We found a nice sofa and bought it. Nice and easy

Most aspects of the sale went ok, but I was told my purchase came with a pillow. Turns out it didn’t, and management refused to make it right. Not going back.

Jordan was our salesman. It was his first day on the floor and he was very upbeat and helpful. The price and quality of the table and chairs I bought were just the thing I was working for.

Tammy helped me a lot when I visited Ashley store in person. She is very knowledgeable about the mattresses and explained in detail the difference between firm, medium and ultra firm and plush types. Good service but I hope the quality of the couch will be worth the price. The delivery fee is ridiculous!!! $500! A few years ago it was around $100.

Sales associate was wonderful. The manager on-site was not so friendly. She does not interact with customers, was very rude. Everyone else was so pleasant to work with. If you want repeat customers, treat them as if they matter and not just another sale. This was at the Fairfield location.

Today, I visited Ashley’s furniture for a personal financial issue I had with synchrony bank. To make the long story short, I was being charged almost $4,000 in interest. I called synchrony bank and the person that answered basically said we can’t do anything you have to pay this month or we will send you to collection. I dropped by Ashelys customer service and Gretchen helped me with calling Synchrony bank herself to see what was going on. Gretchen was patient, kind, understanding to my situation and advocated for me. She deserves more than this review, I received the Best customer service I could ever ask for. (this issue was not the furniture store since they did everything correctly.) I appreciate your time, thank you for helping with our issue, Gretchen!

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. They have terrible customer service and if ANYTHING goes wrong with the product delivery or the product is damaged they will not help without fighting. I will not do business with them ever again. Their reviews are artificially higher because they push you to review them in store and the salespeople are good but they do not back up their products.

The quality of Ashley furniture is undeniably high quality! But the customer service, especially dealing with a delivery was very sub par and I almost cancelled my order because of it! Ashley homestore needs to hire their own delivery team. Because outsourcing it really hurts their brand name that you would expect from them.

First time visit to Ashley store and will be our go to furniture store from now on. New recliners and end tables, affordable, quality and excellent customer service. I had the worst buying experience while purchasing a 10-piece Modmax sectional. The sales person was not familiar with the product and instead of saying, she didn’t know the answers, she gave me incorrect information. Luckily, I had done my own research and was able to correct her. During the purchase process, I was taken to no less than five different stations to fill out forms. And once we were done, the sales person had not included all of the pieces that we purchased, so we had to redo some of the paperwork. The purchase process took 2.5 hours and they weren’t even busy. Ridiculous! Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. I will hesitate to purchase anything in the future from this Ashley store.

I have never spent so much on a bed before, but I think that comes with getting older. We failed to ask about the return policy, and didn’t realize that all sales were final (unless something was defective). I wish I knew that beforehand. I probably would have purchased our bed through Costco.

Absolutely not recommended. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money. This store is the epitome of poor service and broken promises. First, they casually claimed they might deliver by the 21st (even though we needed it by the 19th). Then, they abruptly pushed it to the 28th, only to later shift it to the 6th of the following month! Their priority seems to be taking your money as quickly as possible, and once they have it, they couldn’t care less about fulfilling their commitments. This experience has been beyond unacceptable—never again will I step foot in this store. Stay away!

In the last 6 months I have spent over 15k at Ashley's furniture, bought a couch, love seat, 2 mattresses, bed frame. My couch is only 5 1/2 months old and is already broken. It stuck in the upright postion and there no way to get it to go down. I called the store and they said the soonest they can get someone out is 2 weeks. My grandmother is disabled and in a wheel chair, how does she get around with this sticking out especially during the holidays. And yes if I could move the couch I would but it's too heavy. Very disappointed in ashley furniture and there customer service felt like they didn't even care.

The truth is, I saw her on Black Friday helping a customer. Her empathy and willingness to be patient with that customer showed that she was the one I would like to help me with my purchase. The person who initially took my request was ok, but seemed to be all about the deal rather than the person they’re trying to make the deal with. I went in yesterday and I was helped by Agnes. She was great and helped my fiance and I find a set we really liked and we bought it. However, afterwards we couldn't help but feel uneasy about the price, and that there was a $400 automatic warranty attached just to get a discount. The math wasn't adding up, so I returned to the store with my dad to talk to 2 managers there, one being the customer service manager at the back desk. I felt pressured into keeping the set regardless of how I felt about the price and getting a good product, but I know I can get one at a better price. I also didn't appreciate the snarky remarks from the customer service manager as I went to cancel my order, saying "trust your guts, as long as it's not anyone else's guts," implying that my dad is the one who dragged me back to Ashley to cancel the order. I loved the experience at first with Agnes (who was not there when we came back), but coming back really showed true colors, and I will not be coming back because of such a sour experience. My fiance and I get married this month (Dec 2024) and this is our first time trying to buy furniture we like but at a great price. We would've loved the furniture set if we could've just removed the $400 automatic warranty, but they were not budging. Please do your research as I think they have great quality furniture, but be sure about the purchase and learn from my mistake.

Kimora from the Fairfield CA location was a huge help. She was very transparent and honest and helped us get the chair. We always wanted and gave us a good black Friday holiday sale. we will return.

I had a giftcard that was for the Emeryville store that recently closed i delt with a person named Trevor that refused to take the giftcard as it was issued from the Emeryville store manager and for that location. I was told to return in a few days as they had to escalate it to the corporate office.The giftcard was for a horrible customer experience and this put the icing on the cake. I will never patronize this location again. They were unhelpful and dismissive.

Revised—I am giving this store a 1 star and will never purchase from them again. After what I thought was a pleasant experience, I get home to find out a 5 yr warranty was added to my invoice for $399.99 without my knowledge. There was never any mention of this. I called same day to cancel this and was told someone would call me. Fast forward to me calling numerous times to get answer and finally was told this was part of the promotion. I NEVER WAS TOLD Of THIS!! They basically have said too bad so sad. Customer Service seems to be a thing of the past!! Looking to purchase a dining table and couch. Saw a painting I wanted to purchase but it was out of stock. I asked the floor person if I could purchase the display copy. She said yes, but there was a process. She took my information down and said they would contact me in a week. Never heard from them. And by her disinterested demeanor, I kind of expected that.

Bought a closeout floor model outdoor furniture set. Ashley had me personally move it from the floor out the back to loading dock and I had to load it myself. They had no one who could help in the store or in the warehouse. As a matter of fact, the sales person was willing to help but the manager said she could not because insurance. I had to get it in one day and one trip. If it wasn't such a good deal and my brother lived in Fairfield, I would have told them "screw you"! So thanks for nothing.

Ashley store , I need your advice/ help . The bed I purchased never been used. The mattress is too high. Can we replace it with shorter one . What is the shortest size that could fit in the bed I purchased?

From the minute I walked in Agnes the trusted adviser of Ashley noticed me and made a joke and immediately I was smiling and felt so at home. We were laughing most of the time .Such a warm feeling from her.I was looking for a comfortable recliner and she took me to this special collection of range rover (Boyington collection) recliners I sat down and didn't get back up for awhile. The experience was TERRIBLE at Ashely Store in Fairfield. We were delivered a couch with a broken recliner on day one. They took months to respond or to offer a satisfactory resolution. They wanted me to wait for a part to fix the problem. After at least 10 phone calls. They finally picked up the broken couch after I said I was going to seek other options to resolve this. They still never returned my over $400 delivery fee and again that was after I made several other calls inquiring about this. They stopped responding altogether. I would NEVER recommend Ashley furniture unless you want junk and horrible service. Giving a (1) star since I cannot submit this review with zero stars.

Also told us the warranty on our mattresses would be void if we did not purchase their mattress pads at $100 each- also a lie. Also charged us exorbitant delivery fee twice the amount over any other firm’s charges. The return/exchange process was ridiculously complicated and clearly designed to prohibit returns . Overall a terrible sales and service experience

I ordered a bunk bed online they took my money and 4 days later said they declined me because of thier credit security. So that means I can't use my card to order but they still take the money off of my card even though they say they don't. I called customer service who told me they can't complete the order and said 7-10 business for me to get my money back and hung up on me. I'm pissed they stole my money from me for 7-10 days plus the 4 days I've waited and gave me nothing in return. This company is criminal!!!!

We will recommend our friends and family shop at this location. However, it has been extremely hard to get a reputable technician that is actually from the company, Ashley. It seems to be one problem after another. Not big problems but big enough to be a thorn in my side from time to time. Since getting this lovely furniture that I am happy with, there seems to be issues with the hardware that's holding together. My couch. To be blunt on the side of my couch. It is buckling where I can see the tack or the nail that was used is part of the physical structure to be held in place. I complained about this inside the store but have yet received any help to come fix this problem. At some point, I'm going to get a little tired of dealing with Ashley and choose to go elsewhere. I know Ashley is a big furniture company so my business means nothing but from a moral perspective in business eyes will stand on those principles whether they are affected or not.

Kimora was the first one to greet us, so that was gonna be the person to handle our purchases. We came in just to look around. There was no pressure in the shopping experience at all. Once we found what we were interested in. Kimora made the experience smooth. There was a little hiccup on the computer with taking our first payment. But all got resolved shortly after. I wish I remember the financial reps name, but she too. Made the experience smooth and stress free! Would recommend! Will come back for more furniture needs!

2ND EDIT TO REVIEW 6/9/24. (DRIVE THE EXTRA MILES TO GO TO ANOTHER ASHLEY STORE!!! BUT IF YOU MUST, ASK FOR AGNES, SHE WAS KIND, IMFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL TO MY PARENTS) Didn’t get a call from the manager till today, Sunday even though I was told I would get a call yesterday. After speaking with Daisy today with the resolution of my parents picking out a new table as the one I was sold was no longer available at the warehouse or in store, my parents went to the store to pick one out. Since I have been dealing with Daisy and Gretchen from customer service, I asked Daisy when she got off since she was the only one authorized to make decisions, she said the store was open till 8. Assuming she’d be there, my parents went to the store to get a new one picked ( they’ve been without a table since 6/4 when the original table was supposed to get delivered to make space for the delivery). I had my mom ask for either Gretchen or Daisy since they know what’s been going on and Gretchen gave attitude towards my dad and told him she was on break. When my parents waited the 15 minutes they said she would be off break, she just walked by them. When I asked her what’s with the attitude, she said she didn’t know they were my parents…. REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY WERE, THEY WERE CUSTOMERS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE… she still could have KINDLY redirected them or simply asked what they needed and communicated it to another member. When my parents asked for Daisy, they were informed she was in a meeting.. shortly after they were told she was gone for the day due to an emergency. If the store personnel would have just been HONEST AND UP FRONT from the start, there wouldn’t be this much frustration OVER A DINING TABLE. This stores only saving grace is AGNES THE SALES AGENT for being able to kindly communicate to my parents and being transparent. Customer service department could use some customer service training. Will no longer recommend this store to colleagues, friends and family in the area. EDIT TO REVIEW DROPPING TO 1 STAR 6/6/24. This place will continue to be a disappointment no matter how much one person tries to make it right. Bought a dining table set 5/29 and was given a delivery date of 6/4. Waited all day, tracker showed time frame of 9am-10am with a delivery time frame of 8:45-12:45. No show. Called the store several times for an update and no answer. Reached out to Ashley live chat and came to the resolution of getting it “rescheduled” to 6/7. Got my usual delivery date and time confirmation and got the call from the store today. Had I not asked customer service to look into what happened on Tuesday, we would have wasted another day waiting for a delivery that wasn’t going to happen if I had just “confirmed” tomorrow’s delivery. She called me back to tell me the table and chairs I bought in store was discontinued (wasn’t informed of this when I bought the products in store.. just that it was on back order) and that the warehouse no longer had my order. Store manager won’t be in till Saturday so I am going to have to wait till then for a resolution. We paid the money to get products delivered and I was given options that would have further strained my father’s injuries. I don’t live in state and these were my purchases for my parents while I was in town and it’s truly disappointing that a well known company like Ashley’s has this much disconnect from the store to the warehouse without verification on product availability being sold to customers. The misinformation continues. We have bought several furniture pieces at this location dating back to 2019 and have always had a pleasant experience. Or so it seemed. Found out today that we were given misinformation up to about a month ago throughout our buying process, but Daisy the manager made it right. Our salesperson Pooja was also helpful today.

I went to Ashley’s Furniture looking for a dining set. Miesha was very helpful and knowledgeable of the sets she was showing me. She wasn’t pushing on the sale which made it great to browse all the options.

Extremely disappointed by Ashley store in Fairfield. when I called them, they said the product is available and which was on the offer but when I came to the shop, they said like the full product is not available the rails are missing from the bed if you wanted to take it, you can take it as it is and there is no proper help has been provided. Purchased our formal dining room kitchen set today from Ashley's Furniture. Noel assisted us and was very helpful. He answered all our questions and if he didn't know the answers, he spoke with his manager to find the answers to our questions. Can't wait to get our dining room table delivered. We ordered the Arlendyne set.

Prices are "expensive", for the mediocre quality. Called first to check on availability, but response went to voice. When I arrived at store, there were only a few customers. Why couldn't they have answered my call. Saw Ashley products on other store web sites. Prices were at least 40% cheaper.

I found something very reasonable and it was Ashley furniture being sold . So I bought it. NO Ashley store for me. However the sales person( Poohs) was so patient and helpful. Me and my husband took two days trying to get them to come down off 6,800+ however it didn’t have do it prompt me to only get the sofa set and take my money else where for the other things I wanted. Like I said best decision ..
