at the store to just have it mailed to us. She said, that would be fine and I left. A couple of days later we were called and notified that they would not mail us the kit but that we could pick it up at the warehouse in Anchorage. Again, I don't live in Anchorage. We're talking a 2-hour plus drive to pick up something again, that I shouldn't have to pick up anyway! And something they could easily put in a box and mail to me. It felt like, "okay, we have their money - end of customer service!" Love the sofa, but I am not at all happy with the customer service and the way this has all been handled.
Lied to by salesman that the $3000 furniture we ordered online was made in USA. Got it home a found its Vietnam. Cheaply made, chincy slides, foul odor hasnt subsided. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY AGAIN!

My wife and I had located a sofa that we wished to purchase, and the sales staff was great in assisting us, without using any pressure tactics.
Two different sale reps were super helpful. Really appreciated them bringing the furniture to the loading bay and making it easy for me to get it in my truck.
Horrible experience. Bed fell to the ground after having it 6 months, contacted Ashley’s to resolve the issue. They said it will be taken care of quickly, now 6 weeks later still no bed, and they are saying we won’t have one till may. They are the worse.

My complaint starts with damaged furniture we received when we picked up from the warehouse. So word of advice is to thoroughly check before you leave the warehouse if you are trying to save the money by picking up yourself. We got home saw drawers were cracked etc and had to rebox, return and then unload again into the house. Then we just waited just short of 5 weeks for a bed to come in that has missing parts. This transaction has been a nightmare, and I would like for you to know we had a lot of other furniture to purchase as we just moved and I am so happy we only bought a bedroom set. I will not ever give Ashley furniture our business again. I thought I was doing right by saving money ... well I guess you get your money’s worth here. Oh and our sales person... no help whatsoever. Shocker.

I was in search of a new sofa for my living room at Ashley’s. As soon as I walked in the door I found the right one. I’ve shopped at Ashley’s before and always found exactly what I needed! The staff was courteous, kind, knew their merchandise and was conscious of the COVID-19 virus by making sure everything was sterilized as guest entered and left the store. Also I live out by Big Lake and was shocked that their delivery charge was only $49.99. Sure beats having to trouble friends with a truck to pick up my sofa. In closing, I’ve bought furniture in the past from Ashley’s and have always been very happy with the selection and price!
After leaving another furniture store almost in tears, I had low expectations for Ashley’s. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly woman named Marianne, who was not pushy or salesy at all. She let me do my thing and gave me space, but stayed nearby to answer any questions and point me in the right direction. She went out of her way to make sure that the different pieces I was buying would match well together and gave great advice. If we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic, I could’ve (& would’ve) roamed the store all day. It was a comfortable and enjoyable experience and their furniture is high quality and well-priced. I am so very excited about my purchases and would highly recommend this furniture store.

Lots of selections but very pricey
When I walked out of the store, I felt happy with everything. Until I followed up with the 90 day lease information, and read more closely on what I was actually signing. I feel like the sales rep wasnt forthcoming with the details, or in explaining just how the 90 day lease can turn in to a 27 month lease with undisclosed interest. I'm disappointed; had the sales rep gone over the numbers with me thoroughly, mentioning details such as how much additional I am paying even if I pay it off before 90 days, versus paying it all at the store, I would have opted to pay it off then and there. I was led to believe that if I paid it off before 90 days, I would only pay the additional 49 dollars at the store. That is not what it is explained as on the lease paperwork. I feel betrayed, which is unfortunate. I can't say that I would have desire to shop there again, unless I intend to pay for my purchase in full.

A lot of miscommunication. I wasted my whole day getting jerked around by salesperson adding $299 here and $49 there. If your original salesperson is not there your new salesperson has to change something on your quote so they can "get credit" for the transaction. But that's not all! One Random sales person had the audacity to tell me he make $87,000 a year to let me know that he will be ok with or without my business. It's a shame for Asley's and a travesty to any dignified family that needs furniture.

1/21/2020 Upon reading this review, the store manager reached out and corrected the issue. He was kind, helpful and very professional. Everyone is human, and mistakes are made, but I'm definitely impressed with how they stepped up to the plate! Thank you! As another reviewer mentioned, everything was quick and painless. No issues until we brought our twin bed home today to find out that we were only buying the headboard. At no point throughout the entire process were we made aware that the frame was not included. Now, we have to pay MORE money AND make another trip to their warehouse to pick up the extra piece. Poor customer service in helping us handle this situation and we will definitely not be shopping there in the future. Edit: purchased and picked up the frame only to find out they don't even include the hardware to piece it together with the headboard.
Everything was quick & painless. Jeff took good care of me & was plenty helpful. The service was fine but the chair that was delivered was darker & not the same fabric or softness as the one I thought I bought. Probably never shop there again!

I wish I would've known my application had a high chance of getting declined before applying. I didnt learn until after going to bailey's furniture store that another sales rep told me how badly it could affect my credit. I learned something knew. Anyway, good luck.

First off I’d like to say that the environment in the store was very welcoming. Second of all the salesman Matt is a one of a kind!! This guy has his hair slicked back and a great personality!! This dude made this “couples” shopping experience pain free, like I started hyperventilating at the price of a piece my wife was looking at; and Matt just stepped in handed me a paper bag talked me through till I wasn’t gasping for air all while he talked my wife into looking at something more in our price range! Matt wasn’t a pushy person, he didn’t try talking you into something you weren’t sure of, and he is very personal all while being very professional!! Anyway Matt is a totally bad to the bone and deserves a pay raise!!!

Our sales associate Tyler was great. However, we ordered a nightstand, headboard, and chest of drawers from Ashley Furniture and we were able to pick up the nightstand and headboard same day. We were told we would get a call when our chest of drawers was in so we could pick that up at a later time. I went to pick up the chest of drawers a week later, got it home, hauled it inside just to unwrap it and find that one of the corners that had been protected under a foam piece and wrapped up, was smashed in and chipped. I called Tyler and she directed me to their “warranty” company and I was to ask for Spencer. Spencer informed me that I can pack it back up and drive it back to their store so their “master wood worker” can repair it. When I asked if they could have someone pick it up and replace it since this wasnt a warranty issue it had come damaged, he informed me that all their pieces are completely unwrapped and inspected before they leave the store so it had to be our fault that it was damaged. I am very disappointed in this and will not be buying from Ashley again. We have bought a couch, bed, dresser, two nightstands, table, and this chest of drawers and this is how they treat their customers when something is damaged. We paid good money for our bedroom set just to have a piece come damaged and told it was our fault. I don’t get how something that is protected under foam blocks and wrapped can be smashed in and chipped from being carried in a box inside a house. HORRIBLE.

Attn: this review has nothing to do with the sales people at Ashley Furniture in Anchorage, all of my experiences with them have been lovely. In early June of this year I discovered a MASSIVE amount of black mold growing on my queen memory foam mattress that I had purchased in August, 2018 from Ashley Furniture in Anchorage (the size of the mold was about 2 ft by 3.5 ft). I attempted to salvage the mattress (I am a grad student and finances are extremely tight), but it could not be saved. Additionally, I am extremely allergic to mold- so allergic that I receive 6 shots every two weeks to manage my allergies. Ashley Furniture has not only put my finances in jeopardy, but also my health. And what do they do? NOTHING. I go in to personally talk to the manager, Bart, and even he is verbally and visually SHOCKED by the amount of black mold growing on my mattress. His response? “Well, you didn’t purchase an Ashley Furniture mattress protector initially so we probably can’t replace it.” My mattress it still under warranty, had a complete allergy-encasement the ENTIRE time I owned it that never came off, I never spilled anything on my mattress, and my landlord hired a maintenance individual to do a mold/moisture inspection in my entire home and found NO EVIDENCE of mold or moisture of any kind. My roommates’ mattresses are fine. But mine? No, it must be the mattress protector. How I found the mold? The mattress protector had moisture INSIDE it. No moisture was leaking from it, no mold on my box spring, no mold on my bed frame, no moisture/mold ANYWHERE in my room. Bart on the phone was rude, accusing me of going around in circles when I was asking him questions why my mattress protector purchase was the issue, and could not give me a reason why this was the verdict other than “I am not a scientist.” AVOID ASHLEY FURNITURE, THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES!!!

I walked in the door, never having been here before. Taylor met us, and after introductions, I described what I was looking for. She said she had something that might match the description. Sat down and tried it out. Perfect. Fastest long-term purchase I've ever made.
Aside from the fact that literally none of the sales people actually try to help you while shopping, they also lie to get your business. Moving from the lower 48 we know we needed to order an additional dresser from our set but instead of having the movers pack it for us, we thought it’d be easier to have it and pick it up the day we arrived in anchorage. I had called the store asking if they carried it and if I could purchase it for the $189 price I was going to pay online and was told I absolutely could! So we went this afternoon to go buy it and pick it up, only to find out it is $438 at this store and they won’t honor their word from our previous call. So now we have no way to get the matching dresser because there’s no chance we’re paying that much money for that. I’d take your business elsewhere.

Will was very helpful and knowledgeable about the couch I was interested in. Follow up to this review.......I was told my furniture would be here 2-4 weeks. It is now 6 weeks and I must wait 3 more days. I asked if I would be compensated in some way, i.e. free delivery, some percent off cost, since I waited an additonal 2.5 weeks for my furniture (which was not a special order). I was told there is NOTHING they can do or offer me. That's pretty terrible customer service when you're spending $1300 on furntiure. I wish I could cancel my order but I need something to sit on in my apartment. I will never buy from Ashley in Anchorage again.

The Ashley Home Furniture Store located in Anchorage sent the wrong dining set that I originally purchased that was set to get shipped out to Barrow, Alaska. I had to take in all the trouble of paying for shipping, picking up & loading the 114lb set to my home, open it up to realize it was the wrong one, box it back up, send it back to Northern Air Cargo. Apparently, a worker put the wrong item # on the displayed set which caused the whole 3 week wait time. I was told that the correct set will not get sent out until the 1st set is sent back and recieved. Very little apology with no information of whether or not I will have to pay for shipping again until I asked to speak to a manager. I now have gone without a dining set for 3 weeks as I set down and packaged my old set. Very inconvenient.

The couch I purchased for 1,000 dollars can be purchased for 500 dollars on Amazon Prime. We live in Alaska and things are more expensive, But that is a bit much. Also I was not told about a shipping charge from one store to the other, So I am not happy about that. Sales help was nice enough ( Earl) and couch looks good, But wonder how long it will last. I will probably look elsewhere for our next couch and spend twice as much.

The walk through the purchases was great but I still am not glad with the loss of income for couch. The experience I had there was a nightmare. I bought a bedroom set with a memory foam mattress. The sales person neglected to tell me that I needed baseboards with it. So, when they delivered the set, the only thing that it came with was the box spring and the headboard. Who buys just a headboard without a base? Not only that, but the mattress they said would be in the 11th was still not in. The delivery date was quoted to be the 15th but when I took off work for that day, nothing showed up. I had to reset a delivery date and took off a day of work for no reason. Once I got the delivery and noticed that there was just the headboard, I gave them a call. The baseboards that they neglected to tell me I needed were an extra $400.00. Not wanting to pay that much extra and since I still had no mattress, I had to buy plastic and wrap up the boxspring and take it back to the warehouse. After that, drive back to the store to pick out a spring mattress and order the rails and base for the mattress. Still have no bed and am sleeping on an air mattress until my mattress is ready for pick up because I didn't want to pay another delivery fee. I appreciated the different sales person trying to fix the situation, but I will never be a customer for them again. Hopefully any of you that are going to shop there has a better experience than I did. Good luck.
I have bought my beds from ashley as well as purchased furniture as part of my work from them. This time it was for my new home. I needed everything, other than bedroom. I found what I was looking for and prices weren’t bad. The sales people do there job but not personable and when you overhear them describing customers it’s not flattering.

Out of stock for the sofa I wanted, 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Horrible service. Lady at the front entrance did not greet us and just pretty much ignore us as we enter and walk pass her. Then there was no rep that offered assistance. A few rep walked pass and didn’t even say anything. When we finally got assistance, they did not offer any specials or promotion going on. Had to ask about what promo they had going on and the guy that helped us didn’t even explain the process clear. He seems to be uninterested in helping us. He told him to fill in my information and he walked away. After I got done he was no where to be found. When we found him he decided to assist another customer. When he finally came back and finish up the process he didn’t go over any explanation besides yes yes he and all done. Then when we finish he didn’t say anything besides give me the receipt and that’s it. Horrible experience for our first time.
The rep was very friendly and very helpful. We found the right size couch for our living space at the right price. We will be buying from here again.

This guy suck he was basically speed walking across the entire store showing us the bed frames. To the point where my wife had to tell him to slow down. In the end he spelt my name wrong on the transaction of purchasing a bed frame. His attitude was way to straight to the point. I didn’t feel welcome at this store at all, pretty much felt they were just only about business.

Excellent sales no pressure Loading to carry home and disassembling ended up creating a problem since the person who took off the legs for Car and truck stripped the screws, thus screwing us:not cool. We had to fix that when Home and May continue to be a problem we need to pay for in time energy labor to fix. Not to mention the fact there may have been a miscommunication issue because we made it clear to sales we were first going to try to load without disassembling and we were not given that opportunity as we were assured we would by sales. Floor models, last of their kind, should be greatly, not mildly, discounted. Prices on most things in general way exceeded competitors in town. We shopped around a lot. Nonetheless we r happy w our purchase just as long as nothing breaks down since there isn’t a Warrantee. Thank you!

Not a bad furniture store, pricing is inflated as is all furniture in AK 😔. The styles were a bit limited, not much variety but lots of similar stuff. We did find a nice bed that matches what we were looking for. If we are looking again we'll try Ashley's but may end up ordering as we did with just other purchases.

When I made my decision and purchase, the delivery folks gave me a two hour window, which was much better than I expected; not only that, the delivery truck was here right at the beginning of that window. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by Mrs. Elaina Matlock. She asked me what I was looking for? I asked her if they had kid beds and they did. Then things started taking a turn when I looked at the living room sets on sale. Elaina was very very patient me because of all the nice sales, I could not make up my mind. I kept changing my mind and she did not rush me at all. She gave me her undivided attention throughout the entire process after I made up my mind. She explained everything and processed my military discount which saved me 5% on everything. I do not know about anyone else’s experience at this Ashley’s Furniture store but I definitely enjoyed my experience.
Will was great. It took a couple of tries to get my boyfriend and I approved but he didn’t give up on us. It was our first purchase as a couple and we are pleased with the service provided for us.

Edit: The store called me the next day and asked for further details and offered to send a tech out to look at the issue. I emailed them detailed pics of the issue but still wanted to send a tech out at $65 for a visit without any guarantee to fix the problem. I went to Lowe’s and got some parts (zip ties) and fixed it the best I could. Soldered the broken wires and insulated the joints. Hope the house doesn’t burn down but don’t feel like further padding the pockets of this store. Added 1 star for the follow up phone call. Good luck! We were told the couch, love seat, and recliner that we purchased were great quality. Unfortunately, after 18 months, one side of the reclining couch will no longer recline and the powered recliner has quit working. The fabric is great, the cats haven’t been able to tear it up but the mechanical function is terrible. The store itself is great but the salesman could have told us we were buying junk instead of selling us lies. Do your research before going.

Theo probably thinks I'm the easiest customer on the planet. Literally. I walked in, pointed, and purchased; he just happened to be closest to me when I said I wanted that piece of furniture. What he doesn't know is that I went to every store in Anchorage (including Ashley) and I've been searching for months for what I wanted. The people at Ashley were helpful rather than pushy, and they left me alone to look for what I wanted. Theo made the purchase super easy, and I was in and out in about 15 minutes, which is huge for me.

We had a very good furniture shopping experience at this store. We moved from the lower forty eight on an airplane, so we needed a lot of furniture. Their prices were fair and competitive; their staff made suggestions and then gave us some room to make decisions; they delivered what we ordered in new condition; and their furniture delivery staff was professional and tuff as they hoisted our new furniture.

Earl Twillie greeted me as soon as I walked in and I showed him the colors I wanted and he lead me to some very nice couch selections that matched my needs, and were within a reasonable budget. Great service and products. But we live in a small cabin and found it difficult to locate smaller pieces of furniture. When we decided on a set we were told they will delivery it to sadlers in Sterling. Living in Cooper Landing. They drive right past our house. When I called sadlers for delivery instructions they told us we don't deliver to Cooper Landing. They told us to rent a uhaul, pick up our stuff and then return the u haul😳 Really I buy $3000.00 dollars worth of stuff and now I need a uhaul? They need to have some better way of getting your purchase to you. Other than that we love our new stuff. Thanks Ashley😊

The people that work there are great, but they sell an inferior product that is cheaply made. If you don't plan to move much, don't weigh over 200 lbs, and/or don't have children, their stuff should be fine for you.

Every major furniture purchase my family has made has been from Ashley, but after our experience in July 2017 we will be looking into other options for future purchases. Dartanian was our sales associate and he was unable to provide answers to basic questions, gave information we later learned to be incorrect, and would shrug and say he did not know things rather than ask someone else or look them up. This should have been a warning not to complete a sale with him, but we did so anyway. He read back each of the items we were purchasing and set up delivery. When Furniture Enterprises -the company Ashley uses for delivery in Anchorage- contacted us to confirm delivery, we learned that again information Dartanian gave us was incorrect. At the time of delivery, one of our items was missing. I asked Tim, the driver, if he could wait while I retrieved my purchase order; Tim declined to do so. I called Ashley when they opened and eventually received a call back from Brian, who identified himself as the manager. It turns out Dartanian did not actually include each item in the order that he had read back to us as being included. Brian suggested that it was not possible for this to have happened as he personally trained Dartanian. Instead, he offered to take $21 off of the price of the missing item if I pick it up myself, stating that there is no other way to resolve the issue. Throughout the course of our conversation, Brian did not attempt to contact Furniture Enterprises to see if they would be able to accommodate the delivery, but rather stated that we would be charged the delivery fee a second time and would need to schedule another day out of work on an undetermined date to receive the item we had been led to believe we had initially purchased and was being delivered. In the context of life, this is a rather small inconvenience. However, in the context of customer service and a company valuing loyal customers, this entire experience has been ridiculous and I find the resolution to be unsatisfactory.

Sales staff at the store were great. The only issue was in the pick-up at the warehouse. I arrived an hour after purchase as instructed by the sales staff at the warehouse to pick up my item this was to allow them time to pull the order and have it ready for me when I arrived. At the warehouse I was then told I needed to come back in an hour as they needed that time to pull the item. after telling the girl at the counter that I had already waited an hour for this to be accomplished, I was told to come back later.

Purchasing experience was ok. But we were told they would put the table together. It showed up not complete and still in the box. We are a business and plan very carefully. That small detail did have a negative effect for us that day.
We weren't told the chairs to our table wouldn't be available for a month until we went to the warehouse to pick them up. Then the lady said 30 minutes when it would take over 2 hours to get box springs from another location. Nice furniture but unaware we want to deal with the hassle again.

When I came in no-one greeted me. I knew exactly what I wanted. When I was ready to check out the younger man looked confused. While checkong out one of the female employees was complaining about upper management. After the transaction went through. No one! not one of the 3 men that was there offered to help carry this large screen out untill I got to the door. Sadly I loved the piece I got but it didn't fit. I went to return it. Again 3 men and a woman watched me as I carried my screen back in. I was asked who helped me the day before and I told them. He yelled for the young man. Over all a very disappointing visit.

When in there looking for a dining room table. I know the style that I prefer and they didn't have it in the showroom. They had this newfangled"tv", set up, it looked like something that comes over in my email from Ashley's! I had to figure out how to use it on my own nobody there really helped. Finally some salesman came over I was showing him the Styles what I wanted, of course they don't have them in stores! It will take weeks for them to get it in and by the way you can go on the website "yourself" and look at all these items as well but all the items won't be the same price because it's "Alaska?" Made but pause and think, so every piece of furniture in the store room is all jacked up in price?? ...'cause it's "Alaska?!" 😐... Needless to say we purchased our dining room set at "Bailey's! " ...in Wasilla!😊
Worst customer service. Website had a sale going on and the prices in the store didn't reflect that so when I said I wasn't going to purchase the item for the original price the guy gave me attitude and then seemed completely disinterested in helping me out but kept following us around. Will not shop there again.

I went in to finance a few items on 4/11/16, and I was to meet with a girl I had spoken with two days before on the phone who said she would be there Monday night, she wasn't. The person who ended up helping me was completely clueless, he spoke to me like I was a complete idiot, when I felt I knew more than HE did! He had to have another employee come over and explain the financing process to me. While this was taking place, the kid who had been helping me, started picking his nose; in the middle of the showroom floor. I don't mean to be gross, but he had half of his finger, and then multiple fingers in his nose. I tried not to look, and I don't know if his coworkers noticed what he was doing, but it was impossible not to notice. It got to the point where, after about 3 minutes, I got sick to my stomach and couldn't even listen to the person explaining things to me anymore, and had to leave. I will never do business there, even though the furniture seemed decent enough.
Worst furniture and service. We bought a sent from them in late October. By January the couch seats are uneven and stuff is flat. We tried to have them out January that got moved to Feb. The warranty company came out and we never heard from them again 264-5228 I have spoken to Chris 264-5225 left message and no response, he was going to send to the manufacture. I have left message for Chris boss Stan. I have spoke to the store manager Cary and he said he would look into and no response. I have talked the owner Dave 264-5210 who said he would look into and nothing. I have a couch from them that is under warranty that they are doing to to fix or replace and nothing from them. I want my money back and they can have the set. The coffee table that they forced us to by in order to have the couch set already has issues.
I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase furniture in & around the Wasilla/Anchorage area. I have been "promised" a refund for a delivery charge (when I very clearly picked up the furniture) for over a month, and had to repeatedly call to learn the status of said refund, only to learn they dropped the ball multiple times. Their customer service is a joke.

Their wood bedroom furniture fell apart just over a month, the front of the drawer fell off still waiting for a replacement after three weeks of waiting. Recently phoned to get a price on a bedside nightstand since you purchase a bedroom set you get one nightstand. Was told one price and when we went to buy the price had jumped up by $50.Of course the associate and the manager denied all knowledge of phone call or price hike difference . Filled in the customer comment card but as suspected no reply to our questions. Would never shop at this store again, cheap wood assembled in a far off exotic country your choice ! Update after waiting six weeks for the repair to be carried out on the drawer we receive a call to say that they received a damaged replacement drawer which they did not check on arrival to their warehouse. Now we have to wait another six weeks for another replacement. What a shambles of an operation, Ashley furniture is a pure nightmare, so buyer beware !
My family lost everything in a house fire shortly after moving to the anchorage area. I was informed by a representative that the owner of the local chain was an enthusiastic supporter of our military and wished to give some furniture to my family. As a mother of five children, my biggest concern was returning to normalcy as soon as possible. After some discussion, I was offered a dining room table with six chairs and two dressers. It was cheerfully delivered the next day. We were thrilled by the quality of everything. The generosity and kindness of everyone at Ashley left me humbled and exceedingly grateful. Over a year later, we remain thrilled with our furniture and have purchased other items with equal satisfaction.
