Great service!

Deaundre took time to help me make the correct choice for my furniture needs. It was my first visit to an Ashley store and I'm glad I did.

Appreciate salesperson Kim's help. Chairs appear to be good. But not received yet.

We went into Ashley just to purchase a bunkie board for our king size bed and wound up purchasing a dining set too. The sales rep Deondre was so helpful, attentive, and thorough. He made the transaction a smooth one.

The Mrs researched & found the ideal home theater loveseat @ Ashley. Visited the Concord, CA store on 3/6/25. Greeted by Scooter who took us right to it to sit, recline and pretend we're chillin @ home . Scooter checked inventory, offered a couple delivery dates as well as some purchase & protection options. We settled up & it was delivered as promised in under a week. The pre-delivery process was great, almost too many updates but super helpful. When Jose & his crew arrived well within the time window. They were polite, took off their shoes (without being asked to) & carefully delivered & set up the loveseat. Plugged it in, went through the features & they were on their way! Big props to Scooter, Ashley management & the delivery team.

Great employees, great service and good options in the store I visited.

All the items I came in to purchase showed in-store availability online but when I got to the location and showing the staff each item I wanted to purchase they just kept saying I would have to order everything nothing was available in store everything online and they could ring me up in store The staff treated me poorly acting like I should have known none of the items were really going to be there I feel like it's a total bait and switch you see great prices online it says to come on in you can buy it today and then you come in and then if you actually want to bring something home that day it's going to be way more expensive or yeah there's the option of making the sale online with them and waiting 3 weeks for delivery

I bought a beautiful dining set from the concord location. Scooter took great care of us and he was very polite and knowledgeable. Delivery went great.

I had great service. I knew what I wanted and it was in stock. I was done and on my way home in 15 minutes. Hopefully I will be happy with my chairs when I get them home.

We had such a great experience shopping at Ashley Concord looking to update our livingroom couches & bedroom set. Kim was amazing and helped us through the entire way. She did not pressure us and answered all questions we had. She made us very comfortable and was a delight to work with. Would highly recommend this store and Kim as the sales associate.

!!!!! WARNING!!!!! SCAM ALERT Extremely rude and unprofessional, management does not have a clue of what is going on and they sold me products that were discontinued then kept pushing the delivery date out to stall me. If you try to call the store and speak to customer service no one is available and you'll get a computer. Have been calling for days.. Today I went to see where my order was that I've been waiting for since mid October and had to cancel due to hostility and verbal assault from staff / management. Customer service lady had her boyfriend at work with her and during my conversation with manager both her and her boyfriend started verbally assaulted me. Manager allowed them to get hostile and just sat there. I remained polite and professional, did not raise my voice or curse and was still demanded to leave store as I was trying to retrieve my cancellation info. Asked customer service along with manager for name so I could speak to corporate and they would not give me name or the number to corporate office. Thankfully I took an eight minute video has proof then sent to their corporate office. I canceled my $2,000 order and will never be back. Bring a WITNESS. Come to find out some of the products they sold me were discontinued and coincidentally removed from showroom floor but they kept telling me that my delivery is postponed. In California this is illegal having to pay for a product that you have not received. Also false advertising.

He was super informative as far as mattresses go and knew how to suggest mattresses based on our specific needs. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable and confident about our purchase. Have items in stock, better delivery date, and install furniture correct the first time. Expedite the time and installer comes out verses having to wait another 2 plus weeks.

Came in to purchase a couch. We were told that the 60 month 0% financing was not available on our couch and that we had to do the 24 month. Read the back of their price card and it says plain as day "no minimum required". Asked the sales guy about it and was referred to the manager. Manager rolls her eyes and says we'd have to put 30% down. I tell her that's not a problem and now magically the 60 months is on the table. Not that big of a deal but it's not the point.

Very helpful

Ashley furniture is a rip off when it comes to extended warranty claims. They don’t tell you that you need to file a claim within 30 days of the product not working when they sell you the warranty. I suggest not buying their warranty. You spend $6000 on furniture and it’s been only 2 years into it and it starts breaking so when you call and if it’s not within 30 days they will not fix it. Who reads the fine print anyways in the warranty and that’s the excuse they’re giving for not fixing the problem with the furniture.

Incredibly disappointed with the customer service at the Ashley Store in the city of Concord, CA. I bought a bed and mattress. I asked for it to be delivered in the afternoon so I wouldn't lose a day of work. They made me lose my day of work because they made the delivery in the morning. they brought the wrong bed headboard so they made me lost another day of work. Two days after I slept on the mattress I started having body pain so I went to the Ashley Store to change the mattress because the mattress they brought me hurts my body. Now they won't give me a quick or efficient response about when they will change the mattress or return the money I paid. Today was the third time I went inside the store to asked about the exchange of the mattress please understand, the mattress they sold me hurts my body and I need a quick response, either they give me my money back or they will change the mattress. Very bad customer service from the managers at Ashley Store.

My boyfriend and I went to Ashley yesterday to buy furniture for our house. Darnell greeted and assisted us. He was very personable, attentive and helpful and did not pressure us into buying anything or buying more expensive items. We saved about $700 in total and were very pleased with the items we selected. This was our first furniture buying experience and Darnell made it easy and enjoyable. We will definitely ask for him the next time we return.

I have been looking for a sectional for months now and thought I would try Ashley’s in Concord. Me and my husband are so glad we waited we had the best customer service in a long time . We were overwhelmed from looking at different places we walked in Ashley’s looking around and this nice gentleman walked up introduced himself that itself was nice. After that I had so much fun picking my stuff out I ended up buying a lot more the prices were so great and the customer service was fantastic. I’m not leaving five stars for the company. I’m leaving a five star review for the young man by the name of Mohammed. If you’re looking to buy furniture and Need a righteous salesperson to do right by you and your family. I recommend him wholeheartedly. I came in today he sat with me for over an hour going through The online inventory with me, I ended up not buying anything Not yet at least, but he was so humble. There was plenty of other customers that he could’ve assisted that he could’ve made a sale off of instead he chose to help me because I needed it .. Humble and very grateful and appreciative Please, if you go in, please make your sale with this guy he truly deserves it ! You’ll see what I mean when you meet him

Ashley furniture salesman assured me they would get the oversized chaise into my home after I told him our issues with the door. Delivery guys got there and only tried one half assed try to get it through and just told me it won't fit. I am so disappointed as I really wanted this chair more than you could ever know. Why sell it to me for me to have to wait and then end up returning it?? They want to say they won't be refunding the full delivery fee as well even though nothing was delivered. I'm pretty pissed off.

Among the sea of furniture in the showroom, we were able to get everything we were looking for and set for delivery on the same day. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. This was the worst shopping experience of my life. We bought a sectional sofa, a kitchen table, a dining table, 10 chairs, a bed frame, two nightstands, and a TV stand. Everything was great until we made the payment. The salesperson assured us that they would assemble all the items and we wouldn't have to do anything. However, they arrived much later than the scheduled time—we waited four hours. When they finally arrived, the delivery team contradicted what the salesperson said, telling us we had to assemble the TV stand ourselves. We ended up assembling it on our own. Two of the chairs arrived damaged, and one part of the sectional sofa (the armless chair) was stained. We requested replacements. While taking the armless chair for replacement, they also took one of the pillows, claiming they had to take it with them. They promised to return both the armless chair and the pillow together. A week later, two different delivery staff returned with the armless chair but without the pillow. We contacted customer service, who told us to speak with the store. The salesman said we could either wait for a few weeks for the issue to be resolved or drive to the store to pick up the missing pillow ourselves. My husband rightfully said that after paying so much, it wasn't fair for him to drive an hour to pick up the cushion, and that they should send it to us or he won’t recommend Ashley to nobody. In response, the salesperson hung up on him after saying, “Go ahead.” To avoid dragging out the situation, I went to the store myself, tired and upset, to pick up the pillow. I'm pregnant, and this whole moving process is already exhausting. The careless and rude behavior from Ashley's staff added unnecessary stress and frustration. I do not recommend them.

We had a great experience buying a new mattress and a side table. Our salesman, Steve Jewell, was fabulous. He took his time to make sure we made a good purchase that met our needs.

My husband and I came in on Labor Day and wanted to get in and out quickly. We knew what we wanted (new sofa and loveseat). Brett was very helpful. Glad they stay open relatively late, first of all! My first time here and was immediately greeted by Darnell, a fantastic knowledgeable sales rep. He helped me by detailing certain aspects of different leathers and fabrics. This store has a nice selection of furniture to chose from. I ended up purchasing some items because Darnell was so pleasant and caring and professional.

They'll happily sell you a warranty, claiming it covers everything under the sun. But the moment you actually need to use it, you'll find yourself caught in a frustrating cycle of deflection and excuses. Ashley Store’s customer service is nothing short of a nightmare. The moment I needed help with a defective product, I was tossed around like a hot potato between Ashley and their service provider, Reguard. Each blamed the other, leaving me stuck with a defective product and no solution in sight. Reguard says it's Ashley's problem, while Ashley points the finger back at Reguard. It's a never-ending blame game where the customer always loses. What’s worse, Ashley seems to have mastered the art of upselling a worthless warranty. They’ll convince you that it’s essential, but when push comes to shove, they won’t lift a finger to stand by their products. It's all about making the sale and squeezing every penny out of you. The product I bought was faulty from the start, and all I got from Ashley was a runaround. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers or their satisfaction. They’re quick to take your money and vanish when it’s time to fulfill their promises. Ashley Store has shown me that they don’t value their customers and will do anything to dodge responsibility. The next time you think about shopping there, remember that their warranty is as good as nonexistent, and their customer service is a complete joke. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. Ashley Store does not deserve your hard-earned money!

I’ve been dealing with incompetent employees the entire buying experience. I ordered a table for my new home and realized that the table was in high demand which is no problem. The issue at hand is the employees in customer service representative JOHN and manager NEISHYL. First off John is completely responsible for my reactions toward the company. During this time he has lied about the order, spoke negative about his coworkers at the Ashley Store. I was totally disrespected during this interaction. I spoke with the manager neishyl and she apologized profusely. She looked into the issue at hand and gave me clear and concise information about my order. I felt great after and under the impression that everything would work out. Since ordering and speaking to both I’ve had two failed deliveries with no communication in between. The only conversation that was had was a text message confirming my delivery which I confirmed and would be delivered June 8 which failed. The other delivery date was June 14 which also failed. I missed work due to the fact that representatives told me I had to be home to sign for the package. I called today June 15 and NEISHYL kept making excuses being a manager is unacceptable. She offered no remedy and told me it was rescheduled for delivery on June 17 but that was “subject to change” This was totally UNACCEPTABLE and DISRESPECTFUL, wasting my time and losing out on money. I ordered this item on May 25th and it’s been close to a month of not receiving my product. The back breaker is NEISHYL knew this, when previously speaking with her and didn’t inform me via call/text/email stating that it wouldn’t be delivered for the second attempt of June 14. Something needs to change in your organization but rest assure that I will NEVER buy anything from your company EVER AGAIN! You don’t even deserve a 1 star review!

I went to Ashley on a Sunday during MDW. I already knew what I wanted to purchase, but browsed around a bit. When I was ready, the guy at the podium in the front of the store sent over another associate to “help” me. What happened next was one of the rudest sales experiences I’ve ever had. First, he didn’t greet me at all, he just said “follow me”. Then proceeds to weave through a narrow path of furniture. Mind you, I have my infant child in a stroller. So I take the long route and meet him by a register. He proceeds to ask for my last name, zip code, and number - just like that. All without looking at me or engaging AT ALL. I could tell he was flustered and clearly in a rush, so I asked him if he was busy. He then turns to me and says “yeah, I have customers and I don’t want to lose my sale”. First of all, it wasn’t even that busy. Secondly, am I not a customer? He was a short, heavy set, white guy, with a NY accent named MIKE. Thanks to him, Ashley furniture lost this customer for life.

Despite having bought the warranty, I have been unable to reach anyone at the designated store number for assistance. My advice is to avoid this place and save yourself the frustration and headaches caused by their unresponsiveness and poor quality. Thorough research will reveal numerous cases of people being scammed by this company, with many having to resort to legal action due to the company's abusive practices. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision before purchasing from this store. I wish someone had warned me before I fell into their trap. Good luck. (FYI I made a purchase totaling $3,750.00 in October 2023. Despite numerous attempts over the past five months to utilize the warranty, which cost an additional $499.00, I am still fighting to get the support promised.)

Sales person was nice. Once they had our money it was all downhill. Delivery guys showed up and JAMMED the couch through the doorway taking off the paint. As I cautioned them to angle it they looked at me blankly and kept going. No one trained them how to get a couch through a doorway. I called the store 4 times and no one answers once you finally get past the robot. Called corporate and they were as useless refusing to get me a manager and then pretended to give me the managers number but it was just the store. Awful awful experience. Avoid the store.

I've purchased a dinette set and a bedroom chair from Ashley within the last 2 months. The dinette set from the Emeryville store and a bedroom chair today from the Concord store. Both experiences was great. They have a large variety of furniture to choose from and the service was good. The sales representatives are great but my only complaint is that there is never enough customer services representatives. Both times I had to wait an inordinate amount of time for assistance.

I went to this location with my dad last week for a new bed, the staff that helped was very nice and helpful with us in the process. My dad purchased my bed and set it up to be delivered yesterday. The bed came and it was all wrong. We ordered a white bed with lights and received a gray bed with no lights. We called the store and nobody answered , which was very disappointing especially since I was really looking forward to the pretty lights that were supposed to be on the headboard. Would give 0 stars if possible for this mistake.

Excellent experience with Darnell Carter who helped me on the floor to find exactly what I was looking for. Very attentive and listened well to what I was looking for. Left with what I came fore even better. Very positive experience. I had been in two other Ashley stores recently previously looking for the same item unsuccessfully. My only concerns was that Erica who originally met me and my sister in the store, didn’t give me her full attention and relied on the manager who, wasn’t knowledgeable regarding Ashley’s products; I was just told what I was looking floor wasn’t available. On my way out, Mr Carter happened to come by and asked if was looking for something in particular and he proceeded to pull out his tablet and searched a for the item I came in looking for and by listening, heard that I was really looking for a round table and not rectangular table that was shown in the original ad; same set, same brand, but with the round table I really wanted. That’s customer service at its best. Darnell Carter took that extra step that was needed to further assist in purchasing exactly what I wanted that day. His customer service ethics were the best and I am a satisfied customer.

This has been the most horrible furniture buying experience I have ever had. I purchased a $4k couch a week ago, and I was given a delivery date of 2/27. I spoke with 1 person the Saturday before who confirmed the delivery date. I spoke with another person the day before who again confirmed the delivery date and provided the delivery window of 8 am-12 pm. That window came and went and nothing. When I called the 1-800 #, the person told me her system shows I never picked a delivery date. When I tried calling the actual store, it rings and rings and then hangs up. At this point I will have to go into the store and demand a refund. I will never order anything from them again! The WORST customer experience I've ever had.

They made sure I checked out the sofa bed, had me test it out, and were very cautious and respectful of our home as they moved the large sofa into our modestly sized space. We bought a faux leather sofa sleeper. It looks very nice. Sturdy cushions and well made materials. Customer service at this level for a large company is, sadly, uncommon these days. Came in to get a couch. The sales rep Bret was incredibly helpful and patient. He showed us all our options and did not push the most expensive choice on us. He explained the difference in materials and even the times the displays had been sitting and how they affect the firmness versus the worn in feeling of the couches. TLDR - no return policy even for in store credit. Go to a store that will work with you. Update: they allowed us to make the exchange. I appreciate that. Warning- there is a zero tolerance return policy. We bought our couch and coffee table together in store with a salesperson. The configuration we purchased of the couch was a "cushion" smaller than the one in the.show room. It turns out that made a huge difference and the coffee table was much too large to use. Our sales person didn't flag this. When we called we would have taken in store credit to get a proper sized table and they whole sale denied it. Even when we sent pictures that it wasn't going to work in the space. I will never shop here again.

Zero stars! Even one star is too much for this company. Five months ago, I bought a sofa and a swivel chair with a 5-year protection plan. I spoke with customer service, the store manager, and, after two visits from an Ashley technician, this is the response I received from Ashley Customer Care via email: " it's just from the use of material, getting lint from your clothes and creating pilling onto the item". Be careful, you have to wear special clothes to use this company's products!!!!!! and this is my answer to your reply : . i don't want send email to ashly any more, because you are know any thing and dont action.

I had a very bad experience buying furniture from Ashley. I bought complete furniture for my new house and found a dining table which is quality.Besides, all the rest is expensive garbage. I can't return anything even if the box is not opened yet ( Ashley policy). Bought a bed with a $550 price tag for $750, but upon delivery, i surprised to find that still need to buy a base of $300. So now it is $1000 to buy a complete bed of a $550 price tag & now I'm stuck. The salesperson didn't tell me anything during the sale. Tried 1 hour but couldn't reach out to the store over the phone. When I went to the store and explained the matter, I did not get polite treatment from them. The scary thing is that once they deliver something, they don't take it back...

My husband and I just purchased a new Tempur-Pedic mattress from Darnell at Ashley’s. He was very knowledgeable about all of the mattresses, friendly and quick with the paperwork process.

The items order were 2 white swivel chairs. The sales person was nice and friendly. The notification of the orders was a bit to much. What I think was funny is I never received notification that one of the chairs was on back order with no ETA. When I tried calling the store the line kept ringing. So I paid for 2 chairs only received one and receiv d numerous notifications of delivery but nothing on the back order so my experience is less than satisfactory.

Steve at the Concord store was awesome. He was very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions and checked in frequently while we made our decision. He was professional, friendly, and very pleasant to talk to. We are very pleased with the sectional and dining room table we chose and Steve definitely helped us make our decision. The “customer service”we received at the Fairfield store that day was the opposite and was so bad we left, so the friendly assistance we got in Concord was refreshing.

At this time buying dresser and adding night stand on a different day for delivery is set. Sales rep completed what he had to do. Waiting now for delivery. Inside store sales an questions were wonderful!

I placed an order to have a recliner delivered in Concord, but since my corporate credit card billing address is different from the delivery address, it wouldn't process. Their manager, David, went above and beyond to get it cleared up, and their salesperson, Thomas, completed the transaction later this evening. What could've been a disaster for me turned out to be a successful experience. Thank you Ashley Team!

I recently purchased two oversized chairs at Ashley in Concord, CA and I could not be more pleased with the experience I had there.I was greeted by Mohammad Norouzi who asked what I was looking for. I so appreciated that when I said I wanted to take a look around - that he allowed me space to go my own way. At some point - I checked in with him as I had questions about a couple of pieces. He had the perfect balance of letting me explore and also checking in on me periodically to provide me information or suggestions as he noticed the types of pieces I gravitated towards. Mohammad also let me know about their warranty when I asked about the durability of the fabrics of the chair I was interested in…but there was absolutely no hard sell. There is a lost art of customer service that Mohammad got right in every way. While upholstery choices might be greater in some other stores - (Ashley’s service model allows for much quicker delivery and good pricing) - the customer service far surpassed the handful of other furniture stores I’ve visited in the past month. In the future I will start my furniture search here.

All of our items arrived when he said they would or earlier and in great condition. Upon arrival to the Concord location I asked to see the Labor Day Specials…bedroom set, regular height dining set and counter height chairs that were on sale and/or clearance. I was told the items were not available in the store on display. After walking around I did find the bedroom set on display in the back of the store. The sales clerk was unaware the item was in the store. The dining set I wanted was not on display but a counter height set was. The counter height chairs on clearance I wanted I was told were no longer available…they were discontinued. I purchased the bedroom set, dining set and matching counter height chairs for my kitchen island.

The young Hispanic gentlemen was very attentive and useful to what we were looking for. He helped us finalize quickly and made the process very smooth. We were able to find the furniture , order it, and get out in about 15 mins.

The greeter insisted the store did not have what your website said was there. I tried to have someone at the desk check the store’s inventory, but she said that could not be done. With some urging, the greeter canvassed the store and declared there was no such item. I then walked through every part of the store myself and found it! (It was a set of 3 square baskets.) I was surprised and dismayed to find I could not purchase them in the store but had to have them shipped. One employee told me they could be shipped back if they were unsatisfactory. Then another said they could not be returned. Most of the staff I interacted seemed to be not at all interested in doing their job. There were maybe only one or two other customers, so I suppose the staff had little inclination to be of service. I did buy finally buy two sets of the baskets I wanted, but I will not shop at Ashley in the future.

This is an upscale store full of very nice furniture. This is not a place for the working stiff to shop. I told one saleslady that I was looking for a kitchen table for around $200. She smirked and said, "That's where our kitchen CHAIR prices begin." For those who have no budget, it is a good place to look at nice furniture.

Ashley Concord Store Brett provided beyond excellent customer service. My husband and I have been searching for a new dinning room. We have had our current one for 7 years as a hand down from a family friend. We walked into 3 different Ashley Stores 2 which we were barely acknowledge, but as soon as we walked in to the Concord store Brett greeted us. After I explained to him what we were looking for he proceded to show us the dinning rooms that fit our criteria and answered ALL of our questions. We found 2 dinning rooms but my husband and I were nor able to agree on one. After doing a walk thru with Brett we decide to keep shopping around. After going to another Ashley store and not finding anything we decided to return the next day to Concord and purchase the dinning room from Brett. We arrived before Bretts start time but he still made sure to help us out. He was again helpful and patiently explain all the different financing options. He helped us thru the paperwork and we happily walked out with a beautiful dinning room. Thank you sooo much Brett will be back soon.

We had to jump through hoops to get issued the refund. Sales manager Anis Ghammashi has the worst customer service. Likes to talk smart to customers and also rudely tossed my receipt back at me. Was very disrespectful and was trying to act like a gangster. This place is ran by punks. On the other hand. The front desk lady was very polite and helpful. I think her name is Olivia. Sales manager should learn how to treat customers from her. I also would never recommend their protection plan. The sales people say it covers everything, but covers nothing. I've tried to make multiple claims, only to hear that nothing is covered.

There is very bad service….

Came looking for my perfect crochet chair and found this adorable high armed velvet cuteness. Customer service was great and it was even delivered earlier than first told.

I placed order#50765060 for bed frame and dresser from Ashley Concord store. When item was delivered last week, I noticed multiple defects in product immediately I inform to delivery person and customer care. customer care told me that we have to send technician to check the issue even I told her I can share the pics but she said no we have to send technician. Technician supposed to come on Wednesday nobody came. I really don't know what's going on. I had very bad experience and still issue not fixed.

I love Ashley! They are so helpful and friendly. I got everything I needed and approved credit in a reasonable amount of time. Beautiful furniture!

Great experience, very good customer service! Thomas Veite was very helpful, he listened, answered all my questions and I was very happy to find and buy the furniture I needed.

They had a great selection on the showroom floor and there were a few pieces I was interested in. The reason I am giving two stars is because I was in that store for at least 30 min. and not once did an employee say hello or at least let me know they worked there. There were only two other customers in the store so it was definatley not because they were busy. I do admit that I am a stickler for customer service, especially when it comes to big purchases. Retailers should keep in mind that with the current state of our economy and the inflated prices consumers are struggling to keep up with a simple hello and a smile really goes a long way.

My sales associate name was Thomas super wonderful took his time he was very very patience unlike the folks at the emeryville store I will never go back there, he is completely understanding and knows exactly what he is doing thank you and I will be back in a couple of weeks to get some more furniture and I will only be looking for Thomas thank you again.

I live in Fairfield I refuse to shop at that location the staff not very helpful so I drove to the Concord location. I received excellent customer service at the Concord location from my sales rep and from the cashiers everyone at this location was very helpful and professional. My sales rep was patient with me and I didn’t feel rushed into buying something that I didn’t want.
