I tried purchasing a living room set online a week ago & ended up having to go in in-person because their system was having issues. I paid the extra $100 for delivery & confirmed the delivery date between 12-4pm through an automated text message I received yesterday. I received a call from Grace at the distribution center at 9am this morning informing me they could not locate my new construction home address therefore, they won’t be delivering my order today and moved it to Saturday. When I asked how I could be certain they would not have the same issue on Saturday, she redirected me to the store manager, Daniel at the Bakersfield store location. When I called and explained to Daniel the situation he immediately informed me he didn’t have the capability to do anything on a same day order. I explained to Daniel I went into store a week ago for purchase and it was an order set up in advance a week ago. Driven by ego Daniel got upset at my tone and canceled my order. If Ashley’s Furniture wants to generate revenue get a new manager.
