We purchased a dining table. Our salesman Cody was great. He greeted us and introduced himself. Cody told us of all the sales for that week. Pointed us in the direction of what we were looking for. He did check in on us every now and then to see if we had questions. He answered them. He again left to browse, no pressure on his part. When we found a table we purchased it. He throughly explained the process of delivery. Hats off to him. Thank you Cody.

I purchase a recliner from Ashley store 12/10/24, but when it was delivered it was not the one I choose, I called the store and reported the mishap I was told that Ashley store don’t take back furniture , I tried talking to the store manager he never came to the phone, I called my credit card company explained to them, so I am now disputing the charge, Because I will not pay for something I didn’t chose, this recliner is poorly made. I went to Fashion Furniture and got what I wanted.

We came in for a couch and Alma helped us find the perfect couch over a 2 day span. She was patient while she took us through every couch in the store and even helped us look online. The manager, Luis, was very friendly and helpful. Alma and Luis really took care of us, in Spanish, and made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend!

Moe is the example of a true customer service professional. Even though we were in previously (twice) trying to decide on new furniture pieces, Moe made sure we were never rushed, pressured or guilted to purchase anything. Quite contrary, he kept his friendly and helpful demeanor the entire time, even though we didnt make a purchase till our 3rd visit. Came in a few times to look at furniture. I always have a difficult time when the sales associate smother you and don’t actually let you look. Kevion was not that person. We came in and he asked if we needed help. Directed us in the right area and gave us space to shop. We came back a second time with the intention to buy and his customer service was awesome. Always very respectful and gave us some privacy so that me and my wife could talk. The manager Luis was also very helpful.

We love this store! We come here for all of our furniture and accessories for our home. We are always helped quickly by Nick. He listens to what we say and suggests furniture that fits our needs and wants. All of the managers are super helpful as well and paperwork is always done efficiently and correctly. Store is clean and bright. Always a good shopping experience!

My husband and I went in to check out some sectional couches since we are moving and needed an upgrade. First of all, the lady that greeted us butchered my husband’s name twice and didn’t even apologize for it, but I brushed it off and we continued to look. We looked around a bit for about 20 minutes, the selection wasn’t too impressive but I saw one that I was slightly interested but wanted it in a different color. I stopped and asked an associate for help not knowing that he was already helping a couple until he told me. He asked me if it was a quick question and I told him “no, I have several such as pricing and other things” so he was well aware I was looking for undivided assistance. He gave me a break down of the price of the sectional and told me they couldn’t custom order it in another color, which is what I wanted. I told him I was looking maybe for something blue or green, and instead of telling me “we might have something in stock but let me help these people first then I’ll come help you” or “let me find another salesperson to help you” all he told me was “okay have a good day” and scurried back to his customers. Even my husband was shocked, stating how rude it was to dismiss me like that. If that was the case, then don’t offer to help me at all. I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years and currently work in consumer relations and I KNOW I’d never give that same energy to any of my clients. At least let your customer know that you can find them assistance or give them some help once you’re free. Yikes. And his professionalism was poor tbh. I get that they make commission, but shoot even a car salesman has more professionalism than that. We ended up purchasing our sectional from Bob’s across the way. Pricing and experience was -10/10.

The woman was patient with me and allowed me to find the couch i had seen before. I tried the couch i originally thought i wanted but went with the one i found & liked. She even wrote off the delivery cost.

They are the worst to call and the customer service can’t help you because you have to talk to someone in that store but they never pick up the phone so it sends you to there 1800 customer service and they tell you to call the store so they can help you it’s been three months and I’m still waiting on my end table Go anywhere but here

Jose was an excellent sales advisor. He greeted us as we came into the store and asked us how our day was going. He then asked what we were looking for. When we explained that he showed us a few options and told us where else in the store to look. He gave us plenty of space and time to browse. I think he checked on us an appropriate number of times and timed everything perfectly. Can’t wait for our new furniture to arrive next week.

The Ashley home store in Fresno has terrible customer service. My husband and I purchased a new mattress and was told if we didn't like it we could return it. Every day I wake up with a sore back! I spoke to the manager and he pretty much said I was lying when I expressed what I was told. My husband will no longer deal with them and now I wake up with a sore back every day! Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else!

Experience at the store shopping was good. Nice people but took a long time to deliver the product almost 5 weeks. Delivery went well, but you do have to set up all your furniture.

I order furniture in August and till this day I am still waiting for my kitchen stools and bed frame. I specifically went with Ashley Furniture since they promised to expedite my furniture. 3 months wait is ridiculous

PLEASE BE VERY WARY WHILE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION!! Did not receive no clarification from Jerry Lowe (the sales rep who helped us) about the color of the couch he had ordered for us. It then arrived in the wrong color we picked. And since then, Ashley’s customer service has been refiling claims, and asking us to wait 48-72 hours for a reply. It’s been over a week now and still no response. And They refuse to connect me with a supervisor when asked. Then I was told to wait another 24-48 hours for Ashely’s Homestore to speak with Jerry Lowe to confirm his side of the story. This was Monday. I had told customer service that this can’t be true because Jerry Lowe works Thursday-Monday? As shown on his Ashely’s Homestore business card given to us. So I asked why would that be the reason I wait for a response if those are his days off? Because the store management had lied about this, I then asked customer service to contact me to the store before I had to drive in. But the store refused to answer the four calls from customer service about my problem. We then drove to the store at 7502 N. Blackstone Ave, 93720 to talk with Steven ( The manager) who claimed he was not aware of our situation at all… but then later on before we left the store, he mentioned how he knew about our situation all along??? and that’s why they had our papers aside ready for us so when we had walked in, they can refuse us a refund our exchange… We were then told to contact customer service who then told us to wait another 48-72 hours and still refuse to connect me to a supervisor. In all from the staff to the management and customer service have all been very unprofessional. For a manager to claim to not know about the situation, but then put papers in our face and explain that he had them ready for us to disregard our situation and why they can’t help us. And too, the customer service who asked us to keep waiting 48-72 hours while getting no response, time and time again, and not allowing us to speak to someone higher in management about the way we’ve been being treated. Is very unfair and unprofessional… I plan to leave an update response once this situation is settled.

Furniture was delivered 2 months after the original estimated delivery date, which would be fine, except you have to spend ages on hold to get a real person to give you information. Once delivered, part of my furniture was damaged (unnoticed at first). Now spending more time on an endless hold. The sales people and store itself were fine, however I will never order from Ashley again!

I purchased a bed and kitchen table on 07-13-2024. The delivery date was 07-19-2024, however, my kitchen table arrived damaged. I was asked if I was willing to keep the table which I obviously declined as I paid full price. The delivery men left the bench and chairs and stated they would reach out that same day to reschedule a new appointment day to drop off a new table. It is now 07-23-2024 and have not heard back from Ashley furniture. Upon calling the store I was put on hold for an overwhelming amount of time without a response. At this point, I am furious as I paid 3,000 and still no kitchen table. Not only did I take a day off work for the delivery that was unsuccessful but now I am having to chase down a store without a response. Horrible customer service. Please come pick up what was left and return my money ! Horrible service! Stay away!!!

Such a bad experience we had at ashley store, bed came broken and they said we need to wait for 15 days to replace it and they cannot cancel or exchange the bed, they lie to sell their product, make sure to have a written proof what they are saying. We came in to purchase a bed and kitchen table. Upon arrival, the associate Nancy was very diligent to ensure she was listening to our needs. She was patient and took her time despite our indecisiveness. Nancy did not make us feel uncomfortable or pressured and teamed with her manager Tony to accommodate my family’s needs. HOWEVER, when closing the deal, the Sales Manager Tung stepped in. To be quite frank, he was abrasive and demeaning to Nancy questioning her. As a customer, it was offensive and unprofessional. UPDATE : stay away read all these negative reviews experience. The brand use to mean a Quality … not anymore the customer service is horrendous…. Despite Nancy being a good sales rep. That’s was the positive experience. A table was delivered on two separate occasions damaged missing work on each occasion(2 times)! Now this rude (aka manager Daniel) has the nerve to tell my wife they will repair it seamless. NO WE DID NOT pay for a repair we paid for a BRAND NEW product !!! THEN he insults my wife by telling her that she was lucky to be receiving $100 dollars and some change back for the inconvenience of missing work after she lifted it to corporate attention and was told this by another representative. Steer clear away as possible as they are only in it to take your money a leave ( literally). I regret buying here and wish that I could have taken my business elsewhere. Corporate doesn’t do much and neither do the store manager other than say I am sorry. It is such a disappointment and will now me contacting the Better Business Bureau I’m tired of my wife having to deal with people trying to manipulate, lacking integrity, and being a person of their word. If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently moved to Fresno and decided to go Ashley store. It was issues since day 1. I am not happy with the experience from the store or customer service. I bought a dining table and now I cannot return it and no one has been able to help me, I was never told about any cancellation or refund policy. First it was delivered on the wrong date and time it took two weeks to get it delivered from the promised date. When it finally arrived the table was damaged. I called customer care was told all sales are final and there is no policy that say I can return the table. I called the store to speak to the manager after many attempts talking with customer service to fix the issue I’m told that he or she is on a conference call and he will tell me the same thing customer care is telling me. I feel I’m being bullied to keep something that is damaged and I no longer want due to horrible experience and stress they are put me through. UPDATE: The store has not addressed any of my concerns like it was posted on the review response. I just keep getting the run around. I have emailed and still nothing. This is a nightmare

Went to the Ashley Furniture store and was greeted by the sales lady AJ. She was very polite and very professional. I would highly recommend going to her anytime. She is also very honest and friendly. Great service!

Genuinely disappointed in the service from Ashley in Riverpark, Fresno. I read the reviews online about the service there so tried going online instead. My wife and I placed an order together on my iPhone one afternoon. We both confirm seeing the message our order had gone thru. Even gave us a delivery date then of May 3rd which worked great since my wife was scheduled to be off work. The next day realized I hadn’t received a confirmation email so reached out to customer service and was informed that my order had actually not gone thru. The agent asked me if I had used an iPhone to place my order which I said yes. (It would not be a stretch to say at this day and age that Apple iPhones are the most commonly used mobile devices. Right?) To my surprise the agent explained that I needed to place the order again but this time not from an Apple device (iPhone or MacBook) because their system has an issue with processing orders placed from Apple devices. I don’t own a PC so I ended up having to go in to the Riverpark Ashley Store on my lunch break on May 11, 2024. Walked in and was assisted by Jose Flores who overall was great. He allowed me to vent about my online experience and after explaining to him I only had a 1hour lunch break he got me checked out as fast as he could. Very nice of him. Unfortunately he took the wrong serial numbers off their display and I had no way of being able to notice since Ashley itemizes their store receipts with only a serial number or sku. There is no mention of a style name or color being purchased. Unless a customer can translate or memorize the sku/serial number it makes it very difficult to catch an error or miscommunication. I trusted Jose had gotten the information he needed to place the correct order. It took a week for the King Bed to deliver so it delivered today May 11. As the delivery team, lead by the driver Molina, was bringing the items in I stepped away to allow them to put the king panel bed with storage footboard together. After a bit I went back in to check their progress and found out the color was grey and not white like I had asked Jose to order the day I visited the store. I stopped Molina and he assured me that everything was fine. I was ok to use the bed since a mistake was made on the order and that Ashley customer service would take care of the exchange. We took him at his word and then decided we’d head to the store right away to talk to customer service and make the correction. On our arrival the rep at the door directed us to speak to one of the cashiers who initially indicated yes there does appear to be an error in what was placed compared to what was pulled and delivered. We walked over to where the item was displayed in the store and explained to her how great my interaction with Jose went on the day of the order. The cashier walked over to confirm the color of the order that was placed by mistake and the color or the Robbinsdale bed that we asked for. We waited about 10 minutes for her to speak to the store manager and then she called us over to speak to him. I started in having to once again explain our situation to him. Noticing that while I was speaking to him he was actually distracted by his phone (An iPhone) as he fidgeted with it thru-ought our whole interaction. I was optimistic all the way up until I spoke to the manager. At that point the whole visit felt like a waste of time. Even tho the store associate ordered the wrong color bed they made it clear that they took no responsibility for his mistake. They went on for about 5 minutes telling me what I should have done. Honest criticism for the manager is that he does not belong in customer service. I smiled at him as our interaction began and he didn’t change his facial expression. The team did nothing for us even despite initially telling us that there was an error the cashier had noted in the system. The manager told me that he is not allowed to make decisions on returns and that he was tied by corporate and only they could make decisions on matters like this. I will never shop here again.

New purchase delivered on 5/4/24 I went to several local stores never shopped at Ashley, I will never come back. On delivery day the delivery guy was using a box cutter to unwrap the couch and were very sloppy they placed the couch against the wall 2 hrs later I moved the couch to plug something in and noticed he cut the couch I immediately called the store was told to call customer care which I opened a claim I guess I asked for a new couch as I haven’t even sat on them yet they advised if they couldn’t repair they would replace the couch. Today on 5/8/24 we get a call saying they can’t repair the cut they will have to order a whole new back side I keep asking why should I have to go through this trouble if I’m not the one who causes the damage I purchased something new I want a replacement they said no the tech will make it look new ( NOT THE POINT I BOUGHT SOMETHING NEW I WANT IT NEW NOT ALREADY REPAIRED FOR SOMETHING I DIDN’T DO). called local store Daniel advised same information let them try to fix it I tried to explain not fair I’m paying thousands of dollars and I have to get a repaired item already he said yes that’s how process works, I asked to take it back he said sales are final read back of contract , I said what if I don’t like how it looks he said you can’t complain because we removed staples or stitching, they won’t even take any money off I would be happy with that .This might not happen to you but what if it does , just think twice before giving this place your money they will run you in circles as to who has the final say. Take your money somewhere else save yourself the frustration if it does happen to you

Bought a headboard on clearance and after we got home from picking it up, most parts were missing or broken. I didn't check for the screws or bolts because I trusted their wear house manager. Hopefully they keep their word to order and replace the parts.

He gave us a very quick introduction on the store layout and let us take our time, which we did and he was extremely patient with us. We ended up purchasing a 4 piece sectional and a dining set and couldn't be more happy with our purchase, but even more with our experience at Ashley's. In store customer service was great, but outside of that it was terrible. They cancelled my order delivery date 4 times before actually delivering my couch. I ended up waiting an extra month and a half to get the couch. It’s a nice couch but it was a frustrating experience.

The sales men told me they are in the stock at the warehouse and gave me a date and said it would be the following week but I won’t receive both items and I asked him to push it out to the following week to receive both and so I extended my delivery two weeks in instead of one to get both my items . The weekend before I get my things I get a call saying my items are not in the warehouse yet they need to extend me delivery , we extended it . Ever since then they kept extending my delivery because items weren’t in stock ! I called the manager and he said they don’t tell us a date for delivery they give us a time frame and I let him know that he needs to train his sales men over because I was not told that and he always says on the receipt it states delivery will be delayed if not available and that was a LIE and he also said he’s not going to help me with anything because I’ve only waited a month . He was very rude and didn’t care what so ever . Never again will I order from Ashley’s furniture , they are suppose to be a high brand furniture store with good quality service but they have horrible delivery and once they sale is over the people in the store including the manager do not care after .

Ashley’s Best furniture in Clovis and Fresno area I’m enjoying my new furniture.

We went to Ashely to look at dinning tables. We met Ally right when we walked in. She showed us what we were looking for, she was easy going, no pressure at all. Ally was very patient with us as well. We left purchasing to dinning tables. One of the tables was a floor model (table/chair for 6) dishes- cabinet piece - place mats for a great deal. The other was a table to seat 4. If you are looking for no pressure and someone to walk with you through the process ask for Ally.

Great experience buying a whole living room set the team answered all of our questions and was patient with us while we made a decision Daniel and ally and Henry helped with this purchase they were all great. Jerry has always helped us with our previous purchase and he’s just so calm with us even after our kids have been screaming and crying to go home after two hours of questions 😅

Have used them for a lot of things--office, home, multiple apartments, etc. Experience has fallen off so badly. They just LIE constantly and then look at you with smug $h!+ eating grins. Absolutely INSANE experiences lately... Most recent example: went in for bed frame and dresser. Confirmed items w/associate (who had been VERY nice through entire process). He enters info for cart etc, I confirm it is accurate, all is normal. I go to pay w/Ashely credit card + financings etc. suddenly issues come up. He confirms account is active, and full credit line is available (I had paid everything and not put anything new on it in over a year). SO why is it giving error message? He doesn't know. He runs off to manager, who takes care of everything on his computer. Comes back and says "everything's done and taken care of I just couldn't do it on my ipad we had to do it at the computer station" ok fine. WELL delivery day comes--THE WRONG ITEMS. The delivery driver had me sign before he brought it inside (I know--I should confirm items first, absolutely understand, BUT you reader know as well as I do when they shove that phone in your face for a signature you're not thinking about that...) well the dresser is the wrong one. I tell them, they basically say "too bad go check w/ store you purchased at" so I drive there and tell them i'd please like to swap it for THE ONE I CHOSE and they say "no returns". literal quote from manager "it's your property now" I said I want to exchange my property for the property I actually purchased. He ROLLED HIS EYES at me?? Are you SERIOUS?? Look, I'm not a Karen(sorry to innocent people named karen) but I could not BELIEVE how they were acting toward me. The item had a completely different name + price but they wouldn't do anything about it?? He said "if it's damaged we can exchange it for one that's not damaged" it's like he was deaf. SIR, THEY SENT ME THE WRONG FURNITURE. They don't care. They're just trying to get their sales. Go literally anywhere else... I have bought two couches, two beds, two tables, two ottomans, dressers and rugs from them as well as various home decor. I'm not going back. They used to be great, now it's just a disaster. Useless.

Beware of the fake warranty. We purchased the extended warranty on our dining table and just tried to use it. They denied fixing a heat stain due to the fact that there were other small damaged areas, such as minor scratches. I guess you have to use the warranty every single time there is something small in order to use it for bigger things. I feel very ripped off getting talked into the warranty that supposedly fixes everything. Please better educate your staff on these matters.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon and was briefly greeted but the salesman wasn’t too welcoming. I went in with my younger sister and it seemed like they didn’t bother to help me with any questions. Another downside is that I was told that orders cannot be picked up, everything has to get shipped for an additional price. Other than that, the furniture in the showroom was very beautiful.

First time shopping with Ashley Furniture and went terrific. My wife and I were greeted by Henry and he made the whole experience easy and really showed us the best the store had to offer. Would buy again just because of him and are happy with our new purchase of a great couch.

The second you walk in there are 3 salesmen waiting to jump on you and try and get any and all info out of you: I told them I was just looking and then they still continued to ask me questions, I was trying to walk away and they still kept asking "what's your name" "what are you looking for" after I made it clear I was just browsing . I came in because I saw a swivel chair online and wanted to see what the quality of their furniture was before making a purchase. The chair felt flimsy and all of the designs are extremely outdated.

They send returns to your home then they offer in house repair.so do not waste your money on used things

I bought two rugs at a clearance price of $270, assuming they were returned items. Each rug had a tag depicting its intended design. However, upon bringing them home, I discovered they were heavily used and dirty, rendering the original design unrecognizable. When I reached out to the store, they asserted that all clearance items were indeed used and suggested I should have inspected them before leaving. I attempted to explain that I relied on the picture-tag as a reference, but the person on the phone was dismissive and impolite. Their customer service left much to be desired. Furthermore, I noticed on the receipt that clearance items were labeled as non-returnable, although I wouldn't have considered returning them had they matched the advertised condition. Used Items should be labeled "As Is."

We popped in here to just browse and ended up buying a floor model dining room set. We really liked the look of the set, but LOVED the price. For $1,400, we got a 6ft table with a removable leaf, a matching buffet, 6 chairs, two dinnerware sets, two placemat sets, a candle holder set, and a designer decorative piece. The table and buffet alone were almost $1,200 on the original price. To be honest, we tried have to have them keep the candler holder and deco piece and possibly shave $100 off the price, but they wouldn't go for it. When I asked why this set was on discounted so low the sales person told me they're simply running out of room on the floor. In fact he mentioned that this set came out either this year or late last year; it's brand new. Typically when a floor piece is put on sale, It's gone that day or the next. Right as he was explaining this, a customer came up and inquired about the table. We did walk around before seeing our final purchase and the selection in-store here is just ok. You're better off finding your furniture on their website and then coming in here to order. The majority of the furniture in-house is decent quality, but feels more geared towards an older demo? We prefer modern, sleek pieces and most of the stuff here is big and chunky. My big pet peeve here is that their sales people are very, very aggressive. Every time we turned around somebody was asking... "do you have any questions? - "do you want to set up an account?" - "did you know we can put furniture on a wishlist?" ... Yikes! Beyond that, if you are looking for furniture, it's definitely worth it to stop by and see what kind of sales they're having.

This store and its employees are terrible. We bought a bed frame, and after a month of delays it arrived. Before even a night of sleep, the frame broke. No refund. No apologies. No solution. Just told to file a claim. If you want reliable furniture, go somewhere else.

I really loved these grey top of the line couches! We had went to 5 different furniture stores but I had my heart set on these. TOU was the salesman who helped me out. He was able to explain how they worked and all the features on my new couches. He was also detailed on the breakdown on what I had paid for! Thank you so much !

Make sure you ask questions and read the fine print because they're all smiles and giggles when they want to sell you thousands of dollars worth of furniture, but disgustingly rude and unprofessional when you go to them after you've signed. BE VERY CAREFUL SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION. If you expect to be treated like a respectable customer here, this is NOT the place for you. The general store manager, TUNG ZO, is not helpful whatsoever and will leave you feeling angry, humiliated, and disappointed. I've read so many negative reviews about this guy, I don't understand how he's still the general manager there. Clearly, Ashley does not care about its customers since it hasn't put a stop to this man's poor treatment of its customers. Take your hard-earned dollars elsewhere. Do not shop at this store!

Just received delivery and was told an item was on back order. Did not receive a text call or email indicating back order. Called the store spoke to Jess. Her explanation of the back order process was unclear and frustrating. Asked to speak to a supervisor and got Tung on the phone. He said do you want the item or not. You go into stores these days to receive good customer service. I should have ordered something online. I expect more from a store Manager!!! You set the tone for communication with your team. Giving 1 star for Angie our sales agent she was great and went above and beyond on her day off!!!! She should be the store manager.

Customer services really need to be 0 stars the day before my delivery on a 7 piece dining set to be delivered cancel due to a mistake I made in address I spoke with CSR previously an asked if I need to cancel my order an was told no that it will be corrected by agent Veronica Green. I understand it was my mistake but I shouldn't be told it was going to be cancel the day before delivery when I asked if I need to cancel it four days prior I'll take my business elsewhere. Customer services is everything for all CSR involved in that call. You guys had the nerve to cancel my back order from Nov 26 2023 and still send a delivery guy to my place. An didn't notify them of the cancelation thank you for letting me know doing business with your company was huge mistake devils is what you are

This store is fraudulent and lies to sell what they can. We purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress from them and were told that you have 90 days to exchange if we do not like it and that it is through the manufacturer. Just beware the manufacturer does not recognize Ashley as a third-party seller and does not honor that exchange. When contacting the store, they told us to contact Tempur-pedic which we did and again they said they do not recognize Ashley HomeStore as a third-party. Ashley does not and will not honor the exchange so we are stuck with the mattress. If I could give them less than one star, I would, and I am trying to let everybody know do not shop there. The sales rep, Hamzeh, and Mgr Tung Blatantly lied to us when we called and offered no assistance.

We ordered a sofa on Black Friday weekend that we were assured was in stock and available for delivery 12/09/2023. The delivery has since been rescheduled twice and now is scheduled for 01/17/2024. I'd rather that they had been upfront about it being on back order instead of lying about it.

I purchased a cream Lindyn sofa and loveseat from the Fresno Store 10/16/23. My sales person was phenomenal. She offered delivery the next week but I wasn't ready. We negotiated a date and I left happy. Unfortunately that is where the praise ends. I scheduled delivery 11/29, as I had renovations in process. On 11/28, I called to reschedule to 12/2. On 12/1, I received a call from Ashley advising they did not have all pieces and needed to reschedule. They offered 12/8, but I was not available. The next date was 12/13. I reluctantly accepted. I called the store to ask if they could help with a date prior to the 8th. I spoke with a male there and he assured me that he could have my delivery date to 12/6. He also said he could ensure the price was adjusted to the current price. 12/6/23 came and went - no contact was made (email/text/automated calls) and no furniture. But no biggie. I was definitely scheduled 12/13/23. In the meantime I had seen the price of the furniture drop and had called on 11/25 and 12/1 to ensure my price would be adjusted to the lower rate. Stay tuned.I called the store 12/13 to ensure the price had been adjusted. I spoke with "Peter". Peter did not let me explain the reason for my call, rather, after using my tel, he gave my delivery info. He summarized by stating "It's coming later today--why are you calling?" I was a bit shocked at his tone but tried to explain my purpose. Peter talked over me repeatedly. Finally I stated in frustration "Do I need to get in my car and come down? Peter said, "Congratulations-You have a car". About 15 mins later, I stood in the showroom and asked customer service to call "Peter". A man came after their call and gave me a business card (attached). When asked was he Peter he said no. The customer service ladies confirmed he was Peter so he lied. When asked if I would receive the price adjustment, he said no. I asked if that was his final answer after explaining there were notes to support prior approval. He said no. Unfortunately, the store manager is on extended leave. I was forced to call Ashley corporate customer service. I also decided to CANCEL the delivery. I'd rather sit on the floor at Xmas than buy from rude and inconsiderate people /establishments. I will NEVER buy from the Fresno Store as long as the have "Peter" on payroll. He is rude and condescending and has zero decorum. There was another customer standing next to me, and she was equally annoyed. They"ve clearly got some work to do.

Had a terrific experience with Henry and Daniel with a recent purchase. Daniel helped us initially and was very friendly and informative. Henry assisted the second time we were at the store because Daniel was not in the store. Henry stayed late to process our order and made sure we were taken care of during a Black Friday sale. The general manager at the store was also great. We had a terrific experience and will be back again.

Consumer service was great until they asked me to take a picture of my military ID to get a discount, which is illegal by the way. No blame on them for doing their jobs but something needs to change!

I saw a picture of a sofa online with just the brands name and design name, so I took a chance and called Ashley Furniture since it was manufactured by Ashley. I was connected with Beverly and she was most helpful. She looked the sofa up and gave me all the info I needed, then she said they had it on the floor for me to see. I went in today to see the sofa and asked for Beverly. Very busy because of Black Friday, but she took her time, pointed out some features I hadn't thought about, and explained their extended warranty program. Beverly was professional, yet friendly, knowledgeable about the product and a good sales person, because she sold me the extended warranty (which I NEVER buy)! In store was a really good experience. Hopefully the delivery people are the same next weem.

This review is not for the furniture. It's for the warranty that they push so hard. Our dog rolled in the dirt and walked along the side of the couch. No problem because the sales person at Ashley had told me things like that are covered. I explained the issue and sent photos and the cleaning was approved. They sent someone out to clean it and he said his equipment only does small spots. They would need someone to come out who does larger spots. A week later I get a call saying they are now denying the claim because the warranty doesn't cover larger spots. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Your sales people said pet stains are covered. They didn't say it needs to be smaller than the palm of your hand. I looked online and there are hundreds of other Ashley customers also saying they weasel out of claims that the sales people say are covered. Don't let them squeeze that couple hundred out of you for the warranty. ITS A SCAM

When you go into Ashley I highly recommend Nancy she is amazing. Beyond great customer service!!! Listened to my ideas and showed me one of her favorites. It is so beautiful and cozy. Can’t wait for it to arrive!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never order from Ashley furniture again! I had the worst experience ever. I purchased the bolanburg set (cal king bed, matching dresser, mirror, tall chest of drawers, and nightstand) and paid extra for set up and delivery. I was super excited for my brand new beautiful furniture after 7 weeks and I happened to be out of town when said delivery occurred. They set up the wrong bed!! So then I am told I have to wait another 7 weeks while they order the correct set. I was at work when this was delivered, but my boyfriend was home. When I got home I noticed a large crack running down the side frame and called to complain as I had just spent over $7,000 on new furniture and did not pay for something broken. I was told they were busy and would receive a call later but never heard back.Fast forward to a year and a half later, aka present day, and I am moving. When I took my bed apart I discovered that the guys who set it up put the running boards on the wrong side!! The right was on the left, and the left was on the right and that's what caused the crack!!! Are you fucking kidding me? They're labeled for God's sake!! Not only that, but one of the feet was also stripped and off center. There is no way to repair this.I have called and received the same message, "we will get back to you" but have heard nothing. Now I am outside my warranty and cannot get a refund or replacement. I spent over $7,000 for a broken bed. I will NEVER buy anything from this company ever again! ‍

I would like to start off by saying Henry was very helpful, knowledgeable, kind and patient. He was not trying to sell us like a cars sell men. He was caring about our comfort and listened to us in regards of our back pains from our bed that we previously purchased from their company. Henry, enlighten my wife and I on all of the different types of mattresses because we stressed the importance of having a great mattress. Wanted to keep my options open look at other places, when I found another location went to use my Synchrony card and was declined because it's only meant for Ashley. Looked like an idiot, and when I went back to the store to explain this to the store manager, he had the nerve to say it was my fault because I allowed to have my credit ran. Wouldn't give me his boss info, but of course corporate number where you speak to someone outside of the US and they are bigger idiots then Ashley employees. They trapped me and writing this so they won't trap you.

They were so eager for me to apply with synchrony bank for financing only to find out today that I can only use it at Ashley furniture on Blackstone in Fresno. Never mentioned that. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. My husband and I went to the Fresno California location and the sales person informed us we can pre qualify for a synchrony credit card. The most upsetting part is NOT ONCE DID HE SAY ITS A ASHLEY HOME CREDIT CARD. Now our credit is ran and we only can purchase from Ashley furniture. When I tried to speak to the store manager all I got from him was no one forced you and you should have read the print. I have to video recorded of what he said and when I asked for his district manager to contact me or regional he said he doesn’t have that and directed me to customer support and when I called they transfer me back to the store. I work as an operations manager in retail and I know this is not how you treat customers and complaints. Not acceptable and I need to speak to someone about this.

I bought a mattress for my 3 year old son. 7 months later the spring has made a hole in the mattress and the springs keeps poking him when he lays down. Called Ashley's to make a claim, they sent a technician and he told us the the mattress was no good and he would take care of it. I find out months later that the technician wrote something different in his report so Ashley's wouldn't cover it. He blamed my son for the incident. I told the claim department how can a 34 pound kid be to heavy for your mattress to cause the spring to come lose. All they said is sorry we don't cover that. This place sells low quality mattresses and will lie just so they don't own up to their warranties. My advice is for buyers not to buy mattresses from Ashleys furniture and to take your business somewhere else. I originally posted the above review and was contacted by Ashleys and was told to put down my information and they would look into the claim to help me. I even sent them pictures of the mattress and how it keeps getting worse. They didn't do anything but repeat what their technician wrote on his report. They won't help at all, they just stick to cheating people. They find any reason to not honor their warranties. Avoid this business at all times

First of all, I've been a longtime customer with Ashley’s furniture. My complete apartment is furnished with Ashley’s furniture. With that being said, my experience with Fresno, Ashley furniture was horrible. I walked into the store and waited for about an hour and no one bothered to assist me with my guest room purchase. I had to look for someone to help me, so I asked Tou the salesperson who wasn’t helping anyone at the time. Tou recommended the bed with drawers and reassured me over and over that I did not need a boxspring. When the bed was delivered, the delivery person said it needed a boxspring before I put the mattress on. When I called the store, they refused my call and told a middle person to relay the message to me that it did not need a boxspring. Someone else called me from the delivery team and I explained how I was not satisfied with my purchase. Tou called me and told me that it was his mistake and that I would have to pay for the boxspring plus delivery. At this point I was not happy at all and asked to speak with his manager. He then told me that they would waive the delivery fee but I would still have to pay $100. I will no longer be doing business with Fresno Ashley’s furniture due to the fact that I purchased a bed that has drawers thinking all I would have to do is buy a mattress based on what Tuo told me. I have yet to receive a return phone call from the manager. Fresno, Ashley’s furniture please do better. Completely unsatisfied customer Mary.

I had attempted to purchase an online dining set regularly priced for $850 but on clearance for just $210. Since I was unsuccessful at purchasing the item online, I called customer service who informed me I would have to make this purchase in-store. I showed Henry proof of the online price, as it was a different sale price in-store. Without hesitation Henry presented my information to his manager, who in-turn without hesitation honored the online price. Henry also thoroughly explained their delivery process and fees and furniture protection plan; what it covers, what it doesn't cover, and frequent scenarios that come up. I appreciated Henry's time and attention to detail walking me through their process and answering my questions. I had a very pleasant experience. The entire transaction was under 30 minutes, this includes from the time I walked thru the door. I've been a faithful customer of Ashley's Furniture for several years. I appreciate their high quality and attention to detail. If you are in the market for high quality furniture at a good price Ashley's Furniture should definitely be on your list. Came in looking to purchase sofas today and was greeted by Henry at the front entrance. As me and my wife were checking out furnitures. He came over to check up on us and asked if we had any questions from time to time. He also offered a great discount to us for the Labor Day special and went further and beyond as a sales rep to give us even more of a discount. Great sales rep!

Worst mistake by going to them for my two purchases that I paid cash and got promised twice for delivery dates that still to this day haven’t got my furniture I will NOT recommend this furniture store to anyone especially the delivery they keep pushing back twice on my delivery date and I am highly disappointed especially when I went a month without getting my furniture I will not recommend once again worst purchase I have done I paid a high amount in cash especially got promises and managers involve with my disappointment of delay on delivery and they just don’t care once again DO NOT purchase from here go somewhere else

Went in today to purchase a dresser and was helped by ernie. He was very helpful and made sure we were happy with our purchase. He even gave us an extra discount which was extremely helpful and appreciated. The purchasing process was super easy and fast and got us approved quickly. I wish I could leave NO STARS - I will NEVER purchase from Ashley Furniture again! Last year, I had been thinking of buying a matching nightstand, and had been watching the price for a sale. I was excited when Ashley Furniture advertised 50% off. Went to the store only to find they darn near doubled the tag price so after the discount, it netted to what the original price had been for the several months I'd been watching it. When I asked the associate about the discrepancy, she not only didn't deny it, but then offered to sell me a mattress and throw in the frame for free to compensate for my displeasure. How does that make sense! I swore then that I would never shop here again, but fast forward to this month and a move into a new home - I decided I really did want the nightstand that matched my bedroom set and went into the store, paid cash, and set a delivery date. It was just delivered, and is damaged. The top is blatantly scratched and painted over. Did they really try to pawn off a damaged item?! I called the "local" number, which surprise! is outsourced and the local store refuses to assist in replacing the item. I have now been on hold with the outsourced customer service for over 2 hours, with no resolve other than they will get back to me within 72 hours! Normally I would be willing to wait, however this was ordered to be delivered today for a specific reason. UGG I TRULY WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Sold us a couch with defects lied to us about protection plan we bought won't help fix just tel me there is nothing they can do I would never ship here again the furniture is so cheap and terrible the sales people are liars they will say anything to get you to buy their crappy furniture
