We went to HB store didn't have any plans to shop but we came out spending over 8k. Vern the store manager was very knowledgeable and Pam the sale associate was very helpful as well. They both helped us to get good deals.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Ashley Furniture online and the store not taking responsibility for anything. Save yourself the hassle and buy from stores with good customer service. Lots of miscommunication, it’s ridiculous for such a big and well known company. Here is my email I sent with details to customer service (I called and they could not supply me with the Huntington Beach location manager address...weird)-- Hello, I am extremely disappointed with Ashley furniture. I called Ashley in Huntington Beach on 11/7/24 regarding the credit for warranty. They explained the side table is not in stock anymore so I would need to use the credit. I explained I have a whole matching bed set (bed, side tables, dressers) and I want a matching side table to complete the bed set and so it’s not mismatched. The employee said he would look into it and call other stores to see what he could do. I got a phone call and email two days later from Ashley customer service on 11/9/24 that the piece of furniture was in stock and it would be delivered to my house. I arranged my whole schedule so I could be home (11/13/24) for the arrival. I got an email confirmation and noticed it was for delivery at my old address, even though I gave my new address to the person over the phone. When I went to change the address online, I had to change a different delivery date. I rearranged my schedule AGAIN in order to be home (11/16/24). I emptied the dresser and moved it out of the way to prepare for delivery. I got an automated phone call from Ashley that said my order would be delivered at 10:10am. I checked online tracking and it said my order was one stop away. I waited for over an hour and there was no delivery and the phone tracking changed to “unable to start”. I emailed customer service online and they said it will be delivered still, I just have to wait the whole time window. I was not confident in the answer so I also called Ashley customer service and they gave me no answer as to why the order was canceled and couldn’t provide me the number to the delivery drivers. I was told a claim case number was made 09897992. I ended up calling Ashley furniture in Huntington Beach and explained the situation since online customer service was no help. I ended up being told there was no delivery order even put in and I shouldn’t have received that phone call and emails. I asked what the store could do for me for the huge inconvenience. I explained I want a matching dresser for the rest of the bed set. I was told they can’t do anything and they can only give me the credit and I can use it if I want. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Ashley furniture. I moved my whole work and personal schedule to be home for this delivery. I even had my dog sitter pick up our dogs that morning so the dogs wouldn’t be in the way for the delivery drivers. For this huge inconvenience and mistake on Ashley’s end, I am asking for Ashley to make this situation right to a loyal customer. I have purchased several items from Ashley and I can’t believe this happened and that Ashley is doing nothing to make up for it. If I could get even just two side tables that are similar in color and material to the rest of my bed set that would be enough. I have attached photos and evidence. Please email or call me back with what Ashley is going to do. Please also forward this email to whom it may concern.
As soon as we walked in, we met Pam here in Huntington Beach. She was so helpful gave me information I didn’t even think to ask and ended up bringing our son and wife back and bought exactly what they wanted. She helped us get discount for black Friday and scheduled everything in less than 10 minutes. Beautiful sectional we were so happy!
Shopping was easy at the store, huge selection of items. We purchased a couch and ottoman from Kay, he was nice and knowledgeable. We would definitely shop here again!
Love the tables. Makes our new break room look great. Penny, our person at Ashley was a gem. Very professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, very personable. She made a big difference!

Bad company all together. The mattress I got was completely misrepresented and miss advertised as “ultra plush”- turns out it was level 6 out of 10 on the firm scale. With 12 DAYS to return the mattress, they sent a “technician” to my house on day 13 knowing that the timeframe to return would have passed. The technician put his hands on the mattress, pushed it down a couple times, then said, “it feel soft to me”, then left. it’s all about bait and switch and terrible customer service. GO ANYWHERE BUT THIS COMPANY!! Don’t be fooled by the generic email below. They don’t care at all. I already emailed them and called MANY times and was told there was nothing they could do about it. In the end, I had to buy an entirely new mattress. After two months of sleeping on cement. $1004 wasted because they refused to be honest in their advertising. Once they get your money - they turn their back on you. Fraudulent advertising and unethical treatment.
Wow I was so impressed with not being pressured to buying anything. We visited different furniture stores and here at Ashley furniture Vern and Tommy went out of their way to answer any questions we had and they were very helpful. Plus I was happy with the choice I made in the living room set and the price was right.

My visit to our local Ashley Furniture store was a great experience, Jeff was the sales person who helped me out and was not pushy in trying to sell me something. I found the couch and loveseat that I was looking for and I’m excited to have them delivered next week.
The sales representatives added a 749.99 warranty which I did not consent to buy. We had no discussion of a warranty whatsoever. They just added it. I’m going to file a complaint with the BBB.
To say we are disappointed with our Ashley experience is an understatement,customer service was terrible our issue was first highlighted in early August and took until mid October to be resolved after numerous visits back to the store where we made the purchase and numerous emails to customer support. We won’t be shopping with Ashley again.

We had an issue withe the coach we bought. The Service tech that came out to fix it was incredible. The sale person That we dealt with new everything about the product. We will be coming back for our next purchase.
The salesman was great, their customer service is horrific. Bought a couch, one of the pieces made it too long so we asked to return one of the 7 pieces. We were a day late due to my wife came down with COVID and they told us to pound sand. Will never shop there again, once you leave the store they could care less about you. So much for customer service.
Wish I was leaving a positive review but we had a frustrating experience. We ordered a leather sleeper couch. Had to refuse twice because of quality issues. Even delivery guy made comments on quality. Talked to management at HB store and they were rude and acted like we were being difficult. We finally agreed on 3rd attempt because I loved the look of couch so much. They set it up as VIP delivery and acted like they were doing us a favor (Salesperson was good, it was management that was rude).VIP meant they unbox and inspect prior to delivery. . The night before, they sent photo. It appeared leather was gathered and lumpy on back of couch, I replied questioning it.. no response. They delivered. It was lumpy on back of couch but since we had up against wall, I accepted it. However after sitting on right side, board on back cushion creaked so loud with every move. Had to call for repair right away. The sofa is beautiful and we’ve purchased from Ashley’s before about 10 years ago and had a good experience. But something has changed with service and quality. .

Pam was incredibly helpful and patient as I was choosing new storage for my kitchen. I chose it somewhat non-traditional option because I loved the material and the mix of glass and wood which gives a modern warm vibe to a very small apartment space. The furniture is beautifully crafted and the delivery process was easy and quick.

My wife and I spent several hours picking out living room and dining room furniture with the help of Jeff Asano and left there feeling quite pleased with the products and the help from Mr Asano. There was never any pressure on us to pick certain items but rather Mr Asano gave us product information that helped us make our choices.

I visited the Ashley Furniture store while visiting in Huntington Beach, CA and had a wonderful experience. Patricia Plummer was wonderful and spent a lot of time and energy helping me. Even though I let her know that because I lived in Northern California I would not be making any purchases on that day, she was still SO helpful in helping me understand how I might be able to make a purchase for delivery if I found something that I liked. She followed up with a phone call a couple of days later to give me details of how that would work. All in all, I spent approximately 2 hours looking, asking questions and getting very educated on all the Ashley furniture I was looking at. Highly recommend this store for anyone considering a furniture purchase of any kind.

I bought 1100 dollar chairs, two of them and the chair is broken making noises on on the massager and jerking. The guys who came to my home did not complete their job and I have been on the phone with customer service for 20 minutes trying to schedule an appointment for them to fix it. I asked to speak with a manager and the woman in customer service told me they don’t have a manager. I asked for a replacement for these chairs that I got LAST WEEK and they told me I can’t get a replacement, a technician can only come look at it and fix it. I did not spend 1100 per chair for there to be issues not even a week later.
I just purchased a table and I need help to load it in my vehicle, Kevin and DJ were both so very helpful. They took the time to remove the table legs and carefully placed each piece in my car. I am grateful for them taking the time to help me.

Customer service was superb, super fast transaction, no BS marketing to upsell something we don't need and was very direct. She's sooo helpful in giving us a discount too. Thank you Neisha. Worst furniture store to ever go too. I have never seen such bad customer service. Please save your time and money and don't come here. They do not acknoledge you whatsoever and are really rude.
Pamela was an amazing person to talk to about my daughter’s room. She guided me in the right direction to find what I was looking for and took the time to explain the dimensions and prices. I felt very comfortable and at ease with how she handled everything. Thank you for your help.
I would caution against buying anything from here. they sold me a sofa which started peeling right after 1.5 years. They also sold me a 5 year warranty but when I filed a claim they said peeling is not covered and this is happening because of user handling. Which was not true. I had repeated discussions with Ashley employees and the warranty company but no use. After posting this review they responded with standard " is there anything we can do" and did nothing as usual. Bad quality products , higher prices and deceitful business practices. Businesses like these do not last long.

Pam asked the right questions and took the time to really understand what I was looking for. BEWARE OF "FIVE YEAR - ZERO INTEREST" FINANCING PROMISE Scammers. My husband and I purchased a sofa set from this place from salesman Samuel. What a nice guy! He was so welcoming and personable; talking with us about family and smiling in our faces. He promised us a "five year, zero interest" financing option which he and my husband talked about multiple times during the interaction, and again during purchase. It's one year later and we get a $700+ interest charge. Looks like he got us!! When he checked the contract, we realize he snuck it in that we would only be on a "12 month no interest" plan. Ashley customer service is of course no help. It's already been sent to the credit agency and they "can't do anything for us" except promise to have the store manager call us (which of course also never happened). I am not writing this review in hopes that Ashley will care about their sneaky salesman, because honestly I imagine they know it's going on but don't really care. Just want other people to be aware and double check your contracts.

He showed us a great deal on three items based on what we told him we were looking for and we ended up purchasing the items. Bruce was extremely polite, helpful and not pushy.

Hello this is a update to a Small Apartment size hide a bed. I'm a caregiver. I sleep in this for my daughter. I specifically asked about the bars underneath as I have Very bad back and Joint pain. I was told this was all a flat service on the bottom where the memory foam is. Welp, I slept on this 2 nights. There are bars going right into my back. I haver slept and I expressed my concern to the salesperson who could have beef alittle more honest with me. 800 dollars is alot to pay to be unconformable. Shame on you for wanting to sell rather then be honest to your customer. 😞
One of the items came broken, coffee table. I called the company and left message. No reply yet. The new coffee table should immediately. I am waiting...

Today is Weds 5/1/24 and just left the store at 6:12pm. BF and I walked into the store around 6pm. For the first time ever, we were never approached by one single person offering to help. We don't usually like to be bothered when shopping but we like to know who's available to ask if we've got any questions. They had about 5 sales people on the floor. Not a single person said hi or even made eye contact. Multiple people just walked in by. Really bad service. Maybe their weekend sales people are better or more attentive? Maybe we weren't dressed nice enough? Who knows! But won't be going back.

I went into the store looking for a new leather sofa. I was very impressed by the overall experience. All the team members were extra helpful and knowledgeable. I never once felt pressured. I ended up being helped by the store manager Josh who was more than accommodating. He answered all my questions and made sure that I was happy with my selection.. It's been a month now and I love my new sofa. I'll definitely be going back here whenever I need to upgrade my furniture. Thanks again Josh for all your help.

I searched online but needed to see the sofa in person. Jeff Asano was wonderful He took me directly to it and then highlighted the accessory pieces. At one point we even took the pillow outside to check color in natural light. Could not ask for better customer service.

Have been in this store twice in the last 2 weeks and have had nothing but amazing experiences. If you’re looking for new furniture, this Ashley can’t be beat! I was helped by both Penny and Aya, and my wife and I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. Both were so helpful, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable! But every employee I spoke to was kind and welcoming!

the moment I walked in to Ashley's I felt welcomed the atmosphere in this store is great , on my first visit my initial contact was with Jeff he is a delightful Asian man and very informative in answering any questions you may have, I didn't feel pressured by his customers service, he was awesome! There was also a white gentleman that jumped in at a point and answered my questions his energy was matched with Jeff's, both were just so helpful. I decided to come back (the very next day) I brought my husband into the store to show him items that interested me from the day before... again we had that great customer service from the sales floor an African American woman with short silver hair, the second we walked in the store we felt welcomed, we took our time browsing around the store and never felt pressured into purchasing Items.On my third visit,...(yes, I came in here 3 days in a row) I was ready to make my purchase I met with the store Manager Michelle who was a delightful African American woman, she was very helpful and informative, she talked me thru credit and financing options, I was approved and able to schedule delivery of my new items. She made the whole finalizing process easy, her customer service was superb! Over the last 3 days my over all experience of shopping at Ashley's from the employees on the sales floor to the management was the amazing customer I received it made my shopping experience just that much better. Ashley's Huntington Beach keep up the good work!

Very rude African American Lady at the front desk, yelling at my aunt and discriminating stating its company policy.Do not come here if you want to get yelled at by this black lady because you have an Asian Accent, and if you want to be talked down to in a condescending tone.Acting all see you next tuesday-ey because the manager is not in the building, and talking down to my aunt because she has an asian accent.Lack of Proficiency in the english language or the existence of a foreign accent does not in any way reflect the lack thereof of education or intelligence.To that mean African American Lady who is always sitting on her ass in the front desk acting like she owns the place, a piece of advice:Act professional hunny, this is Huntington beach, not the ghetto. You may talk that way at home to your children or whoever, but come correct.Edit: added one star for the amazing customer service experience provided by Christie. The mean african american lady who went out of her way to make my aunt and our visit Unpleasant and kept emphasizing "fraud" ( as if, I make more in a month than she does in a year so please) because we are asian; her name is SHIRLEY. Shirley, idk what your problem is but you need to choose a different field. You are very unprofessional, argumentative, and are not a fit for customer service. Perhaps go into Corrections, or something. It is better suited to your antagonistic negative energy. Only reason two stars is because of Christie's amazing patience and customer service skills.

Kevin and Jeff have been so wonderful and over the top on helping me today find the perfect couch, loveseat and recliner that I have been searching for. We have gone to Bob’s, Jerome’s and Living Spaces to find a very frustrating experience in each store. The HB location is nice. I walked in and browsed around a bit before I was approached by a sales person - which I appreciate. I don't like being confronted right away; give me a bit to see if you even have anything like what I'm looking for. And, Maya did just that. The store is well kept and easy to walk around. Found what I liked right away, but I still walked around. This was the 6th store I had been to that day so I knew I'd either find what I wanted quickly or leave. Ended up with a sofa and love seat being delivered in two weeks. Thank you!

My wife and I recently visited Ashley Homestore in Huntington Beach in search of a specific type of queen bed. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted, and it seemed like there was a lack of attention from the staff. When I approached a sales associate for assistance, he informed us that the bed we were looking for was only available online, which later turned out to be untrue as we found the same bed at the Santa Ana store. Additionally, when I asked about alternative bed options, the sales associate simply pointed in a direction and walked away, providing minimal assistance. Overall, the customer service at this location left much to be desired. The lack of a warm welcome, inaccurate information about product availability, and the unhelpful attitude of the staff were disappointing. It appears that the store may benefit from a complete staff overhaul to improve the overall customer experience.

The purchase I made at the showroom was for a 3 pc sectional at what I thought was the tagged price. When my delivery arrived it was a 2 pc sectional only. The sales person failed to tell me the tagged pc was for only 2 pcs. I had to purchase the 3rd pc for 500.00.

This is unusual, but I want to give a shout out to Penny who works at this location. I tried to get a chair for my dad, but it did not work out. Penny put forth a lot of effort on my behalf for a sale that did not happen. She was also quickly responsive. I will definitely be going back and enlisting her help if there are other furniture items I need in the future.

Salesperson was excellent. She is part of the reason why I bought from ashley. However I did not give five stars as I purchased a comforter with supposedly two pillow cases included. Upon arriving home we opened the comforter and found only the one pillow case holding the comforter not to as advised there would be.. nevertheless I will call the store later today and see if I can get the second pillowcase.

Just had the worse experience with Ashley’s. Not only did they deliver my furniture to the incorrect address after I provided and verified my current address. But they’re customer representative was beyond rude and offered no apologies or attempts to make it right. Highly suggest Living Spaces for a more pleasant experience.
The store and its associates are wonderful and helpful. They helped me find a couch quickly and the checkout process was quick. I would give them five stars. However, the delivery service experience was awful. I asked to be scheduled for an afternoon drop off because I work in the mornings and they sent me a confirmation the day before for 8:15 AM 12:15 PM. I call customer service and tell them it was supposed to be a later in the afternoon drop off but they said it cannot be accommodated. I told them I can try to leave work early and be there by 12 pm, but then they said that it’ll be delivered at 9:00 AM no exceptions. I was given no option but to reschedule, adding another four days to an already six day wait. I paid extra for delivery and set up but now I have to wait over a week to receive my couch. Not worth the hassle.
We recently bought a bedroom set for my son and the experience was awesome so when we decided to buy a new mattress for ourselves I called and spoke to Bruce to look up the exact mattress we purchased for my son . He did I asked him to send and invoice for my review which he did. I told him to go ahead and place the order as will be in the area to pay for it. I stopped in to make the payment Bruce was all smiles and had my info ready. In and out in less than ten minutes. That’s customer service and full deserving of a five star review. Thank You, Dean
Excellent service. Got the sofa I was looking for at a great price. 👍 Update 12/12/23. Got my deposit back. TY 👍👍Update 12/8/23 I spoke too soon. When I came into the store on Monday November 27th I was told by the saleswoman Penny (after checking her laptop) I would get my sofa the next day with a call from delivery. I didn't hear nothing so at 3:30 I called up customer service and they told me that my sofa was not in Colton Warehouse and would be there in late December or early January for delivery. I was not happy so I cancelled the order on Tuesday 11/28/23. I was told it takes 5 to 7 business days to deposit the $538 (including a $99.99 delivery charge) back into my Wells Fargo account but this is the 8th business day and still NO deposit! I hope the owner reads this and give this Vietnam Veteran his money back. Sure would appreciate it. Thank you.
We had a wonderful experience at the Huntington Beach, CA location. Joe was our guy! It is easy to get overwhelmed with all the options at Ashley Furniture, but Joe made it seamless. He was transparent in explaining the financing options available to us for a four-piece bedroom set and made sure we would be able to move into our new place with furniture on time. Went to Ashley Furniture looking for a bed. We were initially looking to replace our queen mattress for a King Mattress. Ali showed us the quality beds and mattresses and we were able to find our best match. He also was able to help fit us for pillows as we definitely needed ones that would be most comfortable for our new bed. His expertise and service were top notch and highly recommend him as your furniture sales professional.

Read before u buy-It's been over 2 months of run around from these people. The guy who helped us, John, nice kid, but need to be trained better, he ordered us the wrong thing a few times and didn't follow up on any of our issues. When we were in there asking about our things another sales lady told us "u should have had a more seasoned sales person." Like u got to choose my sales person. After purchasing all of a sudden a bunch of the things were on back order. We have literally been in the store once a week for since Labor Day (it's 11/16 today) trying to get this all figured out. We finally got everything and it's just bad. The mattress was on back order but they "found one in the the back of a wherehouse" should have know that would be bad, and yep, it's soft in one side and super stiff on the other, had a straight up crater in one side.Then the bed frame, I waited for months for them to tell me it's discontinued, and to pick a new one, too bad none match the entire furniture set they sold us with the bed frame. So they again "found one" they had it delivered, with no warning at 8pm, lucky I was home. It was a floor model, that they didn't disclose, and it had cracks they must have fixed in the truck because it was still wet when they gave it to us. Now one of the dressers is cracking all the way around. Instead of replacing any of it they have sent 2 guys that keep leaving my door open and letting my cats out to fix it. They had ever excuse not to fix it, but they r fixing the dresser in the most half assed way and said they can't do anything about the mattress. Google what this place is dealing with before purchasing, they have some lawsuits on them. Wish I would have check them out, they were great 10 years ago when I bought before, so I went for it, but it's not anymore. Every person I've mentioned any of this to follows up with they had an issue too. I bought 7k worth of furniture and they treat is likeShit.Just buy on Amazon, at least they return anything that's defective.

I had the WORST customer service experience at this store. Before purchase, I specifically asked about the return policy because I was waiting for my coffee table and chairs to arrive to see how the sectional I bought from Living Spaces all fit together in my living room. I simply want to return only the ottoman ( which was a mere $400 out of the $3.5k I spent) I was told they'd match Ashley Furniture's promise of 30 days from delivery return policy prior to them running my credit card.They LIED. It's now just 3 weeks later and I called and even went in person to the store and was denied return, exchange and/or store credit. GO TO ASHLEYS OR BOBS! They're right down the street, have the same inventory and much better customer service.

Went in shopping for my future home and was unsure of what to look for but was helped by Niesha Tran. She was very helpful, friendly, and made the experience pleasant.
Worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. I ordered a sofa 3 times online and every time it was cancelled due to a technical error, according to customer service. I should have went somewhere else after this but I decided to go to the store to order the sofa. The sofa was delivered several days later by their "premium" delivery service. Once unwrapped the sofa has 3 different locations with black stains and smudge marks as well as a hole rubbed into it during delivery. I have spoken to customer service 3 times in the last week as well as the store manager who continue to tell me a technician will be sent out to clean and repair the couch. I have yet to be contacted by anyone from customer service as I had to reach out every time. When you purchase a new sofa that is what you expect to be delivered. If I wanted to get a cleaned and repaired sofa I would have bought one on craigslist. Terrible customer service and delivery from Ashleys. This will be my first and last purchase from them.

This location has a great showroom with many living room configurations. Long helped me with all my questions and was very informative. I came back the day after to purchase and it was an easy purchase. All I recommend is to go early if you are thinking of a new couch so you have the greater rate of getting it when you’d like. I bought a popular couch so it will take some time to get it.

May got nice delivery but no quality control. In addition, it smells awful coming by with the staff smoking. Bad vibe and seen litter too as proven. Definitely not coming ever to do business.

Anyway Sep 12th I called to purchase on the phone Ashley's Altari Couch and rocking chair! So excited. My experience with Penny was super great and very easy. I never felt uncomfortable. FYI - I walked into other furniture stores that day and they seemed uninterested in helping (I guess I don't look rich or something) me. This specific Ashley’s store was highly recommended by some family members who had purchased their furniture from this location. I was helped by Asieh to pick the bedroom and living room furniture. I highly recommend asking for her if you visit this store. Her knowledge of their inventory was very impressive. We came to Ashley Huntington Beach after visiting the Long Beach location and there was a bigger selection with more options available at the Huntington Beach location. We were helped by Miriam who was very friendly and informative. She pointed out great options and was knowledgeable. She gave us space when we needed to discuss options and was available when we needed help with pricing and other questions.

Quick update, we went back after many years and Romeo is now a manager supposedly. He remembered the incident just as well as we do. After confronting him again, we left. We were actually willing to give this place another chance, but given his attitude we left. Stay away from this place unless you want to get cheated and lied to. I wish I could give it less than 1 star. Beware.

I ordered a full-size sofa sleeper for a second bedroom. I found the perfect size at a price I wanted to pay at Ashley Furniture. It was a very efficient purchase. A very nice salesman showed me the sofa, made the sale and set up the delivery. The delivery people were on time and very organized. Unpacking and setting up of the new sofa took about 20 minutes. They removed all the packing materials. Very easy purchase from start to finish.
I was really impressed with the salesperson Agnes. I had been shopping online to get some ideas of the couch & color I liked. She took her time, showed me around, gave me ideas. I had gone to another Ashley location the day before & the man basically told me they didn’t carry anything from my online list. So he advised I walk around & let him know if I see something I like. With Agnes, complete opposite shopping experience. I will go back when I’m ready and buy my dining room set with her assistance again. She was great!!

I purchased a sofa sectional less then a year ago @ The Huntington beach store and spent nearly $1800 on a couch and love seat and the couch cushions have collasped or caved in actually thier is not cushions inside the seating area its actually just some kind of a stretch type strap in between a square section of cushion and have fallen apart I purchased a extended warranty and they still have refused to help or remedy the problem for me Beware of there bait and switch tactics and false customer service and sense of wanting the best for the customer Friendlyness They just want to sell Inferior Quality products and dont buy into thier extended warranty they dont honor the warranty at all Its a scam if you dont say the right words they won't honor it...I am very upset and disappointed @ ASHELYS furniture store for letting my family and me down .In such hard times I spent alot of my hard earned money on less then Quality furniture .it's junk just .covered in pretty material I will continue to contact upper management and corporate offices until I can get this resolved I don't have $$ to just throw away .My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing any furniture from ASHELYS . !! Is BUY ELSE WHERE THIS COMPANY IS SELLING JUNK AND NOT HONORING THIER EXTENDED WARRANTY OR GIVing me ANY information on how to resolve the problem just playing phone tag with me ..I Give them less then 0 Starz.

The entire staff are super friendly. I told Bruce Vo what I wanted. He then took me straight to it. Bruce also suggested the color that will go perfectly in my home. Without Bruce guiding me I may have spent a couple of hours there. I got a great deal on a recliner that fits my needs. I spent well under what I expected to pay. Even at Memorial weekend savings. I left the store completely satisfied.

A total rip off . Beware of buying insurance . Protection insurance when i called to put a claim in they told me it wasn’t covered only discolored wood and stains ( who in their right mind would but $300 insurance for that you can easily get a rag and clean it yourself . I’m so disappointed and the attitude of the customer service is there’s nothing i can do mam. I’m so mad i ever got my table there and to top it off it was my birthday gift . My birthday was February still haven’t used it because they won’t honor the insurance.

I HATE to shop so I was very surprised and happy at Ashley Furniture. It took me 2 days to purchase my sectionaL. Two days because I couldn’t decide between 4 sectionals. I also couldn’t resist their sale and purchased a sectional and ottoman for my daughter and son-in-law. Customer service was absolutely awesome. Penny was especially helpful and patient. A few days later 2 sectionals and an ottoman were delivered 20 minutes prior to my delivery time range. So… Every aspect of my experience with Ashley furniture was great!!!

Terrible experience first sofa was delivered damaged took two weeks to get the replacement ,Then I was double charged on my credit card when calling customer service I was met with rude offshore call center employees that didn't speak English and refused to connect me with the supervisor. I ended up having to dispute the double charge with my credit card company, what a huge hassle this this company hasn't the slightest idea what customer service is. Don't waste your time with Ashley furniture It's quality is a joke it's Chinese junk and customer service is atrocious shop someplace else!

We have been doing business with Ashley for over 20 years. However after this recent experience we will look elsewhere for our home furniture and would never recommend them to anyone! We purchased a cocktail table and two matching end tables for $720. (Also a sofa and loveseat, total invoice $2,517.71) The salesman sold us the 5 year extended warranty protection at $289.99, telling us IT COVERS EVERYTHING on these pieces for 5 years, no matter what the reason for the damage.Over the the last couple of months the laminate around the edges of the cocktail table began peeling off. I called the warranty company and told them what was happening to the table. She proceeded to tell me that it wasn't covered because you have to notify them within 30 days of the damage occurring AND it only covers ONE AREA OF DAMAGE ON THE PIECE OF FURNITURE! I asked to speak to a supervisor and got the same answer! I then called the Ashley's store and the manager said they couldn't help me, it has to be the warranty company to make any exception. The warranty company wasn't budging!So much for the 5 year warranty covering any damage no matter what as we were told by the Ashley salesman who sold us the furniture and the policy !!!never do business with Ashley again !!!

The only problem was a small one with the store not having any change for cash paying customers other than that issue it was a very pleasant and easy experience. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for furniture their inventory is extensive and beautifully displayed. Our sales person was very pleasant and not pushing oversell of unneeded items or contracts.

Still waiting for my replacement. A segment of my sofa was damaged during the delivery. They unwrapped the piece, brought it up the stairs, and the sofa fabric was snagged on the stucco wall outside. Custom service is the worst. No call backs. They said a technician would call me to come out to my home and assess the damage to determine if it would be repaired or replaced. Still waiting for the technician to call to come out. I've been told twice that he would call. Still nothing.Now they are asking for photos, I have sent them let's see what happens. I will keep you posted. In the meantime I suggest you shop elsewhere.

Purchased a bed for $1k. I received a mattress that sinks in and makes noise. I called the day the mattress arrived and did everything right on my end. I have been running around for a month to exchange the mattress. They send the same technician TWICE. Finally, an employee at Ashley Furniture said that he would do the exchange. Then, silence. I call 4 days later and he tells me he can't do it. They already sent a technician twice and specified that the mattress makes noise. The technician also agreed that it does slightly sink in when it shouldn't. I went into the store and the manager is saying she can't help me and that her employee shouldn't have stated that he would do the exchange. Again, she's passing on the issue and expects me to sit silent and keep a $1k mattress that's not in good shape. I called costumer service and they say something different than what the manager is telling me. This store has absolutely no costumer service and they are all over the place, don't take responsibility, and rude at times. They refuse to help me and yet again, want to send a technician a THIRD TIME to my house. I have been going in circles and even the manager doesn't pick up the phone. They say they'll talk to the higher ups, but they don't. I'm tired of this treatment and will be speaking with the local consumer agencies. I cannot believe the service this store has.. ridiculous, messy, disorganized. The employee called himself the manager and said he'll do the exchange and now isn't following through. Apparently, everyone in that store is a manager and refuses to help. If only they cared enough to actually reach out and try to find a solution.

This furniture store is decent and have good prices, the amount of furniture on display is enough to help you make a decision, some other can be seen via catalog, the price is ok, but the delivery charges are stupid expensive, I will update the review once we get what we bought

Months ago, my grandma and I ordered a dining room table with chair set. The set also came with choice of plates, mugs, dishes and place mats. It seemed like a great deal at an already high price we paid. Our dining room table and chairs arrived on time and in good condition, luckily. On the other hand, everything else we ordered arrived late, missing and broken!!! We tried going in person twice to file a claim and talk to the managers there who could help us. We honestly were not treated the best and their solution was to reship what was broken/missing. We had to wait a couple months just to receive a broken shipment again even though they promised the best shipping protection possible. (They arrived the same way the other shipment arrived as). We also did not receive the placemats. After multiple attempts to resolve things, we decided will no longer be buying anything from Ashley's.
I was there to buy sofa and our assistant Tran, she is so nice and helpful to compare among the various sofa we would like to purchase. If you visit here, I strongly recommend Tran to assist you :)
My boyfriend and I went to look for couches and dinning tables for our new home. Cory greeted us right away and was very helpful. He asked us what we were looking for and was able to show us items in our price range. I really liked that he wasn’t trying to push anything on us. We will definitely be coming back and will look for Cory to help us with our purchase.

My girlfriend and I slept on the carpet for nearly five days, after having to replace the damaged furniture. Finally, It arrived and was replaced, but the TV stand's door didn't work properly from the delivery day. I told them and they said they would send someone to fix it. later, a careless technician was sent out, and all he did was act like he was adjusting the door. I begged him to replace it, and he stated he would file an order to do so; however, no one has gotten in touch with me since then. When I contacted, they told my replacement order was canceled since the replacement windows is only 3 days. They are unreachable and a waste of time and money.

Why is customer service so bad? The furniture was dropped off and it was dirty. We rejected the product and had to call customer service. We were told they will call in 24 hours. Had to call multiple times to get someone to call us. Don’t shop here!
Quality furniture! Our sales rep Rick Bragg was amazing. He was friendly. and helped us select beautiful additions for our home. The construction quality of our loveseat and sofa made Ashley the right choice!

My husband and I purchased Stearns&Foster mattress here at Ashley's last year. Came back to write a review after 1 year because I still remember how our experience horrible was. The gentleman who helped us when we were buying was pretty nice, gave us a good deal. But after 3 weeks when we got the delivery, the product was slightly different than it has to be, as described. We contacted the seller guy, he said "oh sorry" and gave us $100 coupon. It was bothersome to exchange or return anyways so we just got the coupon. We usually forget these things but we decided to use that coupon because we felt like scammed. We visited Ashley's again and none of them were not welcoming us because we are not 'potential customer' anymore but came for only using the coupon. And there were the Vietnamese lady with funky hair, she said exactly like "You guys should come on weekdays not today. Can't you see we are busy?". So RUDE. We didn't want any items because everything weren't decent, but we changed to 2 whatever blankets with the coupon and guess what. They sent us blankets almost 8 months later, Lol. We almost forgot about it but it helped to bring back memories. So lame, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. We told every friends that they shouldn't buy anything here.

I’ve shopped at Ashley before and I had the same complaint then as I do now. As a shopper I want to be able to walk through a store or at least walk into a store and not have 10 sales people bum rush me. I don’t want people immediately to ask what I’m looking for because I don’t know, I don’t want people to follow me around the store because I feel like I’m being stalked. It never fails I get my chance to look around to regroup to out what I want talk with the people that I came in the store with and then I always walk out of the store having purchased something. My sales lady Christina was great it’s just that cluster of sales reps that stand by the door and just bombard you as soon as you walk through the store it’s very annoying and it also could leave me going somewhere else next time.
NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY WITH A REBATE OFFER. I purchased a recliner sofa from the store. i was offered rebate. it has been 10 weeks and i still did not get my rebate. i sent them the e-mail with all the details and i was asked the purchase receipt. i took the picture and e-mailed it. no answers. i am sending e-mails no answer. i am calling the store they say that it is a 3th party company and they can not provide me my rebate. they just put me on hold and i keep just waiting and waiting and waiting. if i was promised the rebate they were supposed to mail me the rebate. i never received it. AGAIN I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY ANY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY WITH THE REBATE OFFERS WITH MY EXPERIENCE. i think they just want me to give up.

Mediocre service. I had a great experience my first time buying a bed from Ashley's. Because I didn't purchase a frame with my bed, insisting that I would get one at some point down the line but not now, the sales lady gave me gift cards to use next time. I moved and was looking for a rug and found an opportunity to use my gift cards. I made my selection and proceeded to use my gift cards to purchase a $129 rug. With shipping and taxes the total was somewhere around $217 or $274 ( i really cant remember), which she showed me on her Ipad. Completely acceptable, I whip out my $300 in gift cards prepared to pay the total shown. At this point the sales lady's demeanor changed. I assume she's on commission and perhaps doesn't get any credit if paid with gift cards (also not my problem, because Ashley's was the one to give me the gift cards). She brings back paper work for me to sign. I sign the papers, but ask one more time for confirmation of the total because the total on the papers i signed was just $129. She cant give me one. Ok but where is the break down i had previously been shown on the Ipad?? She did not return with any gift card or balance from the gift cards ($300 -$274 =$26). How did a $129 rug turn into $300 or at least provide a balance gift card of $25. So I asked. She tried saying that with taxes and shipping that was that, but could not explain how $129 -> $300. She brought me to her supervisor, who said that they took care of the delivery fee and after taxes, they couldn't give me back $25. Ok again how does $129 -> $300?? If Ashley's took care of the delivery fee then my cost would be even lower, aka balance from the gift cards even more? I thank you for taking care of the delivery fee, but that doesn't explain the math and break down of fees and total cost. While seeming annoyed the supervisor handed me back $200 in gift cards. Great; however, I would probably have accepted the full charge had I been given a full explanation of the breakdown of how a $129 rug, turned in to $300. I came away from my experience today completely perplexed and laughing at the fact that the sales lady may not even put my delivery in because she was mad. But again, give me an explanation and don't get an attitude when I pull out gift cards i was given by your company.
Furniture is great but the customer service is absolutely horrible. Long waits on the phone and incompetent customer service. Whenever anything goes wrong no customer service rep has any recollection or record of it and all they do is deflect and blame. They literally blamed me for a 6 month shipping delay because i requested the delivery date be changed by 2 days. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere unless you’re absolutely convinced you want to buy your furniture and you don’t mind their horrible service

I went to this store to buy a mattress for the new house. I was treated very professionally and with the very best customer service from Nathan and Bruce. I highly recommend these 2 guys, very knowledgeable, when you come here for your next furniture purchase.
Never will I purchase from this company ever again. One and done. Made purchase the first week of January. Sales guy said it would take 3 weeks to be delivered. It took 3 months!!! Then, when it was delivered we find out they could have set it up for us. Surprising, since the sales guy told me they do not do set up and removal because of covid. So, I set it up myself, no biggie. Until... I realize they didn't deliver the rails that connect the bed! I called the store to see if they have them available and/or if they can help with this issue. Ha! Fat chance there. They tell me I need to call a phone number a file a report with them. This was the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing furniture. What a horrendous experience, one I will never have again with this company. Bye!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered at least $10,000 worth of furniture and the delivery was rescheduled 6 times. I still have not received my order. Horrible customer service. I don’t understand why they can’t just be upfront with us about our order. The store manager we called on the phone about delivery rescheduling was rude and kept laughing at me for asking about my order. They already took my money too. A waste of time and energy.
We bought a tempur-pedic bed from sales rep. Kiana Garcia at Ashley store in HB. The bed was delivered defect as the pictures. (Foot area was up high since it delivered) The foot area does not lay flat and not controllable by the remote. How can anyone sleep all night in this way? We also paid additional 10 yrs care plan when we purchased it. We called the sales rep. Kiana right when the bed delivered. Her line goes to voicemail all the time by the way. Tried to talk to Ashley customer service and they send us to call Temper-Pedic, and Temler-Pedic told us to call Ashley and said Ashley should get us a new one. We have been pushing around and still can’t use the bed for a week since the bed delivered. The bed costs us 4K and it is still sitting here. Ashley HB store manager promised us to send a tech over today to fix it and the tech no show. We called the manager and the manager said she can’t find him. So we wanted them to take the bed back and get us a new one. We were even told by someone that getting the bed is like buying a car. You can only get it repaired. So we got a lemon bed??? They told us we had to send it back to the warehouse by ourself. (So we have to pay foe the delivery again for return) Unbelievable!!! Be careful and be aware of this.
I was thrilled with my purchase until 3 days later I received a phone call saying the base to our bed was on back order and our delivery was being delayed by 3 days. The sales person assured me that the bed we chose was in stock and there would be no delays!

Penny was our sales rep and she was outstanding. My husband forgot the exact measurements for our living room, but Penny had so much patience and helped us measure and even waited for us to go home and come back. We ended up getting a tempurpedic mattress with a base and a big sectional. She gave us a great price and the manager (forgot her name, younger brunette) honored the price even though when we were checking out, items were out of stock she made it happen and upgraded a few things. They told us they appreciated us coming out of the way to shop at this store. Just very friendly and absolutely NO PRESSURE. I loved the experience. We did have an issue during delivery (manufacturing issue), but I contacted our sales rep and she contacted the manager that helped us and wow- I’m so happy she made the delivery happen. We went to pick out a new bedroom set, the sales lady told us everything is in stock and will have are furniture by Nov 14, it’s been over two weeks and we just got our bedroom set and when it arrived there’s a dresser missing, the delivery guy tells us that it’s on backed order, 2 days ago I confirmed with them and they said all my furniture was gonna arrive, they should be upfront with there customers and let them know that there factory doesn’t know how to manage orders and keep track of furniture, very disappointed

While looking for something to impress my guests before the holidays, I came across this establishment. Instead of naively ordering furniture from Amazon, I wanted to see it in person. I was pleasantly surprised when I came into Ashley Home. Edgar Grijalva was my assistant and the hottest! He was quite helpful and patient as I walked throughout the store, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each item. Thanks to Edgar G., I was able to find the perfect furniture for my mansion just in time for the holidays. Ask for Edgar Grijalva if you stroll into the business; he is the strongest and will help you find everything you're looking for. Edgar is still alive and well.

I canceled an order last week with One Stop Furniture due to waiting 6 months. Agnes could tell me which day each piece or furniture we were interested in would be delivered. She got us a great deal and had our furniture delivered 2 days later, from the order date. Outstanding service and I am very pleased!!

My parents bought a chair and couldn't bring it home. It took weeks for the chair to be delivered. Once it was, it was crooked and didn't work properly. When they finally had a technician come out, he was rude and dismissive. All of this and they had paid for the extended warranty. Poor product and poor customer service.
READ THE ROOM. The furniture was lovely and good price but the salesman almost UNDID the sale several times by ignoring that I am disabled, (Obviously) and could not keep up with His running toward the items we requested. He was 'selling" me from 20 feet in front of me, while facing forward. We did buy the couch and love seat but really feel like we were mowed over..

On May 30, 2021 I purchased many pieces of furniture at Ahsly. All of them were delivered on time, but a headboard was not delivered on time and furthermore three times of delivery were failed due to a couple reasons. Between Ashley and myself there have been conflict over the headboard. When Ashley stoped delivering the headboard to me, I asked help to BBB. BBB sent the first letter to Ashely, but Ashley did not do anyting. When BBB sent the second letter to Ashley, Ashely contacted me to solve the issue. The employee, Mr. Nathaniel Marsh, helped me to choose a new headboard and I chose one and Ashely delivered two days later. Now, I got my headboard finally. I appreciate BBB and Mr. Nathaniel Marsh of Ashley Furniture. Thank you for your help!

Customer service and our salesman was great. He was non pushy and gave us space to look around, no pressure.. NOT LIKE ASHLEY IN YORBA LINDA. Our salesman there was like a used car salesman. Pushy and arrogant. I did end up buying there but I wish I didn't. Stay away from this Ashley location.
The Ashley Home Store in Huntington Beach was wonderful when i visited yesterday. Kiana Garcia, the sales associate, was patient, knowledgeable and very nice. I enjoyed working with her and the other associates who helped with my purchase. The manager of the store was very professional in helping Kiana finalize the purchase. I highly recommend this store for your home furnishing needs.

Purchased a dining room set. The item was delivered by a very rude delivery team without the hardware. They showed up unannounced, tracked a bunch of dirt into my house and left a mess. Felt pressured into accepting an incomplete due to a "month long back order" if we refused the order. Extremely displeased with our decision to purchase furniture from this store.
Visited this location to find a nice couch and some patio furniture. Julie was quick to help and was able to accommodate all questions and requirements. There were a lot of different choices to pick from, and all staff members were friendly and also helpful. Highly recommend this location.

The purchase itself was fine. Delivery was fine. Post-delivery customer service was poor. One of the chairs was wobbly, the delivery guy called someone (corporate? warehouse? cust service?) to have someone come and fix it. They never called me or followed-up.

I purchased bedroom set in July when they deliver dresser and bed is damage when they deliver. Delivery boy just dump stuff and gone. I emailed Ashley customer service they exchanged dresser but they don’t have bed Iam try to exchange bed or return all items last 4 months but Iam not. I paid full amount to get damage stuff. now they said they can deliver bed next year in March.
Wasn't greeted nor offered help. All the sofas seemed the same. Only saw one item that appealed, but didn't want to look for someone to ask about it so left.
Nathan and Christine were so helpful when I came in today. They were willing to work with me and help me find exactly what I was looking for! Everyone in here was so friendly. I definitely recommend coming here for either large furniture or just house decor!

Service is terrible. Technicians forgot to order the damaged pieces and the scheduled delivery for another item was changed without notice. We were waiting for a delivery on labor day as it was agreed upon is writing but nobody showed up and no one apologized. This company is one of the worse experience we had buying furniture. We strongly recommend for people to shop somewhere else instead of going through the same disgraceful experience we had to endure.

Went furniture shopping around Huntington Beach today and one of our stops was Ashley Furniture. Of all the furniture stores we went to, Ashley was by far the best experience. Sales associate Najwa, was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She is super friendly and was extremely patient. We also worked with Tyson, who seriously killed it with getting us the best deal possible. He is also super friendly and easy to talk to. We will definitely be back here for future furniture purchases.
The customer service here was amazing!! Christine helped us right as we walked in, she wanted us to take our time picking out our new mattress. Her manager that helped as well can remember his name but he was just as awesome!!!!! We will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you both for the great experience, you both are lovely people and we had a nice time while there with the laughs.

Helpful, if slightly aggressive, salespeople. Did get cut a good deal, but overall ended up with a very poor experience due to multiple delays on delivery and ended up getting delivery moved one day before the delivery because they don't have it in the warehouse. Why would they not hold the item for my already postponed delivery (by 2 weeks) if I've already paid for it? Then if it's not in the warehouse why do I only get a call one day before that it's been postponed another 2 weeks. Ridiculous.
Our experience at Ashley Furniture HomeStore was honestly one of the best shopping experiences I have had. My soon to be wife and I were shopping for a bedroom set, and Tommy and Bruce made the experience unforgettable. Not only were they personable and knowledgeable, but they were patient with all of our questions and ultimately gave us an incredible deal. We will be continue to come back in the future!!

We were there on Monday, July 20 and ordered a lift chair. The salesperson told us it was available and would be delivered on Saturday, July 25. We received a call saying it was on back order and would not be available until July 29. Several phone calls and delays later it was finally delivered Aug 5. We have the chair now but it is not the same as the one my husband tried in the store. He is tall and the one in the store fit his long legs. This one does not. We were told it would be the same color as the one in the store. It is not. We are very disappointed in this transaction but will have to deal with it. It's too bad we didn't know it was on back order we might have been able to buy the floor model which fit my husband perfectly.

Super aggressive salesman that are on you as soon as you walk in. We told him what we were looking for (a specific type of recliner) and he just dropped us off at the living room area. Didn't see anything we liked. To be fair, Our friends did buy couch that they like. I probably won't be back

In short, Ashley Homestore has uncomfortable mattresses and poor service at exorbitant prices. We made a large order of Tempur-pedic mattresses, do yourselves a favor, do not buy this brand. We gave it the requisite week to break in these mattresses and it's been the worst week of sleep we've had. Of course Ashley won't let you return mattresses unless they're defective, that's why they're so eager to sell you something you can't return. In addition their delivery was problematic and sketchy. The delivery had poor communication and in the end, did their job, as they were supposed to, but it was like pulling teeth and arguing over and over just to get them to do their job. I do not recommend shopping at this store or buying Tempur-pedic mattresses.

This place has the worst customer service. They screwed up and delivered the wrong table and instead of making it right they avoided me. I've called 5 times and each time I get a different response so finally after the 5th call about nobody dealing with the issue they wanted to just give me some money off to keep the table Wrong table which is Not acceptable and because they are so uncaring and not helpful at all, i told them to come pick up the table and refund me the whole amount and cancel the actual table I actually ordered. I've spent thousands of dollars at Ashley but I'll never shop here again. Very disappointed at their lack or resolving an issue that was their fault to begin with. They only care about a sale and nothing more. Don’t give them your money because they don’t deserve it.

I was supposed to have a couch delivered, 4 months ago, and no one ever took the time to reach out to let us know about the delays. We always had to call and follow up. And each time we got a new delivery date and no customer service. When that new delivery date came, no one called us to let us know it was pushed again. It was extremely poor customer service and they never once tried to make it better. I’d recommend going somewhere else.
I was able to get what I wanted at the right price. The problem was the sales person. She was somewhat rude, and uninterested. She questioned why I would want only a headboard, why I would not have it assembled with delivery which is an additional $79, and seemed not to care about my answers. The thing is there is really no assembly required with either piece I ordered.

They have the most god awful customer service! I stayed in the desert longer than needed and they delivered the wrong thing TWICE! I can’t get a hold of the manager unless I physically walk in the store, nobody calls me and I get transferred to a call center that says they can’t reach the store! They are literally costing me money on a rental because of this!
This Ashley HomeStore in Huntington Beach is the best Ashley location I have been too. My wife and I were shopping to furnish our new home and the associate Jeff Asano made it such a pleasant and enjoyable experience. We did not feel pressured at all and he was patient and answered all our questions. We definitely would recommend our family and friends to come here and ask for Jeff.
Long story short: I will never buy furniture here again. Save yourself and choose elsewhere. I had an order that turned into an absolute nightmare. We were scheduled for a bed set and coffee table/end table set originally on 5/19. When the delivery persons arrived they notified us that they didn’t have the coffee table/end table set with them, that it was back orders BUT no one had ever notified us. We chose this set because it could be delivered on the 19th. We reschedule for the coffee table/end table set delivery to occur on 5/24. When the delivery persons arrive none of the glass inserts fit ANY of the tables. We reschedule again for delivery on 5/27. Again the delivery persons arrive and again NONE of the glass inserts fit any of the tables. I go to the physical store on 5/27 and speak with the store manager Acia. I explain the repeated problems. I also let her know that I now need this table set by Sunday, as I’m having family over. She promises me she can get the table set delivered on Saturday, 5/29 and she will mark it VIP status and have them put the table together to check the glass before delivery. Well Saturday 5/29 comes around and by noon I never received a confirmation text on what time to expect the delivery. So I call the delivery hotline and they tell me it was never scheduled by the store manager, that she didn’t complete the request. This same day, I go down to the store again and the store manager, Acia, is minimally apologetic. She states that it wasn’t her error but that the item was back ordered again somehow. So now I have people pointing the fingers at eachother and no one taking ownership. Acia said she would call the warehouse and see if they could delivery tomorrow (Sunday) and I told it it would have to be early morning because of my family gathering and that I’d likely prefer to just cut my losses and go find a set somewhere else. She said she’d look into it and call my by 1pm Well Acia never calls me again. She has an associate call and say that they can’t deliver Sunday so they will refund me for the table set and part of the delivery fee. I asked the associate to have Acia call me back because I felt entitled to the full refund of the delivery fee as I had to be available 4 days (3 of which I took off work to be present for delivery) and they all failed. I left 3 messages for the store manager Acia on Saturday and she never returned my call. The associates let me know she’d be in on Sunday, but again, she never returned my calls. We are now at the end of the day on Tuesday, 6/1 and she has yet to call me back. Stay away from this store.

My wife and I decided to get a new sectional and we shopped around quite a bit but decided we liked the ones at Ashley's and we started to get quotes on delivery. We received a few quotes on some sectionals stating they could be delivered in mid June. We decided that was too long of a wait and found another sectional that the rep mentioned would deliver on the 19th of May. We were in the first week of April so a month and a half sounds more reasonable then 2 and a half months for delivery so we decided to purchase the sofas. Fast forward to today (May 18th) the day before delivery and I am on chat with support to update my phone number so the delivery men can call me tomorrow and I am told my delivery isn't set to arrive at the warehouse till June 21st. I feel like the store rep lied to me to get me to purchase the sectional knowing all sectionals were not going to be delivered till June. This whole experience has been disappointing to say the least. Ashley's has nice furniture that my wife really liked but I don't think we will be going back after finding out my order is delayed by a whole month. I was not willing to make the purchase on the first sectional that quoted to deliver in June.

I had a great experience today in Ashley furniture in Huntington Beach. Our salesperson John was very helpful and patient as I tend to be indecisive at times. There were lots of options to choose from and I was very pleased with the large inventory. I ended up purchasing two loveseats an accent chair and a coffee table. I'm looking forward to the delivery later this week, and I'm already scoping out some other items.

I bought a power lift recliner not even four months ago for my mom that is 80 years old and already had to make an appointment for service that took two weeks to get. They gave me a timeframe between 2 PM and 5 PM around 4:30 PM I called to see where they were at and they said that they were here at 12:18pm and nobody was home so I had to reschedule. That is the worst customer service I have ever received I will never buy anything again from Ashley‘s furniture and their warranty sucks.
I love this branch of Ashley furniture - I’ve purchased multiple pieces on different occasions for both my home and office. Each of the furniture pieces I’ve purchased have been excellent with high-quality components and design. Nate and Edgar are the professionals who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on each occasion, and they have been very efficient, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure I found what I was looking for and scheduled a delivery that worked for me. While we explicitly told our sales rep John that we wanted a dresser with mirror set we ended up receiving just the dresser. And this after we tried in vain to get through to someone who we could confirm that we were getting both dresser and mirror. After been given the run around on the phone and with no direct phone line to the actual store (???) we ended up at the store we purchased it at. I had just gotten off work and was already tired and while we initially received what we deemed competent help from another rep this rep was also found to be lying to us about another matter dealing with the mirror we were now forced to negotiate a deal instead of Ashley just making it right. Very poor customer service, horrible, horrible service that has left us vowing never to return.

She was courteous informational but not pushy or hovering, which a lot of furniture stores do.I found what I was looking for at a great discount And so excited to get my furniture and best of all I don’t have to wait weeks to get it, i got to pick my delivery date and it’s just a few days till I get them. I’d definitely recommend Ashley Furniture.

Did a little wheeling and dealing and there was some flexability with pricing.. especially with floor models. Will be my first choice the next time for any furniture purchase.
I went to the store on Jan 10th to buy my new bedroom set. The sales man was really nice and helpful but I am giving 1 star to this store due to the whole delivery process and the state of the furniture that I received. I waited for my furniture a month to get delivered and received a damaged 2 drawer night stand (one leg was all smashed) and a scratched 5 drawers chest and dresser. I refused the 2 drawer night stand and they got me a new one with scratches. I scheduled a technician to check and fix all the scratches on my furniture and it took 2 weeks to get one who said he couldn't fix the scratches and ordered new drawers for us, we received a new drawer for our 5 drawers chest on March 12th which my husband was going to replace but found out that the base of that furniture was all broken. I went to the store because the calling center advised that and talked to Nathan (the store manager) about my furniture and he said he was going to file a case for us to get my 5 drawer chest replaced and send me a new technician to check the small scratches on the dresser; however he hasn't done anything and of course he is not answering my texts or even acknowledging them, he is not answering my calls and his voicemail is also full. Today, March 15th, I called the calling center to file the new case myself for my 5 drawers chest and found out that the replacements of my other scratched furniture will arrive April ending. This is very frustrating and I am very disappointed that the calling center cannot do anything to give priority to my replacement parts either Nathan, the store manager of the store, who said no ones gets priority on delivery, not even the CEO and that they don't accept exchanges or returns, so I am stuck with this frustrating purchase. I also bought a king size bed frame that Jan 10th but since it has not been delivered yet, I am canceling the purchase and getting my money back, I don't want to deal with Ashley Furniture again if something goes wrong with the bed frame.
Ashley's Furniture has great prices and a good selection. Our sales person, Bruce was very helpful. The only negative is there is a no returns policy.

What a bummer and a waste of time. I went to the HB store looking for a dinner table with a bench for my wife's Birthday present. I Was helped right away by a sales associate finding a table that had 4 chairs and a nice bench seat. I was givin a form to fill out that asked for my personal information and my home address which I filled out and gave back to the person who was helping me. The first computer we were at I was told crashed so we moved to a different one that dis not work. We then moved to try he third computer and he started to type I guess my info into the computer when I noticed he had the wrong address in a different city. I told him no I don't live there and was assured he was going to change it so theh delivery was to the right address. He then printed out a receipt and crossed out the wrong city and put mine. In the time all this was going on he kept telling me oops the days keep getting pushed back for the del. They told me a day and time they would come and on the day they were coming guess what they went to the wrong address. Then I get a call saying I would have to call and reschedule for a new day because it was 20 min out of the way for the driver. 1st this was not my fault it was tree he sales man's fault 2nd they expected me to reschedule I didn't mess up the order they did.3rd after telling the chat bot I want to cancel my order and leaving a message they decide to take all the money for the item out of my account. 4th after calling myself for the third time I finally get transferred to a lady who was not all that professional telling me she will ln leave a note to take care of the money tomorrow when she gets back in to the store.then telling me it will take some days to get the refund. Why did they take money from me and I never signed anything for the del of items? I don't think I was treated fairly and what they did seems wrong why do you take my money for items I never was givin.all in all this was a horrible experience and I don't wish this to happen to anyone.

Managerial staff, you know who this employee is.
This past weekend, both my wife and I were looking for new living room furniture. A new couch and loveseat. We met with a young lady, Destani, I don’t believe we could have been helped any better. She was so patient as we were trying out different seats and configurations. We were there for awhile and in fact, we were there past the closing hour. Nate, the manager, was incredibly helpful. He made sure we felt like we were part of a family. The entire staff with whom we interacted were incredibly professional, as well as fun. They were professional without being overly serious. In these incredibly trying times, it’s great to be professional, however it’s also very important to be friendly, happy and have some fun. That was definitely Destani and Nate. Also, furniture wise, there is an incredible selection of furniture at reasonable prices. Plus this weekend was 50% off of everything. I believe that lasts until today (2-8-2021).
We bought our bed set in early November. We were told to expect a few extra weeks for delivery. Our delivery date was scheduled for December 28th. A few weeks before the expected delivery I called to confirm delivery. They told me that our delivery is delayed because they don't have our headboard. Our new delivery date was January 19th. A few days before the 19th we got an email saying our delivery is being delayed again. I called customer service and they said it will now be delivered on January 27th. Last weekend we get another email saying it's once again delayed to match 6th. I called Customer service and this time they say they don't have our dresser and it will be delayed until mid March. The service rep said there wasn't anything they could do. I was placed on hold for 40 minutes and then figured out that they were closed on left me in hold. just didn't make sense because they previously had our dresser. The whole thing has been super frustrating and we are currently sleeping on our new mattress on the floor.

I hate leaving poor reviews but this has been a horrible experience. We bought a bed in November to be delivered a month later. On the delivery date, we called to see what time it would be delivered only to find out that it was going to be delayed another 2-1/2 months. They said the store manager should have called us. No kidding! It gets better, we have called the store 6 times since and he is always in a meeting. I have left a message for "Antwan" several times in a month and the call has not been returned. Go to Jerome's in Fountain Valley. Better selection and much better service. I can't stress that enough! Go to Jeromes!

NEVER AGAIN, BEWARE! Bedroom set shows up and workers (3rd party contractor for Ashley) rush, put it together and leave without saying a word just drive away. The head board is clearly used with scrapes and chipped wood. Call store manager who says our "tech" will arrive in 2 weeks. Tech confirms that head board is used and to request a new one. NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT LONGER AND HAVE MORE PEOPLE IN OUR HOUSE DURING A COVID CRISIS. SHAME ON YOU ASHLEY TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE.
GO SHOP AT ASHLEY’S WITH ZAC !!! So... I never visit these types of furniture stores because of the unusually high level Of pressure sales, over priced mediocre furniture and generally they don’t have items that fit my style. However, I find my self in a pinch with no furniture for me and my kids after a recent move and something had to happen quickly. So I find my self at Ashley’s , greeted at the door by Zach who told me he would be available and then he let me get to it on my own. Only checking I with me every 10 mins or so .. by the time I needed him I was set to drop a more than a few grand on some furniture . No pressure, no upwelling, no issues... there was a Labor Day sale on and zack was solely interested in helping me find something I needed and something I liked . After a quick survey of my style Zach went to work showing me items he thought I would like. And to his credit he guided me correctly. And I bought almost everything he had suggested which were each better choices that my original finds. Although Zach and I spent about 4 hours together the results were spot on. What Zach did was not only help me furnish my place but he also bought my loyalty with professionalism and simply a casual approach that fit well with his customer. He also made sure I was getting the best deal possible which was reflected later when the manager (Nathan — also a good guy) came over to finalize the deal . All is all a great experience and some great furniture .. I’ll add pictures later while bit gets delivered . (Delivery is close... blame the zombie apocalypse .. not the store.) thanks guys I’ll see you again for the next lot of furniture o need. Maybe I’ll get that mattress. Maybe . UPDATE: dec 2020 - the post sale issues and customer service will lead to me never buying from Ashley again. Three of my pieces were delivered in a state that needed to be fixed. Despite three requests made for a tech visit , I have never seen one and the pieces remain poorly assembled. One dresser was delivered with large wooden pieces completely broken , but it was sent back and redelivered 45 days later. I can go on but it’s more fo the same poor service post sale. I dropped 12000 dollar at the store . And didn’t receive all of my items for months. And some of them are still In such poor quality I’m pretty disappointed about the purchase. Buyers beware.
We have had a VERY frustrating experience with Ashley furniture. They were quick to take our money and promise us a delivery date. First delivery date was canceled, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th delivery dates were canceled. We were supposed to receive it again today and AGAIN no one called to say it was canceled!! Poorest customer service we’ve ever experienced! I will never purchase again from Ashley and I’m making sure that everyone else I know does not either. Would never want this experience for them!!
Terrible Company!!!! Incompetent Managers!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!! I bought a couch back in October and waited until Dec 7th to be delivered, which is understandable. The delivery process was smooth and was set-up without a hitch. 4 days later a part of my couch started squeaking and creaking, so I called to report the issue in hopes it could be replaced. "Nate" (one of the managers) instructed that I would have to wait for a "technician" to come out to inspect the couch. That is absolutely unacceptable!!!!! I bought a nice dining table from BOB"S DISCOUNT and it also had an issue a couple days later, however when I called to report they offered to replace NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Didn't have to wait for some technician to come out and inspect.
I just want to thank Long for treating us with such kindness and making our shopping at Ashley&'s super enjoyable. Answers any questions in a timely manner. We went it looking for a couch and a rug and he absolutely nailed it suggesting which ones to go with. Made it work with our budget and we are very happy with our experiences thanks to Long!!
Highly recommend shopping here with Bruce! He gave us plenty of space to look around and was very helpful when it came to narrowing down the options. Will be returning for future purchases!
Update: we just found out that our item IS STILL ON BACKORDER. We discovered this literally the evening before the delivery was suppose to take place. In fact, we found this out after receiving several delivery confirmation calls the day before the supposed delivery was to take place. Our item is not scheduled to come in until December 16th now, which is two months after making the purchase, and one month after receiving half the order. So now we have half of a functioning couch, without the chaise and pillow. Seriously? I understand we are in a pandemic but get your business in order and improve your communication Ashley Furniture! Unbelievable and unacceptable. Our attempts to have this issue resolved has been unmet and unsatisfactory. We will not be recommending Ashley Furniture to anyone at this point. Very disappointed.
I spent so much money here buying all new things for my living room. Items from my order were missing. They forgot to deliver lamps that I paid for. They sent a disassembled tv stand that was supposed to be assembled and sent it three weeks late. Then the delivery team wouldn&'t let me open an area rug so that the couches could be placed on top of it. They scratched my wood floors and threw the giant disassembled tv stand in my kitchen, not even where I politely asked them to set it. I&'ve never received such horrible customer service before, please do not waste your money on this place.
Love that we were greeted and taken care of as soon as we stepped in the store. Tommy Tran had the best customer service we have ever experienced. After shopping around for a couple weeks at 4 different furniture stores, Ashley&'s in HB had our hearts! Among the great customer service from Tran to helping us meet our budget for new home owners. Although, we did run into a small hiccup with another sales rep the day before, we are so happy we came back and met Tommy. Would HIGHLY recommend his assistance and service. Thank you again, Tommy! Can&'t wait to come back and buy from you again.
I had a great experience at this location earlier today. The sales associate, Long Tran was super personable and helpful in getting us set up with a new sectional. He made sure that we were well taken care of, and addressed all of our concerns with authenticity. He didn&'t make anything feel forced--as you may feel in some other furniture stores, and he made the whole shopping experience very pleasant, easy, and straightforward. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for new furniture to come in and ask for Long Tran.
If I could give this place no stars I would. The only reason why I did give them ONE star is because of the incredible work Destiny and Nate put in while we were at the store. Their customer service was amazing! They were extremely patient while we went through the process and really tired to get us the best deal on all the items we purchased. It&'s a shame that this company as a whole is so horrible with shipping and customer service. Not only do companies like these affect their customers they also affect their workers. They are doing their sales staff a disservice all the work and time they put in while doing the sale goes out the window because this company does not follow through with what they say they are going to deliver at the time of purchase . Customers like myself leave the store thinking they got a good deal, excited to have new furniture in their home but end up being disappointed due to the lack of communication, commitment and transparency by the company. If for some reason you do end up coming here after reading this review just know the prices they have listed are not at all the best prices they can give. We had to bargain with them to get a fair price which is in part why this process took almost 4 hrs. that&'s ridiculous right ?! The shipping date will be completely off and if you happen to miss your delivery date due to a mix up on their end your furniture that you have been waiting for (3weeks in our case) will be used for other orders and you will have to wait again until their warehouse is stocked. All in all we ended up going to a local furniture store in our area we took our furniture that same day and the whole process took 45mins(picking out furniture, paying, loading up), the way it should be. We are sorry if our cancellation may have caused Destiny or Nate any inconvenience please find a company that values your hard work and looks after YOU! I hope you can understand our point of view as customers and why we could not give Ashley&'s furniture our business.
Went in looking for a new couch. Jon showed me around the store and was Great Help!!! Went home to measure Nd was back in the store within an hour buying it. Jon and Nathan were fabulous help getting it order and setting up a delivery.
Wish I could give 0 stars. We went to the store in beginning of August 2020, order a couch, table and chairs. We knew with covid that things would take longer to get our order filled. We were not moving until October, had a delivery date of October 2nd and chairs were back ordered. We were then called and said they were in stock and would be delivered a couple of weeks later, that came and another call saying they would be ready in Beginning of November. Delayed a third time to November 23rd and get a call today now pushed to middle December. When we order was told this would not be an issue as we order early. Bunch of BS, all they did was try and give 100 card for a future purchase. Close to 160 days to get a couple of chairs?? Don&'t sell stuff if you can&'t deliver. Will love on to another company.
We were graceful to the amazing manager name Nathan who is help us to get great pricing for our new furniture. Jon and Maja were doing great and approaching us to lead the right furniture and they were offer us the great deal about financing and discount. We are happy to have our new furniture on way to our home.
Went in looking for a new couch. Worked with Jon. He showed us around the store and was Great help! Found one I liked. Went home and measured, went back an hour later and bought it. Jon and Nathan both were very nice, polite and worked with me on getting it ordered and delivered.
Where do I start...this place has been nothing but a headache!!! Spent 4 hours in there piecing together a 14pc furniture set. Destiny and Nate were super nice and we felt like we got an awesome deal. Nothing to complain about there. 3 weeks go by and we have a scheduled delivery date...I get an email to confirm my deliver and I do as they ask. I even gave them 2 phone numbers to contact so the delivery isn&'t missed. Guess what? We missed it neither one of the 2 phones ever rang! All we got was a tag on the door that says to call back to reschedule delivery. We missed it by about 15 min! We call and they say they can&'t turn around blah blah blah it&'s out of the way now and we have to wait 11 days. Mind you it&'s been 3 weeks already and we weren&'t even getting all the items. Maybe 5 of the 20 items we ordered. The rest were on back order for another 2 months. So now that we missed it and they can&'t come back for 11 days they&'re using our furniture to fulfill other orders!!! And we&'ll have to wait another month and half because the items that were originally mine are out of stock! At this point I&'m pretty livid and come to find out they wrote down the wrong phone number for the contact info. Didn&'t even bother to use the second one. I called the shipping center, the store and no one seemed to care about it. In the end I just ended up canceling my order and buying at a small business and taking my stuff home the same day!!!!! Eff this place!
I'm so pleased with my experience tonight at Ashley Homestore. Jon and Nate were both awesome! They went above and beyond to help me get just the couch I was looking for. Now I can't wait for my couch to be delivered!

We understand the delay due to the Covid pandemic, however, we were told we would be receiving the entire sofa and not just half of the sofa without the chaise. We are also missing the sofa pillow that came with the purchase. So currently we have half of a sofa in our living room, with the chaise not scheduled to arrive until after Thanksgiving. We are really disappointed in Ashley Furniture, especially with the lack of communication. If we knew we were not receiving our sofa until after the Holidays, we would have purchased another sofa, likely elsewhere. Customer Service has been nearly impossible to communicate with to resolve this issue.
Worst customer service! They said they would price match and when we showed them a better price at a competitor retailer, they said to go buy at the other store instead because they won't be honoring any price match. Waste of time.

Omg does it take that long to wait for a bed ! 3 months so I want to cancel my order ! Waited 1 hours finally got someone on the line from customer care ! Say said she cant process the refund only store can ! So she can put in a case for someone to follow up sound iffy ! I called the store later ! ( but keep in mind i did called the store from beginning but waited too long they route you to cust care ) Got rep on the line her name is Michelle ! She told me oh need 72 hours before someone to call me back to " verify" my card number which is full of Bs ! No one did ! 4 days gone by ! Nothing call store said oh someone will push on processing the refund and someone will call me back ( today is 10/31)! This is after 8 days waiting ! Do not shop At Ashley they are the worst and have been a nightmare . I understand due to covid it&'s taking longer but the service has been horrible . Went to Ashley said it was going to deliver everything October 29th then get a phone call and said only the dresser is on back stock. Also was supposed to get bar stools and said they had the wrong phone number and never showed up . Delivery said it was supposed to come 2 to 6pm and didn&'t come till 815pm. The movers didn&'t have the chest they said but when we went to the store they said they had it in the truck the whole time . They are unprofessional and the worst never shopping here ever again

They have some nice furniture and it's mostly affordable, but I hate the stalking done by the sales people. It has turned me away on multiple occasions. Every time you look over your shoulder they are there. If you dare make eye contact, they come rushing in to answer the question you didn't know you had...
If I could give negative stars I would, Ashley couldn't much worse, Shoping was pleasant easy finding. We purchased a bedroom set 6 piece set 6 more places for living room, The sales woman said a couple pieces were out of stock it would take 10 days to get them, delivery service is bad its their availability for shipping not yours, well a week later4 pieces showed up that said two more weeks well that didn't happen customer service phone contact says they will call you back within 24 to 48 hours I called 3 different times without ever getting a call back, I finally went to Ashley store got a sarcastic customer service guy giving me excuse after excuse that sounded like he had a list of excuses to choose from well got tired of him then spoke with manager nothing ever came from my visit no update on the rest of our purchase well its been 3 months and we are still waiting on a couple pieces. Unbelievable Delivery Bad Don't believe the sales person if they say things are in stock. On your contract write a stipulation on your purchase if not delivered by certain date void purchase and all delivery pick up and delivery will be covered by Ashley. Also ask what type of delivery are your getting? Curbside or in place and furniture put together completely. By the way our bill came before our furniture arrived. Covid I understand but the truth is if they new that they didn't haven furniture in stock we could have made a different choice on what we were going to purchase. -10 Stars

Came in to update our furniture (living room & bedroom) and Destiny was incredible. Her willingness and expertise was super helpful. Made the experience much easier and actually fun. She went above and beyond to help us out. Nate, the store manager blew it out of the park! Destiny was absolutely amazing!! Ask for her if you want someone to help you get the best prices. She ran around with us and answered all of our questions about the different types of mattresses. Her customer service is excellent (she deserves a raise!!!) I will definitely recommend friends to come buy their furniture at this Ashley's. Tuesday comes, no call, no show. So I call to see the ETA? Sorry your not schedule until the 30th, today was the 20th I purchased on 14th. Horrible experience when I call the customer service they said oh well, her name is Michelle. Bruce was my sales rep who promised and lied to get a sale. I went to Living Spaces across the street and they delivered same day.
ARGHHH!!! Absolutely FRUSTRATING!!! Went to the store itself, was told by Julia Seffrood that it would be delivered by the 5th of Oct. No contact or follow up. Reached out the 6th, they said "It's delayed." Ridiculous!!! How is it that you order something and it gets delayed?! Not enough inventory?? Horrible!! So now we're being told by Kristina (delivery support) to wait until Nov. 5th -- 1 month after they promised. Customers BEWARE!! They don't hold true to promises. Very unprofessional!! Don't promise things you can't keep, Ashley!!! You have our $$ and our furniture is still pending!! Will NEVER AGAIN trust your word. You lost another customer. Keep doing that, and people won't trust a thing you say.

This is the continuation to My post earlier in September,So again as of today October 20 we still don't have the furniture's, it's been over four months they do not answer our calls they constantly Lying to us people I understand it's a pandemic and there's some issues but at least I should be honest and tell you the true not to tell you all within four weeks your furniture will be delivered, good luck whoever is going to buy furniture from the store

I bought few items on the 4th of Sept. I was told at the store that i will receive my items within 2 weeks. No news and updates from ashley. I went back to the store and they told me one of the items is not available and i will receive the rest a week or 10 days from 25th Sept. same story, no delivery. I got on my online account and chat with the costumers service. I was told my delivery is scheduled for the 10 of Oct. guess what... no delivery or even a text or email. this time I called the customer service and was told that UPS will deliver my order by 16 of Oct. I am very disappointed and there is no place to complain. they won't deliver sooner than 2 months and they leave you blind with no notification or information. sounds you buy something, you pay for it on time at the store and then you need to keep chasing them...
Just wanted to say that Michelle at customer service was an absolute doll! Our order delivery was changed without us knowing and my partner and I were so upset. Thank god for Michelle she was the angel who helped us get it back on track! THANK YOU!!
Purchased a Tempurpedic mattress and adjustable bed frame from a nice salesman. Items went on sale less than a week later. Called the store, but they do not honor lower prices. Salesman said 90 day guarantee, if you don't like the mattress, you can return It or exchange it. Been trying for 4 weeks to get customer care or store to pick up the bed they won't even call me back. Now the store says there's no such policy on any mattresses they carry.

He even made sure our delivery went well. Ashley Furniture has great quality furniture and has great deals and sales. The showroom is huge and beautifully arranged. Good products...very nice employees at Laguna Hills store, however, very rude and unhelpful sales people at Huntington beach, ca one.....I have walked out of that store twice because the sales people were so rude and unhelpful!!!

My wife and I went to this store for the first time ever in search of a new living room set. The sales lady was nice and patient put our order in last month Mid August and waited patiently for our order that was supposed to be delivered Sept 26. Well Sept 26 came and we didn't receive any notifications from anyone about our order. So we called customer service and they said half of our order would be delivered October 16!! We asked why anybody didn't notify us and the representative was unable to answer that so we went in to the store and the store manager was unavailable nowhere to be found and then one of the sales representative looked into our account and told us that half of our order wouldn't be shipped to November!!! I work in healthcare and completely understand that due to Covid everything got pushed back and so many things have changed, but when was anybody going to notify about these changes. The lack of communication is what ruined this experience for us.
This is unbelievable how they run their business. Today would be the FOURTH time they have scheduled to deliver my furniture and guess what NO ONE SHOWED UP! The delivery called and said they&'d be here in ten minutes and then called back right away because they said they didn&'t even have my furniture on the truck!!!!!! So yet again to no surprise I rearranged my ENTIRE DAY to have no one show up!!!!! I called Ashley HomeStore and make sure you press 2 to purchase NEW furniture or NOONE will answer, left my name and number and no one has called me back. I made sure to take a picture before they deleted my tracking date since I&'m used to their negligence.

I had never been into an Ashley store, and then it happened, I immediately fell in love with this show room. It could have been overwhelming and out of my league, however the team made me feel like I was in control the entire time. I do want to recognize 3 different team members who made a difference in my day yesterday: When I walked into the room I was greeted by a gentleman named Tommy, I let him know I had been working with Julie and he immediately got her for me and was pleasant at my arrival (makes a huge difference on greeting someone) I had worked with Julie 2 days prior and she showed me a dream bed.... (future purchase) and showed me above and beyond what I came in for in the beginning. This time I brought my husband, who I should have left at home, however we made a decision to up our purchases and also get a new desk. (Covid reality) Julie was patient and kind through the entire experience, and really helped us finalize a decision. The third person was Nate (I hope that’s right) he was the manager in charge; he came over to greet us and make our day by explaining purchasing plan in detail (no brainer) and was once again kind in his demeanor, and even expressed how much he loves what he does for a living. I do not know who the general manager is at this location, however we all say EVERYTHING ROLLS DOWN HILL... and I want to say BRAVO, as you are leading your team with autonomy and giving them the power to create excitement for the customer. You have empowered your people to do THE RIGHT THING and it shows on the love for their work and the respect they have for one another. In the current world of crazy, thank you for leading and showing the way. It’s obvious your team respects you and your leadership. WAY TO GO Ashley Furniture for hiring this team of experts! I will not shop anywhere else moving forward. My only feedback— get a bar and TV for the husbands — so we can shop and get things done. 🤣😂
Please note, this rating is not about my store experience or the guys that delivered furniture today. In fact, I really like the part of my order I received. This is about the delivery system/dispatching and customer service. If I could write a YELP review specifically on the that, and not ding the store itself, I would have. I understand, due to COVID-19, there might be a delay. For two days, I have received messages that the delivery was going to take place. Yet, was never told I would only receive part of my delivery. And that&'s the reason for the 1 star. So when the delivery guys showed up with a partial order, they had me talk to someone, I assume in dispatch or customer service, who stated, &"Sorry, you should have gotten a call from somebody. You&'ll get your delivery some time in October&". That may not seem that far away, but I purchased my order on Aug 10 and I had my old sofa removed the day before the delivery. I just tried to call Customer Service to set up the second delivery and was put on hold long enough, an automated voice came on stating if I continued to stay on the line for a total of 15 minutes, I&'d be told to use the messaging feature on the store webstore. So, I hung up and used the message feature. Don&'t waste your time typing in your info up front. They are just going to ask for it again and I think the entire conversation was automated. The final response I got was I would get a call from the warehouse in 24 hours. I requested an email and was told no, only a call. But, I won&'t be an able to take calls over the next 24 hours. So, I wonder if that will extend the data of my delivery. Definitely frustrated. Hope this review helps you with your decision to purchase from Ashley Furniture or go elsewhere. As of right now, I will make every attempt to purchase from another company before I make a purchase from them again.
Ashleys Huntington has a pathetic customer service. No courtesy, effort or cushion to entertain customer's request and hide behind pandemic when it comes to severely delayed delivery. Very disappointing and "We Dont Need You" attitude.
I love my furniture and I love the deal I got for it but I didn’t love that I had to pay the guys $40 to get it over a little wall due to it not fitting through my hallway and also I have never received my throw blanket???? It’s been over two months since my furniture was delivered and I still have never received the throw blanket in the mail that they did not have ready to deliver for me that day so still waiting!
Buyers beware at this store, I will not recommend you buy anything from here, we purchased a bedroom set for my 13-year-old daughter, and we paid $1100 cash and they told us they would deliver between 4 to 6 weeks guess what just yesterday 9/15/20 they delivered only one thing and they claimed the rest they don't know where is it at and they have no idea when they will be able to deliver it to us, how is this fair when we paid them up front and we still don't have merchandise from them, they haven't return our calls or any Manager called us back so please when you go to the store buy at your own risk good luck
Terrible service!!! I was given a DISPLAY BED FRAM even though they say it wasn’t but how could it not be when the bed side rails where glued and sprayed on like they where hiding scratches and also it was braking apart I had to take it to store to show the manager and she had told me that I was going to get a new one and of course since I pay ALL at front I didn’t they had to come to spray all the scratches and they only send me the side rails😡 also I made the mistake of ordering the wrong bed size and I waited 2 weeks to hear from them I left numerous messages and no answer so again I had to go in to just to tell me NO when everything was not used because I was waiting on a answer to see if they could change the bed size. But I know since I pay ALL AT FRONT they didn’t work with me and I was even more upset to see get a display bed frame m when I paid for a NEW ONE. I still don’t get it how there own delivery guys will set up a used bed frame and the reason why I notice later on is like I said when after TWO WEEKS I was putting the bed sheets that’s when I saw the problem on the messed up side rails. Over all terrible delivery personnel and also TERRIBLE STORE MANAGER AT THE HUNTINGTON BEACH LOCATION.

Penny did a great job at helping me pick the perfect mattress , she is very knowledgeable about the products and didn&'t make me feel awkward about sales or anything . We'd been to a few other furniture shops prior to our visit; however, what really sold us was not the price, or quality of furniture; but actually, the customer service. Our customer service rep literally spent hours with us throughout the entire process demonstrating exceptional knowledge of product and was very, very patient as we mixed and matched options. That person was, Willi. We had actually visited the store on two separate occasions and while we didn't purchase the first time around, he was extremely gracious and patient as our second visit took him well past close of business. Needless to say, we committed to a sizable purchase and I can honestly say that we didn't feel the need to look any further because of this one individual. If you want a great product at a great deal with truly exceptional customer service, look no further than this location. Thanks, Willi!!!
At first we thought we were getting a good deal. Bought a bed frame at 40% off during an ongoing promotion and bought a chair on clearance. Although the salesperson was making everything sound like we were getting a good deal, we were being lied to with clever wording. When I checked their website later the bed frame was listed almost $450 lower price. I was told delivery and insurance would be included for an additional $50. When delivered and assembled, they didn't even push it back against the wall how I asked. Do not shop at this Ashley Homestore. You have to argue to get items price-matched. When you do catch them observing dishonest/un-kosher business practices, they say whatever you want to make you happy and get you out the door. Only after multiple attempts contacting the store over the phone and in person, I contacted my bank to take care of it. Do not trust this store. Make sure everything on your receipt is itemized at the cost they say before you purchase. Just go to Living Spaces or Ikea. At least people are honest there.

Updated 9/10/2020 DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR FURNITURE HERE. GO ELSEWHERE. I am updating this review after several attempts to speak with management regarding several on going issues with a couch we purchased. I have never had such an awful experience with any purchase, let alone one this expensive. June 13th I called customer service after receiving the delivery window. I was informed we were misinformed in store likely so the sales rep would make the commission. I was informed I keep the delivery date or reschedule it for a week and a half later. This was not option as the delivery included our mattresses as well. June 14th Pull-out portion of couch arrived at 9am prior to us being able to move it in July 17th Both myself as well as my significant other received texts to confirm the second half of the couch delivery for 7/20/2020. July 20th Both myself as well as my significant other received texts the couch was out for delivery in the morning. We were able to track the couch up until 10am in the morning, the updates were removed at that point. The couch was never delivered. We tried reaching out to customer service several times as well as the customer service chat. We never heard back from anyone in the chat. After 5pm we were able to speak with a customer service agent. She informed us we did not have a delivery scheduled. We let her know we had confirmed and received texts. She said there was nothing in the system. We asked to speak with a supervisor. She said he was gone for the day and would call us back the following day. We never heard back. We called the Huntington Beach store after hanging up with customer service. We asked to speak with a manager regarding the issue. We were told he would call us back in 15-20 minutes. We never received a call back. July 21st I called back the Huntington Beach store to follow up on my call the previous night. I spoke with a very nice lady. I explained the situation with the delivery. She said she would credit the delivery fee of $100 to our Synchrony balance (the remaining amount we had financed). July 30th I called customer service to discuss an issue with the half of the couch we had. Due to the other half not being in the place the cushions were slumping and becoming lumpy as they bottom cushions were sliding around. I was informed the issue with the delivery was our fault as we had provided them the wrong phone number. This is incorrect as both phone numbers on file had not changed and we had gotten texts throughout the day of delivery. The person I spoke with acknowledged she saw a credit for the delivery fee. August 11th The second half of the couch was delivered. August 13th We were notified that the credit was not processed and the balance had not been adjusted for the financing as we were informed. I spent an hour on the phone with them explaining the issue. I had to escalate the complaint to a manger as initially I was informed I would need to continue paying off the disputed $100 balance in question. I called the Huntington Beach Ashley Home Store following my conversation with Synchrony. I was transferred to the wrong manager at first, this manager hung up on me. I called back and was transferred to the sales manager Nathan. He said he was not aware of the situation and would have to circle back with the two female employees he had to determine who spoke with me on July 21st. I asked him when I could expect a follow up or answer. At this point he told me “I don’t have time to call customers back” regarding issues or complaints. He lacked professionalism as well as customer service throughout the entire conversation. I called Ashley Home Store’s corporate location. I explained to the receptionist that I would like to speak with whomever would be appropriate to file a complaint against the store. I was rerouted back to the customer service line. She said I could expect a call back in 24-48 hours. I have yet to receive a call back.

It was one of the best experiences I’ve had at Ashley since the last time I bought furniture about two years ago. I came in due to a problem with the handles on one of the dressers I bought. Management was super professional and could tell they cared. They opened up a case for me with the company. I ended up coming out of there with a dining table, I’ll be back again. The minute you walk into the store you feel the unity there’s is with management and employees! I believe it all starts from the top, in order to run a successful business management has to really care for the employees and therefore it shows with customers! Thank you to everyone I came in contact with! Maritza the customer representative was extremely helpful and very passionate about helping me, she listened With intention. Penny who helped me out with the dining table was vey kind and I could tell she cared and is interested about her customers and helping make the experience be the best for the customer! Thank you!!!
Before you decide to buy the furniture here be cautious. We paid over $3000 for our furniture here. We were promise to be deliver in 1month afther a month goes by they said another month. We decided to cancel took 2wks for them reimburse our money. I had to call every 2 days and no nobody cares. They are sweet when u buy their furniture. Just beecareful when u pay ur furniture in full. I bought all my furniture at living spaces and was deliver in 1 wk. It costly little more but better experience. Beware!!!

I went into this location today because of my delivery and to speak to the manager. However when i got there i was helped by Tina. She eased my mind and helped me furnish almost everything in my new apartment. This location knows how to treat there customers! I will forever shop here!!

The worst furniture shopping experience I've had with your corporate offices. It's unfortunate because the in store sales rep was nice - corporate can't get it together. I literally got a voicemail from one of your reps saying that my couch would be delivered August 12 only to find out that my couch would not be delivered till September. That's after being delayed in the original delivery of August 4 and ordering the couch back in June. I can't believe you would have associates calling to tell your customers (and leaving it in a voicemail ) that something would be delivered only to find out the couch hadn't even been made yet. Horrible horrible service. I understand some businesses have been closed due to the pandemic- but don't promise things to customers only to leave them in the dark and be told different things depending on who answered the phone. I don't recommend anyone shop here, unless you want to wait 3 to 4 months for your order.
They don't even deserve 1 star. My 3 piece sectional has been delayed 3 times as of right now I still have not received it. EVERYTIME it's been delayed I had to call to find out what's going on. They clearly don't care, as long as they sell something that's all they care about. When you finally get in contact with the store not customer support they just pass the phone around and you get no where. One of them even began laughing at my frustration. It's safe to say I'm never purchasing at Ashley's. I've had friends and relatives purchase from other big furniture stores after me and they have all got their items on time maybe a 1-2 day delay (my order was delayed 2 days at first then 2 weeks and now 2 weeks again) To be honest at this point I wouldn't be shocked if it got delayed a 4th time.
Neiaha was wonderful as a salesperson. She let us have our space and wasn't pushy. The manager worked with us on pricing. The store had a lot of variety and items to choose from
My boyfriend and I went shopping for Bedroom Furniture and a TV Stand, now the initial process to buy the furniture went fine. However, our delivery was set for a full month ahead, which okay, we understand it is pandemic. Our furniture was set to be delivered on 8/7, which I expected a call on 8/6 or earlier to set up a time. I received no call, I had to call in and get the automated system to tell me the time which was 8:45 am - 12:45 pm. I tried to call in to have a new time set up, due to my boyfriend sleeps during the day because he works late at night. After a 15 minute hold, the representative told me they can't change the time. Fine. So, on 8/7, I woke up early, so I could try and clean up the room and remove the furniture before them arriving. I got out of the shower at 7:00 am and my boyfriend tells me that he just go a call that they are here and will be at the door in 10 mins. They showed up an hour and 45 minutes early!!!!!!! We had no time to prep, let alone even get up and get dressed. That was the first thing that went wrong. Secondly, we were told part of our order was on backorder so they couldn't set up our bedframe. So they just left these huge boxes in the middle of my bedroom, which I had to move otherwise they were major trip hazards. They made no offer to move them out of the way for me Then they tell me on my TV Stand don't pull it by the top because it is too heavy and will break. So after they leave, I start pushing the TV Stand back against the wall and I tested the top to see if it was secure and one side was completely broken. I was so upset, so I called the Customer Service and they are sending out a technician to get that fixed. Then I go to bed, and I completely sink into the mattress. This is not the mattress we picked out. I specifically told the associate named Edgar G. that I didn't want a Hybrid or Memory Foam mattress as I like a firm and to give us a Pillowtop Spring mattress. Yet the one he sold us was specifically a Hybrid mattress that was described as "Plush" which is specifically what I told him I didn't want. So, I go back to the store today to tell him this is not the mattress I ordered and see if we can get the right one. He tells me repeatedly that this is the mattress we picked out and I am telling him that it is not. This is exactly what I said I didn't want and he refused to accommodate or take responsibility for the mistake on the order. I understand mattresses are not returnable, but this was not our mistake, the order was put in incorrectly. He then kept telling my it was not a hybrid, I looked over the description online and it specifically says "Hybrid" in the description and he kept telling me it isn't a hybrid. I now have to find a firm mattress topper so I can actually sleep on my mattress. This is just absolutely ridiculous! There should of been better communication and understanding of the customer's needs and what they asked for. NEVER shop at Ashley. They think they are all "bouji" and not customer oriented. They focus on the bottom line and that means "screw the customer out of as much money as possible".
I had a wonderful experience at Ashley HomeStore. I went shopping with my daughter for a new bedroom set for her. The first sales person that approached us was a little pushy, but when I was ready to make a purchase I found Long Tran. Long was an exceptional salesman. He was not pushy or aggressive. Long had a great deal of experience and knowledge in the furniture field. My daughter loves her new bedroom set! Thank you Long Tran for a fabulous shopping experience! I highly recommend you ask for Long when you go into the store. We will be back!
Michell was amazing. The store is backed up on orders. Though the customer service at this location is phenomenal. We had purchased a couch and it didn’t fit in our hallway so we had to return and find a different one. We went back to search of a sectional and found one we loved. Michell went out of her way to help us with the process and went above and beyond. She is very knowledgeable and kind. Even though this location is not the nearest to us we will be returning just for the customer service and for the sales team which is amazing as well.
I am so disappointed in my latest purchase. I used to really love Ashley Furniture, but after spending over $1000, and waiting for my delivery to arrive, it arrived completely ruined. I called Customer Service and they made it sound like it was my fault and asked if I signed for the delivery. I didn't open up the box and inspect all the parts before signing for it because I had faith in Ashley, but this is so unacceptable and really disheartening. Customers need to make the driver open up the box and inspect all items prior to signing. Buyer Beware because Ashley tries to shift responsibility....they promised a call back and they never did
I used to give Ashley 5 stars but ever since Covid I have been waiting 3 months for a tv stand that I ordered in may. The frustrating part is that they have given me multiple calls to schedule a day, I make sure that day is open, and then they call me to say it's on back order. This has happened multiple times. They also keep calling me to confirm my address even though I spent 20 minutes on hold with HQ to confirm my address. If you would like your order to get in on time, do NOT order from Ashley's right now. I could have gone to some other store or bought used furniture so I can have a proper tv stand and instead of cancelling my order they keep telling me it's coming so I just figure why not wait...but now I'm the idiot who has been waiting for three months. I get times are hard but 3 months?! I literally purchased from them the day that they were able to open up their stores and I still don't have my tv stand! Kinda just seems like they're keeping my money because they're about to go under. I'm asking for my money back once I find a used tv stand somewhere else. Poor customer service callers are probably just constantly calling and getting yelled at by customers cus all they're just a broken record saying "it's on back order again, it's on back order again"
first time ever purchasing and I'm already not happy. purchased a power recliner on around june 20th and was told that due to pandemic, I will receive the chair by the 21st. understandable and reasonable so I place the order. fast forward june 19th. received a vm from their customer service and was told delivery is delayed. will show up at the warehouse on 7/19 and scheduled for delivery on 7/24 and call back if I have any questions. did not ask for any confirmation call back. annoying but amidst these times, also understandable. no questions so I accept and leave it alone. now fast forward to today 7/24. I'm on the phone with customer service to get a estimated time of delivery and they're telling me it's being delayed again until 7/31 or 8/1 because I didnt call back with voice confirmation. remember that voicemail from earlier? only told me to call back if I had any questions. did not communicate in any way that a voice confirmation was needed (I still have vm saved). I'm now extremely annoyed because the delay could have easily been avoided had the one who called communicated everything properly or if I had received another voicemail explaining the situation. I have left a review on yelp and will not edit it until a supervisor calls me with an acceptable resolve as this is due to their lack of professional communication.
All I wanted was to get my dad a power recliner for fathers day but as of July 24th it's still not here and we ordered this a week before fathers day. Like c'mon man...my dad's been waiting for this chair for more than a month...what the hell is going on there? First delay - Understandable, 2nd? Uhh...okay...third???? What the hell are you guys doing? Ship the damn chair already! It's one power recliner! Do you grow the damn tree when the order is placed? If anyone's planning on getting furniture here do yourself a favor. There's a Living spaces and bobs discount furniture nearby. Go there.
My first purchase from Ashley's home furniture has not gone well and has left a bad taste in my mouth from buying ever again from here or even refer any friends. Ordered a power recliner back in late June. Was told due to COVID we would not see the item until the 21st. Understandable, went and placed the order. 7/19 comes around and I receive a voicemail that it wont be here until the 24th and to call back when any questions. Didnt ask for confirmation call back. I'm ok with it arriving on 24th and had no questions so I did not call back. Fast forward to now 7/24 and i call to check estimated time for delivery. They are now telling me it wont get here until 7/31 or 8/1. Reason for delay because I did not call back with voice confirmation. Remember that voicemail I got? Not once did the associate ever request for me to call back with confirmation. Vm is still saved on my phone. We are now looking at almost a 2 week delay because your associate did not communicate that a return call was needed. This rating will remain 1 star (wish it could be 0 stars) until a supervisor contacts me and we get this resolved. Update: 8/5/20Chair arrived on the first but no manager has called me to even offer any explanation, apologies, or even an offer to make things right. this review will stay up and I will continue to tell people to buy elsewhere. Don't bother with this company. Their left hand has no clue what the right is doing and their company will continue to treat their customers like crap. It's a shame I didn't read the reviews here before pulling the trigger. I would have definitely taken my business elsewhere.
Covid 19 is no reason for poor customer service.. Over a month ago, I purchased a couch and was told my delivery date was July 20th. We got rid of our other couches just before expecting the new couches to be delivered. On the 17th, I called and left a message for delivery to let me know they'd indeed be there on the 20th as we were coming home from vacation that morning.. The message said they'd get back to me within 48 hours which never happened.. On Monday, the 20th, we came home in time for our delivery and nobody showed up, called, etc. I spent over two hours on hold trying to reach a human and finally reached a rude warehouse person who said the couch was on back order and was scheduled for delivery mid August now.. lol. With not even so much as a courtesy call to let me know this.. Now, I've been trying to get a refund and am dealing with people pushing me off saying they can't do anything about it and I'm about to walk into the store and throw a fit. Absolutely terrible service.. Not sure why we chose to buy there again anyways.. The last couch we bought broke within a year..
Worst furniture purchasing experiences ever. I bought new furnitures for my new place. The purchase came in partial in the first delivery & the delivery team refused to install my barstools, even I paid for both delivery & installations. In the second delivery, the driver was about to give us just the bed head board, even I paid for a full bed sets. The driver explained that's what normally other customers' order, without I called the warehouse to verify my order, the driver didn't take a look into the delivery list & gave me my full bed sets. When I got the warehouse representative on phone to confirm my order, she wants to charge us extra fees on the delivery & the next time delivery because Ashley is still missing part of my order & will have to comeback for that. Btw, both the warehouse representative & delivery driver refused to install the four (4) barstools on the second delivery. Even when Ashley team called me to confirm on the second delivery appointment & I reminded Ashley team about the furniture installations already, and They have noted that. In the end, I have to install those barstools myself, even I have paid for installations & Ashley store representative refuses to pay me back for my installation fees. I contacted the customer services for this kind of issue, but every time I called they put me on a long hold, transferred me back & forth between their departments, and I never gotten my problem resolved. My guess Ashley knows I cannot continue wasting my time to call them getting my installation fees back. This will be my only & last order from this store.
Worst experience ever bought furniture then found out online was alot cheaper so cancelled the original sales order and applied amount i paid to new sales order which was alot less im still waiting for the balance to be paid back to me from the first sales order almost 2 months later. Ive spent more than 60hrs of my time calling to try and get the balance owed to me. Didnt know i was going to be giving Ashley furniture an interest free loan for more than two months . You guys need to pay me my money.
DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! They lied to me saying the couch I wanted was a month out. We set the delivery date for today, July 20th. Three days ago I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to confirm all was well and it said to leave a message and they'd respond within 24-48 hours. They never responded. I tried to call yesterday and sat on hold a half hour so i hung up. Today I called to ask where the delivery was and after yet another half hour of hold time someone answered to say the couch was on back order for another month. Ya think someone woulda called or emailed since they had all the info they needed to do so. Terrible customer service. Absolute joke. I've bought here before and tried again and got screwed. Nice salesmen, not a lot of pressure. Knew the products well. Showroom was nice. A bit congested. In store pricing was pretty confusing, this percent off, and if you pay on full, and we can match online Ashley pricing, but our delivery is higher, so let’s adjust it down, etc. Way too much time figuring out pricing and entering things into the computer. It was like buying a car. I hope they hit the delivery date.
Do yourself a favor and go to living spaces instead or anywhere else. Do not go to this store. Lies lies lies. I'm still waiting for a "callback" to get my money back on my debit card. It's been 5 days and I can't get ahold of anyone. There's no help here ZERO customer service. I sat there for 2 hours waiting to void my transaction the other day and in that time 4 different people came in to complain about something ranging from the order to the product and service. Just save yourself the trouble and don't shop here. This has been a total nightmare!! Kay Choi the sales guy is extremely pushy and rude if you happen to change your mind about anything he gets annoyed and it's very clear. Asieh, one of the managers has promised me the refund over and over and still nothing. DON'T GO THROUGH WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH OR THE OTHER COUPLES THAT WERE THERE ASKING FOR HELP. YOU WILL GET NOWHERE.
I am not one to make bad reviews but here I go. Absolutely worst customer service I could imagine. I have been given the run around since I placed my order in June. Currently I am working on getting a full return on an in store order that they say they don't have a return policy for. That's outrageous! If I'm going to spend 2300$ on a set of bedroom furniture to have defective pieces be delivered and abruptly told that missing pieces are back ordered, they need to be clear on the customers options. How am I supposed to know that I'm responsible to refuse furniture that I have been expecting for a month. Take your business elsewhere.
Worse than car salesman! We went in to look for a mattress and they were like sharks. We tried to walk out of the store and they followed and continued to try and talk us into a purchase. After 3 times, we finally made the purchase with the guarantee that we could return for a full refund. We did a ton of research on other mattress and realized $6500 for a mattress isn't what we wanted to spend. When we went back, they gave us a hard time about the return. Definitely wouldn't go back to this store.

Shopping with Ashley Furniture has been the worst consumer experience of my entire life. I bought a $3000 couch with a guarantee that the couch would show up on a specific date a month ahead of time. I moved into my new place expecting the couch to be there and it didn't show up. I had to actively go into the store and speak with customer service because it was impossible to get a hold of them via internet or the phone (I was on hold in total for over 7 hours). I was then told that the couch that I was expecting that day was back ordered for a month. No one had reached out to contact me regarding this. I decided to cancel the order and it has been 2 weeks after the fact and no one has reached out to me regarding my refund. I am still out $3000. Not only will i never shop here again, I will ensure that everyone that I know and their great grandchildren do not even walk into an Ashley furniture let a lone buy something from them. You might as well burn your money.
Due to a sales person's mistake, I am stuck with a product I did not intend to purchase. Since that sales person was a "temp," and she is not there to admit her error, I have no choice but to accept the overpriced item. Multiple phone calls. Multiple service requests to no avail.
I purchased the Bolanburg round dining room table in November 2018. BIG MISTAKE Within 3 months the top layer started to come off, luckily I purchased the extended warranty and they replaced the table. Within 4 months of having the 2nd table the same issue, top layer of coating starting to peel and bubble. Again GBS covered the replacement. 3 months into new table and guess what??? You don't say SAME ISSUE this time around I called GBS and they inform me no warranty and they had refunded asHley for my table?!?! After continually trying to reach someone at corporate or the store and getting the same run around lI went to the store to speak to store manager and she said she didn't know why I was having issues with my table and they shouldn't have replaced it so many times and she really could t help me and would have to look into and would call me later.,,,,, Still nothing! They won't replace the table nor will they give me a refund!! This is the most Ridiculous customer service I've ever dealt with. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and would have spent thousands more in the future how they honor their customer service satisfaction and their product guarantee. As of today they still tell me there's nothing they can really do and think I'm crazy for wanting my table replace that has not even lasted 4 months.Not to mention GBS refunded somebody for the table and it wasn't me. So here I am out $1000 with a shitty table no warranty and Ashley got their money back. I will never ever buy any product from Ashley furniture ever again this is been the worst experience ever. Update: after contacting better business bureau we were able to get a replacement! Nathan the store manager seemed sincere in trying to get our business back! He was much more pleasant then the other store manager Not sure that I will support Ashley in the future, I may give them a second chance as I do like their product!

I have decided to cancel my order. I have been extremely disappointed by Ashley's customer service. I was told by a sales associate that it is wise to place 2 different orders when it comes to my mattress and other bedding. My bedding was not supposed to arrive until July 9th but my mattress was supposed to arrive on June 20th. That certainly backfired as I failed to receive my queen mattress on the scheduled delivery date (6/20) and now I have been sleeping on a floor the past few days. Instead, I got all my other furniture on June 20th including the bed frame which makes it useless without the mattress and is basically wasted space. Also, I planned to purchase a foundation with the bedding but Ashley's website incorrectly directed me to Twin foundations that worked well with Queen foundations. When i spoke with Edgar from the Huntington Beach location, he said he would help me add a queen foundation to my order, but he failed to do so. I have spoken with almost a dozen in-store and customer care representatives and no one has been helpful. In the past 72 hours, I have failed to get an answer on when my mattress will arrive or even where it was. I also want to mention that the delivery men that delivered my bed frame/nightstand/dresser failed to wear their masks during the entirety of the furniture assembly. They also called me an hour before the scheduled delivery saying they had already arrived at my location. My scheduled delivery was at 8:15am and they called at 7:15am. In addition, they failed to clean up after assembly because I stepped on a staple from one of the boxes they brought in.
Ashley Furniture rips off people, tricking people and they show you that they will give you a big discount but in reality they will charge you double. The staff there is absolutely rude and they won't even cancel your order. My message: if you are Ashley Homestore employee or customer quit your job and don't come Ashley Homestore again.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY!! WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. My boyfriend just moved here from Chicago and thought going with Ashley's would be a good idea but this store has literally given us nothing but trouble. The customer service I have experienced from this Ashley's is horrendous. My boyfriend and I ordered a mattress, foundation, bed frame, dresser, and night stand and they delivered everything but the mattress and foundation. It's been two days of NON STOP calling, being on HOLD FOR 30+ minutes, trying to get ahold of someone, emailing for someone to help us AND STILL NO HELP! We have been sleeping on the floor and are still waiting for someone to help us. Nate was trying to get us off the phone as quick as possible, Edgar hasn't responded to our texts , and Ashia told us SHE CANT HELP US AT ALL because we placed an online order????? They were trying to get us to PAY additional money for a mattress and foundation we STILL HAVENT RECEIVED. All they want to do is make sales but could care less about the customer. After driving 14 hours moving from Chicago you'd think they would understand our frustration!!! Update: they never got back to us, never apologized, never called back to check in on us. We had to wait over an hour online through the chat system. This place is a joke.

Was looking for a new couch for our smaller sized apartment. Willi lucero helped us out right away! He is extremely knowledgeable, we told him what we were looking for with the dimensions etc. And he brought us to a couch we loved! Pull out memory foam mattress, perfect size for what we needed. We even added an ottoman with trays and pillows. Best part yet the pricing was amazing!

Purchased 2 items from Julia Seffrood and manager Nate Marsh. Julia helped me pick out a rug and desk chair for a new bedroom layout, and Nate helped with the transaction for price-matching. Exceptional customer service, and wrote an email to corporate about Nate. While he is a temporary manager for the Huntington Beach location, I hope he gets transferred and hired full-time. He is all over the store helping customers and he's very personable. I will definitely be buying more furniture at this location.

Great Furniture store!!! We had such a wonderful experience shopping at Ashley Huntington Beach. We came here to buy new furniture for our apartment, and Asieh Ghamartale (store manager) helped us out. My boyfriend and I went to browse in the hopes of trying out some couches and getting an idea of what we like. Maja helped us through our entire time in the store and provided amazing customer service. She was able to break down all the pricing and deals and ended up helping us find a mattress as well. We're getting it all delivered to our new place on move in day which was a huge plus. I've been a manager in retail previously so I have pretty high expectations for an in store shopping experience. The service provided my Maja and her manager Nathan far surpassed my expectations and was some of the best customer service I've received. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you in the market for new furniture!

My wife and I went into Ashley HomeStore to look at some new furniture for both our bedroom and living room. Lauran Bikhet was our sales associate who was extremely helpful in showing us around and helping us find what we are looking for. Sales associate was nice but it took forever to process the transaction. Had account with Ashley but they canceled due to no activity With no notification and sent flyer in recent Weeks that there was credit available. So went into store and wanted to purchase items and had to call the bank with Ashley furniture and the person on the phone was rude to my elderly dad. Ended up having to use other method of payment.

I have to say everyone here is amazing!! Chuck helped me from the time I walked in and was so patient and sweet! He even gave me his tape measure to take to my new apartment to make sure I get the measurements right and pick the correct furniture to fit my needs. Not only was this experience the absolute worst I've ever had, now they're not returning my money to me when I sent the furniture back. They have 1,600 of my dollars and will NOT call me back or process the refund. I'm hoping my inquiry to the CFPB will help expedite my refund. I would rather sit on the floor than buy anything from this dreadful company again.
Where oh where do I start.. I&'ll start by saying TINA, BIG MISTAKE. Customer service is suppose to work with anyone and you have such a piss poor attitude, you should be fired. Pedro, the customer service girl & Duwayne are the ONLY helpful and nice people at this place. Other than that, you can forget it. We put a deposit down on a Sunday. When we called on the following Friday to fulfill the payment, the rep on the phone said that it would be easier for everyone if I just came in to pay because she would have to cancel the order and create a new delivery date, which I did not want to do. When I said &"it&'s easier for everyone but me, the CUSTOMER&", she had attitude after that and said, &"well I&'ll just cancel the order since you can&'t come in.&". I told her that I did not have the time as we are currently moving, but will make the time to come in, so that we can keep the same delivery date. The next day we did come in to fulfill the order and they had no problem taking our money. Once we left, about 20 minutes later, we did get a call from CS again and they said they had to push the delivery date back anyways. This is when the fireworks started. As I started explain my frustration with this, the rep, who I think is the manager, she proceeded continually interrupt me, and talk over me, and flat out argue with me, to a point that I had to elevate my tone to get her to let me put two words together. I have NEVER had to do that with any company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.When we did get the couch and end tables that, unfortunately, did not fit, the delivery guy handed me his phone to talk to the Ashley customer service rep. She said that it would be noted on the order that we were sending all piece back and that I could come in the store to get my money back (we paid cash). I waited for the customer rep to get there. Knowing that I was having issues, Pedro walked up to me and asked Tina if she was helping me. She stated, &"Oh hell no no no no, I&'m not helping that one...&" Are you serious? Is this REALLY the CUSTOMER SERVICE you want working on your floor? I&'ve thus filed a complain with corporate because I don&'t, as a customer, tolerate this behavior. No one should EVER be treated that way.The customer rep girl did tell me they would have to send a check out in 2 weeks after the order was processed in 24 hours that it was back at the warehouse. I understand the warehouse thing, but NO WHERE ON THE PAPERWORK DOES IT SAY WE HAVE TO GET A CHECK BACK. The customer service rep on the phone said we can go get the cash back TODAY and it would be put IN THE FILE IMMEDIATELY. Oh, and also, If you put a deposit down on anything because you ARE paying cash a few days later, that doesn&'t mean your delivery date is confirmed. These things SHOULD be said at the POS. We have had to rearrange our whole schedule work wise to make the delivery date change possible and now we have NO couch and NO ONE who can NICELY work with us. We will take our money elsewhere.
Customer service in store was fine but they follow you around (kind of like car salesmen). When we found what we wanted they told me my furniture would be delivered within two days which is the reason we decided to purchase. On my receipt they wrote delivery would be within 5 days, still great. On the 5th day I attempted to track my order which customer service could not find. When she finally found the order she said it would be delivered in 2 months, and that they did not have it in stock. I am fully aware of unexpected delays and things going on but when someone tells me I will have a delivery on 2-5 days and now I have to wait 2 months, that's unacceptable. I put in for a refund which unfortunately paid cash so now I have to wait for them to send me a check. I will never purchase anything from this store ever again.
I recently purchased all my furniture for a two bed apartment at Ashley Huntington Beach. Agnes was the sales agent I was dealing with and she was so helpful and knowledgeable and made sure I got a great deal. All the furniture was delivered quickly and in one go, which was really convenient. I am really happy with the quality of all the items I purchased (especially the Sofa which is so comfortable). Great service, they made sure I got the best promotion. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would 100% go back and refer friends for their furniture needs. Ask for Thomas or Bruce. The only opportunity for exceptional customer service was that they failed to mention is If any piece doesn’t work or fit in a space, do NOT sign for it. You have the option to send it back for any reason by not signing for it. I know because a salesperson in Utah informed me of that my first time shopping with them. Always be up front and honest in sales and you will have returning clients.

Just purchased a couch from Ashley furniture that we absolutely love. We had a great experience start to finish thanks to Edgar G. We were greeted right when we walked in, he asked what we were looking for, and then took us around the showroom. Unlike other stores we had been too, he actually listened to what we were looking for in a couch. Within 5 minutes he had us sitting on the perfect couch that fit all of our needs. Thanks again Edgar, we appreciate it! Side note: we had some issues with the delivery/set up. We were contacted by customer service who had a guy out the very next day to fix the problem. Overall we were impressed with the service all around.
Agnes was very helpful with all process of picking the right product for our house and the paperwork’s. She is very patient and good listener of what you are looking for, very recommended.

We wanted to give Willie Lucero a huge shout out. We visited Ashley's furniture February to look for new living room furniture and Willie was there to greet us. Not only did he help us by moving pieces of accessory furniture so that could get the best visual he allowed us the time to process and walk around so we felt cared about but not pressured to buy. We must have been in the store for 2-3 hours testing out our options. At the end of the day we bought a leather couch, 2 leather recliners, 3 piece coffee and end table set and a bar style table and chair set. When they delivered my furniture my tables were damaged and I called Willie and he had a new set delivered within a week. He even followed up to make sure everything was good and deliver was successful. I would definitely go back and ask for Willie. Denise G

Please read before shopping here. My girlfriend and I were moving into our new apartment together. We were met by a salesperson, who claimed to be a manager, even though he wasn't. He goes by the name Romeo (even though he has a different full name). My girlfriend and I ended up purchasing a $3000 temper pedic mattress which allowed us the opportunity to get some additional discounts on other furniture we needed. We also ended up purchasing a couch. As I needed a work desk, Romeo ended up "giving us the desk as a gift" since we were buying so much. After we did the purchase I found it odd that the desk wasn't included on the receipt. He had told me not to worry and it will come in the full order. A few days later we decided we would also pull the trigger on a king bed and 2 nightstands. When we did that purchase I followed up with Romeo again asking about the desk. I told him I didn't see it on the receipt. He told ONCE AGAIN not to worry as it would show up in the order. I mistakenly believed him. Today is the day of our delivery and guess what? No desk. I immediately called the cell of Romeo as he had given it to me. Before I could even get the words out about the desk, he had an aggressive response ready to go, as if he was prepared to argue about the desk that I didn't receive. He told me to refuse the whole order the day we move into our apartment and then hung up on me. I called for the manager of the store, and he is "busy." By this time Romeo has claimed his story and I received no call back. In addition we received a stained sofa. See the pics. All around this has been a horrific experience. We were taken for a ride and received damaged products. I am seriously warning you to be aware of what you are getting yourself into when you do business here. Please save your money and either go to a different Store. It's really not worth your piece of mind.

We went in looking for a rug for our living room and was torn between two different sizes and had not taken measurement of the rug that we had at home. Mistake on our part. The man helping us knew we couldn't decide between the two sizes. Instead of advising us to go home and measure the rug that we wanted to replace, he persuaded us on buying the rug. This was our second time buying something from Ashley's, the first a dinning table. A couple days later the rug arrives and it's too big. We call customer service at this Ashley's store and they tell us we can't exchange it because we signed for it. We did not want to return it but exchange it for the smaller size. We are not regular customers so we don't know how this works when buying things here. The man that helped us should have let us know that it would be final sale and to be sure it was the right size. Final time buying something from Ashley's.

PLEASE DO BOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE EVER! They have the worst customer service and delivery crew. I am unable to return a horrible mattress after spending thousands of dollars. Was told they could take my old mattress and they did not and even gave us a threatened remark. Furniture is cheap and smells like chemicals. Better off getting the same stuff at Big Lots or Wal mart and at least paying the price it deserves. Never shopping here again and posting on all my facebook groups to warn others. Hope they go bankrupt.
We purchased a server buffet that was delivered December. I noticed a broken hinge and requested a repair request end of December. Granted I wasn't expecting to have the request fulfilled in a week because of the holidays but it has been two months since I requested the repair. Each time I called they would ask if the part came in. No part has been delivered and it has been two months. They won't even replace the item! They directed me to call their corporate who was unable to help either. Very disappointed with this store's customer service.While I've always loved their furniture selection, I cannot recommend this store due to their lack of attention when it comes to issues that arise.
I am very happy with my purchase. And I was attended by saleswoman Agnes, she was very patient and attentive. Every time I go to Ashley, I’ll make it a point to be attended to by her.

Recently checked out the new store in HB after looking for a couch at other furniture stores, girlfriend and I went there and met Julie S one of the sales associates, after explaining to her what we had in mind she recommended the perfect couch. She Processed our sale and set up delivery in about 15 mins, very happy we went to Ashley, will be back for the remaining pieces we need.

The new store is awesome! Rick, Bruce, and Joe all spent so much time with me to understand what I was wanting to do in each room, answered my questions on products' differences (and in mattresses too), and then made suggestions to make the rooms even better. It's all about service at this new store. And they made it really easy to look through all their offerings, whether in that store or not. Can't recomend this new store enough!
BUYER BEWARE!!! Do not purchase furniture from this company any longer. In the past we have purechased most of our home furnutire at Ashley. Recently, we purchased a Porter Bed Room set and because it is made of partical board the stain and sealent is completely toxic and made me extremely ill! After over three weeks, more than 23 phone calls, Asieh, the Huntington Beach store manager allowed (and was disciplined for) a new set to be delivered which smelled the same toxic materials. I denied the delivery and they now state that they will not do ANYTHING further! No credit, no option for a new set, no offer of compensation of any kind!!!!! They do not care, in any way for their customers. During the sale they are peaches but if you have any problems, you are left with a large bill and furniture that could cause asthma, Brochitis and eventually who knows what! DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Went to buy a L couch and had a great experience thanks to Edgar G! It’s difficult to spend lots of money on an item without seeing it in person so I’m glad we went to Ashley’s. He made our experience very easy and was able to help out with a great price on top of the great service. The couch delivered just a few days after purchase and the guys were quick and cleaned up too.
Negative star if possible but sadly Yelp doesnt offer it. Bought almost $4000 worth of furniture on black friday last year (dining set, two sofas, king bed, and two night stands) Dining set and two sofas and night stands delivered on 1-11. Bed delayed to 1-22. Then was told that its delayed to 2-8 then 2-22 and now they're saying maybe 3-18. Trying to cancel this transaction and they say I have to come to the store, blah blah blah. Should have read the yelp reviews first, sigh. Lesson learned. If you're going to buy from Ashley, I'd recommend you ask them to check that the furniture you want is IN STOCK. Dont let them swindle you with empty promises! Never again. I'd rather go to IKEA at this point than to shop at Ashley's.

Spent ABOUT $4,000 ,was told he was throwing in our protection plan (maybe499$ warranty (scam).. we got our bill and realized they did charge us.. ok so I like my table it's shaped like a guitar pic bar height.. was told scratch and heat resistant! No that's not the case.. had several scratches and heat marks!! I mean we dinner in the fuckin thing!!!! Anyways it's all good,, but it was a lie about the functions.. it's fine it was only 2,000$ with that scam warranty!!! As much as a damn table at Z GALLERY!! anyways still fine I'm nit hating life Amd I paid 499$ for a 5 year warranty so it's all good I will get to it soon , cuz daily we ha e new marks!! But this time maybe we ate pizza on our tableomg we out a pizza box and now there is sits , the white ghost of the pizza box!!!!! And this time it stays!!! Usually they fade but this one stayed !! So now I decide to call !! In between my full time job ,a family running a business a salon here in HB CA!!!! taking my mom to dr, watching my grandson bla bla I call and make my claim!!! It's a company they refer as ***GBS financial****? Anyways lady asked me series's if questions, when did u first notice the marks?? Well I noticed them since day one, but the big heat mark a few days ago! Ok I need a date!! So I say August 3 !! Instead of September 3rd!!! She told me its past 30 days and so they won't be fixing my table!!!!! Past 30 days???? I bought a 500$ warranty and it's void cuz I told them I noticed the mark more then 30 days ago!!! Believe this shit!!!! This is a scam!! And they also put my couch and table on two separate invoice so the warranty isn't in the couch!! Lol what a sad place of business!! Do not go in the store to buy. You should go in to look at the furniture you want and then go buy it online. I purchased 2 pieces of bedroom furniture from inside the store. The chest was priced at $1,000! I told the sales guy (long) that was way ttoo much. He pretended to give me a sweetheart deal of $575. I bought it. Went back next day to buy the nightstand, next sales lady offered the same 50% off. I bought it. Instead of the $120 delivery fee, i chose to pick them up myself. 1hr 20min drive to Fontana area and a long dragged out process to get the furniture, round trip was 4 and half hours. Today, I wanted to buy the second nightstand so I went online to their website. I could have purchased both items online for $180 less and free delivery!!!! I decided to call Ashley and tell them I feel a little ripped off. The sales people act like used car salesman by making it seem like they are giving you aa killer deal lol. It's a total act and rip off. So the lady at Ashley HQ told me, when I called to say I feel ripped off, that online and in-store are two different Ashley operations hahaha. Omg, she really tried to sell me on the fact that they are two different entities, yet, both are Ashley furniture?? She said, it's like buying at one Walmart and then going to a different Walmart and the prices are different. Omg, the worst business policy I've ever heard in my life!!! DO NOT BUY IN THE STORE!!! Let me bad experience help you save money!! Editing review to add another disappointment, I also purchased a sectional here a few weeks ago. They were on Euclid in fountain valley Ann's moving to HB so they had an 80% off sale "everything must go". The sectional was priced at $5,000. Sales lady made me feel like I was getting a steal for $1,400 and I had to load it up that day from the showroom floor myself. It was broken and dirty because it was a floor model. I just learned I could have purchased it online with FREE DELIVERY for $1,900. What a shame that a company as big as Ashley is ripping people off and they don't even care. Prime example of why brick and mortar stores continue to fail and are closing down. I'll never buy here again. Their competitor Jerome's at least holds integrity between online and in store pricing.
I purchased a mattress from Ashley Furniture in Huntington Beach. I was told my old mattress and box spring would be removed when they delivered the new one. When my new items were delivered, the delivery service told me they couldn’t haul away my old stuff because they knew nothing about it. Heads up: if you purchase anything from them get delivery info and or removal of the old stuff in writing. They appear to want to make a sale, but not follow through with the service.
I recently purchased a mattress from Ashley and was told that they would pick up my old mattress and guess what they did not. I was told that kind of service has to be pre-arranged. The sales person failed to mention this to me. I called to complain and was given a phone number for a free recycling location that I would have to take myself. Now I'm stuck disposing of my mattress myself. This is unfortunate, so just a heads up to you to make those arrangements prior to delivery because they might not mention it to you after you give them your money.

Yesterday, I called my local Ashly store with some questions about an item. I was on hold for 10 minutes. After about 5 minutes I proceeded to place an order for a similar item at Wayfair and completed the purchase.When a woman finally answered my call at Ashley, I explained what happened and rather than apologizing she said something like Great, Have a nice Day. So not only was I not able to speak with anyone within a reasonable amount of time, I was brushed off by her flippant answer. So don't ask why brick and mortar stores are failing. That experience was a great example.
We went to this new store in Huntington Beach . the sales associate Kay was very professional, curteous and very knowledgeable. He was a mattress specialist. He took the time to explain the different matteresses and we experienced laying on numerous mattresses. We decided on a Tempur-pedic lux soft mattress. We also purchased the adjustable base.Delivery was the next day. The techs who delivered and set up my bed were very professional. Thank you for a wonderful experience. From store to warehouse to delivery to set up. I would recommend your company to anyone.
I went to Ashley's Home Store, Fountain Valley, 'just to look' at their inventory on dinette sets. My mother and I were kindly greeted with a warm smile by the sales person named Willi. Without the typical sales pressure, Willi asked me what was I interested in and showed us their selection. I was impressed with what I saw and it made me curious as to what kind of bed sets they had because I was also in the market for a new one. Sure enough, I found a very nice contemporary bedroom set. Remember I went in 'just to look,' but with the great offers, great service and great financing to fit my budget--I now have a new dinette and bedroom set. Willi also did a follow up regarding our delivery and if everything went okay. I appreciate Willi having thoroughly explained everything from start to finish.
