My salesman Kay was very nice. I appreciated everything he tried to do. However, I decided to cancel the purchase because I really don't need a bed. I went in for a chair and came out with a chair and a bed. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Despite having a nice salesman, I canceled my order in person. Thomas, refused to give me a receipt just a case number. He said it will take 3-5 days to appear on my credit card. Today is the 5th day and still no credit. My credit card bill is now due. Customer service reps (in the Phillipines) confirmed the cancelation, but all they can do is notify their finance department. I called the store and was sent back to the Phillipines and they gave the same answer. I read the owner's response to a negative review below where MD provided an email address for his help. I've emailed him just now. Hopefully, I will get my receipt. IMPORTANT UPDATE: MD responded to my email quickly. In his email he provided the information I needed. I'm very grateful for his rapid and thorough response. Every store should have a ataff member like MD. He was amazing!!

Had a delivery window of 8-11. Got a phone call and text message saying they would be there early, approx 7:45. Finally showed up at 11:30. Apparently the truck broke down but there was ZERO communication to let me know there was a delay. Called customer service twice to try and figure out what was going on and all I got was they will call you when they are close. That was when I could actually understand half of what they said. Stuff happens but there was a complete breakdown in communication. Remind your drivers of the importance of communicating with the customer, especially when there is a delay and please get customer service representatives that speak better English. Pretty disappointed

It wasn't a fun experience. From the time we parked and all the crazies at Chik Fillet and Wine store. When we first walked in, no one greeted us. Then we were quickly approached. As to what employee had us first. We were approached by a bunch of reps who kept asking us who was the original person who greeted us. We couldn't browse around without being looked at. The initial rep who starting helping us made sure it was him and only him if we wanted to buy something. When your asking questions to the store rep. They shouldn't be cutting you off during conversation. I get that you have been there for a long time and know furniture. It's what we are looking. If you don't have it. Just say so.... but don't try to turn us off what we are originally looking for, because we already came to an agreement of what we have set for. It's like asking for a cheeseburger and they recommend us fish sticks instead and then say cheeseburgers are not healthy. If I wanted sweedish meatballs. I would go to IKEA. On the plus side. The store was well lit. Nice floor layout. Prices are comparable. Furnishings had some really nice designs. They had some clearance couches that were a bargain.

I came to Ashley in search of my first couch purchase for my new house, and from beginning to end, Navid Bakhtiary was so helpful and kind. He wasn't pushy at all - he was very understanding, informative, and pleasant. He made sure that I got the couch I was looking for without pressuring me to buy. Thanks to Navid, I had an amazing experience at this Ashley location, and I purchased my dream couch. I would recommend him to anybody looking for new furniture. Thank you, Navid!

Has someone else stated, I’m not quite sure where to begin either. all I know is that this is the second time I visited Ashley and the second time that I’ve said to myself never again. You cannot call the store directly to resolve issues as you get transferred to a call center in the Philippines.

Experience was good we were able to buy a king size bed for my son and his wife and get a couch at a reasonable price, but I had some credit card fraud after buying products from Ashley once again. I had this happen about five years ago and I bought something at Ashley is a very next day. My credit card was compromised.

Kevin was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. Made our shopping experience very delightful as my husband and I dont typically agree on furniture selections. We will definitely visit Kevin at Laguna Hills again, thank you!

We had a great salesperson named diana.She led us through the process with ease and followed up with us.Afterwards. It made buying a large purchase, not so scary. She gave us lots of very good information about beds of all different kinds and helped us to make our purchase. Not only is she a very nice person, but a very, very good salesperson. The next time I come into ashley furniture, I will be asking for her personally. I can't tell you how comfortable my new bed is.And how happy I am that I shopped at ashley furniture.

The installation and customer service is horrible. I have bought a twin bed and the buying experience at store itself was horrible. The executive has no time for detailing or for discuss. He was just in rush to sign off for the day. So it was a rush hour regretful purchase. Installation was on time, but in the process there were cracks and loose screws. It's scary as children sleep there. Customer service is the most frustrating, immediately reported on the same day about these problems and still the issue is not resolved even after 3 weeks.

Bad customer service. Went in today to buy a twin mattress and a coffee table, knew exactly what I wanted but after 15 mins no one came up to offer help so I left. There was only one other customer in the store, how embarrassing for these sales associates.

My sister and I were here just today looking to “feel the fabric” and “sit on the sofas” to see if we could find the new seating for my TV area. Luckily, we were approached by Diana who asked if I needed help. She was not pushy and just let us know she was there to help. The store had a huge collection and we obviously seemed a little lost. Diana said would be happy to steer us to any items we were interested in. She helped us to discover what we originally came for was not what we ultimately chose but she did it in a non aggressive way. We thought a sleeper was the ideal configuration but didn’t want to open and close the unit, moved onto a recliner set that was a bit too small but really loved the color, mechanism and fabric. Thought a chaise lounge might be the best option but when we saw the oversized chair with all the other details, we fell in love. We were not really planning on buying as I thought we could order online to get a better price, but Diana was able to work all the sales so we got two for a significant savings over even the online prices. Diana was kind, involved, interested and honest which made our choice to buy on the spot an easy one.

UPDATE: Ashley's contacted us and offered us $80 for their lies. And the $80 has not even been credited - don't believe a word they say. The salesman sold us the extended furniture warranty - when it came time to use it - Ashley's cancelled the extended warranty and said it only applied to one piece of furniture. Be careful. They will give you a discount - but the discount they give you is dishonest. They tell you they will give you an extended warranty on your entire purchase and when it comes time to use it they have only applied it to one part of the purchase. Also, check the online prices first. Online is cheaper - then make sure the store matches the online price. Dishonest. It's not worth the headache.

Awesome store and we loved the collection here. Sales guy was super pushy and constantly signaling other sales guys was ridiculous. We intended to buy couch and dining soon but his horrible sales strategy made us think again, he pushed us to buy a bunker bed and when we decided to change the option he got mad and said he wanted to go home. Nabel is extremely unprofessional, rude, he lied about online orders that they come from Wisconsin etc etc.. We are Ashley family for the longest time but he disappointed us a lot.

I received help as soon as I entered the store and had purchased a bed and the mattresses before I left an hour later. It was a fantastic experience!

Ashley Furniture failed to credit my credit card $385.53 for 2 chair side end tables returned on 10-13-25 after multiple promises to issue the credit. Ashley Furniture case# 10722501. Still no credit on 11-11-25. California Attorney General should investigate the Ashley corrupt company to protect California customers. BUYERS BEWARE Ashley store salespeople and managers LIE and tell you they will credit your credit card if you decide to return something at the time of the initial delivery. Corporate office ONLY OFFERS IN STORE CREDIT instead of refunds and refuses to give refunds for returned merchandise. A lot of these reviews must be BOGUS as after all the LIES and RUNAROUNDS I have had there is no way Ashley can have close to a 5 star Google review. BUYERS BEWARE!

Got the new rug and reclining sofa from Ashley Furniture! The service was excellent, we were in and out of there quickly, had an extremely positive experience. The sofa was delivered in just days and took Ashley’s movers less than 10 minutes to assemble! We could not be happier!

Went to Ashley furniture to buy a kitchen table…. Ended up with the table 2 chair tables and a coffee table. Keven O’Connor was great. Listened to what we were looking for and had great suggestions! We will be back. Thanks Keven!

Lied to by our sales rep Mohsenirad at multiple steps through this process. Both the delivery and protection plan (total of $900 in charges) were not accurately delivered as described by our salesperson - Was told that our old couch would be removed upon delivery (was charged an addition $269 for delivery) and then when the new couch arrived we were told that our old couch would not be removed. They also started telling us they could not set up new delivery with old couch in the way. Delivery person even questioned if new couch would fit "because sometimes ashley sends the wrong product." We then called customer service who informed us "we got white glove delivery as we paid for" when i specifically asked Mohsenirad about the removal of our old couch and was told would be taken care of. -We followed up questioning the protection plan -total scam- When we got the initial invoice quote the protection plan cost $629, we told them we were not interested. The sales rep returned saying manager would not approve "discount" applied to the sticker price and the difference in cost would only be $100 even though the protection plan cost $600+, but "it is worth it because we could come back to the store after 5 years and get full refund on the protection plan via Ashley furniture gift card" when we asked the customer service rep about this we were told that we could contact the third party protection plan company and they would then determine how much of a gift card return we would receive. We are now stuck with an extra couch in the middle of our home that was promised to be hauled away. We also were basically forced to pay for the additional protection plan... or we were overcharged $550 on the couch, because no protection plan, no "Manager discount," feels like we were constantly lied to throughout this process. Would not recommend getting overcharged and lied to about expensive furniture purchases from this store.

Our order was placed incorrectly and when it was delivered the delivery team left it in our living room and told us to call the sales team and left. Called the number on the invoice and had to open a case to have another person review the problem. Couldn’t get it resolved right then. Tried emailing and texting with no response. No happy at all.

Just call asking for an specific sofa I talk to some on “on sales department “ He didn't want to give me his name and seemed to be in a hurry to hang up the call. I asked him to transfer me to someone else who could help me and he said no. Your customer service is terrible. This person was very rude and disrespectful for no reason. Glad to take my business somewhere else.

Very disappointed, we ordered furniture and decided to cancel a week prior to scheduled shipment. We called and requested to cancel, after a few attempts finally they accepted our cancellation and sent us a cancellation email. They informed us the refund process takes 3-7 business days. It has been over a month and we haven’t received our refund. We ended up calling our bank to dispute the transaction.

You may know this already but I’m saying it again - simply don’t buy from Ashley. Bad product and bad service. Just avoid it 🥴

My purchase of computer desk was delivered three weeks late. The commitment by store manager to refund 10% was never honored after trying to chase it down many times. I would never buy from Ashley again.

I had researched online so I knew what I wanted. Dina helped me find what I wanted on the floor to test out sitting on it. She priced it out and gave me a discount as well. I couldn’t purchase that day because of clearing a furniture return at another store. I came in 2 days later and Dina wasn’t working but Kevin helped me out with the follow up on the purchase. He was very helpful with helping me measure the exact dimensions of the sectional I was purchasing. I purchased the sectional and ottoman that day. What I like about Ashley is that their salespeople aren’t pushy. I have bought many pieces from Ashley over the years. They have reasonable prices and always a good selection to choose from. Thanks Ashley for being my go to furniture store since 2007!

I saw Ashley’s while visiting Laguna and decided to make a stop by since I was in dire need of a new coffee table. I don’t even know where to begin. We purchased many items for our home from Ashley. The sales representatives were very polite during the purchasing process, but everything started going wrong with the delivery. Out of five major pieces, four arrived damaged. Our sofa came with two holes in the back. Ashley simply sent us a cover, which is still sitting unused in the corner. We also purchased two twin mattresses. Since they did not fit the bunk bed, we asked the delivery crew to take them back before leaving. Ashley had clearly told us at the time of sale that if something didn’t work upon delivery, we could immediately send it back with the delivery team. However, the delivery personnel not only refused to take the mattresses but were also extremely rude and disrespectful to us. We did not sign the delivery paper, yet it was processed as if we had, and now Ashley refuses to take the mattresses back. As a result, we are stuck with them, and they are sitting in the corner, completely useless. On top of this, we financed the furniture with a 12-month installment plan and made our payments. A month later, we realized they had split the payment into two separate installments without informing us. Later, we heard from many other people who had also experienced the same poor service and misleading practices after purchasing from Ashley. This has been a complete waste of our time and an extremely disappointing experience

Not satisfy with the latest delivery with marks on bookcases and the driver damaged wall. Furthermore, Ashley did not keep the promise to replace unsatisfied and soft mattress as promised by the sale. It was hard to deal with Customer Services and untruthful sale person not to tell the truth and kept dragging the process of replacement. No more purchase from Ashley Furniture.

Ashley Furniture store (Laguna Hills) We were given a warm greeted by Dina. She listen to our needs and quickly provided a couple of solutions. At no time did Dina pressure us but provided us time to discuss amongst ourselves and provided us with additional information when we asked. Dina also provided us with sale pricing on both products we purchased of which we were unaware. Dina made the payment process very easy explaining the 1 page receipt completely. This is our second time purchasing at this store in less than a year. We got living room top-grain leather sofa set last year. Recently, we got a sofa for Loft and a single top-grain leather + heat + massage chair. Naved and Kevin helped us to make our purchase easy and exactly as per our needs. They made it faster and more efficient. Everyone in the store is helpful and they are always keeping an eye on customers.

Purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress with adjustable base, a dining table with chairs, a sofa and a cal king bed on 8/2/2025. Nick was our sale associate and he made this the best experience ever. We walked in intending to just look at a sofa and walked out with many amazing products at a great price. We had such a good time talking with Nick and he was very impressive with his detailed knowledge of every item we purchased. He wasn’t pushy at all. In fact he encouraged us to take our time. We not only met a great sales person but an amazing human being. We’ll definitely be back for other items in the future.

High quality furniture in a well maintained store. Had a wonderful white glove experience working with Dan Nguyen finding a new bed, mattress and couch for a new apartment! Update 8/29 - Unfortunately our experience has changed dramatically since my initial review. The wrong bed was delivered on the scheduled delivery date. This was an egregious error by the Sales Associate writing down the wrong SKU number, even though we signed the papers right next to the in-store display bed. For the thousands of dollars we spent we expected an accurate sales process. We sold our old bed and mattress thinking we had the new one coming but instead we had to sleep on a mat on the floor for 6 days! When I texted the Sales agent on the delivery day he casually brushed us off to Customer Service without an apology as if this wasn't his fault in the first place. Customer Service over the phone could barely help so we went in store thinking it would be a faster resolution. The manager in store didn't seem keen to helping with the attitude we received because they were already dealing with multiple similar cases (sorry but that is part of customer service). Fast forward to the end of that conversation and the next 3 days each manager told us different re-delivery dates for the bed, even as far out as 2 weeks later! We simply did not take No for an answer given the floor sleep was affecting quality of life/work and for the thousands spent so they finally gave in and shipped the right one 6 days later. Throughout this ordeal we never received an official apology by any staff member. Accountability is an issue we saw throughout the resolution process and therefore we will not shop here again.

My couch frame was broken, my back was aching and I knew it was finally time to find a new couch. My last experience was not great with pushy, hovering sales people and limited options. I was worried that this experience would be the same, however, I was pleasantly surprised upon walking in to Ashley's Furniture in Laguna Hills. My boyfriend and I were met by our sales person Bill. He explained to us the layout of the store and then gave us time to look around, checking in just to answer any questions we had. The show room was spacious and filled with many options. He made sure once we found our couch to get us the options we wanted and he was never pushy. It was honestly the best couch buying experience I have had. We had gone to the other Ashley in Santa Ana and we were so disappointed by the customer service. We decided to drive the extra 20 minutes to Laguna Hills, since we have had good experience at this location in the past. With in 5 minutes of being in the store I knew we made the right choice. Kevin H. was so helpful and considerate. He listened to my daughter and what she wanted since we were shopping for her. 10/10 experience. We will always come to this location first from now on.

The delivery of our furniture went off like a perfectly choreographed dance. The driver called about 10 minutes before arriving, and when he rang the doorbell, the box was situated behind him, and he introduced himself and his helper to us. We welcomed him into our home and showed them where to place the furniture. Both agents were dressed in clean uniforms and extremely polite. They were clean and efficient in their set up and in a wink of an eye our recliner was set up. I tried it out and it was perfect. Our experience with the delivery agents was excellent. We give them a 10!

Jessie was AMAZING in helping my fiancé & I when looking for new furniture for our new home . He let us browse and informed us of any sales going on , then once we found furniture to our liking , he helped us immediately with discounts/sale and delivery dates . A complete waste of time!!! Turn away!! Went in ready to buy a bed and left hours later irritated and robbed. I got charged before even getting an invoice. Delivery fee is basically just a fee to assemble. They can deliver to your door for free. I got charged the WRONG AMOUNT!! And the manager basically said he couldn’t fix it because he has only been there for 2 months. Even after explaining the proper process to cancel the authorization he couldn’t deliver. Now I have to wait 5-10 business days for a refund to be issued.

This was my second visit to Ashley's. The first time was a few years ago and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. This time was the opposite. We were greeted very nicely by the first sales person on the sofa side of the store. Once we decided what we wanted to purchase, we looked for the same salesperson but couldn't find him. We wound up finding a gentleman named Rooman. He was not friendly, did not know a lot about the items we wanted to purchase, and seemed disinterested in us. We didn't have a large purchase but just the same we expected a courteous demeanor. We even asked if we could purchase the last item that eas on display and was quickly told no. Rooman wouldn't even go look for a manager to ask. Then when we went to pay, we showed a coupon. The cashier was even ruder saying the coupon was only good for purchases over $1000. Our coupon said it was for purchases over $100, and the cashier abruptly told us that the fine line said it was for purchasing in store items not an order. Well you can't buy anything in the store so what is the point!? Needless to say, we will not be returning to Ashley's and will not recommend them to anyone.

READ BEFORE BUYING, VERY USEFUL INFORMATION! Raja was the salesperson that "helped" us this day. We have bought furniture before at Ashleys but this has never happened to us. We ordered a lot of stuff and a 5 piece sofa for 6 people (we told the lady, Raja, that we wanted the exact one on display). When we received our furniture it was all wrong. The sofa had a love seat facing the wrong side. The guy who delivered was really nice and told me to check very carefully because once you have it in your home, it is very difficult for them to want to pick it up. So they took back the 2 pieces that were wrong. When we received the correct ones, I realized that they had given me a 5 piece sofa but it was for 7 people. One of the pieces was a love seat instead of a single one. I called the store like 4 times (each time they would open a ticket) and went there like 3 (they would also "open a ticket"). I spoke directly to Raja and she accepted she had made the mistake and talked to her manager but they don't care at all (Raja had charged me the incorrect size). Long story short, every time they opened a ticket, Ashley's said everything was correct with the order and couldn't fix the situation. Even the manager said, it's easier to get store credit than to get your money back. I was even willing to do that, but nothing. I ended up staying with the big furniture that barely fits my living room. :(

Ashley warranty is a SCAM! We had a dining table with color peeled off within one year - well under their warranty! This clearly is a quality issue of the product. We requested replacement with pictures while the customer service insisted to send a technician to inspect. The technician was not able to solve our problem and made up fake things on warranty. Very rude, unethical , and unprofessional! Let him continue working at your company and drive more customers like us away!

The store is nice, and the sales rep was great. No issues with my experience with them. However, my overall experience is so bad. I had my furniture delivered as planned. They scheduled me two delivery dates as not everything was ready for the same time. We received a call saying that they were confirming we were ready for them. We got another call right after saying they had all of our shipment ready to be derived. Our bunkbeds were not supposed to come for another week. The arrived with my furniture and was upset that I was not ready for them. I mean I had another week before it was scheduled to break down the bed my kids sleep on every day. The two guys were upset that i was not ready with a 10-minuet notice. They helped breakdown my old bed in the room. During moving the old bed downstairs, they hit my drywall, and it put a small hole in it. As a customer with them working in my house I wanted to make sure they would bring it up to my attention as the homeowner and mistakes happen. They were just about done with their job at my house when i asked if they would be covering the damage. They took photos and said they reported it their boss and I would hear back from them to get it fixed. After waiting 3 weeks and not getting a call I called them. They pulled up my file and said they would not be covering any damage is the guys sent photos in saying I had existing damage. I was so mad. I had to wait 3 weeks for not a phone call or anything... I had to call and get the bad news. I told the lady over the phone that that is not correct, and I wanted my wall fixed. She got an attitude, and I asked to talk with her boss. She said that they would transfer me. During a 10 minuet wait I was hung up on. I had to call back and go through the process again. The boss and i finally spoke and she assured me she would be looking into this and get back to me. She told me up to 48 hours I would get a call back. 72 hours later and no phone call back. I got to call in again. At this time i was told they will not be helping me out and that they were sorry. This has not been worth my time or energy to get the wall fixed. I have given up on the fight and just wanted to share my experience with anyone who was thinking about buying and getting a delivery to your home. Make sure you check your walls and get photos of them before they come in. It makes me sad because I also work customer service and I tell my staff accidents happen. It all about how you handle them. This made me feel bad for the staff that they would be fired for making a mistake or something. Either way bad company experience and I will not be using your company in the feature.

Ashley has the WORST quality control and customer service! Our dining table which is solid wood as advertised started to show color peeled off in several areas only within a few months after the purchase, well under their one year warranty! They insisted sending their technician to repair. I rejected the repair option as the repair work we previously received not only did not resolve the problem, but also left significant harmful chemicals which caused severe respiratory conditions on us. The customer service has been ghosting our replacement request forever. This the first and LAST time we’ve sho at Ashley! Worst experience ever!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. I went to the store expecting to see the actual furniture in person, but the manager only showed me pictures and assured me it would be perfect. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing like I imagined—it was much bulkier, didn’t match my space, and simply wasn’t what I wanted. The worst part? I tried to return it the same day it was delivered, and they refused to take it back. They claimed it was “in-home delivery,” so returns weren’t accepted—even though I was never told this clearly upfront. It feels like a scam: no proper in-store viewing, misleading communication, and no return option even within 24 hours. I strongly urge others to be cautious before buying anything from here. Make sure you see the actual product in-store, and don’t rely on pictures or promises. Very disappointed and will not be returning as a customer. Update: owner replied to ky review and offers help by emailing them the info but even after I did that they never contacted me! They just replied to review to say we care but in reality they don’t!!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Ashley. At the time of delivery, I was not informed that I had the option to refuse the item, which left me with a product I’m unhappy with. On top of that, the salesperson misled me by claiming the items have matching color— it clearly doesn’t. I expect honesty and transparency when making a purchase, especially from a brand I’ve trusted and bought from in the past. When I reached out to request a return, the lack of support and flexibility was frustrating.

No issues with the store itself but their protection plan charge is a hoax! I was recommended by the sales person to purchase a $450 plan to have the cleaning service as I have young kids and after almost 3 years of purchase I wanted to use that service for a few marker spots my child made on the chairs but the person asked tens questions and denied cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to pay for that protection plan.

Ashley had exactly the couch we were looking for. In addition with help of Dan we also purchased a coffee table & end tables and rug to complete our living room. We do not replace furniture often, it was nice to go to one store and feel we found a great price and quality. Dan was very knowledgeable about the different fabrics on each couch we looked at, which helped us make the decision.

We came here to look at rocking chairs for our nursery with our baby set yo be delivered in a little over a week. We were helped by Gus, who was fantastic. He was attentive and helpful while still giving us space to browse and discuss among ourselves. Once we made a decision, he processed the order efficiently and confirmed our details multiple times to make sure the order and address was accurate. We had been hesitant to shop at Ashley after a horrible experience at the Santa Ana location, but Gus made our experience here a positive one. We will definitely return to Gus if we need furniture in the future.

Found exactly the electric recliner needed following my upcoming knee surgery and a beautiful, quality-made, round 5-piece dining set. Received a 10% discount plus an additional 5% veterans discount. Applied a $100 Ashley's certificate from a Savi Ranch (Anaheim Hills) Ashley's Furniture event. Only thing I would recommend...don't pay for the setup service, as it's not needed for most people. It cost me $200, and they didn't assemble anything on the recliner chair. Just unboxed it outside and carried it to my living room. Plus, the dining table only needed the legs/base screwed into the table top. Dining chairs were already assembled. Super easy and assembly by 3rd party delivery staff not really necessary. Save your $ and just get it delivered to your door and set it up yourself.👌

I purchased a dining table from Ashley today, for delivery next week. I couldn't have been more happy with Nabil, the sales person that assisted me the 3 times I went in with questions. The sales staff was considerate of our initial preference to just walk around by ourselves and get an overview of several categories to help furnish a newly-purchased home. When the time came to begin asking questions (even though we started with a discounted table lamp), “Kevin” was there to answer questions in the middle of another transaction for him. When he completed that sale he fully returned to us and we ended up purchasing eight lamps, a standing mirror and high probability purchasing a set of two leather electric recliners. We found the staff to be highly knowledgeable about their inventory and attentive - but not overly aggressive - to our needs.

They have more affordable furniture but the quality is just the worst. The fabric and filling are the lowest of quality. After a couple of months, you want to throw the whole sofa away. We do not have pets, smoke or eat on sofa and the fabric has an awful smell. I have a 15 year old cream colored couch from Macy’s that has no stains or odor. From Ashley’s, I bought a couch, love seat, sofa bed and pressured to buy an over $3k Tempur pedic mattress that is literally a pain in my back. So yes, furniture prices good but it’s not worth the money. Also they really try to sell you a mattress because that’s how they make the most profit.

Awful customer service. My husband and I went in to shop for a new mattress and, unfortunately, were assisted by Fred. He never asked about our budget and immediately directed us to the most expensive option. When we mentioned it was out of our price range, he responded, “No problem, I’ll call to increase your Ashley’s card limit.” When he realized we weren’t sold on the idea, he showed us other options, but when we asked for an out-the-door price, he kept throwing out random numbers and repeatedly went to speak with his manager without ever giving us a clear answer. The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. We will never shop here again and definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone.

Really bad customer service , the misleading sales. The in store sales representative are really providing misleading information to make sales. And after the item gets delivered the customer care are shamelessly rude and unhelpful. The sales representative first provided completely wrong information given the item was not on display we went by the recommendation. On delivery we uncovered the item was not at all like the one promised. When we reached out to customer care they said store should be the one to take care. On calling the store they plainly denied any help. It’s really sad that we buy so costly items from such famous and branded stores which in turn do not care about there customers and are running a not so friendly business with zero accountability and responsibility

Was greeted as I walked in . The person who assisted me didn’t make me feel rushed and gave me time to look around as well and answered questions .

I felt like prey with vultures surrounding me. I was approached by 4 sales people, before I even had the chance to look around. Sales team needs to make it a more pleasant experience for customers when they first walk in the door. Not making customers feel the pressure to buy when you haven't even looked around. They follow you closely, trying to compete with each other. All I wanted to do is browse. I had comments, if anyone asks, tell them I'm helping you. But they weren't at the time. I was obligated to nobody. I also felt that they were staring at me just waiting for me to need assistance. It was very uncomfortable. Fortunately, for Ashley's Furniture, I found what I was looking for at a great price. I approached a sales person, Nabil, asking for help purchasing items. He was amazing through out my purchase. Super friendly. After I found my ideal living room furniture, my experience was quick and pleasant. I just wish the sales team didn't act like vultures. It's too apparent they work on commission. Very happy with purchase.

While I am new here I didn’t aware buying a bed and mattress do not come with a foundation naturally, I have to go back to buy a foundation separately. This resulted into severe delay and reordered. This company still deals in scam warranties. They sold me a $500 5-year furniture warranty on a bed that fell apart in 2 years, and are telling me that the nature of how the bed fell apart is not covered under warranty.

They are willing to go out of their way to sell you something, however try to get a warranty repair or replacement and your in for a long battle with and overseas call center. I rather have all my teeth pulled then do this again. Never going to shop at this place again.

Found what I liked on line. Visited the store to see it. Bill Breen took my right to the bed. He was excellent in explaining the deals to get the best price and free delivery and setup. The whole transaction took less than 20 minutes. He was cordial and very professional. Loved this experience.

The selection of recliners was very good though they could use higher backs for head support for taller folks. The sales rep was very helpful and very patient with me and my two sisters. I’ll return for another visit and take my time to choose the right chair.

Had a wonderful experience! Shopping at Living Spaces for furniture was night and day compared to a couple other big name places I went to. Staff doesn’t make commission so prices are vastly cheaper, people were incredibly helpful, without making you feel like a piece of meat to be exploited, and the sales lady who helped us was genuinely caring about the product she sold. Selection was great! I would never shop elsewhere for furniture again.

We were shopping for a power lift recliner. The store had a good selection at various price points. Our salesman, Dan, was very helpful. We purchased one that perfectly met our needs and expectations. 3/5/25 update: We were so happy with Ashley Furniture that we returned today and purchased a queen sleeper sofa and loveseat. We visited several other stores, but Ashley had the best selection and price. Kevin was our salesman and he was very helpful.

Felt like we were at a car dealership with the amount of pressure they throw at you immediately. After trying one chair the guy was trying to put our info down to sell us the chair 😬 would buy online just to avoid that overly pushy salesman.

We had a very pleasant experience with Navid who showed and sold us our new family room furniture. He was always there and seemed to know when we had a question without “following” us around. Navid was helpful and informative about the material used and the colors available for each sofa and recliner.

Furniture is over priced for the quality. Problems identified at delivery were ignored or given some bizarre explaination that the furniture is suppose to be that way. Additionally, we were not aware the “sold as us”, no returns allowed. All sales are final. Would have NEVER purchased if this was presented to us by the salesperson.

Salesman was pushy. Kept asking if we need additional items when we were very clear about what we were there for. I spotted the right item, it one he tried to show us and said delivery wasn’t available for the sale item. Wouldn’t be surprised if he made that up so we’d buy something more expensive. I got lucky and got a decent piece for cheap at Ashley.

The bed is beautiful and complementary in my son’s bedroom, and the Delivery team did a great job assembling it when it was delivered.

I tried every way I knew to buy new $900 chairs from them. I moved from out of state to an assisted living center to CA. The lawyers stopped the transaction, not once but many times . I will never do business with this company again. Roasted in hell Ashley.

We had a great salesman, Jesse, but received one of our pieces of furniture broken. It was finally replaced after jumping through hoops. That new piece had a mis-aligned drawer. Twice weve been told they are sending a new drawer. Its been months. NO drawer, no communication. We give up. We just wont buy at Ashley again.

Stay away.. This is what happened to me. I declined the 5 year warranty and realized I still got Charged for it. Called the sales rep and said she would call me back. Never heard from her. Then called corporate office, no answer, called multiple times. I used their Interest free 12 month CC. So now I am dealing with the CC and Ashley furniture. This has taken way to much time. They took off the 5 Year warranty but then charged me the full price and not the sale price. If you have a lot of time well maybe you can deal with this. I don't I will NEVER shop here again

Laguna Hills Store I purchased a sofa sleeper. I did not approve the extended warranty when I went to check my invoice I noticed that they included the warranty I told them I did not want it I opened up an account with synchrony CC and I noticed they did not take off the warranty to me this is a scam sales rep Hiba A.

Customer service: Excellent, very chill atmosphere. Sales personnel lets you walk around without hovering over your shoulder pressing on you buying something. Store: Clean and very well organized. Good lighting, and a decent amount of choices between sofas, beds, decorations, dining tables, etc. Prices: Seemed overpriced (Maybe it’s just me,) seemed higher than Jerome’s and higher than Living Spaces. Product: The quality of their products seems lower than that of Living Spaces products. Lower quality of leather, and fabrics. When it comes to Ashley’s and Jerome’s product quality, it seemed and felt the same. But maybe it’s just me!

Highly recommend Ghassan Nasr since I walked in he help me gave me some distance to browse around to select my needs ! Very knowledgeable explains to me about the products and we will definitely coming back to buy more furniture from him.

Terrible service and quality. The TV cabinet arrived with a crack on the first day. After paying all the fees, including installation, the salesperson said all the furniture would be delivered in half a month. However, only part of it was delivered on the scheduled day without any prior notice, and it was split into two shipments. They haven't proactively contacted me about the delivery of the remaining items. When I called, one employee said it would be mid-next month, while another said I should pick it up myself. Later, they told me to visit the store again. Buying furniture from them makes them feel like gods while the customer ends up being the most exhausted and heartbroken person.

Bill Breen at the Laguna Hills location on El Toro was awesome. We have been looking for a mattress for a few weeks, beginning to feel like Goldilocks! Bill was excellent in helping us find the right mattress for us, he listened to what we wanted and our budget, then steered us to several options. He encouraged us to lie down for five-ten minutes to make sure we were really able to test out each mattress. We feel Ashley gave us a great price also! This is our second furniture purchase at this Ashley Store and we would definitely recommend them and especially Bill Breen!

I have to talk about our experience at Ashley Furniture in Laguna Hills. We've always had a good reception by a salesperson as soon as you step into their showroom. This time we were greeted by Lama Jandali. She asked what brought us into the store today and we said we were looking for a new bed. While enroute to the mattress section, she asked what type of bed we were looking for. Now we've been in there several times and had two that were on our short list. Lama explained both mattresses selling points and she was very knowledgeable with her products. She didn't pressure us or try to steer us to the more expensive one. Lama gave us foam pillows to try and they were great. After going back and forth lying on each bed, we finally decided...yes...on the more expensive one anyway. It was just a bit more firmer than the first mattress. So we asked Lama if she could swing some sort of deal with the Stearns and Foster (Cal King), the two foundations and the two pillows. She went over to her manager and came back with a deal that we thought was fair. Lama was so helpful and didn't try to force anything on us. She was very personable and everyone should feel at ease if Lama greets you at the door! Also, we had the bed delivered today, 6/21/2024, everything went as expected but we were short one pillow. We went back to Ashley's and spoke to the manager, Jennifer. We explained the shortage and immediately, she made it right...done deal! Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Best experience shopping for home items EVER! I cannot even express my level of satisfaction with this store. It is clean, well staged, wheelchair accessible, and has wonderful employees! I took my very disabled mother to this Ashley on El Toro and when we entered a lady named Diana came to help us. She was so pleasant and immediately greeted us. We told her we were looking for a mattress, frame, and recliner chair. We then followed her around the store just learning so much about the products! Diana knows EVERYTHING and the one thing we stumped her with, she went and found the answer in seconds and came back eager to share! She was a joy to be around. We were in the store for a few hours and she assisted my disabled mother up on beds to try their firmness and helped us push the wheelchair around the store. We laughed with her a lot and really enjoyed our afternoon shopping here! She got us a great delivery date and just can’t even say enough about how lovely she is! Thank you so so much!

You company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was in a "help" chat on your website where I kept getting redirected to a new agent that made me reverify who I was three times before I stopped trying and called. Given this was only three times but a 2 to 3 minute delay for any reply from the agent turned this into a 17 minute chat that still didn't answer a simple question. Once I called customer service I was meet by AI who proceeded to ask me the same question 7 times when I was asking to speak to a representative. All of this was needed to confirm if premium delivery included removal of the old furniture. This is a service that is offered by every single store and online so something that simple should not have been half an hour to get an answer for. The store I bought it from didn't even answer when I tried to call them first during working hours. Great furniture or not, this will be my last purchase from your store if takes that much effort for such a simple question. Even when I finally reached customer service it took asking 4 times without being prompted for some scripted question to get a simple NO we don't remove your old furniture.

I saw some barstools online and wanted to look at them before purchasing.Diana is such a sweet salesperson! I told her that the online site was offering a 10% off purchase price along with their markdown items. I glanced at my sales receipt after purchase and there was a discrepancy in the amount I was charged. It was the wrong price! The next day when customer service was in the process of correcting the amount for credit, they noticed that the 10% off sale was only for clearance items and not for regular priced items. The owner of the store said that he would honor the 10% off, since it was offered to me and also adjust the price I was charged. The customer service, sales staff (Diana) and owner were so accommodating. I can’t thank them enough. The difference in the amount was quickly credited to my credit card. It is so nice to do business with people you can trust and who treat you fairly and go out of their way for great customer service.
