Ashley Store Hawthorne, CA

I’m very upset because I went to buy a couch and I parked in the Ashley store parking lot I always buy all of my furniture in this store. I found the couch that I wanted and I went outside to my car to get my Ashley credit card and my car was gone the furniture store called the tow truck to take my car because it was trespassing like what…. I'm buying furniture. Also, when I walked in the guy who was welcoming people looked at me up and down as if I wasn’t gonna buy anything 👎👎👎thanks Ashley store I had to pay $400 to get my car just for 1 hour I was parked in the lot where I was buying something from you guys.

Save yourself the trouble and do not buy anything from here. It’s been a A disaster from the beginning. I purchased the couch online and then four days later. I was told that my order was canceled because the third-party who verifies your information couldn’t verify my banking information even though I did not purchase the couch with any banking information, I used a credit card. so I had to go in store and re-purchase the couch, pushing back my delivery date by a month, I use the same credit card that I used to purchase it online and everything went through. There’s zero reasonable explanation for the first one not going through. When my white couch was delivered, it was covered in dirt. I was told Customer Service would be contact me the next day regarding scheduling a technician to come out and try and clean it, it was almost a week before anyone got back to me. It took me contacting the person I bought the couch from, Victor sending him a formal message documenting all of the times I’ve reached out to him and Customer Service and not received a response And threatening to have them dispute the entire charge through my credit card company before I got a response. A week later they sent out a technician to try and clean it. It was not cleanable, so they sent me a replacement couch. That was also covered in dirt and the dust cover on the bottom was ripped off after receiving a VIP inspection. I’m unsure how this passed in the first place but not socked. I’ve now been waiting over five hours for the technician to come and try and clean the new couch, they are late outside of the window provided, I’ve received zero communication about when they will arrive. I spent thousands of dollars on this couch, I’ve also spent hours of my life contacting these people to try and get this couch delivered to me in the state that it should be originally. There’s no reasonable explanation as to why it is this difficult to get a couch delivered in pristine condition. Don’t buy anything from the store. It’s awful. It’s a waste of time. Go to Macy’s go to Wayfair go to Amazon go to any other place that sells furniture

He guided us with the most amazing information that led us to find a beautiful set and along with Johnny . They made this purchase pleasant and very straightforward. I put down $1,200 on a sofa purchase. I changed my mind two weeks before delivery and went in the store to request a refund. Four days later, they have not processed my refund and plan on delivering the order!

I'm having people over on 12/24...NOW I GET A CALL SAYING THE ORDER WILL NOT BE HERE BECAUSE WHAT I BOUGHT IS ON BACK ORDER AND IT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL JANUARY 1,2025!!!...The Sales person who has an IPad said it was in stock on the day I bought it..WTF so what did I buy air? I have no furniture and I'm suppose to have people over on Christmas Eve...So I guess I'll just have to cancel because I have no furniture and no where to sit! Never again will I buy from this company...

I recently purchased a recliner love seat. There were some mechanical issues which the in-home tech felt shouldn’t be fixed, rather a replacement was ordered. The new recliner was delivered in a timely fashion and the delivery team was very professional. I would go to Ashley for other furniture items without hesitation.

Awful customer service. Saw a table there, bought it, and walkin out the door saw one I liked better. Not 3 min had passed and said I now want the new one. They COULD NOT cancel the first sale. So we were going to have to buy the new one and RETURN the one we didn’t want. Gets better. The new one was a floor sample and we could take it home, but because the next morning some store big wigs were coming to check out the store they said we couldn’t take it with us. Had to come back in the morning . We live 10 miles away! Argued with the manager to no avail. The place is the size of a mini football field and I said you really think the big wigs would notice one missing table!!!! Well came back the next day to pick up the table and sure enough one of the big wigs was ther,explained the story, and he COULDNT BELIEVE we had to come back. Yup! Story doesn’t end! We had to wait 2 weeks for the delivery of the table we didn’t want, then call them to come pick it up. Try getting to someone at the store who knew anything about picking up our table! And they wanted to charge us! Well finally, after many phone calls, they come to pick it up. Said it would take a week for our credit of $400 to come back to us! Nope!!kept calling. No one had any idea again. Well I finally contacted my Visa card and disputed the charge. They have not heard from Ashley and have 2 more days until the case is dropped and I keep my rightful credit amount. They are so sweet and accommodating when you walk in to buy, but then——-WATCH OUT. STAY AWAY.

I went into the store to make a purchase and right on the day of my delivery, I get a call stating that my mattress is on back order and don’t know when will it become available. So I cancelled the whole order and I was told I would get my refund in 24-48hrs. Fast forward to 4 weeks later, I am BARLEY receiving my refund back and that’s because I spent about 2hrs on the phone with customer service figuring out why they never deposited my refund back in 24-48hrs like that said. I had to call to order the bolts and was told it would be 7-10 days. It has now been 3 weeks with my table in pieces on my dining room floor. I have tried to call the store multiple times, but they do not answer. I have no status update. I would have never ordered this table if I knew it would be over a month before I got to use it. I will update this review if they make things right in a timely manner.

The service here is horrible. I purchased a love seat and sofa recliners and added the piece to be able to also make it a sectional. When I purchased them a manager told me I could do a price match guarantee if I find them cheaper in another store. So I found a furniture store that sells Ashley products and let me tell you, at Ashley's they hike the price over 200%. I went to the store and the manager had to call me back. They said that since the furniture was delivered they can no longer price match when the manager that day told me I had 30 days from purchase. This is the worst place to buy furniture. I only went because of the 60mo. Finance deal. If I had all the cash I'd support small businesses instead of buying at Ashley. They scam you and over charge. Check out West Coast Furniture in the city of Paramount instead. Tell them I sent you. You won't regret it

To begin with the sales person was very nice and knowledgeable, it was from delivery where it went downhill. We purchased queen/king bed frames and king temperpedic in store. When they delivered they brought the wrong king bed frame head board. My husband kindly asked to have it corrected but the gentlemen that delivered it were communicating to their boss which was a lady over the phone and she didn't want to help us out although they made the mistake in bringing the wrong item. She wanted to only take the headboard but yet the bed would be unstable, even the delivery drivers told their boss that, then she proceeded to tell them to leave the bed on the floor (mind you it's a 6k bed plus I'm 8.5 months pregnant, how am I supposed to sleep on the floor? ) so then she decided to take the entire frame. At that point we were still trying to get it fixed but this lady over the phone made it that much more difficult to do a simple exchange so we decided for them to take it all back , that's when the real headache started. I called customer care which the store suggested I do that, they couldn't help then they redirected me back to the store again everyone kept passing me on to the next person I spoke to Christian and Maria from customer care. In store I spoke latrice and Johnny who is the store manager which has the worst communication ever ! I had to go personally in store in order to get an answer of what was being done. I was told their return policy which is final sale on in store purchases which makes no sense cause online return policy is very generous! But yet their excuse is that they're different from online but yet they're the same name, same company, same furniture! The reasons I was given were BS. The store manager Johnny needs training on how to deal with customers in a timely and professional manner. Ontop of that I wasn't given a receipt or any type of paperwork that serves as proof of purchase so how am I supposed to be aware of the final sale in store purchase otherwise I would've re-considered my purchase. At this point I will never ever buy from Ashley's ever again! I will go back to Jerome's furniture instead at least they were transparent from the beginning.

I worked with the "Trusted Advisor" Desiree who worked with me to buy a couch. We picked out a couch, went through the purchase, and set a specific delivery date. This delivery date was specifically set on a Saturday due to me being out of town Monday-Friday weekly. I get a call on Thursday saying that the movers are outside my unit and are wondering where I am. I talk with customer service at Ashley HQ and turns out Desiree never set the proper delivery date. Due to it being Thursday, all the delivery times on saturday (when it was supposed to be delivered) were taken. Due to this, I had to wait an additional week, book tickets to come back into town (100$) for the delivery date on the following saturday. I reached out to Desiree who told me she would have Johnny (the apparent "manager") reach out to me. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard back from Desiree, or Johnny. The customer service at this store is RIDICULOUS. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

So comfortable as you have many settings for comfort level. Also purchased a single leather grey recliner. A dining table with 4 chairs. The fabric on the chairs is linen and very comfortable to support your back. The table is wood and nice. Also chose a tv stand with electric fireplace for cold winter nights. It has drawers included and shelves too. A nice shade of a light brown. All in all a very good experience. We love our furniture! And a big thanks to Simon and the delivery team as well.

Stopped in and the prices were too good to walk away from. Kids had fun with the candle making. And we adults had peace of mind crossing off a long aging to-do item of getting new couch and sofa. Win-win all aroundDelivery guys were decent. We rescheduled when we realized another day was better for our schedule - they were easy to contact for reschedule. On the day of delivery, they texted that they were going to be a little outside the planned window. When they arrived, one strong guy single-handedly took the couch and then sofa off the truck on his head. Amazing. He and a coworker then attached the couch legs with the fastest drill gun work I've seen. Felt like I was watching formula one pit stop work. They took away all the packaging and arranged the couches as I specified. I inspected the furniture and gave them a thumbs up. Done in less than 10 min. Worth the $99 delivery and set up price tag. The tenured in-store rep advised I do this $99 white glove delivery vs the $59 delivery without set up as a preventative measure. I get to inspect the furniture and have the delivery men take something back if not up to par. If anything was wrong with the $59 delivery only, I would be on the hook myself to take the furniture back to the store. I don't have a truck to haul back furniture that may have damage. Made sense to me. I appreciated his advice. And hubby could not have assembled the couch feet in mere minutes. Worth it The newly unpacked couch and sofa let off some chemically smells. We left the windows open for a few hours to have them air out. Smells subsided quickly. I am now watching to see how the furniture ages. Will report back if problematic

He’s awesome he help us out very well and was not pushy to buy and try and sell us up

Benjamin and Marcelino (store manager) were absolutely wonderful to work with. We only went in to look around and with their help and honest opinions, we bought a new sectional and ottoman.

My visit at the store today was amazing! Gellie was very helpful and understood my problems, and the manager Leno offered a kind and thoughtful solution to what I needed as well. One major thing I noticed when I drove into the store was how clean the parking lot was. I am in this area very often and haven’t seen the parking lot look this clean and inviting in a long time. This is the worse place to purchase furniture. The customer service is terrible. The communication is subpar. They use a company off-shore to handle customer complaints. I returned an item in which I paid cash for and have been waiting for a return check for over 3 months. Every department pushes the responsibility to another department with no resolution. Please do not purchase from this store. They DO NOT value their customers. I wish I didn't have to give a star at all.

I had the most excellent experience and day when I went in the store looking for a much needed recliner for my wife who has health issues and needed something very comfy for sitting and sleeping in an upright position. Ben Valencia who proved to be a very "Trusted Advisor" greeted me as I entered the store. From the start he was of great help in assisting me to find what I needed. He suggested I apply for credit and to my amazement I was approved! Ben was very knowledgeable and quick to help me find exactly what I needed. It truly was an excellent experience visiting Ashley Furniture in Hawthorne. The manager, Johnny, was also very kind, professional and respectful. They both definitely made me feel comfortable and good about shopping with them. Their service and quality of business is top notch! You gotta come visit this location. You will not be disappointed. Lino and Gellie were very helpful in purchasing the right mattress for my lower back pain. I got a great deal on my mattress, I definitely recommend coming to this store.

Found the front desk agent to be snippy when requesting to have the assembly fee waived given the amount of money I have spent in there already. She told me I would have to speak to a manager and said he was busy. Left me on hold for 15 minutes. Called back, same agent answered with, "please hold" and immediately put me on hold. Called back again and she told me she knew it was me, so that's why she didn't bother with a salutation on the second phone call. Left on hold again. Called back, and was told by another agent that Leno is still busy with another customer. It's been over an hour now, and still no call back from Leno. Sad. Guess they want me to take my business elsewhere.

I went there yesterday to purchase a tv stand with fireplace, which was on sale. I did the purchase and was told it will be delivered October 3rd. After 3-4hours, the sales guy called me and told me I had to add $450.00 or cancel my order because they did a mid on their end. They should honor their prices when they decide to put them on sale. That's my last time going there
