I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley. It’s clear they don’t prioritize their customers. I initially lost my credit due to misinformation from the store. After months of persistent calls, they finally reissued the credit. However, they then used this reissued credit for someone else without my consent. When I raised the issue, their response was dismissive—they simply said they couldn’t do anything about it. This reflects poor management and a lack of accountability. I would not recommend this company to anyone. 👎👎👎👎
Ashley Woodland Hills has friendly experienced professional sales people. Our sales person spent lots of time helping us appreciate what the various mattresses offer and was patient while we tried them out and eventually felt confident to make our choice. We had an equally good and informative experience about a couch we also bought. Nice atmosphere all around!
Poor management, talked to one of them I called the store asked for store manager he said his name is Philip. He couldn’t even try to help , I didn’t expect that from Ashley stores. I had issue with the delivery, I will never buy from poor customer service company again , suppose to be 0 customer service

Customer service was fine, but they gave us the wrong info about the return policy. They indicated there would be a restocking fee. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. As soon as we decided the furniture did not work for our needs, they informed us there were no returns! At all!!! It was extremely disappointing. I mean they should at least have a 30 day return policy. We felt cheated for sure.
What impressed me was how knowledgeable and eager to salesman Lorenzo was to inform me of the most cost effective way to make a purchase within budget, I learned that furniture that has been on display for a predetermined period of time, meets the criteria for being sold at a significant discount, and I was able to get several quality pieces that gives my place great eye appeal. The only draw back I had in the transaction was the inconvenience of having to arrange pick up and delivery of my furniture, due to Ashley's policy the only furniture from the warehouse will be delivered, but in store items are the responsibility of the consumer. However,the discounts on the furniture fortunately served to equalize the cost of delivery, so it was accommodating for my budget. Their team makes the purchasing experience, comfortable, and rewarding the salesmen make you feel valued. I require the use if a wheelchair for mobility they took myvspecieal need into consideration as we toured store and assessed the options, to determine what would best suit my needs.

*1/5 stars - AVOID ASHLEY HOME STORES AT ALL COSTS* I am writing to express my utter disgust and frustration with Ashley Home Stores' delivery service and customer support. 20 days ago, I made a purchase from the Canoga Park location, with a promised delivery date of September 20th clearly stated on the invoice. What followed was a never-ending nightmare of broken promises, lack of communication, and appalling customer service. The delivery date has been changed FOUR TIMES, with no explanation or apology. Every time I call to inquire about the status of my order, I'm given a new date with no assurance that it will actually arrive. To add insult to injury, I've never received a tracking number or any updates on the delivery process! But the cherry on top of this disastrous experience was my encounter with Anna, the customer service representative. I've never had the displeasure of dealing with someone so rude, unprofessional, & dishonest. When I asked to speak to the store manager or supervisor, Anna put me on hold for over 10 minutes, despite knowing that the store was NOT EVEN OPEN YET! She then came back on the line & told me that the manager was "busy with another customer". Are you kidding me?! The store isn't even open, & she expects me to believe that the manager is already busy with another customer?! , she raised her voice when I questioned her, & showed zero empathy for my frustration, & what's even more egregious is that after each call, Ashley Home Stores claims to allow customers to provide feedback & reviews. However, Anna deliberately kept me on hold for an extended period, preventing me from sharing my feedback. When I requested her to hang up so I could be transferred to the feedback system, she ignored my request & continued to keep me on hold!! It's clear that she was trying to silence me & avoid accountability. Anna is not equipped to handle customer service & should not be representing Ashley Home Stores. 20 days have passed since my purchase, and I still have no idea when I'll receive my item. The lack of transparency, communication, and accountability from Ashley Home Stores is staggering. I demand better from a company that claims to value its customers. *DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY HOME STORES* unless you enjoy being lied to, ignored, & disrespected. Take your business elsewhere, where customer satisfaction & timely delivery are actually priorities. *UPDATE*: I will be taking my business (and my complaints) to the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, & every other review platform I can find. Ashley Home Store, you've lost a customer & gained a vocal critic.

Our experience with the delivery team was the worst ever. They are tricky people and you need to make sure that they do their job properly especially making sure nothing is lost. Another is making sure to check that everything is properly assembled and if anything has problems make sure they fix it on the spot. We had one damaged part, at first they wanted to assemble it first before doing the 2nd bed. The 2nd team was even more horrible. A team of 3 came, and a couple of screws were lost. They checked their truck and talked with one another, and then told us that they found it and fixed it. But at the end when they left, we checked everything to make sure but we found out they lied to us. Remember to make sure to check everything part by part. They didn't find the correct parts and enough to finish the assembly of the bed. One part did not have any screws at all, and another had a loose screw.
We had an excellent experience with this location. A lot of options to choose from. The store is super clean. Saleema who helped us, was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. She helped us choose a bed/mattress and patiently answered any questions we had. She knows what she was doing and helped us complete our order. She provided the best customer service. We would love to come back soon! Our #1 option to purchase home furniture because of her. If anyone goes shopping here, please ask for Saleema.
I visited this store several times before finally deciding on my purchase. Once I decided on the chair I wanted to purchase I called the store and spoke with one of their salespeople, I ordered the chair and paid the same day. I received a confirmation that the charge was processed and I was told that I would receive a call the day before delivery with my delivery window - it was a 2 week wait. On the day before delivery, I never received a call, so I decided to call the store at 4:59pm to get my delivery window for the next day and I was told that their Regional Manager canceled the order! I never received a call and asked why was it canceled?!, I never received any notification whatsoever! I was never told why it was canceled. Arrangements were made to have someone stay home that day to wait for the delivery. I spoke with the manager the next day and again I did not receive any answers. Customer Service was terrible! I was informed that there was a problem charging my card, but I was also told that I was refunded on my card, SO THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH MY CARD!!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I went elsewhere and purchased the same type of chair with a lift for cheaper and better quality. This establishment will never see me again, it's left me extremely disappointed in their customer service.

Went to Ashley’s furniture, unsure of what I really needed as I just moved and wanted to get a fresh new look for my home. David was my sales associate and he was extremely knowledgeable about the products, and patient throughout the sale. I could be indecisive and he was very helpful by showing me several options and helping me choose the best one. Thank you to David and to Salema for helping me get the best of the best!
Ashley has the worst return policy. Customer service , delivery service, technical service, all are terrible. I told their technician , who came to our place, I would put a review on internet to share my experience with others, he said Ashley company pays the servers to remove negative reviews. 🤨 Please please go to IKEA instead. Trust me.
I was very disappointed with Philip the store manager at the Canoga Park location. He had promised us that he would give us the 5yr financing however when we went to the store this week he said that the previous manager that has gave us the discount was no longer working for Ashley and was let go two days ago. Only to find out that the manager (Lee) he was talking about was let go on Feb (few months that ago). He made up the story completely. He then walked out of the store without resolving the issue. Luckily the sales manager Saleema was on site and was able to sort out the financing issue for us and complete the order. Thank you again Saleema for your superb customer service.
I had a great experience with purchasing a few items from Ashley’s furniture store. I was greeted by Philip to help me find what I need. He was very patient and helped me through the process, Vaughn helped me with the end of the process with purchasing my items. Terrific easy process! My recent visit to Ashley left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. As a parent who enjoys sharing moments with my under 10-year-old child, who happens to have a sincere passion for furniture, I had hoped for a pleasant experience. However, our visit was marred by unwarranted treatment. Despite my child's well-mannered behavior, we were abruptly asked to leave the premises, citing alleged misbehavior. I can assure you that my child is always on his best behavior, and he even goes the extra mile of ensuring the recliners are returned to their upright positions. The most disheartening part was the lack of understanding from the staff and their refusal to provide any meaningful resolution. When I requested the corporate phone number to address my concerns, I was merely provided with the store's contact information, which was incredibly unhelpful. As a customer who values courteous treatment and respects the rules of establishments, this experience was utterly unacceptable. I had hoped for a welcoming environment where families could explore and appreciate furniture together. Sadly, Ashley fell short of providing that. I sincerely hope that management takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that all customers, regardless of age, feel valued and respected during their visits. Until then, I cannot recommend this store to fellow furniture enthusiasts seeking a positive shopping experience.

BE CAFEFUL! Good if you don't have an issue with anything you bought. If they send a damaged item, you're going to be fighting CS for a return regardless if you contacted them about it in the 3 day window. Went in to buy a bed and It was a pretty good experience except that the sales guy said that they take care of delivery and setup. I don't know what he was talking aboht, it cost $400 for delivery. 5 stars if the salesperson was direct. Edit: After the beds were delivered I was assembling one of the desks I bought. Found wood cracks, chips, black touchup done with some sort of marker, and the holes didn't align so nothing fit. Wanted a refund, not a replacement. Unfortunately, after spending more on beds than I did on my first car (by a LOT) they don't want to refund us for a damaged item. They offered a "one-time, courtesy replacement" when all we want is a refund. So it's now come to the point that we're likely going to just return the entire order and go someplace else. When this gets resolved I'll update this review either way. Edit 2: Customer service is now saying that they may not accept the damaged furniture as a return because even though we contacted the store and Customer Service about the damage within the 3 days the return wasn't started, even though that's literally the reason we contacted them. Spent $21k and will never go back, huge mistake.

We purchased our couch less than a year ago and now our couch looks like it is a few years old. All the lower cushions are covered in pills and cannot to move them. For a $3500 couch set this is absolutely unacceptable. I will never buy anymore furniture from Ashley again. Unless they make this right somehow.

My husband and I purchased a mattress last year. We called Ashley with a warranty question they sent out their tech Morgan to inspect our mattress. My husband and I came into Ashley’s after having an extremely frustrating experience at Crate & Barrel. We were introduced to Luigi who was more than amazing. For my husband, he gets really thrown off by pushy floors men and Luigi Not only gave us plenty of space, but was attentive to us and our needs and exceeded all expectations. We were able to buy a whole new living room set and outdoor set without having to put any money down not only that, but they also gave us a discount. By far the best experience I had furniture shopping. I usually get really anxious and stressed out but now I know to only come here to buy furniture Thank you Luigi for everything!!! Saleema and Marshal were so patient with us! We changed our mind maybe 15 times on which mattress we want and they stayed patient with us explaining everything we needed to know about each mattress. If anyone needs anything from Ashleys furniture go to Saleema and Marshal! 10 stars if I could.
DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY IF YOU ARE MOVING WITHIN THE TIME OF THE WARRANTY. We moved during the epidemic and lost our warranty. We are ready to get furniture again, and my wife said no to Ashley. I paid for warranty service so that she could be helped while I was abroad. She called twice, and the gangster ladies told her she had nothing coming and would have to pay for services. Customer Service should assist and offer options and not be annoyed or having a bad day while not displaying any patience for a client who does not speak your favorite languages! You managed to get her Farsi help while buying, but Customer Service was all gangster when she called for warranty. When they sold us the warranty, they never said that it will be canceled or void if we moved. I understand that it may be in the little writings but who reads all the little writings, when the sales rep tells you that everything is covered for the warranty period of time you are buying? They should tell you this important piece of the warranty along with the rest and not use this to void warranties and refuse service. It's been a couple of years, but this review was well earned by Ashley, they could have offered something instead of telling my wife that the warranty is void because of our new address. She was with babies in the home while I was abroad and out of the state. Every time I asked, she said everything was OK, and last week, she finally told me about how she was treated. All because I said, I think it's time to go to Ashley! AVOID THEIR WARRANTY! THEY ARE DISONEST AND WILL ABANDON!

The staff at Ashley Furniture in Canoga Park is always so helpful and the prices are great. Luigi our sales associate was so kind and even assisted us in making the best decision for our purchase. My wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased with their service.
Hi purchased a bedroom set. The next day less than 12 hours later I changed my mind. The set was too big for my room. I paid with American Express which I got refunded . I also paid with $500 in cash. They said I would get a check in 7 days.I have been calling and calling now it’s 6 weeks later and still no check. I asked for corporate office number to get to the bottom of it and said they don’t have it. I just want my money back. The manager never calls me back either. Sad a big company like this is keeping my money and wasting my time to call. Help
David was incredibly helpful during my visit. I had a total of three bedrooms to furnish and he was incredibly patient throughout the entire experience. He kept me informed with delivery statuses and even went out of his way to follow-up after the delivery was completed. I would most definitely recommend the Canoga Park store time and time again.

Beautiful furniture at great prices. The ordering was problematic: item on order that wasn't ever ordered, wrong color sofa on order, phone number input wrong. Delivery was good - within a few days. Wrong color sofa still has not been resolved after many days and unfulfilled promises of return calls.

I recently visited this store in search of a new couch. Allen was immediately attentive as soon as I walked into the store, let me know he was available for questions, and gave me the space to look around and take the options in myself (which I REALLY appreciated). When I was ready to ask questions, he was right there to answer them and even helped me put some options together based on what I was looking for! I didn’t buy while I was there, but I will absolutely request Allen when I return!

Received my furniture today and paid for assembly only for them to leave the mirror on the floor. My salesman is a joke. His name is either Alex or Lisandro. Everyone was rude and not helpful. I bought this bed-set online only to be told my order was an in store purchase. Now I can't return the mirror and it's just on the floor. When I called to get a refund, I spoke with Leigh the store manager who didn't help either. He offered to credit me the amount for the Kurt or of I decided to buy additional items. Why would I buy anything from this store EVER! The only helpful person was the receptionist. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! It's a joke ! If you buy anything from I. Store there are no returns and no exceptions! Beware ! You can only get a return approved if you buy online .Update *** Leigh did help me .. he refunded my money for the mirror .
Visited this store to look at rugs for my place and it was not a great experience. Terrible customer service. The only nice person was a female sales rep I ran into while walking toward the rugs. I left after 5 mins and will not return. The rugs were overpriced so they did me a favor.
Got a really bad heat mark on my dining room table a few weeks ago and my extended warranty with Reguard really came in handy! Called Ashley to schedule me with a tech. Morgan arrived within the timeframe they gave me and got to working right away! In less than 30 minutes he fixed my table and looks good as new. He blended the colors so well that unless you're at kissing distance with the table nobody would be the wiser that it was ever damaged at one point. Morgan really paid attention to the variation in color and all the grain on the wood. Extra satisfied that I didn't end up held hostage at my house when the tech goes past the given ETA. So happy with the service I got with my warranty, highly recommend!

The salesperson was nice. However, the rest of my experience was awful. Delivery was 3 weeks late, but I get it. I work retail, and things like that happen all the time.I purchased the extended warranty, which is useless. One of the end tables and coffee table finish was scuffed up (warranty says it covers that) they sent a technician to the home to analyze then someone came out to fix it and he said it couldn't be fixed I need a new top so I followed up after a few weeks and nothing happened I sent another email the said let us send another technician to fix it, it's now worse the technician again said it needs to be replaced NOT fixed. So I followed up, and the guy said, "Let me look into it." It's been a month or longer, and there's been no word back." Don't shop at Ashley unless you're ok with bad service and a crappy product and definitely do not get the extended warranty.

I was here today dealing with the decorating need for the holidays and the store manager Leigh was incredibly helpful. He show me a variety of solutions a different price points. I can’t wait to come back and do more of the house. Definitely worth a visit his exceptional make sure and ask for him.
OMG!!! I had problems with my very expensive dual recliner right after it was delivered, due to my rambunctious children jumping up and down on the top. I called Ashley customer service immediately and they sent this gentleman out by the name Morgan, a true white glove Ashley technician from the corporate office to address my concerns with appropriate action. When Morgan arrived! Wow!!! Smokin hot!!! Soooooooo amazing, he identified the issue and got me back up and working in little time, thank God for him. Ashley and there team members are truly amazing!

ONLY buy from the store - DO NOT BUY ONLINE. there is no one that can help for on line orders failures. "Customer care" is a call center. Also do not buy threshold delivery as they don't remove the packaging so you don't know if an item is broken. I've had great luck with purchases made in the store & the manager is very helpful but on line is another story.

Easy, uneventful. I made a small purchase of a bed (no mattress) so naturally it wasn't terribly exciting for the sales staff. Not as engaging/ communicative as I would have liked, but not bad or rude in any way. It wouldn't prevent me from shopping there again.

Spent over $10,000+ on furniture as I expected to receive my beds that I purchased to come in on time, the sales rep had promised me that they would come in no later than the specified day which was 5+ days out, 6 days now and the furniture does not get delivered, call to check in on my order and they are now telling me 6 more days... total of 15+ days just to receive a single freaking cal king bed... that's half a month without a bed!!!I specifically told the rep I would not purchase the beds if she couldn't get them delivered on my desired dates, and she swore up and down that it would be 100% delivered on the dates they quoted me which I have the paper!! I would not have purchased anything if they didn't have anything in stock, they lied and manipulated my family into thinking we'd receive everything on time and now they just keep delaying our order...It's been 10+ days that I have been without a bed, Macys and other nearby furniture stores had the same exact beds in stock for that day!!!! Worst mistake to go with this place, never will I ever shop at this horrible place, including their customer service which is terrible, they see people as dollar signs and once they get their money they don't give a damn what happens or how long your orders take...I will return everything I purchased because this is completely unacceptable, they lied and so I'll spend my money elsewhere with respectable people who actually deliver on time and don't lie about delivery dates!!!!!

Dumb, I wanted to buy a mattress cover that they had at least 2 in stock but they wouldn't let me take it. They claimed it was a floor model and had to be ordered. It was in a box not out on display. Then when I agreed to have it delivered they had to set a specific date and will call the day before to deliver it like it's a piece of furniture. For heavens sake it was a box that I should have been able to carry out after purchasing. In hind sight I wish I would have just said forget it and purchased it somewhere else.
Ashley has great pieces. Unfortunately, they use UPS to deliver. UPS is horrible delivering certain items to apartments. The driver left my furniture outside on the sidewalk. I didn't get a phone call from UPS or from Ashley that the furniture was on the way. I purchased on a Saturday and delivery was the following Monday-the Ashley salesman said it would be delivered the following Wednesday. I'm so done with UPS. Ashley Furniture will not hear from me again if I need something delivered.

My wife and I had been there one time during the week to look around. We were greeted by Boris with a smile, we were allowed to walk and explore without anyone hovering over us, it was refreshing. After doing research at other furniture stores, we came back specifically to see Boris. He was patient and very informative. Needless to say, we bought a couch and a loveseat. I highly recommend going there and asking for him.

Went to the showroom to pick out a new mattress. Salesman Boris brought me right to the best deal was. I tried it out and I liked it right away. Tried a few more and they didn’t measure up. So I made the purchase 50% off and it should last me 10 years. Real good experience. Boris offered no high pressure whatsoever.

Bought a mattress and the comfort quality was not as expected , had to contact Ashley’s multiple times so they can at least approve an exchange , after contacting them multiple times the manager Leigh was able to resolve the issue and was able to exchange the mattress . Employees need to be trained more as far as customer service , sale persons should at least have some knowledge of the products they sell so they can guide their customers to choose the right product !

Whatever you buy from here, DO NOT let the sales people talk you into getting their insurance / warranty since it is EXTREMELY useless. I bought a 5 piece sectional 2 yrs ago and added an almost $500 protection plan for all of the furniture I purchased. Needless to say, I needed to use my warranty as one of my cushions got damaged. After almost a month of following up with their warranty, I was told that the cushion IS NOT covered. Pleeeease stay away from this place as I am appalled that a company as use as Ashley would even utilize warranty services that is basically a scam. Spend a little more and buy GOOD quality furniture elsewhere that'll provided better services.EDIT: The warranty document that Ashley Home Furniture initially gave me at the time of purchase is completely different from what their warranty services sent to me just now. Absolutely ridiculous!

We experinced the worst experience from this store. Their delivery drivers were rude, unprofessional, and condescending upon arrival. They arrived 30 minutes before my delivery window and threatened to not redeliver. When they arrive the driver was rude, and refused to put on shoe booties to enter my apartment. Even I offered to go to them stey still refused and dirtied the carpet to my new apartment. My entire home is furnished with Ashley. After this experience this will be my last time shopping with them. Next time Ill try a compeditor that will most likely appreciate my business and treat me better.

Bought a couch for $4000The sales person was so rude and also lied that I have to buy an extended warranty to get the best price after that I said no couple of time the sales person(50 years old women) told me that is money for food for her kids that I'm taking away if I don't buy the warranty.Anyway 10 months later my couch looks so bad I have crumbles all over my couch and it's look like it 20 years old couch Ashley don't want to take any responsibility and say it's normal loss of use,On this couch it's only me and my wife she works 8 hours a day and I'm 12 so definitely who don't sit there so much I would highly recommend you to take your money and business elsewhere cause everything it's cheap made over there including the persons working there

We drove around and went to three different stores. Our last store was Ashley. We walked in and were immediatg greeted by a very nice woman that guided us to the mattress section. There a really nice gentleman that came to us and reviewed with all of our options. He was knowledgeable and not pushy. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted and the price and service were great. They will be delivering it this week :-)
Sales people promise way to much. Scheduling delivery was combative. Never finance with Ashley's bank either if you can afford it. The experience was regrettable at best. My guess about the 5 star reviews...employees
This store has owed me a refund for an assembly charge that was not needed and I had to call corporate 3 times (because no one picks up at their store unless you are a potential customer for them to sell you something) and corporate had noted it for the store to refund me. I was told it would be handled. Lies. Months go by. I call the store and it goes to corporate again. I explain my situation and they see it still hasn't been paid. In fact, the store actually closed the note without paying me or telling corporate. So, I don't even show up as an open case or order. They have never been available when corporate has contacted them to connect me. Shady shady shady. I just want the refund I was owed. But they had to make this into an investigation and make me post a review like this. So don't go to this store if you want any kind of customer service or expect them to keep their word.

We needed a bed frame and mattress for our guest room and he was so helpful!I showed him a frame I found online that I liked and he found one better and less expensive! He also showed us multiple mattresses and had a lot of patience. We left with a great experience and a mattress and bed frame! We would definitely come back and ask for Luigi!

The worst service and sales experiences I've ever had. Don't speak with ANY sales rep or Trish. Saw a recliner in the store that looked/felt good in OCT 2021. Wanted to buy it and salesperson said it would ship in a few days. This was the start of a 6 MONTH battle to get one chair. The recliner did not show up at my house. I called Ashley to find out why. They canceled the order without telling me. The order delayed until mid November 2021. I wasn't happy, but waited. First week of November, called the store again to check status of the order. It has been delayed until Feb 2021. I got no notification for some ridiculous reason. I'm upset. I consider canceling, but decide to wait it out further. January 2022 comes. Call to check on status of order. Order has been delayed until April 2022. I go to the store. No one there has any idea about my order or any idea how to figure my issue out. I leave frustrated but need that chair, so I wait. Late March 2022 comes, I call to confirm the chair. No joke, chair has been delayed until June 2022. I call 10 different times to Ashley to get this issue resolved -- and ultimately replace the chair. One salesperson tells me to come into the store to pick a new chair, and when I try to explain that's not why I'm calling, he hangs up on me. I eventually reached the manager Leigh, who resolves my issue. I pick a new chair to replace the one that never arrived and it gets to my house in 3 days. This store will never get my business ever again because of how the process was handled. Disgraceful and deceptive business practices.

I thought the sales person was very helpful. Turns out we were overcharged for shipping, and the couch we purchased and convinced that the warranty would cover many things that it actually doesn't. So... I guess he was only helpful to himself. According to Ashley's own website, we were charged 300 extra for the couch and around 200 extra for shipping. Not very pleased to feel hustled like that.

We had a wonderful experience here buying our bedroom/dining/living room set for our new home. We got everything we love with fair price. The branch manager is awesome. We love how transparent, professional, and pleasant he is. Most importantly, we can feel his passions for what he does. Don't be fooled by the "Manager Special: and other special discount. We have been shopping for some furniture and visited a few stores. we've found out that the same furnitures that were on sale in this place were more expensive that the regular prices in other stores. And they also had the audacity to claim that they are the manufacturers of these items while you can find them cheaper elsewhere.

Patricia was very nice, helpful, and patient. I found out after we made the purchase, that the couch we bought was listed for $100 less on their website, so I'm disappointed that I overpaid even with the Presidents Day discount and another discount from the manager to give us the 5 year warranty "free". It was my fault, I should have checked online, but I was just tired of looking for a couch and wanted to get it over with. The computer stopped working while we were processing our transaction so the wait to check out was quite long, but I'm patient. They had to move to another computer, so the transaction entered the computer twice, we did not get charged twice, but they texted and emailed me twice every time and after calling to confirm I was only getting one couch, they still tried to deliver two couches this morning. We only took delivery of one. The delivery also showed up an hour before our 8am-12pm time slot. So we weren't ready for them and were still in pajamas, but the delivery guys were very nice, very quick, and courteous. I am unsure if we will return to Ashley for future purchases, I don't like being taken advantage of, and I feel like we were because they overcharged us. If we do return, I will be more diligent and research online before purchasing. I gave two stars because we were overcharged, they tried to deliver more than one couch even after I called about it, and the process took much longer than it should have.
Ordered bed frame from this store which was time critical as we were expecting guests. A day later, they called and said they are adding a complimentary memory foam pillow which I agreed to. Later they called and said order is delayed due to the pillow. And then delivered the wrong color of bed frame. Avoid this store.

I love Ashley. I have purchased so much stuff there. But it’s always so difficult to actually purchase something. I have made three large purchases on different occasions in the last month. The first time, it took over an hour. The kiosk wasn’t working, there was no pen, the credit card machine etc. Today, the couch came but it didn’t have the table. Fine table Coming Tuesday. Today I went in to purchase three items. The manager explained to me when the table was coming etc. fine. Then when I tried to purchase items, the same Manager explained that my account was not activated because I hadn’t been there in a year. The same guy! I put it on my credit card and left. I’m so sad because I have several Rooms left to furnish and I wanted to get furniture from Ashley furniture. But it’s not worth the hassle. Going to check out Bobs.

Went to the Canoga Park store to purchase a bed. Got a call that evening that the sale hadn't gone through and I would have to come back to the store in person to make the sale again. Went back, told Boris my salesman that I didn't want the bed delivered until all the parts were in stock. Got an email that the bed would be delivered without the needed rails. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service AGAIN telling them not to deliver until all the parts were in-- why would I want a half-assembled bed in my son's room. I get another email--good news, your order is shipping early. The guys show up today to assemble the bed and...the rails were missing. And of course I had already disassembled my son's bed to make room for the new one. So now my son has no place so sleep until the rails arrive...nine days after the initial promised date. Terrible incompetence at every level from Ashley Homestore. Never again.

The initial sales rep was nice, but the prices in the store are way over the online prices. When I went back to the store to discuss this, a very rude manager was talking up to me, trying to convince me to just walk away. They agreed to refund the difference after a while. They will also do everything in their power to sell you the 5 year warranty which I did not want, but they said they include for free by lowering the price of the furniture, which is way more than online to start with.
We loved our experience. Shadi is the best, he helped us with our purchases. We bought our bed and couch from Ashley and we love them. 👍🏻

Would not suggest anyone go to this location.We placed a order for a couch with Reneta who was very helpful.Once we go to close out the purchase of the order we were told that couch would take 4-6 weeks to arrive due to Covid and that it needed to be built In Wisconsin.The couch showed up with two end pieces ,and no center attachment.The delivery associate said that the rest of the couch was on its way.When we called to confirm the delivery of the rest of our order the following day.We were told that we did not buy that piece,and it was our fault for excepting the couch.The managers at this location were very shady in there tactics.They said they would pay for the missing piece if we payed for the delivery fee of $500.We explained that we were very unhappy with the service and would like to refund our order.They now said we either have to pay for the rest of the couch,and that they’re sorry for writing up the bill incorrectly and they want to help by charging us an additional $500 when we confirmed on a price.When we purchased the units In person at the the store.They will not refund our order,and have said it was a error in paperwork on there end,but when I spoke to the original manger.They said it was our fault ,and we purposely placed the order that way.The part that gets me the most is that Reneta made a diagram of the couch to clarify what we needed.This so far has been a horrible transaction.

This is a large store. The furniture is also very elegant and they have everything. They also offer many sales and good prices. The financing terms are great and its a great store to shop with many options.
The best thing about Ashley is the large selection they offer. When you enter the store, you are hounded by employees and some are more pushy than others. We however had a very pleasant experience and the employee we were working with was a very nice and patient. Deliveries were delayed because of the pandemic, but ultimately we are very happy with the purchases we made there. We bought a couch and a sofa, and they even cut us a really great deal. When we had called to track the status of our order, the customer service team was always helpful.The employees do work on commission so there is that pushy salesman vibe at times, but I think the customer service and products are worth it.
Fabricio was attentive and patient to our interests since our measurements were very specific, and persevered until we found the right sectional. He then worked out a deal that was satisfactory and affordable.
Terrible experience. Sales reps say whatever just to close a sale. My rep was not upfront about delivery delays and items unavailable, yet had no problem having me pay in full right on the spot. My order was made over a month ago. Today’s delivery had missing items, some of which now are not available until end of next month. Worst experience ever and I will never go back to Ashley!
It actually took a while to get some help as all associates were busy helping other customers. I walked to customer service and asked for help. The lady there had just finished a very long call but she greeted me with a smile and helped me out with my order. Her kindness and patience is what gives this review 5 stars.

WORST MATTRESS EVER BOUGHT! I bought a queen size mattress back on Oct 2019 not even a year it started cracking from the springs. And at this point I cant sleep well... Pay attention in my suggestion buy spring air or sealy...
This was a horrible experience. Firstly we went into the store to see the furniture we liked because we wanted to see if it actually looked like it's photos. We were trying to decide between 3 different items. None of the pieces looked like the photos and we ended up choosing something else. We then waited for it to be delivered. The first time they dropped off the wrong item and then came back and picked it up and left. No email no update for the next scheduling for correct delivery. I called to reschedule the next day. When the item didn't show up for the first scheduled time we I had to call again. I ended up calling 3 times that day and in the end was given 3 different times for delivery that day. Finally we called again and were told that the item was in fact out of stock and on back order. So it was NEVER actually on a truck at all?? We stayed home for two days waiting for this delivery that never came. The guy on the phone gave us no resolution, no offer to fix the problem in fact he suggested that we go back to the store and deal with the sales person and get another piece of furniture? Why would someone sell you something that didn't exist? How did a phantom item get on a truck for delivery TWO DAYS IN A ROW??? Terrible customer service!! Buyer beware the price in the store doesn't match the price online there is also a 200% mark up in the store. #awfulexperience

I had the greatest and easiest experience with Lucero. She was professional, kind and knowledgeable about the bed frames. She ordered the one I chose and explained all the charges and future procedures that I will expect. I was happy to find exactly what I saw online but needed to see it and know more about the delivery, installation and set up. Thank you for Lucero, She is a breath of fresh air in the retail furniture business.
The actual store where I bought my bed offered good service. Kate was great! However, delivery and installation did not go well. First, the drivers went to a wrong location, then they weren’t very friendly, then they refused to take my old box springs when I was told they wood, and finally, when it came time to put my bed together, they had the wrong hardware. Customer service said it could take 10-15 days to get the correct hardware. With my bad back, I was left with only my very expensive mattress on the floor, no bed to sleep on.
Everyone is very helpful and, having purchased there several times, they always stand behind their furniture and are great to work with. They're very customer driven.
This is not the type of store we usually shop in. We were in the shopping center for something else and my wife said lets go and look in Ashely. I really felt this was not our type of store, but I went along just to see. The first person to meet us at the door was very hard to understand. She showed us to what we wanted to see and when we wanted to see more she just sort of disappeared and started to help someone else. I wanted to leave at that point. We walked to the door and then I spotted just what we were looking for. A sofa in the color and style that would fit our home. We are used to having custom made furniture. As we were checking out this particular sofa a very nice fellow came by with an iPad around his neck. He was very nice and very helpful. We told him we were interested in this sofa but we had a dinner engagement to go to and asked if the discount would be available the next day after the promotion ended. He told us not to worry about it and gave us his card. We had dinner and came back that evening, found him and bought the sofa. We have to wait several weeks since it was not in stock. Lets see how it all turns out when it gets delivered.
They are very strict in not allowing returns. It is a coffee table that I bought just 1 week ago. I just wanted to return it and to buy a sofa instead, but it is like a big sin there. I will not buy anything from Ashley anymore.

I ordered a mattress in-store because I needed it fast, but they couldn't get it to me in under 10 days. (EDIT: it actually took over 3 weeks to arrive.) Would have been the same shipping time to order from the website, except the website lists the mattress for $300 cheaper. Their "manager's special" prices are a scam—they don't actually have the products in stock, they just order it shipped from the warehouse. I don't recommend shopping in-store here.
Dear customers, don’t purchase anything from Ashley. You will regret sooner or later they have the most horrible customer service, I was given a used table from the floor without being informed and was lied to that it is brand new!! The delivery men did a horrible job assembling so the table isn’t stable and came with bunch stains. I would post pictures to prove everything but unfortunately It doesn’t have an option here l! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM unless you want to deal with a headache! I will make sure I take a legal action against them for false information this is FRAUD!

Terrible service... They lie about their prices (cheaper prices on the website than in the store) and then change you delivery date 3-4 times. Go to living spaces or bobs furniture or any other furniture store instead. They are at least honest with you about prices and delivery date.
Bought a coffee table and two end tables, delivered in November. Within a month a piece of laminate on the bottom of the table started peeling away. I month! They came out to fix it and could not fix. There is no replacement part to order so they tried to blend it in with some waxy crayon. they were supposed to call to follow up.....never did. 3 weeks later, the top came loose off of the end table. Splintered off! Went to the store, the put notes in the computer and I waited for a call. No call. Finally reached a customer service rep who could not help me and referred me higher up. Charles Q who is another manager. KNow what they said. The coffee table was customer use and the end table was customer abuse! Refused to do anything. We're two senior citizens who because of Covid do NOT have people over.....do NOT have parties and we KNOW how to take care of furniture. NO furniture should start falling apart after 1-2 months. Fair warning to anyone buying from this company. Worst customer service ever! They're all very nice until something happens. Then they wash their hands of it. The gall and arrogance of trying to pawn this off as normal wear and tear and abuse???? Unacceptable. ps: I will continue to post my complaints. If that's the way I'm going to be treated, then this is the way I will treat them!

This store has the worst costumer service I have ever experience! I went on Saturday show the sales person the photo of the table I’m interested in. It’s on sale.. the photo shows a table and 4 chairs. So as we are looking at the table AND chairs. In front of the sales rep I say “ The chairs are so comfortable. I love them. He never mentioned that the chairs were not included. He never said ( by the way you are aware it’s the table only OR I see that you love the chairs, would you like to include them on the order?) No nothing! He only cared about the sale. And he knew the amount of money we wanted to spend so I truly feel he did not want to loose the sale. So he instead allowed all of us to waist our time. Yesterday I’m looking at the receipt and I noticed that It was table only. So we call cancel the order. We get a call asking for us to come in to get our refund. So my husband and I go in. I ask to speak to the manager. I wanted to express my frustration and advise that the sales person should be more clear on the advertisement if they can clearly see the consumer is being misled . The so called manager named Jacob Williams who claims to be the store manager who doesn’t even have costumer service skills let alone manager skills was the worst manager that I have ever dealt with. He is so UNCARING and thinks just because he is the store manager that he has no one to answer to and he can treat the consumer as rudely as he wants to. He would not even look at us when we were speaking to him. Then after I explain my frustration he still would not take his eyes off the computer screen and he just said.. sorry.... without or an ounce of concern! I say to him it doesn’t seem like it matters to you. Again he just says , sorry... making it so obvious that he could care less about my frustration and my time that was wasted. I began to let him know that I thought he was not a good manager and that he was making it so obvious that he didn’t care!!!! He began to tell us if we didn’t stop talking them he was not going to give us our money back and we would have to go online to get it. I said WHY what have we done wrong?! Just because you can’t handle the truth! My husband then said to him are you threatening us ? He said no.. but Is it my fault that you did not read Your receipt ! So rudely.. I was like we should’ve had to but I didn’t realize that this store could not be trusted! He said you called my employee stupid! I said you are a liar! I never said that.I said he didn’t do his job right!!!! He began telling me to go outside and wait till he gave my husband his money back! I said NO I don’t have to I’m not doing anything wrong!!! And he knew it! I asked him what did I do wrong that I have to go outside! He didn’t even answer!!! And he proceeded to give my husband his money back. Then I asked him “ who is your boss? His reply was “I’m the Store Manager “ I said “ So what,, that doesn’t mean you own the company!” Then he gave me his card and said call the 800 number that’s who is my boss.... He was Horrible!!!! This store doesn’t care about you or or time and only care about making a sale! This manager has no problem solving skills and he does not know how to bring positive solutions. He only knows how to add fuel to the fire.. and that is a recipe for disaster This guy has no business being a manager
Five stars for the store And the people who work there especially Melita de la Cruz! She was instrumental in helping me with my screwed up delivery. The customer service team didn't communicate all of the appropriate information and my original delivery was missed and turned into a mess.. Melita was amazing and getting everything fixed and getting the furniture to the house in a timely manner! Kudos to her however the customer service team needs to get their act together.

When into Ashley's Furniture store on November 7, 2020 in Canoga Park, CA and purchased a set of a love seat and a sofa. Salesman told me the total would include the 2 sofas, delivery and protection warranty so, I had to give a down payment of $252.00 and the remaining balance was used with a credit card, I am paying monthly $120-$125.00. As of today I have only a love seat for 2 people and we are a family of 5. As of today, I have not received what I purchased and every month I have received up 2-3 "delivery dates" and no sofa yet delivered to us to complete the order. Customer service seemed to repeat the same script when I call and I have a feeling I will never get what I paid for. I felt they lied to me and other customers at the store because they made it seemed it would be a delay only of a few weeks. We are now in January 13, 2021 and again they gave me a 3rd delivery date for January 26th. Ashley's Furniture will not confirm that I will get my sofa delivered on this day. Now I will have a worn out love seat by the time I received the matched sofa. I was literally lied too and pressured into purchasing this specific set of sofas knowing they have other complaints for same issue and knew they were on back order and would not deliver as promised. I am paying something I don't have and they have not called me with firm resolutions. I HAVE FILED A BBB Complaint like hundreds of others too. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR
I want to personally thank Melitta in the office of the canoga store for helping me. If it wasn't for her taking over and fixing my problem I had with all my deliveries of ny furniture I would have canceled my whole entire order. Even though it wasn't her fault that most of my deliveries got messed all up she came to the rescue handled the problem and then made me a happy customer again. Ashley needs to make her work hasnt gone unnoticed cause without her being there I might have canceled all of my orders. Thank you Melitta 😊 you are a life saver.

Bought a 5 piece sectional from Saleenia Wajia on Dec 4, 2020 at 6:16pm. She made a point to tell us that 3 pieces would be delivered on Dec 17, One piece on Dec 30 and the last piece on Jan 16. We said fine, we can handle that. She even hand wrote those dates on something and showed us in the store. At 6:38pm arrived home and looked at the printed paperwork.. it showed four items being delivered on Dec 30 and NOT Dec 17. Called the store to ask her about that, she never picked up the line, was told to call the delivery company. They confirmed Dec 30. Had she told us Dec 30 in the store, it wouldn&'t have changed anything, but why the lie? I prefer to deal in reality over lies. If you shop here, be on the look out for b.s.

Worst furniture ever!!! I bought outdoor furniture from Ashley two years ago and in that matter of time it has practically disintegrated. It’s supposedly wicker but all of the ‘wicker’ has broken and snapped and the furniture looks horrible. DON’T SHOP HERE!!!! Very very poor quality stuff. I’ve never had this happen to any furniture I’ve purchased. Plus, the customer service reps straight up tell you that you shouldn’t expect it to last if you’re buying it from them! Awful awful.
Bad, just bad. Ordered a TV console in September. They set up three delivery dates but never delivered the console. The last customer service rep told me the product was not in stock so I cancelled the order. They still charged my credit card . I had to call the credit card company to dispute the charge. So in the end, I never got the furniture and I spent a long time on the phone. Big waste of time. Go elsewhere. Their business model may be profitable for them, but not good for the customer.
Defective part and have called them 3 times to get replacement part and they sent wrong part once and twice nothing has come. My table sitting here unfinished for weeks because they can&'t send me ONE PART!!! I am tired of calling and might have to drive an hour to the nearest location to hope someone there can help me. What a horrible experience.
Two stars because I love the style of the dining room table I bought from here and the price was unbeatable. But I&'ve ran into a few problems that are worth sharing here. First, I ordered the dining room table online and waited about 6 weeks for it to finally be delivered, but that&'s not a problem because there are warnings on the website letting us know about the delivery delays so that&'s totally fair. After I received the dining room table and started to assemble it, I noticed one of the parts was defective. The part is one of the legs of the chair and it was missing the holes that it needs to connect with another part. After waiting 6 weeks for this, this was frustrating. So I called the customer service number to order a replacement for that part, waited another 2 weeks, and received THE WRONG PART. So instead of calling customer service, I went into this Ashley location and ordered the part again, but it&'s been weeks and I never received anything, not even an email confirmation that someone in the store ordered it for me. Nothing. I just tried calling the customer service number again and I waited on hold for about 15 minutes. As soon as someone answered, they hung up. I&'ve never experienced anything like this before and it&'s beyond frustrating. I&'ll never buy anything from here ever again. TLDR: I ordered a dining room table and 1 part was defective. Ordered a new part through customer service, they sent me the wrong part. Ordered a new part again in store, never received anything. Tried calling again, waited on hold, and they hung up on me.

They really need to improve their software to complete the sales. Systems down and crashes is frustrating for customers and sales persons. Good place to buy a furniture if it's on sale. Otherwise, I would rather shop at Costco.
Ordered a small couch over a month ago and was promised delivery on 11/22 between 1:15pm to 5:15pm. 5:30pm placed a call to store only to find out that couch was not scheduled and may be backordered. Waited all day for a delivery that was not going to show up. NOT COOL!! BEWARE OF THESE SCHIESTERS!!I will be making a follow up call on 11/23 to get the story and give them a piece of my mind. Could have worked but NOOOOO!!

Just a quick review, thank you Lucy for being so awesome. I can&'t stand when people hover over me when shopping but that was not the case with Lucy. She was there but so discreet. Made for such a please tshopping experience.
So I ordered a new couch and little dining room set. It was ordered sun Nov 1st. So were supposed to get the dining set delivered originally that friday but they were gonna call us later to schedule the couch. So I was like &"okay&". So friday came and I get a call that morning telling me oh they actually dont have enough in stock so they rescheduled it the following tuesday and I asked about the couch and they said &"oh yea we can bring the couch that day too&". So that tuesday came and they only brought the couch and I asked &"ok wheres the table?&" And the delivery guys tell me, &"oh it&'s actually back stock. They&'re supposed to call you about that.&" So I was like wth?? So I called &"and I had to call twice and they have very long hold times, and they told me &"oh we dont know where the table is... it could be on a truck but we dont know which truck.. so we will know in 24 to 48 hours&". And so I waited and no update for the whole 2 days. So I called again that friday and they said oh yea its here in the warehouse we will schedule it for tuesday (which is today). So earlier I was expecting to FINALLY have a dining room table and chairs but then as the ETA approached on their tracking system it says unable to complete and they already moved on to the next stop. So now I&'m like WTF! so I called, after being on hold for like 10 min, the line clicked. Called again, another 10 min or so someone picks up I ask what the hell, and she said oh well the notes say it&'s a NO GO and doesnt say why. So she gives me a phone number that&'s supposively the dispatch for the truck but I called it and after being on hold, turns out to be another customer service number. So I asked where is my table and this lady says its shows it&'s on a truck or something. We need to locate it. So I told her the ordeal I&'ve been going through and said I&'m about to ask for a refund cuz idk at this point if u guys even have a table and if it&'s your system that has an error. But she assured me there is a table and it&'s the last one and I ask her to update me by the end of the day and she says she will. And this convo just happened like 10 min ago. So I&'m litterally on my last thread of patience with them and depending on the update, I will ask for a refund. Terrible service. On the upside, they have really nice staff. The only reason why I didnt give just one star.

I'm so irritated with Ashley's Furniture. I was supposed to have my furniture delivered today (attempt 2) and no one showed up. They sent a text saying they were 30 minutes away and an hour passed. We even went downstairs to meet them in order to make the delivery easier. So I call the store and they tell me that the driver "called and couldn't leave a message after waiting for 20 minutes" he was even nice enough to take a picture of our building. However, whatever number he dialed was not the one on file. The gentleman on the phone proceeds to tell me that they (the drivers) attempt to call the customers that didn't receive their furniture in the morning around 3pm. "Please call the driver around that time". Well, I did and it was a waste of time. No answer. I called Dispatch and the lady told me that she wasn't aware of a policy change and that my furniture would be sent back to their warehouse for future delivery. Attempt 1 was back in October when I received a call stating delivery was scheduled for that Wednesday. I left work early and waited. No one showed up. No one called. Customer service then said a mistake was made and my furniture was not available. I went into the store and explained everything. They didn't seem interested in anything I had to say. The girl at the desk just said that there wasn't anything ready and "by the way your recliner won't be ready until next year around March". You can't seem to get a straight answer at this place. And then they attempt to make the excuse that there are 5 different systems they have to double check to have all the information. At this point I've missed days of work and continue to eat on my couch because my dining table is in a warehouse somewhere. I've learned my lesson.

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE BOUGHT A 5,000 $ mattress and it is infested with BED BUGS!!!!!!! The delivery service delivered our mattress without any packaging this should have been a huge red flag. Never had this issue before and ASHLEYS FURNITURE is doing nothing to help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a newborn baby and I am terrified that the bed bugs might have spread to his mattress. We have been sleeping on this bed for no more than 2 months!!!!!!!!! Me and my baby have been bitten up. I am so disappointed in this business, you are better off at IKEA or Living spaces. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!

Worst experience ever ordering pieces at this company. My family and I came to the canoga park location with full knowledge of what we wanted or what features we wanted for a couch. We didn't come in there for suggestions or recommendations on pieces since we already knew that we wanted was a leather or pleather couch with fully automatic recliners. Our sales associate Vaughn who at the time, we thought was offering great customer service only to find out during delivery that his energy and service was nothing but a facade to only make a big sale that day as the couch was not the only thing we bought. He and his manager Jacob were FULLY aware of what we wanted and they both had promised that what we wanted (fully automatic recliners) were possible. Vaughn had reassured us multiple times since we double checked multiple times with him, if it was really possible to get fully automatic recliners and without a doubt, he said yes. During delivery, the workers let us know that 2 of the recliners we ordered were not automatic and are back ordered. We gave the canoga park location only to be received by dishonest associates like Jacob and Vaughn who are now claiming they never made such promises. Dealing with their customer service is also a nightmare who only keeps you on hold and hangs up after 15 mins of being on hold. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

We purchased a TV stand and a gaming desk for my son. After spending well over $1k for both back in August 2020. Here it is Oct 29 and the tv stand was just delivered 2 days ago. Where is the desk you ask...? Good question. I assume they are waiting on the tree where they get their wood from to grow, because NOW they say we will not get the desk until the middle of December 2020. Really, over four months for a desk. When calling the customer service number, no one answers. We had also bought a set of couches and side tables, we got those delivered as promised and noticed they went on sale less than a week after we paid full price for all of them. Since they promise that they "price match" we contacted them to see if they would honor the sale price and give us the $500 credit for the difference. We didn't even want the money, we were going to buy more furniture.... BUT they didn't answer, I left 5 messages stating exactly what I needed, but NO ONE EVER CALLED US BACK!!! EVER! I work under the Dept. of Consumer Affairs and I have to say this company has the WORST customer service EVER!

I have never in my life actually experienced such outright deception. I was supposed to have my bed delivered on the 17th on October. The salesman (I will leave his name out) made a big show of going back and forth between the main station and the station we were at. He left me there for several minutes to "go clear the delivery for the 17th." I would not sign the documents until I knew I could have my bed delivered on a day I would be home. After getting that confirmed I agreed to purchase around 3K worth of furniture. So the 17th rolls around and I have no received a call or any info about delivery so I call Ashley. They tell me they have no notes about a delivery on the 17th and I need to wait until the 21st which is a weekday. I get angry and say I've been misled. After two and a half hours on the phone I say cancel my order. They put on a manager who essentially yelled at me we are going to refund you the delivery fee plus 300 dollars. I say that will work because at this point I don't want to have to go out and rebuy everything. I made the mistake of letting them deliver the items before actually receiving the refund. So the items come and the delivery guys break two our of the three items. They take pictures and apologize profusely and say they have called Ashley and will have a someone come fix So I agree. I was told to wait for 2-3 days and someone would call me to get my credit card number for the refund. lol. No one ever called so I call back on the 24th and low and behold there are no notes about a refund or fixing my stuff. I had to make the appointment. They will literally say anything they have to say to save a sale and then never deliver. I am shocked that someone could outright lie to my face. I have pictures of the damaged items as well as the damage to my house. I work in sales and I get there is a fine line between customer expectations and what the reasonable reality is but the fact of the matter is you cannot lie to your customer. You can pursued or be vague, but you CAN NOT LIE.
I had a horrible experience buying from Ashley HomeStore. Customer service is terrible! I&'ve been trying to cancel my order for an entire week already and I&'ve gotten no where. The customer service lies and is not knowledgeable about the cancelation process. I would not recommend buying from here. Absolutely terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Buying from here caused more stress that I didn&'t need.

We waited over a month for our bed set, today when they arrived they had everything except the bed. They never called to let us know they wouldn&'t be able to deliver on the date promised and acted surprised when we refused the order. Never shopping here again horrible experience!

Horrible! After waiting for over a month and a half we received our furniture only to find it defective. There is literally a pierce of wood sticking out of the side of our sectional! Called their customer service and after waiting for 30 minutes they told us they would have to send out a tech to inspect it - this will take another month! Once the tech signs off then we will receive our replacement. Save your money, time, and sanity - do not shop here!!!
I went in yesterday looking for a small dining set I was sold a very expensive table that did not look worth $1,200. I was told in order to finance I had to put a down payment of $200. I did buy the table at the time but I was just not set on the price so I went on Ashley's website where I saw the same model, color, and style for $300 and they sold it to me for $1,200. I went back to show the manager and she was no help, asking if the online item was from today like she didn't believe me. I showed her the ad online and the price. After cancelling my order they told me I wouldn't have to pay a down payment if I paid for the price online. So I agreed when she totaled it up she told me I still need to pay a down payment of 150 what's the point of financing if I'm already paying half of it. I don't recommend anyone going here they are just after your money. I will never go back to this place!!!
I was greated by soeone behind a small kind-of check point, but was not asked any questions, nor my temperature was take. I was left alone perusing throughout the store & i was offered assistance once.
I hope anyone considering buying anything from this place reads the honest reviews first. This place is trash. The furniture might look nice but the people working here and beyond incompetent. No brains at all. I ordered a sofa and love seat waiting two weeks for delivery just so they can deliver one of them. Totally ridiculous. The minute you step foot their sales people hound you making you feel uncomfortable wanting to sell you something as if their life depends on it. I do not recommend this.

Very Horrible Experience. We paid in Store for the Clock and Wall Art and they said you cannot pick up will be shipped (We did not ask for shipping). When the items were delivered the clock did not work and the Wall Art was damaged. The Customer service never picked up the call and we went back to the Store the manager was very RUDE and said we cannot do anything that was Shipped you need to contact the wear house (Really !!!. I paid in Store). I am still waiting for someone responsible to answer my questions where i have paid money and received a defective products. SCAM. Should be given Negative Stars

Horrible service! I was there to place a large order. Just needed dimensions and delivery take. Even though there were literally 4 customers and plenty of salespersons, the guy who "helped" me looked agitated . Barely spoke with me and after 5 minutes basically told me to read the back of the sticker !!! And walked off! Thankfully there are other furniture stores. We ordered furniture a month ago and neither can we track it nor do we have a clue what happened to it. The sales people lied and said it was going to be delivered by now but it hasn't even shipped and we have called the store multiple times for an update yet noone helps (on hold for over an hour) then tell us to go online to check the status but the order isn't even showing! I went into Ashley's furniture store 2 months ago looking for a new sofa. I couldn't make up my mind and the gentleman, Vaughn, who helped me was so patient with me, though I didn't buy anything. Well, today we returned and we were able to purchase a brand new sofa, a new bed along with and a television consul for our new home. We went in there asking for Vaughn, the same gentleman who helped me 2 months ago. He was so knowledgeable, kind, patient and funny. I went back to Ashley's because of his service and of course the furniture pieces :)

I did not understand that time because i was with my little son. 1week later when i wanted to clean it, i saw that it is broken. I called them very soon but they do not accept. I can not understand .... i paid for the new one but obviously they sent me the used and broken table. I am so mad.

It was a horrible experience, I was racially profiled for using gift cards by the customer service woman. She kept interrogating me about how I got the gift card she asked for my information twice to verify that the gift card was real. And kept interrogating me on how I got the gift card as if I stole it. She and the women sitting next to her both started pulling up my pass orders and info, treated me like I was less of a person . I demanded to speak to the store manager, if it wasn’t for the store manager Jacob, who was a wonderful person ,Jacob is a great asset to the company. . the whole thing would’ve been a really really difficult experience. I’m still shaken by the way the woman treated me .

This store has some really nice furniture, it is clean and organized. However, customer service was awful. If you’re not buying immediately, you’re not a priority. Employees have to talk to every other employee to get something accomplished. Over heard people have complaints about financing, missing pieces for furniture they purchased, incomplete orders. Stay away unless you gotta have it and have patience to deal with poor follow through. I was trying to buy a small item for the time being and it took 20 min to eventually cash out due to the small amount of my transaction/priority.

Hello I&'m just writing to let you know how insensitive and caring this company is ! I have a bed frame I bought from you guys last November/December . The bed frame has broken down on me multiple times. It&'s a horrible bed frame and the screws on every corner fall off and my 9 month old son got ahold of them . Do you know how scary that is ? For you to have to be worried about the bed frame you bought to be dismantling and the screws falling apart and your son getting ahold of it . That&'s so disappointing . So first I was told I can get a refund for the damn $200 I paid but now I&'m told to suck it up and deal with it ! I&'m so disappointed. Your agents basically told me I have to call them every time. Breaks down . Like ok really it breaks down a lot ! So I&'m supposed to keep it and just be on the look out for the screws every day just to make sure I pick them up from the floor before my baby does ? That&'s horrible . Protection plan for what ? Huh for you guys to not even offer to send me a replacement bed frame . Ha , protection plan for what ! I&'m super disappointed in this company . I hope you know I will never ever buy anything from you again !

Do not buy one single item from this store. My dad and stepmom bought 2 couches. Both were delivered damaged. They sent one back and have waited a month for them to come and fix the other one (damage to frame back of couch). They will not credit her and are threatening to send it to collections all while my dad is on home hospice in his final days. To top it off they ordered a dining room table that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and she called and they said they cancelled the order-that she already paid for- and haven't credited that amount either. I am fuming right now!!
Do not buy from this company!!!!!! We went into the store at the end of May and fell in love with a really nice and expensive couch and ottoman. After the salesman sold us and we were in the checkout process, he said: "oh it will not be available until the middle of July". That was fine, we knew delays were going to happen, especially with everything going on. We set the delivery date and made arrangements to be at home knowing it would come that day. We even called the Friday before to make sure everything was on schedule. Well, Monday rolled around and we sat and waited all day. We finally called them again around 5pm and waited on hold for about 45 minutes before someone said that it is delayed and we will get it by July 30th. We just decided to cancel. The person understood and said that someone from the store would call us back to confirm cancelation. The following day a rep from the store called and said "are you sure you want to cancel? It will be there by the middle of August". How can one rep say that it would be here at the end of July and the other the middle of August??? After finally telling the rep no please cancel my order, she said another rep would call me to confirm by Friday. Welp, I waited all day for that phone call and nothing happened. I finally called them again and waited the 1-hour long wait and the person finally picked up and said you should see your return within 7 to 10 business days. This is the worst Customer Service/Company policy I have ever seen. I will never buy from Ashley again. Even though the furniture is decent, I would never ever ever shop here again. So my husband and I recently moved and we went to Ashley to buy a couple pieces of furniture for our new place. We originally just bought an outdoor set and then we went back for a couple couches. We told them to ship the couches to the same address as the outdoor set (obviously) and that was that. My husband received a confirmation email several days later, however, that had his old address on it. This address was several years old. No problem, we just called them and updated the address. You&'d think that would be the end of it. Wrong! The day comes when the furniture is supposed to be delivered, and we get a call at 7am (pretty far outside the noon to three delivery window, by the way) that the delivery driver will be at the house in 15 minutes. Ok, whatever, at least we&'re getting our stuff, right?So my husband rushes over to the new house to meet them and...they&'re not there. He waits 45 minutes and still no one shows up. They call him back and it turns out they STILL had the old address. No one changed it. So he&'s been on the phone with lots and lots of different people since then and they just keep pushing the date further and further out and we have no couch.I feel like I should add that one of the main reasons we chose to get a couch from them was the early delivery date they provided. Now they say they can&'t deliver the couch until next Thursday. Honestly the chain of incompetence from the original sales guy getting the address wrong to customer service not updating the address to the delivery team calling outside the window back to customer service refusing to schedule a reasonable delivery date is unacceptable in my book. If a business makes a mistake they should do their best to fix it in a timely manner.

Do not buy from this company!!!!!! We went into the store at the end of May and fell in love with a really nice and expensive couch and ottoman. After the salesman sold us and we were in the checkout process, he said: "oh it will not be available until the middle of July". That was fine, we knew delays were going to happen, especially with everything going on. We set the delivery date and made arrangements to be at home knowing it would come that day. We even called the Friday before to make sure everything was on schedule. Well, Monday rolled around and we sat and waited all day. We finally called them again around 5pm and waited on hold for about 45 minutes before someone said that it is delayed and we will get it by July 30th. We just decided to cancel. The person understood and said that someone from the store would call us back to confirm cancelation. The following day a rep from the store called and said "are you sure you want to cancel? It will be there by the middle of August". How can one rep say that it would be here at the end of July and the other the middle of August??? After finally telling the rep no please cancel my order, she said another rep would call me to confirm by Friday. Welp, I waited all day for that phone call and nothing happened. I finally called them again and waited the 1-hour long wait and the person finally picked up and said you should see your return within 7 to 10 business days. This is the worst Customer Service/Company policy I have ever seen. I will never buy from Ashley again. We recently bought a recliner chair from Ashley's Home Store. The chair turned out to be too bulky for the room. I went back immediately to Ashley's to inform them the chair did not fit comfortably in the room. We communicated with them everyday from the time we received the chair. They just informed me that because we signed the paperwork they are unable to credit or even do an exchange for something else. I was hoping they would work with us being a first time customer. Most furniture companies will at least work with you, but not Ashleys. Bad Customer Service all around. Think twice before you purchase there.
Been here for about 15 minutes and nobody has even asked if I needed help, or asked if I Someone had helped me, 4 employees literally walked right by me and avoided eye contact. But 3 employees are standing at front greeting people now smh

We recently purchased a new dining room set and we had the pleasure of being helped by John. John was wonderful and he made the experience for us so quick and easy! We can’t thank him enough for that!

There's 2 parts to my review. The first is my experience in the store. I went to see if I could look at a bedroom set I've been interested in buying for sometime. I made my appointment online for the same day that afternoon. I was welcomed at the door and directed to my Sales Associate Luigi who was also very welcoming and tried very hard to find the set in the store. Unfortunately the actual bedroom set was not on display but the matching dining set was so I got to see the quality and color etc which finalized my decision to move forward in purchasing the set. The process was smooth and easy. The store manager Jacob came over and introduced himself. Assisted with a few details in locating all pieces of the set so that they could be delivered all together. And even better, the set was available for delivery just a few days later. Luigi and Jacob were both really great. I had a wonderful experience in store. I got the Raelyn Bedroom set, pretty much all pieces + foundation. 5 Stars for in store service. Come Delivery day....the delivery truck showed up at the earlier time-frame which was great. The drivers came in masked and quickly put the set together in all about maybe 30-40 min at most. Once they left I noticed that the legs down the middle of the bed weren't touching the floor but it was a simple fix as there was an adjustment screw that just needed to be lowered so that it sat on the floor properly and supported the bed. In order to do this...I had to lift the box spring and mattress by myself to get to that part of the bed frame. This is when I noticed that the box spring had a huge hole at the bottom and a few others spread around the bottom. I'm pretty sure the drivers saw this once they unwrapped the foundation and SHOULD HAVE made mention of it but they didn't. I immediately called Ashley to report this and they had to schedule a technician to come out and look blah blah go thru the process so they can send over a new one. IN THE MEANTIME......suddenly, we notice rats/mice had moved themselves into my house! We never had this issue before. EVER. Not inside or outside our home. The only way they could have come was in that foundation that had the holes. IMAGINE how upsetting this is not to mention disgusting; to be woken up at night to hear your kitchen being torn apart and something running around under your bed in the room. Freaked me out! I contacted Luigi who then had Jacob call me. I was advised to just dispose of the foundation, a new one was ordered to be delivered. Emails and calls were sent to corporate to call me. This was on Monday. Today is Friday. I did get the new foundation this morning, but still NO CALL or any type of contact from Ashley regarding the rodent issue. This is quite upsetting considering this isn't some ordinary problem. I also spent a few thousand on this bedroom set, PLUS having to buy traps and contact exterminators to try to resolve this rodent issue which does not happen over night. Although I really love my bedroom set and am DEFINITELY NOT happy at all with the Service or I should say NO SERVICE from Corporate about this. I expected a call the same day I spoke with the in store manager. A week later and still nothing. TERRIBLE. ZERO STARS if I could for ignoring a customers BIG ISSUE of a rodent infested house I have to deal with!

Store is closed when the greeting says it’s open. Estimated wait time was supposed to be 4 weeks but now I’m waiting10 weeks for an office chair?!?!. How can they take your money in a minute but then take three months to deliver a simple home office chair?
Was here about a week ago looking around for a new sofa and dining table and was able to find everything I wanted and the salesman was helpful as well. We even made changes on what we wanted and had no problem with it. Very helpful and they have a lot of things to choose from. I would definitely recommend to shop here if you are looking for some new furniture.

I went here to buy a mattress adjustable base. I have been looking online at their options so I decided to go in and look. The lady that helped me was totally inept and didn't really uh bderstand how to sell the product. I was really frustrated but the manager Jacob was amazing. He made up for the lack of knowledge of the sales associate. I am a little leary but I will go back and hopefully there will be better sales peopke.
This store does not follow the covid-19 safety guidelines. We were greeted at the door and told that we had to give them our name by a man with his mask around his chin. I asked why I had to give him my name since I was there Saturday and wasn't asked for it. He said if we wanted to come in the store we had to give him a name. I did not appreciate this pressure tactic and I commented how uncomfortable I was for my safety that he wasn't wearing a mask. He raised his hand up to his face, but didn't raise his mask up. He said I had a bad attitude...um excuse me?!? I'm a customer coming to spend money in your store because I was assured that it was a safe environment to come shop in, but instead I was told I had a bad attitude because I called him out for not wearing his mask?!?? We walked in and were greeted by a much nicer woman, however at that point I was so upset for the treatment we just left. The 1st guy was now replaced by another guy, with his mask around his chin as well. So disappointing. What terrible customer service. Update- we went to Bob's discount Furniture down the street, where they check you temperature at the door (which isn't required, but quite the opposite experience) and happily spent our money on a new living room set and bedroom set.
I’ve been waiting about 5 months to write this review, trying to find the words to express what we experienced upon our multiple visits to and from Ashley. We recently bought a new house and needed to start from scratch. We went to living spaces and basically had it all figured out. That was until we set foot in Ashley and met Jacob. In a world where customer service seemingly doesn’t exist, Jacob is the consummate professional. He literally helped us reimagine our dream home, room by room. He always knew every piece they had available, wasn’t afraid to provide his feedback, and while everyone has their own style and visions, he easily sets his aside to accommodate yours. I never once felt pressured by Jacob, in fact just the opposite - I mean we’ve been there on multiple occasions throughout the construction process over the last 5 months - and every time we come back Jacob remembers our names, everything we’ve purchased in the past and provides ideas as to how best to tie the room together. Words can’t express how grateful my wife and I are for Jacobs professionalism, he’s experience, insight, expertise and most importantly, his top notch customer service. Save yourself the trouble, while there’s multiple places to buy furniture, there’s only one place and one guy you need to see to get everything you need and the customer service you deserve. Go see Jacob at Ashley in Canoga Park and don’t think twice.
I was glad that I didn’t have to make an appointment so I appreciate the accommodation. However, I felt very rushed by my sales associate. It didn’t seem like she cared about me liking the couch I would buy, rather it seemed like I was wasting her time. It may be that she talks fast, but I still felt a little pressured to just pick one already and move along. I might return my purchase as I’m not crazy about the unit I picked, it felt like a rushed decision.

Horrible, awful experience at the Canoga Park stire in Victory with a sales woman who was so unhelpful and so rude. I have a charge at Ashley's and needed to buy a dinning room set today. I ended up leaving because they really had no desire to help me so we left and went to Bob's discount Furn, so helpful, so wonderful and much better prices. Thank you rude lady, you saved me some $$$$.

The staff at Ashley are awesome, very friendly and helpful. Mr Jacob the store manager approved an additional 10% discount for me as a first responder when I purchased my dresser with mirror and my chest with drawers. He was very tentative and respectful. I was pleased and extremely satisfied with my visit at Ashley furniture store. I will highly recommend my friends, coworkers and everybody to visit Ashley furniture store in Woodland Hills Ca for a treat. You will not be disappointed. Their customer service department is staffed by intelligent and honest people who will go out of their way to earn your business. Thank you Mr Jacob and staff for saving me some money. I just relocated to Woodland Hills a week ago because of hospital job.
I went in here during quarantine. I absolutely needed a new couch. I got great service rep, cant remember name Mike - John something like that. Real attentive. Bought an amazing couch that I LOVE!! Wish I hadn't waited so long. While I was looking around at all they had really nice looking furniture. I cant wait to go back and add things to my home.

Ashley's furniture was good to me in the past and keeping that in mind I returned to make another purchase. Since it's COVID season I had to make the purchase online. I placed my order pretty easy and quick I must add. I go to my email to check for an order confirmation and nothing. I gave it a day still nothing. So called Ashley's 5 times and no answer. So ended up conversing with an agent online the worst experience ever. Finally got to one and she said she would help and talk finance about removing the charge and it's been a week and nothing. So contacted them again and this time they tell me to call the bank asking if they received any call from Ashley's. First of all y am I doing your job. I caved and made the call the bank says they never received the call and on their end it looks like the charge are processed. So I went to an Ashley's store personally and they said they can't help me and I have to be patient. This has been most frustrating experience ever I discourage anyone from doing business with Ashley's they don't care for their customers they are the worst of the worst they need to shit down or change their attitude.

The couch is gorgeous and the price was great. It is really hard shopping online for furniture. You really have to feel it and see how it will fit your space. Plus they have 0% financing for 60 months if you need it. (Wow! This is part of a current promotion.) Highly recommend this location. I have never been here and was surprised at all the variety and high quality items they had for fair prices. Great customer service. Thanks!

Affordable furniture... Always low quality. I had to custom my bedframe after I got married cause before that it only got slept in and the bed I suppose was literally meant just to SLEEP IN. I had some other furniture but it literally fell apart the first year and I trashed it... Looked like partial board made with a cute glass fireplace heater shoved into it. Last year I got some couches , reclining and electrical.. definitely to most expensive on the floor but super cushiony !!! 6 month using it and I love it
Everything is in credibility overpriced so that the desperate salesmen can talk you down to a lower price and trick you into thinking you got a good deal when in reality you still paid more than what you would've paid elsewhere. Right when u walk in theres about 12 sales reps are constantly hounding you. I can definitely tell they are paid by commission. Seems Like a big scam to me. Instead of pricing everything double, price it fairly so customers dont feel cheated or intimidated.
This is probably the Worst customer service you can get. Walked in to get furniture I saw online. Ordered it with a salesperson, handed home my Ashley credit card. He came back to get $175.00 for taxes and trucking fees. I told him no. He said let me see if my manager can over ride this. I told him I don't like games, I left and ordered online. 5 days later, my furniture arrived. Doesn't fit thru the front door. Dispatcher told me the Ashley uses 3rd party trucking. He said that over the balcony delivery is what I needed. Ashley store called me regarding delivery for balcony on sat. I called on Friday to make sure we have a balcony delivery, women said it's on your paperwork, but the same truckers are coming. They don't do balcony delivery. So now it's 10 days without a couch. I cancel the delivery for Saturday, found another place to buy furniture. I was going to use the Ashley credit card but they never canceled my order so that means I cannot get the new furniture from another store because they have a hold on my credit card until 3-5 days I called customer service and they said there's nothing they can do. This is not the way you handle customers. Very dissatisfied with your company. NOBODY CARSES INCLUDING SUPERVISORS

Our salesperson Vaughn was so helpful and patient. We went in thinking we'd look at one couch and ended up not liking it as well in person versus online. We told him we were going to go look at another store, so he gave us his card and said he'd be there if we came back. After looking at the other store down the road, we went straight back. Vaughn helped us look at other couches and we went with one we saw as we first walked in. We receive our couch at the end of March. can't wait. Thank you Vaughn!
This store has the worst customer service save your time and your money and go somewhere that actually cares about their customers. There is no return or exchange policy and you are s.o.l if you get your purchase home and it doesn't work. Will not be recommending this store to anyone of my friends, family or clients
I went in looking for bunk beds and now have a new couch plus bedroom furniture because of the great deals. I had some problems with wrong items on order but Jacob, Sylvia, Zara and Somi went out of way to address problems and fix. The problems occurred from a new person on training floor. First I was I mad but Jacob and Sylvia did a great job calming down. The whole experience was definitely interesting but worth it. Only reason no 5 is I’m waiting for delivery before I repost but the service and managers get 5 in my eyes
They brought a non functioning sofa. Why not look at it before delivery? I won’t recommend shopping there!!!
absolutely the worst delivery customer service. We were told we would get the items the next day (on a Saturday). That didn’t happen. So they refunded $100 for the delivery fee and then split up the day of deliveries on Monday and Tuesday- is that a joke? Do they not realize that people have jobs and scheduling deliveries on two different days during the week is completely unacceptable. Expect a great experience in the store, but don’t be fooled by the fox in sheep’s clothing. After you leave the store, expect headaches and everything BUT what was agreed upon and promised.

So our bed happen to break in the middle of the night on a Sunday.. so we needed a new bed immediately. We decided to try Ashley&'s in Northridge & in Canoga Park. Note this review is specifically for the Canoga Park location.As soon as we walked in, Ani was extremely attentive and welcoming. She asked what we were shopping for and gave us our space while we looked around. She did not follow us everywhere like they do at other furniture stores. We decided on 2 different bedroom sets (bed frames, dresser, & chest) and she was able to give us a killer deal on the 2 bedroom sets along with 2 Sealy mattresses! She discussed with the store manager, Jacob, who was also very pleasant and humorous. I would give these two a 5 star review if they delivery service didn&'t suck!!!!The sets were scheduled to be delivered on 1/18/20, a whole week after our bed broke. So we had to sleep on the old mattress on the floor for an entire week. So come Saturday morning on 1/18/20, we did our due diligence cleaning and making space for the delivery team to have a clean open space to set up the new bedroom set. The delivery team arrives about an hour late from the time promised and then they give us the bad news. The bed railings are BROKEN!!! What?!! Having no choice, they only leave the mattress, the dresser, & the chest. But no bed!! So here we are again, told we had to wait until 2/1/20 (their proposed new delivery date). ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! I immediately called customer service and they offered to refund the delivery fee which required me to go back to the store. The agent said she couldn&'t give me a delivery date sooner over the phone, so I would need to go to the store in person to get my refund and pretty much fight for a closer delivery date. I was very upset for all the inconvenience, but I still went on Sunday morning. Ani was there again and she apologized for everything. Jacob showed up again and he offered some of our money back and had the customer service department in store schedule us for a closer delivery date. This was the beginning of another headache.I clearly asked for delivery on Saturday because there was no way I was going to take a day off work during the week. So come Tuesday 1/21/20, the Ashley delivery team is blowing up my phone saying they are outside my house to deliver! WHATTTTT?!! I never confirmed a TUESDAY DELIVERY! So again, I had to call customer service to make sure they had a scheduled me for Saturday 1/25/20!!! This time again they apologized and confirmed I would get the bed on Saturday.After 2 weeks of sleeping on the floor, the bed finally got delivered on Saturday 1/25/20, being 2 hours late from the time they texted they were on their way. Ashley&'s is a decent furniture warehouse, with delightful staff, but their delivery services really need more structure and punctuality! Please check the items before you show up to set up and realize they are broken!!!!

From the moment I walked in the door on Saturday Joseph was attentive and helpful. Joseph remained nearby to answer any questions and to walk us through his recommendations. We settled on getting the first manual recliner couch that Joseph showed us with the help of Silva. Silva and Joseph both impressed me by how quickly and efficiently they offered their services and how they reassured my grandmother that we had made the right choice. Silva assisted my grandmother by communicating in her native tongue, which helped put my grandmother at ease. Having a grandmother who needs to take her time with her mobility around the store the right customer service can make her smile and the rest of her family smile along with her. Thank you Joseph and Silva for making my Saturday go so smoothly. I highly recommend the both of them and they are the perfect example of how customer service should be in every store.

Ashley sells a dismal selection of plastic-covered monstrosities in such exotic shades as miserable mocha, dismally dark, corpse grey and bile.

Just two week after purchase, the king size mattress loose the thread along the side creating a 3-4 ft long opening (this happened when I put on the bedsheet and I am not a strong person either) The counter height dinning set ( table and 6 chairs) wobbling so much, tech came out but unable to fix anything. I contacted CS and not hear from them. After reading reviews, I feel like I have no luck to even hear from them or if they could do anything for me. Very disappointed and will not come back to Ashley.

Incredibly bad customer service. Quick to take your money but not accommodating at all when your product does not match what you thought you were purchasing from the store. This was my experience. And beware if purchasing from the store as opposed to online. The Corporate Office will tell you they have nothing to do with store bought issues. After receiving my recliner, the foot rest wasn't as long as the floor model. They said it was due to wear and tear and offered me a swap with the used store model with no discount AND I would have to deliver/pick up myself. Incredible. Never have I had such bad customer service in my life. Now I'm stuck with an $800 recliner that I can't use. Oh, they offered me a store credit of 50% towards another chair too as an option. Great deal for them, especially if it's 50% of the sale price. NEVER will I shop at this place again. Neither should you.
Do not shop at this store. That are not trust worthy. On Black Friday I came to shop for my new home. I purchased several items for my bedroom and dinning room, a day after I found out that one of the items is too big and will not fit the space I have, I went to the store on Sunday, 2 days after I placed the order, I've asked to remove one item and to change the mattress to a different model, that held me at the store for more then an hour waiting and several sales persons attempt to convince me not to make changes and advices me that if I do they have to cancel the entire order and re-do it again and that it will take more time, I've ended spending more then 3 hours at the store trying to make the change I wanted, during the long wait time I went on Ashley website and find out that the store actually did a fraud on me and over priced the items. The items prices on my order were initially higher then the price listed for the same items on their own website and with their special black Friday sale they gave a percentage discount of overpriced items which after discount was still higher. I decided to cancel the entire order. It's being a week since I requested to cancel and I still didn't get the refund. They are holding $15,000 of my credit card funds. I got a message that my scheduled delivery is coming on the 11th after I requested several times to cancel. I'm still waiting... I'll be back here with updates I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE HOME STORE!

And they have me a call at 4 letting me know that they are running later another 2 hours BUT GUESS what my delivery was only delivered at 11 pm. BUT WHATS worse than WASTING my whole day. THEY GOT the WRONG COLOR and I called the store the next day FOUR TIMES by a customer service representative Christina whom claimed spoke to the "manager" JACOB who suppose to call me back but guess what after 4 times of trying to reach them and promising me that the manger will "call back" cause he is busy and I waited the whole day for there call and simply the excuse was " the manger is busy with customer" but wait am I not a customer needing assistance ? 2 DAYS later of not getting any response back from the manger or the customer service representatives I decided to go to the store. The manger was off and the customer service Lucy was not very helpful or understanding. I used to shop at Ashley's for a long time for both of my apartments but now I lost the respect for there terrible customer assistance.
I purchased a set of furniture here. When I went home I checked the prices online in their website and there was a difference of $400 with the 10% discount there was on their website. They offered 24 months 0% interest financing in the store when I purchased the furniture and when I asked for a price match they said they're going to change the finance terms and offer me a 6 months financing. I feel like I was scammed and all I got was a hard inquiry on my credit report. Their customer services was awful after I complained about the prices but when I was shopping they were treating me different and they were much nicer.

I am writing this letter to you to let you know that I made one of the worst decisions in my life that I totally REGRET and will never make again. On Aug 21, 2019 I purchased a new bed and mattress from your store located in Canoga Park, CA.The salesperson was very friendly and nice, knowledgeable and worked hard on getting me the best deal possible. I left the store that day very happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, that feeling did not last and rapidly turned from a good experience to terrible experience, because the whole transaction was not completed until Oct 26, 2019.My furniture was delivered to the new location where I was moving to about a week later. Two days later I noticed two different problems with the bed. First there was box under my bed of slats/railings. Second the bookcase headboard was to have a LED light stripe incorporated in that did not work.I called the store to report the problems, they were able to schedule an appointment to have a tech specialist come out to my house I thought it was to fix the problems. I was told at the time I would get a call from Ashley with a window of time that the person would show up. I never received that call. I finally called customer service to get this information. The system immediately recognized my phone number and indicated I had an appointment tomorrow, but no time mentioned. I made my selections need in order to talk to someone. Over an hour later, I finally got a person. Was I upset? Course I was, who would not be if they had to wait over an hour to talk to someone regarding customer services issue. Finally, on my third attempt and almost three hours later I got a hold of person who could provide me a timeframe when I should expect the tech person to arrive. The technician did not install the slats/railing, or fix the light in the headboard, he only tightens a few screws on the bedframe. Over the next couple of weeks, whenever I tried to call Ashley, I had to wait anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes to get to talk to a customer service rep. Only to have that person, provide inconsistent information, lack of desire to provide solution to my problems, or a promise that quickly went unfulfilled. In addition, I received several calls from your company to schedule time to pick up the slats, which I discover couple weeks after the initial service call where not even for the bed I had purchased. I wanted to have one service call to the house and have the slats which were delivered in error picked up and have the headboard light fixed all at same time. I went back to the store to see if I could get some results in person. After a while one of the persons at the store end up going into your system and requested an even exchange of the broken headboard for a new one. Only to get a call 5 minutes or so after leaving the store being told corporate will not allow it, because as best as I understood was due to some internal accounting issues. I found out a few days later that the internal issue was because the parts the technician had ordered several weeks earlier was finally in process, so that there will be extra parts delivered to me when there would been a new headboard delivered to me as well. I finally received the spare parts for the light stripe. I scheduled another appointment for another technician to come out and repair the lights. After another visit, I was able to plug the lights, but it would only flash red, white and blue when plugged in. In addition, the technician would not or could not pick up and take the slats that were not even meant for the bed I purchased. The technician was confused and clueless as to why the lights were doing what they were doing and had no solution on how to fix this new problem. Upon my second call on this matter, I was asked about a remote control. I was asked what remote, as this was never mentioned when the bed was originally delivered or with either tech visit to my house. A remote control was ordered for me. During this time of getting the lights "working" and receiving the remote control in the mail, I had to succumb to Ashley's policy of what is best for the company and not the paying customer and scheduled to have people from the warehouse come out and pick up the slats. It took three attempts for the warehouse to pick up the slats. Because the first two times they kept going to my old address instead of the current place of residence, which was very odd considering the bed/mattress, both times the technician came out, and all spare parts that were mailed to the correct address, so why did the people at the warehouse go to the wrong address. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! I was scheduled for a delivery on Saturday the 9th and the bed came with huge cuts down the headboard. They said they would redeliver Tuesday. My husband took off work, cleared our room again and was stood up. When i called they said we were not on delivery until the 23rd. I asked to speak with a manager and they never called. I called again and the store said they could deliver Saturday the 16th. I even checked the delivery details on the we site. They never called or showed up... again!! When i called they had me down for a random week day. Then we were told the bed wasn’t even in stock by a customer service department lead. We called the store and they said we didn’t answer the phone.. we called the delivery manager and she said it was a system issue and corporate didn’t confirm the order.. ARE YOU JOKING ME?? 3 days of missing work and 3 times i had to clear out my room and no one knows what going on... THE WORST COMPANY and THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!

So I figured I'd wait til after we got our sectional the second time around before I wrote my review. First off, everything seemed fine. The rep helping us out basically sold us on the fact that the sectional AS A WHOLE was so cheap. About $1500 with 45% off. We ended up paying a little more than $1000 for the whole thing after tax and insurance were included. Great deal, right? Too good to be true? Absolutely. So cut to a few days before the couch would be arriving: we got rid of our old couch and were set. On the day of arrival, the time frame we had was 1:30-5:30 which in my opinion is a pretty crappy time. We couldn't choose which time of the day (morning, noon, or night) they chose the time depending on the route. My boyfriend had to work and I got a last minute audition at 5. Wouldn't have been a huge deal. The movers came right on schedule, however, the sectional was all wrong. We actually didn't even get a sectional. . . we got just the couch portion and it was facing the wrong way. The guy wanted me to sign for it. Of course I didn't because it was all wrong. This is where it really gets awful. He called dispatch and they claimed I only ordered 1 piece. I'm thinking, "why the heck would I order half a couch? It's missing an entire side. " If I wanted just the couch, I would've ordered just a couch not half of a couch. Anyway, fast forward, they took the couch back. I called customer service and they were the absolute worst. Don't keep telling me what I ordered when it isn't what I ordered! I finally managed to get a hold of the actual store. BTW if you call the number of the actual store, it redirects you to their general call center and be prepared to be on hold for at least 10-15 minutes. Once I contacted them, the person that sold us the sectional was always "busy" and couldn't talk to us about our purchase. The manager on duty at the time was also "busy" trying to figure out what went wrong. I'll tell you what went wrong: your salesperson, Patricia (yes, that's her name for anyone looking to purchase a sectional), must've realized she only sold us the couch portion and instead of telling us she messed up and the sectional is actually 2 separate prices (btw, the prices are located on the back of the sign where the sales price is) she just sent it off and figured we would just buy the other piece later. FYI, we still would've bought the sectional even if you called us back and told you made a mistake! We fell in love with it! I'm sitting on it now, it's great. The people that moved my couch in and set it up for me were great. The manager was ok except he didn't really sympathize with us. We still had to pay for the piece that was missing, which I honestly feel you shouldn't have to pay for someone else's mistake, but whatever. He offered a $100 gift card for the trouble even though he should've just taken the $100 off the price of the sectional. And guess what? After we left the store, we realized he never gave us the gift card! If my boyfriend hadn't reminded me that we were never gonna shop there again, I would've gone back inside to grab that stupid gift card! We finally got our couch 2 weeks later after having literally nothing to sit on except a couple of office chairs. After talking to others about this, I found out I'm not the only one who has had bad experiences with Ashley furniture. What a joke! This is why they give such huge discounts and really try to sell you on them making their own furniture, because everything else sucks! Hope this helps. Btw, I'm giving it 2 stars because the movers were great.

I've been looking for furniture for about 3 months. I've been in and out of literally EVERY store looking for a sofa. Finally today with the help of Jacob at this location was amazing! Selecting, purchasing and communication was amazing. I told him what I wanted and he found it and made the transaction amazing. Good deals and great service, happy shopping experience. Thank you!!
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!!! They scammed my 74 yr old mother into buying protection plan and applying for financing. . . my mom went in to look for a couch and mattress. When she left she had a bill of $1200. They took $400 cash and financed her for the rest. When she got home and showed me the invoice I realized nothing was as advertised in store or online. I also noticed a protection plan. My mother is limited in her understanding of English so when I showed her all the papers and explained to her, she was furious!!! I went in and no one would help us. There were other people complaining of the same thing, one being exact situation with her senior citizen mother. I've been trying to get a hold of upper management for the last month but no one will call back or respond to my emails. I'm in the process of hiring a lawyer. Ik there're others out there with the same issue. Message me if interested in pursuing this with me.
BED BUG INFESTATION! Ashley's states that it's not their fault that in order to receive a refund I had to notify them within 72 hours. I'm sorry, the bugs were in the wood! They are everywhere, in the mattress, the wood, the frame, etc. I didn't notice at first and thought I was having an allergic reaction to food. Until I saw them crawling on me at night. We took the bed apart around fumigate it and noticed them crawling out of the nooks and crannies of the wood. I am absolutely disgusted with this. Yet they still refuse to give me money back. They want to send out a tech to take a look at it. Take the damn bed. I don't want it. Take your bugs and give me my money.
Really disappointed right now. I only gave two stars because the sales rep at the store was very helpful. We were coming home to double check measurements when I realized I needed the measurement on a couch as I forgot to write it down. I called the number on the card provided, it was to corporate, there's no way to call the store directly. Waited on hold for 10 minutes then hung up, called back waiting for 13 minutes, when the operator answered she couldn't hear me and hung up the phone. After reading another similar review I realize this is how they run shop. Very concerning. What if something was wrong with my purchase or I needed customer care after a purchase or needed to deal with them for warranty??? Needless to say we wasted our time on the sale floor and will not purchase anything from there EVER. Customer care is very important, especially with larger purchases and apparently that is not something this company is big on.
AMAZING LOCATION! I am so glad I purchased at Canoga Park... i had went to burbank and didnt fully commit so when I went to canoga park, I was sold!!! Make sure to ask for David! he helped me and He was extremely knowledgable and went above and beyond for me. i picked out the perfect furniture for my new condo. I was a little hesitant but he helped ensure me that it was a good choice, and I am so glad he did!!! I always get compliments when people come to my house. Thank you David!! I will definitely come back closer to my due date to buy new furniture from you for the babys room!! Thank u!!!!
I'm not going to take a lot of time to explain. I'm not posting to be vindictive to the store. My intent is to warn you. I assure you, you will regret buying anything from this store. Chelsea (and her crew) will lie to for the sale and bale on you once you are out the door. This was validated from their own corporate headquarters. After several days and a few calls to corporate they finally sent someone to repair the damage they did to my furniture while loading it. They were clearly ignoring me after promising to come repair it. They were hoping I would just go away. The repair looks worse and now I wish they never touched it. By the way, they had one old guy loading the furniture and he had no sense of being careful. This is a very poorly run store. Save yourself! Too bad they don't have a negative star rating to bring their rating down to where it belongs.
I usually don't leave a feedback but I have to do this so may be they fix the rudeness in this store! They deserve no star! I took a shopping cart that was left outside the store but the person greeting people almost jumped on me saying I have to take it out myself because it is not their shopping cart. I explained to them that I didn't know and the distance between furniture is so small that I couldn't! She yelled at me angrily saying you have to take it out mam! I went there and I figured out a way to take the shopping cart out from a different area while about 5 employees were laughing at me ! These employees literally enjoyed ordering me around! So sick ! They had nothing to do! Just watch people and chat! Ridiculous store! Ridiculous accents! Would never go back there!

I sat in hold for 11 minutes with the Woodland Hills store only to find out I have to talk to corporate and that was another 15 minutes on hold to find out that they are not going to help anyone because they already made the sale and they don't care.Also FYI, don't let the "no finance charge" fool you, they have much higher prices for their inferior product than other furniture stores.
BUYER BEWARE! If you are thinking about buying a mattress from Ashley, please know they do not care about they're customers comfort & satisfaction what so ever only about making the sale. Last week we purchased a $3k brick from them and they refuse to exchange or do anything about our situation. I have never had so many body aches and pains from a bed in my life. We waited years to make such a huge mattress purchase only to have the worst experience and a total wast of money. Please save yourself the trouble and go with any number of different stores and companies that actually care about their customers being satisfied with their mattress.

I wish there were ZERO stars! The employee who helped me with my purchase was amazing! I actually went back twice (total of five hours) before finally choosing the sofa and loveseat. My issue is with their delivery process. I Sunday scheduled, had asked twice for a morning, but was given 2:15 to 6:15 window. At noon, I was called - the delivery was cancelled because one of the delivery people was injured. And they could not replace him. They could delivery on Monday. I cannot take a day off work for a delivery and asked if they delivery in the evening. I was told yes, after 6:00. I asked for either Tuesday or Thursday, was told Tuesday was available and I would get a confirmation call later that day or Monday. No call came. On Monday, I called the Canoga Park store, was put on hold for 45 minutes. A woman came on the line and asked how could I be helped. I responded that I had been on hold for 45 minutes and wanted to confirm Tuesday delivery at 6:00. I was told, Yes, you are confirmed for Tuesday at 6:00. I asked again, and was told again, 6:00 Tuesday. At noon on Tuesday, I received a call from dispatcher that delivery was at my gate, wanting to deliver the furniture. I said again that I was told Tuesday at 6:00 and was now informed that only mattresses were delivered in the evening. At 7:30 I was in the store to talk to the manager. I told her all of the above, adding that I wish I had written down the name of the woman I had spoken to about the evening delivery. She happened to be sitting at the desk and acknowledged it was her who I had spoken to but that she never said 6:00 delivery. I actually called her a LIAR, that I wouldn't be standing there if it weren't true and called her a LIAR again. Manager was of NO HELP when I asked for CANCELLATION AND refund. I was told the furniture was still on the truck and I would have to come back the next day for the refund or I could call and it would take up to 3 days for the refund to be processed. Thank goodness I changed the pick-up date for donating my old furniture!!! DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!!!!

I wish I could give zero stars to this place. All they care about here is making the sale. I ordered a living room and a dining room set from this place and there were issues with every delivery. Also when the items arrived two of he chairs were damaged. Also they brought the wrong piece for the living room. They tell you to call a number but no one is there to answer. Finally after being on hold for 45 min someone opened a case to exchange the damaged items. They have wasted so much of my time and there is no way I will spend another dime at this place. Fix your customer service.

We bought a mattress from them and they delivered it the same day. We bought most of our furniture from Ashley Furniture. They are amazing! Thanks for being so accommodating.

SUPER expensive Furnitures, Low Quality and Rude Employees Including the manager, I got a Problems Buying a Matress with a Sales person That Promise me A Frame but When The delivery Guys where here they Didn't Have it, Then I called The store No one Wanted to help me But Finally after a Week they give me the Frame . Now the same Matress that I Paid $1,600. 00 Is Sinking or is deeping I called The warranty and now they are Saying That is a Body Impression and the matress needs To Be 1 1/2 inches deep To be Cover Under the warranty But When You buy It they don't explain That to You , the Reason I spend That kind of Money is To Prevent or Avoid any Of This Problems In The future, I Will never Buy Anything in This Store or Recommend it to Anybody.
This 5 stars goes to Chelsea Franco the store manager, I didn't receive my furniture yet but, Chelsea amazed me with her great personality, she is calm, patient and professional in what she do, I was about to return my whole dining set that I purchased a day before, but she is the reason I kept the purchase, she understand very well what dose customer service mean and worked patiently with me, people like Chelsea with great management skills is a great asset for any successful business. Thank you Chelsea you are beyond amazing. Now I can't wait for my new dining set to arrive .
What a fantastic store they have in Canoga Park, CA! The day before, I had a horrible experience in the Northridge, CA store thanks to a rude salesperson named Donna D. who literally told me she was too busy to text me after having literally provided me with her business card and cell number and telling me to contact her any time. Anyhow, the Canoga Park, CA store was awesome. They even had great music playing outside their door. I danced my way into the store to meet with Gaston H. Everyone was smiling and in a great mood. Gaston was amazing and made me feel like the most important person in the whole store. I had spoken to him on the phone prior and he was equally amazing!! I was delighted with my entire experience and cannot wait for my new furniture to arrive!!
We have bought our entire home furniture from Ashley's. I bought a couch a couple of weeks ago and was very unhappy with the purchase. I loved it when I saw it and it was comfortable when I sat on it at the store before buying it. Couch was Delivered to my house but after sitting on it for more than 30 minutes it became VERY uncomfortable to the point where my back hurt. My husband and son complained about the couch as well so it's not just me. I went to this store where I purchased it after 2 days of delivery and was treated very poorly by a sales women. When I told her why I was there she told me the store manager wasn't there. Once I actually found the store manager i explained to her that we were very unhappy with the product. She was not willing to work with me at all in exchanging it for something else I had found. I even called corporate and they were not willing to do anything either. I will NEVER shop at Ashley's again! I will take my business to living spaces or somewhere else. Very bad customer service considering how many thousands of dollars we've spent there.

Horrible experience stay away!!!! Where do I start they charged us almost 2500 for a living room set that wasn't built properly and they brought us the wrong couch and said it's going to be difficult if we didn't refuse it the same day. No return policy, no customer service even when I was saying gonna buy something bigger & a bedroom set for $2000 more I just don't want the things in my house they still would not work with me at all. Was charged 25%-30% more because slimy sales people don't tell about discounts or matching online to save the customer money. Paid almost 2500 when I found it online just 1 week later for 1500 from a different company with much better customer service wish I would've gone with them but now I'm stuck with this because no return policy. . . .

If it was possible , I gave them zero star! I bought a table and paid the price in full and they were supposed to send me my order in 2 days! After 4 days and no contact I went to the store and I was told that they don’t have it available ! And I need to wait for at least 2 months! I was surprised because they didn’t even know that I haven’t received my order and after checking it online they were still so rude and gave me just the option of waiting for 2 months or refund my money and no apology! There was an Armenien girl over there ( Angine or Ani) who talked to me in a way I’m the person who owed them something and she was whispering in their managers ears don’t give them any discount because the table was in sale! Finally after 45 days our apartment business office called us that we have a package from 30 days ago and if it’s not ours they can send it back to the address on the box! We went there snd we saw our table in business office! A very heavy package that we had to carry it to our apartment! They didn’t even contact us to let us know they brought the table! I was thinking what happened if it was damaged or broken?! Did they accept that after 45 days?! Pooooooooor customer service. Rude staffs. Poor quality. Never ever go again!
HORRIBLE SERVICE I ORDERED A SOFA AND IT STILL HASNT COME IT HAS BEEN MORE THEN A MONTH!!!! Chelsea the salesperson kept on saying that it would come an that it would just take a little longer but what she said was false i had to keep on calling everyday and it still hasn't come!!! they had the nerve to tell me that it would take a whole other week for the sofa to come. I was out of town for a week and they told me that they could only come to bring it that week but i had no person to leave the key with. I am very disappointed in the woman who sold me this sofa chelsea and apparently she has been "busy" and cannot return my calls. I am so angry with the service here and would not even get them one star

A good place to get your furniture. They have something for everyones liking. Be it a dinning set, living room set, or something for your bedroom. They also have some good discounts from time to time. They also offer great financing options for your purchases. These people like to lie and trick you. I went in the other day to get a bedroom set and everything went well until I noticed I started signing papers for renting/leasing furniture. I still signed because supposedly it will be mine if I pay a certain amount in a certain amount of time. I should have left when I noticed that red flag. They told me I would receive it on a certain day. The day comes and I receive no call or any information of what was going with my furniture. I called and was told to wait. Still nothing. I called again and was told the shipment was delayed and that I should have received a call saying it was delayed or if something happened to my furniture. Which I did not. They give me another date for when the furniture will arrive and this time I did get a call and the furniture. A spring box is missing (I needed two since I got a king size mattress) I had to go to the store to tell them what was going on and of course I give them a chance to fix it and I get a spring box the following two days. Yesterday I had just opened the box for the lamps and one was broken. I couldn’t believe it. I had already gave them so much chances and went in the store probably a total of 4 or 5 times. I went in the store today to get a new one and they were willing to send me new lamps. I also haven’t received an item that is supposedly coming through ups which is separate from the furniture so I waited. I asked about that too and they kept postponing the answer to give to me and would tell me that they need to fix the other problem first. I was told I would receive a call today on the update of my stuff and when I would be getting it. I never get a call so I just called right before they're closing and the lady tells me that she’s trying to help me and that she will call me when she gets an update which can be later or tomorrow or in two days. I asked her why would she tell me that I would receive a call today if she doesn’t know forsure? Instead of me looking forward to a call today. Or she should have called me (because she said she would) to let me know there is no update and she will get back to me when there is an update. Also she decides to get mad at me when I do have a reason to be upset. She should be UNDERSTANDING. Why can’t she put herself in my shoes. I gave them too many chances already. There’s too many problems with this store and I just want my stuff and in proper condition. I’m giving them my money like they don’t understand. I wish I never came to this store or went to a different Ashley furniture. I’m wondering if I should return the items now and if all this hassle is really worth it. Hopefully they don’t mess up this time again
My experience dealing with this store has been a complete NIGHTMARE. Our "brand-new" couch was delivered with a torn seat cushion. After notifying the store that we would like a new cushion delivered, our salesman insisted that instead a repairman would come and sew the cushion within a few days. We went back and forth on this for a few minutes, but after insisting 4x that we wanted a new cushion he finally gave in on a new cushion. It was frustrating dealing with a salesman who sells the world out of his store's products and brand, only to deal with second-hand, pushy salesmanship and customer service shortly thereafter. However, it doesn't stop there. Our new cushion was set to be delivered within a few days. It wasn't. Instead, a repairman showed up to our home and asked to take pictures of the couch (we had already sent pictures to our salesman, the store, and the warehouse that handles deliveries). The repairman also came unprepared to fix the cushion, which begs the question, "Why would he even show up or set foot into our home if he didn't have the proper tools to fix the couch?" After this puzzling experience, I called the store to figure out when our new cushion would arrive. I called twice and each time I was asked to hold because the employee was with a customer. I held on the line for 20+ minutes for each call before deciding to physically go into the store to get some answers. Upon arrival, I was sent to their customer service department where I and a customer service rep spent over an hour trying to track down the order for my new seat cushion. At times it sounded like no order was ever placed. What really frustrated me is that during my interaction with the customer service rep, phone calls were taken. This seemed COMPLETELY HYPOCRITICAL after being put on hold twice the day before. The customer service rep and I were also rudely interrupted 3 other times by fellow Ashley store employees who wanted help with other customers' orders. No apologies, no shame, no time taken to think about the customer service experience occurring directly in front of them. To wrap this up, I believe this kind of treatment stems down from the management team at the store. Throughout this entire experience, I have not once been able to reach a manager over the phone or in-person at the store, nor have I been contacted by a manager to apologize for such an embarrassing display of operational dysfunction or customer service. It is now a month since my purchase, I am without a new seat cushion. I hope this appalling service is limited to this store; however, for me, this experience is bad enough to ensure I never shop at any Ashley Homestore again. Thanks for reading and letting me share my story. I hope this helps raise this store's abysmal standards into mediocrity. I think asking for excellence is too big of an ask at this point.

I would advise you to NEVER work here. The Manager Anna Frankle that goes by Chelsea is a horrible manager. She is back stabbing and is only concerned with her climb to a corporate level. They seal your accounts from you and make them house accounts, not paying you on them. They have a horrible time giving you the right amount owed to you on a paycheck. There HR department has phone numbers that hang up on you and you cannot leave messages on. The favoritism is just horrific that goes on in this store so if your not one of the chosen ones, don't except to make any money. (You will not). Not all Ashley store are alike, the Oxnard store manager seems quite fare. The Hunting beach store is horrible as well. Serious back stabbing going on. Here is another factor they hire so many sales people at minimum wage like 24 per store sometimes you only 4-6 times with a customers to make money in an 8 hour day. Your have to make $1100. 00 a week to get 3% commision on the first tier Ashley makes sure that never happens by rearranging your shipping dates constantly!!!! That way you only get paid minimum wage over and over. (Clearly not enough to live on). Please don't work for this company it's awful!!!
Buyers beware! This place is a total scam and rip off. What I purchased and what they delivered were totally different and did I also mention all scratched up? When I called the store and the customer service line nobody was able to help me and all they mentioned was that it was all sales final. I highly recommend purchasing furniture from Wayfare as they have so much better customer service. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do not shop here at any cost! You will regret it.

The customers service desk was terrible. A husky female assistant was just sitting on the desk not being attentive. Finally got her attention and she immediately call the manager the second I said cancel an order. So now I was waiting for 5 mins just for the manager to look at my paperwork. I dont understand why the assistant didnt take initiative and look at my paperwork. Either they are not training their associates properly or they are not hiring suitable candidates for their positions. Regardless of my outcomes or business I am still a customer who should be treated the same way like all the other people who gave this location a good rating.

I love this store! My go to furniture store! Quality pieces worth investing for plus they always give me amazing deals! Shahe’ is really great and helped me tremendously! This is the worst Ashley store in entire Los angles, I have shopped from various Ashley store in Culver City, porter ranch but this is the worst of the lot. All because of one of manager. First of all they messed my order and when I asked them about it instead of apologizing the manager was rude inconsiderate. No wonder Ashley stores are closing if they hire manager like this. I will never buy again from this store ever. The manager their is worst she does not how to talk to customers.

My experience with Shahe and Silva was overall great. Shahe was very helpful throughout the process of buying my new mattress and couch. He helped me get a good price and worked within my budget. My only negative experience was before I stepped into the store because I called to inquire about a sale flyer I saw and was placed on a 10 min hold because the rep on the phone didn’t know of the sale and had to keep asking other people to find out what I was talking about.

My partner and I have been shopping awhile for power reclining chairs. Last minute, we decided, instead, to go with a leather power sofa at another store. However, we were not completely happy with the quality, function, and preferred a fabric sofa. So we went online and found Ashley Homestore. I noticed that Ashley‘s Canoga Park location has a good rating, so we rushed over one hour before closing. When arriving, we were impressed with the quality and large selection of sofas and other furnishings. Most importantly, we were very happy with the wonderful service provided by their sales representative Peter and manager Chelsea Franco. They were both very patient, never made us feel rushed, and helped us find exactly what we wanted and needed while processing our final purchase of the sofa and a Persian rug over a half hour after closing. In addition, we were surprised and thrilled that we just made it the last hour of the Fourth of July sale. So we also got a great deal! I highly recommend the Ashley Homestore in Canoga Park and will continue to make it my first stop when shopping for all of my home furnishings.

They fooled you by trying to get you the best deal, when I got to store I shared with my budget to sale representative, he got the manager involve, they pretend to get me the best deal, at the end i paid $600 over my budget, thinking they included one of the pieces I wanted originally, when the delivery arrived the item was not included. So I paid $600 more for less items of the original package.

I was in need of all new furniture to furnish my home. I live in Woodland Hills and was happy to see that Ashley had opened up a new store right by the Topanga Mall. In the past I would have to travel some distance to buy furniture and those stores always had a very limited selection. This Ashley store is really big and all the furniture is really very nice and there was so much of a selection from beds and mattresses to dining room tables and couches and so on that I actually had a hard time choosing. The staff is very nice and courteous and I was fortunate to meet Ahmad who was great! He was very knowledgeable and listened thoroughly to what I needed and mind you I needed everything. He took so much time with me, making sure we tried everything and found what I liked and what worked for me. Everything looks really good in my new place and the quality of the furniture is outstanding!

On 6/19/19 I drove to the store out of curiosity not expecting to buy anything. I was originally planning to purchase a couch and loveseat set that was advertised on their website for 500 dollars. While browsing inside the store I noticed they had the same set in the store. Somehow I ended up leaving with a $1,700 bill having purchased one of their 14 piece sets of a totally different couch and loveseat, bed frame, and box spring. It all sounded like such a great deal until the next day when I looked at the receipt and saw each item itemized. I felt like I was duped by a car salesman. I won't say his name because he was a nice guy. Looking at each item I realized none of it was worth what I was charged so I decided to go back to my original plan and purchase the two pieces that I really wanted which should have come out to about $500 + $140 delivery fee. I called the 1-800 customer service number that was on my receipt and basically got an automated system that put me on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever came to the phone so I hung up. I was so frustrated thinking would I ever want to deal with this company again when I can't even get someone to answer the phone within 30 minutes? Delivery was scheduled for 6/25 even though I made it clear that I wasn't moving until 7/1. I guess they would have delivered it to someone else. I decided to cancel the order for a complete refund mainly because no one works at their 800 number call center. I now know you should call the actual store for customer service and they will answer. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 1 is because when I went into the store for the refund Griselda helped me with no issues and promptly gave me my entire credit. I also purchased a plate set which was on clearance. Enza helped me with the plate purchase. I prefer to deal with employees like Griselda and Enza because they don't behave like hungry salesmen. They help you purchase what you want, not what fills their pockets. These two are the reason I may visit the store again.

My wife and I were in need of dinning and living room sets. Peter greated us and allowed us to walk the showroom at our own pace. As soon as we had some questions he was readily available we didn't have to go hunting him or any other associate down. Peter helped us out with all questions and worked diligently with us building a personalized packet for our dinning and living room set. Silva helped us get the best deal possible. Both Silva and Peter worked the numbers and made sure we saved as much as possible. We never felt harassed nore ignored. They even found a night stand from our old bed room set that we were missing which we purchased from Ashley Furniture years ago. If you are looking for any furniture definitely recommend this Ashley location and ask for Peter or Silva.
Enza and Sylva are hands down the most amazing individuals that I’ve ever worked with! Weird vibe here. Went during a big sale and was excited everything was 50% off. Then. . . Luigi. . . he seemed so nice greeting us as we came in. Asking if we needed anything. Then he continued to creepily follow us around the store. It because a game like where's Waldo. Any item I barely glanced at he'd pop up out of nowhere selling us on it or asking if we'd like to add it to our order. . . Not sure if he was just really eager to make a commission or thought we were going to steal something?? He momentarily disappeared, only for us to over hear him completely tearing apart one of his female co-workers cussing her out. Once he saw us he flashed a fake creepy smile like all was well. At that point we decided to leave because things were getting too weird. Low and behold he followed us all the way to the exit. Probably not coming back.

First time here. It's an amazing building with an amazing selection. We came in and were immediately greeted by Allen , he was friendly and so informative. He showed us exactly what we were looking for. I made the mistake of coming in on the day he wasn't working and our order got a little screwed up but we came in the same day and there was Allen ready and willing to help us right away. This review is based on there credit account services and not this particular store. I received a credit card/account from their retail bank. I did not use so it was in excellent standing for a year. Then I was notified by one of my credit bureaus that my account has been closed. I didn't understand why until I read "closed for inactivity". Ok I kinda understand that but I was not notified ahead of this action by their bank. No email, No letter, No nothing! I called their customer representatives(somewhere in India) they told me they did send a letter but it must've been lost in the mail. WTF? They said oh it can't be reinstated either. I would have to apply again. I said "F" that! I'm not getting an unnecessary credit inquiry on my credit record just because of your ineptness and incompetency. Well they lost a future potential customer and I will be buying my furniture elsewhere.
My friend told me about her experience at a different Ashley Furniture . . . she warned me not to deal with them. Of course We did. We found the perfect Couch/Chair. The Sales-guy was great! We bought the Couch/Chair "spill" protection, and the replacement warranty. No interest for X months and delivery. As the date of delivery approached, my work schedule changed. After being on hold forever I changed the delivery date for TWO days later. Didn't hear from them the day before with time window. Called the delivery warehouse. First, they couldn't find it. Then they found it. But the Couch/Chair was not in stock. Wait!!!!! How's that possible?? You were all set to deliver it Two days earlier. We went by the store. They called about delivery. It was not in stock. The lame answer we got is they probably delivered my Couch/Chair to someone else who bought the same Couch/Chair. Why? They then told me that maybe I should consider looking and picking a different Couch/Chair. Is this a bait and switch?? Get me to buy a more expensive Couch/Chair? I canceled the order. The next morning they called to set up delivery of my Couch/Chair. What a Miracle!! They found it. Just too late. . . I moved on. . . my friend was after-all. . . . . . . . . correct.
Worst customer service ever. Got a dresser from them, got assured by sales person that it can be delivered after 3pm. When I actually got the message about my upcoming delivery they gave me the window between 11-12 instead. Tried to resolve the issue, all they could do is deliver item when it's convenient for them. Store manager suppose to call me but I haven't receive any call. Horrible experience, never deal with them again!!!!
Beware, we just bought a new Dining room set from Ashley Home Store in September of 2018, Today we noticed lumps on the table top of the ( supposebly wood table ) and called the store to see about them replacing the table. They said it was good we called within one year . They gave us a case number and said they would get back to us. What would they have done if I had called in November ?? I guess I would have had to purchase a new table from someone, NOT them that's for sure. . . We spent 1700. 00 for the set and this is what we get after seven month's. . .
We walked in for the first time at Ashley Furniture and right away was greeted by this joyful soul from Texas, LD. From the beginning he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. So not only was he friendly he was polite. Thanks for your awesome kindness. Keep letting your light shine.
Absolutely the worst customer experience I've ever had. Withdrew money from my account from a transaction that was supposed to be voided. I called multiple times to get the problem resolved. I was told the issue was being corrected and that i would get a call back. I NEVER got a call back. When I went to the the store my original salesperson acted like he didn't know who I was. I was told by another rep that corporate handles refunds and was given the phone number for corporate. When I called corporate they told me they don't handle refunds and to go back to the store. It took longer than a week to get the refund processed. I literally had to go sit with the employee to make sure the refund was processed. I recommend everyone to stay away from this store! Me or anyone else I know will never buy from Ashley HomeStore again!

My husband and I had a great experience with this company. We were here a few weeks ago and Aisha was awesome. I usually hate walking into these furniture stores because you get followed the entire time like a car salesman; Aisha was different. She was welcoming, relatable, and relaxed. We found a bed frame that my husband and I both really liked that didn't feel or look cheap. There happened to be a huge sale the weekend we were there which was awesome. We had everything delivered within 3 days by Danny. He gave us a time window of the delivery as well as a stop number which also came with GPS tracking. This was extremely helpful since I was out of town and my husband had to work that day. Couldn't have been less stressful!
My brother, boyfriend, and I went into Ashely's a couple of days ago for a new bed and Elmer helped us. He's super cool, extremely knowledgeable and polite as hell. The visit was delightful and he hooked us up with a dope bed. It finally arrived at my house today and I feel so blessed :) thank you Elmer and the entire staff you all rock keep up the good attitude
Buyers BEWARE!!!! Couch smells like chemicals & my skin developed a rash after the first day!!! I immediately called to tell them & drove over there for them to tell me "all sales are final, nothing we can do" their furniture is poor quality and way over priced!! Take your money elsewhere! I called customer service and they told me a technician would have to come look at the couch and that this would be "the start" of any possible exchange or return. This was a whole week ago & Ashley never called to follow up with me. I waited for 45 minutes to speak with a customer service representative yesterday & today, for them to tell me there is nothing can do. Very disappointed, was going to buy my whole bedroom set from them along with a dining room set. I will never do business with Ashley HomeStore ever again in my life. I am telling all of my friends and family about this and warning everyone to stay away from them! Scam.

Great experience and great customer service. We got our dining set, sofa set and our beds from Ashly. When you go to Ashly definitely ask for Ani. She helped us with everything, she was so nice and friendly, she spent a lot of time helping us to find what we wanted. The manager Chelsea, she had an amazing personality and she helped us a lot as well.
I only gave them a 2nd chance because my family and I wanted to do something special for my moms 80th birthday Well, thank God it all worked out. . . . just had one issue with a lamp shade. If you ever refuse furniture or have any problems forget about it. They don't know how to do paper work correctly and you have to dispute everything with them. . . the customer service not consistent and takes months to get things straightened out. So we flipped the bed over since there is no top or bottom thinking that could help. We are still pretty annoyed we had to do it so soon. Once we brought our new born home we realized how loud our bed really was and the frame would wake up her anytime we moved. So we removed the frame thinking that would help but it's still made a ton of noise. Anyways March 2nd we go to the location we bought our bed from and I bother the office manager with my concern. She seemed completely annoyed that interrupted her conversation with the lady standing there. The office manager didnt seem to care that furniture they sold me a bed that is giving me the worst nights of sleep. She told me I'll send it the warranty team & they'll let us know if there is anything that can be done about it. That is not very comforting. Asked more information on these details. She acted as if she could care less and would give the most vague answers. I asked to speak to her manager and low and behold she is standing right there this whole time listening to how unsatisfied I am and listening to how rude her office manager is and she didnt do damn thing about it. As a manager myself I can't not respect that kind of work ethic. Anyways I spoke to Chelsea thinking she would actually say anything different than the office manager. But she said I could call corporate and complain because there is nothing she can do for me at the store level. I Ask to speak to her manager I wasnt gonna complain about her lack of customer service but then she demanded I give her a reason and really didn't really feel like explaining all of this to someone who really couldn't do anything about it. So I just told I wanted to Express to her manager about her excellent customer skills. She put me on hold for ten minutes. She got Earian R on the phone I explained most of this to her. She told me that trina did not put the order claim in until March 10th so I am still confused to why it still took her team to call me 7days later. I really dont know why you tell people 72hrs. We bought a new bed less than 6 months ago and from the first week it started to make some noise. We finally got annoyed and decided to remove the frame. That helped but then the mattress itself started to cave and make lots of noise getting on and off the bed. We decided to head to the store in Canoga where we purchased it and let them know our concerns . They said they have to make a claim to warranty and will make the claim for us as we speak. We were told they will contact us in 24-72 hours. It took 10 days and no call so my wife called the warranty department and were told no one made a claim . So here we are talking to Trina and she said she will do it and we should hear from them within 48 hours . They called us back like a week later on a weekend. Now we asked to speak to corporate and they refuse to give us a number because it's a personal phone. We want to talk to someone so she said she will have them call us in 24-72 hours. At this point we feel like they are giving us the go around and we will never be able to speak to corporate. This is horrible business, customer service, products and unprofessional. We are waiting to see what they will do to make it right otherwise we will have to take other actions.

DONT shop here, it's NOT worth the hassle! I purchased a mattress and bed frame on Feb 9th and I still don't have my bed frame. They have attempted to deliver FOUR times and each time the delivery guys say something in one of the boxes is damaged. One of those times they showed up after inspecting in the warehouse and had parts for two different beds. It's ridiculous. Every time the deliver guys come they're here an hour to end up telling me it's damaged and leave a mess in my apartment. They leave pieces of tape and the box filler all over the floor. I cannot believe a furniture company cannot deliver a bed frame without issues. I now have the FIFTH delivery attempt scheduled for the end of the month so hopefully the 5th times the charm.... I also don't understand how they don't keep sufficient stock in their warehouse and leave customers waiting over a MONTH after purchase for their furniture. I could go on and on about this horrible experience but lesson learned I will never shop at Ashley's again and suggest you don't as well.

I ordered this on Black Friday and got it delivered on December 9th. Upon delivery of this sofa the delivery guys damaged the apartment stairs and other places. I have filed claim with AshleyHomes since December and they have denied the claim now stating they did not damage it. This was my first transaction with this company and because of this terrible service my mother is now facing a $1200 charge from the landlord and other negative issues. The neighbors and I saw the damages being done infront of our eyes and have provided all the photos and everything to their department but they are denying everything. Because of this one transaction with this company my mom is facing this charge and possibly legal actions from the landlord. My mother is disabled and do not have that $1200 to pay the landlord for the damages that this company has caused. She only had that little money to buy this furniture on Black Friday but this company is basically ruining her living situation.
Somi the sales lady is super helpful here at Ashley of Canoga Park, Chelsea the store manager was super nice, if you’re going to shop in this store I suggest you ask for these 2 ladies to work with you and help you with your purchase as they’re super helpful and their positive and upbit attitude makes you feel right giving your business to them, I stopped shopping around once i met them, they truly made me feel right about my purchase, kudos to their upper management for having these 2 ladies working here

I walked in to Ashely’s store I was happily greeted by Patty she asked what can she help with and I told her I was looking for a sofa bed, she took me to see the ones on display and explained to me abt the 50% discount and I ended up getting it for my son. It’s a shame that Ashley’s furniture has such nice furniture because the experience that I’ve had with a $9000 order has been a nightmare. 3 months later and I still have an incomplete bed. Delivery dates changing without being informed. Items being delivered and not set up, just dropped on the front door. The complete list of problems would take me quit some time to write. Customer service has been absolutely awful with no help to our situation. Definitely will be looking elsewhere for our next big order.

Went in today with a group of clients that have special needs....they had to pick out a desk and pick their favorite Bedroom set. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY an Ashley’s brand mattress. I am on my 3rd mattress in the matter of 4 months. They will not give me back my money after all this. I can not believe what I have had to go through with multiple visits and this is still not resolved. I do not want an even exchange just my money back to shop somewhere else. BEWARE of sneaky tactics, they tried to charge me twice for the Delievery of the new mattress after it was deemed defective. No class sales worse than a used car lot BEWARE!!! I was dealing with the sales manager Nathan he promised me the world and I couldn’t leave at least with my dignity and my money back.

I shopped at the Woodland Hills Ashley Furniture Home Store and Angineh Pilosian helped me locate the perfect wall mirror for my home. She was very patient and showed me some different mirrors which would all have been fine for my home. As we looked at the different options available, she helped me narrow down the choices to three beautiful mirrors and then I decided on one of them. She stayed with me all during this process while I was making my final decision and she never rushed me. In fact, I found her to be very patient and professional. She made this shopping experience very pleasant for me and I am certain I will love the mirror. This is the second purchase I have made at an Ashley store and now I am certain that Ashley’s will be my first choice for furniture and home accessories in the future.

I'm giving this overall experience a 4 out of 5 stars but Rachel Domiguez, the sale associate who patiently helped me out, gets all 5 stars. I walked in on Super Bowl Sunday, ready to furnish my bedroom and getting a sofa for my living room. I had some ideas in my head of what I wanted and Rachel was extremely helpful with bringing those ideas to life. I never once felt pressured to buy, she never once tried to up-sell me and I totally appreciate that. She helped me measure things and answered all my questions. I ended up buying a bedroom set and a small sofa that all fit perfectly inside my house now. As for the 1 missing star in this review, the Ashley system still had my old address as a shipping address. Even though Rachel made the correction and even helped me get the delivery day I preferred! However, on the day of the delivery, I got a call that the deliverers went to the old address! And, they were unable to change their route so I'd have to wait another 2 days for my new furniture when I already made arrangements for the new stuff. It was a huge inconvenience. I called Rachel and she offered me a $100 gift card as compensation which was totally unexpected and SO appreciated. Overall, 5 stars for Rachel Dominguez; 4 stars for the delivery process. I would definitely shop at Ashley again, especially since I have a $100 credit!
If my sister didn't like like the bed that she is getting. . . . I would have walked the F out of this place. Noah was the rudest sales person ever. When my sister and I were calculating prices on our phones, he had the nerve to tell us we were wasting his time by not looking at his screen and that he was trying to help us but we had to listen to him. Who the heck does he think he is. . . we are giving you a sale and you are getting my sisters money not the other way around. He also told and my sister that we were millennials cause we where compare prices to other stores. I'm almost 60 years old. So should I have been flattered or pissed. First and last time in the Woodland Hills store. If I could have convened my sister we would have left after I had a few choice words. So bottom line. . . . if you come here AVOID NOAH. . . unless you do things his way My sister finally bought the bed with Sara and she is a sweetheart. If you go there ask for her. She knows how to give good customer service and gives you a chance to think about what is best for you and not the sale.
Our visit tonight started off with trepidation -- we had visited the store a week earlier, and we were put off by the lack of customer service, and the attitude of the Sales Rep that we encountered. . . we had sworn never to step foot in the store again, but then we got the circular for the President's Day sale, and we figured that the Universe was trying to tell us something. . . and we're so glad that we listened!! Our visit tonight was completely on the opposite end of the spectrum from our previous visit!! From the moment we walked through the door, and met Rachel Dominguez, we knew we were in good hands! We did our homework, and came armed with [3] different designs that we wanted to see up close and personal. . . Not only did Rachel help us research and see our selections 'hands on', but she patiently took us around the store, answered our questions and concerns, provided us with information that we wouldn't have had access to otherwise. . . truly, a stellar shopping experience! She was there when we needed her, but there was no pressure or pushing to buy anything -- she gave us space when we needed it, and support and guidance when we needed that. And the entire time we were with her, we felt that her focus was solely on us. . . nothing distracted her, or took her away from us while we were shopping. She purported herself with grace, dignity, and flair, while being gracious, attentive, and a whole lot of fun to be around to boot. If we had a question she couldn't answer, she found the answer for us. But at the core of our shopping experience, was the feeling that she truly cared about us finding pieces that fit. . . with our decor, and our personalities. She helped us to approach the entire shopping experience from a unique, and beneficial perspective, which brought a multi-faceted, and highly informed decision making process into play for us. We walked away from the experience on a high; it was an extremely pleasant shopping experience, we felt like we got a great deal, and we felt like we just went shopping with a friend. If you visit this location, heed this bit of advice -- go straight for the best, and ask for Rachel at the front desk. . . if she's busy, WAIT FOR HER. You won't be disappointed. We weren't. . . if I could give our experience more than 5 stars, I would!
Entered the store and Rachel Dominguez greeted and welcomed my fiancé and I with a big smile. She made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. She priced matched the price we saw online without any hesitation. She answered all our questions and explained the furniture warranty and delivery. We purchased a sofa and oversize recliner on Sunday. When we went to schedule the delivery the recliner was available to be delivered before the sofa. I just could not wait to get the recliner so we scheduled the delivery for Thursday (Valentines Day). We were told we would get a call the day before delivery to confirm. We never received the call so I called into the store to confirm delivery. Come to find out they had rescheduled the delivery for Monday without contacting me to confirm. I had already scheduled my old furniture's removal so there was no way I could wait until Monday. I kept being told there was nothing they could do because there were no open spots for delivery. When I asked to speak to a manger Lee came on the line. Lee promised to check into it and call me back. Of course I was worried I was just being blown off because it was close to closing time now. But I was so wrong! Lee scheduled an emergency delivery for our original delivery date and called us back to confirm. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOW THRU! Thank you Lee, because of you I am sitting in my amazing oversize recliner writing this review!
My dad sister and i went there for sofa set for our new home. Rachel Dominguez came out to help us with her beautiful smile . She is extremely helpful. She helped us to find a perfect sofa set. She has a very good knowledge too. I highly recommend Rachel , go to there store and ask for her to help you.
Went to Ashley's on Victory Blvd yesterday (02.07.19), and the service is awful..the ladies ( all three), looked at me as if i came from another planet ..no greeting , customer service is terrible..will never go there again!!
Beware of their pricing (this happened to me 3 times w 3 different salespersons, so I guess this is how they train them to work). As u start browsing someone comes to help, super friendly and helpful. Then they offer you their own discount, and make it sound like a real bargain (which felt really nice when on different occasions they offered me between 30 to 50 percent off their marked prices). They keep going back to their "manager" or whoever and work out a "deal" for you (It's their game, which is so dishonest and creepy). So I'm lucky that before committing to these great deals, I went on their website and looked at their prices. The MARKED prices on their website we either equal to or less than the crazy DEALS I was offered in their store. In addition, I found a mom and pop store in Tarzana that has access to the same inventory for a lower price, and 1/3 of what Ashley charges for shipping. Bad bad way of doing business. Hope others don't get suckered into these fake deals.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop here. I had a horrible experience and urge people to consider shopping elsewhere. Every day they are having a "50% off sale" that is how they got me. I Went in July and was helped by a man named Frank who was charming, but since I was undecisive I went back a few times. This is how I found out that the sales reps say every day, "Today's the last day of the 50% off sale. " I eventually placed my order and Frank did tell me that once the furniture gets delivered make sure you absolutely love it because you will not be able to return it. Unfortunately for me when it was delivered it didn't fit well at my place, so I tried to move it around and the delivery man was not willing to wait. He then stated that he can leave it and once I'm ready to decide he can come back if I want to return it. I called the delivery service number maybe an hour later and was told that the delivery man lied and was not going to be able to go back and pick up the furniture. After numerous calls to the store and to the 800 # the store manager agreed to pick up the furniture however only to exchange for equal or higher amount. Once I picked the new furniture pieces it was supposedly equal price to the old pieces which I thought was super suspect since it was a random amount. Whatever I left that alone and was just happy to be able to get an exchange. My original order was in July it took almost 2 months to get the replacement since I didn't get my delivery until the end of September. Now as far as the other issue, I purchased the protection plan along with my furniture but somehow, it didn't show on the second order on their system. I spoke with Kristin and she claimed that it should all be included with the original invoice number. Obviously the protection company-GBS doesn't have the same system, so they need proof of that. I asked Kristin if we can do a conference call with GBS and she said, "I prefer not too" but she agreed to email them the invoice knowingly it doesn't reflect the new pieces of furniture. Kristin is clearly incompetent and didn't even care to follow up. After many more calls and waiting on hold I spoke with Trina who was able to understand the invoice issue and send me all the invoices needed to forward to GBS. What I learned is Ashely Furniture is happy to help to get a sell and thereafter the customer service experience goes downhill which is disappointing because I will never shop there nor recommend anyone too. *Getting any follow up was frustrating hence the multiple calls and the store never answers their phone calls.
I have been waiting in this store for 45 min for the district manager. Tried walking around and got approached with Rachel who refused to tell me her name until I asked an associate. I tried walking a few steps away and she approached me telling me I am disturbing the peace. I want corporate to check the cameras and fire her. First of all she has no authority as a sales person to escort anyone out per her own manager Laigh (Lee), she refused to give me her name after several times of asking her, she had no name tag, and there is nowhere in the store that says customer waiting area. The associates in this store are not the nicest. I don't recommend Ashley Furniture because I have not been able to use mine for seven months since I bought over $5000 items. Buy elsewhere. JUNK FURNITURE They are a joke.
NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE, NO SERVICE Terrible store, Terrible quality, Too Expensive for the junk they sell. I purchased ALL of our furniture st this Ashley location. Our issues start from delivery of mismatched sectional which took the two weeks to replace because they regused to take the mismatched sectional back in the first place. We have had the couch for 5 months and its hard cushions are becoming very soft and deformed. The cocktail table is miss colored and missing paint in many areas. Our dining table and 8 chairs have issues too. The dining table has a chip that is painter over and it looks ugly as if I picked it up in the corner of the street. The 8 chairs have been unprofessionally put together and screws have been becoming loos and so damaging the legs because they no longer sit together properly and tight. All chairs wiggle. Ashley Furniture has tried numeriouse times to fix it but failed. According to one of their technicians their furniture is not the quality they claim to be. I have not been able to use my dining table and chairs other than placing some decorative items on the table because of the lack of safety of the chairs. Two of the chairs the last technician put aside and he said because of the material of the legs whatever we do this will keep happening. Our bed frame and matress also had issues. When we tested the matress in the store it was firm and we asked if the matress that we recieve will be same quality and we were told yes. The second week of sleeping on the matress, the matress was too soft and I called them to change it. I was told I have to sleep on it for a month for the matress to adjust. So We slept on it another two werks and I called and complained again because nothing had changed. The complaint has now gone to upper management in Ashley Furniture's vustomer Service and I am told they will do NOTHING about this regardless of my continues complaints. Even technician came and saw and measured the mattress. This mattress is almost folding and we have not been using it since and have been sleeping on the floor. The bed also had several issues. We noticed too much squicky noise and felt like the bed is going to break. We take the matress and the boxes out to find out that the technicians did NOT care to put the bed together properly. The area where the leggs and the flat boards were, had loos screws and hinges, and one was completely missing a screw. The sides that attach to the head board and the other front board were completely loose and NOT tight. The techs had not used the original parts and had damaged my bed. After 5 months of complaining and having the bank contact them they agreed to do an even exchange however they arrived with broken side legs and never told us and used the old legs thinking we are stupid. Our bed still makes noises and since the matress is defective we are not using the bedroom for sleeping. 6-7 technicians have come to fix the issues and have not been successful. The company refuses to change our mattress to a firm mattress which we expected to get in the first place. 6 months has passed and I am yet to seat and enjoy my furniture. I will never shop from Ashley Furniture ever again. I got ripped off. They told me I am getting wood but I think it is pressed material. Recently they attempted two deliveries and both times after 7 months of complaining they bring damaged chairs and table and still waiting for mattress. Also found out the business at this address is not licensed to sell furniture. I was in the store called consumer protection licensing and they could not find a License. The Manager had nothing to say but presenting a sale permit and telling me it is license. I want my money back and their furniture out of my home. Today was 1/28/2019 my purchase was 06/10/2018. Do the math of how many days i have not used my furniture.

As an update to this incident, a big thank you to Rachel who is a member of the sales team at this Canoga Park location. After seeing my comments, she was concerned enough to reach out to us through the Yelp app and discuss what took place and more importantly, what Ashley Furniture could do to assure we were not leaving as dissatisfied customers. During our return visit, both Rachel and the acting Store Manager, Lee were very receptive to our concerns and assured our incident was not the norm. Suffice to say, everyone we spoke with at the store level was very professional and accommodating and we will again consider Ashley when we are looking for the best home furniture options.
First time I visit Ashley in Canoga it was a great experience with the help of Rachel Dominguez she gave us great deals on the stuff I was looking for and great combination on how it was going to look. I would recommend shopping at Ashley in Canoga Park with the help of Rachel Dominguez she is a great representative for Ashley Homestore.
Hadn't shopped Ashley for quite some time due to a previous bad experience, but we were looking for a chair for a section of a room and new Bob's nearby did not have anything to suit our taste. Found something that we liked, and the store was willing to do price matching after I found the same item on Amazon. On to delivering, which is where things go downhill. Policy is that you HAVE to pay delivery charges as there are no options to pickup unless you're willing to drive to Colton. Delivery day was scheduled, and Ashley does have a very good tracking tool. Ours was to be a morning delivery and all showed on time tracking, even to a point that I received a text that they were approximately 15 minutes away, keeping in mind that my wife planned her availability. One and one-half hour later, no show no call WTF, up to me to track down. I called the dispatch number, first person I spoke with advised they would contact the driver for an ETA, and call me back. Of course no callback for another hour, so on the phone again. This time, the truth comes out, truck left the warehouse in the morning leaving our piece behind. Tried to get an explanation as to why we were not contacted so as not to be sitting around waiting for a delivery truck that was never going to arrive, but only got apologies and that things happen. The dispatch teamed seemed willing to help as much as possible, rescheduled for the next day and was promised twice that they would contact the local store (Canoga Park) to advise what took place and that the store manage should call back and offer some compensation for our time wasted. Chair has since been delivered, we are happy with the item, but more than a week later, still no contact from the local store. Apparently keeping a customer happy and potentially returning in the future is not on the priority list.

This is my 3rd bad experience with Ashley the one in Northridge is a nightmare once u walk in sales people are like flies around u pushing u to buy and no room to just look around alone peacefully so I though I would try the woodland hills one and it was better u have a little bit more room to walk around alone , so I met joseph he was helpful and I left and came back few days later looking for joseph since he helped me the first time he told me he has a client so I waited for him for 20 min and I started looking for him and couldn't find him so they overhead him and here he comes smells all cigarettes so he finished his customer and decide to go for a smoke while iam waiting ok fine not a big deal I bought the room I want told him wanted delivered on 1/7/19 and that day was available , so iam waiting for the phone call from them to tell me about the delivery window didn't get any call so I called the store and they tell me my order is a back order and it will not be delivered till 2/14/19 , 5 weeks later ! Seriously and you didn't know that when I ordered the room? I went back returned the room and I will close their credit card this store should be going out of business
When shopping for furniture I had in mind this Ashley Furniture Store has everything I was looking for plus more. That plus more was assistance from Rachel Dominguez. Working in the sales industry, the art of proper customer assistance is an unfortunate dying talent. Rachel was not pushy, but available for in depth assistance and information. If you go here and want the best experience, give your business to Rachel and you'll be sure to leave with the furniture pieces of your choice and an overall happy experience. Note to Management : Having Sales representatives like Rachel is what keeps me coming back to Ashley, but what had me spend today. Overall nice work!
