I purchased a 3 piece couch set for just over $6000 plus an extended 5 year warranty. The leather started to delaminate on a recliner chair, the recliner became misaligned on the love seat and the couch switch quit responding in the reclined position. I went through Ashley's furniture for manufacturers warranty and was directed to use the extended warranty by Montage sold by Ashley's. Montage advised me that they cover accidental damage not manufacturers defects. They further said they have no service centers in California and would need to research what to do. Ashley's furniture completely disregarded my requests for assistance leaving me with 3 non-functional very expensive pieces of furniture. I don't recommend anyone buy their extended warranty and never purchase the expensive line of furnishings because they don't stand behind the products. They'll say anything to secure their commission and after completely ignore you.

She calmly and patiently helped us find the right furniture based on the input we were giving her. When it came time to talk overall price, I was expecting to start some agonizing negotiation. I cannot recall a time in my life of talking price with a sales person that went so effortlessly, smoothly, and just overall HAPPY. She offered a more than fair deal on bundling multiple items, this is incredibly rare for the imperial valley, and I will be a return customer as long as NATALIE stays employed there. She was respectful, polite, prompt, got to the point, and was never pushy or smug like most sales people. Thank you NATALIE sincerely. Finally don’t have to drive to Yuma or San Diego to get something done.

There was no pressure, the staff was lighthearted and helpful. I believe the manager was aware of the bad experience we had years ago and it seems he tried to be as accommodating as possible. Just to tell you, we went in to buy one bed and left with three! No regrets! Also the movers are really nice! They came earlier than expected so we had only moved one old bed out but still needed to move another out of the other bedroom. We asked if they could come back later at the accorded time unless they wanted to move the bed out for us (joking) they said since it was their last delivery they'd rather help us out. They did it carefully and patiently which we so appreciated. The Ashley corporation should reward stores like these that actually boosts their reputation! So happy! We waited to get “the right” table for our dining room. I had searched many websites and looked at several stores with no luck, until fining this one at Ashley’s. It was perfect for our decor, not fussy or overdone. Grace, our salesperson was very helpful and made it all go smoothly and followed up. Our table arrived early; the delivery men were prompt, very professional and courteous. We’ve had friends over, they’ve commented on a gorgeous it looks... and we haven’t even bought chairs yet! Sales person was excellent but getting the actual furniture is becoming the worst experience ever. This will be the last time I buy from them. They gave me a time frame of 4 to 6wks on a bed frame. It's been 2 months I call and they now tell me it's back ordered. I ask if they can call someone to check on why the delay...which they say no that's theirs nothing they can do... Oh and they don't do cancellations or refunds. I will never recommend this place to anyone

I ordered a couch from the El Centro store and when it got delivered I found that I had ordered the wrong couch. It was a few days after the order has arrived at my home that I was able to get back to the store and asked if there were any way to get the correct style. I spoke to Colby directed me to customer service where I spoke with Melanie. After getting a few details from me Melanie was able to schedule a pick up of the couch that was delivered and then order me the couch that I needed. The service at the actual Ashley furniture store was good, from the sales associate all the way to the management. The prices were a bit high but it is good quality furniture. The only part that I was a bit disappointed was on the time it took them to get my furniture to my home. I was told it would take 2 weeks to 3 weeks at a worst case scenario but it took them 4 weeks. Other than that, everything was good.

Honestly my in-store experience wasn't that bad, it wasn't great by any means but it was ok. I am giving Ashley Furniture 1 star because of their delivery service and I wish I could give them negative stars. The two men that delivered my furniture were late, rude, and idiots. First of all, they never showed during my delivery window and when I finally got in touch with the warehouse they said the truck is running late and they gave me another delivery window....ok, ok I can understand that. Next when they finally got to my home they were very rude right off. They told me they were not setting it up for me, that they could leave it outside or just inside the door and told me "well, you should have paid the extra $80 buck. Huh? Ok so shame on the in-store folks for not offering me set up for $80 but whatever, I can set it up myself. Next they were trying bring it inside my door but the first way they tried it wouldn't fit and they didn't even try moving it a different direction to see if it would fit. Then I suggested they could bring it in through the patio door and they said they didn't have time because Ashley was timing them on their deliveries and they had already spent too much time at my location. So I told them to get on then so they just left the couch outside my door . Then they proceeded to sit in their truck for at least another 15 min before they left. BTW, I got that couch inside my door and set it up by myself within 15 minutes. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again.

My wife and I recently purchased a dining table and bedroom set. Our salesperson informed us we could select different chairs for our dining table. Upon delivery, the chairs were too high, not leaving space beneath the table. When we went back to the store, we were advised that in order to replace the chairs, we would have to pay over $300 in "re-stocking" fees. From a Quality Assurance standpoint, this is completely unacceptable. The salesperson is privy to the dimensions of both the table and chairs. He should have been able to identify this deficiency and provide solutions. Additionally, the store manager in this case made no effort to discuss our quandary with us. Instead, he "scurried" away from us as we approached to discuss the matter. There is also the fact that we did not receive all purchased items upon delivery; there is still an outstanding piece of furniture yet to be delivered. Ending on a high-note, the delivery team was of the utmost professionalism. They were efficient, courteous, hard-working, and represented their department well. Unfortunately, this will not be enough to keep us as customers.
This is the worst store in the imperial valley DONT buy from this store if you do prepare to be beyond disappointed in what you pay for. I don't want to get into details all thier is to say is that they have the worst managers. They hide from people and don't like to confront any complains. The store also has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in the valley and I have been borned and raised here. For such a small community that imperial valley is you'd expect the customer service to be some what decent and the managers to be attending. Again don't buy from this store unless your prepared to deal with headaches. The whole staff aren't really the problem it's the managers. Fursures never going to shop here again and I hope that they are exposed to everyone in the imperial valley and that they know how horrible this store is.
Had to wait over a month to pick up a twin sleigh bed and when it finally came in, it was damaged. I didn't find out til I got it home and started assembling it. I'm currently working with the parent company to get the damaged parts replaced because they don't do refunds. Will not do business with them again.

Very rude and arrogant managers. Was going to post my previous visit complaint earlier but decided to wait until all my furniture was picked up before hand. So I walked in today and talk to them about picking up my mirror which wasn't delivered in the first delivery like it should of and and instead of delivering it and installing it like i paid for i had to go pick it up and install it myself. I also needed to make a payment to the finance company but they were not even there when the store opened. I guess nasty McDonald's was more of a priority. I had to wait on them like always do. So as I was waiting today and I over heard one of the guys reading a complaint to the staff behind counter. I'm assuming he was a manager. Which is totally unprofessional to do in front of a customer. Hope you read this is front of another customer too. So back to my initial complaint. Really has to do with Ashley and her don't bother me attitude and the finance guy who you can stand in front of and will never ask to help you. You have to ask if he can help you. Ashley's attitude I have noticed from the 3 or 4 visits that I have been there not just a one time thing. For the finance guy I stood in front of him for over 10min while he was wacthing and off road video on his cell phone. After waiting patiently I asked if he could help me with making a payment and he said he thought I was being helped already by someone else behind the counter. Nope I'm standing if front you you Mr Finance guy. If you didn't have your phone stuck to your face and just asked if I needed help you would of noticed I wasn't being helped. This store and it's employees are a joke. IF YOU DO GO TO THE STORE BE PREPARED TO DEAL WITH TYPICAL POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SUGGEST YOU TALK TO SALESMAN ARMANDO WHO WAS EXCELLENT AND AT THE COUNTER TALK TO MARIA WHICH IS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.
