I just want to share my experience at Ashley furniture yesterday. I came in looking to purchase a new recliner chair. I was greeted right as I walked in. Asked if I was looking for anything specific and directed to the area of the store I could find them. Everything was smooth and as I expected coming in. I hadn’t even sat in a chair yet before the sales lady came back asking if I had any questions. I kindly told her no and told her I would be looking around. She walked away. Long story short, she continued to hound me with the same question every minute I was there. It made me feel like I wanted to hide. I loathe this type of sales tactic. IF I needed help, I would find the help or look around helpless. After about 30 minutes there, I genuinely found a chair I liked and could see myself purchasing. At that time I asked her for her help. She offered to see what kind of discount she could get me since they were having an “up to 25%” off sale. She then preceded to ask me for my name, phone number, email address, and then once she asked for my mailing address I stopped her right there. I wasn’t looking to give her my info freely so the company could hound me with calls, mailers and junk e-mail, I just wanted a price. My patience was wearing thin. Finally she accepted my zip code only and provided me with the price. I asked for the sale price however instead of providing that, she gave me the price it would be with their warranty, delivery and tax. NOT what I asked for. Price was around $1400. I asked hehe to see the breakdown. They gave me 15% off which ended up covering the delivery fee. I had them remove the warranty and the price came down to $1201. I asked for some time to discuss it with the people I brought with me so she walked away. After 1 minute she came back saying she talked to her manager and was able to add the warranty back on and give me a bigger discount. Ultimately making the chair price now $1194. Is this a joke? At that time she was making the whole experience bad. I truly felt like I was buying a car on a car lot. My household has bought our last 4 furniture pieces for Ashley furniture but this was horrible. We had gone to Living Spaces before coming here. I wanted to see what options I had. After being greeted when entering and asked if we had been there before, they let us know that none of the employees work off commission and would not be pushing anything on us. I couldn’t believe the comfort I had in my shopping experience there. They had plenty of people around and a few checked in with us through out the time there. But I never once felt pressured to buy anything or haggle on anything. And though I ultimately didn’t buy a chair there, it was because I didn’t find the right chair. Though I really did want to buy one there. We ended up leaving Ashley and going to Mor. I found a chair I liked there too and it was more affordable and the warranty and delivery were cheaper. We had a sales person greet us and check in with us every 10 minutes or so. But they gave us space and freedom. Overall, Ashley furniture, you need to calm down on your sales agents (sharks). They stand around looking for chum in the water. I also didn’t like seeing 3 of them stand around and talk about how one of them just lost the sale because their buyers left and they didn’t know why. How they spent so much time on them and thought they had it. Save that talk for the break room. Your customers are people, not $$$. Do better or I won’t be surprised when you’re out of business.

We went into the Fresno Ashley Store because we had several great experiences in the Orem/Provo UT store. As we walked around looking at some of the very nice pieces, we were helped by Tou. He listened to what we were looking for: An identical leather corner sectional as the one we purchased in UT. He was able to match our old price, which was excellent. The price was so good, we bought a second corner sectional. He got us a great deal on that as well. Our conversations with him were very relaxed. He did an excellent job assisting us. As for him when you go there.

⭐ 1 Star — Absolutely Unacceptable I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a couch from Ashley Furniture, paid in full, and somehow still don’t know where my couch is. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday 9/12. The delivery team showed up around 2:45 PM, called to say they were outside, and when I explained I was at work and needed 30 minutes to get home, they left in under five minutes. This is not an exaggeration — it’s literally on my Ring camera. What makes this worse? After they left, I called customer service and was explicitly told the delivery team would return after 4:00 PM. I rearranged my entire day and waited. No one came back. No call. No text. No explanation. Since then, I’ve emailed, called, and texted multiple times with zero meaningful response. No confirmed delivery date. No update. No idea where my couch even is — just a charge on my credit card for furniture I don’t have. Being charged for an item that was never delivered, combined with broken promises and total silence, is beyond frustrating. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced from a major furniture company. At this point, Ashley Furniture either needs to: Tell me where my couch is Give me a guaranteed delivery date Refund my money Or compensate me for this mess If you value your time, money, or sanity, I’d think twice before ordering from here. One missed delivery is annoying. Being ignored afterward is unacceptable.

Do not recommend!!! My parents ordered couches & salesman sent the WRONG couches upon delivery. Called to complain they were wrong & he said he'd take care of it. Called the corporate number cuz the same salesman NEVER put in a claim when we called to complain they were the wrong couches. Had we waited 2 more days we wouldn't have been able to file a claim and would be stuck with awful couches! Found out that the delivered couches were $1,200 more than what we signed up for. That same salesman texted the following week saying "thanks guys". Cuz he lost his commission. Who does that?!?! That's harassment and fraud against the elderly!Awful experience would never go back!!!!

First things first, the sales staff are great at what they do when dealing with purchases, but that's pretty much where the good ends. TLDR; The physical store location and their off-site organizations (warranty, finance, customer care, etc.) are completely disconnected from the team members at the store. The store has beautiful products, quality is okay, and salesmanship is good. However, don't bother getting a protection plan unless you want to deal with the nightmare of inconsistent processes/operations of Ashley's teams. You won't be able to get everything done in one place or in-person and you will get the runaround until somebody has the competence and tolerance to deal with your inquiries. Keep track of your warranty paperwork if you decide to purchase furniture here. We dealt with a warranty claim and were awarded in-store credits. We were informed by the warranty team that our credits were set to expire on a date that was more than a month out so we thought we had some time to pick things out online, then make the purchase in-store - that is not the case. I was informed by the worker at the front desk that the store has a different policy when dealing with in-store credit purchases; once the warranty team has awarded the customer credits, the in-store policy is that the credits are only good for 2 weeks (14 days exactly) from the customer's reception/award date. You would then have to reach back out to the warranty team to get those credits reinstated if the 14 days have passed - this is one of the disconnects from how the physical store operates vs the off-site organization. While I was on the phone with the off-site representative, they had asked me to clarify the in-store policy to them to which I asked the in-store front desk worker if they she could speak to the person on the phone and she stated that they couldn't talk to the warranty claims team - another disconnect. Anyways, this got resolved within the next 2 days and we were able to utilize the in-store credits again. After making a purchase using the credits, we were delivered a portion of our order while the remaining item was set to be delivered at a different date because it was not available at the time. Come late December, I received notice via email and text that the remaining item was scheduled to be delivered in January 2026 - cool so I confirmed the scheduled delivery date and delivery time window. The delivery date comes and I don't receive any further notifications (you would usually receive a tracking link of where the delivery truck is at in their route). After the delivery time window had passed nothing had been delivered and received so I call the store to which they inform me that they item is discontinued and I would have to go to the store in person to get this resolved or re-select; oh and there's also a ridiculous amount of the balance under my name that I knew had no business being there. I proceed to meet with the representatives in-store. After meeting with the regional manager in store, he informed me that I needed to reach out to customer care via phone call to get the transaction resolved - again, another disconnect from how the store operates vs. how the off-site teams operate. What a waste of time and gas driving to the store just to be told that I needed to get with customer care through a phone call. I also inquired about why I had a ridiculous amount balance under my name (thousands of dollars) - according to what the regional manager and customer care team have confirmed, it's part of Ashley's system to flag to the representative working the transaction that there is an issue with the order (in my case - item is discontinued, reselection is required) and it'll eventually get cleared once customer care and the finance team get involved. Try going to sleep with that in the back of your mind hoping that the business will get that cleared based off what you've already been dealing with.

Ashley’s furniture store has been a great experience for me. I have been in a a few times and made two purchases in a month and a half

I went to the Fresno store on Sun, 11/30, & purchased 2 end tables for the living room. I was interested in a modular sofa w/chaise & was quoted a price. I told the sales rep I will let him know on Mon. I wanted to check my budget. He said ok. Well, I went to the store again on Mon, spoke to the same agent, Elmer,. I was told the price could not be as he had given the day before. I asked why not, + it was within the Black Fri time frame. He replied he wasn't allowed. So what changed in 24 hours? N/a. I asked to speak w/a manager since this didn't seem fair. I was told she was busy w/other customers. I was very disappointed at the sales rep & Ashley store. The price given should have been honored. I'm still interested in the sofa.

Our salesman, Sing, was both personable and professional. We could have bought the same mattress anywhere, but we came back to Ashley because of him.

Walked in asked to see table and chairs i had seen online, salesman Nick took me right to it, online pics and description didn't do it justice, Nick handled the sale , no fuss, no problems, he was great, informative, I am now looking forward to delivery

Moving across the country is no fun, but Elmer truly made furnishing our new home a pleasant experience. We had visited several places before and were frustrated with people trying to sell to us instead of listening. Elmer was the complete opposite patient, thoughtful, and never pushy. He took the time to understand what we needed, and because of that, we’ve already made several purchases and plan to return to Ashley’s to finish furnishing our home in the Central Valley. Thank you, Elmer!

The furniture was delivered the delivery people were very friendly and nice. They set up the bed and left. When I got home since my daughter was the one waiting for the furniture, I noticed something the drawers at the foot of the bed the one on the right would not open the Rails on the side were either put on wrong or something. I immediately called the store. Explain to the girl that I was gonna have company and that my former bed was sitting in the living room. She said she apologize, but that no one could come out until Tuesday. I said I'm having family over for Thanksgiving and she said well I'm sorry that's the best I can do so I'm very very very unsatisfied with Ashley. I don't think that I'll buy there again.

My Husband and I ordered a mattress from here and it included a FREE foundation etc. We ha6 to reschedule multiple times and upon delivery day the foundation still wasn't delivered with the mattress, even though I talked with customer service the day before and they said it was (they lied).The customer service at the store and delivery personnel were great, but everything else was trash if I'm being honest. My Husband and I personally don't see ourselves coming back if I'm being honest. We no longer wanted the foundation, it was too much of a headache to deal with. If you're shopping here make sure everything is in their inventory if you can. Good luck.

The salesman Tu (not sure if I spelled his name correctly) he was very knowledgeable very helpful and pleasant. First time in the store and I will certainly come back for Black Friday and future purchases

Be 1000% sure you want what you buy. No returns unless wrapped up. Its unwrapped when delivered and they don't take returns.

The only way to get hold of a manager at the store is if you go in, and when my purchase was delivered party of the agreement wasn't honored. I've purchased from Ashley before but this time around staff and processes are lacking. Seriously doub I will be a returning customer again.

I ordered from ashley before and remember it taking longer then expected but this Exeriance took the cake. I ordered my items (tv stand 2 side tables and buffet) on Memorial Day weekend (approx June 1) when I heard nothing by beginning of August I called and talked to Tou. He said when I ordered it there was no supply Chain problems; in August he said (2 months later) that it would probably be 2-4 more weeks. I hear nothing again and finally call the store after Labor Day and was told it’s a hefted for delivery on September 17. I get an email to confirm my delivery. After I confirm my delivery, I get a call 2 days later that they only have the buffer and it would be end of October for the rest! This Is complete crap I cancelled my order and will no longer give ashley my business. The product was in stock online the whole time. If I could give a 0/19 I would. Don’t waste your time with ashley

Tim was great with me and my husband and was able to help us with what we were looking for. We had to leave after we purchased one item and saw another on the way out that we liked, we couldn’t stay because my husband had to work and he was able to help us check the price on it through text message and I went back down later to purchase it. Really appreciated his time and effort.

In store experience was great! But I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent delivery experience from Ashley Furniture. The delivery team was careless and unprofessional from the moment they arrived. They left trash and packaging materials inside and outside my home—including plastic wrap, foam, and sharp objects like nails. My rugs were left dirty, and several of my new couches were stained and arrived with visible damage. To make matters worse: • Furniture parts were missing, which means I now have to take another day off work to wait for a follow-up delivery and installation—completely unacceptable. • They damaged my door frame while bringing the furniture in. • Items were improperly leaned against my wall, leaving visible scuff marks and dents. • Loose hardware and protective stickers were left behind, and overall it felt like the job was rushed and done with zero attention to care. This entire experience has been a massive inconvenience and a complete letdown. I expected far better from Ashley Furniture, both in product quality and customer service. I now have to spend extra time and money fixing issues that should have never occurred in the first place. I strongly urge others to inspect every piece thoroughly, document everything, and hold Ashley accountable for delivery damage and poor handling. Ashley, you need to do better—this is not how you treat customers or their homes. Next day update. The delivery team returned and are still missing parts. Now I have to take a 3rd day off work in a row in order to accommodate them for their mistakes. Help me make it make sense, that I pay for furniture and hold up my end of the agreement and they not only once but twice now have failed to deliver the items when expected and yet I am the one losing wages and time off from work to help them hold their end of their agreement.

We searched all over Fresno for a manual recliner that my husband could easily use. We finally found just the perfect recliner for him at Ashley Store. He loves the comfort of his chair. Thank you for the polite attention paid to us while testing all of the recliners.

Worst customer service ever! I purchased a table in store in July, it was broken on delivery. I called customer service immediately and filed the report. After a couple of weeks of them not following through I called the store and was told they don't handle customer service to call the 800 number. Bottom line this is now the end of September and they still have not resolved this issue. The table arrived broken and unusable and it is still here, no refund, no credit, no pick up.

I was in the market for a full size sofa. After visiting few stores, decided to purchase the sofa from Ashley, mainly due to Tou Vue. Tou did not pressure me, took his time , offered me a good deal and even after the sale I was undecided where to deliver the sofa but Tou handled professionally, I changed the address 3 times!!

Going to buy a mattress isn't my favorite thing to do, but going to Ashley store and meeting Tu was a welcome surprise. He helped me with everything I needed and more. He had me feeling at ease and comfortable.

I would avoid purchasing furniture from Ashley at all cost due to the absolute terrible quality and run around we’ve been dealing with. The in store experience was just fine, everything after was a disappointment. We purchased a sleeper sofa for our temporary living situation (6 months) so that we could have our room be a bedroom at night and a living room during the day. We were told the sleeper sofa could only be dropped off in the box outside as we needed it in the back of the house and the delivery guys “don’t do that and will only bring it in to the front of the house where it is easily placed.” Once we got it in we started having mold issues with the mattress in less than a month. At the 3 month mark the mechanism for the sleeper part broke. I contacted Ashley and was told we had to wait 7-10 business days for a part to come to us and a technician to come out. Our technician appointment was put off indefinitely as the part was too big to be delivered to our house (which makes no sense, it can’t be bigger than the actual sofa that was delivered to us right?). I called after a couple weeks of waiting and was told that I would have to drive to the Stockton area to pick up the part from the warehouse myself. After being hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager, I finally got to someone who arranged for the part to be sent to the local store and brought to the house by the technician. It then took more cancelled appointments and another two weeks to get someone here. Mind you, we are sleeping on a broken bed this whole time. The technician got here with the part, which was quite large and awkward and he had no one to help him. I had to help him move the mattress and sofa and bring things in and out. He then told me I shouldn’t be using said sofa sleeper everyday and the bolts aren’t strong enough and will break again. I was actually told by the technician that the quality is bad. Mind you, we told the sales person our situation and intended use. Do not purchase from here, it is not worth your money or time.

Went on a busy Memorial Day Weekend and never felt pressured. Jose was great and friendly. We wanted to think about our purchase and called back couple days later. Jose was able to grandfather the special pricing. Then when we went in, he helped us with even more discounts. Needless to say, we were very pleased with our purchase and will definitely return in the future when we need furniture once again.

We originally went into Ashley Home Furniture just to browse mattresses for a future purchase—but ended up walking out with a new mattress and more thanks to Sing! He was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He gave us such a great deal that we couldn’t pass it up. If you’re planning a visit, definitely ask for Sing. You won’t regret it!

My experience with Caitlin was just absolutely delightful. She took her time showed me everything went on your guys‘s website. She was respectful, considerate and so dang sweet. I absolutely fell in love with her.🩷

José greeted us warmly and offered his assistance with just the right touch of willingness to help yet not be intrusive. When we needed help we went right to him. He helped us find the perfect lamp. He even had to look it up and search for it but he found it :)! Thanks, José :)! I would have given 5 stars, as the location was very clean and nicely maintained with lots of choices but the ordering/shopping process was annoying. We couldn’t take one home and had to have it delivered in about three weeks. We had it delivered to the store where our daughter could pick it up in 7-10 business days. If it hadn’t been the perfect lamp, we would probably not have purchased it due to that.

Sales person was horrible will not be coming back

I purchased 2 rocker/glider accent chairs on-line as they were not available in the store. One came completely damaged, customer service had a repair person come out and he said the item had been dropped so was not repairable. The other one was OK but not well made and I would not order again. Customer service has been confused and confusing, I've gotten several different emails, first saying I could reselect a different item since I wasn't happy with the chair, and others saying they would replace the chair but not give me the re-selection option because I bought it on-line. So beware, if you are buying on-line you better like it, as if it comes damaged you will get another one. They also said I have to dispose of the damaged one myself!! I have no way of getting rid of it other than having it hauled away at my expense! Customer service has been a nightmare, the quality of the product was not good, and now I'm stuck with a damaged chair and at some point another chair that I don't like! Lesson learned, I will not shop at Ashley again.

Purchasing my dresser was easy. Sing was a great salesperson and did a great job. The problem I have is that I could not reach your store by phone a few days later. I got an answering company with a person I could not understand. I knew that Sing was working in the store that day but no matter what, she was adamant I could not contact the store by phone. I needed to change the date I was picking up my dresser and she said she would put that note in my file. That is ridiculous! Simple phone call would have solved my problem. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she put me on hold for 15 minutes just waiting for me to hang up. Please be more customer friendly and available by phone.

Terrible customer service, specifically delivery. 1st furniture was delivered with a 2-week delayed from initial delivery date. 2nd furniture was delivered damaged. And they’re response if that I have to take another day off so they can come back with a replacement.

My son bought a higher end sofa from Ashley and at the same time purchased the warranty. In December, 2024 he had an issue with the sofa. In January, 2025 a service technician came out and said a part had to be ordered. Silence since that time. My son works long hours so I told him I would follow up. I called the company who came out many times but never had my call returned. I then called the warranty company who said the part is in order but they could not provide any further information because it was now a corporate issue since they have to approve the purchase of the part. Called the corporate office who said they could not help other than to say it was in order. I emailed the corporate office 4 times to try to gain further information. No reply. This company provides zero customer service. Since Fresno has many furniture stores I strongly encourage you to buy elsewhere. 04/25/2025. Not sure how to edit review but Ashley Furniture responded to my earlier review with an apology and an email address. I have sent 5 emails and still have not received any help. I provided my phone number and asked that they call to discuss but no response to that either. I almost think it is an AI responding to my emails with programmed verbiage. Not sure but still no help. Another update: today I went to the Ashley Store in Fresno to try and speak with someone. I was informed that they have no onsite manager and to call customer service. I explained all my calls and e-mails proving specific information. In short—there was not a person there that could even begin to address any type of issue at all. I am looking into other options for resolution since Ashley Furniture cannot help after a sale is made. Please save yourself this frustration and buy elsewhere. 05/28/2025 update to review. I have been trying to resolve this matter with Ashley Furniture for 6 months now. After they provided an email address as a response to my original review absolutely nothing g has happened. I have emailed Krissy at Ashley at least 12 times without gaining one bit of help or answers to my questions but they do always wish me a good day. I cannot more strongly urge you not to buy furniture from Ashley. The owners should be ashamed at how this company is staffed and run. 06/12/2025 Update: after numerous calls and emails I remain right back at square one. I have reached out to the BBB for assistance but they receive the same runaround. I will now about to file a small claims request which I have never done in my long life. This is a cautionary tale about doing business with an irresponsible vendor. So many better vendors in our area.

My wife and I visited the showroom to select a bed frame about a month ago. After looking at a few options, the salesperson guided us to the catalog since the one we liked wasn’t available on the showroom floor. We ended up selecting a bed frame from the catalog. When it was delivered, we discovered that it didn’t fit in our bedroom, leaving only a foot of space between the wall and the bed. This made it very uncomfortable for us to move around. We called the store manager, who referred us to corporate. They asked us to send photos and a report of the situation, only to tell us there was nothing they could do. The bed frame is in good condition, and we’re not asking for a refund—just an exchange for something that actually fits our living space. Ashley Furniture has not met my expectations, and I will not be purchasing furniture from there again. Certainly! Here's a positive, 5-star version of your review: 4/19/2025. After posting an initial one-star review, we received a call from a manager at the store who genuinely wanted to help us resolve our issue. Scare on what I was looking for. I wanted a lift chair. They ha poor choices.

We went to buy couches with a reassurance from the employees that if anything went wrong, or we didn’t like they would exchange for what we rather have not only did the story change they are impossible to contact directly. I got couches on Thursday night, tried to call Friday, then went in store on Saturday and no reply.They won’t even exchange the wrong items that they sent us. They sent us a small carpet instead of a large one, and I wanted to exchange the loveseat But after their promise to exchange anything for any reason now they’re saying there are no returns exchanges or any sort of help from them. I was supposed to reject the furniture delivery I was never told that??!! They sold me double warranty. The furniture came with warranty and they sold me extra warranty on top of that saying it’s better.$649 for the warranty + $5000 for the couches. Online the couches were the same price as the “discounted ” price I got in the store . I will be surprised if I get anything out of that warranty the way they’re treating me right now, they will not come back and stitch a single stitch, most likely. Horrible customer relations after you spend your money. Thank you don’t come back again is their motto. Because I’m definitely not going back to buy the most expensive couches in the store just to be dismissed not to mention competitors had the same couches at a fraction of the price.

I purchase a recliner from Ashley store 12/10/24, but when it was delivered it was not the one I choose, I called the store and reported the mishap I was told that Ashley store don’t take back furniture , I tried talking to the store manager he never came to the phone, I called my credit card company explained to them, so I am now disputing the charge, Because I will not pay for something I didn’t chose, this recliner is poorly made. My husband and I went in to check out some sectional couches since we are moving and needed an upgrade. First of all, the lady that greeted us butchered my husband’s name twice and didn’t even apologize for it, but I brushed it off and we continued to look. We looked around a bit for about 20 minutes, the selection wasn’t too impressive but I saw one that I was slightly interested but wanted it in a different color. I stopped and asked an associate for help not knowing that he was already helping a couple until he told me. He asked me if it was a quick question and I told him “no, I have several such as pricing and other things” so he was well aware I was looking for undivided assistance. He gave me a break down of the price of the sectional and told me they couldn’t custom order it in another color, which is what I wanted. I told him I was looking maybe for something blue or green, and instead of telling me “we might have something in stock but let me help these people first then I’ll come help you” or “let me find another salesperson to help you” all he told me was “okay have a good day” and scurried back to his customers. Even my husband was shocked, stating how rude it was to dismiss me like that. If that was the case, then don’t offer to help me at all. I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years and currently work in consumer relations and I KNOW I’d never give that same energy to any of my clients. At least let your customer know that you can find them assistance or give them some help once you’re free. Yikes. And his professionalism was poor tbh. I get that they make commission, but shoot even a car salesman has more professionalism than that. We ended up purchasing our sectional from Bob’s across the way. Pricing and experience was -10/10.

They are the worst to call and the customer service can’t help you because you have to talk to someone in that store but they never pick up the phone so it sends you to there 1800 customer service and they tell you to call the store so they can help you it’s been three months and I’m still waiting on my end table Go anywhere but here

Jose was an excellent sales advisor. He greeted us as we came into the store and asked us how our day was going. He then asked what we were looking for. When we explained that he showed us a few options and told us where else in the store to look. He gave us plenty of space and time to browse. I think he checked on us an appropriate number of times and timed everything perfectly. Can’t wait for our new furniture to arrive next week.

The Ashley home store in Fresno has terrible customer service. My husband and I purchased a new mattress and was told if we didn't like it we could return it. Every day I wake up with a sore back! I spoke to the manager and he pretty much said I was lying when I expressed what I was told. My husband will no longer deal with them and now I wake up with a sore back every day! Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else!

Experience at the store shopping was good. Nice people but took a long time to deliver the product almost 5 weeks. Delivery went well, but you do have to set up all your furniture.

I order furniture in August and till this day I am still waiting for my kitchen stools and bed frame. I specifically went with Ashley Furniture since they promised to expedite my furniture. 3 months wait is ridiculous

PLEASE BE VERY WARY WHILE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION!! Did not receive no clarification from Jerry Lowe (the sales rep who helped us) about the color of the couch he had ordered for us. It then arrived in the wrong color we picked. And since then, Ashley’s customer service has been refiling claims, and asking us to wait 48-72 hours for a reply. It’s been over a week now and still no response. And They refuse to connect me with a supervisor when asked. Then I was told to wait another 24-48 hours for Ashely’s Homestore to speak with Jerry Lowe to confirm his side of the story. This was Monday. I had told customer service that this can’t be true because Jerry Lowe works Thursday-Monday? As shown on his Ashely’s Homestore business card given to us. So I asked why would that be the reason I wait for a response if those are his days off? Because the store management had lied about this, I then asked customer service to contact me to the store before I had to drive in. But the store refused to answer the four calls from customer service about my problem. We then drove to the store at 7502 N. Blackstone Ave, 93720 to talk with Steven ( The manager) who claimed he was not aware of our situation at all… but then later on before we left the store, he mentioned how he knew about our situation all along??? and that’s why they had our papers aside ready for us so when we had walked in, they can refuse us a refund our exchange… We were then told to contact customer service who then told us to wait another 48-72 hours and still refuse to connect me to a supervisor. In all from the staff to the management and customer service have all been very unprofessional. For a manager to claim to not know about the situation, but then put papers in our face and explain that he had them ready for us to disregard our situation and why they can’t help us. And too, the customer service who asked us to keep waiting 48-72 hours while getting no response, time and time again, and not allowing us to speak to someone higher in management about the way we’ve been being treated. Is very unfair and unprofessional… I plan to leave an update response once this situation is settled.

Furniture was delivered 2 months after the original estimated delivery date, which would be fine, except you have to spend ages on hold to get a real person to give you information. Once delivered, part of my furniture was damaged (unnoticed at first). Now spending more time on an endless hold. The sales people and store itself were fine, however I will never order from Ashley again!

I purchased a bed and kitchen table on 07-13-2024. The delivery date was 07-19-2024, however, my kitchen table arrived damaged. I was asked if I was willing to keep the table which I obviously declined as I paid full price. The delivery men left the bench and chairs and stated they would reach out that same day to reschedule a new appointment day to drop off a new table. It is now 07-23-2024 and have not heard back from Ashley furniture. Upon calling the store I was put on hold for an overwhelming amount of time without a response. At this point, I am furious as I paid 3,000 and still no kitchen table. Not only did I take a day off work for the delivery that was unsuccessful but now I am having to chase down a store without a response. Horrible customer service. Please come pick up what was left and return my money ! Horrible service! Stay away!!!

We came in to purchase a bed and kitchen table. Upon arrival, the associate Nancy was very diligent to ensure she was listening to our needs. She was patient and took her time despite our indecisiveness. Nancy did not make us feel uncomfortable or pressured and teamed with her manager Tony to accommodate my family’s needs. HOWEVER, when closing the deal, the Sales Manager Tung stepped in. To be quite frank, he was abrasive and demeaning to Nancy questioning her. As a customer, it was offensive and unprofessional. UPDATE : stay away read all these negative reviews experience. The brand use to mean a Quality … not anymore the customer service is horrendous…. Despite Nancy being a good sales rep. That’s was the positive experience. A table was delivered on two separate occasions damaged missing work on each occasion(2 times)! Now this rude (aka manager Daniel) has the nerve to tell my wife they will repair it seamless. NO WE DID NOT pay for a repair we paid for a BRAND NEW product !!! THEN he insults my wife by telling her that she was lucky to be receiving $100 dollars and some change back for the inconvenience of missing work after she lifted it to corporate attention and was told this by another representative. Steer clear away as possible as they are only in it to take your money a leave ( literally). I regret buying here and wish that I could have taken my business elsewhere. Corporate doesn’t do much and neither do the store manager other than say I am sorry. It is such a disappointment and will now me contacting the Better Business Bureau I’m tired of my wife having to deal with people trying to manipulate, lacking integrity, and being a person of their word. Give us what we paid for or our money back. ASHLEYS FURNITURE ARE scammers and thieves !!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently moved to Fresno and decided to go Ashley store. It was issues since day 1. I am not happy with the experience from the store or customer service. I bought a dining table and now I cannot return it and no one has been able to help me, I was never told about any cancellation or refund policy. First it was delivered on the wrong date and time it took two weeks to get it delivered from the promised date. When it finally arrived the table was damaged. I called customer care was told all sales are final and there is no policy that say I can return the table. I called the store to speak to the manager after many attempts talking with customer service to fix the issue I’m told that he or she is on a conference call and he will tell me the same thing customer care is telling me. I feel I’m being bullied to keep something that is damaged and I no longer want due to horrible experience and stress they are put me through. UPDATE: The store has not addressed any of my concerns like it was posted on the review response. I just keep getting the run around. I have emailed and still nothing. This is a nightmare

Purchased a sofa and love seat about a week ago. Josh was a pleasure to deal with. He was available to answer questions and made us feel comfortable. At no point did we feel pressured or forced. The manager also checked in with us to make sure we were taken care of.

Nancy was the best! She literally walked around the store with us for like 3 hrs until we decided on what items we wanted and she made the purchasing process fast and super easy. I have been to this location 2 times in the past year and have left disappointed both times. The sales people we have gotten both seemed not to know all the details about the products and did not seem excited to sell something on the day we visited. We were looking for something specific ànd there were very few options available.

Went to the Ashley Furniture store and was greeted by the sales lady AJ. She was very polite and very professional. I would highly recommend going to her anytime. She is also very honest and friendly. Great service!

Genuinely disappointed in the service from Ashley in Riverpark, Fresno. I read the reviews online about the service there so tried going online instead. My wife and I placed an order together on my iPhone one afternoon. We both confirm seeing the message our order had gone thru. Even gave us a delivery date then of May 3rd which worked great since my wife was scheduled to be off work. The next day realized I hadn’t received a confirmation email so reached out to customer service and was informed that my order had actually not gone thru. The agent asked me if I had used an iPhone to place my order which I said yes. (It would not be a stretch to say at this day and age that Apple iPhones are the most commonly used mobile devices. Right?) To my surprise the agent explained that I needed to place the order again but this time not from an Apple device (iPhone or MacBook) because their system has an issue with processing orders placed from Apple devices. I don’t own a PC so I ended up having to go in to the Riverpark Ashley Store on my lunch break on May 11, 2024. Walked in and was assisted by Jose Flores who overall was great. He allowed me to vent about my online experience and after explaining to him I only had a 1hour lunch break he got me checked out as fast as he could. Very nice of him. Unfortunately he took the wrong serial numbers off their display and I had no way of being able to notice since Ashley itemizes their store receipts with only a serial number or sku. There is no mention of a style name or color being purchased. Unless a customer can translate or memorize the sku/serial number it makes it very difficult to catch an error or miscommunication. I trusted Jose had gotten the information he needed to place the correct order. It took a week for the King Bed to deliver so it delivered today May 11. As the delivery team, lead by the driver Molina, was bringing the items in I stepped away to allow them to put the king panel bed with storage footboard together. After a bit I went back in to check their progress and found out the color was grey and not white like I had asked Jose to order the day I visited the store. I stopped Molina and he assured me that everything was fine. I was ok to use the bed since a mistake was made on the order and that Ashley customer service would take care of the exchange. We took him at his word and then decided we’d head to the store right away to talk to customer service and make the correction. On our arrival the rep at the door directed us to speak to one of the cashiers who initially indicated yes there does appear to be an error in what was placed compared to what was pulled and delivered. We walked over to where the item was displayed in the store and explained to her how great my interaction with Jose went on the day of the order. The cashier walked over to confirm the color of the order that was placed by mistake and the color or the Robbinsdale bed that we asked for. We waited about 10 minutes for her to speak to the store manager and then she called us over to speak to him. I started in having to once again explain our situation to him. Noticing that while I was speaking to him he was actually distracted by his phone (An iPhone) as he fidgeted with it thru-ought our whole interaction. I was optimistic all the way up until I spoke to the manager. At that point the whole visit felt like a waste of time. Even tho the store associate ordered the wrong color bed they made it clear that they took no responsibility for his mistake. They went on for about 5 minutes telling me what I should have done. Honest criticism for the manager is that he does not belong in customer service. I smiled at him as our interaction began and he didn’t change his facial expression. The team did nothing for us even despite initially telling us that there was an error the cashier had noted in the system. The manager told me that he is not allowed to make decisions on returns and that he was tied by corporate and only they could make decisions on matters like this. I will never shop here again.

New purchase delivered on 5/4/24 I went to several local stores never shopped at Ashley, I will never come back. On delivery day the delivery guy was using a box cutter to unwrap the couch and were very sloppy they placed the couch against the wall 2 hrs later I moved the couch to plug something in and noticed he cut the couch I immediately called the store was told to call customer care which I opened a claim I guess I asked for a new couch as I haven’t even sat on them yet they advised if they couldn’t repair they would replace the couch. Today on 5/8/24 we get a call saying they can’t repair the cut they will have to order a whole new back side I keep asking why should I have to go through this trouble if I’m not the one who causes the damage I purchased something new I want a replacement they said no the tech will make it look new ( NOT THE POINT I BOUGHT SOMETHING NEW I WANT IT NEW NOT ALREADY REPAIRED FOR SOMETHING I DIDN’T DO). called local store Daniel advised same information let them try to fix it I tried to explain not fair I’m paying thousands of dollars and I have to get a repaired item already he said yes that’s how process works, I asked to take it back he said sales are final read back of contract , I said what if I don’t like how it looks he said you can’t complain because we removed staples or stitching, they won’t even take any money off I would be happy with that .This might not happen to you but what if it does , just think twice before giving this place your money they will run you in circles as to who has the final say. Take your money somewhere else save yourself the frustration if it does happen to you

Rose made shopping for new furniture a great experience. She is knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and full of great ideas. She is willing to listen, wait patiently, and answer millions of questions. It took me 4 days to make a decision and Rose was great through the entire process. She researched and had ideas ready when I came back in. She considered my question thoughtfully and always answered truthfully. I truly decided not to shop around because of her stellar service. Thanks Rose for a great shopping experience.

Bought a headboard on clearance and after we got home from picking it up, most parts were missing or broken. I didn't check for the screws or bolts because I trusted their wear house manager. Hopefully they keep their word to order and replace the parts.

He gave us a very quick introduction on the store layout and let us take our time, which we did and he was extremely patient with us. Whenever we had questions for Jerry he was always ready and answered us with a friendly smile. We were also assisted by Daniel who was equally as friendly and helpful throughout our whole visit. We ended up purchasing a 4 piece sectional and a dining set and couldn't be more happy with our purchase, but even more with our experience at Ashley's. Great customer service and we recommend them 100%. Can't wait to go back for more!

In store customer service was great, but outside of that it was terrible. They cancelled my order delivery date 4 times before actually delivering my couch. I ended up waiting an extra month and a half to get the couch. It’s a nice couch but it was a frustrating experience.
