I had a very nice time & service was grand. Yasmin was very patient & not controlling. Even though I told her to go wait on another client, that I would talk to her again before I leave the store. She would not leave. She stayed with me & gave the best support in my selections I am always thankful when I run across people that gives that kind of service.

Sales rep was very friendly and helpful. She gave me space to find what I wanted and didn't follow me around the store, which I appreciated. I ended up purchasing a loveseat and recliner.

We came here one night to check out couches. Patience helped us and told us she would knock off in total $300 and that the pillows come with the couch which is great. Store was closing so she asked if we would like to come the next morning. We told her we would come the next morning so when we got there, we asked about the deal she offered us she said oh let me check ok it’s actually $100 off if you finance for 6 months. Fast forward to today, we got the couch delivered but no pillows. We messaged her and she called me saying that’s a misunderstanding pillows don’t come with that couch and I told her she told us it did. She kept saying it’s a misunderstanding but I told her it’s not a misunderstanding my husband and I heard you say that. please avoid coming here. They try to lie to sell things to you and then don’t like to make things right after they are caught in their lies. And to think I was going to purchase dressers and more furniture from them. Never doing business with Ashley’s furniture again.

This review is primarily for Elizabeth at the El Cajon store who got my warranty approved and I was finally able to replace my damaged couch after two months of getting the runaround from their extended warranty (Reguard) customer service line overseas. I called every week and got nothing except to wait and wait with zero updates. Finally decided to try to talk to someone at the store directly and Elizabeth helped me. I explained the situation, she called Reguard right then, and they told her it was approved. I could not believe it. It was only once I went into the store and did something about it that Reguard decides to approve my warranty and replace my couch. Could’ve been coincidence, but the lesson here is that Elizabeth is awesome, and avoid the extended warranty

Plz don’t spend your money here like I did, last year I spent $7,000 and my couch was $3.000. In only a few months I noticed it was not made well one end piece started sinking in. For this to happen in months of having is unacceptable and poorly made. After contacting them going back n forth with my protection plan that I only bought since the manager there made me feel bad if I didn’t buy it the salesperson would not get commission. So they said it’s a manufacture defect and Ashley had a salesperson come take a look and agreed I needed a new piece I even got a call from Ashley to confirm this. Days later they send an email saying they were not gonna give me a new piece. Very unprofessional and I was very upset and angry calling them complaining having to tell my story 10 times everytime I called. I asked to speak to a manager to help me with this and no one ever cared. Awful customer service and very poorly made sofa that I spend $3,000 on just that. I will never shop here again or recommend. For a company not to care and only care about selling you the furniture well it’s not my fault it’s a manufacture defect they should be the ones to help. Now I am stuck with a couch not even a year old that I am unhappy with.

Manager was really rude. The finance person was really rude. They gave us a hard time because we wanted to pay full in cash, we should have just left based on how we were treated. I had a bad experience because I’m a repeat customer and I could have chosen to give my business somewhere else. On the other hand, Dally helped us out and she was very friendly and helpful.

Shopping at this location was a positive experience, and we have Chase to thank for that. He was so patient with us. He really took the time to provide furniture information (width/depth) to ensure it would fit our space, as well as pricing information options based on the number of pieces we wanted to buy. Chase did a great job of explaining the financing component as well. We can't thank him enough for meeting with us for as long as he did. Needless to say, we found the perfect couches and can't wait for them to be delivered. Thank you, Chase for all your help and PATIENCE!

My partner and I had the best furniture shopping experience at Ashley. I am very particular with what I want hence took a lot of their time. I spent some time searching for the right coffee table today at Ashley Furniture. My guide was Mr. Steve Brown and he was quite helpful. The table that I had found online he pointed out was not as good as another one I was looking at in store. At first I wasn't liking the pullout feature of the one in store but after talking to him I realized it might be good. It pulls closer to you so you can eat on it. Sometimes my husband and I sit together in the kitchen but now when the Padres games are on.its nice to be able sit and eat from your couch while watching the Padres play. If you have hot dogs you almost feel like your really at the games. Anyway thanks Jesus 😊 for making sure everything went smoothly and praying that the delivery will go smoothly as well.amen. I've been trying to exchange my mother mattress that she bought here and it is causing her pain. And they are forcing her to keep the mattress, that is hurting her and can not get sleep, for 30 DAYS!!!!!!! Not even letting find you a new one. This was until the regional manager Scott and the store manager Marie is allowing her to exchange before the 30 days, this is after going to the store talking to them, then calling customer service having a technician come out and calling the store again.

Was looking for rugs but found two metal lamps priced right!!

We came to this store seeking a comfortable sofa after buying one from Wayfair that unfortunatly came poorly made and highly uncomfortable... we were looking for comfort and spacious seating. When we arrived Robert greeted us and tended to our every question and every need. He offered insight and history regarding the styles and complexities of each piece of furniture. He was quick to assist without pressuring us. Walked along side us and then gave us space to try out couches and speak amongst ourselves. We even left to think about it, he warmly bid us adieu and recieved us warmly when we came back. We decided on a lovely sectional that will fit our families needs, and while we worked through the qualifying process for 0% financing, he took the time to show us the ins and outs of the temperpeedoc and purple mattresses for future purchase down the line. Thank you Robwrt and sales manager Marie for hosting a terrific experience for us, and bringing joy back to furniture purchasing. We were a bit upset with the sofa we landed on from Wayfair, and they completely turned the situation around. Also being served by a true patriot and staff that had great affection for God was a HUGE BOOST. They did not disclose any of this until we broached the topic and invited conversation-- they were professional and I can tell will work with ALL variety of clients in a manner that is comfortable and courteous for each client and thier specific needs and diverse dynamics. NEVER get the delivery service, unless you have unlimited time to deal with the extremely inefficient process. They will text you three days before, you answer the automated system confirming the date. Then nothing happens. You call the delivery number, after rescheduling your entire day, just waiting to find out what time. Since the company carelessly didn't send it to you as they should have. Nothing to help. I can reschedule, yet again. No, Ashley furniture some of us work 8-5 (Monday-friday) so we can not take the Wednesday appointment when my last two were on Saturday. Maybe you could deliver on Sundays, or when you said you would deliver, in order to accommodate the customers that keep you in business. There better be a refund happening and unfortunately I won’t get the time that this entire ordeal has cost me. I also wont get back the events and cancellation of my work so i could be here for this delivery. But Ashley doesn't care that I lost money not working so I could get my “ghosted” delivery. Ridiculous! If you, as a company, drop the ball, I as the paying customer jumping through all of your delivery hoops, should not have to bend over and just take the leftover times when I work. Horrible, customer service. Quick solution: create more time slots rather than 4 hour windows, that way working people can ever get their orders. We have to work inorder to purchase and now i have spent countless hours fixing your mistakes. Are you paying me to figure out YOUR delivery system? Nope. So item is going back to store. If i wanted to wait half a month for it i would have bought online.

Do NOT buy furniture from Ashley Furniture Store. I paid an extra $100 for their "No Hassle Delivery" for a dresser and two nightstands to be delivered to my apartment and assembled by the delivery team in my bedroom. This "No Hassle" delivery is a complete joke. The two delivery guys left the furniture in their boxes in the middle of my living room and started to walk out of my apartment. When I told them I paid for the furniture to be assembled, the two delivery men told me it was not their problem and to call the store. They walked out, leaving my furniture unassembled. I contacted the store and a customer service agent created a case for me, in which I was supposed to hear back in 1-2 business days. After 3 business days, I called back to follow up and found that someone had closed the case. When I asked this customer service agent why someone would close the case, he stated the furniture was considered "self-assembly"... I asked the agent, how was I able to pay for assembly if they deemed the furniture self-assembly? He took back what he said and told me he reopened the case. He told me someone would contact me in another 1-2 business days. I told this customer service agent I wanted someone to contact me by the end of the day to set up a time for assembly as I had paid for. He claimed he emailed the delivery team to schedule the assembly of my furniture, but he did not supply me with email confirmation of this. I will be requesting a refund for this so-called "No Hassle Delivery" as the company did not follow through on their promise to assemble the furniture. I will never buy furniture from any Ashley Furniture Store again!

I went in today with my mom to pick out a dresser— and Dally was initially very helpful and she spoke both in English and in Spanish. I know there was a lot of back and forth between me and my mom especially as we discussed things, and I’m sure that can be wearing as a salesperson. However, as I was getting ready to put a down payment on a card, I had pulled out the card I was thinking of using and set it on my card case. I wanted to check one more thing prior completing my decision as to whether or not that was the card I wanted to use. Next thing I know, Dally had taken the card I set on my card case— which I had never handed to her. I told her “no, I can do it” (because I was trying to decide which card to use) and she scanned on the card reader. When she handed it back she told me that I just looked busy so she was trying to “help out”. Ultimately I was going to make the purchase, but I did not like that someone other than myself decided which card I would be paying with— and then rushed me through the rest of the process. There was a moment afterwards where the possibility of rescheduling the delivery date was discussed and I was immediately told “no, the delivery date has already been picked”. It very much came across as, once that card was scanned— that was it. Just move on to the next customer.

I got a my furniture from them and was not even complete a year, 11 months and they all damaged when I called my warranty company they told me to call Ashley because they have to take and action it’s not even a year yet Ashley denied the case and warranty company is denied the case also.

Horrible service, I was sold a mattress that was damaged on the bottom of mattress. I called to speak to management and Angel is the worst. I would never purchase here again. I would not refer anyone to this location. Some people do not need to be in management if they don't know how to talk to customers who are paying their salaries. Terrible customer service. We received multiple phone calls and texts all week to confirm delivery, only to find out the morning of delivery that our stuff wasn’t going to be delivered. We planned our entire day around this, moved everything around to prepare for delivery only to find out an hour before our window that our furniture didn’t arrive and wasn’t on the truck. I was then told they can deliver in 4 days and now will have to take time off work and plan a whole other day around this delivery. Person I spoke to on the phone had zero concern with making it right.

First off I’m 17 years old, but Iwas shopping for my mom quietly, I didn’t ask for help. the store manager made up a policy saying I wasn’t old enough to enter the store? For god sake what kind of made up policy is you have to be 18 to enter a furniture store, I asked kindly for the policy, he refused to show me, I wasn’t doing anything wrong and he asked for my drivers license which I didn’t have on me, I will be taking my business to Bobs, which has the better quality furniture anyways and cheaper and even offer to help my mom decide:)

STAY AWAY FROM BUYING WITH ASHLEYS Horrible furniture I have 2 months with my sofa, love sets and ottoman they told me it was a great material great furniture 2 months and it’s pealing off, I ven purchase a protection plan that doesn’t cover it because “ wear and tear” with only 2 months and barely use it there response purchase a machine to clean it up something that I paid over $2500 for it and that it looks like it’s 3 years old and not even Super disappointed with there furniture, service and protection plan They over sell you the brand and tell you how great it’s there protection plan adding you $500+ on it and it’s a total waist because it doesn’t cover anything For your own good and to save your money stay away from purchasing at Ashley’s

Chase was an amazing sales agent he helped out with all things I needed. For almost a full living room and bedroom set. Was swift and educated on all sales and opportunities I can use for my furnishing needs.

I went in to find a sleeper sofa we told The guy that help us name Chase what we where looking for and told him our concern he then proceeded to show us a couch. He never mention there return policy but he did mention that the movers where just going to bring it through the first door. Even though we told him it was for a bedroom. He still failed to mention “all sales where final” got the couch it was to big called to return the girl that helped me told me she needs to send a request but they have approved two similar returns and refunds so I shouldn’t have a problem. She also mention how if I wasn’t able to get a refund I can get store credit or an exchange. 3 days later Elizabeth called my husband and very rudely told him all sales are final and they can’t do anything and then they told me to call customer care. Customer care told me they can’t do anything it’s up to the store. They had me going in circles no one has helped me now I’m stuck with a couch that the measurements where wrong doesn’t fit my house. They will push you to buy something and then be very rude because they don’t want to help.

Went in to buy a sleeper sofa. The guy then proceeded to just show me one. We then told him we where concern of not fitting and he said all you need is a 32 inch door way which I did. Took the measurements the couch is bigger than the measurements. Then I called to get a return they told me no problem we just need to sent out for approval to not worry they done this before in similar situation. I waited 3 days for someone to tell me it got denied and all sales are final. And that it's my fault for not reading there return policies. They told me to call a number so they can approve it they told me that it's up to the store because they only do online. The store said they can't do it to request a call. It's been a week. The lady I spoke with the first time gave me 3 options refund, exchange, or store credit. Now everyone is telling me all sales are final. they will ignore your concerns just so you can buy something. Then be rude and leave you to deal with it.

They deserve zero star , I bought furniture from them, dining table and coffee table With warranty after a few months I found out the color is fading and the covering is peeling of the furniture, I call Ashley store and I informed them what’s going on with my furniture and I told them about my warranty. They told me to call the customer care after calling customer care they send the technician they came Took a picture and left after that. I’ve been trying to give them a call and nobody respond. I don’t recommend anyone to buy from them or buy their lies warranty, they screaming on everyone for their warranty I had bad experience with them So be caution, everyone don’t fool you about their warranty.

He took us right to the exact location for that and was very professional,knowledgeable,friendly, informative and didn’t try to push us into something we didn’t want. Extremely helpful man. I came here kind of helpless because I had gotten an Amazon purchase delivered to me and it was broken, unfortunately I had already thrown out my couch to make room but luckily when I came to Ashley Furniture, I was presented to the manager who then presented me to Fred E.! We spent two hours in the store. We knew the bed we wanted. We ordered a King Bed with two nightstands. We got passed off to three different sales people while we were there. I specifically told every single one of them I wanted a regular King. The final person ordered a CalKing. We caught that error before it was delivered and fixed it. The bed was delivered today and a leg support was broken. We also purchased a sectional sofa. We ordered the same configuration that was in the store. The person ordered the wrong configuration. We found out upon delivery. Unbelievable waste of time. I have bought new furniture ten times or more. The competency level here is questionable. Triple check everything before you pay!!!!

Wow, had fun shopping there. No pressure. And I had no idea they have a bed that drops your temperature 10 degrees and wait. The base is alexa for white noise , movies and music. Lol and it vibrates if your partner snores. I've obviously had my bed too long. 😆

I'd like to start with saying I've shopped at Ashley's quite a few times in the past . the past couple experiences were not fabulous, but not the worst. This time it is worth a review. My husband and I were looking at purple mattresses online and decided we would find a distributor nearby and try the purple bed out. We tried it. We thought it felt good. We were going to order it online . the salesman at Ashley said why don't you order through us we said "is the warranty the same" ? "do you get the same hundred day guarantee " he said "of course you do" . "It's a purple mattress it's the same," we said we will do it . We receive the bed and the first night sleep was not that great. purple does say to give it 21 days so I gave them 21 days. I still didn't like the bed I thought maybe I'll go with a softer mattress, but still purple brand, I tried to call Ashley's and no one answered the phone. I drove over to Ashley's in El Cajon and tried to find someone to talk to about the situation. It wasn't as easy as the salesman had told me . the person told me there's a committee that has to agree that we can return it, I was a bit confused but I said let me know once the committee has met. I spent $3100 on this and a committee has to meet to make sure that I'm able to even switch it out. It's kind of funny.. so anyhow, no one no one called me back . I tried to call again no one answered. Of course I went in and found a manager his name was Angel he was to call us back and once again he did not and so two weeks later I go in again, and I find Angel there now he says he definitely will call us back this time that he was out sick . Now time is ticking we knew we wanted to try out the mattress before our time was up so that we could exchange it. Again, no . I had went into Ashley's three I finally found someone to help I did have to drive to Ashley's again . The store is empty. There's usually about four or five workers sitting around doing nothing . not one customer in sight. so I figured they could answer the phone if someone called but no . At this point in the store looking at three different people I said none of you know how to answer the phone I don't get it I was on hold for about 40 minutes and I come in and you all are eating chips sitting behind the desk ? so anyway after multiple tries we finally get them to give us the 2nd mattress, the mattress felt the same as the first mattress though . to be honest it's been two weeks and I really don't care for the mattress for us. I do have friends that love their purple mattress, but just not for us , so yesterday I called the store and no one answered Once again . I go into Ashley's. I find the manager Tyler that has been more helpful than the others By far. He says I will start a claim for you once again they have to agree to do this exchange, I go and find a regular bed that would be more to our liking. I let him know to put that on the notes and let me know soon as he figure this out. I get a call from someone at their desk at Ashley's today and she let me know very clearly that they won't be doing anything for us whatsoever. saying that they don't have to exchange it or refund anything. She also let us know that it is what it is as she says "they can't do anything about it " very abruptly I said have Tyler, the manager Call me please, in the meantime, I called purple mattress company. They said of course you have 100 days from the first day of purchase. It doesn't matter if you've already returned it once their policy stands which would make sense it's their product you can advertise on that you'll do this or online etc. that you have 100 day sleep ability and then just because you're selling it at a furniture store, it would change that wouldn't make sense. Like I said, originally we would've just bought it online we paid cash there would've been any benefit If they had told us their policy is there's no exchanges ...we're smart people we would have just bought it online . we

If you like a piece of furniture, make sure to check for the same item on other sites. We paid $1,500 more at Ashley for a sectional. When we realized it was cheaper elsewhere it was only partially price matched for some reason. Never received a call back from the manager, I had to keep on calling. When I finally spoke to the manager, he mentioned that the agent that sold us the sectional said that we wanted the sectional faster and that is why it was more expensive. Which is a lie, we were in no rush. Very disappointed and lesson learned not trust this company giving you the best value.

In store was wonderful, but the only reason I had to go in store was because their website is horrible when I it comes to purchasing. The staff are friendly, and make it easy to get what you need. I was a little annoyed that I had called the store, and the sales person told me that the only way to get the same delivery date as online (after their site wouldn’t work) was to come in. So I came in, and the delivery date was still even later than if I had placed a phone order. Their show floor is nicely arranged though, and it’s easy to pick things out if you want to buy in person.

The salespeople there will follow you like a lost dog around the shop the entire time you are there. The delivery guys were complete jerks to my wife. Refused to help remove the old bed, and even though I was told they would remove the old mattress and haul it away. I called the store in El Cajon, where I made the purchase, and I got a bunch of excuses. I explained to them I please need someone to take this away, I recently had a surgery and I'm unable to lift more than 10lbs. Whoever answered did not give one ish about my plead and said there's nothing he can do... even though the delivery driving jerks left 5 min ago... also they left the old mattress blocking furniture... which again I told them on the phone i can't move it because I just had surgery. Nope I'm stuck with an extra mattress they refused to haul away, and I can't use my couch and struggle to get to my kitchen because of where they left it. Now I have to find someone available to come move it for me. Even though the sales rep told me they would remove the mattress out for me
