Jasmine was my sales person at the Bakersfield store & she was fantastic. Attentive & helpful without being pushy, she checked in frequently but allowed me to browse without pressure. I was wavering on a piece & she took down measurements & gave me her card. I went home to measure my space & other furniture & returned the following day to purchase.

This place has to be the largest furniture store I have ever seen. My wife and I are going to purchase our new kitchen table here and the saleswoman Maria. She was a big help no stress at all.
We bought a sofas and side tables it’s nice but one of the side tables is damaged when they deliver, we try to report it and it takes forever hard to contact .. the service is poor it’s been 2 months since i complained about the damaged side table but until now im not hearing anything from them
I spent over $13,000 at this store. Waited 2 months to receive my stuff and they were damaged. The furniture is all scratched and dented and the paint is peeling. One of the leg stand isn’t even bolted in. I had to build an entire TV stand with the shelf’s on the side and it isn’t complete. I’m missing some of the pieces to finish building it. Even though they didn’t tell me anything about having to build some of the furniture myself. I called customer service and they didn’t answer. The guy who got the commission from my purchase said he would have customer care call me back. It’s been over a week and they have yet to call me. Once they make a sale they won’t care about you.
We go to Ashley furniture store to purchase a small console table. We find the perfect one and it was priced at 399. We ask if they price match and they said yes as long as it is the same product. Go to 1stopbedrooms.com which is OWNED BY ASHLEY and find the same table for $153. They come back and said because it’s priced that low they won’t price match. Ummmm… excuse me? Isn’t that the point of price matching!!!! I will NEVER buy again from this thieving business.
Horrible, they changed my delivery date 4 times and to top it all off I had to wait 2 months for my couches and bedroom set when I was told the wait time would be 2 weeks.
We bought two couches “with the extended warranty” a sofa and loveseat and within two weeks the loveseat armrest stitching had came Unraveled. We called It in and after waiting about 35 minutes for somebody to answer I explained to them what happened and that the couches were only two weeks old they decided to send out a technician. Two weeks later The technician showed up to sew it up… The sew job was OK but definitely not factory “I wasn’t really satisfied with that but I let it slide Because it was pretty close”…So 5 months later I was vacuuming the couches, I pulled off the cushions I noticed there was a rips right next to the armrest “on both couches” on what they call “the deck tarp“ the fabric that the cushions sit on. It had ripped right next to the stitching… I reported this and started a claim with pictures of the Defects on June 3rd..Of course “nobody ever called me back”!!! …I waited for over a month And I had to get a hold of them, because they will not call you back .You will get “no email” “no phone call” you’ll get nothing!! “This is a fact”!! They’re Customer Service is absolutely horrible!!!…. Eventually I was able to get a hold of them around July 7 once again after waiting on the phone for 30 minutes I let them know that nobody has tried contacting me about my claim they have not tried calling me or tried emailing me I got nothing so after reviewing the all the pictures that I sent in they finally sent somebody out two weeks later .. The technician came by looked at the couches and said yes he could fix it And that he would have to order the “deck tarps” and they will probably be here in a month… at that point I told him “I would just simply like to have new couches sent out because THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN with a six month old couch in any situation“ . So he called his supervisors and His Supervisor’s said that my “extended warranty” should cover it and I should get two new couches sent out, just call the warranty company and they gave me the number. So I called the warranty company and they told me “the extended warranty That I purchased only covers the outside of the couch nothing to do with the framing or underneath the cushions” … are you flipping serious?!! What is the extended warranty that I bought good for? Apparently nothing!! What a waste of $150 !! So I I had to call back ASHLEY customer service and have a technician scheduled to come back out again to get the part ordered so i am basically stuck waiting for the part to show up in a month and then once the part comes in I will need to schedule the technician to come over and Completely tear my Couches apart to replace the decking on both couches in which when they put it back together it will not look factory it will more than likely be a shoddy job. Because the underpaid technicians really don’t care because they are so busy repairing all the cheap furniture that “Ashley furniture” sold the public that They don’t have time to do it right it most of the time it takes two weeks for them to get out to your house sometimes longer… I will never buy anything from ASHLEY furniture ever again…. “I learned…So you don’t have to make the same mistake” and I suggest if “you did” buy from Ashley furniture that you read your contract completely” .. because they are only out to screw you over if you have defective furniture or it develops a rip or tear or bad stitching coming undone whatever the case two weeks or four months or eight months into owning it it’s all on you. Do not expect any help from them or the “worthless extended warranty division”… they will just keep spinning you around to different phone numbers and pointing the blame at different directions and giving you the runaround hoping you will just drop the claim even if you bought the extended warranty they are horrible company that sells you cheap “high priced” Furniture from Vietnam
