Gary is the man! We visited the store during a Memorial Day weekend because we were in the market for furniture for our new house. The place is full of mid-priced items for every furniture need. Gary greeted us and helped us browse, shop, ponder, compare and walk around and around for the hour and a half we were there. He was patient, informative, helpful and didn’t pressure us at all. The selection was great with reasonable prices. We chose a 5 piece sectional and paid a very fair price. I noticed that they had a little different selection than what is on their webpage so I was glad we went in person.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Our saleman, Sam was outstanding, he was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We will definitely do business with the Folsom Ashley Furniture Store in the future.

Jamir our sales person was so helpful and friendly. They would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn’t for their delivery service. They forgot a piece for our bed so we could not use it until we got that. They did not put a rush on it so we had to wait a week extra to use our bed. Very frustrating. When we asked the sales rep what management would do to fix the problem since we weren’t even able to use the bed we never received a call back.

I don’t like Ashley delivery department. They are junk. Sent two text message, Two calls, One email to confirm the delivery on schedule time. I confirmed all 5 times. Today on 4/19/2024 got call again that they can’t deliver all at same time and force to do in partial delivery. Do ask what you can’t deliver.
My husband and I were in the Ashley store in Folsom on 4/14/2024. We were interested in purchasing a new adjustable bed and were approached by Jamir Webb. I am disabled and purchasing the right bed means a lot to my good health. I needed a bed that was low enough for me get into safely. At first glance, all the beds looked too high. Jamir was extremely helpful in explaining the adjustability, even to the point of rolling up his sleeves, flipping the bed over and demonstrated how easy it was to shorten the legs, thus making the bed the perfect height for me. And, this was just the beginning of Jamir's outstanding customer service. When you are in a wheelchair, people sometimes struggle to interact with you and understand what you are going through. Jamir took the time to understand my needs and worries and truly made me feel valued and understood. We would definitely not have purchased the bed without Jamir's help. Buyer Beware! No returns! Bought a $1k lift chair for elderly relative, but it isn't stable enough for her. Immediately requested a return or exhange, but only got the runaround. So we have to eat $1k or risk her falling out of the chair.

Don’t buy furniture from this store not from any Ashley store . Don’t take furniture insurance from them . They are big scammers. I got my bedroom set 3 years ago from them and got insurance too . This is first time I called insurance because I see cracking wood itself and they said it’s here and tear we don’t accept your claim plz pay out of your pocket . I paid $200 extra for furniture insurance. They said something else when you go to buy furniture and after that something else they don’t care at all until you take some serious steps against them . I didn’t know this unfortunately I bought new sofa set 6months ago from them which is $4000 something and pay insurance too but it’s still in manufacture warranty so I called them about deshaped cushion and uncomfortable . I got back pain because of deshaped cushions but this time they send guy and he told me they can’t do anything with this you have pay out of your pocket. It’s big scam just stay away from them . Once you got furniture they don’t care at all . Now I’m stuck with low quality furniture even after pay so much amount. I can share with you . My bed frame Broke from inside I know it’s broke but they said send pics how I can show them in pic even how can I show them my sofa cushion deshaped and so comfortable.

I went into the Folsom store, and Jamir greeted us as soon as we walked in. He walked around with us and looked at couches, but at no point did I feel pressure from him. He was super personable and easy to deal with. We made a decision on the couch and we’re able to wrap up the whole deal within 10 minutes. When the couches were delivered, a week later, the loveseat was the wrong model, I texted him, and even though it was his day off, he texted me back and said he would go into the store and get it fixed, zero hassle. Customer service is a dying trait, Jamir showed that, even after he made the sale, he still cared about his customer. Oh in the couch is pretty great too!

Recently I walked into the store looking for Office table and chair. I searched a lot of models online however wanted to get a real feel of the product hence choose to visit the store. Got all the way home only to realize that the 5 year ($150)plan I didn’t want and repeatedly stated I didn’t want was added to my bill. Still waiting on customer service response . Updated from 2 starts to 3 purely from the attentiveness and help provided by their online staff to undo an error by in store personnel.

Re: The Folsom location. Let me start off by saying I do not normally post negative reviews. I understand that sometimes things happen. This time-Ashley Furniture was downright rude and I had to share my negative experience. Ashley overcharged us when we bought a living room set. They comped us $100.00. When I tried to use it they did not want to honor it. The lady basically grilled me and said "where did you get it?" You didn't get it here. Yes, I did get it there. Instead of happily helping me, they made me feel unwelcome. They said it was no good, it was!! They finally let me purchase something begrudgingly. They did not give me a credit balance or change of even though I did not use the entire amount (I was owed another $30.00). SHAME on Ashley Folsom TWICE. Horrible customer service. We bought two living room sets (one for the downstairs and one for the loft). We bought the other set at RC WILLEY. It was a total opposite experience to Ashley's. RC Willey is where we'll go this year for our dining and bedroom set. UPDATE: Ashley has stated I can contact them in their reply. That is false, they said that there was nothing more they would do. They stated that I should discard the gift card as they will not give me the balance due. I just don't think it is very nice when a company does not treat their customers right. Shame on you 3 times Ashley Furniture.

BUYER BEWARE. We just took our child’s bed apart to move. In doing so we found the following: missing parts, stripped screws, and scratched parts of the bed the delivery guys scratched up while putting the bed together. They only give you two options-it gets delivered and you put it together yourself, which means if you find anything missing they said they will not cover it-OR they have people build it for you, that you pay for, that apparently still put it together incorrectly. The bunk bed was missing a crucial safety part that keeps the upper bunk attached to the lower bunk without falling. I am LIVID a company would be so careless and then say that since you did not catch it while THEIR company put it together, they won’t do anything. Yeah, you can sit in the room and watch them put it together, but they don’t show you the instructions or parts, only the finished product. DISHONEST GROUP OF PEOPLE. Trash company-if you don’t stand by your customer service, you don’t deserve to be a company at all.

I had a positive experience at the Ashley store in Folsom, Ca. Upon entering the store I was greeted by the sales associate and shown the area for the leather couches. After selecting a couch I started asking the associate various questions about the item. Since he wasn’t sure about the answers to my questions he went to seek assistance from another sales associate and he displayed additional knowledge about the quality of the couch. In order for me to be totally convinced to purchase the couch they summoned the store manager to further assure me that the couch was made with excellent quality material. ****** Update ****** : I walked in to this store after this review, and discussed the entire hassle. The team was very welcoming. They apologized for what I have gone through, and assured me to fix it. A week later, a technician came to my house, inspected it and went back. Yesterday I got mine replaced with a new one. Thanks Ashley for taking time and addressing the issue. Updating from 1 star to 5. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ashely warranty is a scam. Please don't trust them when they lure you to buy that additional warranty. Quality of materials is not that great. Do you own research and can get a better price else where. My furniture broke less than a year of usage, and they pushed me between store, and the extended warranty company, and finally said it can't be fixed. Is this a joke? I have 5 years warranty purchased to be said that it can't be fixed. I bought furniture before at Costco, Macy's, and Becks. Their customer support, and response is very good.

Ordered a beige/pewter couch and loveseat. It was delivered on 8/25/23 by two men who couldn’t speak or understand English. We tried to tell them it wasn’t what we ordered. The set received was grey. They dropped our set and practically ran out and became irritated when we tried to tell them no it wasn’t what we ordered. Went to Ashley next day and explained to Omar and manager the problem. The sofa was also broken on side where recliner buttons are. They said to pick another sofa and they didn’t see a problem exchanging it but needed to get approved and would call us within 48 hours. No one called so after 3 days I called. Omar said he would call us next day and didn’t. The following day I called and the next day and left messages for him and manager. I also text. I was Trying to find out what Ashley is going to do to make this right? Today September 1, 2023 still no one has contacted us. Our set was $2,500. They told me it was lighting and the couch is not grey. It is totally grey nothing beige/pewter about it no matter what light I put it under. They totally deceived us and have ignored us since. I am highly disappointed in this company and how they do business. I’m not giving up will be reporting them to BBB and more if not rectified which by the looks of things thus far is how it’s going. People work hard for what they need and this is unacceptable to do this to their customers. I was hoping to give a good review when I started this process but once they got our full payment they just didn’t care.

We shopped around all surrounding furniture stores to find our sectional couch and Jamir knocked it out the park with giving us the best price possible! Thank you Jamir, now we can furnish our new home! UPDATE! This update is for the delivery itself. We were sent a text on Tuesday from the Ashley warehouse to confirm our delivery date to be that coming Friday with no exact time of arrival. After waiting all day, it never came so we drove to the store only to find out the furniture we purchased couldn’t be delivered because of a piece the warehouse was still waiting to receive. If I could leave a new separate review I would for the delivery experience and give it a 2 out of 5. There was no communication from anyone about our furniture not being able to be delivered and as to why we were told a date to confirm but never came. If it wasn’t for us going out of our way to go back to the store, we would never have found out any updates. Oh yeah and I did try calling the store before driving there and that was horrible too because the automated machine couldn’t give me answers nor direct me to a live salesperson to talk to.
I Highly recommend going to this location and giving Omar and Art a visit! They helped us purchase our first brand new couch together even after we couldn't qualify for the financing he gave us an amazing discount and made sure we walked away with big smiles! I went back and was refunded the difference quickly & easily. I’m hopeful the chairs will meet or exceed my expectations when they arrive.

Instead of a TV stand I received a debt notice from the collector! I still can't believe this happened to me. And I'm surprised Ashley is allowed to run a business. 3 years ago my family bought a TV stand from Ashley online store. It was delivered broken. Later, a technician came to our house and said that it was unrepairable. Ashley ordered a replacement TV stand. And from that moment the nightmare began. They scheduled delivery, then rescheduled, then rescheduled, etc. In the end, they told us they didn't have it in stock and they are ordering a new TV stand to be delivered on December 31st. Of course, I did not believe that they would do this, because it's New Year holiday. I said I was tired of waiting and wanted to cancel the order. They agreed to do so and I received a cancellation email. But I didn't get a refund. I tried to contact them by email or phone but they never answered. So, I disputed the transaction through the bank. And after 3 years I got a letter from the collection agency that I owe Ashley money for this TV stand. I'm going to hire a lawyer, so I'll let you know how it goes here. If the media reps read this, I'll be happy to share all the proofs. I believe that such cases should be public. If you don't want your life ruined by an unfair debt, don't buy anything from Ashley.
We just went yesterday to Ashley store in Folsom. We were greeted by Omar who took the lead and walk us through. He was very patient with us as we chose our new mattress. I just want to take a minute and really thank him for his excellent customer service. From the minute we walked in till we left he made sure to go above and beyond to give us the best deal. Also to mention both of the store managers were very nice their names Abdulrahman and Sarmad. I’m definitely coming back to buy the rest of my furniture here. ASHLEY FURNITURE RIP-OFF! We purchased a loveseat for my 99-year-old father; the sales rep touted the benefits of a 5-year furniture protection plan policy which we purchased for $64.00. I was sent the full terms and conditions a few days later which include NO LESS THAN 38 EXCLUSIONS, rendering this policy essentially worthless. I immediately canceled the furniture protection plan and followed the online instructions to request a refund. My request was acknowledged the same day and I was assured a refund would soon be on its way. A full month has now passed and we haven’t received a dime. Called to find out why and was told Ashley Furniture basically hasn’t done anything to process my refund! Seems to me they are counting on customers to forget about the money due to them. Always thought Ashley was a good place to buy furniture, but this experience is making me realize this is no longer the case.
We had a great experience in the store. However, today was the day of delivery and the wrong item was delivered. I have been trying to call and explain this to the representatives, so far I have spoke to 2. But they do not understand what is wrong, try to connect me to the store itself and then the phone gets disconnected. I’m completely frustrated and disappointed that I can’t simply talk to someone about this.

Gary was professional, helpful and personable. While the prices are a bit high, their items on clearance are GREAT. I bought a matching office desk, bookcase, and printer stand for $450 and two large silk plants for $34.99 each (usually those run about $60 on Amazon).
From the moment I met Trenton on the phone, I knew he would be able to help me find the headboard I wanted to buy. He was diligent, dependable, caring and gave me excellent service. While the price at Ashley was higher than what I could have gotten on Amazon, working with Trenton gave me the confidence to rely on Ashley's service over Amazon. We went to Ashley Furniture store in Folsom couple of days ago to purchased a queen size bed frame with nice headboard and its two nightstands. We had one of their sweetest sale associate name Jasmine helping us. Wow, she is the most beautiful, amazing kind, patient, caring, and professional sales person we’ve ever seen or met! Our chair broke and we needed a new arm chair. My Husband and I went to American Gallery Furniture. We were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. We went a couple doors down to Ashley Furniture and were met by Gary. We told him what we were looking for and what we could spend. We ended up buying a chair and making plans to come back to furnish our new home in a year when we are done building. Gary showed us where all of the great deals were. We ended up buying something different than what we came in for but left with a smile on our face and lots of money left in our pockets. Thanks Gary!!! We will be back
Excellent customer service by Trenton. He was knowledgeable, friendly, pofessional and thorough. We never felt pressured. He shared ideas, suggested colors. Took measurements. He truly has an eye for design and decor. We were in the store with him for literally 3 plus hours.....we are furnishing a new home so we were buying a LOT of furniture including top of the line bed. Since then we have had a few issues with one of the couches but we are able to reach out to Sam and always get a quick response and assistance.

If I could give a no stars I would , me and my wife were greeted at the door and that was about the extent of customer service, we walked around the whole entire store I counted 9 employee's by the time we left, not a single one asked me or my wife anything, so we walked down to American Furniture which is 2 businesses away and purchased a 1000.00 sofa, never again will I purchase anything that has the name a Ashley Furniture on it. Also we went back after our purchase and basically said you guys lost a 1000.00 dollar sale and they still treated us like we shouldn't be there, I'm absolutely disgusted
Unprofessional organization. We ordered a living room set from this store and paid for delivery, set up, and the extended warranty. You have to pay for delivery and set up if you want the warranty. Two weeks later the furniture showed up as scheduled but it was not the color we ordered so we sent it back. After speaking with the store, who questioned our ability to see colors, arranged for a second delivery. Two weeks later the delivery team showed up with furniture that was the color we ordered but not the set we ordered and the sofa was missing the back rest. I am done with Ashley Furniture and I hope this helps others with their furniture buying decision.

Jasmine was amazing! She answered questions we didn’t even know we had. She helped us find a living room set that would fit our needs. She was knowledge, patient, funny, and down to earth. She made us feel important BEFORE she knew whether we were buying anything. When we left the store my daughter said, “that was a great shopping experience!” Thank you, Jasmine, for all of your assistance. We cannot wait to relax in our new LR set!!!

Purchased a small table and chairs, several delays in delivery (which they did not contact me about, I had to reach out to them). Items looked nice when delivered. Since the delivery was several days late, we were headed out on vacation and did not have the opportunity to use the new set. When we got home and sat on the chairs.....they are like baby chairs, you feel like a small child sitting at an adult table. I contacted Ashley to exchange the chairs for something that would work with the table. They refused, stating you have only SEVEN days to return/exchange. OMG that is insane, so, due to their tardiness of delivery, I am stuck with chairs that won't work. By the way, I contacted Ashley 12 days after delivery. It wasn't like it was months later. I am so upset; I have a brand-new kitchen set you can't use comfortably.
Not happy with the service. Because of the Ashley store mistake, the delivery person denied to pickup/recycle my old mattress when they delivered my new mattress. My old mattress is still lying in my house and no where to store it. All my efforts to get it resolved with Ashley store was down the drain. I would not recommend purchasing from this store.
Beautiful furniture
We ordered a dining room set that included a table, 4 chairs and a bench and we ordered a couch and love seat. We had to wait 4 months the couch and love seat! We were told our dining set would be delivered in April, then it was May and then June. You can never get a hold of the Folsom store on the phone so twice we had to drive to Folsom to talk to someone in person. Because we never heard from them for our "June" delivery, we decided to cancel the order. They delivered the 4 dining chairs in April but we never received the bench or table. Now they tell me they canceled and refunded us for the bench and table but they won't take the chairs!! What the heck are we supposed to do with 4 chairs and no table?? I am done with Ashley furniture. The way they've handled our order is unacceptable!

End of March or early April went to Ashley to see what was available for the type of furniture we were looking for. "Jasmine" sales person was our first contact and was very helpful to us, but had to wait on purchasing until the end of April. Went back to the store on 5/19 looking for a recliner for our house instead of what we had originally wanted. Purchased a sofa recliner and wasn't disappointed by the style and quality of the product. "Mariko" sales rep helped us in this purchase as Jasmine was busy with another client. The employees are great and we're happy with our purchase 👍
One of the worst experiences in the Ashley Folsom store. Their technology is so outdated that none of their systems work properly, and you need to be prepared to wait for atleast an hour and half for billing, with no respect of customer's time. Worst part is that if you get any enticing vouchers from the store manager on your purchase to use for next purchase, please be aware that those vouchers/coupons/store credit will never be applied any time you do a future purchase, they are scams! You will be told all sorts of contradicting reasons to not apply those vouchers. So don't make a purchase if you think they are giving you good deal, but in reality they are making you fool! Lastly, the store takes no responsibility if your item is damaged, you need to return on your own to the warehouse.
They do not have salesman to help you out. We had to wait and explain 3 different sales people what was promised to us and the last one said it’s not even a thing. Never go to their store to buy. Order online. Visit store to checkout the item in person.
The sales people are great, the furniture is great quality, they would have received 5 stars but they do not deliver. Had to call around to find friends to help and get a time that works for everyone. Very difficult. I have no problem paying for delivery.
We had an awesome experience with Gary and his manager! Gary answered all of our questions, showed us the details on the recliners we purchased, and was a delightful person! We ran into an issue with our credit card and his manager provided help.

Only go shopping if you know exactly what you want. Way too many ppl working here. Purched a couch the installers damaged it unknown to us we purchased the insurance warranty and we have just been getting the run around to get it fixed or anything alot of finger pointing been almost at year now. Not happy with the customer care service

DO NOT BUY the cleaning warranty I wasted almost $300.00 dollars They go round and round about sending someone out to clean spots that are on the warranty saying it’s not on the paper I had in my hand I went through three people and they all refused to send someone out 🤬🤬🤬🤬I will be going to Ashely’s and causing a scene which is something I never have done. bought two recliners from them 3 years ago. they were defective from the first day delivered, had three people out to fix,last guy just left said had to order parts.motor went out 2 techs couldn't fix expensive leather recliner finally said to send to factory ...Factory is in vietnam . not going to happen on my dollar terrible customer service
Be careful with the business practices of the company. I placed an order for a bedroom set and bed in September 2021. When I purchased this set, I was told by the sales representative I will not get billed until the entire order is received. We'll, the most expensive piece was delivered the following week and I was billed for 95% of the order. It's approaching February 2022, I've made 3 payments for a bedroom set I haven't received and not expected until March. I'm not complaining about the supply chain issues, it's more about telling me I will not be billed until the whole order is received and then the submitted the invoice to the credit company for payment.

BUYER BEWARE - I have been dealing with Ashley Furniture for a month and a half on a bed return/exchange. We bought too small of a size, called the same day after delivered (12/3) to notify we need to return and exchange for a bigger size (spend more money!) and was told by their customer service that same weekend we would be able to go in and pick out the correct bed and a new delivery would be scheduled the following week. I called the store the next day (12/4) to schedule appointment and they then tell me that it needs to be approved by the District Manager. I understand and request an ETA. 1 week. So I call a week later. No response from DM (12/10). I call 3 days later no response from DM (12/13). I drive down the store (12/18) and speak to the store manager/supervisor in person, express my issue and he says the district manager is being replaced by a new guy before the new year, we would have a response before the Holidays. Fast forward to (01/03) and I still hadn't received a call back. Called the store was advised two weeks. Called today (01/15), no response and the store manager is out sick, new email being sent to the new DM. I have been pushed around by them for a month and a half and have had absolutely nothing resolved. I cannot begin to explain my absolute frustration and disappointment in regards to this company. Absolutely do not recommend ever buying from them. Their hold times are 25 mins to an hour long, no one can help you "because this isn't a store level request" and if by the off chance your disatisified with your purchase they do not care at all to resolve it for you.
Terrible service. Bought a bed. They put in the wrong order for headboard and rails first time and sent it back. Next delivery was 1 month later and this time they still sent wrong size rails and the bed looked used so sent it back again. Extremely disappointing.
Very understanding and helpful
Rachel was great. Very friendly and greeted us at the door. We were looking to purchase additional sections to add to our couch after realizing it was a bit to small. Rachel was able to look up our previous order, identify the pieces we wanted and scheduled a delivery date for just 3 days after our visit to the store. We ended up roaming the store and bought a few extra items as well. We received additional help here as well in looking up our other furniture to identify matching pieces for each space. Great experience. Great store!!
Too expensive and small selection
If you are looking for a great deal on quality furniture with the most amazing customer service, look no further!!! John Vera is the best! He goes out of his way to help his associates and his customers to get exactly what they need. Even though there is an Ashley furniture down the street from my house, I drive 40 min out of my way to see him. You can not beat the customer service and knowing that there is someone there to help you if anything goes awry. I littaraly just called him to ask a question about a purchase I made 3 months ago and he not only answered to me right away but also remembered me too. Wow, a furniture place you can trust that always has your back. I highly recommend this Ashley's.

I don't have zero point option to select. The product is delivered with damage and they want to change it and the delivery date is always changed and need to wait for a product for 3 to 4 months. This is not at all accepted from Ashley. The person who said as the superior manager in my customer call in Folsom is not answering the question properly and not concerned about the customers at all. This is very bad on ASHLEY

On 8/24/2021 my new bed was delivered, the delivery men damaged my stairs and the bed was set up incorrectly. It has now been 2+ months and I have yet to hear back from anyone at Ashley furniture with a resolution, despite my multiple phone calls. I am a repeat customer and have had great experiences previously. The sales representatives are great and I would have continued to be a loyal customer had someone at least called me back with an ETA on the repairs. Even if I had to wait for the actual repairs to be done, it would have been nice to know someone was actually working on it.
Wasted an entire day at a competitor store the day prior, and ended up buying some furniture I didn't love. Went the next day to Ashley, immediately found exactly what I needed, they had it in stock, better quality and look, and paid just a little less. Great experience.

We loved the furniture, we loved the prices…however it’s taken two months since we bought our entertainment system and still don’t have it. I understand covid has made things more difficult but, they don’t even call to tell us our order got pushed back three times. We stay home to receive it and it doesn’t show. Then we call for help and wait half an hour yo be told we have no order? It’s so disappointing. The customer service is great I’m store but awful over the phone. Not worth all this.

Younger employees lounging on couches on their phones. I asked one girl if I could try out the couch she was laying on texting her boyfriend (I know this because she told me she was texting her boyfriend) and she says, "Yeah, I get paid to do this all day." Uhhh, cool. And 45 yr old guy helping us telling us his real job is as a dj at the bar down the street and he has no problem getting tail because he's an awesome dj. Then he tried to sell us a 5,000 dollar mattress and said he would throw the couch in for 1,000. Are these people insane? We said no thanks and bolted for the door. Stay far away from this location.
To all those current and future furniture-seeking individuals out there, be cautious of Ashley Furniture. You'll be greated at the front door promptly and properly; however, if you do not state that you just want to browse around, look, and not be bothered you'll be accompanied by a staff member (or two) throughout the entire duration of your visit. There's customer service, then there's an overarching leaching effect to try and get you buy the most expensive products. Some salespeople are down to Earth and try to educate you on the quality of products. Yet, those individuals are usually with others who can't take hints towards social-cues and mannerisms. A good salesperson knows when to let customers be so they can discuss potential product procurement; yet, those at Ashley Furniture go to great lengths to ensure you have a semi-uncomfortable visit. Sales tactics are useful if used correctly and with the right persona, attributes that salespeople at Ashley should probably work on. We went in with the mindset that we were going to walk out with a mattress and ended up trying to disperse from the premise as quickly as possible.

I bought and paid for a sleeper sofa the middle of August, after 2 months it has finally arrived. I thought I was buying from a high end dealer and had no idea it would take this long. And now it has a defect. So disappointed!!!!!
Horrible experience!!! We came in to look at love seats and the salesman IMMEDIATELY tried to upsale us to a $5,000 tempurpedic mattress!! He was insistent if we purchase the mattress he would "give us" the love seat for $400. We told him we were not interested at all in the mattress and just wanted to know price of loveseat, as he had not given us price yet for that. He sat down on the loveseat, with his calculator and paperwork. He said he had to call his boss, to get best price for us. After 5 minutes we headed toward front of store, he followed! Near front door, he stopped us and said he had great price for us. He opened his iPad and showed us the numbers: $7, 100!!! We had told him we weren't interested in the bed, but he ignored what we said. He then reiterated he had thrown in the loveseat for $400, with purchase of bed. "We don't want the bed...what is price for loveseat alone?" He then showed us his iPad...if purchasing it alone, $3,295!!! WHAT???? We told him, we were not interested and he said, "Hold on my boss wants to meet you and say hi". Yah, we know where that would have lead, we weren't born yesterday!! All the boss was going to do was question our decision and pressure us!! We headed to front door, salesman gave us his card, we left, shaking our heads, laughing about what had happened!!! We will never return! RC Willey, here we come! (They have never pressured us into any purchases!!)

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. They confused my order with someone else’s order, rescheduled it without notifying me on multiple occasions, and I still have not received a refund after finally cancelling my order. It’s impossible to get a store employee on the phone, and their call center employees are less than helpful. I had to drive down to the store on 4 different occasions to try and fix my order, and it’s looking like I will be making a 5th trip to try and secure my refund. I was incredibly disappointed with Ashley and will not buy furniture from them in the future. In good news, I was able to go to an actual mattress store and had one in two days with zero issues.

One of my lamps were broken on delivery. I called customer service for a simple replacement. They said I had to bring it, I had move and much further away. I make the drive and was told, you didn’t have to drive all the way and they would send the replacement at no cost to me. Why did I pay for a broken item and it’s Ashley’s good graces to send me the item I paid for, for free.
Giving three stars because communication was very poor and unclear about furniture delivery. In store experience was great, but again delivery was very poor as rescheduled without permission so work now has to be taken off again to be available. Very inconvenient.
We ordered furniture on memorial day weekend with the sale going on... Furniture was delivered next week and arrived damaged. The delivery guy took pictures and said customer service will be in touch to work on the replacement/fix/refund within 24-48 hrs. After 2 days, nobody called so I called in to get the ball rolling...was quoted 24-48 hrs again for a response. 1 week went by and nothing, so I called back and had a new case opened as the guy said it was done incorrectly on the 1st time. Again, waiting for a call back and nothing... It's going on 3 weeks now with no response and all of this time we have kept our cats locked in the room as to avoid them on the furniture since its going back to the store. We have company coming too for the 4th of July and now we have this hunk of damaged furniture in our room taking up space. Very upset with the lack of response at Ashley...we will not be shopping there again!
I researched the mattress I wanted before going to the store. I was prepared to buy it when I got there. The salesman told me I didn't want that and tried to sell me a $6000 mattress that I DIDN'T want. He was very pushy and borderline arrogant. I left with nothing but a bad taste in my mouth.

I had never been to a furniture store where the employees on the floor seemed so cohesive, friendly, and willing to be helpful. Jenna was really patient with me as I looked at furniture and she walked with me step by step to get a mattress. Seemed like every employee in the store was willing to offer their input and help me think of factors to consider when investing in a mattress. While I purchased a mattress and base that day mostly due to their wonderful informational help and deal they were offering, I ended up cancelling the order a couple days later. Regardless, the cancellation process was fairly simple and I'm glad after talking to them a couple times on the phone that it was resolved. Hope everyone can have as positive an experience with their customer service as I did.
Love the bed we purchased. They said it would be shipped 1 week later prior to purchase but after the purchase they said delivery would be 1 month later. I am expecting it to be even later based upon what I experienced and reviews I read but hopefully I will be surprised. I will post more soon.
Purchase was placed September 2020. Item never delivered. Refund was continuously promised, but never delivered in full. They lied continuously throughout the process.

The salesperon in the store was really helpful. When I received my buffet the cabinet door didn't close properly and the delivery guy assured me he opened a case and a technician would call me promptly to schedule a time to repair it. This never happened. I called the Ashley Customer service number and after sending photos of the necessary repair she asked me for the serial number on the piece. Couldn't find it anywhere so when I said it must be on the back and I couldn't move the piece to find it, she was annoyed and said so , I will need to send a tech JUST to get the serial number to order the part and then to return to fix it. I'm thinking to myself, this is crazy. I paid 1200 for a piece of furniture and they're annoyed at me. And the tech won't be here for 3 weeks. So, their delivery guy lied, the customer service group is not really great at customer service, I'm kind of scared to see if the tech guy is really able to fix the little magnet attachment on the door. We'll see how this ends up. Not looking good so far. Next time I'm buying from RC Willy.

Absolutely horrible experience! We bought a huge amount of furniture over 3 months ago and have got nothing but the runaround. They lie and ignore your messages. They will never call you back or follow through. They just keep saying some items are on back order. They won't deliver what is in stock because they don't want to make two trips. The manager is never to be found and never returns a message. Take your business elsewhere!
Have no clue when our sofa we bought a little over 2 months ago will be here. Delivery date has changed 3 different times and we only found out each time because we reached out. The communication is garbage and needs to be fixed. I’ve called multiple times during their “open hours” and get a robot saying they are closed. I’ve always heard good things about them, but this experience has sucked.

Terrible customer service, damaged goods, managers won’t return calls and delivery stole sentimental item in the home. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to my purchase. Customer service is terrible and managers do not take calls or call customers back. Purchased a bed frame, delivery was scheduled pretty quickly. Item arrived broken and the delivery guys tried to tape the broken boards but ultimately couldn’t put the bed together due to other pieces being the wrong size. During the assembly they decided to use some tools my husband left on our dresser and somehow 1 of the tools in the set went missing. I’ve been trying to get in touch with the distribution center to get the tool back, since it has sentimental value - it was a gift from my husbands father. No one will return my call, the driver won’t admit he “mistakenly” took our tool and somehow, 3 days later the bed frame still hasn’t made its way back to the distribution hub so we can get a redelivery date. This has been a nightmare and it’s clear that Ashley doesn’t care about anything but collecting your money. They need to take a good hard look at there company values, ethics & staff. Allowing delivery staff to go to customers homes, only to take what’s not there’s, is bad business. Do better and hold your staff and managers accountable for behavior.

I guess I should have read the reviews prior to our purchase as well. We made a $2800 purchase (SO-776560) and found the corner wedge to be damaged after the delivery drivers put it in our living room and tried to position it so we wouldn't see the damage. I caught it and called customer service 2 hours after delivery to explain what happened and they said they would send a tech out to view the damage. That was on Dec 24,2020.... 2 weeks later a tech came out and said yes this damage looks like they dropped the couch and it needs to be replaced. It is now going on a month since delivery and silence on their end so I called and left a voice mail because ofcourse their "experiencing high call volume" and they said they will respond back within 48 hours and that came and went so I decided to chat online and now they stated that I'm not approved for an exchange but they will come to my house and fix it. What? That doesn't even sound right. There's a deadly virus called Covid-19 and I don't want 2-3 workers in my house if I don't need to. This is ridiculous and my advice to everyone is STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT DOESNT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND IS NOWHERE TO FIND ONCE THE PRODUCT IS IN YOUR POSSESSION!
Worst customer service I’ve experienced in ANY industry. Purchased our sectional in October and we still don’t have it. It’s COVID times and we understand there are delays, BUT lying to your customers because your computer system and warehouse don’t sync up is completely unacceptable! Alex is the most unprofessional Store Manager and has trained his customer service reps to respond to customers via email saying “I cannot force my boss to call you” (Thanks, Sherry!). We still don’t have a delivery date and all they have offered to make any of this right is a $200 store credit that I have to go to the actual store to pick up. Still waiting on a call back from a manager (it’s been since Dec 26th that Sherry relayed our message to her boss) and corporate escalations hasn’t responded either (also since end of December). Never buying anything again from a company that doesn’t care about their customers.
I waited 6 weeks for delivery ,they rescheduled 3 times. I finally canceled my purchase. Then they took 2 weeks to refund my money only after I went in the the folsom branch and demanded a refund. Very bad experience. Go to Costco to get a couch save the hassles...
Placed an order in October was put off until December 3 when I was told I would have my full living room delivery, gave away our entire living room December 2, and I had a No show after several phone calls there was no delivery until January 3 so in a nut shell got our money back ordered from another furniture store , we will NEVER STEP FOOT IN ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN ! Got a call that the table and center console delivery for the ordered set is outside our home, cancelled the delivery cause we’re not at home, and called the store, informed us that they will delivery the set at the same time, scheduled the delivery and been waiting, until we finally called the customer service cause we didn’t get a call from the delivery guy, and says that it cant be delivered that day. A 9 piece living room set ordered, arrived with only 6 piece set, called the store, they said only the 6 piece was in the statement. Not as promise by sales rep inside the store... BEWARE!!!

No call when items do not show up on time. Rude and absolutely horrible customer service. Honestly, I have no idea how they are still in business
I placed an order two months ago. I understand due to the pandemic shipping delays. However, I think this should have been a straight conversation from the start. Well I order somewhere else. Got the product. Have and cancelled order. The issue was the cancellation. Lol no one in the store said anything. Sorry for you inconvenience, delays, etc....... not one word! Once I said I order and received product. I need a new couch and I seen one. But with the attitude. I am at an age where I pay for service or manners. Haha Ashley employee have none!

I bought over 13k in furniture in July and am still waiting for the rest of my order. The manager Alex is a lier, he says that he will call you, but never does. I never got an email or phone stating that my order is delayed. The salesperson was great, but my experience with them has been an nightmare if I can give zero stars I would.
You can't reach anyone by phone ( local store or customer service) for an update. It appears to be designed that way. Manager was suppose to get back to me to provide an update as to the delay in delivery. INever did. Finally, we got a refund and went somewhere else

Horrible experience -- 3 months delay to deliver a bed! Would give 0 stars if possible I ordered a bed frame in Dec 2019. The salesman in the store paired the wrong bed frame and headboard in the order, so when the bed arrived it couldn't be assembled. A technician who came to fix it thought the wrong screws had been delivered, so ordered them -- from the factory in Wisconsin.. 10 days to arrive, and when they did, of course did not solve the problem. When I complained a different tech ordered a new set of legs, --another 10 days to arrive, and again did not solve the problem. At each visit to the store I was asked to wait at the customer service while a ticket was opened. Talked to the manager in person, and he couldn't help. The staff in the store seemed confused and kept passing the buck around about whose fault it was -- the factory in Wisconsin, the store etc. After 2 months, the root cause was finally identified when they reviewed the original order. Then a new headboard was ordered --again 10 days to deliver. Finally got the bed set up in March 2020 -- 3 months after the delivery!. No apology from the manager. I observed the way the staff behaved during the whole episode -- the ladies at the front desk genuinely tried to help, but were hamstrung by their order process. The manager and other staff could not identify the problem for a long time, and their discussions indicated they were just trying to point fingers. Will never visit this location again.
I bought $ 6600 furniture from Ashley Homestore at Falsom then i decided to change my order no boday is answering my call . I am trying to concel my order that I paid for but no one is helping worse customer service I should write a complaint against this place . Please do not go there Ahmad Bashir

This company is a scam!! Bought my daughters furniture here told me it would be delivered a month later. A month and half later they tell me it will take another month!!! Had to cancel my order! They shouldn’t sell things they don’t have! Take your money but don’t deliver products!
Buyer beware. Matt McCoy at the folsom store will be great at first. You’ll order your stuff and be told it’s available only to learn it’s not. Then when you go to the store he hides and won’t help you. This has been the worst experience. Do not purchase from Ashley Furniture. Go to a more reputable company.

Ashley has been wonderful! I bought 2 recliners which we love. The bar stools are beautiful, but did not fit at my island . They graciously allowed me to exchange them. Michael Spivey has been patient and helpful during the whole process. He is a great sales associate and we appreciate all that he has done for us.
First time we have ever been to this store, we were introduced to Aman. He was a really knowledgeable about the things we were in need of. We really felt comfortable with him, he is very kind and just a likable person. We bought what we came to get, and received a great discount and were treated great by all.

Although our sales person was very helpful and professional, we couldn’t help but notice that many of the gas and quite a few of the employees were not wearing masks. We pointed this out and of course nothing was done. We purchased our furniture on a visa card that we had not used in months. Within hours of making our purchase our information has been stolen and somebody was on a spending spree at the Apple store in our town. Either Ashley furniture is extremely careless with their customers information, or someone did not appreciate our comments about mask wearing and decided to have a little fun with our credit card. I notified the manager, Alex, the very next day and received absolutely no response whatsoever. We have yet to receive our furniture...so I can’t comment on quality, But I would be very reluctant to shop at Ashley furniture again given the experience

I purchased a nightstand during the 50% off sale. The salesperson quoted me a lower price than what rang up and they honored the lower price. Only three stars b/c I had to ask for a salesperson to help me and they couldn’t tell me when the piece would be delivered. They asked that I call back for a date versus them being proactive and calling or texting me with it.

Made a purchase 5/7/20 for couch, and artwork at Ashley Furniture in Folsom. Couch delivered 5/14/20, though the quality is lacking and the couch itself does not compare to what was shown on the showroom floor. Was told artwork would be delivered at a later date. Countless DAILY calls, voice-mails, & emails on my part have gone unaswered almost 90 days now. I was charged for a product I never received without any follow up or correspondence from customer service. This company does NOT answer calls, respond to emails or voicemails. Customer service is non existent. I am absolutely disappointed in the quality of my new couch and would NOT recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone, nor will I make any future purchases based on my experience. Mark my words, this company will put out a fake 5 star review right after this post in order to maintain deceptive 4/5 star reviews. Shameful...

Today was an emotional day taking my nephews to buy new furniture since they have moved in with my husband and I after their father passed from cancer last month. Danka was so compassionate and took it upon herself to get John the manager involved to help give us the best deal for this transition for the kids. My family is overwhelmed with the professionalism and compassion of Danka and John during one of the most difficult times for my nephews. Bought our couch here less then a year ago and it's already broken. We don't have a lot of company over, it's just me and my wife, so for the frame of the couch, in multiple areas, to be broken already, speaks of cheap, quality. Will never buy from them again.

They delivered the wrong pillows with my order. I called and asked for the right pillows to be delivered. I was advised they could not be delivered and I would need to return to the store for replacement. I went back to the store and was informed they never carry pillows in the store and they would need to be delivered. It took a solid hour for them to sort it out. During my wait, another customer had a negative experience and was upset the store manager was repeatedly unavailable and would not return her calls.
Worst. Do not go there. we ordered the bed and they delivered the damaged piece first and later they replaced but did not assemble correctly. The manager at the store is very rude and the prices are not worth for the quality.

I am extremely disappointed at how I was treated at this store. Maybe my purchase wasn’t expensive enough for anyone to care. I have called this store and customer service several times to resolve the error the store made. They never followed through with anything they say. I purchased a mattress for my son over a month ago. I never received a tracking number and when I search online using my order #, nothing came up so I had to call the store. When searching for the number, I noticed the store used my old address from off my ID and not the address I used on my application. This is the first time anyone used my address off of my ID without verifying it. Also, what if I was sending my order to a different person? It is bad policy to just assume an address without checking with the customer. I just recently moved and I said that several times. The representative told me that my mattress was being delivered the day I called to check the status and she asked me if I could go and get it. I don’t drive a truck to transport a mattress, I don’t know who lives at my old home, and I don’t know the gate code. The representative told me that they would send me a new mattress to my correct address because of their error. This is lie #1. She also told me she would send me the tracking number to my email. This is lie #2. I worked from home so I didn’t miss the delivery. After a week, I called again only to be told the mattress was never ordered. The call center representative said she would call me back in the morning to let me know what was going on. This is lie #3. No one ever called. I called later that day to cancel the order. This store was too flaky for me to continue. They told me I had to go into the store to cancel the order and that she couldn’t do it over the phone. This is lie #4. I left work early to be done with this mess and she told me I didn’t have to go into the store to cancel. She said I would no longer be charged for the mattress but I couldn’t get a refund on my down payment. That’s was lie #5. A few days later, a payment was taken from my account. I called yet again. I was told that I had to continue to pay until the canceled order was approved. I asked her to send me an email verifying I will get my money back and she said she would. No surprises here, she never emailed me. I think that’s lie #6. This store is absolutely horrible. No one has ever reached out to me. Not once. No phone call, no email, nothing. I’m tired of calling and waiting on hold for 45 minutes-1hour. Let my experience be a cautionary tale. No customer deserves such treatment.
Ordered six pieces of furniture online, every single one arrived damaged or missing parts. The tv stand I purchased arrived missing the screws and pieces to assemble it, so I was told they would be sending me an entire new unit (which I didn't want, I just wanted the assembly pieces). I then received an email saying the stand was out of stock so they couldn't even send me a new one. So now I have this tv stand I can't assemble taking up space and I have to figure out how to dispose of it. I wrote an unhappy response email and no one replied. I also note they do not reply to negative comments, only positive ones, so it is clear this is not a customer pleasing company. I do not recommend buying from this company at all.

Visited the store and were met with a salesperson who didn’t seem to have any answers, and couldn’t find details in their system of a piece I found online. He got a mgr to assist and the mgr got it all worked out and came up with a price that was less than online so we bought the sofa bed for guests arriving for xmas. Salesperson said piece was available and setup delivery for Dec 12th. On that date I called to get delivery info since no one called me as I was told would happen, and I was told delivery is setup for Jan 15th. I disputed that and she said the piece is not available until Jan 10th and that it was never setup for Dec 12th. I complained and she said she would let the store and their logistics group know of my dissatisfaction and have yet to hear back 2 days later. I’m guessing my complaint went into the complaint bin which sits on the ground next to the desk.

Overpriced
If I could give Ashley Furniture negative stars I would. We just had furniture delivered less then 10 minutes ago and had the absolute worst experience. There is no return policy on the receipt. The delivery men came at the last possible minute to be within the window to which we waited ALL day for on a Saturday for a 7 pm delivery. We told the men that the furniture was not set up right. And for help to rearrange it. They just pressured me to sign the delivery and ran out. Ashley furniture is now refusing to return part of the furniture because it is used. Rest assured after many purchases with Ashley I will NEVER be returning and I will also be telling my entire corporation to never purchase from Ashley either. Update 9/22- after multiple calls to store Gada refused to transfer me to a store manager. She also promised she would call back and never has.

I ordered a full living room and bedroom set from Ashley furniture in Folsom. The entertainment center showed up damaged and had to be returned. The bed and frame did not work either. It is now 7 days later, I have no bed, entertainment center and can not get ahold of anyone from Ashley furniture. Called twice and waited on hold for over an hour. Would not recommend Ashley Furniture!!!!

The customer service is extremely poor. It takes over an hour for them to answer the phone, then they hang up on you, give you the run around, tell you to call someone else. I spent two hours on hold listening to music before talking to an actual person. I was sold an adjustable base with motion sensor lights, which was part of the reason I bought from Ashley, and then the base without the motion sensor lights was delivered. I was told to call the Ashley 800 number, then they referred me to another 800 number, each of which were over one hour on hold. It was very frustrating! Finally, they told me that what was delivered was not what was sold to me, and that it would cost me more to get what the sales person originally told me I was getting. I would not recommend doing business with Ashley. This felt to me like it was “Bait and Switch”.
Is 1 Star the lowest score possible? Maybe the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. First, they tell us we won’t have our couch for a month because I guess you only make one couch at a time? Then, they give me a window for delivery and I request time off from work for that time period just to have you move it up 4 hours earlier. Then, I try getting the hours changed back to what it originally was and I sit on hold for 45 MINUTES. Then, the wrong couch gets delivered. Then, we’re told we have to call the store we purchased the couch from to sort it out except that store doesn’t open until 10am. I call constantly starting at 10am and don’t actually get to talk to anyone until 2pm. Then the movers finally come and get the couch again at 4 pm. Then, a rep tells us you’re out of stock on that couch and won’t be able to get the full couch for another month. (Again, you make this couch one at a time.) So we’re told we can get a partial order delivered tomorrow. We’ve waited this long so we say sure. I get a call and text saying you’ll be there between 12:45-4:45 on Sunday and so I request time off for those hours JUST TO GET A TEXT TODAY SAYING OUR TIME HAS BEEN MOVED UP FROM 8-12. Now, I’m currently on the phone trying to see if I can get it changed back to the original time you told us and I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes now. I imagine the long wait times to talk to reps is because I’m not the only one having these issues. Hopefully tomorrow we can get half of the correct couch and in another month we’ll get the other correct half but I’m not holding my breath.
I had the worst experience ever with my latest furniture delivery. I was supposed to receive a 17 piece order on Wednesday 7/10 but due to mistake at the store with them ordering the wrong size mattress they decided (on their own, without notifing me) that they would not not deliver what was available and I only received 1 item out of my order. I was on the phone for a total of two hours trying to get my my order sent to me. Horrible costumer service and follow through.

Don’t shop here! The Ashley furniture store in Folsom,CA is willing to lie to get your business and, of course, will not do anything to rectify the situation. Went to buy a Tempur-pedic mattress in May 2019, and was told if I don’t like it I could return it as per the Tempur-pedic return policy by my sales rep named Sam. Called back after a month to return the mattress, as Sam told me I could, but found out that Ashley furniture does not have a return/exchange policy and also will not honor the Tempur-pedic exchange policy advertised on a big banner in the mattress section of their store. I am now stuck with a very expensive bed that I don’t like. I am a rational person and don’t usually complain, but I feel it is very important to share my experience with others so they can learn from my mistake of trusting the word of this store and it’s sales reps. Despite Ashley furniture knowing that I was lied to by my sales rep, they were unwilling to own their mistake and at least help me exchange to get store credit. This store has low business standards, and will say ANYTHING to get your money. They use the usual politics and big business scams to get away with it.

They where very helpful I got the most comfortable mattress at a great rate
So far a great experience with Sam on our new couch and bedroom set. Hopefully the delivery and set up is just as smooth! Above is what I initially thought when we ordered a few weeks ago and then delivery came along. Everything went great with our first delivery of the bedroom set and then I got the call to follow up on that delivery so while on the phone, I made sure to confirm our couch delivery for June 30th. I was told it was now set for July 4th and that was the soonest it could be. Keep in mind I told them I could not buy this couch unless it arrived by the 30th as we were moving into a new house, have small kids, and would be hosting something that night. They assured me that there would be NO issues and we were set. I even got a text later that night from Sam telling me everything was taken care of. I made the mistake of trusting them and swiping my credit card - quite the bait and switch. Here we are on July 2nd and after going through a few customer service people and my sales rep we were able to get delivery today. Unfortunately we have been without a couch for a few extra days and hosted people Sunday who got to sit around in camping chairs. I was told the manager would be reaching out a few days ago and crickets. So be careful about listening to their empty promises on delivery dates if you absolutely need something.
My wife and I got an incredible deal on our new dining room, bedroom, and living room set. Jamie was fantastic. We never felt pressured into buying anything - she just gave us information to help us make the best decisions for ourselves. For any future furniture needs, we will be shopping at Ashley Furniture for their great prices and customer service!

Phonomenal customer service and quality furniture. Ahman was very friendly, patient, and helpful. He was available at all times for questions and not pushy at all. He really worked with us to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. He even gave my baby girl some candy, which helped with keeping her distracted. This review is strictly for the manager Arti and the salesman Aman. They were extremely helpful and easy going. Both helped me find exactly what I wanted and gave me a really good deal. I couldn’t be more happy with working with them. I will be coming back to buy from them personally because of the great experience I had. Fantastic customer service, went in for a modual desk for the office , they had a small selection but this professional woman Arti..Took her time and showed me options I had on this big screen.i was a little skeptical being sight unseen but she showed me the wood and texture..So I ordered it and a week later, just as she said and fits great...I will tell all my friends..

My fiancee and I came here to furnish our first home and it was a very pleasant experience. We were helped two women named by Danka and Aarti and they were both extremely helpful, especially coming in with no prior experience furniture shopping.
We had good assistance from a representative and we're concluding our selections when a manager joined in. He made the process much more stressful and almost doubled the time we had already spent in the store. Throughout his pushiness I lost interest in the purchase and only selected a couple items rather than the set I planned to buy. I'll probably go back and ask to deal with the same rep to see if I can leave satisfied.
Customer service was horrible. Online price for a twin bunk bed was $299. In the store it was on memorial day sale for $649. When I told them, they informed me I must be wrong. Then I showed him the online price and they tried to come up with an excuse. Finally they were going to price match their own price, but by this time I had enough. I ended up buying from 1stepbedrooms.com with free shipping. They beat Ashley's price by $75.

We have ordered several pieces from Ashley each time there has been a problem. First starting with delivery services and dates being pushed back numerous time. Now with our current piece the delivery team split the furniture with the box knife while unwrapping snapped a few pictures had me sign and left. We noticed the slit contacted immediate they sent a tech to patch which he was unable to do. Now they are stating that per policy they will send another tech with a part to try and fix it we are going on a month of trying to fix a brand new sofa. I will never purchase furniture again from this organization. What they say and they do does not align.
Beware of them selling you stuff on sale. In addition they sell you the warranty that they do not honor. Bought some furniture with 5 year warranty. Now after one year, a defective item is not accepted by their warranty. Their excuse is tgat i did not report the problem when i detected that.
Very happy with our trip to Ashley. The sales were incredible and we ended up finding everything we needed to furnish an entire apartment at an incredible price. Matt was the salesman that helped us and I can’t say enough good things about him. He was there to help us if we had questions, but gave us our space and time to look around. He was very patient with our indecisiveness and spent a lot of time answering all our questions and helping us get the best deal possible. Love the look and quality of their furniture and can’t wait to have it all delivered!
Products good, sturdy and what I expected. Bought things twice, last time there was a big misunderstanding about when the item would be delivered. I was told one thing and the reality was totally different. I was disappointed and disgusted.
Poor customer at the store level, and a failed delivery Purchased a bed frame a week ago. We had a delivery set for today (2-21-19). I was contacted a couple days before several times, and the time frame changed a little, but no big deal. Drivers showed up on time. However, after about 10 minutes, they said, “we have a problem.” They forgot the headboard. I was really frustrated. The driver was nice apologetic, but didn’t even know what to select on his phone (one option was partial delivery, and he was asking me if he should pick that). How should I know? It ended with him telling me they would leave the pieces here they did have, and come back tomorrow with the headboard. I called the store shortly after, and requested to speak with the manager. A lady took my message, and stated he would call me back. After 4 hours, I decided to call back. Another lady answered. I stated I have waiting for a call back. This lady stated he was in an interview, and that’s why he didn’t call back. I question that. An interview for 4 hours? Is it more important to do an interview, or take care of an existing customer? That seems like a clear to me. The lady told me someone should be calling me to reschedule, but could not tell when they would call, and stated that the drivers should have not told me tomorrow, because it’s probably not going to happen. I can almost guarantee I will have to call again (I hope I am wrong) After I get this frame situation handled (who knows when that’s going to me), I will never want to shop at Ashley’s again. I also wanted to try and give the store the benefit of the doubt given they do not load the trucks and do deliveries. That being said, it was clear from the first phone call today they have no interest in caring either. No apologies, no I’ll have the manager call you back, no empathy at all. Poorly run company on the retail and delivery side.
We can't say enough good things about Danka! She welcomed us at the door with a warm smile, and was incredibly helpful and patient in helping us put together our purchase. The best part was that she talked to her manager in giving us a substantial discount since we were shopping for our living room AND our bedroom. We went to Becks, RC Willey, American Furniture, and LazyBoy, and by FAR, we received the BEST customer service and experience at Ashley. We should've come here first! Thank you Danka for a truly unforgettable experience!
Notified delivery time changed the day before it was originally scheduled. It had been scheduled for the afternoon and then was changed to the morning. After almost three hours of waiting we called and were told that the furniture was never loaded onto the truck yet no one bothered to call and tell us what happened. only remedy offered after 20 minutes on hold was to send an email to the store to ask for a refund of delivery charges. We had already removed our old furniture because they wouldn't take it. Now we have to wait until Saturday or take off another day of work for them to deliver it. Called store to complain and was on hold for a half hour andawas told I was being transferred to a supervisor then they came back on and said they couldn't reach his supervisor only wanted to send us to the delivery service to discuss remedy. Kept wanting to put the blame on delivery staff even though they're the ones that manages the delivery service. once they discovered that the shipment wasn't on the truck they should have rescheduled the appointment for the afternoon instead of leaving us hanging, since the original scheduled time was for the afternoon. Really regret buying this furniture from Ashley furniture. Update: went to store to complain to manager, discuss resolution and compensation. New delivery date of 4 days later and refund of delivery fees and $200 refund. Was supposed to receive all three pieces on Saturday. Tracking showed all three on the truck. Delivery truck showed up without 1 of the couches. Delivery guy said store should have called. The one couch that was delivered was damaged. Had called customer service. Rep didn't like what I had to say and hung up on me twice, called back each time claiming she couldn't hear me. This is a common practice in call centers where the intent is to disrupt the flow of the argument in an effort to get control of the conversation. Was eventually connected with store, told manager was busy. Went out to store for face-to-face resolution again. Receptionist went to office where manager was with 2 other people. A few minutes later he walked out, looked at me then walkedwoff in opposite direction and around the wall. My sister pretended to be a customer and approached him and got him to come to customer service desk. Because the clerk didn't listen to me they were going to to send out another rocking recliner when it should be the couch in addition to the missing couch. Then they told me the replacement couch was back ordered and couldn't give delivery date for couch that wasn't delivered. Walked with no offer of additional compensation and a promise that he was "105% certain" he'd call tomorrow at 11am.
Supposed to have gotten a delivery between 8 and noon. At 7:53am the online app showed we were delivery number one! Yay! then I looked a little deeper and it showed they were already on delivery 3. Strange but whatever, apps screw up. At 11:30, still no furniture, the app shows they were on delivery 8 and I still hadn't heard anything. I called. Turns out they never loaded our stuff on the truck to begin with and no one bothered to call. So now I have no furniture in my house, I'm out a day's pay from work, and they can't redeliver until Saturday because I'm not willing to miss another day's pay on the hope that they'll show up. someone from the local store is supposed to be calling. but then again they were supposed to call me this morning and let me know the delivery wasn't going to happen. Maybe I'll update this review if things improve. Update - Rescheduled delivery and they still screwed up. Only delivered part of it and STILL no phone call to let us know. They just showed up with part of the furniture.
I went into the Folsom store and picked out some artwork (3) pieces. James our salesman was very kind but couldn't get support from management staff. After spending 40 minutes we were asked to come back by Alex (sales manager) in 40 minutes and start all over. Apparently being a sales manager doesn't give the authority to do much.
As always, my Ashley experience was fantastic! Vinnie and Danka were so great to work with. No pressure at all. Patient and professional. I only purchase my furniture from Ashley because of the quality of the products and the quality of service!
We had a fantastic experience. Our salesperson, Angie, was great, professional and knowledge. We found a smoking deal within 5 minutes of walking into the store - a six-piece livingroom set that was only $200 more than what we planned on spending for just a couch. Update - 2yrs later. The couch construction has not held up... the support for the cushions is too meager and does not provide enough support resulting in the cushions sagging a lot...
