Rude Service at Ashley Furniture Colton I called the Colton location, hoping they could help after poor experiences at other Ashley Furniture stores. They put me on hold for five minutes, and then someone claiming to be the manager picked up. He was extremely rude, repeatedly saying, “We don’t work against other stores,” and giving me a bunch of excuses instead of any real help. I explained that I wasn’t trying to cause issues—I just wanted the deal I was promised. Even after I clarified, he was still rude and dismissive, making it clear they didn’t care about resolving my issue. If this is how they treat customers, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere for furniture.
The sales rep made us do a review While i was paying. I purchased the adjustable base plus mattress for $7,000 after I got home I checked the price on Costco for same frame and mattress and FREE delivery and it came out to $4,900. I feel extremely ripped off. Especially cause at Ashley they were initially trying to charge me $499 delivery which after discussing price they lowered it but still they try to rip off people who don’t speak up. Not fair! I will never buy from Ashley’s again. While I was making my purchase at Ashley’s I was trying to check prices online but the guy was showing me on his phone that the prices are the same everywhere I felt rushed and just gave in. I should have slept on it and did my research. I’m so mad at myself.
Here are some dark secrets about Ashley's. I worked in the call center. They literally told me to lie to people. If something wasn't delivered because Ashley's employees messing up they told me to lie to the customer. If the customer complained they told me to schedule a delivery even though Ashley's would not make that delivery date. They knew they didn't have the furniture to deliver, they just wanted to get the customer off their back. I was told to lie to everyone just to quiet them up.
Kabir was super helpful. He definitely listens and understands your needs. Highly recommend!
Great place to get a great deal on quality furniture. The main store has many things at a lower price. But the real clearanced items are in the back warehouse FYI.

We shopped with Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad during two separate visits while we were looking for a bedroom furniture set. He answered all our questions and honestly gave his recommendations. While trying different stores and salespeople, it seems like Mr. Mushtaq is one of the few good ones. He was never pushy, never judgemental, but always willing to listen to what we were looking for and see which pieces would match that idea. We even had to cancel one part of our order, and then went in-store to buy some other pieces — and he assisted with that flawlessly. The whole order will still be delivered as one! Buying new furniture can be a a headache, but Mr. Mushtaq made it seem like we were shopping with family. Next time we need furniture, Ashley Outlet Colton will be the first place we go. I’d highly recommend!

Shauna was completely unconcerned with helping me order an item or even providing assistance. Even after I informed her, the online ashley rep, as well as via email to/from their replacement parts division, had informed me it needed to be handled by a retail store. She first said it couldn't be done. Then later acknowledged that she was aware "it could be done, she IN her job capacity couldn'tdo it. It appeared to me she just didn't want to assist me.

Me n my wife are going thru one of our worst buying experiences at this place. Ashley furniture doesnt give a shit about your troubles after you buy from them.Buyers beware if your buying a matress or furniture from here, Its been going on a year or so or moreat this time that we still haven't gotten a return phone call on thier defective matress. When we initially purchased we were happy buyers got a bedroom set dinning table chairs buffet $7k+ worth at zero% was a great deal at that time 2016-2017 +/-, a few years later we purchased a mattress that was found to be defective by thier tech who came to our house and told us and documented to Ashley its self, Ashley says our people will contact you when we are going to replace the defective matress......After a month or more of sleeping on our couches and nooo contact from Ashley furniture we decide to go into the store and speak with the department manager who let us know then that we were not able to return said matress?? After all this time of waiting for a phone call, email, letter well over a month now at that time. We had already purchased a mattress and w folding base for the same amount of Ashleys 1-matress we couldnt sleep on the couches anymore at Living Spaces Since Ashley's dropped the ball I will never buy a Fkn thing from Ashley's furniture I dont care what deals they have All thier stuff isnt perfect either. Its as though because they know we bought else where they are forcing us to stay with said matress and force us to have to do business with them like we're hostages. They want to give us store credit that we dont need or switch. And still no contact from them but a bill for defective shit thats still sitting against the wall in my living room what a fuckin sight during family gatherings, Thanksgiving and Christmas.Since Ashley clearly doesnt care about us they have lost our patronage.

Today we came in to purchase a new mattress for me and my partner. Although we left with more than we went in for, we received exceptional service from Francisco and Les. Les greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and helped us with all the back and forth me and my boyfriend went through. I think we got killer deals (even though I paid twice as much as I was hoping for). I felt very well taken cared of by Les because he showed me all my options ranging from less than I wanted to spend to over what I wanted to spend. I would be back to this location and if you're here ask for Les and have Francisco help you out!

I was avoiding Ashely because I heard it was expensive but when I went there I found that the prices vary and the quality of the furniture is amazing. The sales person, Ashraf, who helped us was amazing and very patient and professional. He answered all my questions and helped me with selecting what I need it while keeping me in the budget that I wanted. I really recommend you to go check out the store. Update:Unfortunately the company pushed back our order twice and was not going to have it to us until well into the new year so we had to cancel our order. Nothing was offered to assist and no time line was available and they said it could be pushed again.We ended up going to Jerome's in Ontario and got our couch delivered 2 days after we went in.Our sales rep James was amazing!He gave us our space while still staying close if we had any questions. Never felt like we were having to run away from him. He was never pushy but still made sure we had all of the information needed.Definitely recommend you ask for James when you go into this store!!This stores size is also amazing!! So many different products to look at and choose from!Great price on a great quality of sofa!Only complaint is that I wish shipping wasn't so far out but that's not always something that can be controlled!

Here's an update on my review for this sadly overrated furniture store, they delivered my daughters bed finally she paid for them to haul away her old bed, and they said they can't take it because it's not wrapped in plastic who wraps their old bed in plastic and why didn't they tell her when we bought the beds that you need to wrap your old bed in plastic in order for us to take it away so now they keep the money for the haul away but they never took her bed so it's our problem now it's just looking like no stars for these people and they we're rude and asked if they have to put together the frame excuse me. Yes, you're getting paid for that too? never again at that place!!!
We were helped by Patty. She made our experience one of the best we've had at a furniture store. We were looking for a bed and mattress. We went with a Stern mattress and a beautiful frame that fit our needs. Patty was patient and made sure we would have a mattress that would support us for a good value.

I went to Ashley for a dining table and was greeted and helped by Pattie who provided great customer service she was very professional, polite, and made the whole experience very good.
We purchased a dining room table and an entertainment center from Ashley's. When the table was delivered the corner of the table was chipped and pushed in. The entertainment center top piece was cracked upon delivery. We informed the store as soon as we received them. We have been given the run around when trying to get this taken care of. It's been four days and the only thing they have done is send a person out to take pictures of the product even though we sent picture just like they requested. I will definitely never purchase anything else from them.

There has been issues we have called a few times. Went into the store a few times.The Manager was suppose to call us back after leaving messages at the store more than onceobviously, they don't care about Customers after getting their money. We have shopped and bought at Ashley's a few times. This time spending$12,000. We will think twice if we need something else anytime soon!!

My wife and I went to Ashley Furniture in Colton, and we were lucky enough to get PK as our sales person. PK WAS AWESOME! He showed us around and answered any questions we had, BUT... He answered our questions in a patient and caring way. He never showed signs of getting frustrated, or angry, even though we were there with him for a couple of hours. We finally thought we found the perfect couches, but found out later that the set we chose was not so perfect. We reached out to PK asking for his help, and once again, he was professional and respectful. He never sounded frustrated, or showed on his face that he was irritated with us. He said he was a consumer too, and that he understood. With PK's help, we finally found the right sofa and love seat combo for our home, and PK made it a very pleasant experience. If you go to the Colton Ashley Furniture store, you have to seek out PK, for the best customer service in the company. Thank you again PK. You are awesome!
Service was quick and helpful, and outlet prices were great (as long as you can pick it up yourself) . However I was just browsing and was not certain the loveseat would fit. The salesperson strongly recommended I purchase the loveseat to ensure its availability, then cancel before its delivered for a full refund. She ensured there would be no penalty or fees. She also asked if I planned on using a credit card, because then for sure I can get a refund. I didn't think much of that comment because I trusted the store to issue a refund. That was 7 weeks ago. The credit card company has notified me twice that they haven't heard from them. I contacted them this week and opened a case, was told I'll hear back in 24-48 hours. It's been 3 days. Granted, it's only been 72 hours since I called, but I've spent more time trying to get my money credited than selecting the loveseat. Upon leaving I was again strongly recommended to leave a Yelp review several times. So here I am. I had a gut feeling that I shouldn't have trusted the salesperson, but I didn't think why I shouldn't trust a large store like Ashley's. I guess people need to make commissions somehow.
I am HEATED!! I’ve been trying to call Ashley for weeks and so has THEIR customer service department with no answers. I spent ALOT of money when I bought almost a whole house of furniture. My king size bed frame (slates) are falling apart and warped. Even missing some of the middle support legs. My mattress is ruined and caving in on some areas (the springs). Been having back pain the last couple months and now seeing a ortho doc for the issue. I contacted my sales person today and told him I can’t get a hold of the store and neither can his customer service people. Told him what’s going on. He told me “I should have bought some kind of bunkie board for the slates to support the mattress. I was NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS AT TIME OF PURCHASE. I bought this set because it didn’t need a box spring and was going to “SAVE” me money”. I’m going in person tomorrow after work to raise hell. THIS IS BULL HOW CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED AND PHONES NOT BEING ANSWERED BY THEIR OWN COMPANY DEPARTMENTS. photos to follow for proof.

Got all my furniture from Ashley’s in montclair and the gentleman who helped us was the best part of it not even my furniture was the best part we felt like we knew him for a long time his name is Leonard Webster. He deserves a raise or manager position this man should have his own store.
I fully expect to be pleased with the chair I purchased, but am VERY disappointed about the customer service. No issues in store but I had a question about my order and tried for 2 days to contact the store and couldn't get through. Even their Customer Service center couldn't get through to my local store for me--and they tried! No one picks up the phone! I'm hoping it will all work out but I'd be hard pressed to want to do business with them again. On the bright side, I dealt with two sales people before purchasing (Erum and Chris) and they were fine. I just wish I could have been able to contact the store as I stated.

I love this place. They have thee BEST deals. Jackie is amazing. Don't get me wrong Tommy and Krista are good but Jackie is the hardest working employee. Anytime you see her she's walking around helping customers, help load items into the car and even pulling stock. I don't know how she does it. BIG SHOUT OUT!!!

Never new Ashley’s had an outlet store, we went to home store they told us about the outlet store next door amazing prices great customer service friendly and a pretty good selection of items. They even help you load your purchase making it easy and comfortable. We will be back soon for the rest of our home

Just had my life made easier because of my visit today at Ashley furniture. I recently went thru a stressful move and needed new furniture. My sales associate Rawya Salibi greeted us with a big smile and kindness. She was attentive but gave my family and I space to talk! That was refreshing and relaxing. When we were ready to buy it was quick and super easy. The manger Connie was also amazing and made me feel like a person and not just another sale. What a great experience and my family will be buying from Ashley for a long time to come.
My experience with Ashley and Mr. Ed Alhelo has been wonderful he connected my order with Hyam Zarka’s order that was placed for me the day before for an on time delivery to Big Bear Lake for all of my furniture needs. Very comfortable and welcoming environment and atmosphere.
To make this short, DO NOT buy from this cheap furniture store & if you do, do not buy their lifetime guarantee insurance. It’s a scam. I’ve bought several times from Ashley’s furniture. So I am saying this from experience.
As soon as we walked in I was greeted by Rafael. They had a nice selection of furniture. Rafael assisted us and made the whole process easy. This is not the bed I got but this is the only picture I took there.
We went to check out beds. From the moment we walked in the door a salesman was on our heels. He indicated that he was supposed to be with us the whole time. Like our personal assistant. That is the very LAST thing we needed. The first bed he insisted on showing us cost $10,000. He absolutely would not leave us alone. The whole experience made me want to run out of the store. My husband fortunately is calmer, and we managed to stay for about 30 mins. At one point the salesman actually told us that he could not discount the bed (which we did not ask for) and offered us a free dining table! The pressure was so high. My husband and I had about 4 mins alone to discuss the options and the salesman was back. It was the most uncomfortable sales experience of our lives. We left and made a purchase at another retailer who was the total opposite in sales technique.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Ashley Furniture and was quite pleased with their employee discount program. Being an employee of another company that has a partnership with Ashley Furniture, I was able to take advantage of their great deals. The discounts were impressive and made furniture shopping a much more affordable experience. However, I must say that my visit to their store left a bitter taste in my mouth due to the poor customer service I experienced, particularly in the loading area. I had purchased a large item and it was my expectation that the loading process would be quick and efficient. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. The employee responsible for loading the items seemed more interested in talking and laughing with his colleagues rather than doing his job. It was incredibly frustrating to watch them waste time and neglect their responsibilities while I stood there, waiting for over 30 minutes. I understand that employees need to enjoy their work environment and have some time for socializing, but it should never come at the expense of providing efficient and prompt service to customers. As a customer, it is disheartening to witness such lack of professionalism and dedication. Overall, while Ashley Furniture may offer great deals for employees, the poor customer service I experienced, particularly in the loading area, overshadowed the positive aspects of my visit. It is my hope that Ashley Furniture management addresses these issues promptly and ensures that all employees are focused on fulfilling their job responsibilities efficiently, while providing exceptional customer service.

Good prices but poor customer service. The sales person in store was so busy juggling customers that she was impatient with any questions I had. Then when the table and chairs were delivered, one of the seats was damaged. They sent a "tech" out to look at the damaged chair and we were told we would a replacement seat in two weeks. One month later, customer service says they will be shipping the part on April 22nd. On May 9th, the customer service person - who I am pretty sure I woke up from a nap - says it is shipping June 6th. There has been no follow up, no communication, no replacement seat, and customer service is barely interested in helping.
I want to say I had a great experience choosing my furniture but overall with the great help from Les!! Thank you for your assistance!!!
Decent prices, OK, selection, delivery was a bit of a hassle, overall just an average experience.Recently ordered a piece of furniture from Ashley's and was routed to the store for delivery. The delivery yet experience was not good. I got a date first but no time. Then the day before I was given a time but no choices. The window was 5 hours long on a weekday when everyone is working. The delivery driver just showed up with no warning or courtesy call. I told them I can be there in 30min and was told they can only give 15min for waiting. Wow, seriously. I had to call and wait another week to have it redelivered because that's their delivery timeframe. Seriously bad!

We will return to Patricia when the furniture arrives and we determine what else is needed. Customer service was very helpful in making sure contact re: delivery would be by text. Located on Ashley Way. Plenty of parking available.We wanted to browse around to see what kind of selection they had and their prices. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and was told that this store is the largest one. We were amazed at the size of the store. There was definitely a large selection to chose from.My family and I found a lot that we liked and will come back to purchase them after we're done comparing prices.However, I'm a bit apprehensive at the recent reviews which makes me wonder if I should buy from here.

There are so many sales people its unnerving. DEFINITELY on commission. Which is normal ,I understand. BUT to have more commission sales people than customers at 11 am on a Saturday smacks of desperation. You should have the theme from "JAWS" playing. The sales people are all polite professional and clean , for the most part. You get my point...moving on , to the furniture That is some of the cheapest junk Ive ever seen , and I am not talking prices . 98 percent of the dressers , end tables , etc are press board with pvc vinyl sticker finishes. Its the same garbage you can buy at big lots ....CHEAPER !! SAME exact furniture! If you sold higher quality furniture you wouldn't need so many sales people. GOOD quality , sturdy furniture sales itself. I cant see that furniture lasting more than 3 years. Which , is how its probably designed and engineered , to be, short lasting disposable furniture. I get it . Sorry for sounding negative. Thats why I left you 5 stars so it wouldn't affect your over all rating . Like I said, sales people were friendly and polite ..... but TOO MANY !!!

l regret shopping for my bedroom set here. The wood is absolutely horrible quality, even though they have you upgrade to a more expensive set. My items arrived damaged, and my king-size bed bottom wood that holds the mattress broke. They send a " repair " person, but they only cover up the damage with spray can paint. They only give limited warranty. Please go elsewhere !

Worst customer service ever. Bed frame smells of chemicals that give us headaches. And still has the chemical smell, won’t go away. 3 people have told us we can return for a refund. And ever time we go they come up with an excuse. Have given me 3 different case numbers for a return and no manager is ever ”available“ the worker that’s helped us have been so rude disrespectful. Just started giving attitude talking over us. Throwing back our paperwork and wouldn’t even give us a valid explanation. No customer courtesy

Went yesterday morning to purchase my son's bedroom set. I got there 5 min late for pick up, I was calling and calling just to make them aware I was coming because I rented a Uhaul. The OFFICE PEOPLE (Customer Service) TERRIBLE, never answered any calls. I was so disappointed they don't care about their costumers. The Tall Caucasian guy in charge of the warehouse, was the worst. The 5 stars are for the sales guy John, so helpful and tried his best to help me.
I always have a lot of questions and feel annoying when I am shopping with a salesman, but Jennifer Lopez was very patient and answered all of my questions! She helped me every step of the way and even got me a great deal!

Very poor delivery timing. Delayed for a week to deliver a mattress while the entire bed is occupied by their bed set (They promised to deliver both at the same time)!!! Think before shopping, not recommended!
This was an absolute nightmare of an experience. Purchased a sectional and two days later, they delivered a left side chaise, and a right side chaise. The delivery guys treated us awful and told us the item we purchased will not fit anyway. Now I’m having to call around to speak to somebody about a new delivery date and time as they expect me to be home whenever they decide to come. Absolutely unprofessional. Do not buy from here. False advertisement from the start.

Smh.. I thought they were the number one leading furniture store. Bout a loft bed for my daughter & I was under the impression that it was gonna be delivered 3 months ago but nothing has happened. Nobody knows anything about my order. Yet they still have it in display in the show room selling it to other people when they can't even get mebthebone I bought. I feel like I got got robbed with out a gun.
Once again for the 5th time my delivery has been delayed. Been waiting for almost about a month now I'm starting to doubt that they are the number one furniture company. I should've just went to mors or even rent a center won't even let me get the one on display. Theybshod just take it down and stop selling it to customers
Horrible experience here. I came about 30 min before closing time so I understand maybe they were trying to hurry up and rush me out of there but at first the lady that helped us seemed nice but all we came for initially was a bed frame and she speed walked throughout the whole store we had like 30 seconds of looking time to look at all the bed frames and sofas and things like that because she kept bouncing around it was hard to keep up with her or even really take it in and see what we liked . We came here excited and by the end of it exhausted from all the pressuring of things we did not come for or need ! She wouldnt even explain features etc on things just here take a look and then go to a different product. She assumed because we said oh this is nice she started adding everything to a cart she created for us without going over ANY PRICING, until the very end. They really just care about your money. No friendly customer service. At the end she came up with an outstanding price and it included a bed frame we liked like 5 bedframes ago , we had liked other ones more than that one but she didnt care to stop and go over pricing for it so i didnt even really know what bed frame she had in our cart ! And i felt as though if i asked her which one that was again she would be annoyed, and would be a bother for her to go show us. Didnt even bother to ask our budget until the very end and when we said we were looking to spend less than 3k she said oh yeah no thats not going to happen. In the end after saying we would have to think about it she basically just said oh okay bye no friendly see you next time or no worries have a good night. Literally you could tell she was mad for us "wasting her time" , since we didn't buy from their store.
The Colton outlet internet hours are wrong. Its only open from 11-6 everyday. Not 10-8, not 8-6. ELEVEN 11- SIX 6. They wont update the hours so i came here to tell yall who check the internet.

There is one star because conveniently there is no star rating .... bought 6 chairs in early January with a tentative delivery of 4 to 6 weeks, that quickly turned into back order excuses and a delivery for April 22nd. Then a call with a delivery date of April 9th, 2 days before the 9th is a nevermind now is May 18. Went to store to see if they could explain what all is going on, spoke with customer service manager and he was rude, condescending and absolutely useless, he did not know a thing, every answer was "I don't know" So I asked for someone who knew something, his supervisor or manager ... needless to say no solution or answer was given and we still have no idea when our purchase will be delivered Don't buy here if is not in stock because they don't know ....
Terrible customer service no one ever answers the phone when you call your 87th in line most of the time to even have someone answer your call you need to leave a voicemail to have them call you back. Call backs are never returned on time!
Wish i can give zero stars. I have been a customer of ashley for many years most of my purchases at this particular store and never been treated so badly as this time. My wife and i walked in on 2/13/22 to purchase a bed and matress for our son. First salesmen rick went to take a lunch break while helping us, he never returned. Next they send pedro didnt help either he literally just said to get something or leave. Weve been at ghe store an hr mostly waiting on a salesperson we already knew what we wanted. We talked to manager and said sorry and walked away they just lost a customer.

Today we had our best furniture buying experience ever! We were helped by Jayson House. He went above and beyond any salesman i have ever been helped by and I shop alot! We needed bedroom furniture on the next 10 days. He walked around the store checking each bedroom set i liked to see if we could get it in time. I found one I liked.. then realized...we had the date wrong! Ye had to start over with us!!! He was so friendly and nice finding us something that I actually like even more and will be here in 8 days. Thank you for going out of your way to give us a great experience Jayson! We bought a bedroom set over a month ago. Had defects , they sent out a tech that was sick with a cough. He assured us a part for one of the defects would be ordered and should be fixed the filling week. The furniture had bad nicks , they keep sending out defective replacements. This is a place I will never do business with again, customer service is not very good to work with. We are senior citizens and every penny counts , to poor quality furniture is sad. Not to mention we have to move our mattress/ furniture hoping this delivery will be a good one. Please spend your money elsewhere.

If I could give a zero, I would. They are in no hurry to deliver your items once they have your money. Paid cash for our living room set, it was supposed to be delivered within a month. Gave me a delivery date, and the day before I had not heard from them so I called, they said they didn't have the delivery date in their system and it would another two months. Fine, I wanted to be patient. They called and gave me a delivery date, they called 48 hours to confirm, I confirmed and asked what the delivery timeframe is and they said someone would call within 24 hours with the timeframe. 4pm comes the day before the delivery date and no call, so I call, they said that because I didn't confirm (WHAT?! I spoke with someone!!!) that it was moved to another two months!!!! Customer service was of zero help. I'm now going to the store demanding a refund!
Bought a 6 drawer dresser for my daughter picked it up brought it home and it was damaged. Called twice so far and they just hang up. If you plan to buy something from them and you choose to pick it up open it up there to make sure it's not damaged
It’s a shame that we can spend $2,000 on a bed frame and be treated this way. This frame is cheap and the slates that hold our bed do not hold my wife and I up as we move around on the bed. We were denied an even exchange. So for the next five years we are going to be making claims that the slates are garbage. Ashley’s is trash.
Customer service is almost impossible to contact. I was finally able to get through one day to have a piece of furniture replaced or foxed (an end table). The guy came out to look at the end table and said we would need a whole nee end table and that someone would call with further info. Never got a call. I tried calling customer service again, but couldnt get through. We have had issues with the furniture delivered. Some pieces were broken and It sounded exhausting having to try to call customer service to have fixed. Customer service is trash! The employees at the colton store lack professionalism! I will never buy my furniture here again. And I actually warn friends and family before they even mention shopping here. Dont waste your time.

We let the customer service rep know that we wanted to return it to purchase an even bigger bed. Everything was still in box, literally nothing was touched. Well they made us wait almost a week later just so the store manager can call us and say it was denied and we would have to still pay for the original bed. I explained to him that when we bought the bed we were told they accepted returns. Well we were lied to. Store manager didn't help at all. He said there was no one else I could talk to above him. Absolutely no help! Never going back and will definitely tell all my friends and family to stay away from this fraudulent place. You might as well buy from OfferUp or swap meet if you won't be able to make returns or get any customer support. Terrible!!!

Prices in store are outrageous compared to their own website. The sales person I worked with was nknowledgeable, couldn't even tell me the details I later found directly on the table printout.
Horrible experience so far! I purchased a sofa bed about 2 month ago. I have not gotten a call that my item is in store. I keep calling the store, and I get no answere. It rings and rings. I called customer service and they said they couldn't help me, and that I had to contact the store. I'm going to have to drive to the store now and yell at them!!

However my order placed an charges were for delivery an set up, we did not realize until later that day these idiots did not put together completely an trying to get thru to someone has not been easy. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere!! This place is fake with their customer service. They delivered my furniture damaged and the delivery guys said they will take pictures of it and Ashley's will contact us for a replacement... they never did and upon me calling several times to their store and leaving several voicemails, no help or follow up was returned. You basically will be put on hold for hours and they will just hang up on you after all that waiting. If they deliver anything damage to you, tell them to take it back otherwise your stuck with it. I brought a 8 piece whole bedroom set and each had some form of defects on it. On one of the nightstand you can see that they tried to cover up the dent with paint. It's not hard to miss since it's right in front of the nightstand. Also did I mention that I bought insurance on the furniture and when I called, they simply told me that it's Ashley's problem and that I had to go through Ashley to get it resolved..this is the worst and last experience I will ever have at Ashley's!! Beware of this place!!
Please see the pictures!! They gave me a damaged furniture and when I tried to exchange it or get a refund they gave me the run around, kept me on hold for an hour and didn’t resolve the issue. I know some woodwork so I was able to fix it myself. I won’t buy anything from this people ever again!!
This store and management team is an absolute disgrace to this Brand. Every time you visit this store to get some help, every single employee is on their cell phone busy texting or browsing. Including their customer service agents which will never ever pick up the phone to help someone on the phone. Instead of answering phones, they are also on their cell phones. They always have more employees in their store than customers yet all useless. Customer service is a big issue at this location and their entire management team should be fired. Pathetic to see this every time. Hire some competent people please.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I bought a couch and TV stand from Ashley furniture a month ago to be delivered on a certain date. They call me the morning of, their truck broke down and they needed to reschedule to deliver the following day. No problem. Following day ensues, they deliver to a completely wrong address. I call to try and get them to deliver it to the right address on the same day, they wouldn't. Now I have no idea when I'll be getting my furniture that has already been PAID FOR. Customer service is horrible. Stay away from this chain.
Customer service is terrible. Bought some bar stools and asked the salesperson to update our contact information. He said he did but they called a number to schedule delivery that we never answer. When we finally got the message the delivery had been postponed for a week. We called and again updated or contact info and once again the same thing happened. Now it's been more than 2 weeks from date of purchase and we have to wait another week. If Ashley can't hire people that can do simple tasks on a computer can we really trust them to build quality furniture?Last time setting foot in one of their stores.
BEWARE customers and shoppers sales associate Celine Montalvo along with management are giving false delivery dates (3 days) so we (customers) will make the purchase in my case $6,099.42 and lie directly to your face and tell you delivery date will be 3rd day when actually the date on paperwork gives the correct delivery date a few weeks after purchase date and NOT the 3rd date that they will continously assure that delivery date will be changed on paper work to 3rd day from purchase!! Do not make purchase if they are telling you 3rd day delivery and are practicing giving potential customers wrong delivery dates just to make the sale and take your money. Beware this store is practicing and trained to lie to customers so they can make sales and make sure delivery date they tell you before purchase is the same as paperwork says. I will make sure this store is exposed for the scamming of customers and trained to lie in order to make the sales!! DO NOT fall for different delivery date other then the date on actual invoice. Once 3rd date comes and your waiting for a delivery that actually isn't really comming.. I reached out to sales rep Celine M. After changing her story and saying she told management and I can go in at her start time and inquire then. 5 mins later after I figured out what had happened I reached sales rep. Celine M when she stated to me that she can't go in and all the sudden had a family emergency . She called out sick once she found out I was going back to store and apparently couldn't face me (customer) for giving me lies to take my money and make sale. My girlfriend says she will be going to buy furniture from same sales rep and same store so stay tuned for update. Look at pictures that show evidence of there sales techniques of telling customer exactly what they want to hear to make sale.
Bought a sectional in March... still waiting. They didn't even let me know it was delayed. I had to call and ask about my delivery which was postponed for another month and a half.
Happy with the mattress I ordered but not happy with the customer service. I tried to return an item and they wouldn't accept it. They said they would take my old mattress back if i took the proper measurements to wrap it in plastic and they didn't take it. Tried to explain to the customer service representative multiple times and each of them would not help me and told me different things and just kept closing my case.
Be careful when you buy from this store. No room for return, even if they Deliver Poor quality I'm very dissatisfied with the quality and color consistency of the stools. The color of the floor sample is completely different from the ones I received. All four stools are not the same. One of the stools the material was dirty. Some are a darker and bulkier than the others. Just not what I expected to be. The sales associate was very helpful, however he was assisting myself and another customers. Never did he mentioned that items could not be returned, which I find that very misleading. I would have though twice on applying for credit and buying as much as I did that day. It was a rushed transaction and all documents were place in an envelope. I drove to the store on May 20, 2021 and the encounter wasn't very pleasant, the Customer Service manager was very unprofessional. I was asking for store credit, due to the experience I had with these particular stools.

And when I tried to return it, NO ONE and I mean NO ONE was able to help me. Keep in mind each store is individually OWN and the managers have the option to return or not. And after going back and forth with them on the phone and in person... I was NOT able to return the item. I even asked if I can return it for another item that fit.. and again everyone gave me the run around!! Also, ONLINE it says I can return!!! I'm gonna report this to the BBB because they are not following there guidelines!! So DO NOT buy from this store!! You will end up regretting it!!! And for the store MANAGER, I hope corporate reads this message and realize how fake your employees are!! Bunch of SHARKS!!

There is no doubt that they have good beautiful furniture that’s why I give them 2 stars but the workers and management are terrible! Don’t see no team work its very uncomfortable, if you have questions no one knows nothing, no one dares to ask a coworker or someone superior it’s really sad. We got a beautiful dining table and 4 chairs and 1 stool and when they got there they only had the table and 1 chair!!! Really!! Went to the store and they told me that I had to go pick them up my self at the pick up center. We demanded our delivery fee charge back because it was just ridiculous that we paid delivery and now we still had to drive 15 miles to pick up the rest of the order. Bad experience EVERRR!! And there’s more I just wouldn’t be finish! SAD SAD SAD

1st experience and could not be grateful enough for the amazing Staff member who helped us with our purchase. Truly went above and beyond to make sure we got the best. I truly recommend to ask for Karina, great person, very kind and super friendly. Thank me later .
We bought a set of couch's last month Sell person was great and helpful The downfall to here is the delivery and customer service department, first i was originally schedule for delivery April 28, when we purchased the set they where in stock and set for a delivery The week of the delivery they call me that one was back order and when we purchased them i made sure they where in stock to avoid this delay. Once they reschedule me for may 1, a day before i get a call that they have to reschedule me again Because due to some bs excuse of the warehouse so finally i got a date for may 3 They delivered the couch and love seat, but opening up the couch they sent over the wrong one They sent a black couch and we ordered grey Calling Ashley customer service explaining what happen. The lady still has the nerve to tell me why i didn't reject the delivery, if i knew this was gonna happen i would of and all the times they called me they never advised me to open them up and check for the correct color and model. I wasn't happy with this and calling them all they can do is wait and schedule something which they fucked up and they should be fixing this ASAPIt's a hustle to talk to a manger, they give you a round around. End of it all they want is their sale and screw over the customer with these headaches First and last time ever shopping here
The staff were wonderful and did an excellent job in helping me find exactly what I was looking for without being pushy or hurried along (I understand the sales persons make commissions so it's understandable but not comfortable). My biggest gripe was with the delivery team and the lack of professionalism when it came to delivery time. I had an estimated time of 1300-1730 for my delivery. Around approx. 1530 I did receive a call from the furniture team stating the delivery time would be between 1730-1830. The delivery did not arrive until 1955 and I did not receive a second phone call notifying me of the change in time. The delivery team was pretty rough with putting together my sectional (the corner pieces which lift the sectional). I set aside the time to wait for these people and then they were darn near two hours late from the new delivery time. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable wasting customers time this way. Other than this, most of my experience was pleasant. If you can move the furniture yourself, please do and save yourself the time and headache.
Ashley's is the absolute worst company to purchase from. The quality of furniture is disgustingly poor and custom service is terrible. They obviously don't monitor their calls. The service reps lie on the phone and have been dealing with an issue for my sofas for over a year and a half. I will never purchase from Ashley's again and will tell everyone I know no to purchase from them. I will also let my social media platforms know as well.
First time purchasing ever from Ashley as I was recommended by my father who used to work here before as he advised me of the high expectations they carry. Horrible experience never again I got rescheduled for delivery about six times. I tried to reach out to the management team to talk over the issue, but I never got a callback and The customer service team were unprofessional and not trained properly as they kept messing up my order. At One point my order was lost in the warehouse and it was nowhere to be found. I got directed to the warehouse in Colton a handful of times then I asked for a manager but the customer service team would not get me in contact with upper management. Will never purchase from here again and do not recommend at all!!
I've called a dozen times this past week just trying to get a copy of my receipt. No one picks up, and the corporate workers say they can't get through to the store either. Finally got a call back late Saturday night, saying I'd get two more calls. Never got either, the call was from a Matt with Ashley. Would not recommend purchasing anything from this location or Ashley in general due to the woeful lack of support or customer care.
I didn’t end up buying anything because they were so pushy. I was trailed around the store like I was going to shove a sofa in my back pocket and run out. It was waaaay overpriced for the quality of the product. Even with the 45% off this week. $400 for pressed wood and veneer? I can go to IKEA and at least get a solid pine dresser for half that. It’s incredibly overpriced Big Lots quality furniture. I am going to try the outlet and see if it’s any better, but I’m got getting my hopes up.
I wish I would have read the reviews about this place. First the service was TERRIBLE! I made a purchase and the sales person walked away and left me waiting. I had no idea if I was done or what was happening. Then when my product arrived, it was damaged. I called and called till someone FINALLY answered. Of course they gave me the run around. The only good thing about this place is the showroom is very nice and clean.
Hands down the best experience I have had at a furniture store. I made an appt online. When I showed up I was paired with a sales lady and Amanda. She was super helpful. She took me directly to what I was shopping for. She never pressured me to buy anything. She ended up with a nice sale, but was patient and answered all of my questions ( and I had a million!). This place is huge! It also includes a Cafe. I was able to order a delicious and fresh salad. I got to enjoy it while purchase was rang up. The other part I really liked was that all customers and staff were wearing masks.
I walked into the store and everyone was very welcoming. When I received my furniture it was damage. The delivery people refused to take it back! And told me to call the store. I been calling the store for over 5 days , I waited on hold for over 3 hours before someone picks up the phone. They only file a claim and told me I was gonna get a call in 24hr it's been 3 days and No one has bother to call me. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!! This is the last I'll ever buy here.

Worst customer service I've been messed around for 12 months until my warranty expired and they refuse to help me never again! Today o spent almost 2 hours being on hold by clearly uneducated idiots. My sofa is falling apart after 2 years
If you're thinking about buying from Ashley Furniture, don't waste your hard earned money on them. I bought over $5,000 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture and every single piece of furniture has come damaged and/or needed parts replaced. The latest debacles that I am experiencing with them is I received a damaged coffee table (shocker) from them and they sent me the wrong replacement piece which took over 2 weeks to receive. I called them to inform them of the problem in which they told me they would send me the correct replacement piece; this was 2 weeks ago. I called Ashley Furniture back today to which they informed me that the replacement piece was on back order until May, MAY!!!! No one contacted me to let me know this at all. I didn't purchase broken furniture, why should I have to wait for a replacement part?? The other debacle I am experiencing with them is I had to go back to the store after said initial purchase to do a price match because the furniture I purchased was cheaper online. The made me go back to the store to do this price match and when I check my credit card, they still charged me the higher price. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN!!! PLEASE PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY.
Attempted to purchase a large set of dining furniture in hopes of finding one available for quick delivery. Found a decent set and noticed when I got home to show the kids that the price was way higher in store than online. $4000 something in store and 3200 online. Went today to inquire and the manager was an A-hole. Disrespectful and misogynistic as he didn't even address me, the payer of the furniture, but went to my husband. He also threw my receipt to the reception after we asked for a refund. We thanked her for her professionalism despite his lack of. Gladly will spend double or triple and wait for pottery barn. At least I know their quality and customer service is better. Never will step foot into this store again.

Drive past this store as soon as you see it. Chaos inside the store with salespeople hovering over you just like urinal flies, until you actually need assistance in purchasing. Out first sales person, Pasty, was quick to introduce herself and after a brief encounter, she was off to get other people to remember her name. We were at the store in Colton during President's day sale, Our first Mistake. We made our selection of furniture, $2700 worth of items, and then no sales person available. Raquel Corona was quick to make the sale, it appears now that Commission is involved. The experience with her was just like a used car sales lot. She promised the world. She was not forthcoming with the truth. She said all of our items were available with No Backorder. She did not tell the truth. Today our furniture was supposed to delivered. We received a Partial order. The main piece of furniture, the Sofa was on backorder. We took a Day off for the delivery and waited an additional 2 hours out of the time frame that was assured to us. Very frustrating day with lost wages and writing this to inform potential furniture buyers. Go somewhere else than the Colton Store!
Never buy Furniture from Ashley. I bought a set of the dining table, 7 pieces, with protection insurance. The insurance is a scam. The warranty for the repair of 5yr furniture protection plan with the company GBS is a joke. We email them numerous time, never get a response. We have many cracks and wood separation from the dining table. The insurance plan is just more extra HUNDRED for them to make money. They will not take a phone call. Email is the way to contact them. Poor customer service. Very poor. Buy furniture from the smaller furniture store instead, you will get a better price and better service.
Worst customer service ever. Made a few purchases at the Colton location. If you try calling the store they won't pick up, and here is a picture of their customer service line. They only have one person working at customer service. Trying to cancel my orders. Ive been waiting for delivery on a purchase I made before Thanksgiving, and kept telling me I'll get them soon. I'm never going to never purchasing any other items at Ashley's, this place is a joke. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
I ordered furniture in December. They told me it would be two weeks to delivery. It is now 2/2, and they are now telling me it will be 2/20. I spoke with a manager, Catherine today because I’ve tried for a week to get hold of them by phone (what a joke). Catherine was completely unhelpful. She said she couldn’t do anything, and blamed it on Covid. Funny other companies are operating at full capacity with Covid! She offered to give me $50 off of each item and then when I told her I was going to let other customers know what had happened to me, she withdrew her the offer and told me she was going to call security. This company is not honest. We talked to three to four people who were in the store at the same time and all had complaints ranging from delivery times to guarantees on the products, after purchasing a protection plan. This company does not care about the consumer. I called multiple times and could not reach anyone in the store. When I called, I got a recording, placed on hold for 30 minutes, then I got a recording asking me how my service was??? I didn’t receive any service because no one came on the phone, and it took me directly to a survey. I told Catherine about this and she said she knew of the problem, but offered nothing. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. THEY DON’T STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SAY REGARDING DELIVERIES OR THEIR GUARANTEES. I WILL NEVER BE FOOLED AGAIN, AND WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN.
The last place I will ever perches furniture. No communication very rude people Just very bad company to do business with.
They have the worst customer service imaginable. They sold me a TV stand with fireplace and after 4 trips and 14 calls I finally was able to pick up what I had purchased nearly two months before. They even schedule me a pickup appointments on the day the warehouse was closed. Finally I have what I paid for only to find out they sold me the wrong fireplace insert! Will see what happens on visit number 5.
Thank you Ashley Furniture for helping with our order. For some people, ordering furniture may be no big deal. For others, like me, when going into a furniture store about to spend a lot of money on things that you hope you will have for many years to come, during a pandemic when you're finding out that a lot of furniture stores are out of stock and won't have anything for months, and dealing with specific deadlines and time frames for when you need the furniture, it was a little nerve wracking. I feel so lucky and blessed to have gone to Ashley and had the reps we had! Went in and looked around to get ideas, went back home and did some research online, then went back with a huuuge list of items and item numbers and descriptions to see what was available and when. We were fortunate to have met Hyam the first visit, and she was helpful while not being pushy at all. She gave us great information, answered all questions, and was super delightful. The second visit, we went straight to her for follow up and she was so helpful and answered all questions. She took time to go over each and every item on our list. We were working with a very specific timeframe and needed specific answers on some items and availability dates, and the area VP happened to be visiting that day and was nearby .... so he ended up assisting with some specifics and backed her up a little which was very nice. They interacted wonderfully and he was not too above the task to dive right in and look up item availability details with her, which was impressive. Sometimes, executive management may interact with store management in an unpleasant way in front of customers, but he did not. He was polite to her and very helpful to us. They both were Class A professionals. They took the time to go over every single item on our list and even helped us figure out pick up dates, go over alternate scenarios and alternate furniture pieces, to make sure we were happy and got what we needed. I was so impressed at the fact that after everything was confirmed, Hyam even called to follow up and make sure that everything was taken care of with the pick up. Wow! They did not just make a sale and then forget about us, no way ..... they made a sale and genuinely took interest in seeing it through and making sure everything turned out OK. Right now with the pandemic, furniture orders and manufacturing is one of the big things that are back ordered and people are having a lot of issues with this stuff. I am very impressed that we were able to get furniture we wanted, and the couple of pieces that we did want that were not available for months because of backlogs, well they ended up helping us find equal to or even better pieces than what we found on our own in the first place at comparable prices. Thank you again Ashley Furniture Colton! Executive management actually cares about the company and cares about the customers (thank you to the VP)!!! And Hyam cares that you are happy with your purchases! Ask for Hyam! Thank you!

I'm glad I came back to the store to cancel my order. My advice, shop online. They charge unnecessary fees and after you purchased something, don't expect to get a service from them. They only want your money and move on.
We’ve just been burned for the third scheduled delivery in a row. I took the day off & simply got stood up. Not even a phone call this time. Worst hustle ever & by a retailer. We’ve waited three + months for our furniture. Believe these clowns at your own peril...
So I’m in my 3rd round of being told my chairs will be available. I purchased November 29, was told I could pick up December 3rd, then the 15th. On the 15 th after waiting an hour, getting to the dock, waiting another hour, I’m told sorry your order isn’t here. They get the manager who says I’ll get them the 23rd no matter what... today I call both corporate and local, and get told sorry no chance it’s not January 3rd.. after complaining they say ok well we can get them December 31st... I’m about to blast every social media platform I can find about Ashley’s. Then I’m writing letters to every news agency, 1 every day until I get my chairs or get in the news... Never again... you&'d be better off building them yourself! When you&'re at the store they&'re super nice, helpful and eager to take your order and money! They&'ll sell you on how great the product is, how great their service is and how easy the setup and delivery is... all crap!!! The couches arrived and were thrown together by the delivery/installers, but when finished they worked. I like the couches I purchased but within a few months one of the couches had problems with the electric/mechanical devices that raise and lower the legs and back. This is were Ashley Furniture turns into a nightmare! First good luck getting ahold of anyone that will talk to you let alone help you!!! After days of of being on and off hold, finally got someone to agree to send out a technician under the extended warranty that I paid extra for. He arrived and was pleasant, said yep the mechanical part has failed and we&'ll send out a brand new couch for you. Perfect right!!! Wrong... it took forever to finally arrive and when it did, the driver/installer didn&'t know how to take my couch apart, flipping it on its back roughly and then telling me Ashley sent the wrong side!!! Great, just perfect I tell him... he then tells my he&'s sorry for the inconvenience and that he&'ll make sure I get the correct replacement asap! Wonderful thank you I tell him. Guess what that was almost two months ago and when I finally after three days of being switched around, put on hold and promised a return call I finally got ahold of the GPS warranty company and the told me the driver filed the claim as completed and that he successfully installed my new replacement couch!!! His wonderful suggestion to help me with what his GPS warranty company&'s huge fail was... you&'ll need to contact Ashley Furniture to get this corrected!!! Wonderful back to trying to get someone to help me!!! Never again, not on the biggest sale of Ashley Furnitures life would I purchase another product from them!!! Good luck if you do.
If I could go lower I would! This whole company needs a Customer Service revamp.My experience began on 10/18/2020 when I entered the Colton store and purchased furniture from Sales Rep Steven Camilleo. While shopping the experience isn&'t so bad, although the sales rep did ring me up for three nightstands which he &"refunded&" one after brining it to his attention. My Furniture was scheduled to be delivered Wednesday November 3, 2020. The morning of my delivery I received a call from a very unenthused females stating my dresser was back ordered and wouldn&'t make the delivery. I asked her &"well when will the dresser be delivered?&" she stated Saturday. For a three day wait from original deliver day. No big fuss. Saturday comes and I haven&'t heard anything from Ashleys, so I decide to call customer care. customer care can&'t see a delivery scheduled for the day. So I they finally find a record stating it wasn&'t going to be delivered until Thursday November 19th. So it seems like she was just telling me whatever to get me off the phone. Fast forward to one week before my dresser is to be deliver I think about the refund due to me. so I check my card activity. No refund has been processed to my card. I call Customer care they can&'t see the refund due to me. I call the store, no answer. I left a voice mail, didn&'t return my call. Customer care even sent the store an email, still haven&'t heard from them. I have attempted to call several phone numbers linked to the store, on several different days. Because the store doesn&'t answer any of their communication platforms, it transfers me to customer care who isn&'t any help. Ive asked for upper management contact information and they fail to provide. Their only resolution on the phone is to walk into the store. unfortunately I live an hour and some change away from the store, because when I purchased furniture I was out that way visiting family. Till this day they still owe me money and I&'m paying interest on it. SMH. They need to get better practices in place to service their customers. Please don&'t purchase from here unless you want a headache from the aftermath.
I’ve been waiting for a refund from a couch I returned since October 13. Today is December 5. I’ve been told I would receive a callback for this refund at least 5 times. Corporate says they’re not able to do anything and that the local store is only able to give me the refund. The local store hasn’t answered their phone in months the times I’ve called. I was very impressed by the customer service when I first purchased things, but trying to return things has been ridiculous.. Also, I had the same problems as others’ reviews stated with the delivery date being changed the day of and items taking months to arrive..
I ordered 3 rooms of furniture back for my first home in July and finally received my last piece in October. The first delivery was damaged, they caused damage to my home. After that there were partial deliveries, delayed deliveries until 930 at night that were eventually cancelled. When I went to the store to complain in September , the store manager Alfredo, offered me credit to my account that never showed up. Now here we are in December and he won&'t return messages or repeated emails regarding the credit. It was a horrible experience and that combined with other stories of damaged furniture and poor customer service from other friends, I will not be giving my money to Ashley&'s again.
One of the most frustrating experience I&'ve had ever dealing with a furniture store. We furnished a new home and bought a lot of furniture from this store, everything delivered except our second set of bunkbeds. If I only bought one bunkbed, I would&'ve asked for a refund and bought the bunkbed somewhere else. But my problem is one set delivered and was set up, but delivery of the second bunkbed is now going on 6 MONTHS since we paid IN FULL!!!! 6 months?????!!! And it is suppose to deliver this weekend and I haven&'t received a call for a delivery time, which means they are going to delay it another (who knows) 3 months. Don&'t tell me it&'s because of COVID bc they are still selling that exact bunkbed on their website. I CANNOT get ahold of a person to discuss my concern and no one ever calls me back. I can&'t say enough bad things about this store and company! NEVER AGAIN!
The way this company does business is an absolute joke. Took six weeks to get my entire order and on top of that my coffee table set was missing parts. Been trying to get them to get me the missing parts for 2 weeks now. Absolutely awful communication. Their costumer service line is always too congested to get through to anyone. Missed delivery estimates, redundant confirmation calls that made it seem like they were looking for any excuse to push my delivery date back further. Missing courtesy calls about delivery. They also overcharged me several hundred dollars so now I have to deal with that. I 100% regret doing business with this company. Absolute nightmare.
HORRIBLE NON EXISTANT Customer Service! I&'m ready to take the HALF of my purchase they delivered without so much as a call letting me know half was missing, and drop it in the showroom! I even took my time and drove to the store because you certainly can&'t get any help when you call. Spoke to a &"manager&" who looked me in the eye & told me she would personally handle it. Gave me her email. Surprise! No response to 3 emails & still can&'t get a person to answer a phone! It&'s pathetic & I&'m more mad at myself for shopping there when I had already had an issue earlier with them. I truly hope someone reads this and saves themselves the headache that I&'m dealing with now.
I purchase living furniture on the 18th of Sept 2020 and I finally got it on the 4 of November and the hunch was wrong color and I order a sectional for my living room and a piece of the sectional is missing and then they said I will receive it on the 28th of November between 1230 to 430 and never showed up and no call our text so I called and when to voice-mail and then it said I won&'t get it under Dec 14 Ashley Furniture is full of shit I will never purchase anything from them again. They got my money and there customer service sucks. So if I can give them a zero u would.
We&'re experiencing all of the same problems of the people that rated 1 star. We began this transaction 3 months ago. Still no resolution. We bought a dining room set, TV stand, and cabinet. We&'ve been waiting for 2 pieces for our new home. First, there was a problem with our order that we only found out about on our own by calling after our first delivery date came and went without any contact from Ashley&'s. The store said we were on a list that is supposed to be worked daily to resolve issues. No one contacted us. After resolving that issue at the store it&'s been one failure after another. -impossible to reach anyone on the phone at the store or dispatch -general customer service department is very limited in what they can do-delivery cancellations by the store without notifying us-no empathy from employees while at the store -no one will take responsibility -no one has tried to make up for our inconvenience-when given the opportunity to take home some pieces while at the store, we had to wrap them ourselves without helpUPDATE: today (11/28/20) after finally getting through to someone in dispatch we found out that our credit authorization at Genesis expired. Ashley&'s repetitive failures delayed delivery so long that Genesis notified Ashley&'s that funding was canceled for our last 2 pieces. And that&'s why our delivery was canceled. Again, we had to find all this out on our own. Ashley&'s lost a repeat customer. We will never recommend Ashley&'s.

I will start by saying our sales person Phillip was beyond excellent. However, Ashley furniture does not do right by their sales people as they provided him a date that our furniture would be ready for pickup (6 weeks from the date we ordered it and it was not a special item order). We received no communication from anyone within the six week period. I called the morning we were told to come pick up to see what time we were supposed to come pick up and I was told that only one piece was there but still couldn&'t pick up even the one piece because I didn&'t have an appointment time. Meanwhile, I planned my entire holiday gathering around the fact I was told all my living room furniture was available for pick up before thanksgiving 6 weeks prior when I placed the order. I called Phillip and he said he spoke to the regional Vice President yet that Vice President never contacted me directly and there was no resolution to having my whole furniture order before the holiday. I went to Mathis brothers Ontario upon receiving this news and left with an entire living room set that far exceeded the quality of Ashley and took it home the very same day no hassle, no questions asked, no wait time. When I cancelled my order with Ashley in-person,in the store that day, they provided me a claim number and said I needed to call a different number 2 days later to request my refund as they don&'t do refunds in the store (keep in mind, I paid cash for my entire order!) This is beyond the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. I have 3 bedrooms to furnish as well as a quarter of an acre outdoor space and will be getting all my furniture needs both indoors and outdoors from Mathis Bros Ontario. This is a shame for the salespeople of Ashley as they work hard but the operations team can&'t even communicate a simple delay within a 6 week time frame nor deliver on their promised pick up date. And as for the regional Vice President knowing about this issue and never reaching out, I am speechless. This is a corporation I will never support and ensure all the neighbors in my new neighborhood needing furniture for these new construction homes stay far away from any Ashley furniture store and/or Ashley furniture product! Still waiting for my refund by the way.
Update After sale : so the bad service continuing on !I had a problem with bed . Called Ashley customer services to find out if the added protection policy would cover me or not. After many calls and repeating the story to unlimited number of agents again and again. One agent agreed that the fault is covered by insurance.We agreed that I will get a replacement after 2 weeks.After 3 weeks I received nothing . So again the calls circle started ! To end up with an agent saying : oh sir sorry the protection wouldn&'t cover your item! What about the other agent who confirmed It&'s covered before? Oh .. that was by mistake .. is there anything else you want me to check for you today? ( like go away in polite way ) !Super frustrating!

I purchased bedroom set from Ashley and when my delivery came in the media center was damaged, they scheduled another delivery for that piece a couple of days later and never showed up, I had to call and they have been rescheduling and not showing up. Delivery service is no good, waste of time.
I purchased two bedroom sets. Only One was delivered. It has been almost a month and I had to physically walk into this store to complain because customer service on the phone is terrible. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
PSA: I'm considering posting daily!!! NEVER SHOP ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! Absolutely the worst experience!! Purchased/PAID in full for furniture on July 18th, in store with a promise of August 28th delivery. August came and went with no communication from Ashley. I had to call them 2 days before to see if it was still coming. Nope! Then after numerous calls to customer service somebody finally informed us our order would be ready in November! Nope! Then it was JANUARY 11 2021??!!? Fast forward dozens of calls and emails and "let me speak to your supervisor" delivery was finally scheduled for November 9th between 12 - 4:45. It's now past 8:45pm with nobody answering calls, or contacting us in any way. The number listed on the website for the delivery man is a number to somebody not even working!!! They've had our money for months and we're without furniture!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!
If you are thinking of heading to Ashley for furniture, turn your car back around and go ANYWHERE else that doesn't sell Ashley furniture. I have never had this many horrible experiences with one company in my life. I understand if things take longer due to a global pandemic that is perfectly fine. What is not ok is the horrible customer service, the rude employees, the lack of compassion and honesty to your customers. There is nothing worse then being lied to, spending hours upon hours dealing with people over the phone and the staff to have things go no where. Then when you get your items after 4 months of waiting and they come damaged and there is no replacements available and half of your things are still missing it will really make you believe this post. After about $15,000 later I am one unhappy camper and will NEVER be shopping at Ashley or buying Ashley products from any dealer. Quality of products 1 start, customer service 1 star, cost of items 1star, delivery service should even get a star at all. I thought buying a car was bad and stressful, well I just found what I hate more then that, shopping and dealing with Ashley Furniture.
NEVER GO HERE!!! They seemed very friendly and helpful while we were there. But after we left the store, it's been one problem after another. Lilly was the worst sales person I've ever experienced once she got her commission from our orders and we left the store. Save your money and go somewhere else. Worst experience I've ever had!
Been waiting on my couches for two months now , when I got promised a date in the beginning of October , I have to call to check what's going on and FOURTH time they change my date further and further out. I am running out of patience !
I can't stress this enough, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! It doesn't matter how good of a deal it might be financially. It will not be worth the continuous headaches you will have when trying to deal with this company trying to actually receive your furniture. My ordered was delayed three separate times. It took so long we had to cancel delivery and assembly, rent a truck and go pick it up. Then they told us an item was back ordered. They said it couldn't be delivered for another three months. So then we rented another truck for pick up and less than 24hrs prior to pickup they said it wouldn't arrive until next week. And shocker, we still haven't received or been able to pick up our order.... Please I can't stress this enough, look elsewhere for your furniture, literally anywhere else!

Get ready for Very long hours of waiting on the phone and to repeat your details and the reason for your call to many agents who will transfer the call without even letting you that they do! After all you will out of this call with incorrect information and wait for the delivery that will never come . Then repeat all above again ! I made a purchase here with close to $3000 . Do not waste your time, furniture is complete garbage. I spent 10k just on patio furniture and within weeks it all started falling apart. They will deliver damaged product and never fix it, I've called over 100 times they finally sent a tech and then.... Crickets again. I've left voicemails, emails, texts, etc. No one cares.
If I could give a no star, I would it’s so sad! I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have had nothing but issues and bad service. The only person that was nice was the salesman. The sofa recliners are garbage and the warranty they offer is a scam. When you need to file a claim, they try to say it’s a manufacturer issue, they won’t honor the claim. And the manufacturer says it’s not. We basically purchased broken furniture and no one wants to help. This is completely wrong on how they deceive the consumer. I honestly don’t recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money on good looking junk and extremely poor customer service.
Sales people are decent. No issues there. Ordered item not in stock advised it would be no more than 6 weeks. Expected delay because of Covid so we ordered and paid in full. (Wonder what happens if you finance but decide to cancel because you don&'t receive items) Six weeks pass, nothing call continuously. They never answer the phone. Leave voicemails never return them. Called main customer service 4 times in a week every time different answer end of august, beginning of October, middle of October. Finally call back one week ago to be told now December. Ridiculous, went in store to cancel and get a refund. Was told to wait up to 3 business days. I would receive a call (never did) or refund would process automatically. This also hasn&'t happened a week later. Either have to go in store or start a claim with my bank. AVOID ordering anything not in stock. Do not get delivery.
I had the best shopping & buying experience here! ADAM WOLF was AWESOME! He took me straight to the item I had seen on-line, and then helped me compare other items in the fabric and color I liked. He respected my budget and answered all my questions with expertise and knowledge beyond what I expected. He helped me get exactly what I wanted, in a way I could afford. Haven&'t even sat down on our new furniture and the service is already at a 1.. shout out to Phillip with some false promises. Seems like this place just like to reel in sales. Was promised our furniture wouldBe available for pick up on Tuesday. It&'s now Friday and we are finding out our furniture was scheduled for a week from now. F****** hell I supposed to received my delivery today of my new furniture. I even received phone call from Ashley Furniture on Tuesday to verify delivery. However, I waited all day today for delivery, after I got frustrated I called Ashely Furniture, and their response was this delivery is going to be made on the 29th. Like What the **** is this? I sold my old furniture this morning so I can make room for new furniture. I have event in my house on Saturday. This is beyond ridiculous. I just had my back surgery that is why I went to get Tempur-pedic mattress, and now I got BS answer with useless apology that it&'s going to deliver on the 29th. I am still in the midst of this issue. First, this is my 5th purchase from Ashley&'s furniture. I have never experienced this poor of service from your company.I placed an order last month (August) and paid in full. I waited as told to call as the items wouldn&'t be ready for several weeks. I called mid September as I was told to do. I called 3x and never received a call back to schedule a pick up for my purchased items. I had to drive to the Colton location just to work this out. I was told the bedroom set would be completely ready and available for pick up on 09-19-2020. I scheduled the pick up time for 11am since I had work at 2pm. I arrived 09-19-2020 at 11am and was informed my appointment wasn&'t until 1:40pm. (Other customers told me their time appt was changed as well). This was obviously incorrect but I was told my items would be ready in 15 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes I requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with the female manager and expressed my disappointment. My 2 year old son was In The car and need lunch and it was now 11:45pm. All items but the footboard was available. The manager Jackie told me she would personally call to let me know when it was available for 9-19-2020 or the next day 09-20-2020. The manager called late Saturday and said the item would be DELIVERED to my house on Sunday 09-20-2020. THIS WAS SET UP AS AN APOLOGY FOR THE ERRORS. The manager said she would call with a delivery time. I waited until Sunday at 3:00pm before calling myself. I was told by Stephanie in customer care that she spoke with the same female manager (Jackie) who said the delivery couldn&'t happen but told me the footboard was available for pickup. I was never called or informed. This would be night 2 where my daughter has no bed to sleep in. So I drove in and use my gas for a third time (counting when I went to the store). I receive the footboard and go home excited to complete the build of the bed, only to learn there are no screws to connect the headboard, sideboards with the footboard. NONE nor directions to do so. Furthermore we did not receive a lamp that was part of the order. I honestly could care less about the lamp but it&'s the principle at this point. I double checked every dresser drawer and box. No screws no bolts no directions. So I call and speak with Stephanie again. I express my displeasure and irritation. I was called back by Stephanie who told me there&'s nothing she can do and would not forward me to a manager. She told me I would be contacted by a manager tomorrow. Stephanie offered to mail the screws to my house. So how many days is my daughter supposed to sleep on the floor? I am absolutely disgusted with this experience to the point where I will never return as a customer. I have spent well over $15,000 at your store location in Colton from previous purchases. I have been treated with zero professionalism and not a single employee has attempted to go above and beyond to fix the issues or make me into a happy customer. All I have gotten was &"I&'m sorry&" and excuses. And now on 09-21-20 I drove to the store to find the warehouse closed. So now I have to wait until Tuesday to get the screws to put my daughters bed together. Never buying from them again

Lied about furniture being in stock, delivered my furniture to the wrong address after being on the phone with them 3 times before my delivery, THEN A PIECE OF my FURNITURE THAT WAS DELIVERED WAS DAMAGED. This is worst company and customer service ever. I ordered a head board with shelving and they dropped off the wrong things! I have someone else’s headboard and I’m missing a piece of my bed frame. I have tried calling and have been placed on hold for THIRTY minutes with no answer. I have went online to message them and all they could do is email the delivery team with not knowing when they’ll get back to me about it. I regret buying from them and wish I could go back in time.

If I could give Ashley a ZERO, I WOULD!!!!Last year when they delivered my furniture it took 3 tries for a small end table, the staff was rude the second and third time, they weren&'t going to set it up like I paid for, and the second set of delivery drivers made me feel threatened when I asked them to do what I paid for. The store was suppose to credit us back the delivery fee for the trouble...then I never could get a hold of them again, and of course, no refund.Fast forward a year, my year old couch is broken. The frame is dangerous the way it is sticking out and loose boards inside. I have called, my mom has called. I did the chat and they said someone would call. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS OR CALLS BACK! I paid for a warranty, but I&'m Retry sure that&'s a scam now since I can&'t use it if no one responds! Now my family will have no furniture in the living room because my year old couch is destroyed. RUN AWAY FROM ASHLEYS! Do not pay for warranty&'s. It has been over 2 weeks and we still have no one responding. Just an FYI too. Some department stores use Ashley so make sure it&'s not them before you pay for delivery or warranty. 2 years ago I tried to buy a couch from JC Penny and it needed up being an Ashley product. They cancelled my delivery 3xs then just never brought it. I thought it was JCpenny that was the problem. I was wrong it was Ashley&'s!
Purchased bedroom set, took more than a month to receive the actual bed, well actually they reached out to confirm a delivery, a time frame was givin between one and 5 pm, items never showed up, no call or reason, now a new date was given for next week! Okay, I will never purchase from here again. Customer service - sucks. I was supposed to have a delivery and I was tracking it. I was 11, when they got to 10 they gave me an auto call saying they would be there in 10 minutes. Next thing I know they are on numer 12. They skipped me. Never heard anything from them again. Can&'t call them. No answer. I guess I have to deal with them another day. Mean while my invalid dad needs his lift chair. They are so inconsiderate. Not even a call saying WHY.
UPDATE: Today is September 25, 2020, delivery of loveseat is supposed to be today, let&'s see if it happens. We ordered the sleeper and loveseat on June 21, 2020, we received the couch just a few weeks ago, still unacceptable. I&'m pretty sure the couches are not leather as advertised. This company is fraudulent, and I will do my best to expose them, I talk to everyone about them and will find a way to take them down. Not a threat, just a fact. The arm of the couch has a rub spot from carrying it in unfortunately.Previous review: It&'s been since June 21, 2020 that we ordered our couches. To date we haven&'t received them. They have been scheduled 2x and no delivery. It states that it is scheduled for today, however, no follow up calls, the tracking shows scheduling. Calling them is difficult. I think they really need to get a grip on their delivery service, this is frustrating. Doubtful we will buy from them again due to these issues. Just be careful going through them, nearly 3 months for a sleeper sofa and loveseat, $3200 of our money is in their hands and we have 0 to show for it. Buyer beware, I will update this review as events occur.

They gave me a delivery date and the day before my delivery I called only to find out they changed the date without letting me know. They gave me poor customer service and was never able to speak to a supervisor. They lied over the phone regarding the information I received two days before my delivery date. The most irritating part was the poor customer service I received.

Ordered a king bed frame and it broke within a couple months in the middle of the night! I can never get a hold of anyone when I call and when I leave a voicemail for a callback they never called back. The only time I can talk to someone is through their online chat. I did get someone to come but all they did was take pictures and said he'd order the parts and then when i got in contact with them online 10 days later they said they never show record of an order. Twice after, they say they will order parts. I never get a confirmation email like I asked for and here I am 3 months from the first service call with my mattress still on the floor.

I wish I had looked at all the reviews before I went and made a purchase at Ashleys Furniture.DO NOT BUY furniture from Ashley's! When I went in the sales people were very friendly and the salesman told me if I had any problem to give them a call but when my dining room set was delivered the panel was loose on my dining room table and the bench that I bought to go with my dining room table cracked five days later! I repeatedly tried to get a hold of customer service , you won't get a live person on the line... EVER . I had to drive back into the store to put in a complaint then they said they would send out a technician for the issue when the technician arrived at my house he said he was going to send the nuts and bolts to go to the table through UPS and that I could assemble the table myself otherwise I would have to wait probably another couple of weeks! Then when I showed him the crack in the bench he said oh that's not on my work order you're gonna have to go back in and put another complaint and he said this happens with these benches all the time because there's no support on them!!Really wow your salesman is telling me that it's not a good bench then why sell the product??! Really regretting doing business with them. Just got back from Ashley's and Colton to go complain again about what was going on with my furniture and this time I was helped out by a customer service representative by the name of Roxanne went above and beyond to take care of my problem thank you so much Roxy! Because of her I'll give them two stars
I've tried reaching out they no not call back, finally after weeks they answer and redirect my call to tempurpedic customer service about my warranty, when I do not have tempurpedic. Finally filed a claim with BBB.org. Still trying to get a hold of someone about this!

My husband and I went to Ashley yesterday. Not knowing exactly what kind of couches we were going to get. We bumped into sale associate Yajaira ! We couldn't have found a better sales rep. She was amazing asked a couple of questions told us a little about the sales and promotions , and let us wounder off. She came back to find us I told her what I wanted and she made it happen. I'm so glad we had, exceptional customer service. I highly recommend having her as your sales rep. We didn't just purchase our living room set , we also purchased our dining set. Thank you Yajaira.
This place is ridiculous ! I went in to buy a sofa , the sales guy had no idea what he was doing and I swear he must've been on something. We were about 90% done with my order when he told him to give him a minute he was going to help some other customer and NEVER came back! I waited an hour for him to return till I finally got fed up and decided to complain to a manager. The manager finished my order within 10 minutes. Next issue! Delivery! I was told my soca will deliver July 6th, I received a confirmation email and text two days before delivery. I waited all day, when I called for a status they told management had made an error and they did not have my sofa out for delivery. When I was finally transferred to the appropriate department, they told me they don't service my area till Saturday's which is 4 days from the 6th! So no one decided to call me to tell me my order was rescheduled or it was made in error. Instead they made me wait all day for an order that was never going to arrive! Do not order from here , go to ANY other location! I asked to speak to management and of course that didn't happen. Apparently they were answering their phone , total BS! I'll update this when I actually receive my order to see what Catastrophe they put me through that day.
My husband & I have a credit card with Synchrony for Ashley Furniture. I caught some sneakiness on Synchrony's behalf, and I'm thankful I caught it in time. We made our purchases under promotion, which was zero interest if we pay off the purchase by the time the purchase "expires", which is essentially a year from the purchase date. We were led to believe that if we keep up with the "minimum due" each month, we would have the purchase paid off in time to satisfy the zero interest deal. Why wouldn't it if the purchases are set up for zero interest? However, we kept up with the minimum payments & were excited to soon have this purchase paid off with no interest. It could have been such a generous offer! Two months until our purchases' expiration date, & we see there is still a large balance leftover. I called customer service & asked why there is still a large balance even though our promotion was about to expire, & I was told that the minimum payments are not set up to satisfy the promotional purchases. It is the customer's responsibility to remember the date of the purchase, & calculate each monthly payment in time. If I didn't catch this & continued going by the minimum due, it would have taken an extra 30 months to pay it off and interest would have accrued. Inconvenient, laborious, & sneaky! LESSON LEARNED: Remember your purchase dates & do not rely on minimum due amounts to satisfy promotional purchases in time.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are so willing to take your money, but if you have any problems there's no one to help. I called time and time again, they say they will call you 24 to 48 hours but that's a lie. No one calls back. I went back to the store where manager Hector was not helpful at all, told me to wait for 10 min hour later he still had not come to help me. I went looking for him where he made me wait another 30 min before giving me his "business card" which was a bogus card that just directed you back to a phone that never gets answered. I regret making any purchase here. I will never buy another item here again. Ridiculous service, tbey should not be in business, stealing from customers

Better off going to a small bisness furniture store cuz they will take care of you! We had lots of problems with this joke store but here are Jvst a few that coming to mind now... If u have furniture being delivered, be prepared to open yovr house to thugs , felons , grunts & goons! They hire minimum wage drug addicts to lift the heavy stuff to yovr home! If u don't keep an eye on all of them they will litterally steal from yovr home! I had pocket change laying out and noticed it was gone! Then they don't wanna assemble nothing and then u tell them they have to they get mad and do a half ass job! My California King was only put 3 lil cheap wood planks on bottom!!?? What a sham! Speaking of my Cali king bed, I baught and paid for it...... then they tell me it's gonna take 2 months for rails to be delivered !!! Or I can get a king! Wtf?! Anyways, back to the delivery thugs! One of them simple plugged his phone into my charger on my nitestand without asking! And they r so ruff they damaged the edge of my bed frame & walls by proping heavy wood frame on my walls!! No joke! If u get delivery u mvst watch them like a hawk cuz they are a bunch of low life's! Beware! The other thing is I picked the couch 3 piece set cuz it was cushioning and comfortable ! But when delivered they do the old switch and give me the hard cheap foam in my couches! Never again am I buying furniture from Ashleys! YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WARNED!
PLEASE look online before buying here!! Our entire house (except the dining room) was purchased at here Ashley's. I give one star because it is beautiful furniture! BUT when it came time to buy our dining room set, we found a BIG ERROR in the company! The 5pc set in store was listed for $1699, the EXACT same model but 7pc set online was $1019. The extra barstools we needed were $250 in store, but $85 online! In store, they are very clear about price matching, and were offering 30% off 60 month financing. So my husband and I decided to go that route since we already had an Ashley's card from previous purchases. When it came down to "how will you be paying for this" we stated the 30% off for 60 months on our card. They said they cannot price match and do the 30% off, and would only finance for 12months. I told them they price matched from their own Ashley's website, and they told me "it's different and we don't combine price matching and discounts." I told them it would make sense if it was from another company but it's not. They then told me I could be charged the original amount ($1699 plus the $250 for each additional chair) and receive the special financing. I asked why anyone would even do that, and they told me because I was paying their price with 60 months, that my payment would be much lower than, paying the online price financed at 12 months. I said "no sh*t Sherlock, I'm a math teacher." And we walked out. I'm so disappointed we didn't compare the pricing of all our other furniture before. Very very disappointing. Will not shop here ever again! Found a similar piece at half the price message me if you want her info!!
11 days ago I purchases a couch loveseat , chair and a half , dinning room table,6 chairs and a room rug over $4000. 1.No room rug was delivered2. Chair and a half was broke 3 dinning room table had a gouge out of the leg4.The chairs all wobbled5. The chairs they sent for the table were to talk for the table you could not sit in them with your legs under the table ( they had 24 and 30 inch chairs ) they sent 30 6. Over the last week I have spent 8 hours on hold to speek to a human. Monday I stayed on hold for 1 he 48 min when a customer service representative finley answered . I told here and had pictures of everything. That was 2 days ago . She said someone will get right back to you.And still nothing . I asked if the store manager would speek to me on the phone and she said he was to busy and he never got back to me either.
This place has the worst service I have ever experienced, bought a $7000 bed and the 3rd party driver damaged plants and scratched stairs. They were also supposed to take old mattress and box springs and driver showed up and said it's not on his list to take. Called customer service the. He tells them it is damaged with bed bugs, I show up to house and says he has no room on truck. The customer service office was a joke. They will not send me the pictures he said he took and they left without us signing anything and not showing us how to use the adjustable bed. No booklet left nothing. Very very disappointed. Nothing but a really bad experience at this place. Me and my wife bought a bed just a little over a month, we were missing a part to actually put the bed together an guest what we got? The same part we already have which is the headboard, only now we got two headboards and no bed. Thanks ashley furniture, after a month we still don't have a bed. Don't think we'll be buying anything any time soon.
Ordered a sectional from Ashley. Took 6 weeks to get to our house and there were no holes drilled to install the legs. Easy enough to do on our own (though we shouldn't have to!), but was worried doing so would void our extended warranty. We were never given any sort of print out or brochure laying out the guidelines of the warranty, so I wanted confirmation of what to do. Called right away and got a recording that they were receiving a high volume of callers. Sat on hold for 15 minutes, then was sent to a voicemail box where a representative would call me back "within 48-96 hours", it's been a week and I've yet to hear from anyone. I've tried to call many times in the meantime, but no one ever answers. I've left 2 voicemails so far. Tried to use their online messaging system today, gave all my info and waited 10 minutes for a representative before giving up. In the meantime, my credit card has made two separate charges for this purchase, so perhaps one day, if I ever get through to them, I can inquire about that. Bottom line- AVOID ASHLEY HOMESTORE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Raid(Ray) was amazing, we just purchased a new home and was nervous about which design schemes to go with. I showed Raid photos of our new house and he jumped right into action! I didn't need to say or do much because I loved everything he picked out. Raid also explained why items went perfectly and others would clash. Everything went perfectly from the very beginning even to the end with financing! I've already referred a few colleagues to Ashley! Thank you for making my experience so memorable!

I bought a table from them and it arrived damaged. Service tech came and inspected it and said to wait for there call to exchange it. I waited and no call from them so I had to call. The service tech LIED to me and they weren't going to call me. He put something totally different in his report then what he told me.IF YOU DONT WANT BROKEN FURNITURE DONT BUY FROM ASHLEY.
I do see tons of bad reviews and I understand why. I also had a horrible experience with one of the sales rep that is not worth mentioning. However, I do like to give second chances and I'm happy that I did. My sales rep was Yesenia Vallejo and WOW!! Her customer service was beyond exceptional. She was patient with us and informative. She did not pressure or tried to scam us. Call the store, make an appointment with Yesenia and see it for yourself.
One of my favorite places!!! I loveeee their inventory and their price match offer. We bought our livingroom and bedroom set a few months back. Our sales representative was Yesenia and will always go to her. She was friendly and super patient, not pushy at all. I have taken two family members for their furniture needs. Highly recommend this place. It's the biggest in the nation. Make your appointment with Yesenia.
We recently bought a bed on April 29 and only the rails came on the 13th, almost two weeks after the delivery date, May 1 , but only the rails. they didn&'t think to bring the headboard and footboard when the rails were delivered it has been 6 days since the rails came and the rest is still not here and it said it was going to be delivered on the same day as the rails but it said that for 3 days in a row instead of going forward it now says in transit and i am just furious that they did not think to bring them on the same day i am only giving this 2 stars because we really needed a bed because i sleep on two mattresses stacked up on each other and i may be over reacting since others have more priorities but still i just hope it does not get damaged seeing other replies we will most likely never buy from Ashley online ever again we will next time go to a real store disappointed : Edit it says the headboard/footboard is here but it isn&'t they lied and it is not here i am confused and we can&'t even contact them because in est ashley isEdit 2: the frame just came earlier than expected it has a small crack on the footboard but i am just happy it was delivered on schedule
***WARRANTY SCAM*** ***POOR QUALITY FURNITURE***We purchased dining and family room furniture in December 2018. At the time of our purchase, the sales rep (Philip S) convinced us to buy a very expensive 5 yr warranty ($1999 but he gave us a "great deal" at only $599). He assured us this warranty would cover EVERYTHING! We just couldn't go wrong with this warranty! So we got sucked into buying it along with the rest of our purchase. The delivery process was clunky at best - the media cabinet was on back order and we never received our rug, etc. Half of the chairs had significant problems upon delivery but finally we settled in with our new furniture. 14 months later - the backs of the dining room chairs pop off when someone sits down, even with minimal pressure. The fabric on our couch cushions is "pilling". Guess what? NONE OF THIS IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! So frustrated - we never buy warranties, stupid and naive that we fell for this sales scam. Total waste of money. Shame on Ashley for promoting this warranty.
Was helped by a gentleman name Ralph who was very short on patience! Long story short, me and my father came in for a item that was on ad and he showed us everything but the item on ad. Then proceeded to tell us it was sold out, and we said no it's right here. When we found it and showed him the pricing difference, he got frustrated. He said "we need to be looking on offer up or at yard sales", that's more the price range you want to be at. First off I never told him my price range and when you come in for a certain item your set on it. His remark was just as insulting as if he racially profiled us. This is not good business. If he's done it to us, he's done it to other customers. We told the manager, but I hope more is done regarding this issue. This gentleman should be lucky he has a job right now with everything going on. The salesman and the store lost our business and I hope no other customer has to deal with this kind of insulting, rude, condescending behavior.

I read all the reviews and nobody spoke about Lizabeth. I am not surprised. She was very helpful, very accommodating, she said here&'s my cell phone number text me anytime, just not past midnight, I had one customer do that.All was super great until we decided to buy. We did the whole deal and then when our order arrived it was the wrong color. We text Lizabeth and she asked if we declined it when they delivered the furniture. I said decline?! What?! What does that mean? Because basically it wasn&'t her problem if we didn&'t decline it. I was texting her during this time and I did not understand what she meant so I called and it went directly to voicemail and then she text me immediately after to go to customer service. I was upset that she couldn&'t even explain it to me and so we got ready real quick and went in to the store and they said it was nonrefundable. Flat out. I said but they delivered the wrong color furniture! Only to find out that they discontinued the color we wanted and only had grey ones. I asked for Liz and she came and spoke to the nice lady helping me at customer service and we were across them but Liz wasn&'t even looking at us . She was speaking to the customer lady 1 foot across from me about the situation and didn&'t even look to face us. She was telling the lady what the issue was and I was saying no, that&'s not the case. And she kept talking not facing me and the customer service lady was like, she is saying no. The lady was basically saying she is right there. But the fact that she was across the counter from us and did not even look at us to discuss the issue was real messed up. I mean she sold us the merchandise and we drove all the way back to Ashley&'s. Why can&'t she explain the issue to us? Instead she spoke about us directly across from us. I then asked where it said the stuff about the refund and that we didn&'t realize it so I wanted to see it. And rudely another male employee behind the counter said that they weren&'t entitled to tell us & that it was on the back of the page somewhere & picked up a sheet of paper and pointed at the back. At that point I already understood that it was nonrefundable, that was my bad for not asking. Although we received the wrong order and that was still messed up though. So then I asked for a Manager just to share the fact that I didn&'t realize that but what could I do. I wish Lizabeth shared that information with us. I wanted to let the Manager see my texts from Lizabeth and tell her that we got the wrong color couch and now nothing could be done. I wanted to tell the Manager that we weren&'t informed that we could deny the furniture when it was delivered. But she said it was common sense. I asked how it was common sense when we could not see what color the couch was because it was wrapped up. It was not visible. She had no answer. She offered to give us 300 to shop around the store for our inconvenience and ofcourse I took it, but again she stressed that next time not to receive it because it was common sense that we do not receive the delivery if it was the wrong one. I didn&'t get that comment of hers because the couch was not visible at all. What was I suppose to do? Break the box open when delivered and check on the color beforehand? I checked the item number to confirm and it was the same but apparently not the correct color. And this is a big investment we&'re talking about here. This was over a grand. But now I know to open up the boxes when delivered Well that situation sucked but Edward helped us get 300 worth of end tables and that took no more than 30 minutes. And Edward told us that the items were nonrefundable blah blah blah! I&'m like thank you for informing us and that we already knew. We found out the hard way. Before ordering with Liz we came for 3 hours on a Saturday and then 4 hours the next day. She was always busy with other customers even though she made an appointment with us for Sunday. At 11am. When we were driving home my husband and I spoke to the kids about business ethics (our parents both own a couple of small local businesses), we spoke about greed and how Lizabeth was greedy. Not relevant but we explained the difference between greedy and stingy. We spoke to them about business ethics and tfw importance of not being like Lizabeth from Ashley Home Goods. Once the deal was locked she ignored us. And I hate to say but I was glad that the kids witnessed all that.

I got there at 11:30am they showed me some mattresses and the salesman said he would be back and he did that for about 3 times, when we finally made our decision he said he would be right back and was helping other customers. If he had other customers why would he accept to help us? So as we wait to get helped after we made our decision i hear him call his manager and he didnt show up, an hour after our decision is made gos by he is now telling us the system is down but yet other salesman are still on the computers making sales, i hear him call the manager Francisco again saying customers are leaving and yet again no manager show us up. By now its 1pm and i decided to leave because the salesman said the system is down and could not help us but we can make another appointment. I do not believe their excuse because if the system was down no one would be using the computers. I consider this poor customer service and I will not be returning to this location. Last time i bought couches they also gave me a date for delivery and ended receiving the couches a month from each other and at a later date that they said.
Okay so I bought a dining room table set and a coffee table. Let me just tell you, we are pretty gentle with our belongings but there are so many dents and paint coming off from just wiping the table with a non harsh chemical cleaner! Very poor service!!! Purchased two dressers that took over a month to get and they cane broken its now been two months since I purchased and can not get a call back from anyone. Haven’t spoken too anyone for 1 1/2weeks and the last person I spoke to said I will get a call back in 72hrs that never happened. Now no one answers you have to leave a voicemail I have left 2 voicemails ! All I want to do is return the items I do not want replacements . Definitely will NOT be purchasing from Ashley’s Furniture again !
I'm completely disappointed with this company!I bought a $1500 couch with insurance that I paid extra!My couch felt like it was broke, I thought they would replace it! But to my surprise they sent A Person to repair my couch & it still makes noise when we sit on it!It's so embarrassing when I have company to visit & they sit on the couch! I will never buy from this company & I won't buy the insurance! UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!
I came into this store and I live in Orange County. I was helped by Zach Sierra with purchasing a dinning room table. Zach made the process smooth and had it delivered with no issues. His knowledge and attitude was really helpful and makes me want to refer all my family and friends to him directly who live in and out of that store area. Thank you for all of your help and customer service.
I wanted to complete my bedroom set so I ordered a few items. I have made several purchases from Ashley and have never been so dissatisfied with the quality and service I received. First off, I received my chest with parts falling apart off the track when opening the first drawer. Secondly, purchased two side dressers only received one and other been in transit for a week. So I've been calling customer services only to be left on hold forever. If you leave a voicemail and wait for someone to call you it never happens. There is no excuse for this type of service.
*Buyers Beware*If you decide to go to any Ashley Furniture store know that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. I had a concern with a fabric color in store, but purchased the item anyway and had it delivered. I immediately discovered it was less gray and more of a bluish green hue with some gray. My sales person who did not disclose the No Return Policy prior. I explained I wanted to return the items and all but one was still wrapped, but she could do nothing. I had to file a claim with corporate which was denied because the item was not considered defective. I asked for a regional manager since the store manager could do nothing. I never received a call. I will never purchase there again. This has been at $1600 nightmare.
Bought my furniture set on April 16 with a scheduled delivery date of May 9. Had 2 confirmation calls about my scheduled delivery and times. Had a knot in my stomach that something wasn't right. Contacted Ashley furniture about my delivery status and they inform me that they don't know what happened but my order will not be delivered today. I'm so disgusted that I took a day off from work in order to accept my delivery. The fact that they said they didn't load it in the truck and have no clue what happened is blowing my mind away. Their website is horrible, doesn't update anything about your orders, just says pending. After being on the phone for over an hour, I just got a "we'll we need to deliver your furniture another day" After my furniture gets delivered I will never shop withAshley furniture again. I hope others will have a betterExperience than me!
I am very disappointed with the customer service we have received from Ashley furniture. Unfortunately, because we cannot go into a store to resolve our issues we are stuck with the broken drawer (chest of drawers) and an issue with our mattress. We have tried over and over and over again via phone calls and live chats with no resolution. I have always loved their furniture and have given them the benefit of the doubt during this time of COVID-19, but that doesn't excuse their lack of response and resolution. Sadly, I cannot endorse a company that doesn't help it's customers.
Do not makes purchases from the Colton store or schedule delivery from the Colton warehouse. Ashley does not follow COVID-19 guidelines. Delivery people arrived, no gloves, no mask, no precautions taken. This company does not care about their customer's health. Not only that, we paid for assembly and they tried to drop the furniture in the back yard and attempted to flee without assembling it. Every time we order something through Ashley, there is a problem. They schedule delivery and call you the morning-of to tell you it's back ordered (this has happened multiple times and appears to be a trend). This company has no respect for their customer's time. Another issue that appears to be the norm with them is deflecting blame from the store to the warehouse and vice-versa. When there is something missing from a delivery or an issue, they appear to be taking notes but the next time someone from the company follows up with you, you must explain all the details all over again, every time. The quality of their furniture is nice, but the customer service leaves something to be desired, especially not taking any COVID-19 precautions during deliver, and this is why, ultimately, we opted to give them two stars. Do not work with this business until after the pandemic is over, do it for your health. Do it for your family's health.
Sold me a bed (the bollanburg king size) that collapsed while I was on it - it's a miracle there were no injuries. It's held together on 3 tiny sticks in the middle. Would not grant refund for the bed. Took a month to come repair it. The repairperson said that he sees this all the time with that bed and recommended I get a long piece of wood to drill into the center of the bed.
I bought my bedroom set from this location about a month ago & I love it! Had the BEST customer service from Adam Wolf! He introduced himself and then let me wander off to look around and came back to find me right when I needed some questions answered! He worked with me and talked about prices and deals and I was sold! Will definitely be coming back next time I need other furniture
My order was wrong not ONCE, but TWICE. Dispatch was on it ..the actual store and the people that work there are dense. The first order I received the whole bed was wrong. It was "corrected". I received my delivery, and you would think everything was there...hahahaha. nope. I was supposed to receive 2 side storage drawers...they sent one....also slots to hold the mattress that get placed on top didn't even come.. So now I have been on hold with this ridiculous store for 20 minutes. Because a manager needs to be involved. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I MEAN COME ON.
We received broken item and have been getting the run around ever sense trying to get a replacement. Did not spend 5k to have less than acceptable furniture. We should not have to go thru 5 and counting people to get this resolved. Shame on Ashley furniture.
If I could give 0 stars for this store and Adam Wolf and "Rick" I would. Adam lied to us about the delivery service offered for $149.99 which is a joke. He also told us that the customer service takes forever to get through so call him directly for help. Well he told the truth that customer service takes forever to get through but he lied yet again about helping. He answered the phone on his day off and promised to have someone get back to me...that never happened. As a matter of fact after calling numerous times to the store Rick finally picked up and when I asked for a Supervisor he hung up on me and now no one answers the phone. The store Manager Jose aka Alfredo???? also does not return promised phone calls. Never again will I purchase anything from this store as what I did purchase showed up broken and I have to wait 2 weeks for someone to come an fix it! I needed two night stands. A lot sales people standing around joking with each other, looking at selfies on their cell phone and not one could help me. Found what I needed on my own and had to check out with some at the counter. Went to pick up my order and spent over an hour waiting for them to bring to me. It took longer to get the item than to find and pay for it. Only 4 people waiting for their stuff. Not very impressed with customer service.
I'm going to have to personally drive back out to Colton to try and resolve this issue, because they don't answer their phones and if they don't stand behind their products and help their customers I will be forced to pay for something that is junk and I will take a loss and have to make another purchase somewhere else, this is a sad situation because I have limited resources I'm not rich and I work hard for my money. The sad thing is I've only owned these couches since September and the cushions are all compressing down just from regular sitting on them watching TV and the supervisor name Elena whom I spoke with from Ashley Furniture was very condescending and very rude to me not helpful at all which caused me to lose my cool and use a few choice cuss words.they don't want to replace the couch or allow me to upgrade with store credit. The service after purchase is HORRIBLE!!! Scheduled delivery did not happen, no call, no email. FINALLY got a human on the phone 4 days later, only to be informed that they didn't have the correct number on file, although I updated it during the purchase. They claimed the delivery guys called the "wrong" number and were told they weren't expecting a delivery. Duh!!! When asked to speak to a supervisor to file a complaint, I was given a lead and then offered for speak to another lead. They didn't even know the store manager's name. They had to look it up! Sad. Just sad.

Warning! Do not buy furniture warranty with Ashley or furniture for that matter. We bought our bedroom set with 5 yr warranty and Ashley is refusing to fix their furniture. We bought our nightstands with usb connections and one of the slots went out. We called and they stated that they don’t cover it because it is an “accessory item”? What? If you don’t cover it, then why in the hell are you selling furniture that come with accessories? Straight trash!

NEVER, NEVER AGAIN! RUN FAST! I bought 2 bedroom sets , HOWEVER upon delivery they damaged 3 pieces and one was built wrong from factory, It'S now been 5 more attempted delivery dates which Asley has canceled I am now being told after waiting 4 hrs into my expected delivery time that they are running behind. Over the last 4yrs we have filled our home with $10k + worth of furniture from this ashley's store we haven't had any major issues accept for this recent purchase... I've heard of grimy car sales man but grimy furniture sales man is a new thing now. First he said he can do same day pick up so after we purchased we went home and picked up a big uhaul to make sure it all fit. upon arrive at the warehouse they informed us we needed an appointment, which we didn't have.... after talking to managers they said we can wait ..... 3 hours later we were able to get it. Second- our kids bed set didn't come with instructions Third- our $2500 table set was damaged... mind you were having people over for Christmas and NYE our salesman Jacob lied to us and said they will be out on Thursday to fix the damage area but he didn't mention it was Thursday after New Years almost 2 weeks later so we stayed home Thursday waiting to find out it wasn't for another week. I'm very disappointed overall. I'll probably start looking at other companies to get our furniture from going forward unless they can make it right
My first purchase here was great. I was helped by Patricia, she was helpful, kind and one of the reasons I planned on returning. Although I stopped by today to purchase a dresser and Stacy was not so kind. Makes me think twice about returning again but if I do I will be asking for Patricia.
I was looking for a small recliner chair and found exactly what I needed at Ashley. Excellent price and great experience with Jacob Ryan. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and 5 year protection plan!

We bought our couches from here and we got 5 year warrently insurance and the warrently people don’t want to help us repair our couches , they hang up the phone on us and don’t want to Help us this is rediciolouse ! The amount of money we spend and they can’t help us. We don’t even know what to do next ! We paid a lot of money we can’t just throw them out and buy new couches Also my parents got the same couches and also need repairs and the warrently company doesn’t wanna help them either ! Ashly’s furniture is really not good anymore. ! Bad customer service not sure why they have people pay for warranty and once something happens the warranty is not worth it ! Never buying from Ashly’s store ever again !

So after a bad experience with their insurance company few years back I was actually NOT wanting to buy anything else ever again with this company. But because for convenience, my husband decided to give it another try. Which I was reluctantly went. Here it goes, we filled with $8k++ worth of stuffs from this place. Originally I wanted a beauty rest since we have beautyrest for the longest time. The sales rep convince us on the tempurpedic. So we decided to give it a try. We said NO to the mattress protector which was $200. The sales rep mentioned that he sweat when he sleep so that mattress protector is cooling or whatever. We still said NO. Having to purchase lots of items and the back and forth negotiating, made us stayed there for the longest time. Which was okay because there was a small cafe that sells food and drink. We decided on the delivery dates and went to pay. The delivery guys are the outside service. The day of the delivery the guys seemed unhappy and kept on mentioning that Ashley cheated on them, the stuffs that they said were not as much as the actual pieces of furniture that they picked up. They came from 2pm and stayed until 7pm. They finally told us that they can't finish the work on the last piece, they have to come back the next day to do the TV cabinet. So there 2 days of dirts that we have to deals and 2 days that I have to stay home for the furniture people. They insisted that they can't do it in one day, because it was a little too much. I called the store, no one get back to me, no one answered the call. The sales rep called back like, the next day. They left and I saw the invoice of the mattress protector, the one that we firmly said NO at the store. It came on the little box and how annoyingly can't be returned. We tried it for 2 nights and we decided that that material is too distracting and made us slept very uncomfortably. That $200 piece of junk ended up in the storage. Got a much better quality at Costco for $37, and was so comfortable. i kid you not. The next day, they came and continue with the installation. They did it in an hour or so. We tipped them extra because we felt that their fee was cheated by Ashley. Mind you, one of the gentleman is 79 years old. One of our piece is in back order and was delivered by Ashley 2 weeks later. They came in the hurry. After they installed, in our case it was in the 2nd story, the guy told me to sign like a disclosure that no property was damaged upon installation. I did not notice any damages until they left. They made a noticeable scratched by the stairs. A few weeks after, stuffs started to fall apart. Thats like how poorly installed or how cheap their quality is. After the first delivery(with the outside provider) i told them that the table looks like defected on the side. Those people said that nothing they can do, it was on the box and they did not dropped it or mishandled it. What ever they sign out from the warehouse they can't take it back. We opted out on insurance, because really, you are buying an insurance that you know it won't last you that long? Further more, I wouldn't want to use the same piece for 20 years. Their insurance company was a hassle anyway, bad history. So yes, will never use this company again in the future.

Love this place! Ashley Furniture is our favorite so of course this Warehouse was a great find. They have their Signature furniture at discount prices, and beautiful pillows for your couch or beds at discount prices as well
To purchase was GREAT, they were helpful & provided all the information I needed even for pick-up. Why I gave 3 stars is when I did my pick up. I called a day before to set up an appointment. Gentlemen I spoke to mention I needed to give 24 hour to set up my appointment. Keep in mind I called at 12pm & set up my schedule pick up the following day at 5:30. I get there 15 minutes early to give them plenty of time to pull out my Sofa Sleeper, yes I did check - in gentlemen that check me in was very quite & didn't even say much to me. I waited till 5:55 & ask what was taking long! Gentlemen that help me in a yellow vest stated I was a walk-in & my wait time take more the 45 minutes. I informed him I had scheduled an appointment & showed him the call time from my phone. Thankful he made sure to get my order in 5 minutes. Customer service that answer calls to schedule appointments for pick up need to so their job right. I attach a picture of my call time when I schedule my appointment.
Picking up my furniture from the warehouse with an appointment that was scheduled they day for, when I checked in they asked if I had an appointment is said Yes! I was told it would be 30 min , 1 hour went by so I went back in then they tell me I didn't have an appointment!! WOW! The lady was very unhelpful and RUDE, and they have a screen to track your items that's not even accurate!! BAD SERVICE!!!! Be prepared to WAIT!!!
We purchased a love sofa and love seat which we picked up when arriving at home and started to unwrapped the love seat we noticed it was damaged. I have called corporate.. emailed.. called to talk to the manager and no one has even tried to help in our situation. I have a brand new love seat in the package that came damaged which I have to pay for.. and they said it’s my fault for not inspecting material that is fully packaged.. and why would I unwrap the material knowing I am gonna travel with it and don’t want my brand new furniture ruined.. all I want it Ashely to help in some way and all we keep getting is that it is our fault. But clearly there is not damaged to the cardboard or plastic on the couch so obviously it wasn’t our fault.. don’t ever purchase from them.. Corporate or management completely disregard there customers.. I have purchased many things and never had a problem till now and I won’t even be met half ways in Ashley’s mistake.

I've been here for over an hour to pick up a mattress cover. The initial greeting was horrible; they didnt even acknowledge me. A female was on the computer and eventually said we'll be with you in a second. The male associate finally helped me but was not much better. No smile or making the customer feel welcome. Thank you to John Vasquez for expediting and making my visit more positive.

Picked up my furniture purchase on a Monday morning. I called ahead and the item was ready when I got there. Everyone - Karen at the customer service desk, the attendent for the parking area and the workers charged with pulling and loading our order - were ALL extremely pleasant and helpful. It should be noted that Ashley has changed their pick-up policy in that it is now necessary to make a pick-up appointment 24 hours in advance. The store doesn't tell you that part.

Absolute worst First time ever purchasing from Ashley Furniture store and last I purchased Maysville counter height table set on 12/21/18 it was delivered on 12/29/18.After it was set up I noticed that the table top was already peeling. Chairs are uneven. So I'm thinking this set was brought from the bottom of the warehouse barrel. I immediately contacted Ashley customer care sent pictures and they replied I was eligible for an exchange, ok but now what? Not hearing from them , I called again on 1/3/19. Lady said oh yes order is just now going through but we won't be able to deliver til January 24, 2019. Now I'm waiting another month! On 1/12/19 I get a voicemail from a Serena staying she was calling to discuss my upcoming delivery. Call her back same day, she says "Oh ok can I call you back?"When she hung up I believe her intentions was to never call me back. On 1/20/19 I called her back didn't get her on the line but I talked to a TamaRay (if I'm pronouncing it right) who told me my set would be delivered on 1/24/19. 1/23/2019 Received a Voicemail from Rudy stating they checked the table set and it was damaged so now I have to wait Feb 14, 2019 for my set. A set that mind you is paid for but so far its not worth the price I paid nor do I have. I asked Rudy what can Ashley do abut my inconvenience, he said to call the Store. Now I smell a run around coming and after reading all the bad reviews with the Colton location I know that will be a waste of time and energy. Ashley won't stand behind their commitment to their products. I received my table today. But because it's from Ashley's I don't even want it now after waiting two months and I will never ever never EVER! step foot in one again. And I'll make sure I tell EVERYONE I know to never shop here

Talk about terrible customer service. Warehouse employees great....showroom sales people are all for you. Once they get the sale, that's it. You're nothing. Showroom admin and customer service employees....yikes! They don't give a rats...and it shows!! Wake up people....we pay your salary!!! Go to Bob's Furniture or Jerome's. They know customer service.
Took a little over an hour drive to find out that my sales person didn’t make me an appointment on the correct day i was disappointed , but luckily i was helped out by Martin which I cannot thank enough despite the situation he was so helpful and got me and and out in no time. Also thanks to a worker by the name of chuy who helped me load up my items into my truck and got everything to fit. Overall my trip to the warehouse was a success 👍
