We had a great experience with Robert purchasing end tables and couches. He is very quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. He wasn’t overly pushy and felt like a kind people person. My husband came one day and had such a good experience he brought me back the next day. We’ll be back for further purchases!

Horrible service they said 4 to 6 weeks and took more than 2 months to receive. Then they call and tell you come pick it or will charge you $50 each day if you don't pick it up.

Closed early the day before Thanksgiving without notifying, changing hours on google, and/or posting on website. I have a couch I was going to pickup today, which took 2 weeks to get here in the first place because nearly the entire store was on back order. I was told this by a salesman at the store the day of my purchase. If I wanted to purchase the delivery option, which is $100 before tax, it wouldn't have arrived until December 2nd, about three weeks from purchase date at best. I live 2 miles from the store, but I don't have a truck. Home Depot rents out trucks cheap big enough to pick up ~8ft couches. Lady originally said I could, and I quote "Pick it up whenever". First time I get a truck, I find out Sundays and Tuesdays you can't pick up. Waste of $20. Second time, I show up on Thanksgiving because their website says they're open, and its not typical for a store to close just a couple hours early the day before Thanksgiving, but they closed at 5pm just before I got off work. Waste of $20. Waste of time. All because they don't give enough info.

I recently shopped at Ashley Home Furniture and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The store has a beautiful layout that makes it easy to visualize how everything would look in your home, and the selection is incredible! From modern to classic styles, there’s something for every taste and budget.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this Ashley store. They refused to price match their own online sale prices and would not honor the military discount that other locations do without issue. As a military family, we try to support businesses that show appreciation and fairness, but that was not the case here. I ended up taking my business elsewhere.

They lie, sell you the extended warranty tell you it covers anything when you call the warranty, its sorry but seam separation is not covered. If they are telling you its covers all issues they are lying. Look up the rating on the insurance they sell you. If they are dishonest on one thing they will be dishonest on anything.

I love their furniture, but they can be tricky and scamming on their prices. “False advertising “ sale prices. Before heading to the store we did our research to know what we wanted and if they had it available to bring it asap. When we saw the same table we had been looking on their website for gilroy location was marked on sale for $563.00 when I showed the sales man the price on my cart he said he couldn’t match the price, said It was too low and tried to scary me with high shipping cost. Like bro is the same store with!??? Shipping was free and I saved myself a little over $200 smh 🤦‍♀️ plus I had driven 45 min to the store. Never again next time everything online. Or other store. This store can do much better. One customer off their list.

i came here looking for a desk because i’m getting ready for college, and i decided to see how a couch feels and test out how it reclines and a lady confronted me and my friends saying “i can’t have you people playing with the furniture like they’re toys, you guys keep coming in here and wasting time” and i have never gone into this store, and she didn’t let us look at other mattresses and gave us no reason as to why, was extremely rude!

horrible place. Bad return policy. Bad customer service. I do not want to keep my couches they are not like the floor model. They hurt my back. To sit in, very uncomfortable. And they won’t accept a return because they were on sale. And this was not explained to me that this item was finale sale no returns and now I’m Stuck with a coach I hate and don’t sit in.

I have a lot to stay about this place. Only reason it gets 1 star is because it has to. Joe is a terrible sales man.TERRIBLE. My fiancée and I (both 25years old) went to look for a couch July 3rd during some good holiday sales. We were going to shop for a whole bunch of furniture for our new apartment. (We only and will only be getting the couch from there). We walked around the store a couple times looking at things. Joe stayed close as he could watching our every step around the store. We left and decided to go back the next day on 4th of July to buy the couch we had liked the previous day. We again walked a loop around the store to make sure that was the one we loved. Joe again stayed as close as he could watching our every move. I would have rather him come up to us and asked if we needed anything rather then just watch every step we took. He did not need to follow us silently around. We then went up to him to tell him we wanted to purchase the couch his reply was “oh you finally picked something”. When putting in the order I needed to find the new address and delivery information really fast in an email. Joe was getting annoyed that I didn’t know the information right away. Apparently I wasn’t pulling up my new address of the place I hadn’t yet moved into fast enough and he thought he wasn’t going to make a sale. He kept trying to tell me to just put my old apartment or a parent or something down for the delivery address. Joe then tells us to go up to the front for payment to which we were greeted by the front desk lady with “uh may I help you?” Then she gave me major attitude because some of the numbers on my card were rubbing off(normal for an old card and still very readable and can still be used). She seemed skeptical after that on wanting to sell to us. She then checked my Id to confirm my identity and age. She said the price and we said we wanted to finance the couch. Joe IMMEDIATELY interrupted and said they don’t do that and they could do $400 right then and then pay the rest before the couch came to be delivered. My fiancé and I had done our credit checks the day before when we were there and had MORE than enough for a couch. They didn’t even offer to check the credit or anything, just said they did not finance there. At this point I’m so flustered and annoyed, I just say okay. Pay the $400 and leave annoyed we couldn't finance a big purchase like that. The next day I tell my mom what happened and she was FLOORED. No furniture place she has ever been to has acted that way and denied financing without checking credit scores. We have never bought furniture before so I figured it was normal and they were just being difficult because we were young. My mom ended up calling to speak to manager, Frank, who told my mom that we 100% should have been offered financing and that a majority of people finance no matter what. Frank was unsure why we were told they didn’t do it. He told us we could go back in and he would fix it and allow us to finance the rest of the couch. I was to mad at the situation to do that plus I live 45 minutes from this gilroy location. So basically Joe wanted the extra good holiday sale commission off our sale so he told we couldn’t. Which was a 100% a LIE. THEN A month or so later I called to pay for the rest of my couch and I was informed that Joe scheduled our delivery for a day (Saturday august 31st) that they do not even deliver to my area on and the women on the phone didn’t understand why or how he would even schedule it for a Saturday. I asked her if we could change it to Friday (the 30th) instead and she said no because they were full for deliveries that day and we had to wait till the following Friday (September 6th). We sat on the floor for the first week of being in our new apartment. We love our couch but we will NEVER shop at this Ashley furniture again.

We needed dining room chairs. We went to the local store to buy the chairs, but they wanted to charge $150 more than buying online (as in person store would charge for delivery whereas online did not). We then decided to buy the chairs online. Unfortunately, we selected the wrong color and need to return a pair. They do not allow online returns to the local store, instead, WE need to pay for shipping to ship the chairs back to their warehouse. The pair of chairs cost us $250, and shipping the chairs back to them would cost us $180. This means best case scenario, we would only get 28% of our initial purchase price back in a refund. The store was nice looking, the chairs are nice, but the Ashley Furniture online return policy is TERRIBLE!!!

Shipped me a damaged $3,000 table tried for a year to get it replaced and they are not helping with anything after a year of trying. Insurance I bought said it was up to them and turns out no one is responsible for it. The delivery drivers laughed that there were marks on the table and showed me their “magic trick” by using a pen to cover it up. After going to them since a child I will never buy from them again.

Isabel at Ashley furniture is amazing. I was having a bad day after going to Rossos furniture and having rude service. Can in Isabel greeted us with a friendly smile. We are getting a couch, coffee table and dining set.

The salesman was super helpful and honest. I walked in just to get information and walked out having purchased a new couch and loveseat. They were the floor model and were half-price. With it being Labor Day, we didn't have to pay sales tax either. Nice!

I received the worst customer service here. So, I found a sofa I liked in store, but decided to look up reviews first and do some research online. But, I found the exact same sofa cheaper at another retailer online, so, I called the Gilroy Ashley store to inquire about the item and the salesman I spoke with refused to price match the sofa saying the price online was "too cheap". I asked him about the Ashley Price match Policy to which he doubled down saying, "yeah, I'm not gonna do that" (price). When I asked to speak to the manager, he said "she's not here now" "and she'll tell you the same thing" and ended the call. Ashley you lost a customer who was ready to buy.

Great selection of Ashly furniture. The building is large and well stocked. Most of the sales people are knowledgeable, although the day I shopped the sales person was new. They still did a great job of asking me if I was looking for anything in particular and took me to the area I had talked about. Although I didn't find what I was looking for this trip, I have purchased items from this store. Their delivery was on time and the men were careful of doors, walls. and the hardwood flooring. They were efficient and unpacked the items gave me all the paperwork and took all the packing material with them. I would certainly buy from this Ashly store again.

Amazing inventory

I have purchased multiple items from Ashely's because I trusted their quality. I understand there are protocols to exchanging and returning items; however when I purchase the "best" quality mattress and in less than 3 years it became the most uncomfortable sleep and wake up with knots in my back. I called customer service explaining the problem but because it wasn't visible there was nothing they could do. I even purchased a couch and less than a year later the cushions flattened. It's very disappointing because I trusted their quality and now I'm stuck with worn out furniture that should have lasted so much longer.

Makes choosing furniture easier because you are comfortable that the investment is low enough that even a short product life will still give a good ROI. - We had previously struggled to make a high quality (and price) leather living room purchase. Instead, at these very reasonable prices we feel confident that even if we need/want to redecorate in only a couple of years that we won't be held hostage by the feeling we can't because we have to get 20 years of use out of an expensive living room set. Meanwhile, their selection available on the floor allows us to inspect and test enough choices to find the quality surprisingly good at this price point.

This place is great. We decorated a condo 2bdrm 2.5 bath for around 7k and I couldn't be happier. The furniture looks great and the quality is good.. Great salesman.. Manny. Good eye and very helpful with selection. We always ask for him.. I was impressed with their up to date selection.

We stopped by the Ashley store in Gilroy to look at a dining room set and new livingroom set. Sales representative Gina showed us the furniture and gave us a great package deal that includes free delivery and no sales taxes for the labor day weekend.

Went to purchase a sofa for my mother. Who is very particular. Met Manny (sales associate). I can honestly say I have never had a better experience purchasing furniture. In and out in about an hour. Manny knows what he's doing. If you're in the market for any new furniture go see Manny!

I bought a couch from this Ashley's furniture location in December. I was helped by sales associate Manny and sold extra insurance for my furniture. He assured me the insurance from Guardsman would cover the fabric if my husband accidentally ripped it by sitting on it with his keys still on his belt loop (this unfortunately happened to our last couch). Well we had an accident, but at least I had my Guardsman insurance right? Wrong. This insurance company is a scam, please be careful of shady salesman who try to sell it to you. It's to late for me, but not for you.

Went to the Gilroy store and purchased two recliners. two days later i googled the recliners and found a place that was $150 cheeper. Called the store and explained, by the end of the day they issued me a credit of $150 for each recliner !!! great customer service !

The worst customer service I have ever had. Bought furniture and one of the chairs started leaning so we contacted them, they ordered the parts it took 3 months for the parts to arrive, they said a repair man would be out to fix it so today Ashley sent guys to pick up the chair with no idea when they will bring it back , if I didn't let them take it they said they could fluff it . Then you call corp. office I have been waiting for 30 min. for them to talk to me. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!!

Everything is to price! I went to Ashelys to see the bedroomsets. $1,300 and up on just the bed frame. Went to a different furniture and the whole set ( bed frame, drawer with mirror, nightstand) for just $1,600! And I honestly think the quality is super awesome. Not to thin . It's just perfect

My husband and I have been looking for a new set for our family room the set we have now is an Ashley set we have had it for years and love it but it resently gave out and so we are really wanting to get another Ashley set , so we have been looking at one from the Gilroy store and there have been people that have come up to us and asked if they could help us but on Tuesday 4/10 we went into the Gilroy store again and Joe Rondez came up to us and asked to help us well he truly did take time to help us I have been struggling not knowing if the piece I want will fit properly in my room and Joe told us just what to do to figure that out so we went home and did just that and now I know just what I want and will be going back to purchase it from Joe and thank him for all his time and commitment to excellent customer service! My girlfriend and i were looking for furniture for our room. We checked out some pices in the salinas branch in and really liked them; but ended up placing our order in the Gilroy branch. Joe the sales floor guy was very helpful looking up what we were looking for and placing the our order.
