Don't walk away from this company, run. We purchased a recliner online, the oversized boothbay recliner. It broke in 1 month. I contacted their warranty department multiple times trying to get help. First they said they order the part and when it arrived in 7 to 10 days, I was to call them back to schedule someone to come repair it. After 14 days, I called back. The part had never even been ordered. This person said they ordered it but it was backordered for 3 months. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They refused. I called back, it still had not been ordered. Asked for a supervisor. Still no. So I said I would contact an attorney. Well Corporate called me back then in 10 minutes. He ordered the part, it came in 3 days. Called to schedule. The soonest appointment was a month away. After a week I was called and told they had a sooner opening in 3 days. I cancelled my plans. Waited all day for the call to give me a time. Not only did they not call, they never showed up. So it was weekend and I had to wait till Monday to call. They said they couldn't get to me and would reschedule. So here we go, another month. Got tired of waiting looked up number and called corporate. She said she'll get back to me before end of the week. Still waiting, one day left. Seriously doubt she'll call back. Went on their website and posted similar reviews. They then emailed me and said they were working on it. . . .you guessed it. Still waiting. Countdown to the call to the attorney has begun.

Second update: the regional manager eventually reached out to offer a special deal. It seems near impossible to purchase furniture over the phone if you want to order to a different billing from Ashley Furniture. It’s unfortunate that their systems don’t support this more because it reflects on their associates as bad customer service. Hopefully they will improve their systems or train their employees better to not accept phone orders that will end up being canceled. Our furniture did arrive with a small amount of damage that is irreparable. This has been such a nightmare but ultimately I’m happy I got the couches I so badly wanted. Don’t expect much from the $200 delivery you are forced to pay for because it is via a third party. The delivery did arrive on time but again, they mishandled our furniture (dropped it off the back of the truck rather than lowering it to the ground) and they also scratched a wall in our new apartment. First Update: They canceled our order for the second time without calling us or communicating at all. I had to reach out to Sherrie via text who indicated that she was aware of the situation because their manager (Kelly) called her to tell her about it that morning. Why she didn't call US, the customers paying for and expecting the furniture NEXT WEEK, is a mystery to me. The weirdest part of this is, they say they can't verify our information with the bank. We called the bank and they never received an inquiry from Ashley Furniture and said that this transaction wouldn't be flagged and it shouldn't be an issue. It's as if this team is trying to make this the worst experience possible and trying to deliver horrible service. This place is SO sketchy, look at their reviews on all platforms and do what I didn't --- BELIEVE THEM. They are pretty telling of what you can expect from this store. Red flags everywhere, I'm not sure how this store is in business. They will not contact me or answer my phone calls, really bad response from a business that failed to serve the customer. Considering reporting this store to the better business bureau. Old review: Sherrie is the only reason we are attempting to complete our purchase with Ashley Furniture. After a nightmare sales experience with Jimmy and another sales associate (who had the audacity to cancel our order when I mentioned that I planned to call the store the next day to do so because they had blatantly lied to me,) this store should feel thankful for our business and even more so for Sherrie and Kelly saving the day. They were both very kind and wanted to help make the situation right. They also had the knowledge and ability to do so (so far, so good) but I will feel relieved if we actually receive our furniture. Will update this review accordingly. If you plan to shop at this store, reconsider.
