⭐ 1 Star — Absolutely Unacceptable I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a couch from Ashley Furniture, paid in full, and somehow still don’t know where my couch is. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday 9/12. The delivery team showed up around 2:45 PM, called to say they were outside, and when I explained I was at work and needed 30 minutes to get home, they left in under five minutes. This is not an exaggeration — it’s literally on my Ring camera. What makes this worse? After they left, I called customer service and was explicitly told the delivery team would return after 4:00 PM. I rearranged my entire day and waited. No one came back. No call. No text. No explanation. Since then, I’ve emailed, called, and texted multiple times with zero meaningful response. No confirmed delivery date. No update. No idea where my couch even is — just a charge on my credit card for furniture I don’t have. Being charged for an item that was never delivered, combined with broken promises and total silence, is beyond frustrating. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced from a major furniture company. At this point, Ashley Furniture either needs to: Tell me where my couch is Give me a guaranteed delivery date Refund my money Or compensate me for this mess If you value your time, money, or sanity, I’d think twice before ordering from here. One missed delivery is annoying. Being ignored afterward is unacceptable.

Do not recommend!!! My parents ordered couches & salesman sent the WRONG couches upon delivery. Called to complain they were wrong & he said he'd take care of it. Called the corporate number cuz the same salesman NEVER put in a claim when we called to complain they were the wrong couches. Had we waited 2 more days we wouldn't have been able to file a claim and would be stuck with awful couches! Found out that the delivered couches were $1,200 more than what we signed up for. That same salesman texted the following week saying "thanks guys". Cuz he lost his commission. Who does that?!?! That's harassment and fraud against the elderly!Awful experience would never go back!!!!

First things first, the sales staff are great at what they do when dealing with purchases, but that's pretty much where the good ends. TLDR; The physical store location and their off-site organizations (warranty, finance, customer care, etc.) are completely disconnected from the team members at the store. The store has beautiful products, quality is okay, and salesmanship is good. However, don't bother getting a protection plan unless you want to deal with the nightmare of inconsistent processes/operations of Ashley's teams. You won't be able to get everything done in one place or in-person and you will get the runaround until somebody has the competence and tolerance to deal with your inquiries. Keep track of your warranty paperwork if you decide to purchase furniture here. We dealt with a warranty claim and were awarded in-store credits. We were informed by the warranty team that our credits were set to expire on a date that was more than a month out so we thought we had some time to pick things out online, then make the purchase in-store - that is not the case. I was informed by the worker at the front desk that the store has a different policy when dealing with in-store credit purchases; once the warranty team has awarded the customer credits, the in-store policy is that the credits are only good for 2 weeks (14 days exactly) from the customer's reception/award date. You would then have to reach back out to the warranty team to get those credits reinstated if the 14 days have passed - this is one of the disconnects from how the physical store operates vs the off-site organization. While I was on the phone with the off-site representative, they had asked me to clarify the in-store policy to them to which I asked the in-store front desk worker if they she could speak to the person on the phone and she stated that they couldn't talk to the warranty claims team - another disconnect. Anyways, this got resolved within the next 2 days and we were able to utilize the in-store credits again. After making a purchase using the credits, we were delivered a portion of our order while the remaining item was set to be delivered at a different date because it was not available at the time. Come late December, I received notice via email and text that the remaining item was scheduled to be delivered in January 2026 - cool so I confirmed the scheduled delivery date and delivery time window. The delivery date comes and I don't receive any further notifications (you would usually receive a tracking link of where the delivery truck is at in their route). After the delivery time window had passed nothing had been delivered and received so I call the store to which they inform me that they item is discontinued and I would have to go to the store in person to get this resolved or re-select; oh and there's also a ridiculous amount of the balance under my name that I knew had no business being there. I proceed to meet with the representatives in-store. After meeting with the regional manager in store, he informed me that I needed to reach out to customer care via phone call to get the transaction resolved - again, another disconnect from how the store operates vs. how the off-site teams operate. What a waste of time and gas driving to the store just to be told that I needed to get with customer care through a phone call. I also inquired about why I had a ridiculous amount balance under my name (thousands of dollars) - according to what the regional manager and customer care team have confirmed, it's part of Ashley's system to flag to the representative working the transaction that there is an issue with the order (in my case - item is discontinued, reselection is required) and it'll eventually get cleared once customer care and the finance team get involved. Try going to sleep with that in the back of your mind hoping that the business will get that cleared based off what you've already been dealing with.
