Bought a rug, got no updates for 3 months. No one could tell me where it was. Canceled the order and bought it online. Arrived in 2 days for $20 cheaper. Two stars because they bake cookies.
A very positive shopping experience for my family and myself, the selection of furniture is second to none.
I didn't really know how to feel about this location; there was a lot to see but not enough? The salesperson's follow you around, after telling them you'll find them if needed, sorta uncomfortable.
Mixed review, unfortunately. We bought a sectional and multiple pillows from the Oro Valley store. The sales people were very nice. The delivery person, however, was an absolute jerk. He was rude, obnoxious, dismissive and unprofessional. The sectional is good, but we needed to wait until it arrived to go through the pillows and make decisions. Despite the fact that they are brand new, in bags, with tags on, they will not accept returns or exchanges after 48 hours. That’s right, 48 HOURS. I can understand that on furniture, but on decor??? Absolutely ridiculous. I will never shop for decor from them again as a result. What a shame. I could understand even a 14 day policy, but 48 hours?? No thank you. BE WARNED!!
Many thanks to Paul Wilson and Aaron Caughlan for going above and beyond to help me. I was unable to assemble an Ashley chair that I'd bought online. Since the online service was of little help, in desperation I brought the pieces to this store and asked for help...mercy, really. These guys had no reason to help me, but instead Paul asked Aaron to assemble the chair, which he did in no time at all. Maybe they just wanted to make me feel better, but they said that Aaron had to make small adjustments to make the pieces fit together. I will definitely be back to purchase. Thanks!♥
I have had a great experience with your Salesman Kile at the Marketplace Ashley store. He has been helpful, problem solving to my satisfaction, great communication, especially his follow up. I was originally working with another salesman. But I havent heard from him since his return from vacation. KILE IS A HUGE ASSET to your company. I worked in customer service for 30yrs and you are lucky to have him. Now if my 2 deliveries happen without any delays or problems then this review stands!
They attempted to deliver a used sofa with dog hair all over, with food on it and or body fluids all over sofa. It was ripped and scuffed. Only professional person was delivery driver. When I called salesperson Jared said oh it was a mistake, this is beyond a mistake! Is Ashley selling used stuff and charging it as new? Still waiting for Manger call back!
The floor sales person, Cindy, made the sale!! She was knowledgeable about the product and very professionally explained info about the additional warranty. Not pushy. Her personality was sincere and honest. I will be back.

Our salesman Jeff Chadwick was amazing. He left us to explore and checked in frequently which is just what I like. I like that he had good product knowledge and he even went out of his way to find us an item that they didn’t even have on their roster. Overall my wife and I were extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Update While my opinion of my salesman hasn’t changed. He did his best. My opinion of Ashley Furniture is a different story. We had to exchange several items due to poor quality. One piece that we waited over 3 months for was unbelievably bad. It was a chest of drawers we ordered to finish of a collection I had purchased several years back. The original collection was very well made and had held up wonderfully over a 10 year period. The new piece was pathetic. The hardware was bad. The finish was bad and the construction would fail a high school wood shop project exam. I ended up having to exchange it and the second piece was worthless as well. After that one they told me that the line was discontinued and I would have to exchange it for something else. Nothing they had matched and I ended up trading $1000 chest for a $300 one that was low grade IKEA quality. In fact, IKEA makes better stuff. Bottom line is we spent over $10K on furnishings that are low quality. I will not ever buy from Ashley or Sam Levitz. It’s overpriced garbage.
