Ashley Store Concord, CA

Wonderful experience with Sam @ the Concord location. He listened to what I wanted. Showed me a number of choices. We found what I was looking for very quickly. He found a discounted price from what was listed on the tag and BOOM the sale was made. Free delivery and installation just make it even better. I was in and out of the store within a half hour. Definitely recommend Ashley Furniture in Concord and Sam!

If you don’t dress like you have money and walk in letting them know you have a budget… the customer service isn’t good. As a customer letting a salesperson know you have a budget, you expect looking at a price range ($200 less or more than the number you give) i don’t want a salesperson to give me a bunch of low end budget couches and telling me “this one is in your price range”, I can do that myself by going in store and seeing the prices without your help. I left and went to other furniture stores in the area and the customer service was way better, for a way better price than Ashley. I’m also almost 100% sure it is the same couch, my wife says it looks and feels identical anyway.

Walked in set to buy two recliners. Not one sales person would look at me. There were about 4 walking around looking like there was nothing to do. If your not dressed like you have money I feel that you will be ignored. Went to another store bought the 2 chairs from them at a cheaper price. Same chairs that I was going to buy at Ashley's.

Steve was fantastic. It was refreshing to experience the low pressure purchase. Great experience. Except those Ipads definitely added about 45min to the purchase process. Frustrating to your staff as well as your customers.

My husband and I went to Ashley’s to look for a sofabed for my home. Sam, a sale representative, helped us find the perfect sofabed for us.

I originally gave 5 stars because i was very happy when i left after selecting and purchasing my original couch. However, This was the most inconvenient experience ever. Ordered a couch and it “didn’t fit” when the delivery team didn’t really try and kept stating they had 14 orders for the day and had to leave. Went to select a different couch and they are way over priced. Got the same “$1700” couch i wanted to for “$1490 at DFW Furniture Warehouse down the street. Ashley also kept saying they were giving me a “40% discount”, how is a $1.799.99 couch still $1,700 with tax??? Go to DFW furniture warehouse instead, they sale most Ashley furniture and give a way better price. It also takes 5-7 business days to get a refund from Ashley which is very inconvenient considering they take it out your account instantly. AND THEY KEPT CALLING ME TO RESCHEDULE THE DELIVERY WHEN I KEPT CANCELING AND REQUESTING A REFUND.

Your representative made everything very simple and explained everything very well. Dee is extremely knowledgeable. I am glad I have his contact, because I plan on shopping for more furniture. I really appreciate the services offered and how easy it is. As an example the white glove delivery is above average, because other companies only offer it for items on the floor. Ashley furniture can offer white glove to for most products even online.

Deliver was smooth, quick, and painless. We have a crazy steep & curved driveway that wouldn't fit the truck. The delivery men carried our new couch all the way up the driveway and into the house, and were just friendly the whole time. Job very well done!

Clean and spacious place to find good pieces !

My family and I had excellent service from sales associate Sam at the Concord CA store. Sam really knew the products/merchandise we were interested in (we did purchase 3 new pieces with Sam’s guidance). As the daughter of a father who years ago owned a furniture store I know the ins and outs of the furniture industry. Thank you Sam and Ashley Furniture. If I wasn’t already retired and was less senior age wise I would consider working for Ashley Company.

I purchased a recliner today at the Concord CA location. I wasn't impressed with the way we were treated. Mike did offer assistants when we came in, but I didnt need any help picking it out, so I know I didn't waste any of their time. I looked around and found a recliner I liked. I wasn't crazy about the color, but the price was exceptionally low. After looking at all my options, I ask Mike if they had the one I liked in stock in the back and Mike said yes they had it in stock, but not for the same low price. I ask if I could buy the display one for the low price, and he said yes but we would have to load it ourselves. That was weird. So now I guess they will bring another one out from stock and put the same clearance tag on that one, which makes no sense to me. While they were processing the paperwork, I ask if all of their customers had to load their own furniture, and they said yes. I have a hard time believing a big company like this makes the customers load their own furniture. I brought my truck hoping to bring it home today, thankfully my son was with me, if I went by myself I guess I would have had to load it by myself. I'm not stupid, they didnt want to waste their time with such a small purchase. I'm pretty sure they work on commission, and $500 recliner on sale for $300 wouldn't amount to much. When Mike took the tag from the recliner to the counter, he slyly ask his colleagues if they were interested in a clearance sale, to which they just smirked. They can kiss my behind, it wasn't my fault they were selling a recliner for such a low price. After waiting for them to figure out how we were going to get it outside, I think it was the manager Mohamed did help put it on a dolly and helped my son load it in the back of my truck. I believe if I had purchased a more expensive recliner, their attitude may have been different. I went in there thinking I was going to spend around $1k for a good recliner, but I saw the deal on this one and couldn't pass it up. I paid cash for the recliner and I was told it had to be the exact amount. Since when does a retail store not give change back. And a simple thank you would have been nice. I'm not a loud, obnoxious, rude person, I'm actually a very nice and polite person. So as to why they had a snotty attitude is beyond me. One more thing that didn't sit right with me was that while we were waiting to finish our transaction, we overheard a couple of the salesmen quietly talking crap about a family that must have been taking too long to pick something out, because they said they are probably just a waste of our time. That was extremely unprofessional, of course they didn't know we could hear them either.

We bought a bed and it was missing parts from the under part of the bed so it wasn't sitting directly on the floor and we couldn't get those missing parts to save our life. I'm not sure why the sales people didn't sell us a box spring with the mattress. We spent a gigantic chunk of change for that bed too!! We went Into the store and tried to talk to someone there and were met with disregard. We called customer service numerous times and they told us they would send the part within 2 to 3 weeks but it was never sent. Instead of using the incomplete board system, we had go out and buy a whole separate box spring from another company because we didn't trust this one anymore. Buyer beware!!!

Terrible customer service, we won’t be going back.

This has been the worst experience buying furniture I’ve ever had anywhere. The salesman lied to us when we were making the purchase and told us that if we got white glove service that they would bring it up to our fifth floor condo.. After waiting for a week, taking a day off of work to wait for the delivery guys I was greeted by three very rude young men who told me that they would not bring it up five flights of stairs. I called Ashley furniture and they were rude as well, not offering any way to fix the issue only telling me that they could not refund my money until they had the couch back from the delivery drivers they had hired. We are now stuck with no couch for the holidays with family In route. If the salesman had been honest to us in the first place and told us that the only way they would bring it up is if it fit in the elevator, we would’ve told them to forget it because there’s no way you’re fitting a chase lounge couch into an elevator. I should’ve known when the salesman told me that they did not make a profit on the couch that he was trying to sell me. I guess lying is just part of what they do at Ashley furniture.. I found a local furniture store (DFW) that will deliver to our condo and said they have had a lot of Ashley’s disgruntled customers come in because of the same issues. I would suggest you don’t waste your time going to Ashley furniture and just go directly to a local store. They’ll treat you much better and actually offer a solution to problems rather than just more problems. Update- Even though they have responded to this review nothing has happened. I have not received my refund nor has anyone emailed me.

The seller was a good person but when I was about to pay, my husband said cash. “The cashier was very rude to us. The way she spoke to us was disrespectful, and she didn’t even look at us when responding.” We went to the concord store

I had an awesome experience at the store today, all thanks to Steve! I was on a mission to find the perfect recliner for my dad as a Christmas surprise, and Steve went above and beyond to help me out. He was super patient, listened to what I was looking for, and showed me a bunch of options that fit the bill. What I really appreciated was that he didn’t just try to sell me the most expensive chair. He genuinely wanted to find something that would be a good fit for my dad. He even let me test out a few different models to get a feel for them. Thanks to Steve, I found the perfect recliner, and I can’t wait to surprise my dad with it on Christmas morning! If you’re looking for a recliner, definitely ask for Steve he’s the best!

I had the pleasure of working with Kaylee, who was very professional and personable. She showed me so many tables and recliners since that’s what I was looking for. I did not find what I wanted, but on the way I ran into a coffee table I absolutely fell in love with. So she wrote it up and out the door we went. I would take a picture, but it doesn’t arrive till mid December.

I like that the sales reps are not aggressive. Our sales rep was Kylee; she was very professional and personable. She showed us many recliners and dining sets since that’s what I told her I was looking for. But at the end, I wound up buying a coffee table I fell in love with.

Ashely Furniture isn’t at all what it seems. Yes they have good customer service. But they fail to tell you all the loop holes when you purchase their items. They sell you in the 5 year warranty that is basically a scam. They make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to even start a claim and the people on the other side of the phone can’t even help you. So don’t ever get the warranty. They fail to tell you that all sales are final before you make your purchase. You can’t return anything you buy! It’s a huge scam so honestly I would never ever buy from them again or ever recommend somebody to their store! Go to Costco instead

Definitely don't but from Ashley Store overall. The staff was nice but the quality is subpar—you are better off buying anywhere else. We bought a couch from them, came defective, they sent a tech to try to repair made it worse!! Now can't even use the couch STAY AWAY and will not be coming back and will encourage people to not shop from them as well

Very Unprofessional. i have purchased a very expensive couch close to $6000 ans have specifically asked for the couch to be installed. The sales guy did confirm the same but when the couch arrived the delivery driver mentioned this is only a doorstep delivery and left the boxes as is outside the house. When i called the customer service they mentioned nothing can be done now as the installation should be requested when this is brought. Mind you the installation is 200 extra. Why on Earth will I not purchase it when I am paying this much for the couch. I made it very easy for the sales person having a hassle free purchase and this is what I get. Never going here again

Absolutely terrible experience with Ashley’s Furniture. We placed an order and they completely messed up our address. No one ever answers the phone, so we had to drive all the way back to the store just to fix their mistake. The manager, David, told us the address was corrected, but come delivery day—nothing showed up. Turns out the address was never actually fixed. We went back to the store again, and David said it was taken care of this time. We rescheduled the delivery for Tuesday, but then we get a message from the delivery company saying it’ll be Thursday instead—and the address is STILL wrong! We’ve called the store multiple times, and not one person has answered. Now we have to go back for a third time just to fix something that should’ve been handled the first time. Completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. I would not recommend buying from this store at all.

Salesman knowledgeable and helpful

The salesman at Ashley - Concord was very knowledgeable regarding the chairs he had available to show me. I was able to sit in several chairs before selecting the one that I ultimately purchased. My selected chair was delivered to me about a week later. Some assembly was required; where I found some parts were more challenging than others. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

Steve made shopping for a comfortable couch a great and non stressful experience for me and my family. I will definitely come back and purchase a whole set.

Good collection, but very poor customer service. It was all good with the visit, ordering process . Some of the items I ordered was backordered. I suggested the Sales person to bring everything in a single trip so they don't have to waste time and energy coming twice. I was supposed to get it delivered today and I called them to check on the status. They simply said it is delayed by few weeks. They could have at the minimum, called me proactively to inform the delay. Also, I called the store and spoke to a gentleman (I don't want to give his name here and create a bad reputation, I have sent the details to the store directly). He didn't care much , as they probably deal with lot of customers and I was probably another one. But for me, I was expecting the store to keep up the date they promised for and at least inform about the delay. Not a pleasant experience and this is easily fixable. Hope they fix the process issue.

Delivery men were early. They were polite and professional. They efficiently delivered and set up the furniture as we requested. They were actually done prior to the official arrival time. Great experience.

The wrong items were sent.

Steven truly is the best. He spent hours helping us buying things that were on clearance and most likely didn’t get a commission because they were on clearance. But he did it with a smile, humor and kindness. He took pride in customer service and truly delivered. When I’m ready to buy more item, I’ll certainly ask for him!

Nice thing all the furniture is nice

I purchased a couch set from Ashley, and after it arrived, I was able to thoroughly assess its quality. Unfortunately, I came to the conclusion that Ashley sells low-quality furniture. After only a few months of use, the couches began to fall apart. I’m very disappointed with the durability and craftsmanship, and I don’t think I’ll ever purchase from Ashley again.

My wife and I walked in with a reasonable idea of a specific couch that we wanted (thanks to a well-placed ad). We were greeted by Steve, who was great from the get-go. He was patient, well-informed, and educated us on all of the features available with our couch. He also explained the warranty and extended warranty and answered all of our questions. I then mentioned that I noticed his badge said he was a sleep specialist and inquired about the mattresses they had. Again, Steven was very knowledgeable about the Tempur-Pedic mattress and different types of adjustable bases. The best part is that Steven never had any of the pushy sales tactics that I have witnessed countless times when browsing or shopping. Instead, he explained, asked questions about what was important to us, and helped us make the right choice based on what we needed, not what he felt his store wanted him to sell. Well, his attention to customer service paid off, not only did we end up buying the couch we had originally intended to, but we also purchased a new mattress, adjustable base, and pillows. I asked to speak to the manager to reiterate what a wonderful experience we had with Steve and I would recommend that others ask for him by name. Kudos to you, sir.

My wife and I recently visited Ashley in Concord, CA a couple of days ago with no intention of purchasing anything-just browsing. We were greeted by Steve, who did a fantastic job of explaining the store layout, products and services without the pushy sales guy tactics often seen elsewhere. After some browsing, we stumbled upon the Isanti dining room set and knew it was perfect for our home. Steve made the entire process enjoyable and simple, solidifying us as Ashley customers for life. If you plan a visit, be sure to track him down!

I have five rooms to furnish and a limited budget, so I was really looking forward to your Labor Day sale. I made a few visits there, looking over so many options, and Erica spent a lot of time with me. She was very patient and informative. I came there on Labor Day and the store was very busy. I decided to leave for dinner and come back later. My car battery died in the meantime, so I wasn’t able to return. I was so disappointed until I got a message from Erica informing me that the sale was extended! I made a purchase today for my living room and am considering a much larger purchase for my family room.

Salespeople are helpful but not overbearing. Communication regarding delivery was good and the delivery people quickly and efficiently got my new sofa unpacked and set up in place. Very happy!

Shopping here was a very good experience. The staff is very professional and friendly. I was able to get everything I needed. I wish they had more of the online stuff in the stores my sales rep however try juggling three customers at once, which wasn’t a good idea. It took a lot longer than I expected, but I was able to find some items that I would’ve missed otherwise.

Ashley uses quality furniture. The designer gave excellent suggestions. They also came back to switch out pieces without being asked.👍

The worst, laziest customers service I've experienced! Shame on them and this establishment.

I wanted to update my review as the experience is getting better. Overall, I was disappointed with the accuracy and delivery time of the order; however, most of the items have been delivered today and the accuracy of the order is correct - the accuracy issue was mainly related to the salesperson in the showroom floor. The delivery guys were very friendly, respectful, and professional. However, they did damage the bunkie board for the mattress I ordered - see attached picture. Overall, great experience purchasing from Ashley's Furniture and I'm glad I chose Ashley's. Would it be possible to get the bunkie board replaced since it was damaged during delivery and installation?

The Ashley Store in Concord that I went to was great and had amazing quality furniture which I purchased. The two couches that were on display were on sale the manager Mike was very helpful and friendly. I was very happy with the price and definitely got a great deal I recommend for people to go to the Ashley Store and see the variety of different styles of quality furniture in my opinion has good value and price. I found a place that I can buy furniture in the future and go to without having to pay overpriced furniture.Thanks Ashley Store

I was told returns could only be made for online purchases and that in store purchases you could not return. Here's my story- I purchased this $2k bed frame from Ashley in store 4 or so months ago. I spent hours in the store purchasing various items and asking lots of questions to confirm that my already owned adjustable bed would fit within the modeled frame that was in the store. This was my first time buying a frame for an adjustable mattress so logistically I wasn't sure of the details of how it would work. I was assured by my sales guy and his sales partner that I could use an adjustable mattress with this bed frame , which is partially true you can but it looks like the picture I've attached. What they didn't tell me is that I was purchasing a platform frame that would require the adjustable base to sit on top of a platform making it ridiculously high. So high that I need a step to get onto my bed. What's even more disturbing is that I have a toddler and a new baby on the way that can no longer co sleep with me because of how dangerous this setup is for kids. I fear if they fall off the bed they would really hurt themselves On the day of delivery Ashley wouldn't remove the item from my home after setup and claimed they would bring out a tech. Then the tech calls and says there’s nothing she can do to fix it so no need to come out and to call customer service.I called customer service several times after that and they all told me in different ways that they will get back to me but never did. l've even spoken with the store manager who claimed he sent an email to Ashley asking for a solution and he never got back to me. Honestly the whole thing feels like I’ve been scammed and not the type of experience I would expect from a brand like Ashley. Now I'm stuck with a 2k bed that is a hazard and looks a hot mess. I finally just gave up on calling because no one was willing to help, but tonight as l use a step to get on and off my bed at 8 months pregnant with joint pain I'm reminded of how ASHLEY left me and that this review has been well overdue.

I found a couch that I liked. I wanted it the same day but it was at the warehouse. I only bought it because they could deliver it by Monday. 2 hours later I get a call saying it won't be delivered for another 2 weeks. That was not the deal! I could have went to the first store and got it the same day. I'm very pissed off! It's almost like a bait and switch.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD Do not buy from here!!! You would imagine such a big name would be more honest. We bought a $3k sofa and received a wrong one, which they claim they cannot deliver correct one. Then they will try to respond to this post and say they have looked into it and apologize, but all we want is get a refund from day 1! They do a scam and keep saying they'll return your call in 24hrs to push it to their 3 day mark and say it's too late you can't get a refund. SCAM

Come to this place if you want to get ripped off! I wanted to purchase a sectional which had sign saying it was $2799 but the sales rep said that price was from last month and they forgot to change it… so I ask the actual price…$3200 and won’t ship for 2 months. I look on their website and what do I see: $2799. I had to cancel my order after I found that out and the managers were acting like I was getting a deal LOL. Bunch of crooks working here. I saved over $1000 going with a bigger sectional from Costco. DONT SHOP HERE.

Had the best experience at Ashley’s furniture today with sales associate KIM !!! I’m finally in a position to get the furniture I really want and knew I had to go to Ashley’s as I have been in there many times and have seen how beautiful their furniture is. Before coming in I knew I needed two queen sized bedframes for my teenage sons and a dresser. I was greeted by Kim upon walking in and knew just by how kind she was this was who I wanted to help me. I showed her photos of what I was seeing from the website and she pointed me in the right direction said to start looking and told me she would be right over to help me. Immediately I found one of the beds in my price point with the matching dresser ! Love Love Love ! Kim came over and explained everything about the bed and how the whole process works on ordering delivery and set up !!! Then KIM helped me find a gray wood bed frame with headboard to match a dresser that I already had and purchased a couple years back for my son. From beginning to end KIM was amazing!!!! 5 stars for KIM !!!! She chatted with me , laughed with me , listened to everything I was wanting, made great suggestions and made me feel comfortable and confident about my purchase without being pushy !!! I was literally approached by an aggressive sale's person 2.2 seconds after I walked in the door! She gave me a 2 minutes spiel in 30 seconds and then disappeared, never to be seen again to ask if I required assistance or had any questions. The furniture selection was extremely underwhelming and unimpressive. I left after a lap around the store and being ignored by every other sales person on the floor.

I’m so disappointed by Ashley Furniture store in Concord CA. I purchased a sofa sleeper that was not able to go in the room that we wanted. Was too high. All the store representatives including the sales person Leonardo Amilpa who was dishonest with providing information about their return policies (that is illegal in California, checked with a lawyer) and store terms & conditions. Through the delivery guys that pressured me to sign without sawing me what I’m signing for. The store customer service representative Bratt that was very not helpful and not understanding to the situation that they left the sofa in the middle of my house (still in its manufacture’s packaging) and on my second call hang up the phone to me. All I wanted is to return this sofa and take a smaller one that can fit in my hallway to enter the room. But now they refuse my legal right to return this item and get my money back for it! I’m so frustrated and disappointed by their behavior all along, they completely lost me as a customer and lost everyone I know! 😡

The Mrs researched & found the ideal home theater loveseat @ Ashley. Visited the Concord, CA store on 3/6/25. Greeted by Scooter who took us right to it to sit, recline and pretend we're chillin @ home . Scooter checked inventory, offered a couple delivery dates as well as some purchase & protection options. We settled up & it was delivered as promised in under a week. The pre-delivery process was great, almost too many updates but super helpful. When Jose & his crew arrived well within the time window. They were polite, took off their shoes (without being asked to) & carefully delivered & set up the loveseat. Plugged it in, went through the features & they were on their way! Big props to Scooter, Ashley management & the delivery team.

All the items I came in to purchase showed in-store availability online but when I got to the location and showing the staff each item I wanted to purchase they just kept saying I would have to order everything nothing was available in store everything online and they could ring me up in store The staff treated me poorly acting like I should have known none of the items were really going to be there I feel like it's a total bait and switch you see great prices online it says to come on in you can buy it today and then you come in and then if you actually want to bring something home that day it's going to be way more expensive or yeah there's the option of making the sale online with them and waiting 3 weeks for delivery

SCAM ALERT Extremely rude and unprofessional, management does not have a clue of what is going on and they sold me products that were discontinued then kept pushing the delivery date out to stall me. If you try to call the store and speak to customer service no one is available and you'll get a computer. Have been calling for days.. Today I went to see where my order was that I've been waiting for since mid October and had to cancel due to hostility and verbal assault from staff / management. Customer service lady had her boyfriend at work with her and during my conversation with manager both her and her boyfriend started verbally assaulted me. Manager allowed them to get hostile and just sat there. I remained polite and professional, did not raise my voice or curse and was still demanded to leave store as I was trying to retrieve my cancellation info. Asked customer service along with manager for name so I could speak to corporate and they would not give me name or the number to corporate office. Thankfully I took an eight minute video has proof then sent to their corporate office. I canceled my $2,000 order and will never be back. Bring a WITNESS. Come to find out some of the products they sold me were discontinued and coincidentally removed from showroom floor but they kept telling me that my delivery is postponed. In California this is illegal having to pay for a product that you have not received. Also false advertising.

Came in to purchase a couch. We were told that the 60 month 0% financing was not available on our couch and that we had to do the 24 month. Read the back of their price card and it says plain as day "no minimum required". Asked the sales guy about it and was referred to the manager. Manager rolls her eyes and says we'd have to put 30% down. I tell her that's not a problem and now magically the 60 months is on the table. Not that big of a deal but it's not the point.

Very helpful

Ashley furniture is a rip off when it comes to extended warranty claims. They don’t tell you that you need to file a claim within 30 days of the product not working when they sell you the warranty. I suggest not buying their warranty. You spend $6000 on furniture and it’s been only 2 years into it and it starts breaking so when you call and if it’s not within 30 days they will not fix it. Who reads the fine print anyways in the warranty and that’s the excuse they’re giving for not fixing the problem with the furniture.

Incredibly disappointed with the customer service at the Ashley Store in the city of Concord, CA. I bought a bed and mattress. I asked for it to be delivered in the afternoon so I wouldn't lose a day of work. They made me lose my day of work because they made the delivery in the morning. they brought the wrong bed headboard so they made me lost another day of work. Two days after I slept on the mattress I started having body pain so I went to the Ashley Store to change the mattress because the mattress they brought me hurts my body. Now they won't give me a quick or efficient response about when they will change the mattress or return the money I paid. Today was the third time I went inside the store to asked about the exchange of the mattress please understand, the mattress they sold me hurts my body and I need a quick response, either they give me my money back or they will change the mattress. I have been looking for a sectional for months now and thought I would try Ashley’s in Concord. Me and my husband are so glad we waited we had the best customer service in a long time . I came in today he sat with me for over an hour going through The online inventory with me, I ended up not buying anything Not yet at least, but he was so humble. There was plenty of other customers that he could’ve assisted that he could’ve made a sale off of instead he chose to help me because I needed it .. Ashley furniture salesman assured me they would get the oversized chaise into my home after I told him our issues with the door. Delivery guys got there and only tried one half assed try to get it through and just told me it won't fit. I am so disappointed as I really wanted this chair more than you could ever know. Why sell it to me for me to have to wait and then end up returning it?? They want to say they won't be refunding the full delivery fee as well even though nothing was delivered. I'm pretty pissed off.

This was the worst shopping experience of my life. We bought a sectional sofa, a kitchen table, a dining table, 10 chairs, a bed frame, two nightstands, and a TV stand. Everything was great until we made the payment. The salesperson assured us that they would assemble all the items and we wouldn't have to do anything. However, they arrived much later than the scheduled time—we waited four hours. When they finally arrived, the delivery team contradicted what the salesperson said, telling us we had to assemble the TV stand ourselves. We ended up assembling it on our own. Two of the chairs arrived damaged, and one part of the sectional sofa (the armless chair) was stained. We requested replacements. While taking the armless chair for replacement, they also took one of the pillows, claiming they had to take it with them. They promised to return both the armless chair and the pillow together. A week later, two different delivery staff returned with the armless chair but without the pillow. We contacted customer service, who told us to speak with the store. The salesman said we could either wait for a few weeks for the issue to be resolved or drive to the store to pick up the missing pillow ourselves. My husband rightfully said that after paying so much, it wasn't fair for him to drive an hour to pick up the cushion, and that they should send it to us or he won’t recommend Ashley to nobody. In response, the salesperson hung up on him after saying, “Go ahead.” To avoid dragging out the situation, I went to the store myself, tired and upset, to pick up the pillow. I'm pregnant, and this whole moving process is already exhausting. The careless and rude behavior from Ashley's staff added unnecessary stress and frustration. I do not recommend them.

I appreciated the fact that there was absolutely no pressure. I was free to just wander the store at my own pace. There were sales people throughout if I would have had questions but no one hovering. Glad they stay open relatively late, first of all! My first time here and was immediately greeted by Darnell, a fantastic knowledgeable sales rep. He helped me by detailing certain aspects of different leathers and fabrics. This store has a nice selection of furniture to chose from. I ended up purchasing some items because Darnell was so pleasant and caring and professional.

If you're considering purchasing anything from Ashley Store, do yourself a favor and run the other way! This store is all about quick sales and empty promises. They'll happily sell you a warranty, claiming it covers everything under the sun. But the moment you actually need to use it, you'll find yourself caught in a frustrating cycle of deflection and excuses. Ashley Store’s customer service is nothing short of a nightmare. The moment I needed help with a defective product, I was tossed around like a hot potato between Ashley and their service provider, Reguard. Each blamed the other, leaving me stuck with a defective product and no solution in sight. Reguard says it's Ashley's problem, while Ashley points the finger back at Reguard. It's a never-ending blame game where the customer always loses. What’s worse, Ashley seems to have mastered the art of upselling a worthless warranty. They’ll convince you that it’s essential, but when push comes to shove, they won’t lift a finger to stand by their products. It's all about making the sale and squeezing every penny out of you. The product I bought was faulty from the start, and all I got from Ashley was a runaround. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers or their satisfaction. They’re quick to take your money and vanish when it’s time to fulfill their promises. Ashley Store has shown me that they don’t value their customers and will do anything to dodge responsibility. The next time you think about shopping there, remember that their warranty is as good as nonexistent, and their customer service is a complete joke. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. Ashley Store does not deserve your hard-earned money!

LEO WAS THE BEST!!! Extremely informative, funny BUT MOST of all so So SOOOO patient!!! He totally took 2.5hrs explaining which couches was best for our physical needs and for our small livingroom area. Y'all missing out if you don't visit Ashley's furniture in Concord on John Glen Dr. And specifically ask for Leo. Seriously he's the best we've ever encountered. Deserves 1k stars!!! I did not intend to write a review but gave 1 star for the cheap quality products they delivered after taking a huge sum. Within 30 minutes the person replied saying no order is under my name and asked me to email details. I did 6 days ago and no response at all. I have been calling them everyday and no progress in adressing my issue.The bed I purchased broke within 3 weeks and I have escalated the issue enough and they do not care at all. I’ve been dealing with incompetent employees the entire buying experience. I ordered a table for my new home and realized that the table was in high demand which is no problem. The issue at hand is the employees in customer service representative JOHN and manager NEISHYL. First off John is completely responsible for my reactions toward the company. During this time he has lied about the order, spoke negative about his coworkers at the Ashley Store. I was totally disrespected during this interaction. I spoke with the manager neishyl and she apologized profusely. She looked into the issue at hand and gave me clear and concise information about my order. I felt great after and under the impression that everything would work out. Since ordering and speaking to both I’ve had two failed deliveries with no communication in between. The only conversation that was had was a text message confirming my delivery which I confirmed and would be delivered June 8 which failed. The other delivery date was June 14 which also failed. I missed work due to the fact that representatives told me I had to be home to sign for the package. I called today June 15 and NEISHYL kept making excuses being a manager is unacceptable. She offered no remedy and told me it was rescheduled for delivery on June 17 but that was “subject to change” This was totally UNACCEPTABLE and DISRESPECTFUL, wasting my time and losing out on money. I ordered this item on May 25th and it’s been close to a month of not receiving my product. The back breaker is NEISHYL knew this, when previously speaking with her and didn’t inform me via call/text/email stating that it wouldn’t be delivered for the second attempt of June 14. Something needs to change in your organization but rest assure that I will NEVER buy anything from your company EVER AGAIN! You don’t even deserve a 1 star review!

They were incredibly helpful. I can in with an immediate need. My husband had spinal surgery and I needed a recliner for him to sleep in. I needed one I could take away in my van right there and now. They found me one on clearance and loaded it for me! We love this store and will continue using them!

I went to Ashley on a Sunday during MDW. I already knew what I wanted to purchase, but browsed around a bit. When I was ready, the guy at the podium in the front of the store sent over another associate to “help” me. What happened next was one of the rudest sales experiences I’ve ever had. First, he didn’t greet me at all, he just said “follow me”. Then proceeds to weave through a narrow path of furniture. Mind you, I have my infant child in a stroller. So I take the long route and meet him by a register. He proceeds to ask for my last name, zip code, and number - just like that. All without looking at me or engaging AT ALL. I could tell he was flustered and clearly in a rush, so I asked him if he was busy. He then turns to me and says “yeah, I have customers and I don’t want to lose my sale”. First of all, it wasn’t even that busy. Secondly, am I not a customer? He was a short, heavy set, white guy, with a NY accent named MIKE. Thanks to him, Ashley furniture lost this customer for life.

I purchased furniture from this store, and after only three months of minimal use, it was ruined. Despite having bought the warranty, I have been unable to reach anyone at the designated store number for assistance. My advice is to avoid this place and save yourself the frustration and headaches caused by their unresponsiveness and poor quality. Thorough research will reveal numerous cases of people being scammed by this company, with many having to resort to legal action due to the company's abusive practices. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision before purchasing from this store. I wish someone had warned me before I fell into their trap. Good luck. (FYI I made a purchase totaling $3,750.00 in October 2023. Despite numerous attempts over the past five months to utilize the warranty, which cost an additional $499.00, I am still fighting to get the support promised.)

Mike was very helpful and proficient. He did not rush me to make a decision and once I did he created the order for the beautiful rug to be delivered. Very happy with service and product availability.

Sales person was nice. Once they had our money it was all downhill. Delivery guys showed up and JAMMED the couch through the doorway taking off the paint. As I cautioned them to angle it they looked at me blankly and kept going. No one trained them how to get a couch through a doorway. I called the store 4 times and no one answers once you finally get past the robot. Called corporate and they were as useless refusing to get me a manager and then pretended to give me the managers number but it was just the store. Awful awful experience. Avoid the store.

I've purchased a dinette set and a bedroom chair from Ashley within the last 2 months. The dinette set from the Emeryville store and a bedroom chair today from the Concord store. Both experiences was great. They have a large variety of furniture to choose from and the service was good. The sales representatives are great but my only complaint is that there is never enough customer services representatives. Both times I had to wait an inordinate amount of time for assistance.

I went to this location with my dad last week for a new bed, the staff that helped was very nice and helpful with us in the process. My dad purchased my bed and set it up to be delivered yesterday. The bed came and it was all wrong. We ordered a white bed with lights and received a gray bed with no lights. We called the store and nobody answered , which was very disappointing especially since I was really looking forward to the pretty lights that were supposed to be on the headboard. Would give 0 stars if possible for this mistake.

Amazing personnel, selection, and prices! After going to many furniture stores/warehouses my wife and I were exhausted by the low quality and high prices of other retailers. We were fired up after leaving Ashley because they have solid products at good prices!!

Excellent experience with Darnell Carter who helped me on the floor to find exactly what I was looking for. Very attentive and listened well to what I was looking for. Left with what I came fore even better. Very positive experience. I had been in two other Ashley stores recently previously looking for the same item unsuccessfully. My only concerns was that Erica who originally met me and my sister in the store, didn’t give me her full attention and relied on the manager who, wasn’t knowledgeable regarding Ashley’s products; I was just told what I was looking floor wasn’t available. On my way out, Mr Carter happened to come by and asked if was looking for something in particular and he proceeded to pull out his tablet and searched a for the item I came in looking for and by listening, heard that I was really looking for a round table and not rectangular table that was shown in the original ad; same set, same brand, but with the round table I really wanted. That’s customer service at its best. Darnell Carter took that extra step that was needed to further assist in purchasing exactly what I wanted that day. His customer service ethics were the best and I am a satisfied customer.

This has been the most horrible furniture buying experience I have ever had. I purchased a $4k couch a week ago, and I was given a delivery date of 2/27. I spoke with 1 person the Saturday before who confirmed the delivery date. I spoke with another person the day before who again confirmed the delivery date and provided the delivery window of 8 am-12 pm. That window came and went and nothing. When I called the 1-800 #, the person told me her system shows I never picked a delivery date. When I tried calling the actual store, it rings and rings and then hangs up. At this point I will have to go into the store and demand a refund. I will never order anything from them again! The WORST customer experience I've ever had.

I had a great experience. I prefer to take my time to look around myself, and the salespeople were respectful of this. No pressure, and they right there when I had questions. Leo was knowledgeable and professional. He answered my questions candidly and was very thorough. The delivery crew were the most polite and efficient I have ever experienced. They made sure I checked out the sofa bed, had me test it out, and were very cautious and respectful of our home as they moved the large sofa into our modestly sized space. We bought a faux leather sofa sleeper. It looks very nice. Sturdy cushions and well made materials. Customer service at this level for a large company is, sadly, uncommon these days. Ashley was a welcome change. Each and every one of their employees at this store were wonderful.

Ashley concord store was pretty nice like the other stores. I went to buy a Ryversans Dual power recliner and a helpful associate named Thomas assisted me. He was very professional and new his way around the store. I even had a problem with my family's table bought at another Ashley's store and he assisted in that too. A total good customer relation.

Came in to get a couch. The sales rep Bret was incredibly helpful and patient. He showed us all our options and did not push the most expensive choice on us. He explained the difference in materials and even the times the displays had been sitting and how they affect the firmness versus the worn in feeling of the couches. Would recommend coming in and talking to Bret 10 out of 10.

Staff is very polite and helpful; but, the infrastructure to resolve a warranty issue has been/was very difficult and had unnecessary disconnect between the resolving parties. Happy 2024.

Bought a new sofa and was excited. They delivered a new broken sofa. They wanted to send out a tech at a later date to fix it, what?! I’m trying to get them to pick up new broken sofa and deliver a new unbroken sofa! Come on Ashley don’t let this be my first experience with you!

TLDR - no return policy even for in store credit. Go to a store that will work with you. Update: they allowed us to make the exchange. I appreciate that. Warning- there is a zero tolerance return policy. We bought our couch and coffee table together in store with a salesperson. The configuration we purchased of the couch was a "cushion" smaller than the one in the.show room. It turns out that made a huge difference and the coffee table was much too large to use. Our sales person didn't flag this. When we called we would have taken in store credit to get a proper sized table and they whole sale denied it. Even when we sent pictures that it wasn't going to work in the space. I will never shop here again.

This was my second purchase from Ashley in the past week and both experiences were great. Today Steve helped me with the purchase of a rug. He got me in and out of there within 15 minutes as I was pressed for time.
