Ashley Store | Concord, CA 94520

I’ve been dealing with incompetent employees the entire buying experience. I ordered a table for my new home and realized that the table was in high demand which is no problem. The issue at hand is the employees in customer service representative JOHN and manager NEISHYL. First off John is completely responsible for my reactions toward the company. During this time he has lied about the order, spoke negative about his coworkers at the Ashley Store. I was totally disrespected during this interaction. I spoke with the manager neishyl and she apologized profusely. She looked into the issue at hand and gave me clear and concise information about my order. I felt great after and under the impression that everything would work out. Since ordering and speaking to both I’ve had two failed deliveries with no communication in between. The only conversation that was had was a text message confirming my delivery which I confirmed and would be delivered June 8 which failed. The other delivery date was June 14 which also failed. I missed work due to the fact that representatives told me I had to be home to sign for the package. I called today June 15 and NEISHYL kept making excuses being a manager is unacceptable. She offered no remedy and told me it was rescheduled for delivery on June 17 but that was “subject to change” This was totally UNACCEPTABLE and DISRESPECTFUL, wasting my time and losing out on money. I ordered this item on May 25th and it’s been close to a month of not receiving my product. The back breaker is NEISHYL knew this, when previously speaking with her and didn’t inform me via call/text/email stating that it wouldn’t be delivered for the second attempt of June 14. Something needs to change in your organization but rest assure that I will NEVER buy anything from your company EVER AGAIN! You don’t even deserve a 1 star review!

They were incredibly helpful. I can in with an immediate need. My husband had spinal surgery and I needed a recliner for him to sleep in. I needed one I could take away in my van right there and now. They found me one on clearance and loaded it for me! We love this store and will continue using them!

I went to Ashley on a Sunday during MDW. I already knew what I wanted to purchase, but browsed around a bit. When I was ready, the guy at the podium in the front of the store sent over another associate to “help” me. What happened next was one of the rudest sales experiences I’ve ever had. First, he didn’t greet me at all, he just said “follow me”. Then proceeds to weave through a narrow path of furniture. Mind you, I have my infant child in a stroller. So I take the long route and meet him by a register. He proceeds to ask for my last name, zip code, and number - just like that. All without looking at me or engaging AT ALL. I could tell he was flustered and clearly in a rush, so I asked him if he was busy. He then turns to me and says “yeah, I have customers and I don’t want to lose my sale”. First of all, it wasn’t even that busy. Secondly, am I not a customer? He was a short, heavy set, white guy, with a NY accent named MIKE. Thanks to him, Ashley furniture lost this customer for life.

Great experience at this Location. We were greeted when we entered the store by Mike. None of the sales associates were pushy. They answered all our questions. Mike was also the one that helped us out and completed our purchase. Very nice guy.

I just wanted to give a giant thank you to Leo for all his patience and knowledge assisting me with purchasing 2 couches. 3 trips back to the store and many, many questions answered later, I finally made my decision and it was all thanks to him.

I purchased furniture from this store, and after only three months of minimal use, it was ruined. Despite having bought the warranty, I have been unable to reach anyone at the designated store number for assistance. My advice is to avoid this place and save yourself the frustration and headaches caused by their unresponsiveness and poor quality. Thorough research will reveal numerous cases of people being scammed by this company, with many having to resort to legal action due to the company's abusive practices. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision before purchasing from this store. I wish someone had warned me before I fell into their trap. Good luck. (FYI I made a purchase totaling $3,750.00 in October 2023. Despite numerous attempts over the past five months to utilize the warranty, which cost an additional $499.00, I am still fighting to get the support promised.)

Mike was very helpful and proficient. He did not rush me to make a decision and once I did he created the order for the beautiful rug to be delivered. Very happy with service and product availability.

Hi although furniture is good and affordable their delivery service not standard. Delivery persons will not connect handles of furniture neither will pickup old mattress although paid recycle fee and mentioned to sales person. Mattress came in a box and was not opened or took away packaging.

Sales person was nice. Once they had our money it was all downhill. Delivery guys showed up and JAMMED the couch through the doorway taking off the paint. As I cautioned them to angle it they looked at me blankly and kept going. No one trained them how to get a couch through a doorway. I called the store 4 times and no one answers once you finally get past the robot. Called corporate and they were as useless refusing to get me a manager and then pretended to give me the managers number but it was just the store. Awful awful experience. Avoid the store.

I've purchased a dinette set and a bedroom chair from Ashley within the last 2 months. The dinette set from the Emeryville store and a bedroom chair today from the Concord store. Both experiences was great. They have a large variety of furniture to choose from and the service was good. The sales representatives are great but my only complaint is that there is never enough customer services representatives. Both times I had to wait an inordinate amount of time for assistance.

I went to this location with my dad last week for a new bed, the staff that helped was very nice and helpful with us in the process. My dad purchased my bed and set it up to be delivered yesterday. The bed came and it was all wrong. We ordered a white bed with lights and received a gray bed with no lights. We called the store and nobody answered , which was very disappointing especially since I was really looking forward to the pretty lights that were supposed to be on the headboard. Would give 0 stars if possible for this mistake.

Amazing personnel, selection, and prices! After going to many furniture stores/warehouses my wife and I were exhausted by the low quality and high prices of other retailers. We were fired up after leaving Ashley because they have solid products at good prices!!

Excellent experience with Darnell Carter who helped me on the floor to find exactly what I was looking for. Very attentive and listened well to what I was looking for. Left with what I came fore even better. Very positive experience. I had been in two other Ashley stores recently previously looking for the same item unsuccessfully. My only concerns was that Erica who originally met me and my sister in the store, didn’t give me her full attention and relied on the manager who, wasn’t knowledgeable regarding Ashley’s products; I was just told what I was looking floor wasn’t available. On my way out, Mr Carter happened to come by and asked if was looking for something in particular and he proceeded to pull out his tablet and searched a for the item I came in looking for and by listening, heard that I was really looking for a round table and not rectangular table that was shown in the original ad; same set, same brand, but with the round table I really wanted. That’s customer service at its best. Darnell Carter took that extra step that was needed to further assist in purchasing exactly what I wanted that day. His customer service ethics were the best and I am a satisfied customer.

Leo - Is an exceptional salesman. He is very knowledgeable and very customer oriented. If I needed to purchase additional items from Ashley he would be my salesman. If your looking to purchase quality items at a very reasonable prices. Ashley is the way to go for your furniture needs. If your Active Duty military retired and a Vet you receive 10% off your total. That's a great insentative.

Generally positive experience, but you seemed understaffed. We had to wait for the salesman for over an hour while he was helping multiple customers.

This has been the most horrible furniture buying experience I have ever had. I purchased a $4k couch a week ago, and I was given a delivery date of 2/27. I spoke with 1 person the Saturday before who confirmed the delivery date. I spoke with another person the day before who again confirmed the delivery date and provided the delivery window of 8 am-12 pm. That window came and went and nothing. When I called the 1-800 #, the person told me her system shows I never picked a delivery date. When I tried calling the actual store, it rings and rings and then hangs up. At this point I will have to go into the store and demand a refund. I will never order anything from them again! The WORST customer experience I've ever had.

I had a great experience. I prefer to take my time to look around myself, and the salespeople were respectful of this. No pressure, and they right there when I had questions. Leo was knowledgeable and professional. He answered my questions candidly and was very thorough. The delivery crew were the most polite and efficient I have ever experienced. They made sure I checked out the sofa bed, had me test it out, and were very cautious and respectful of our home as they moved the large sofa into our modestly sized space. We bought a faux leather sofa sleeper. It looks very nice. Sturdy cushions and well made materials. Customer service at this level for a large company is, sadly, uncommon these days. Ashley was a welcome change. Each and every one of their employees at this store were wonderful.

Ashley concord store was pretty nice like the other stores. I went to buy a Ryversans Dual power recliner and a helpful associate named Thomas assisted me. He was very professional and new his way around the store. I even had a problem with my family's table bought at another Ashley's store and he assisted in that too. A total good customer relation.

Came in to get a couch. The sales rep Bret was incredibly helpful and patient. He showed us all our options and did not push the most expensive choice on us. He explained the difference in materials and even the times the displays had been sitting and how they affect the firmness versus the worn in feeling of the couches. Would recommend coming in and talking to Bret 10 out of 10.

Staff is very polite and helpful; but, the infrastructure to resolve a warranty issue has been/was very difficult and had unnecessary disconnect between the resolving parties. Happy 2024.

TLDR - no return policy even for in store credit. Go to a store that will work with you. Update: they allowed us to make the exchange. I appreciate that. Warning- there is a zero tolerance return policy. We bought our couch and coffee table together in store with a salesperson. The configuration we purchased of the couch was a "cushion" smaller than the one in the.show room. It turns out that made a huge difference and the coffee table was much too large to use. Our sales person didn't flag this. When we called we would have taken in store credit to get a proper sized table and they whole sale denied it. Even when we sent pictures that it wasn't going to work in the space. I will never shop here again.

I have called the Concord store several times and they do not answer. After many rings I was hung up on each time! Great customer service!!!

Zero stars! Even one star is too much for this company. Five months ago, I bought a sofa and a swivel chair with a 5-year protection plan. I spoke with customer service, the store manager, and, after two visits from an Ashley technician, this is the response I received from Ashley Customer Care via email: " it's just from the use of material, getting lint from your clothes and creating pilling onto the item". Be careful, you have to wear special clothes to use this company's products!!!!!! and this is my answer to your reply : . i don't want send email to ashly any more, because you are know any thing and dont action.

I had a very bad experience buying furniture from Ashley. I bought complete furniture for my new house and found a dining table which is quality.Besides, all the rest is expensive garbage. I can't return anything even if the box is not opened yet ( Ashley policy). Bought a bed with a $550 price tag for $750, but upon delivery, i surprised to find that still need to buy a base of $300. So now it is $1000 to buy a complete bed of a $550 price tag & now I'm stuck. The salesperson didn't tell me anything during the sale. Tried 1 hour but couldn't reach out to the store over the phone. When I went to the store and explained the matter, I did not get polite treatment from them. The scary thing is that once they deliver something, they don't take it back...

It’s a spacious, clean, bright store with really great selection of products. The designs are on trend and well made. We weren’t followed around like at other places, which is nice. Once we made our decision on a product we liked, Steve was super helpful and helped us make the purchase and set up delivery. It was a great shopping experience!

i had been to 4 different furniture stores before arriving at ashley furniture in concord, and thomas gave us an amazing sales experience from beginning to end. i never felt pressured by him to go with a more expensive piece or that i had to buy that day, and i received high quality education on each of their products and features. ended up purchasing a couch i was very happy with!

My husband and I just purchased a new Tempur-Pedic mattress from Darnell at Ashley’s. He was very knowledgeable about all of the mattresses, friendly and quick with the paperwork process.

The items order were 2 white swivel chairs. The sales person was nice and friendly. The notification of the orders was a bit to much. What I think was funny is I never received notification that one of the chairs was on back order with no ETA. When I tried calling the store the line kept ringing. So I paid for 2 chairs only received one and receiv d numerous notifications of delivery but nothing on the back order so my experience is less than satisfactory.

Steve at the Concord store was awesome. He was very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions and checked in frequently while we made our decision. He was professional, friendly, and very pleasant to talk to. We are very pleased with the sectional and dining room table we chose and Steve definitely helped us make our decision. The “customer service”we received at the Fairfield store that day was the opposite and was so bad we left, so the friendly assistance we got in Concord was refreshing.

I placed an order to have a recliner delivered in Concord, but since my corporate credit card billing address is different from the delivery address, it wouldn't process. Their manager, David, went above and beyond to get it cleared up, and their salesperson, Thomas, completed the transaction later this evening. After a long wait for months and finally getting one of the most beautiful pieces for my esthetics/massage room in white may I add, it was worth the wait an every penny. My clients love the decor of my spa with this added furniture piece. In fact, I later came back to Ashley and purchased a Tempurpedic bed and pine wood bedroom set. I'm a life client for sure. I recently purchased two oversized chairs at Ashley in Concord, CA and I could not be more pleased with the experience I had there.I was greeted by Mohammad Norouzi who asked what I was looking for. I so appreciated that when I said I wanted to take a look around - that he allowed me space to go my own way. At some point - I checked in with him as I had questions about a couple of pieces. He had the perfect balance of letting me explore and also checking in on me periodically to provide me information or suggestions as he noticed the types of pieces I gravitated towards. Mohammad also let me know about their warranty when I asked about the durability of the fabrics of the chair I was interested in…but there was absolutely no hard sell. There is a lost art of customer service that Mohammad got right in every way. While upholstery choices might be greater in some other stores - (Ashley’s service model allows for much quicker delivery and good pricing) - the customer service far surpassed the handful of other furniture stores I’ve visited in the past month. In the future I will start my furniture search here.

All of our items arrived when he said they would or earlier and in great condition. Upon arrival to the Concord location I asked to see the Labor Day Specials…bedroom set, regular height dining set and counter height chairs that were on sale and/or clearance. I was told the items were not available in the store on display. After walking around I did find the bedroom set on display in the back of the store. The sales clerk was unaware the item was in the store. The dining set I wanted was not on display but a counter height set was. The counter height chairs on clearance I wanted I was told were no longer available…they were discontinued. I purchased the bedroom set, dining set and matching counter height chairs for my kitchen island.

The young Hispanic gentlemen was very attentive and useful to what we were looking for. He helped us finalize quickly and made the process very smooth. We were able to find the furniture , order it, and get out in about 15 mins.

The greeter insisted the store did not have what your website said was there. I tried to have someone at the desk check the store’s inventory, but she said that could not be done. With some urging, the greeter canvassed the store and declared there was no such item. I then walked through every part of the store myself and found it! (It was a set of 3 square baskets.) I was surprised and dismayed to find I could not purchase them in the store but had to have them shipped. One employee told me they could be shipped back if they were unsatisfactory. Then another said they could not be returned. Most of the staff I interacted seemed to be not at all interested in doing their job. There were maybe only one or two other customers, so I suppose the staff had little inclination to be of service. I did buy finally buy two sets of the baskets I wanted, but I will not shop at Ashley in the future.

We had a great experience shopping for our dining set. Our salesman was Steve Jewell and he was wonderful.

This is an upscale store full of very nice furniture. This is not a place for the working stiff to shop. I told one saleslady that I was looking for a kitchen table for around $200. She smirked and said, "That's where our kitchen CHAIR prices begin." For those who have no budget, it is a good place to look at nice furniture.

Ashley Concord Store Brett provided beyond excellent customer service. My husband and I have been searching for a new dinning room. We have had our current one for 7 years as a hand down from a family friend. We walked into 3 different Ashley Stores 2 which we were barely acknowledge, but as soon as we walked in to the Concord store Brett greeted us. After I explained to him what we were looking for he proceded to show us the dinning rooms that fit our criteria and answered ALL of our questions. We found 2 dinning rooms but my husband and I were nor able to agree on one. After doing a walk thru with Brett we decide to keep shopping around. After going to another Ashley store and not finding anything we decided to return the next day to Concord and purchase the dinning room from Brett. We arrived before Bretts start time but he still made sure to help us out. He was again helpful and patiently explain all the different financing options. He helped us thru the paperwork and we happily walked out with a beautiful dinning room. Thank you sooo much Brett will be back soon.

We had to jump through hoops to get issued the refund. Sales manager Anis Ghammashi has the worst customer service. Likes to talk smart to customers and also rudely tossed my receipt back at me. Was very disrespectful and was trying to act like a gangster. This place is ran by punks. On the other hand. The front desk lady was very polite and helpful. I think her name is Olivia. Sales manager should learn how to treat customers from her. I also would never recommend their protection plan. The sales people say it covers everything, but covers nothing. I've tried to make multiple claims, only to hear that nothing is covered.

Came looking for my perfect crochet chair and found this adorable high armed velvet cuteness. Customer service was great and it was even delivered earlier than first told.

I placed order#50765060 for bed frame and dresser from Ashley Concord store. When item was delivered last week, I noticed multiple defects in product immediately I inform to delivery person and customer care. customer care told me that we have to send technician to check the issue even I told her I can share the pics but she said no we have to send technician. Technician supposed to come on Wednesday nobody came. I really don't know what's going on. I had very bad experience and still issue not fixed.

They had a great selection on the showroom floor and there were a few pieces I was interested in. The reason I am giving two stars is because I was in that store for at least 30 min. and not once did an employee say hello or at least let me know they worked there. There were only two other customers in the store so it was definatley not because they were busy. I do admit that I am a stickler for customer service, especially when it comes to big purchases. Retailers should keep in mind that with the current state of our economy and the inflated prices consumers are struggling to keep up with a simple hello and a smile really goes a long way.

Ashley furniture is the worst store, I bought a sofa and loveseat and they sent me damaged both time while I returned the item the picked up and then send me an email the we don’t accept your return I went to the store in concord the customer service lady was so rude her name is Britney and she even didn’t listen to me and told me leave my desk I asked about manager and no one show up she said my manager is Alicia she is not here come an other day, the sales manager David was there he was the same rude and he shout on me that we have clients we don’t have time to help you, even I was a client too, they kicked me out of store I wrote an email to the store manager Anis Ghamashi and brought his attention but he never responded to me, they didn’t want to pay my money back and then my credit cart company disputed and paid my money. All manager and employees are rude, no customer services, just they like to lie and sales there fake and damaged furniture. Please don’t west your time and your money in this store

Got great help from the service rep I spoke with. She gave me some really good suggestions about a defective product I bought from another vendor who was giving me the run around about repairing it.

We were greeted at the door by William or “Ross” as he went by. He was amazing! Super knowledgeable and helpful. He made it such a pleasure to shop. He went above and beyond, hauling chairs over to couches to match colors. We ended up buying three large pieces because of the great service and prices. I've been waiting three weeks for Ashley to replace the window they busted out during delivery. It is 40 degrees at night and because of Ashley Home, I have had cardboard on my window for three weeks and a freezing family. I have called a total of 62 times and got nowhere. The customer service is non-existent. Literally. Ive left a complaint with the BBB and next step is to stop payment with the bank. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Gianna in particular needs to find another line of work. Come to Ashley, spend $1200 on a couch and get your windows busted out for free! Thanks Ashley Furniture for making my house unsafe for my family to live in because of the freezing air and risk of burglary. Who knew buying a couch could effect both your health and safety? Again, Thanks Ashley. STILL WAITING..........we're a few days from a month now. Legal action to follow.

We visited Ashley home store in Concord today. We found pretty good deals , definitely you will find something that will match your budget . The sales person Mohamed Safi was very helpful .

Our sales associate, Vince, was knowledgeable and friendly and did not put the “hard sell” on us at all. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy every step of the way and explained every bit of our bill thoroughly and to our satisfaction.

I had a complications with the warehouse not having items in stock. Later found out items had been discontinued. Course I was a little upset and went back to the home store. Both sales representative Steve and Vince were great at sorting this out immediately. My request was to have my furniture before Thanksgiving and they made this happen. Vince followed up and was very interactive with that warehouse on making sure this was done. I appreciate the good work and I will continue my business in the future at Concord Ashley.

Overcharged me didn't process my refund correctly gave me the wrong size pieces a 3 week process with refund and pick up the wrong pieces

Furniture is good but the sales process and customer service when they inevitably screw up your order is horrible. If you want to avoid a headache, find furniture elsewhere.

Brett was a very helpful salesman. He took his time with me, and really worked to help me find the right recliner to try and relieve the chronic pain in my low back. He was so considerate he even thought about solutions that were also a better fit for my height (I'm 5' 2"). I never thought it would be possible to have a chair where my feet would touch the ground. I highly recommend Brett at Ashley Home Store in Concord for a salesman who treats you like an individual and not a commodity.

I wish if I can give that store 0 star . I buy a dinning table from this store. they show me really nice dinning table at store but when they delivered to my house it was totally different. So I call right away to customer care they said store material is always different than delivery products I said wow . But I didn’t like this table at all after one month everyday they make new excuses finally they sent technician and they said technician said it’s normal. Finally they hardly refused to returned my table. Unfortunately I have to throw this table to garbage . Because this store doesn’t know how to take care of customers they don’t care about your money also . Store manager and their salesman has very nice behavior till you are in store . When you pay and found anything wrong in your product and want to return them see how these people change their behavior. I never seen this kind of horrible service in my life . Very disappointed

This is my second time buying from Ashley but my second time proved to be the worst experience ever! It took almost a YEAR! and until now it is not complete. The staff are not helpful at all and most of the time the blame game is their game face. It is so frustrating that I have to work hard to get all of my furniture delivered...which shouldn't be my responsibility at all!

This place is terrible!!! I got the insurance from them and it has been a nightmare. What they tell you that they cover in the store is not the case and when you do put in a claim they do everything they can not to accept it. I love this store because of the quality of their items but the staff is horrible. The day I visited there was absolutely no women working and about 9-10 salesmen. The men are very forward, abrupt, and pushy with trying to get sales. When not harassing their customers, they all stand around huddled , just staring for their next prey to walk through the door. I ended up purchasing 1 couch based solely on the price and needed assistance putting it in my car. After bringing my car around to the front, I walked back into the store and asked the gentlemen if he could grab someone to help me. He proceeded to ask me 3 times if I paid for the item and “ who did I give my money too”. Obviously, because me telling him 3 times I paid for it and what service associate helped me , and the couch already being set by the door, wasn’t enough. I’d only recommend this place because of the reputation of their furniture. As far as the staff, steer clear. It would be nice to see women employed in the establishment next time

We bought a bed and a mattress there. The quality is good. But what was really surprised us is we waited for the delivery just 3 days. Before that we had bought a sofa in Macy's and we were waiting for the delivery the entire month.

Lovely employees, but a system error took down all the computers. No transactions were possible. I felt bad because they lost a lot of business. But my interactions with employees was fantastic. The store needs serious IT support.

I found what I wanted, was told that is was in stock. THEN was told I could get it delivered on a certain date. The delivery company confirmed a different date, saying they could not deliver on the date i was promised and had a written approval for. SO, I was able to reschedule with the delivery company, but the sale person either fibbed or was misinformed.

This store and staff are very confused. Went back 3 times and ended walking out. I suggest going someplace else as the Manger and staff wasted our time. Never had to work so hard to spend 5k but like I said after delay after delay we ended up leaving. Save time and money and go someplace else. Total disappointment.

Waited nearly an hour to get the attention of a salesperson - I was ready with my choice. Two salesmen responded to my call for help, one said I should go on-line to buy piece I wanted: faster and cheaper. He was right, but then site showed that piece was on backlog, 3-5 months to get it. Ready to leave store in frustration. Finally salesperson named Erica, said she’d be happy to help and in 10 minutes, I was done. You’ve got to improve training on the 6 males disguised as salesmen at this location.

Picked up a few bedroom pieces fairly late on a Sunday with my partner. We were greeted by a very friendly employee named Steve. He immediately made us feel at home, and guided us around the showroom to find the dresser chests and nightstand we were looking for. We took up a LOT of his time, and eventually I realized that we had kept him over an hour past his shift! I'm glad we were able to give this store and Steve the business. He really does take the time to determine what a customer needs, not just what a store might hope to sell you. Good people here, including a manager named David (if I remember correctly). Awaiting delivery on our furniture, so this review only covers the fab service and attention we received in-store.

These stores sucks we order a table since November 2021 and they told us that we suppose to get it by end of December than I call by January n they say that it was latte so they told by the of February it's already April and still I haven't received anything and whe i call they told if I want they just refund my money no effort or any apologies for the delay

First the service was impeccable. Vince helped us as soon as we walked into the door. Asked what we were looking for and immediately found exactly what we described and offered comparable alternatives. He was patient with our questions and stayed with us through the entire experience. We are very pleased with the quality of service this location has to offer. The furniture, as well, is top quality and affordable. We are so excited for our free delivery and set up in the next 4 days! I highly highly recommend asking for Vince to help with your next furniture shopping experience.

Good selections, knowledgeable staff and good prices, but the purchase itself needs streamlining. It required a lot of data entry, checking and re-checking, initialing, signatures and even two people to complete. It took forever! We were simply buying a chair - not a house.

Really one of the worst experiences from Ashley. It’s our bad that we have gone to Ashley Concord. Don’t go there if you’re expecting Furniture delivery on time. We have bad experience right from Day 1. When we have visited the store and booked the furniture, the manager and sales person Victoriya have forced us to go with Furniture protection plan and additional cost for Assembly. The furnitures are 20% cheaper online. But, Victoriya and sales manager informed the sofa will be delivered in 4 - 6 weeks (it was 8 - 14 weeks online) and so have paid additional cost for furniture along with furniture protection plan (which i was not interested). Now, it’s already 11 weeks completed and we have been asked to wait for 5 more weeks. We don’t believe that we’ll be getting our sofa after 5 weeks too. Also, their customer care is really poor. Whenever you call, you hear that there are at least 100+ people waiting in the queue. Online customer care also moves things very slowly. You can’t speak with representative unless you’re going to reach the store directly.

We were looking for a couple of bed side tables/draws found some at Ashley but not what we wanted so we passes and got bad vibe from our sales helper.

Excellent customer service. Muhammed was the sales representative who helped us. He was very patient and he provided all the detailed information that we needed to make an amazing purchase. His supervisor was also very polite and helpful. Really good experience, very much recommended!

My salesman was wonderful and got things done quickly, then we waited about 20 minutes for the manager to okay the transaction. This is too long to wait for a manager who seemed like he was just shuffling papers at another desk.

Ashley is a lovely store with beautiful furniture and accessories.I was delighted to be able to order the four chairs I needed for the kitchen. The only problem is that they cannot be delivered for about four months. Deliveries are delayed everywhere so it's not just there.Two very nice associates placed the order. Got there with an idea of what I wanted and was able to sit on the chairs to find out I need an electric recliner instead of a manual. The lovely associate walked the whole store as I limped along behind. Found an exceptional deal saving $1000. She was also able to assist in referring me to a hauler that picked it up from the store and delivered it and set it up for me. I couldn't of asked for more.

Biggest ripoff ever we bought bedroom furniture the railing for the top dresser drawer fell off. They refused to fix it. The warranty is garbage the people like used car salesmen. Furniture is now 3 years old and falling apart.

Not even sure where to start. Went and bought a couch on labor day, was informed there would be a wait. Understood. Was then told our new couch would be delivered to our on Nov 9th, only to be told that our couch would not be in the warehouse until the 27th, and now I cannot even get any customer service person to answer messages or phone to get an update on my delivery. Went back because husband and I loved our bedroom set. And our Television stand. I wanted a new couch before the holidays. Even with wait times, this is ridiculous.

No pressure, great sales people, great product

I placed my order on July 23 2021 at 11:56, it is October 12 and have only received a partial order waiting on 3 pieces the footboard storage drawers and mirror. I highly recommend that you go somewhere else and you can probably save money and get it sooner had a delivery for October 16th and they just called to postpone it till October 23rd...this is getting so frustrated I wish I never bought a bed from Ashley.

Trying to speak with a person is a test of patience. You're on hold waiting for 20-25 minutes. Can't contact your store directly. Website Ask Ashley doesn't respond. And when your call finally connects, they hang up on you.....not just once but 3 times my call was "disconnected" accidentally. Got my sale reps direct phone number and she never answers or calls me back. Extremely unhappy. One order should have delivered on 9/28. It's 10/16 and no delivery yet. One order was supposed to deliver mid-October. Trying to find out status - on-line nor automated phone service can find my orders. Not worth the savings. I've been trying to contact them for 6 days.

Vincent was absolutely wonderful. His follow up and follow through was outstanding. I love my couch! Because of Vincent, I'm looking to buy a complete bedroom set. His caring and customer service comes right from the heart. I wish more sales associates would have his qualities along with his expertise.

Michael was very helpful and the buying experience was easy. The reason for 3 stars is because set up was horrible. We are missing a leg under the entertainment center, the shelf was installed crooked and the backing was never attached. We love the piece, but it’s so disappointing to have a piece we can’t fully enjoy. Now we have to go through a whole process to get the parts and have a technician come out. Super bummed!

1st time i worked with Alex and he is really good at what he does. i would give him 6 stars if i could. my wife and i got furniture for our bedroom and he got us what we needed, delivered and within our budget all grade A. Went back for the 2nd time because my wife sent me to look for a bedroom for our daughter. this time worked with Vincent and i had the complete opposite experience. i was dissapointed with his interactions with his customers. He is aloof and talks for a long time about something i didn't understand relevance on. He didn't get to know me and what i was looking for and wanted to see a sale. I left and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Vincent went out of his way to make sure I got the tables I needed to match the couch and chair i bought from Ashley. He also followed up with me about my delivery. Vincent provided excellent customer service and genuinely cares about his customers needs.

Not a place to go unless you want to start an arguement with your bf. My bf and I walked in Saturday after lunch and no one greeted us until my bf and I went opposite direction then Vince said hi and told me he would be my salesman. When he found out I wasn’t shopping alone and had my bf with me he was rude to my bf.

I would never go back to this place. We shopped at living spaces and our experience has been great. We bought a new house and thinking about furnitures from Ashley but since we experienced a depressing situation, we decided not to go back to Ashley anymore. Please review my posting together with all the pictures from Ashley terrible quality furnitures, bad delivery with scratches, and wrong items delivered multiple times. I decided to write a review again because we purchased furniture protection plan. However this is what happened; I called them on November 12, 2021 to schedule a tech or representative to check or repair my furniture that have scratches from very beginning of delivery and foam issue from my recliner. They scheduled me November 27, 2021 and nobody show up and call me anything. I’ve been calling Ashley but nobody answer my call especially Ashley store in concord. Now we’re stuck with junk furniture and $4000 more to pay. I don’t know what to do, maybe call California state department of consumer services or atty general’s office to report? Please let me know what to do.

We really liked working with Matt, We had our 2 kids (4yr, and 2 yr old) and he was patient and easy going. He was not pressuring us to buy anything in particular and also told us the other options for payments if we needed to finance it. He also told us about price matching with online sales for some pieces that are from the Ashley home website. We needed to make sure all the pieces would fit in our Livingroom, so we came back a few days later. Matt was not there, but we where able to speak to him on the phone and he told us to go ahead with the purchase even though he was not there. We where helped by Jo Le, he was awesome as well. He did the price match we where looking for and also compared the price for online sale vs on site sale. He finished the transaction quickly and set up an acceptable time table for delivery and assembly. All and all a great experience, thanks!!!

Store only cares for sales I’ve been waiting on a refund for 2 months I’ve called multiple times and was told twice the my order was cancelled but my refund was NOT processed. This store is basically a store that will steal your money if you let , without my checking up on my refund process I would have never been paid I’m actually still waiting now for my refund.

After calling the store and complaining about this, we get told that the color we want is not available which to me was very rude because we ordered the color in store! This store has messed up our orders not once but 3 times! Never again to shop from here. We ended up canceling our order and now have to reach again. So inconvenient and the workers are not apologetic or anything. Horrible horrible place!

To our surprise, they had exactly what we were looking for, and it was on sale at 50% off! So, of course we bought it. My dining room table, bench and chair are broken and I’ve only owned it for 1 1/2 years. I paid for a warranty. Nobody responds through email. I called Ashley and they told me to give them 2 weeks. It’s been 5 weeks and nobody still has gotten back to me. I would not recommend getting their products or wasting your money on a warranty.

Beware! Here are some of the things to keep in mind when buying from Ashley Furniture 1. They are not customer first. They will say whatever you want you to hear, so you can buy from them. Once you sign your life away, you will no longer be special to them 2. Special offers from mattress do not apply at Ashley furniture. For example, temper pedic has a 30 days comfort care. If you do not like your mattress after 30 days, you are able to return or exchange it. If you buy temper pedic directly from Ashley furniture, that comfort care will no longer apply. They will give you the run around until you go away. If you call customer service, they will say that you can return it. But once you open a case, it will get denied for whatever reason 3. Everything in Ashley furniture is not refundable. Once you sign you life away upon receiving the items, that’s it. No refunds. You want to exchange it, forget about it 4. Customer service is a joke. If you have any issues, they will give you the run around! They will tell you to call customer service and deal with corporate. They will pretend to help you, but will never ever call you back. What’s corporate number??? They will never give it to you!!! You will be jumping between the the store and online customer services!!! No one wants to help you!!! They said they will email corporate for you? Ya right! They are just pretending to help you! 5. Sales. There is always sales going on. Do not be pressure to buy the furnitures right away 6. Do your research! The salesman will feed you lies upon lies!!!!! As nothing is written in paper, the blame will fall back upon your own shoulders. Do not believe whatever they say!!! They will tell you whatever you want, just so you can buy it!!! 7. Ashley furniture stores are independently own. If Ashley furniture corporation has one type of promotion, it will not Apply to all stores!!!!! For example, Ashley furniture customer service is located in Florida which is on the eastern side of the US. Whatever rules Ashley furniture has on the eastern side of the US will not Apply to the western side of the US!!! Like? Are we two different counties??? Why do we only have customer services only on the eastern side??? What about the western side who needs help??? 8. Discounts. If you buy a mattress from Ashley furniture to get more discounts on your furniture??? Well, guess what!!! That voids all the potential warranty you may have. Again, this will not be written down but an excused they will tell you. It’s a silently agreement between you and Ashley furniture! 9. Delivery. Do not buy anything if they are not in stock. Due to covid, that out of stock item will take 3 months to arrive. Will they keep you updated? No! They will never ever be the first one to call!! They will let you call them first before they give you the run around. But wait, we have been in the pandemic for over a year? Why haven’t they gotten their act together? 10. Warranty. Don’t even bother in purchasing it. It doesn’t do anything!!!! 11. Research. Look up their stores on Facebook, Yelp, google, etc!!! Read about the stores before buying from Ashley furnitures!!! 12. Sales representative. They will pretend to be your best friend. They will pretend to help you. But they are only after that fat bonuses you gave them after you sign your life away

Matt singlehandedly made this a five-star experience. He knows his business, and is remarkably professional. I'm grateful to him for his time and energy. Otherwise, in all honesty, buying furniture here feels like buying a used car. You're greeted by somebody who wants to follow you around and remind you that everything is on sale. Minutes after wiping off that snake oil, you find something you like, only to realize there is no one - anywhere - to actually help you. So you stroll around some more, and if you're really lucky, you find Matt. At that, pricing is a mystery. Even when it's not. The manager, off somewhere in the distance, has to approve the sales price (which bears no resemblance to the online price), and the delivery price (you don't want the free delivery, because if it's damaged *you* have to drive to Lathrop), and the warranty price (which, somehow makes the entire price cheaper than it would be without it). All of this takes time. Too much time. And too much pain. As I paid, I wasn't quite sure if I was getting furniture or a '78 Pacer. I'm glad we found stuff (loveseat and ottoman) we like. I can't imagine what the transaction would've been like if we hadn't lucked across Matt. I'll be really glad when it gets delivered and we can start using it. And I hope I don't have to do this again for at least a few years.

My experience @ Ashley HomeStore was great, however, it has been almost a month and one item haven't arrived.

sales person was great, but delivery service not so great. I was suppose to receive my thing today. I called for an update and I was told that I would get my delivery on July 15th, something to do with the items not making it onto the delivery truck. Now I i have to wait an entire month because they made an error. not to mention that the person that on the phone was supper rude.

DO NOT BUY BEDS HERE! Staff is great nothing bad to say about the staff. They're all so nice and helpful, just whatever you do buy anything but a bed.

This review is based on Matt. He was extremely busy helping others and was still able to get back to help me and my wife with getting a living room set for the Memorial day sale. Price was good and he tried to make us get an even better deal but the manager wouldn't budge. Not mad at that but Matt went above and beyond to help us save on delivery by helping us load a rental truck we got before the store closed. At the end of the day he helped us sort and load everything in the truck rental and we were able to get everything the same day. This guys deserves all the stars for the great customer service. Been waiting 2 months for delivery of furniture that salesperson said was in stock. Every time the warehouse calls they give a different reason why it can’t be delivered. We have furnished our whole house through Ashley but will never buy anything from here again. They won’t even compensate us the delivery fee for all of their inconvenience. If you need furniture within a reasonable time I recommend going somewhere else

Worst experience. Went to store and inquired about dining table and chairs, rep told us it will be $1700. Later finalized order and total came upto 2600+, rep said earlier he forgot to add item worth of 900. We thought it may happen np and we ordered it. After 1.5 week received partial delivery and guys while delivering drop items on ground from truck. Reported while they were there and promised to pick replace stuff in 2 days. Nobdy came for it, went back to store and again promised to wait 2 more days. Remaining partial delivery promised in writing by 25may. Nothing happened. Went back to store on 28th and requested status. Girl on desk said she is getting lot of complaints and quitted the job and delivery will be after a month and she can’t do anything about it. Manager came in asked to cancel order and to pick stuff. He had no regret of losing customer no apologies for all mess and time waste. Cancelled order and now waiting for $3000+total including warranty.

Delivery was late and when it was delivered it was missing parts.

If I could give them a 0 I would have. I ordered a couch in early February and I was given a delivery date of end of March. Going into the end of May now and I just got a 6th phone call delaying the delivery till June 9th. I am going back to the store to get my money back. The customer service is horrible and when you call you can't even talk to the store. The operator tells you that you must go into the store. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE!

Awful delivery service. 1st delivery time was cancelled due to “truck issues”. Second time the window was between 3pm and 7pm. At 9pm I get a phone call that the truck was arriving in 10min. 30 minutes later, that is 9:30pm, no show and even a phone call. Tried to contact delivery service and voice mail full. Aside that I need the furniture is very frustrating, I had work commitments that I cancelled to wait for this delivery. So no furniture has been delivered yet.

I had a great experience at the Ashley Home Store in Concord, CA. I had the pleasure to work with both Xavier and Taylor, both of whom are great salespeople and take the time to understand your needs and get you all the info you need on any piece of furniture in the store. They walked us through pricing and dimensions on multiple couches and stuck with us until we found one that was in stock and could be delivered on the day we needed it. I would highly recommend this location. Go ask for Xavier or Taylor and they will take care of you.

Bad experience for first time shopper. I ordered dining set with 6 chairs and 1 couch. When I received the delivery only dining table delivered and only 4 chairs came instead 6 chairs that I ordered. No couch received. Contacted Ashley, no help at all to resolve the issues. Local store never pick up their phone and call center wasn't able to help. No communication whatsoever. No status or update.. Had to go down the store to check the status and decided to cancel the couch.

Wednesday, March 31, 2021, I walked into Ashley Home Store just to look around instead a really nice salesperson Mr. Darnell Carter greeted me at the door as me did I have an appointment I said no decide to pop in, I wanted to look around and Mr. Carter took me under his wing and showed me leadership, motivation and most of all integrity which I appreciated. I told him have no furniture tired of sleeping on an air mattress. I knew I need a kitchen table with two chairs, black sofa favorite, bed frames with drawer, mattress that elevated especially when you watch television, plus I know this mattress would give me wonderful fabulous sleep which is important, small chest drawer and a really nice bright colorful rugged. Mr. Carter had patience, very well knowledge of the product, walk me through the whole store made sure I knew all furniture worked sat down type the invoice I really appreciate the customer service I receive today thank you. Kudos go to Ashley Home Store in Concord shoutout to Mr. Darnell Carter will be able to assist you.

Was at Ashley last Sunday and bought a bedroom set for our grandson with the capable help of Tanya Blanck. We are doing new carpet in our bedrooms and decided to give Tanya another visit today and once again was extremely happy with the service that we got from her and other associates.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and the process was very efficient. They have great pricing on quality product. Very pleased.

Purchased a complete suite of furniture to include living room, great room, dining room, and office. Worked with Mike who was a pleasure to deal with. Not pushy at all, answered questions for us via phone as we pondered our purchase, and had all of our paperwork ready when we arrived to finalize the deal. We purchase from Ashley because of the cost to quality comparison. No complaints.

Worse experience ever the store manger is a complete joke . Bought a couch set from this location and bought the protection plan with it which is a complete scam took forever for them to come out and look at my broken chair finally got them to go look at it and try to replace it with a a stained used chair called the store and said they would try to come clean it that is not ok I just want a new chair . Don’t buy from them there awful and service is even worse .

Omgggggg we purchased a bed frame 3 months ago and still have not received it. We spent countless hours on the phone trying to get to someone who knows what the heck is going on and NOTHING. So we had to drive 30 minutes to the store and finally got to talk to a live person but yet STILL they can’t give us answers to what is going on with the order except it’s back ordered! The assistant manager on duty re assured me that the store manager will hear of this and get back to me by the next day via phone to tell me how they’re going to remedy this. It has been 6 days. Still no call. AGAIN. CANT GET A HOLD OF ANY ONE ON THE PHONE! Pretty sure they’re going to have to comp me for gas at this point if the only way to get ANY customer service is by marching down to their store >=/

Don't trust their delivery schedule! They sell products that are unlikely to be manufactured and delivered on time! Also, PARCIAL DELIVERY IS NOT AN OPTION FOR CUSTOMERS! When one item is delayed, your entire order is affected. This is absolutely ridiculous! We are living without furniture for months! My wife has a big physical issue, so this is really painful for her and me! I and my wife bought furniture on 27 Dec, 2021, and we were informed that eta is mid-to late January. In mid-January, we found that they had delayed the delivery date to mid Feb without informing us! Why is it possible not to update the delayed schedule to customer in advance? Today, we found that they delayed it to 6th March. Again, without any notice... We should have bought somewhere else. We are never going to revisit Ashley. Their customer service, internal communication, and suppy chain management are so poor, and we cannot trust them!

I wish I had looked at the reviews before purchasing my kitchen table. I purchased a kitchen table on 1/18/21 from the online store. It was told the table would arrive on 1/26/21. I was called on the 1/19/21 and told the table was not in stock and it would arrive on the 1/29/21. I was called on the 1/21/21 and told the table would arrive on 1/30/21. Meantime, the bench to my table arrived on 1/20/21. So I called today, 1/28/21 to check on the table, because I received a text from Fed Ex today, that the table would arrive today, which made me excited for a brief moment. Then my frustration came back, but it didn't arrive. When I attempt to call customer service after 6p, they were closed. Why have an online store and not have customer service 24/7 is beyond me! Online is 24/7! Then the "chat rep" didn't care about my frustrations that I shared, and told me only the table is scheduled to arrive tomorrow on 1/29/21. The chairs will be another week later on 2/8/21! How do you sit at a table with no chairs! I suppose the bench I received a week ago, that seats two should be suffice, when my table should seat six! In the meantime, I don't have a kitchen table for 3 weeks because I got rid of it, thinking I have another coming in a few days!! Wrong!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! You might get your furniture and you might not. I'm fearful that the table will be damage like those that have posted here so I have tried to cancel the remaining of the order. We will see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully, I can catch FED EX tomorrow when they arrive. If they arrive they can keep the table. I will order elsewhere. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM ASHLEY AGAIN! Hi, On 28th November 2020 My Mom & I Purchased a couch set and a coffee table from Ashleys. We were told it could take up to 4-6 weeks to receive our furniture because of COVID-19 implications, yet, as of Today Jan 26th 2021, I received my 4th delivery cancellation! And now new delivery date is set to 8th of February 2021 with expectations of further delays. Worst Customer Service ever it's been 8 weeks and still counting. Also thank you for shipping Damaged Coffee table even after sending a technician to fix it the Damage is still visible i spoke to customer service and there was no help. This is the 3rd time I am opening up a case for the same order discrepancy. For all the customer who are buying furniture from Ashley's I would recommend not to as their product quality is worst. They'll send you Damage product and to fix the product you have to wait another 2 months for service technician to come fix it and still won't be fixed Also they won't replace the product as per their policy I am attaching some pictures of their product and their customer service response

FALSE PROMISES - 4 MONTHS, NO DELIVERY YET! Mike Liss sold my family false hope as far as expected delivery dates. 1 month is turning into 4 months with no couches, an ear ache from customer service music, and several wasted days of waiting at home for rescheduled deliveries. Originally we purchased on 10/18 in-store, with a guarantee date of 11/30. Mike said "maybe by Thanksgiving", and we took his word on it and the gamble. We PAID CASH, declined the financing, and we still don't have couches 4 months later. On 11/27, we received a voicemail saying our delivery date was delayed until 12/31. AFTER CHRISTMAS?! How did "missing" Thanksgiving turn into "missing" Christmas? Maybe we won't have to sit on the floor to celebrate New Years and be rid of 2020? On 12/28, Anis, a Manager, called to convince us of another guaranteed delivery date for 1/13 since 12/31 was no longer happening. We were upset at this point and he tried keeping us calm with store credit ($500), which we didn't care for but accepted it, since what's another 2 weeks of waiting? It more so felt like a bribe to not cancel our order. We never heard or received a response from Anis again, even after he personally gave us his cell #. On 1/12 and 1/13, we never received a call or email reminder of any delivery status. However, the next morning (1/14) we received a text saying our delivery date was moved to 1/17. Shortly later in the day, we received a phone call that would again push our delivery date out to 1/22. They actually offered us every reschedule if we wanted to accept partial delivery, but we felt more comfortable accepting 1 full delivery due to COVID. On 1/14, we called the store to cancel our order, but "Terry", a Manager, refused to cancel our order after we requested multiple times. He told us to hold off until 1/22 since he "100% Guarantees Delivery", his own words, which he repeated to us. We honestly felt like our money was not going to be given back to us, and we were forced to keep "trying" to accept a delayed delivery for our order. Not sure whether to chance COVID again and go into the store to cancel before then, or take the risk and hopefully it will finally be delivered? At this point we are furious with the way customer service handles our calls, the way Managers keep giving us the run-around, and the fact that we PAID CASH and still don't have our couches 4 months later.

My wife and I purchased a full bedroom set from Ashley home store. We were told 4 to 6 weeks delivery time because of covid. Totally understandable. It has been almost 6 MONTHS and we still have recieved our bedroom set. Every time a delivery date is scheduled we get a call a few weeks later saying not only are they still waiting on certain pieces but that the pieces they had are no longer in the warehouse and they now have to wait to get new ones. Pushing the delivery date back even further. Nobody in the warehouse can give me any information or a guaranteed delivery date. And it's impossible to get a manager from the local store where we purchased it on the phone. Extremely frustrated and unhappy with the whole experience.

Made purchase during thanksgiving and I have no words to express my disappointment. I am still waiting to hear for my complaints and no response yet. One thing for sure, Never again to Ashley. If someone reach me the number of times we reached, I would have been ashmed of myself. They don't really care after the sale. Highly not recommended.

I went to this Ashley store a few months ago. Even in the COVID-19 climate and safety protocols and everything, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I like Ashley for their wide variety of coffee tables. There was this young salesman (Matt), very nice and patient, who helped me place an order for one that I’d found online. Word of advice, go with items that are already in store and you can see them in person. Long story short, when I received the coffee table, it wasn’t exactly as nice and well-crafted as it looked online. After having a technician over to investigate the defect once and couple of calls to the store, Matt and the store sales manager Terry patiently walked me through all possible options. I ended up picking up another coffee table in the store (for which I’m glad because I saw it in person and it’s sturdy) with a super unbelievable crazy price. So, yes it took me a while but they showed that customer satisfaction is important to them. It looks great in my family room.

Do not expect any customer service once you bought your furniture!!!! I bought a sofa set in June. In October the mechanisms to raise the feet broke. For 3 months I have gone back and forth with them! First of all, they rarely even answer the phone. When they do, they promise a technician that never comes, send me parts (the wrong parts I may add) with nobody to install them, and finally when they send a technician (outsourced) he was told they wouldn’t fix it and to call the extended warranty company GBS, which won’t touch it because it is still within the year’s manufacturer’s warranty!!! I am absolutely fuming!! I cannot advise anyone more to just go somewhere else for their furniture. It is low quality rhat is overpriced regardless.

Back in late July (it’s December now for reference) my husband and I picked out a new three piece sectional to be delivered to our home. After three weeks 2/3 of the sofa arrived. We were informed the last piece was on back order - no worries, we were just happy to have even a portion of a couch as we had just moved into a new home. Red flag #1. After a month and a half we get a call to schedule our final piece in OCTOBER. Ok, fine. It’s a pandemic. I get it. The day comes and goes, no delivery. I call to inquire and they say our delivery is for November. Que red flag #2. I said no. It was for the day previous. After some back and forth I’m informed that our sofa is actually discontinued and they were just going to push back the date until we cancelled. Eventually I’m able to discuss my options with a rep at the store who is kind and apologetic. They allow us to come in and pick out another sofa with a hefty discount and a credit on our account. We pick out an even better one than the original and are overall happy about it. We place the order the day before Halloween and are told 4-6 weeks for the delivery. We asked our sales person if we would for sure be able to receive this sofa in that time frame without issues because we were skeptical of how poorly our first issue was handled. He said we would be able to have a smooth process this time. This was red flag #3, as he lied to our faces. I felt satisfied with that and left it alone. Now. Here we are, in December. Our delivery has been pushed back three times since we’ve ordered the second sofa due to “delivery issues”. Today we went into the store to asked questions only to find out the manufacturer hasn’t even made the items! I’m FLOORED. We have been dealing with this issue since July. They sold us two pieces of furniture that aren’t even available? The manager is supposed to call us with an update, but honestly, I have no faith. Any time I’ve called the store and was promised a call back I get nothing...only to have to call and pester them and no one ever knows what I’m talking about. At this point I don’t even know if I want the stupid sofa because it’s been such a nightmare, but I have no faith that they’d refund me in any way for it. I’m so frustrated and disgusted with Ashley furniture. Get it together because this is absurd.

If I could give no stars I would! Today I walked into the store and since its quarantine I had to give my name and phone number which I didn't mind. I started to walk the floor and I noticed no one asked me if I needed help🤔. As I looked around some staff members were on the phone, and some just didn't even acknowledge me at all and stayed away.. upon me leaving there was a women who worked there we made eye contact but she had a please don't talk to me look on her face, but I was like maybe she's jus mad at her fellow co-workers. I ended up asking her about who to talk to about financing and she says which one and told me two financing companies they were affilited with but she had an attitude!So I told her I don't know thats why I'm asking i wanted to talk to someone about financing🙄. And then she walks off and I said nevermind and left! Never again will buy anything or visit this store again!

They don't answer their phone I called 10 times today, no way to leave a message. It just kicks me to corporate who can't help me with a special order to this location. If a manager responds to this and gets a hold of me I will change this review and you will make a $1500 sale. Edit: eventually they answered, but couldn't order what I wanted despite it the couch being branded as "Ashley's".

I'm surprised how cheaply made this is for $2000 (after discounts) of bedroom furniture. I know they will remedy the situation, however I'm now left with excess boxes, styrofoam, and have broken furniture out of the box. Also, the delivery crew didn't arrive in their window. My wife and I were out for the morning and planned to be back for the arrival window. They arrived 2 hours early when we weren't there. They dropped it off with no issues though.

BE CAREFULL! Terrible customer experience.. l waited more than 1 month for a bookcase, they did not deliver on the confirmed date because it was damaged during delivery I did not receive any notification. AFTER 24 hours finally someone picked up the call they agreed to deliver in 1 week!! I had to wait for a week to receive the same damaged and repair piece!!!!! Driver did not want to take it back and told me he was sending someone to change the piece in a 2-days period that was 9 days ago! Call center- Facebook and store is telling me someone will call me l have a case number since a week ago. Be careful they will send you a damage or used piece if they can and you’ll be pay as new!

Very satisfied Customer. This store has a variety of options and selection of furniture that fits your needs and customer service is excellent ! Definitely we will buy again. Team Terry , Anis and Alysia are awesome. Sales people are friendly and helped us choose our need. Anis and Terry are easy to talk to. When we had an issue, we contacted Alysia and she took care of us right away. Alysia values customer service!! Anis is open and direct and spent a lot of time with us during our selection process. It was not easy to match everything so it took us a while to make up our mind. Overall a cool experience inside the store and we would definitely recommend to a friend and families.

This store was nice and clean following Covid-19 restrictions. Moe greeted me upon arrival and asked what I was shopping for. He then helped me look at a couple different options. We walked around which took while for me to make up my mind but he was very patient. He was very knowledgeable and efficient, giving me info on all the finance options and got me to buy more then I had intended to. Overall a pretty stress free shopping experience and Im stratified with my order and I would definitely recommend to a friend :)

Jeff Davis and Terry the sales manager are the worst team to work with if you purchase anything there. I went with my mother to buy a bed and base, was told that the massage and lift came on a full size bed..it was delivered on the 5th of Sept. On the 8th my mother reached out to Mr.Davis because the bed did not have the massage feature, he asked to send a pic of the remote. Once he saw the remote from the photo, he tells her the full does not come with the massage. I go in today, the 16th of Oct to rectify her situation. (My mother is disabled btw). I asked for the store manager because Terry said there was nothing he could do, and because I wanted to go over his head there wasn't anything he could do for me. Terry and Jeff Davis are liars and snakes..please take your business elsewhere

I had to wait for 4hr after I made my decision on my purchase. The salesman couldn’t get anything right after he told me I would get free delivery and I didn’t he said the bedroom set I pick out. I could up the mattress and receive a $700 credit towards a better bed and I didn’t.

If I had the option to give Ashley no stars, then I would do it. Your service is horrible. There was so many mistakes on our delivery and our furniture was damaged!!!!! We bought a bed and the side rails of the bed was not delivered so we had to put our mattress on the floor and sleep on the ground for a month. I will NEVER shop at Ashley again and I will let my family and friends know not to shop there.

Today we went into Ashley furniture in Concord Ca and didn’t feel pressured or bugged by sales associates. When we were ready we were helped by Michael Liss. He was very attentive and extremely helpful. Made our purchase easy. Explained in detail how things were going to happen with the delivery because of the COVID and the slower delivery process. Gave us the opportunity to back if we wanted to. I would highly recommend Michael. Great selection of all furniture. We felt no pressure to purchase. Thank you for a great experience!!!

They have great range of coffee tables. There was a young man (Mat) working there, he was so patient, helpful and nice.

Walked in there for the 1st time looking for a bedroom set and Mike was the one that helped us. He showed us some beds , showed us what the beds come with. And told us about the sales that they had. Really nice helpful person He was. We ended up getting the ashley credit card and order our bedroom set. Would be coming for more furniture and will for sure look out for mike to help us again. We really like this store. A month ago we were there without an appointment, but Jorge C took us anyway and help us to find the bedroom set that we were looking for , he was attentive and most helpful. Today we came to check on the living room furniture, but decided to wait couple of months to make the purchase. Again, Mr Calvillo took the time to talk to us. We will be back soon!

Just bought a power sofa and love seat for a great deal. The salesperson that helped us was Darnell. Darnell was intentive, informative and completely professional just what we needed. He asked us what were we looking for and showed us all options so we can make the best decision. I will refer you to go to Ashley's furniture but if you want an expert to provide you an experience see Darnell.

I had no apoointment the sales rep calkef and got me in. Was unaware of this rule. Got a nee set of furniture, great service and great price. Saved 61 percent.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, I came here looking to make a purchase, the management here doesn’t have any clue how to properly run the store. There were no signs for social distancing, they also didn’t have a line set up so people were basically standing in the door way or outside. Stay away

This has been one of the worst experiences buying furniture I have ever had. They delivered my sectional with electric recliner which was defective and the delivery guys could not make it to work. Also had a 1" sharp cut on the handle cause by delivery guys with the box cutter. We asked them to take it back and bring a new functional one with no cut on it. They called customer service and gave us a phone number to call to have this order corrected. But when we contacted the customer service and the store manager, Mr. Anis Ghammashi, I was told that they will change the electrical component and reupholster the cut at our house at some future time and could take weeks. How can they deliver a defective and cut piece of furniture and think that it is OK to repair it at the customer's house? I refused that option and he told me that I have no other option so I canceled my order.

Darrell met us at the door and walked us through the options on sectional couches. No pressure...just informed options. In the end he got us a great deal through his manager and we are looking forward to our couch being delivered in a few weeks. Great experience.

Our experience at Ashley’s in Concord, CA was ok, although it had the opportunity to be better. When we first got there a few weeks ago, my wife and I were looking for a couch and Jorge Calvillo was our sales associate. Jorge was informative and willing to help us to the point where we would come back to him once a decision has been made as we were not ready to purchase anything until our new home was complete. Fast forward to yesterday, 6/30 as we came back ready to purchase the couch we originally wanted and as we walked in, Jorge was there to greet us. We mentioned he helped us last time and that we were ready to purchase the couch. He told us he’d meet up with us to help. So we walked towards the couch we wanted and waited. A significant amount of time passed and we were still waiting. I went around to look for him and he was not on the floor. I almost wanted to get the first available sales associate to help us, but we felt a sense of loyalty to Jorge since he worked with us so well last time. Luckily another employee noticed me and asked if I needed assistance. I told her and she called for Jorge on the speaker. Another 10-15min passed and he finally came to assist us. He didn’t seem as friendly to help us as the last time, just answered a few questions then escorted us to the cashier’s desk, done and done. We got what we wanted, but not the experience we expected. My wife and I probably won’t be going back to Ashley’s in Concord, CA anytime soon.

Paid $4500 for a living room set. Sales person was great, delivery was great. Three weeks later furniture started squeaking. Called and called customer service...this is where everything becomes VERY NEGATIVE!!! They end up sending a tech out, said he can't fix it and claims to put in for replacement. Two months go by (covid-19) I end up calling to followup. They tell me it's been resolved but there's no resolution entered in system. They end up sending out another tech, he says the same thing! A week later I followup again, they said a tech needs to repair it on site. NO, my house is NOT a repair shop, they refuse to pick it up to fix or replace! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Horrible experience. I ordered a couch set which the delivery guys couldn’t get into my apartment and had to return to the warehouse. They came without another order of coffee table & 2 side tables which wasn’t given to them at the warehouse! I went to the store and was given a new delivery date. I got text messages to confirm delivery up to 2 hours before delivery only to be get a call informing me that the side tables were not ready but they could deliver the coffee table!! What a joke!! I cancelled the entire order and will not be visiting your business any time soon.

Ashly has the WORST customer service & delivery system that I have ever experienced in in my life (I am not a spring chick!). I purchased many living room & dinning area items in Aug. 2019. Delivery was delayed over & over & over. After delivery there were a couple items were lacking for my entertainment center. It was NOT fixed till Feb 2020. Many times they made a delivery date & they canceled on the day of delivery. I am a professional person with a very busy private practice. I have to cancel my schedule & stay home & canceling a delivery on the date of delivery is NOT acceptable. One time the driver came & the item was NOT in his truck. The manager of concord store & area managers are totally useless. They said that they will credit me for my shipping price $250 & $500 for my trouble of staying home & NO delivery happened. There is a problem with TWO island chairs that doesn't swirl & a technician came & said that a piece underneath has to be changed. 3 days ago I received the piece (only one) NO information for who has to come & fix it. Many times I left a message for the area manager & he NEVER returned my call. I can write a book about the the problems I faced with Ashley's furniture. So far I have sent two family members , 3 friends & 2 patients to other furniture stores. As of today June 1st 2020 I have two broken island chairs & no money has been credited to my account as one manager & one area manager promised me to do . I have lost so much business due to inaccurate delivery dates & canceling that that I can't put any price on it. I will NEVER EVER buy any furniture from Ashley's furniture & say if you are interested to go through many many headaches & aggravation then you choose to go to Ashley's furniture. I believe that the management system of the Ashley's furniture, especially concord store in California should be ashamed of the way they have been treating customers. As of today (9 months after my purchase) with two broken chairs in my home NO ONE has attempted to fix them or apologize for their misconduct.

Nice to go shopping again. Bought a recliner to go with our sectional from them. I am satisfied with my purchase. The sales person didn't seem to know the sale that was going on. I was supposed to get free delivery and a $100 gift certificate with my purchase. I called store and spoke with the office manager and she assured me that I would be getting a credit for delivery and a email gift certificate. I haven't seen either one yet. Don't think that I received good customer service.

Went to purchase a Queen mattress came out with a14 piece bedroom set, thanks to the wonderful service of Mr. Terry Williams and Mr. Jeffrey. We will be back to purchase other items and refer our friends and families to them. (Ms. S. Collins & Wayne)

You must have an appointment and then a sales person shows you around; you cant just browse. Also, they take your temperature before you can come in.

I'm only giving one star because I have to. Im so upset with Ashley because we bought a bed with adjustable base and we KNOW it's too firm. Not the same comfort we tried in the store. They WILL NOT exchange it for a softer one. So we have to live with this for the next 10+ years. I'll never buy anything from here again and please make sure you don't either! Buyer beware

My whole family has bought their furniture from Ashley’s... always been good to us, but today despite speaking to multiple customer care agents and a manager... I’m going to assure we no longer do service with them. Compete let down... with absolutely no regard for customer retention. Stay away.

They have a huge selection of furniture items - of everything you could possibly need for your home & more. Their store is nicely setup, making it very easy to help visualize & pick out your items. & to top it off, their entire staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. I was fortunate enough to had been helped by Thomas today (their Manager) & all I gotta say is - he will assist with your shopping needs with love. He’s engaging, very friendly, helpful & attentive. I will definitely be back at Ashley’s in Concord again for all my furniture needs! I would also like to give MUCH credit of my first impression & the start to my Ashley’s addiction to Eric & Tiffany!! Bottomline, I love shopping at Ashley’s!

After doing a bunch of online research at Living Spaces and Wayfair, I couldn't find a comfortable chair that wasn't too big for my space. I ended up looking at Ashley Furniture because of the great prices and comfortable couch my sister bought with them. Boy am I happy I did! They have great options for affordable prices, a variety of sizes of chairs, different color options, and affordable delivery. But that's not why I'm writing this review. Taylor, the salesman who helped me at the Concord location, was awesome and totally made this a fun experience! We talked, we joked, he helped me pick out a suitable color and style of chair that I like! He also helped me stay within my budget, which was a BIG help! Salesman like Taylor are what make these experiences stand out AND what makes us refer more customers!

Ashley furniture is not the place for me I have ordered two full beds set and a table with six chairs but only three of them have a Arrived and then one of the bedrooms it is a missing a mirror to the Desk And they have told me that they will bring the mirror today 30 December but they Said that they didn’t have a truck to bring the things so they will have to bring it in January 5 and I have ordered this December 17.

Some very helpful salesmen and some not so much... Overall easy to work with, but sale process is a little slow. I have gotten some good deals on good quality furniture when they have their sales.

Richard was the best! We were hesitant at first because we are on a tight budget which made the process a bit more challenging but Richard helped us find what we were looking for. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. The whole experience was very pleasant. We have a new house to fill and look forward to meeting with Richard for our next purchase. We had a very good experience in store. We were sold the exact furniture we were looking for at a great price and we're guaranteed a delivery date of the 16th, which we confirmed for the holidays. However, the night before the delivery, after we set up to have our old furniture picked up, we receive a call that the delivery will not be arriving until the 23rd. We called back IMMEDIATELY and when we spoke with the customer service rep on the phone, we received three different stories as to what was happening. First, We had not confirmed the date (this story was dropped after we confirmed this was the first call we had received since our purchase). Next, we had been bumped from the 16th to the 23rd for not responding to the call, even though the voicemail stated delivery was completely unavailable and they would never have been able to deliver on the 16th. Lastly, our items were on backorder and completely unavailable. It is so frustrating to think we were given the earlier date just to get the sale. We were already in love with the furniture, but could have shifted our holiday plans around if we had been met with any honesty from the staff. An absolutely wonderful in store experience ruined by this.

I just want to say thank you to Daniel at Ashleys store in concord. She was the most helpful and competent person i spoke to. I had a tear on a seam on my sofa and she assisted me in getting the whole piece replaced!! I waited months 6 months to be exact for someone at ashleys to help me get this issue resolved and from the first time i spoke to her she was able to find a solution for my family and i. I basically come here for the product, not necessarily the customer experience, but most of the staff is helpful and the showroom is nice and well set up.

From couches, matress, beds, desks, and more, they have lots of different options at different price points. The sales people are helpful, knowledge, but you don't feel pressured to buy. They have great financing too. My only negative is the delivery fee is quite expensive.

+++CAUTION+++ ***IF YOU ARE HEADING OUT TO CONCORD ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE*** In January 2013, I bought furniture (Bedroom set, entertainment center and Living room furniture) from Concord Ashely for 10K+ (Salesperson "Anis"), at that time he sold me protection plan for $550 to cover my furniture for 5 year and told me I will get my money back after 5 years if I don't use it. After 1 year bed started falling apart and I called Concord Ashley, they told me you have protection plan you should call the company, when I called the Protection plan company and they told me it is a manufacturing defect and they cannot do anything about it and I end up fixing myself.. Frustrated After 5 years on 9/1/18, we went to Ashely for the money back and they told me they will not be able to return my $550 because the don't have contract with the Protection Company, after few minutes of argument they agreed to agreed to give me $550 ($100x5 and $50x1) of gift cards. Anis instructed "AG" to give us the gift cards. We got the gift card and left the store. again frustrated. On 11/24, we went to the store again to buy a mattress that is on sale for $562, Salesperson at the front door accompanied me to take to the mattress, and he process the sale and when I give his the gift cards he told you should have told me before and he handed me over to another person at the counter, now again. Finally, they handed me over to "AG" who issued the gift cards on 9/1/18. Now, he told me I cannot use $550 towards promotion. He said you must pay $329 from your pocket, again $500 was my money that Ashley used for more than 5 years and Mattress cost me $879 ($550+329) that was on sale for $562. I am really frustrated from the service and bad furniture I have/had from Concord Ashley, felt robbed and will NEVER EVER step in any of the Ashley stores for in my life, and advise you to choose another store if you are heading to Concord Ashley to buy furniture and save your dollars!! Good deals, good prices and good salesman. Only reason I didn’t do a five star is because we have to wait a week for delivery, but that’s what we get when we wait the weekend before Thanksgiving I guess. Looks like we will be back for when we need more.
