Purchased a new bed frame and was happy with customer service at this store. Frank did a wonderful job.
UPDATED 9/21 My complaint was ignored. I then went into the store to talk to the manager who offered to process a full refund. He said to call in if we wanted the refund processed. I called in and got manager approval and was told the refund was done Saturday. I called back 6 hours later (Ashley has given me trust issues) and was told I had never called and the refund was not started. The customer service person then informed me I had to come into the store with the paperwork, ID, and the credit card to get the refund. I am beyond frustrated at the complete lack of communication and consistency. I went into the store with all the requested information and got manager approval again for my refund. Guess what though, no refund. Its not even showing pending. I was told over the phone refunds take 3-5 days but instore is next day. Original Post I ordered two couches August 3rd 2020 for $3405. These couches were set to be delivered in Bakersfield CA 93311 on 9/19/2020. I called today to confirm delivery details, since we have not been contacted at any time by Ashley. The automated system confirms the date for delivery, I wait the extra 20 minutes to talk to a human from the call center. The lady that answered the call told me our couches are back ordered and will not be delivered on the 19th. I told her that is impossible. We ordered our couches well over a month ago and obviously someone would have called if there was an issue. She told me there is nothing that can be done, the couches wont reach the warehouse until 9/27. And then she said even that is not guaranteed. I told her there has to be a solution. Waiting 2 or more months is not the answer, especially since the local Ashley has the couches we ordered on the floor. Then she called me "sweetheart" and condescendingly informed me the stores don't just sell models off the floor. I told her she was rude and I wanted to speak to someone else. She said she couldn't transfer me anywhere because the store wouldn't answer the phone. She hung up on me. I called back to the store, only to be told that this happens a lot and it isn't the lady who answered the phone's fault. Determining fault is useless to me at this point (would probably be useful to you to prevent this from happening again) all I am really looking for here is a solution. No one I have spoken with will help come up with a game plan other than wait infinitely longer. This is not a solution I will accept. Acceptable solutions- *My couches, I paid full price for, delivered as promised *An upgrade delivered as promised *Or a loaner delivered as promised, that will be picked up, when my couches are delivered. This is the company's responsibility to make this situation right. Chet and Erin Weichelt
This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a furniture store. Purchased a couch back in July, was told it would be delivered late august. They kept calling changing date of delivery. Finally they deliver and it ended up missing a cushion so they took it back and we had to wait another couple weeks. Then they kept rescheduling us again and finally deliver only this time its half a couch!! Its been 3 months now. And we decided to cancel, the manager and staff were unapologetic. We have been rescheduled atleast 5 times and never ended up with furniture. We bought several pieces of furniture and this is how you treat your customers, terrible! There is a huge lack of organization and communication between the store and warehouse. Why on earth would we receive pieces of furniture both times. Ridiculous! Never again!
I have found the 90% of their furniture or more is very cheaply made. I purchased a solid wood dresser and it arrived broken and drawers not working. it was somewhat of a hassle to get a refund several trips to the store. spend a little more money, and buy some thing of quality from another place that will last a long time.
Ashley Furniture didn’t deliver our furniture after confirming by text and call. This happened twice. Then we found out that after two weeks they didn’t even actually have our furniture in stock. It wouldn’t have been a problem if they would have just communicated. I spent hours on the phone with no help. The store manager could care less about our inconvenience. He never apologized or acknowledged that there was an issue. I requested a refund which couldn’t be given to me until the next day. We got our $2,000 back and will NEVER shop with them again. Plus, their employees do not wear masks appropriately. I had to ask a worker to please wear her mask when getting within 6 feet of me. The manager didn’t wear a mask so I guess his employees don’t feel the need to either?
Salesman was pushy directing us all over the store to sofas we didn't like.
I had a great experience with one of the employees named Carlos. He wasn't pressure me to buy and when I was ready to buy he was very helpful with the financing.

Horrible experience today. Christine refused to wear her mask even after we asked her because we felt uncomfortable. I would be understanding if she was further than 6 feet but she was within 1!! So gross! Waited on a manger for longer than 35 + minutes!

I was very happy with the attention to detail of all the items I was Interested in and my sales person Pawan was the best. I was amazed at the huge selection of quality furniture on display and the help I Received from Pawan in selecting the right items for my home made my experience smooth and pleasant. Thanks also to the sales manager Carlos, the warehouse and delivery people and Ashley Furniture. I will recommend you whenever the chance arises.

My wife and I have purchased multiple different sets from Ashley as we have purchased new homes throughout the years and we will ONLY purchase though Ashley. They are high quality with great prices and the customer service has always been exceptional. We had the opportunity to be assisted by the sales professional Conrad at the Bakersfield, Ca. location. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, and gave us an exceptional shopping experience. Not only will I continue to shop with Ashley but now I have my go to guy and highly recommend asking for Conrad.
