Don't be fooled by the sales tactics. They tell you that they can only "work the price for you" if you get the extended warranty. Not true. Furthermore they'll try to talk you into their $100 delivery and assembly fee without telling you that there is actually an option for free delivery (admittedly without assembly, but still). If you know what you want just buy it online. Not worth going through the sales floor.

The experience was horrible because I have a line of credit but the moment I ask the associates for just a wall art under 200 dollars they look me under the eye and avoiding to help me it was such a bad experience and I have to make mi wife and kids pass for it so even if I have a good credit line in ashleys I will not use it in mi future needs unfortunately

Salesman was fabulous, selection great. But do not rely on delivery arriving as promised. No matter what they say you have NO opinion or choice on delivery time. Even tho it was discussed at final signing. They need to say" can be delivered between 8am-5pm. AT THE START. I stated I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TILL AFTER 2PM. No problem they said ( anything for the sale). Forget calling the store directly...not possible. Go to Bobs

If you have specific delivery date expectations, do NOT order from them. I ordered my sofas before Black Friday and was very clear about my required delivery date. I was told my sofas would be delivered on December 17, and I have now just found out the delivery has been delayed until December 26. Christmas is approaching, and I am expecting my family. My living room will not be ready for the holidays due to this delay. I need to be contacted by a manager as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will request a full refund and purchase my sofas from another store. It’s terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s unfair and inhuman that someone can destroyed the Christmas!

I had the worst experience with Ashley. I bought a tv cabinet with a fireplace insert. When it was delivered the actual fireplace insert was the wrong size. The sales rep ordered it incorrectly. I called Ashley to try get a refund of the difference between the larger and the smaller one, but I have not been able to a refund. I called many times to get this resolved and went to the Burbank store to try to resolve it, I got no help from the manager there. When the delivery guy finally came after months of waiting on the back ordered smaller insert he told me that original delivery guy cut the back of the cabinet and he should not have done that because it is ruined and cannot be fix. He took pictures and sent them back to Ashley and told me they would call me same day. I never got a call from Ashley. I of course had to call to try to get this taken care of, but they told me they would call in a few days. I will never buy from them again. I also got an Ashley credit card but I will canceling that card as well.

We purchased furniture from this location; however, we were not properly informed by the salesperson about certain requirements that needed to be completed prior to delivery. We were also assured that the delivery team would remove our existing furniture. When we requested this service, the delivery guy stated they could not take the old furniture and informed us that they were a third-party company and did not work directly for Ashley, and therefore could not remove the items. We have attempted to contact Ashley’s customer service and have been placed on hold for an extended period without receiving a response. At this point, we are only receiving automated service rating messages rather than assistance. We are simply seeking to speak with a representative who can provide clear answers and resolve this issue.

I had a very pleasant experience with Basil Salem. He was a very nice, respectful and considerate salesman. He helped me with a beautiful bedroom set that will be delivering soon. I will be shopping again at Ashley Furniture because of Basil. Thank you so much.

Very disappointing experience. Our salesperson was not helpful at all and kept relying on the research we had already done online instead of guiding us. When it came time to discuss financing, he ran our credit without our permission, which is completely unacceptable. When we brought this up at the sales desk, the staff was rude and dismissive. We will never be coming back here.

The people in the store in Burbank was wonderful. I very much like my couch. It’s beautiful. My only complaint which is fierce is I don’t like when I call in and have to speak to someone in Asia or India. The person I was on the phone with could hardly speak English. It’s really frustrating and made me almost want to cancel my order. Know it is For you, but I can assure you you’ve probably lost customers because of it I don’t want to talk to someone in Asia, who can’t understand me and I couldn’t understand her

Anyone ordering something from there should face a few facts They might be having the largest choice of the furniture in your area. But they will screw you with the delivery. I bought total around 10k worth of the furniture November 15-th, supposedly to be delivered to me November 21 and 25-th. Agreed on schedule and the scope, first batch of the November 21-th was in place and the guys bringing it were professional and did a very good work. The second batch for November 25-th was when it started. They brought fewer items - they were unable to fix the furniture together. They called their supervisor (Cause the delivery team was barely able to understand an English sentence, let alone help me fix things up), who promised me to have it delivered November 29-th. The next day I got an email asking to confirm if I want to have the pending part delivered on 29-th - I confirmed. Today is November 29-th, I got the message that my delivery was cancelled - without explaining why. All I was able to get from their customer service was an apology, which will barely help me get missing furniture. Long story short - whoever is ordering anything from there - do not believe whatever they say about delivery. If you have a chance, add a penalty line to delivery in case of delays. That's the only way they will understand anything - only if they will pay for their screw-ups. And another screw-up which will catch you later on - whenever you are thinking over buying-over-time feature or whatever it will be called at that time. When performed a check if the loan company will approve the amount you want, make sure to explicitly tell the Ashley "help" or "sale" person to cancel the request, if you prefer to pay by cash. Because otherwise (And Ashley staff members will not tell you this - maybe they are not aware, maybe they do not care) you will get the card from the loan company, even if you paid for the whole thing in cash. I firmly believe that was my last experience with Ashley - if anyone wants more details, happy to provide.

The staff was extremely rude! I've never been treated so badly in a store. We were interested in a sofa when we went to ask questions about sizes and what we were looking for. The guy simply started being rude to us and raising their voices for no reason. I went to the store's website and found the sofa we were looking for. Unfortunately, I don't recommend the physical store!

Received a faulty item that was over $1200, have been given the run around for months. Had someone come to our home to check it out and validate the claim, then Ashley says “we can’t validate it”. Call this person, call that person, go to the store, it’s all just blabber. Then at the store the managers talk in Armenian in front of you to eachother…. Do not recommend. Management: Please don’t comment “email me or call this number” because no one has ever actually helped. Thanks.

STAY AWAY. scammers. zabel tried to take advantage of my 50 yr old parents and made a $10k purchase order on their behalf even though my parents repeatedly said they don’t want to confirm or finalize any order. they later received a call regarding their supposed confirmed order. went back to the store to fix the problem, and saba, the manager, was no help. she kept saying that she “cares about her customers” and wanted to help while at the same time, was unwilling to believe us about zabel’s scummy behavior, calling her “great.” now going home without being able to fix the problem same day. have to call corporate to cancel the order and will be on edge until everything is fixed.

Dude followed me around the store like some kind of fbi tail. Was quick to tell me the great deal they had but after shipping and tax it was 200 more than sticker price. Asked for financing and they offered “acena” that was “12 months” . I asked what the interest was and the woman told me “ohh no interest just fees” I look at the contract they tried to rush me through, would’ve been DOUBLE if I didn’t pay in a certain amount of time. Apparently if I paid off in 3 months I’d accrue no interest. Is it a 12 month or 3 months? The whole situation felt gross. Pushy pushy . They were kind shadey around the details. Got pissy when I pushed back. I got the dresser but I left the store feeling almost violated . Then I get 3 texts from Ashley, then the dude Carlos personally texts me to leave a good review. Here’s your review pal.

We have bought from here before and our first experience was great the women who helped us out was amazing. We went a second time thinking it would be the same experience but at the point of purchase we were asked for two forms of ID (which is understandable) but when it came down to delivery we were not allowed to deliver to any other address that wasn't the billing address because of their "new system". So we were advised that they would still deliver the furniture to the billing address but once delivered that we can call the bank to change the billing address to match the address of choice for delivery. This just seemed ridiculous and extremely inconvenient and since we were on a time crunch we ended up having to leave empty handed. Now I don't know if the system thing was actually true or a form of discrimination regardless it was inconvenient. Please do differently by others.

Thanks to him, we were able to purchase a beautiful sofa at a great price, and we couldn't be happier. From now on, whenever we go to Ashley, this will be our go-to location. Highly recommended!

The only employee that was friendly was the sales lady who helped me place the order. There were other 2 employees with whom I interacted and asked question, they were both dismissive and not helpful, but the attitude was the worst. We left the store thinking wow these are really unhappy employees

Terrible experience. My elderly husband has to be moved into assisted living and we went to Ashley on8/23/25 to pick out an entire bedroom suite including two chairs, a queen size storage bed and mattress and an end table. I was promised delivery on September 5th, which was reflected in my paperwork. On the 5th I waited in the empty apartment for over three hours and the furniture was never delivered, when I called customer service the representative said the date had been changed to the 12th. No one called or texted me about the change and when I brought that up the representative’s attitude was “too bad”. I went back to the store and the manager got on his computer and I was told the delivery would be made on the 10th and I would be given a time frame at least two days before. Guess what - no text, no email and when I called customer service the customer rep said he couldn’t give me a time frame because some of the bed slats weren’t in the warehouse but they’d contact me tomorrow on the 9th. Meanwhile, my elderlyill husband, who is supposed to move into assisted living next week doesn’t have a bed to sleep in or any of the other furniture. I will never buy anything again from Ashley and want to warn others about this store.

Never buy at Ashely and specially at this store again. Bought product in this store and was promised it would ship by a certain date. This date has come and gone. Spent hours on the phone to try and resolve and went back to the store. The store manager was sooo rude and refused to cancel the order. She said we’re selling stuff but if you want to cancel call the customer service we’re not responsible any more once you made a purchase. Don’t buy here ever again!

Terrible service! A product we bought did not arrive. Service gave evasive answers. The safety sales manager returned and did not return. We had to waste time and physically return to the store. The store manager refused to provide service and said that they do not provide answers in stores.

The sales associate named Vahan is very knowledgeable and understands what people need. He was not pushy or trying to oversell us anything besides what we asked for. After the Eaton Canyon Fire, the salesman Arman work with us and was very patient as we made changes, but help us every step of the way. Worst customer service ever! Terrible communications and when sofa was delivered it was very damaged with park of the sofa back crushed and fabric torn. Delivery guys took photos and reported it. Someone was supposed to contact us to replace the broken sofa and over 3 weeks no calls! Been calling the store and customer service they don’t call back.

Recently purchased a dresser and desk instore. The sales associate was nice and accomodating and answered the questions i asked. The associate stated that the dresser was preassembled and the desk was the only one that needed assemblingg so i went forth to pay for the delivery and assembly fee. Once arrived the dresser needed assembling and the people delivering stated they dont do assembling. I paid for assembly but all i got was a refund. I was expecting a little more than refund and have it handled ina different matter

I purchase a $2000 sectional. They forgot to give me the throw pillows to my couch. Later they called me a few days later saying if I don’t pick them up they will throw them away as if it was my fault they were forgotten to begin with. The manager called me twice in a rude tone to pick them up while I’m busy at work. I’m very upset of this sectional purchase because it was $2000 and it is incomplete. Something that day told me not to buy it. I even wanted to cancel that order and they were very persistent. They only care about their commission and not the customers.

Need more dining selections with higher priced items. Great place for family living people.

For the amount paid for Ashley products, it is possible to obtain significantly better quality items from other retailers. For example, comparable furniture on Amazon is often available at approximately one-third of the price, with superior quality and a clear, customer-friendly return and exchange policy—unlike Ashley. Based on these considerations, purchasing from Ashley Store is not recommended.

In July 2025, I visited the store to purchase furniture. Upon entering, I was approached by several sales representatives offering consultation. At no point during the sales process—either in the consultation phase or at the point of payment—was I informed of the store’s strict “no return, no exchange” policy. The omission of this material information is misleading, as most furniture retailers allow returns or exchanges under reasonable conditions. I made my purchase under the assumption that the store’s policies would be consistent with standard retail practices. Only after taking delivery and realizing the items did not fit my space and the colors were unsuitable did I discover that the store categorically refuses returns or exchanges, regardless of circumstance. Furthermore, my attempts to resolve this issue were met with unprofessional and inadequate customer service. My emails and messages went unanswered, and the store manager, who had limited English communication skills, made no effort to provide a solution or address my concerns. In my view, the store’s conduct constitutes: 1. Failure to disclose material terms prior to sale, which may amount to deceptive trade practice. 2. Negligent customer service, reflecting a disregard for consumer rights and satisfaction. I am requesting that the appropriate consumer protection body investigate this matter and consider whether the store’s policies and sales practices violate applicable consumer protection laws. People are nice of course. But bizarre brand I get that it’s a chain so it’s not a knock on this branch but in general Ashley furniture just not what I was looking for I felt like a mouse in a furniture store for oversized giants. Evrything there is huge. I know things are big in America but I guess it never hit me till I walked in. For the price you can get nice designer furniture evrything is overpriced for what it is and oversized. If you’re in the market for furniture save yourself the trouble and go to a nicer store just across the street is a west elm and the prices are not so different.

Do not buy at this store the one in Burbank my son went to buy some things and we asked if they did not fit as we wanted we could return them and obviously they told us yes unfortunately they did not fit and after making several attempts to call customer service without an immediate response they told us that they were going to request a check well at first do not worry if they do not fit they return them and then even the person who came told us that it could not be fixed person sent by Ashel ... and after more than a month tells us that the store does not accept returns .. when you buy everything fine but there are returns ... they do not like it I thought that this store because it is like this was not a scam I was wrong ... how frustrating to pay for something that does not work for you

Unauthorized Credit Check and disappointing solution I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received on 07/06/2025. What I experienced was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I ever have in my life. My primary concern is that a credit check was run without my explicit consent or even a consultation. This unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit report is unacceptable and directly impacts my financial standing, and probably it’s close to illegal. To make things even worse, when I escalated this issue, the manager's proposed "solution" was incredibly disappointing. Instead of addressing the unauthorized hard inquiries and working to have them removed, their suggestion was to simply increase my credit limit. This completely failed to address the root of the problem and felt dismissive of the serious implications of an unauthorized credit pull. Based on this experience, it appears that running credit checks without customer permission might be an usual practice within your company, which is a significant concern. Please avoid this place something similar might happen to you!!!

Had a lot of help, Bep helped us and another man Vanpian I think was his name. The only reasons why I didn’t put 5 stars is because the prices you see online are not in the store unless you see the detailed paper. They try to sell you the whole “collection” when you can pick and choose what you’d like. The second thing is they follow you around throughout the store once you ask one question. It makes it a bit of annoying and makes you feel pressure and not be able to see comfortably the items available. And three, they take a lot of time checking you out. The sales rep is more nice and has great customer service rather than the person processing the payment .

I ordered dresser and bed for my daughter on February 16th. The salesman said it will be delivered to my home by April 30th, but they call me and asked for pickup in warehouse, but I was told it will be delivered. I am paying my bill every month, and I haven’t got it yet.

Save your time and $. Go to another furniture store with better service. Definitely, DO NOT go here. This Burbank location didn't offer any help or assistance. I had to go and find some help. And I was only given a couple of minutes of the salesman's time before he completely walked away from me. A female sales lady just stood their standing at the counter. All the salespeople just ignored me, the customer. The salesman said they could give good discounts. Are you kidding me? You, Mr. Salesman and Sales Staff, all were so rude. All just ignored me. I needed a dresser that came disassembled so I could put it together upstairs. The stairway is narrow and furniture needs to be brought up in pieces. I told the sales associate this multiple times and was ensured the furniture would come disassembled. It did not. I mentioned to the delivery team that the dresser wouldn’t fit, they let me know if I took the drawers out I could see where I could take the dresser apart. This was untrue. I took apart the box and pulled out the drawers… the corners of the frame are glued and stapled. No customer service contact methods have been helpful. All together a really frustrating experience. Update: I emailed the provided account 2 days ago and have not heard back. I’ve continued to contact customer service who have either told me “nothing can be done all sales are final” or “just wait till we finish reviewing your case”. I have no idea what there is to review or why this process is so difficult. I’ve been trying to send this back since the minute it was dropped off and 2 days later I’m still working with customer service and not making any progress. Conclusion: Nothing could be done. I never heard back from the email below. I got a phone call from Ashley letting me know that I should continue to monitor my email for a response but it was unlikely. I made a purchase based on assurance from the sales staff and delivery staff and tried to return the product immediately. What a joke.

We were looking for a small accent chair. Looked online. Only 2 chairs that fit our space. One was from Ashley..We drove to the store in Burbank because they said they had it in store. Mirta knew exactly where in the store it was located. It is an upholstered office chair (Korestone), perfect for extra seating in our living room. We needed it tomorrow for out-of-state guests but they wouldn't be able to deliver it till Wednesday at the earliest.. That's why I could only give 4 stars.

Mirta at the Burbank location is a phenomenal person to work with and truly cares about the customer relationship. She listened to our needs and it really felt like she had our best interest in mind. While we did have a defective mattress delivered to us, Mirta (and manager Sabah) were empathetic and diligent in resolving the issue. Thank you both; we will be back!

Experience was terrible at the Ashley Burbank store. My elderly mom purchased four chairs but when they arrived one had a wobbly leg and she almost fell when she sat on it. Again, my mom is 75 yrs old and has health issues. She no longer wants the chairs. So I took her back to the Burbank store to exchange them literally a week after initial purchase. There we were confronted with unhelpful and rude personnel that only pointed to the sign on the counter stating the return policy. I asked to speak to the store manager, Sabah. She reiterated that all sales are final. I informed her that the sales person Mirta never informed us that all sales are final. I asked her if there was anything she could do because my mom didn’t want the chairs anymore. She said that they could only send a repair person to which I repeated my mom does’t want those chairs and I asked if she could make an exception as we were not aware of the lack of return/exchange policy. Sabah now in a very condescending and rude tone told me we should’ve made sure we wanted the chairs before we purchased them and that all sales are final. I pleaded with her and even my mom told her we would be willing to pay for restocking fees but she simply repeated the policy is sales are final and other furniture stores may do returns or exchange but Ashley doesn’t. I asked for her boss and she became visibly upset and said I was attacking her and ended the conversation although at no point was I loud nor disrespectful. I did express that I felt that not notifying customers that all sales are final was deceitful and that I was a very dissatisfied customer but she did not seem to care. I am very disappointed and hope something can be done to correct this problem. I think you also need to know that your store manager Sabah is not customer friendly and does not represent your brand well. She was very rude and made my mom feel nervous seeing how confrontational she became and did not handle the situation professionally.

Purchased an Ashley brand sofa less than 2 years ago. The seat cushions are completely sunken in and uncomfortable. Ashley customer service told us to visit a store for replacements. The customer service staff here were rude and had no interest in helping us. They told us they cannot offer us any replacements even though we were trying to pay for them, and had no other solutions to offer us. Ridiculous.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not one person who works there is helpful. Just con-sales men. And the company as whole is terrible. Will never buy anything from them again. I should have read the Yelp reviews before wasting my time.

I purchased my furniture with Zabel and had a great in store experience choosing what I thought at the time would be the perfect furniture for my new home back in November. However the positive experience ends there. I received my furniture in January and the technicians that came to drop off my furniture were extremely rude and made comments about stealing things from my house. Then a part on my bed broke less than just a week after having received my furniture. We contacted Ashley’s customer service and asked to have the part fixed. They part arrived two weeks later, and scheduled a technician come to fix it another week later. When the technician finally got here, he noticed the replacement part wasn’t complete. Along with the disappointment of realizing we were still not going to be able to sleep on our very expensive, brand new bed, the technician began making inappropriate, sexist remarks about the furniture purchased making the whole experience absolutely terrible. Before leaving, he ordered for the part to be sent again. The expected delivery date for our part was supposed to be last week on Wednesday 03/12. We got an email stating that the part was delivered, but it wasn’t. The following day we called customer service to see what was going on and they said there was a delay because there was no route in the direction of my house. This has been a 3 month process trying to receive a small part for my bed, and 3 months of not being able to sleep on my very expensive mattress and bed frame. I tried contacting Zabel because she said if we had any questions/concerns to call her, and the Ashley’s Burbank store where we purchased the furniture from and have not been able to reach anyone. I am extremely annoyed and disappointed in the level of customer service/support Ashley’s has provided since receiving my furniture.

Went in to buy a couch, sales rep Sammy was so pushy it put us off continuing our shopping. Felt like a vulture circling fresh meat. There we met the sales employee Mike who was very attentive nice respectful and patient. He walked around the store looking for what I needed which was a 54 inch dresser. He didn’t give up until he finally found one which, by the way, I fell in love with the dresser as soon as I saw it. Along the way of looking for this item Mike made my son and I laugh and he made us feel at home. Mike made our shopping experience an awesome one. Thank you Mike.

Do NOT buy furniture from Ashley’s. My fiancée and I have had a horrible experience. We purchased a bed frame and when it was first delivered, it was assembled wrong and a part was broken. It took two weeks of us sleeping on an air mattress for them to finally send a technician to replace the broken part and add a center support beam. When he got here, it turned out the replacement part Ashley’s had sent was ALSO broken. About a week and a half later, they sent someone out to replace the broken part. He came to replace that part, but the center support beam was left crooked and not secure at all. We asked if he could come back to fix it, but instead we have to wait another week to have someone come fix it. Absolute nightmare of an experience. The customer service line is also useless, good luck speaking to someone who actually has any idea of what’s going on.

Review for Ashley Furniture I initially had a great experience purchasing from Ashley, and I even left a positive review praising TJ for his excellent service. However, my recent experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel compelled to share it. When I placed my order, I spent nearly $15,000 on furniture. The receipt and email confirmation clearly stated that my delivery was scheduled for March 20. But today, some of the items were delivered unexpectedly and without notice to my new home—where I haven’t even moved in yet! My neighbor had to call me, which forced me to interrupt my work and deal with this situation. When I contacted Ashley, they told me that some items, such as lamps, wall art, and other accessories, are shipped via UPS by third-party vendors. Why wasn’t this disclosed to me at the time of purchase? If UPS was going to handle part of my order, why wasn’t I informed beforehand, especially since I’m not yet living at the new address? To make matters worse, one of the delivered packages arrived damaged. Again, there was no prior notification, no tracking details, and no coordination on delivery timing. This is completely unacceptable. Today, I went back to the store to address my concerns. Unlike my first visit, when TJ and another male manager provided excellent service, my interaction today was disappointing. I spoke with a female manager who was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. At one point, I was speaking with an Armenian-speaking associate, and this manager interrupted, accusing me of raising my voice—when in reality, anyone in my situation would have been frustrated! At this point, I’m seriously considering canceling my entire order. I expected far better service after spending $15,000 at Ashley. If I don’t receive a satisfactory resolution, I will not hesitate to take my business elsewhere. This place is horrible! My wife bought my daughter a bed with bed frame and they only delivered the mattress. They had a scheduled appointment for the frame to be delivered the next day and to no avail. Now my daughter is sleeping on the floor of her new unit with my granddaughter. My daughter went to the store because of the discrepancy and the manager is disgruntled and threatening to call the police. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Go to Bob’s Furniture and save yourself the grief.

I took off work for a delivery that already took them a month to deliver, only to “find out” not be told directly that the dresser I ordered a month ago is still on back order and will not be included in my delivery. The salesman was so pushy and rude following me and my family around like we were gonna put a couch in our pockets. Only to have to call off of work two times just to receive the delivery I was supposed to get the first time. I honestly depending on how they handle this will probably never go to Ashley again. The manager of this store really needs to learn what customer service means. She also needs to learn how to be respectful and polite to her guests in the store. She is very rude and intruding. Overall, this Ashleys location is run by people who are not from America and who have no idea what Americans expect in their customer service. First of all, it is very rude to hound your potential customers and repeatedly ask them questions after they refuse your initial intention. Second, do not stand too close to us that is also rude in American culture. And third, please do not ask us questions as if we did something wrong when all we want to do is learn via pics of the furniture will look good in the designated room we are looking for. It would have been nice if we felt comfortable in this Burbank location but instead it felt like we walked into a 3rd world furniture swap meet. We’re everyone is suspicious and confrontational. Terrible Customer Service & Warranty Runaround I purchased my furniture from Ashley’s with the Regard extended warranty, which the sales rep assured me would cover repairs or replacement if the item could not be fixed. Unfortunately, when my furniture developed an issue, the technician himself noted in his report that it could not be repaired or matched. Per the Regard pamphlet and the promise made at purchase, I should have received a replacement. Instead, I’ve been sent in circles between Ashley’s and Regard, with no resolution and no accountability. Even after multiple calls and emails, Ashley’s has failed to honor the warranty or provide the replacement/refund I’m entitled to. This is unacceptable. I paid extra for a warranty that has turned out to be useless. If you are considering purchasing furniture here, beware of the extended warranty — it is not being honored. I am requesting that Ashley’s corporate step in, honor their written warranty policy, and resolve this situation properly. Until then, I cannot recommend this company.

I went into the store not expecting much since it's a 'Big Box Furniture' chain. In fact, I was thinking it was going to serve more of a reminder why I should buy online or at Costco. But I will say Pravin Bhambri completely sold me on why it makes sense to have someone sit, listen and guide you on making some huge decisions for your home. It was close to closing time, so we wanted to be quick, but Anastacia was very accommodating and wanted to make sure that we felt confident and satisfied with our potential purchase. She was even willing to help us move a table from the other side of the store to see how it looked with the sectional we were interested in purchasing. She was very friendly, personable, and genuine as she supported our decision to purchase a sectional couch, table, and area rug. It’s unbelievable how anybody can hurt or damage someone out of their own gain. I went into Ashley furniture today only wanting to buy a bedroom set. A salesman, I believe by the name Sean, had us there almost 2 hours trying to convince us to buy a mattress $3300 mattress. He sold us a good story about paying it off for 60 months at $82 a month. When he asked us to check our credit, I don’t him I didn’t need a hard inquiry on my record. He went ahead and said, this is a low inquiry! I was fine with it. They approved the credit but it wasn’t the credit he said it was. I just received an email that a hard inquiry! I. That is very low! I’m very disappointment. He told me he works from commission, well that shouldn’t be my problem. That’s the job he went for and lying to win is pure evil !

Absolutely terrible experience. After ordering my furniture, Ashley Furniture Confirmed my delivery date, three days out two days out and one day out via text message. On the day of the arrival, I stayed home for a four hour window and the item never showed up. After calling and reaching an automated response, I then connected to their chat box and found out that the item was rescheduled without my knowledge. At that point, they told me a new delivery date had not been set. After looking at other reviews on Google, I learned that this was a common occurrence. I then decided to cancel my order by speaking to Ashley Furniture representative. They said that the cancellation would take 2 to 3 days and someone would reach out to me. After three days, no one reached out to me. I documented this whole process and had to process my refund via my credit card company. I highly recommend staying away from this business.

Fast and easy

Bought a bed at Ashleys Burbank Ca. back on July everything was fine untill the delivery. The bed was damaged in several areas. Most damage is on one of the bolts thats holds it together. It has a 7 inch crack where its bolted. I called them to let them know larer as I was not home when it was delivered and assembled. It was not until I moved the whole bed that I noticed the crack. Upon speaking with customer service I reported it and asked if they would lower the price for the damages since it was a new bed. They said that instead they would replace it and take back the other one. I was even given a date I would receive it. I called 3 weeks later to check on status for delivery and they said there was no info for a replacement. I called customer service and the store but they've been extremely rude and unprofessional. I've been going at it with them since the delivery 3 months ago but since they had been paid for the bed right away they don't care. When you call to report stuff they wont answer phone. You will be l3ft on hold until you get tired of waiting and you hang up. But if you choose the option to buy something they will answer right away. Definately watch out for any purchases you want to make there.

My Wayfair bed randomly snapped in half last night after four years - I reluctantly went to a couple of stores and found the salespeople unhelpful and/or the selection lacking. When I entered this Ashley location, I was immediately greeted in a friendly, but not pushy manner by the whole team and an excellent selection of furniture in all price ranges. I ended up working with Rashaan - and he actually made me happy my bed broke! He showed me everything in great detail and answered my numerous questions. Ultimately, we got a great deal on a much better mattress and Rashaan’s superior customer service, care, attention to detail (excellent help with financing), understanding of my budget and wonderfully engaging personality - shopping and buying a new bed and mattress at this location and with Rashaan in particular, was a truly enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back to this store anytime I am in the market for new furniture. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same, you won’t be disappointed.

Very good customer service and friendly

Buyer beware. I've purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley over the years and my latest purchase has me never wanting to go back. I bought a power reclining loveseat at the end of September. Since mid October, half of it has been unusable because the heater won't turn off. Ashley sent a warranty tech out early November who confirmed the problem and said to unplug that half of the couch because it is a fire hazard. We have had no luck since the tech was out getting the parts shipped to repair the loveseat and Ashley is running us in circles trying to get answers. They won't return or replace the defective product and we don't know when it may be fixed. Really poor after sales service and support.

Bee 🐝 is the person I worked with I bought from him 5 yrs ago….I figured I’d use him again However, after 2 weeks I’m still waiting to hear back regarding the extended warranty i paid for. I was overcharged by $50. I sent a message, text to Bee and called the store the same day, nothing. I’m disappointed no one has offered to resolve this issue and credit me back $50.00. I haven’t heard anything yet.

Not happy when delivered

Beware of any purchases made at Ashley Furniture store. We bought their top selling sofa "Maggie" and the floor model was very comfortable, it was worn in and felt great. When ours arrived to our home the material felt much rougher and both seat cushions had ridges in them, near the back of the knee which was noticeable and disappointing. We weren't happy with the couch and reached out to our salesman about returning it the day after it arrived. Our salesman Glen Meyers, who is a delightful man mentioned that the floor model was there something like 5 years. It doesn't surprise me to hear that the couch could take a while to break in, ours is rough and lumpy. Glen let my husband know that all sales were final and he was sorry if he didn't make that clear the night we purchased it. He said he would speak the manager to see what could be done if anything. When following up with him the next day he let us know nothing could be done. We went to the store in person, 2 days after the couch arrived to speak with the manager, Saba, in person but she had left for the day, so we spoke to Nelly an assistant manager. We understood the no return policy but we wanted to set up an exchange because we aren't happy with the couch. She said she will submit the request and let us know if there is any decision. This was simply a run around statement she gave us. I called back on Monday, the decision has not been made and I called on Wednesday to follow up and found out nothing had been done or requested. Here is the main problem with Ashley and how they handle dealing with their customers. It's a run around system, you can't even reach the store directly. All calls go through a corporate answering service first. It is not a company you want to deal with. Living spaces will give you a seven day return policy where you will be charged a restocking fee. No fee for an exchange. We are willing to pay transportation costs and willing to exchange for office furniture, but are simply left with we can't help you. Not Good and Not Recommended. BEWARE.

Ordered a sofa online and without any notice, Ashley cancelled my order. Went to this store to buy it in person. I noticed the price difference. Manager did not want to honor the 25$ coupon although the coupon is valid in store or online for 30 days acquiring it. The manager Made it seem like she’s doing me a personal HUGE favor when she said okay after some talk. Manager doesn’t know how to communicate at all and to meet clients needs. I had no problem with the price and could certainly afford it but the way they communicated made me feel so uneasy and unwelcome. Went to bob discount and got a better sofa right across and they were wonderful and patient! Note if you want to buy from Ashley, you’re better off at other Ashley stores or at bob discount

My husband and I were in the store this evening looking for a mattress that would help me with my back pain. One of the employees, named Emma C., warmly welcomed us and spent a lot of time showing us several mattresses that I would benefit from. We needed a couch so badly. We searched several stores, and had no luck. This store was a true life saver! We saw the exact couch we were looking for within 10 minutes. The sales staff were incredible. Worked with our budget, and just the most giving wonderful people I’ve ever come across. Our sales person Johni was very attentive to our needs and knew the products inside and out. The manager, Sabah, was the most helpful, gentle, incredible soul I’ve ever seen in a store manager. I’ll be buying EVERYTHING furniture wise from this store, at this location from now on. If you need furniture, you won’t regret buying from this store.

My husband, toddler and I came in ready to buy. Every customer was greeted and had a salesman with them. Us, on the other hand, we weren’t even greeted and were followed around like we were going to steal something the whole time. My toddler threw a tantrum but quickly got over it. The whole time we were in the store all employees were staring at us and one followed us and stared the whole time. After we were more than halfway through the store, he finally approached us asking what we were looking for. After we told him, he said “well I saw you guys already looked at that area, but you can look over there.” Rather than taking us to what we were looking for and making a sale he just basically said try over there. But continued to follow us and stare the rest of the time. We found multiple items we liked and were ready to purchase, but we just took pictures of them and will be ordering online. I’m not sure why we were treated this way, maybe because we are young and have a toddler but that doesn’t mean that we can’t shop here or afford to or deserve the same respect every other customer was given. Management needs to do better about training employees to not judge people on how they look.

MD Mostafa (Million Dollar)was so extremely helpful. We were looking for something simple for my office, something to lounge in but something small. Also something reasonably priced as we have dogs and the fate of our furniture is unknown. He helped us find just the right thing. I give him 10 stars if I could ! We love Ashley’s. He gave us yet another memorable experience in purchasing furniture.

Even though my shopping experience was okay the delivery was a nightmare. I was told I would receive a 4 hour delivery window the day before my delivery, which I did but ended waiting over 7 hours. Unfortunately my work day was ruined as well as the plans I had for my week of moving. If I had been told that the delivery could be as long as it was I would have scheduled differently.

Md Mostafa helped us and take care our need. We bought bed room and living room. He is very professional.
