After a very long hassle with the Sacramento Store, Kimora and the team here at the Fairfield location were extremely attentive and polite. I came in with the intention to buy a mattress as my old bed set broke and unfortunately they don’t carry it anymore, they let me spend at least an hour in store testing mattresses and informing me on the many differences in addition to price points and what my overall sleep goals were. Needless to say if I need to buy furniture again, it would be at this location. Thank you again Kimora and Team.

Was welcomed into the store by a cheery Agnes. Gretchen was THE BEST customer service person i have ever spoken with in person. She made my experience great with discussion of my flawed furniture delivered today 6/6/2024. More representatives need to be like Gretchen. This turned my attitude around about Ashely and it hasn’t been good.

2ND EDIT TO REVIEW 6/9/24. (DRIVE THE EXTRA MILES TO GO TO ANOTHER ASHLEY STORE!!! BUT IF YOU MUST, ASK FOR AGNES, SHE WAS KIND, IMFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL TO MY PARENTS) Didn’t get a call from the manager till today, Sunday even though I was told I would get a call yesterday. After speaking with Daisy today with the resolution of my parents picking out a new table as the one I was sold was no longer available at the warehouse or in store, my parents went to the store to pick one out. Since I have been dealing with Daisy and Gretchen from customer service, I asked Daisy when she got off since she was the only one authorized to make decisions, she said the store was open till 8. Assuming she’d be there, my parents went to the store to get a new one picked ( they’ve been without a table since 6/4 when the original table was supposed to get delivered to make space for the delivery). I had my mom ask for either Gretchen or Daisy since they know what’s been going on and Gretchen gave attitude towards my dad and told him she was on break. When my parents waited the 15 minutes they said she would be off break, she just walked by them. When I asked her what’s with the attitude, she said she didn’t know they were my parents…. REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY WERE, THEY WERE CUSTOMERS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE… she still could have KINDLY redirected them or simply asked what they needed and communicated it to another member. When my parents asked for Daisy, they were informed she was in a meeting.. shortly after they were told she was gone for the day due to an emergency. If the store personnel would have just been HONEST AND UP FRONT from the start, there wouldn’t be this much frustration OVER A DINING TABLE. This stores only saving grace is AGNES THE SALES AGENT for being able to kindly communicate to my parents and being transparent. Customer service department could use some customer service training. Will no longer recommend this store to colleagues, friends and family in the area. EDIT TO REVIEW DROPPING TO 1 STAR 6/6/24. This place will continue to be a disappointment no matter how much one person tries to make it right. Bought a dining table set 5/29 and was given a delivery date of 6/4. Waited all day, tracker showed time frame of 9am-10am with a delivery time frame of 8:45-12:45. No show. Called the store several times for an update and no answer. Reached out to Ashley live chat and came to the resolution of getting it “rescheduled” to 6/7. Got my usual delivery date and time confirmation and got the call from the store today. Had I not asked customer service to look into what happened on Tuesday, we would have wasted another day waiting for a delivery that wasn’t going to happen if I had just “confirmed” tomorrow’s delivery. She called me back to tell me the table and chairs I bought in store was discontinued (wasn’t informed of this when I bought the products in store.. just that it was on back order) and that the warehouse no longer had my order. Store manager won’t be in till Saturday so I am going to have to wait till then for a resolution. We paid the money to get products delivered and I was given options that would have further strained my father’s injuries. I don’t live in state and these were my purchases for my parents while I was in town and it’s truly disappointing that a well known company like Ashley’s has this much disconnect from the store to the warehouse without verification on product availability being sold to customers. The misinformation continues. We have bought several furniture pieces at this location dating back to 2019 and have always had a pleasant experience. Or so it seemed. Found out today that we were given misinformation up to about a month ago throughout our buying process, but Daisy the manager made it right. Our salesperson Pooja was also helpful today.
