I am so grateful for the customer service of Ashley Fremont, especially for Turaab Tahir, the manager who helped me out. I was a Ashley customer and purchased a furniture in Ashley Milpitas. There was a miscommunication and I thought I got a 3-year 0% interests financing. However, I found that I was paying more than $1000 interest in the past 2 years because the promotion is only for 1 year. I went to Milpitas store trying to solve this but it is permanently closed, so I came to Ashley Fremont seeking for help. I understand that I also have the responsibility to find out this much earlier soI really appreciate that Ashley Fremont still helped me out by communicating with the bank. I bought a couch in 2023 and they sold extended warranty for 5 years. Now with less than 2 years of use couch cushions and bed platform are sinking and warranty claim is denied. Not worth worth the spend.

Amazing experience. Isiah was great and spent all the time needed while we were there about different sizes and formations of sectional sofas that will work for our limited space, definitely recommended.

Quality of furniture not so good. Most of the couches we tried here were too soft and sunk in when you sit on them. Found a set that was much firmer and bought. When we got our set delivered it was much more softer then displayed one and within a week it was already flattening out. Cheaply made. Very disappointing paid a lot.

Aslhey is a disappointing place for selling beds, one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I would not buy there again and I would not receive anything even if it was free. I share my experience so that you can be sure of what you buy and do not have bad experiences. I heard the Aslhey ads on TV and thought it would be a good place to buy a new bed for my son and we went there on sale everything was fine and very friendly I thought everything was fine and I bought the bed but when something is too good to be true it is not and then the headache started when they took the order after 5 days it turned out that they only sent me the mattress and the headboard of the bed when I was supposed to have paid for a complete bed they expected me to put the mattress on the floor it was disappointing and more knowing that my son was waiting for his bed I did not accept the product and I called the store that I would return it and they took it away I would not accept something like that then they contacted me saying it was a seller's mistake and they would send me the rest of the bed in 8 days I asked them what I would only accept if they sent me the COMPLETE bed otherwise I would not receive it and they informed me that I would receive it COMPLETE and I accepted but it was another disappointment they came back and brought a large part of the bed but always with missing pieces I think there are too many mistakes by  part of ASLHEY because for god's sake it's just a bed how can it be so complicated to buy something like that I no longer wanted to deal with them and the septe I will buy the missing pieces in another store but what a nuisance and disappointment I will not buy from this place again

Beware - don’t purchase something you are not sure of, you will NEVER get a refund. This store is terrible at handling payments. We went in to buy some furnitures and the agent suggested that we can get something today because of discount and we can easily change our mind and cancel the order if we decided against it later (until the delivery date). So we purchased one extra item. When we cancelled it we never got the full refund. It has been more than 6 months and I have called customer service 10+ times and gone to the store physically many times to get help, but nothing. They refunded me partial amount, and when I spoke to their store manager he seemed to care very little and couldn’t do anything in the end. It’s 100s of dollars of difference and they don’t seem to care. Extremely frustrating!

TERRIBLE customer service They are great at making sales. But they are terrible at solving problems. Twice the truck driver lied that he had been waiting for more than 15 minutes and that there was no one at home. And I have been waiting for my sofa to arrive for almost a month. I am very dissatisfied and frustrated with this store. I will definitely not buy the rest of the furniture for my house there.

Great experience getting my furniture from Ashley’s at the Fremont location. I went to a few stores to look at their display items and Fremont was by far the best with costumer service. Ahsen and Devin were great people and extremely patient helping me find the best deal possible. They worked with me during my visits to make sure I was looking at every possible option and getting the best deal with the furniture of my choice. Will definitely reach out to Devin and Ahsen for any future purchases. Turaab was another agent who helped complete the process and he took the time necessary to ensure I got my delivery on my desired date. Great service in this location, highly recommend

I placed an order and it was supposed to reach me on 10th of Sep. I didn't receive it on time and on calling the store I was directed to a voice mail which said my delivery date is moved to Oct 1st and I got no notification about it. Ashley store was impressive and people were nice showing me things around and helping in picking one for me but then it went downhill as no one picks up the call in store and gets redirected to customer care the whole time. Not recommending this store to anyone if you have a time constraint with your order

We came in for a reclining sofa. The one with three seats is down $100, and is the same price as the two-seated one in the same set we were interested in, so we asked if there would be promos for the two-seated as well. The manager named Bobby responded with an extremely rude and condescending comment, sarcastically remarked that the priced is fixed and we should get two of the discounted three-seated sofa if we want. We don’t even know why he says this what that means. We bought the sofa with original price at last, But we were shocked by his tone and the way he tried to belittle us for not making a large purchase. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and we are very disappointed with the lack of professionalism displayed by this employee. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of the amount they are spending. Would not have further purchase at this store again.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at the Ashley Furniture Fremont location. I visited the store to look for a recliner couch set and spent time trying out a few options. On my way out, I found some cute throws on clearance and decided to purchase a couple. After waiting over 30 minutes at the counter with no line ahead of me, I politely asked the employee assisting me what was causing the delay. To my surprise, another employee named Bobby Banas responded with an extremely rude and condescending comment, stating that if I were buying a $10,000 piece, the process would have been faster. I mentioned that I was considering a $5,000 couch but wanted to think it over before committing. Instead of acknowledging my interest, Bobby sarcastically remarked that I had "wasted" two hours in the store to buy $10 worth of throws and should be willing to wait another 10 minutes. I was shocked by his tone and the way he tried to belittle me for not making a large purchase. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism displayed by this employee. I wish I could give them a few stars, but the service I've experienced makes that impossible. After spending over $5,000 on a bedroom set, I was assured that most of the items, aside from the bed, would arrive within a week. It’s now been over a month, and I haven’t received a single thing. Communication with the store is a nightmare—no one ever answers the phone, and there's no direct line to reach anyone. I've left three messages for customer service to call me back, and I've heard nothing. Now, on day 37, I'm still waiting for my furniture. I'm literally driving there right now just to get some answers. This place is nothing but broken promises. You can get the same products anywhere else with far better service. If it were up to me, I would’ve canceled the order already, but my wife insisted we wait. So, here I am, stuck in this frustrating situation.

I bought a dining set. The table arrived with so many dents and defects in it. Couple of chairs arrived with so much stain and dirt on them. Contacted Ashley for a replacement. They sent a technician to check and he verified the bad quality and promised to send a replacement. I called today and that technician didn't even update the case and I have to wait for the case to be updated and for a replacement to be delivered. Very frustrating and already regretting doing business with Ashley!

I ordered a bedroom set and mattress, a couch and dining set. A week before my delivery date I was informed that my head board would be late. A couple days later I was informed my foot board would be late. When they called the day before I was told the bed frame would arrive late. I am not a 16 year old kid that wants to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Then when they arrived to deliver what was left they informed me my dining set was backordered. After they left I received a call telling me my dining set would arrive late. I had to take today for my furniture to be delivered. Now I have to take one day off for the rest of my bed and another for my dining set. I am currently sitting on hold for over 10 minutes while I write this as I am trying to get this resolved. I will never use Ashley furniture again.

Disappointing Experience with Ashley Furniture I recently purchased dining chairs from Ashley Furniture, but the experience was marred by poor communication, inconsistent information, and a lack of customer support. Initially, I placed an order for in-store pickup in Fremont, but only upon checkout was I informed that the actual pickup location would be Lathrop – a significant difference. To make matters worse, a $100 delivery fee was added after the fact. My delivery was scheduled for the following Friday, but I received a call stating that only 5 of the 6 chairs would be available, with the sixth chair back ordered for 6 weeks. After contacting the main branch, I was assured that my initial request would be accommodated and delivery would proceed as scheduled. However, on Thursday evening, I received another call from the distribution center stating that my entire order was on backorder again for 6 weeks. When I called to clarify, I was told that 4 chairs might be available, but the remaining 2 would be delayed for 6 weeks. These repeated changes and lack of reliable information were frustrating. My attempts to contact the main branch for assistance were unsuccessful, with over 10 calls going unanswered. Due to this poor experience, I canceled my order and purchased my dining chairs from a competitor. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture at this time due to their communication breakdowns and inability to honor their initial commitments.

Came to Ashley Store in Fremont and bought a nice sofa with the help from Gail Shue with really good deal of Memorial Day 2024.

I went to fremont store to order a loveseat. We have finalized the sofa. The manager introduced himself and started to discuss the 5 year protection plan and a discount of $100. I said no to the protection plan and asked to do some discount on the sofa. From that moment the sales guy and manager tone changed and treated us differently. We left the place without buying. I would have completed the order if these guys didnt talk at all. Now I bought the same in Amazon.

Horrible experience so far. Please be VERY CAREFUL with buying from Ashley and particularly at this store, and fully understand the terms and conditions. End of April, we bought two nightstands from this store. At the time of buying, of course the sales person was all sweet and promised the top service. "Any problems with the delivery, please call me, I am here for you". This was all fake, as I found later. He didn't take any time to explain the return policies. The delivery happened 2 weeks later. The two guys who delivered were careless. One of them bumped the nightstand twice on the door frame and wall. They were in a rush to leave, and shoved a tablet in front of me to sign indicating acceptance of the delivery. It was a big mistake for me to sign! After they left, I went back to inspect the nightstands, and for one of them, one of the drawers was badly chipped at the back, to the point that you can't keep anything in the drawer. The base will fall off! So I immediately called customer service, and they said I have to send them photos so that they can evaluate and then they will send a technician to fix it. I told them the experience was not good and I wanted to return the nightstand. They told me to contact the store if I want to return. When I contacted my sales person, all the service-promises disappeared! He said that their policy is not to accept returns after the delivery is signed. He flatly said he couldn't help and I have to work with customer service to get the drawer fixed. I asked to talk to the sales manager and he promised me that the sales manager would call me back. That was 3 weeks back - so far, no call! Meanwhile I send photos of the damaged drawer to customer service. They acknowledged it's broken, and they would send a replacement drawer in 7-10 business days. After 10 days - no replacement drawer yet! I call back, and now I am told that the drawer is back-ordered, and there is a 2-month delay. I asked for replacement of the entire unit, they have said they would call me back in 2-3 business days. Will see ... Bottom line: DON'T ACCEPT FURNITURE VIA SIGNATURE UNLESS YOU ARE SURE NOTHING IS BROKEN / DAMAGED. FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RETURN POLICY AT THE TIME OF BUYING. DON'T FALL FOR FAKE SALESPERSON PROMISES WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ONLY SELLING AND ZERO POST-SALES SERVICE.

I’m new to purchasing something big for my home and I swear it did not feel right to give them my info for just a mattress. I ended up giving my info as they said it’s just for an “credit check”, and I repeatedly told them I want to use my credit card to purchase it and I do not want a credit card from them. They kept saying okay that’s fine. Cristina was the one that helped me and she’s the biggest sleazy ball. A few days after I purchased my mattress, I received an alert from Chase indicating that there’s a new credit card in my name and whatnot. I was livid and went to the store and she told me that oh it’s just a “gift card” and you can still make payments using your credit card. I was sort of speechless and pissed and I wished that I said more but I always let people walk over me. And of course it’s a CC because there is no way to pay with another CC because it’s a CC! You have to use your bank account. So the sleazy saleswoman really signed me up for a credit card app without my consent but technically sure since I gave them my info but it was a total lie why they wanted it. Just please take it from my terrible experience and not to proceed a purchase when they keep pushing you to give them your sensitive info. Just be aware and cautious as they tell their employees that their Ashley’s credit card is not a CC but it’s a “gift card”, just to get people to sign up for it.

I ordered 1 bed, 1 dresser, 1 chest and 1 night stand at Asley last September. It took them 1 and a half month to be delivered. After that my nightmare begins. The leg of the bed was broken on the day they assembled, 1 drawer of the dresser couldn't be closed completely, and 1 drawer has dirty stain. Then I asked technician come and after 2 weeks they came and told me they need to order new replacement parts for me. Then I waited from November until March and none of them have been delivered. Every time I called the service, they just told me the delivery time is postposed for another month because the parts are not ready. I don't know why it's so difficult for them to manufacture a single leg of the bed. All we have to do was lay carefully on the bed and hope not to crush it. I don't know when on earth I could receive those parts and have a good sleep on the expensive bed I bought. I will never buy at Ashley again. Another point is that they hired 3rd party staff to deliver and assemble the furniture. They are really unprofessional and careless.

Bought two luxury chairs and on delivery noticed defective and reported on the same time even the delivery man acknowledged and I had reported and raised case immediately on the same day and waiting for either replacement or store credit but after continuous follow up replaced one of the defective chairs and refused to do the other. In fact this is not a place to buy as they don’t respect customers and once defective components delivered then don’t bother to get it fixed. I will never ever go to them and caution others too.

Neal Thorpe was my sales rep and he was so awesome and very patient and he is very knowledgeable about the different fabrics and the different couches and he helps you find what fits your needs and you’re comfortability physically and stress relief after 2 1/2 hours I was able to walk away as a satisfied and happy customer. I bought 4 dark grey dining chairs from them, and they all smell like gasoline. My entire living room smells like gasoline now. Paid 100$ for a delivery and got smelly, oily chairs.

Asen and the manager were very helpful and professional. The Manager made an offer I could not refuse. This is the 3rd time I am buying from Ashley because their quality is outstanding, spanning over 15 years now.

I recently purchased a bed and couch from Ashley and James our sales person was extremely helpful and kind. All the employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were so impressed with the service we returned for a kitchen table and a bed set.

Had a bad experience with delivery; order was placed on 11/24, part of the delivery was suppose to delivered on 12/16 but didn’t happened. Had to visit local store 3 times, make promised me it will be delivered on 12/22 but again no delivery. Finally items were delivered on 12/29 after Christmas.

Horrible, horrible place of business. Snarky salesmen (Vemal I think his name was?) that follow you around and pester you when you're trying to shop and discuss with your family. Was discussing with my son on how to layout his room, and this salesman was giving condescending remarks on everything - mind you he has no idea how the room or house even looks but still decided to chime in on our planning. I had to buy furniture for my empty house and this was the only place nearby, so naturally just bought from them - if I had known about Living Spaces before I wouldn't have even dealt with these morons. Delivery team was even worse than their incompetent sales team. Had to drive 4 hours roundtrip to my new house from my old place and wait only for them to cancel and reschedule delivery without notice. I HAD TO CALL THEM and ask why they weren't coming. Had to make the 4 hour roundtrip another day just for them to deliver chipped and broken furniture LOL. Made a THIRD 4 hour roundtrip to then get that broken stuff replaced. Just terrible terrible people that should never allowed to sell or deliver anything in their lives. Please look into Living Spaces instead and don't make the mistake I made!!!

They have no respect for their customers time. They will call, then email, then sms to triple-confirm a time for delivery time and then not respect it. "sorry the item is not in the store and you have to wait one more week!" Do NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I recently bought a Bedroom set from here and apart from loving the whole set up I enjoyed working with the sales person and Devin the store manager. They both made it an enjoyable experience for me and my family.

Good collection. I had a look at the sofas here to get an idea, and bought the same item in a smaller store 40% cheaper. IMO, if the products are reasonably priced, with Ashley's branding you don't need that many sales guys. Suggest the store to relook at cutting cost and passing it on.

I had the opportunity to work with James Scottins as I searched for some new furniture. James was knowledgeable, patient, and had great energy. I enjoyed my experience at Ashley Furniture in Fremont, and this was all based on the interaction I had with my salesperson. I will be back to give them more of my business.

This really sucks as my fiancee and I love the quality of their furniture. However, when it takes two months to NOT get your furniture, nor be upgraded to what is in stock. Then have Devin, the store manager, blatantly lie to my Fiancées face and try to claim he called multiple times when we have caller ID these days and logs. Also promised, "If it's not in by these dates, it'll be free." Just to renig. We ended up going to Living Spaces to pay more for less, but at least it'll be delivered on time, saving Thanksgiving and the proposal.

Save yourself time and go to Living Spaces. I ordered a dining table online. It was delivered damaged, so I contacted Ashley, waited 2 weeks for a technician who came in, took a picture and left, telling me to call the next day and they’d send a replacement. It took him a week to finished the notes, 2 weeks and 6 calls later there is still no progress with the replacement table. Every call to customer service is the exact same, ending with “please allow 24-48 hours to be contacted” which never happens. Ordered the table in September and have went the entire month of October with no replacement. At this point I would rather just have a refund so that I could shop elsewhere. 0 Star experience from this store.

This is my first time shopping from Ashley And I have the worst experience with them I placed my order 24 August and i paid for the delivery and my order ar same day. date for delivery was 5th October I didn't receive confirmation and not my order I called them they Said wait until November 13th and they didn't help me they said this is customer service it is not salesperson then I went to store they said we send email to warehouse and ... And they said if we couldn't do anything we will do refund after two months refund which horrible. The worst customer service experience

Very bad experience I ordered furniture from Ashly missing two items

Our delivery is missing since a month. now came here they don't know how to locate it. Very frustrated they keep change dates . Now here for more than 30 minutes no response.

This store is the worst customer service I have ever seen, the manager is never pleasing look, you have to fight for everything, initially they chargers 300 dollars for shipping and then I have to explain them that other stores (not Ashley) are giving free shipping, and then every other store has 300 gift card for specific mattress this store does not have, I have to fight to get it. I bought 4200 dollar worth of material and I had paid 900 dollar more and with lot of fight I got it back. I never ever go to this shop. I only have option to give 1 start otherwise I would give 0

Wonderful customer service!

I purchased a sofa sleeper from there. The sales representative assured me that the sleeper would be as flat as a real bed. When I tried it in the store, it worked really well. However, after I received the sofa sleeper, it started sinking towards the middle at an angle of about 9 degrees, which has been causing significant discomfort to my back. A technician came to inspect it and claimed that the sinking is normal and not a defect. When I contacted customer service about this issue, they informed me that they would only go by the technician's inspection result. This means that it's apparently acceptable to have a significant disparity between the furniture they delivered and the promises made by the sales representative or the furniture on display, as long as there is no defect detected by their technician

We had the most horrible experience at Ashley. Furniture quality is extremely bad and smells to a point to make you sick. Ashley had the worst customer service and support - and they just want your money - don’t care about the customer experience at all.

Female Manager RACISM!!! Well, here are two managers. The male manager is very nice. Every time I go there, I look forward to him being there. He helps me solve problems such as purchase, transportation, installation, etc. So I spent a total of about 10,000 US dollars to buy furniture here for our new home. This time I came here to buy another coffee table and met the female manager. First of all, as a guest, I have never felt so disrespected. She slumped on the sofa and didn't even get up to have a proper conversation with me. I came two days in a row because we didn't agree on the price on the first day and she treated me very badly. Come to her the next day and tell her to accept the 10% discount she offered yesterday. She treated me with an even more arrogant and rude attitude. I ordered couches and between the time I ordered them and their scheduled delivery date the store called me to notify me that the couches were discontinued. We found a workaround and I settled for display models from Emeryville (mind you I live in San Jose) at a discounted price which also now included a coffee table set. I thought great I’m getting an even better deal. I financed my couches through acima Christina said that she would make the proper adjustments for the new discounted rate and she has not yet done so. I have called the store several times to speak to her about the matter and she or whoever answers the phone says she will call me back but THEY NEVER DO! So now I’m adjusting my rating until the matter is fixed. *original review * Tom and Cristina were a great help. They helped my find the best living room set it was a quick and easy process. I am 6’2” and was in need of the right height dining chair (24”) and smaller 36” round table. Alondra Cruz Torrebl was patient, kind, and professional. I wish I could give minus stars, Worst place to buy furniture from, the sales Rep named Tham is specially the worst. He doesnt know what he is doing. We purchased the Trinell 72" entertainment centre from him and asked him to set it up for the whole thing for delivery and full setup. While creating the order for us he only applied the delivery and set up to the fireplace insert and rest of the pieces he marked as direct ship. We also asked him while paying about it and he said that didnt mean anything. Our entertainment centre was supposed to arrive on 23 august and they were supposed to set the whole thing up for us but the boxes started arriving through fedex just 2 days after placing the order, and after calling the store, We were informed that there is no setup included apart from the fireplace insert, that is when Tham called us telling that he made a mistake while setting up our order and now he will personally visit our home to set it up for us. its been over 3 weeks we have been waiting for him to come but he keeps giving excuses each time we call him and hasnt showed up so far. After getting frustrated looking at the boxes we already set up the TV stand and today the fireplace insert was delivered, now the delivery team that arrives does not speak single word of english they damaged the tv stand shelf while installing the fireplace insert also there is a big foam piece inside the fireplace. and Ashley store doesnt have a technician available untill september 13 . Which is another 14 day away. Overall it has been a nightmare buying from this particular sales person. Ashley definitely needs to train their sales reps and installation techs better.

This was my first ever visit to Ashley and everything just clicked in terms of what I wanted to buy. Neal was amazing from the moment I entered the store. This Ashely store rocks! We had excellent customer service from Isaiah, Sahara, and Devin. They were patient with us as we looked through and decided what we wanted, and helped us with any questions we had. In the end we also got a great deal on some items that we were looking for.

Neil and Devin the manager went above and beyond to help us find our sofa. They stayed out past 9pm which is their closing time to give us the best deal possible. They also told us that they’ll give us free delivery if we come back again. We will be back soon to find a coffee table!

I recently ordered recliners for my living room and i did not want a fancy one. I worked with a sales person and the store manager Devin to help me choose the best color and style because i did not know much about them. They were all very nice to me but something with wrong with the POS system, Devin came up to the customer service desk and asked the office staff if she can assist me with the sale. She was very nice and great attitude and wrote the sale as a home delivery so quickly for me. I was out the door with my new recliner in an hour. I had a very good experience and would gladly come back to the Fremont store.

I had an issue with my delivery (delivery team refused to assemble my furniture even though I paid extra for these services). I called Ashley Furniture nearly every day to try to get someone to assemble the furniture and most individuals were not helpful, did not provide any meaningful updates, or didn’t seem to care about the matter. However, 6 days after the original delivery, I spoke with Cristina at the Fremont Ashley and after she got involved, the furniture was assembled within 24 hours (she even followed up after the assembly to ensure the issue was resolved properly). While the overall situation was an absolute nuisance and extremely frustrating, Cristina was incredibly helpful and I certainly appreciated her assistance with this matter

This is my go to furniture shop in the bay area. They have high quality furniture with with competitive pricing. I recently purchased a mattress and Ahsan helped me out to find the right mattress based on my requirements, i am 100 satisfied with the customer service . This review is mainly for the delivery and after sales support: We ordered a "BRAND NEW" dining table and chair set. The selection and sales process was smooth however on the day of the delivery we noticed that the table top of the dinning table had a scratch and one of the table had damage mark. I refused delivery but the delivery team told me they need to open a ticket and cannot take it back. They opened a ticket and assured that the items will be replaced and also took pictures. The customer service folks dispatched a team to take a look and told me that they will not replace it but fix it instead. I told them that I had paid for new items and refurbished items and would need a replacement. The story now changed by the customer service stating that I allowed the delivery and after this the items cannot be replace but only fixed. After all this I was assured by the technician on site that after the items are fixed we will get a call and if we are still not satisfied they will replace the items. Turned out that this was a short story and I have never received any call from any rep from Ashley to follow up and close on this. The after support team is nothing but a bunch of rude liars who really don't care after an item is sold and will go give many excuses and not do what is promised. Beware of what you buy and where! Just editing this review to add the comments from the generic reply sent by Ashley. To clarify not everything was delivered based on what we paid for (bought new items) but got the items delivered were damaged.

We went in to browse around, there was my husband, my kid and myself. We felt unwelcome, there was an older Chinese sales lady there being rude toward us and telling us that they won’t be held responsible for if our child falls in the store. She spoke Mandarin to us and followed us around the store. It came out of nowhere and we saw her again after a few min and she’s saying similar kind of comments. It’s rude and uncalled for, she basically kicked us out of the store. Let’s just say that we won’t consider buying from Ashley’s for anything. I have never felt this way being a parent, it’s like I am in the wrong for having a kid.

Rude people in dining area, no business being a salesman.

Recently moved to the Bay Area and went into this store along with my family to shop for a dining table and chairs. The young salesperson in the section was easily the rudest and most condescending person I’ve encountered in my new home town. He was so obviously rude that my 9 year old piped up and said I can answer that. @AshleyFurniture - Your brand is can be better than this.

Clean and nicely laid out.

Absolute worst service experience. Never purchasing anything from this particular store or Ashley furniture. Went in to purchase a couch, the sales representative charged us for a warranty which we had already declined but we’re still charged for, until my husband pointed it out and asked for a refund. We were told that it would come in separate boxes and will be assembled in the apartment. The couch was delivered in its entirety and wouldn’t fit into the elevator. The sales associate or customer service couldn’t do anything besides cancel our order. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere

Stalking customers while they're browsing is a terrible way to treat customers. Not to mention the couches were mostly stiff and way too expensive for what they were.

Nice and comfortable environment and Associate Sarah there was a great help to figure out what we needed.

Walking through the store you feel the positive aura; beautifly arranged. Devin and his team knew their furniture. They provided excellent service and would revisit for more purchases. Love our table and sofa quality.

When we 1st got there a woman kept following my son and I around, it was very annoying. My son and I were ready and couldn't find anyone

Sarah P. was incredible knowledgeable and friendly! She made buying furniture really fun and engaging. She made my wife and I really comfortable as we tried out all the couches in the store and even offered to dim the lights while we laid on one of the sofas! You will not find a more helpful, friendly, and funny sales person. Thank you Sarah!

Purchased a wall art from the store for 180$. Went home and looked the same up on their website and saw that it its on a discounted rate for 149.99$. Called the store for a price match and they asked me to come in all the way. Such a poor customer experience and process. Would recommend anyone purchasing here to look up the same product on their website to see if it's discounted online to get a lower rate.

Tanaia and Paula were superb! We had ordered some items at Ashley’s (in the former Milpitas location), which had initially been delivered in a slightly different color (an honest mistake from the delivery team, not the salesperson). They were able to not only fix our issue (which we had struggled to do by phone), but also to change part of our order (loveseat to a sofa) while maintaining the discounts that had been applied. They really went above and beyond, and are excellent customer service workers (respecting both the employer as well as the customer). Thank you for your help!

Went to this store last week. We were attended to by Esmeralda. I usually don't take the help from store assistants since they tend to force their way, but she was totally different. Right in the beginning, she said I am here to help, not to sell. The conversation had just begun. We checked a lot of sofas, area rugs, dining tables together. Discussed kids' nurseries, schools, bay area & what not. She went onto spend hours with us with matters beyond furniture & we came out as happy customers. Though we could not buy a lot of things we wanted to buy, it was a beautiful experience & would love to visit the store again & again. To my surprise, everything they had in the store was pretty affordable & many of them had free shipping option too.

The manager is very rude. Asked why the price in other Ashley store is cheaper than than his seems he got angry. No room for any negotiation in store. We ended up on buying the same piece of furniture dinning table from Ashley's website for 200$ cheaper with expensive (compared to website) warranty what they were offering. Store is good for window shopping dont waste time in talking to sales or manager.

I went to the Milpitas store and then got to know that it’s being shutdown (not shutdown shutdown but moving to Fremont). I realized that there is new one in Fremont so visited this one. This seems bigger and nicer and at a very good location :) One thing I forgot that staff is nice and careful about the belongings if someone forgets there. They keep it safe. I lost my phone and they gave it back after the identity check 😊 They have variety of options in furnitures and bedding. Discount is always confusing though. How come they always have pretty decent discounts (talking about Ashley not this particular store)

Yesterday I went to Ashley furniture in Fremont. They recently opened this beautiful store. They have a good collection of furniture. James Scroggins was my sales person. He is the most knowledgeable sales person I have ever met. He explained me about the product very well. Very friendly and courteous.

Ashley furniture has a wide selection, amazing staff and high quality furniture. Very helpful and honest sales team.

The manager was very rude. When we politely refused on taking the care package he got angry and said “Don’t come to my store if something goes wrong” We ended up on buying the same piece of furniture from website for 100$ cheaper.

I am moving from Arizona to California. The online Ashley's website was faulty and not allowing me to place an order. I called into the Fremont location and was directed to James who placed my order. James was so incredibly nice and his customer service was excellent. He was such a pleasure on the phone! He also gave me the best possible price for my purchase, which I greatly appreciated. I came to this store for their grand opening. Amazing collection of furniture and very respectful sales personnel. Fozia was our salesperson who helped us find the furniture we wanted.

This store is beautifully laid out but the run around they give you when they screw up your order is ridiculous and nobody knows what is going on, the wherehouse can't give you answers to why they screwed up and then to get your money back is a joke! Nobody can tell you names of upper management or give you a direct number to contact the accounts office, the guy who sold the furniture to us was knowledgeable and great at his job and the lady who has been trying to get me answer is also doing a great job, but I'm getting the run around and I can't imagine why this store was recommended to me. Who the hell owns this? I think the reason for the person not showing his name is because of the lousy way they handle their mistakes. Dont get me wrong there's always room for human error, but come on be honest and take ownership of the situation and fix it. Unless you can purchase on the spot and take home your furniture that same day , I don't recommend it!

This place sucks Big time... poor. Everything

I am very upset as the furniture supposes to come today but it hasn't arrived. Even worse, nobody even called me. When I called the store, I was transferred to another line for waiting than got disconnected by saying "Good bye". What hell of the store? How could they stay in the market during business like that? I am going to the store and going to cancel the order by talking their manager.

I've been wanting to get a sofa and coffee table and wasn't satisfied with the local options (I live in SF). I read really bad reviews about Ashley furniture here and on yelp, so I was really skeptical. But I figured that since they are still in business, then it must mean they at least have some happy customers, right? So I took the chance and went there to take a look. I asked about other discounts and the sales told me that there's a special 25% off Chinese New Year discount (I am Chinese) but I needed the coupon from a Chinese newspaper. I called my brother to look for me and waited there, eventually another staff came by and told me he could give me the discount anyway. That was 2/21, and my furniture arrived on 3/10 which was not bad at all. I don't usually review things but all these negative reviews didn't reflect my experience with them.
