Last saturday we went to the Ashley Home store in Lathrop in search of a new livingroom set. We were greated by salesperson Tianna Jones who was very friendly and extremely helpful. Tianna listened to what we were looking for and did not try to upsale or pressure us into anything. Talking to Tianna was like talking to one of our friends. Tianna helped us get the set we wanted and worked with her manager on the price. If you're in the market for some new furniture go to Ashley's in Lathrop and ask for Tianna Jones. Stopped into the store ready to take home to sofas with me the same day on a Sunday afternoon. No associate helped me when I walked in and started looking around. I walked up to an associate that was not able to completely assist me nor offer to find someone to help me but let me know she could answer questions I had. She then told me there was no way I would be able to take any furniture same day. I immediately walked away and proceeded to look for an associate that would be willing to help. After waiting another 10 minutes and asking 4 different associates if they could help I finally found a gentleman by the name KIM who was happy to help. KIM was GREAT! He did a fantastic job of helping us get everything together in a timely manner. Also had no one else to help with lifting besides our family. He was just fantastic! Id hope everyone in that store would take tips from KIM on how to treat your customers.

After nearly an hour of haggling, I finally got a price I was happy with for the furniture. Apparently, EVERYTHING is negotiable and you're not getting the best price up front. Additionally, the prices in the outlet are not automatically lower than what you'll find on the web site. You need to compare both and they'll honor the lowest of the two. I felt like I was buying a used car and couldn't wait to get out of there. I hope I enjoy the furniture more than the process of buying it. UPDATE 9/6: Well, after a frustrating purchase experience, things have gone from bad to worse. My bed and chest of drawers was supposed to arrive on 8/22. So on 8/20, I sold my existing chest to make room for the incoming one. But on delivery day, all that was on the truck was the bed. No chest. No notification. No communication from Ashley that there was a delay. And clothing all over my floor waiting to be put in the new chest. It’s taken two weeks for them to tell me it’s a supply chain issue and my new expected date is mid-November. Horrible communication and customer service. I like my bed so far but am seriously questioning if it’s worth this hassle. I’ll update again as appropriate. Stay tuned.
Brought bed from them came in damaged asked for replacement now I'm being sent techs at home to repair they say it have to be tech to say it's unrepairable why do I'm paying full for patched furniture won't shop with them anymore 😒
Horrible experience throughout. From the purchase date to all six different delivery dates. Wrong things ordered, wrong things delivered, once replaced, they were either defective or broken. No return phone calls from salesperson. Very extended hold times when calling customer service. Unable to reach actual store. Went in person to try to speak to manager who happened to be the same salesperson that got promoted to store manager and he never came out to talk to me. Issues not yet resolved.
The furnite look good but some of the prices are cheap in quality...spent nearly $8000 in one visit. From all the furniture the lamps turn on switch fell off. The driver a thief, told the store he delivered all my pieces but he didn't. I'm still fighting for my table. They said the driver sent pictures of the same table making it seem I had received 2 but I only received 1 end table. I was given wrong numbers and a run a round of endless emails and calls and messages with false promises that this issue would be resolved...customer service is incredibly terrible. If I could give them a neg 10 I would

I purchased a love seat and a queen bed last week. The sales person told me that both were in stock. The delivery was today. The first thing I heard was that the love seat is on back order - no estimate of when It will come. Then they brought in the bed. the frame was missing parts and would not work. The mattress was the wrong brand and size so I wound up with nothing. It was rescheduled for Saturday - I hope they can do better .
I purchased a mattress, bed frame and protection plan. However I found a better deal on the mattress at Costco so I decided to get a refund on the mattress and the protection plan. That totaled up to $500. Since I paid cash the store gave me the option to only receive it by check within 15 business days. It’s been past 15 business, 10 calls, 3 emails and I still haven’t received a response on my check. This is very frustrating and disappointing. I will not recommend anyone to shop at this store !!!
Ordered a chair took them three weeks to give us a response on why it wasn’t delivered, they gave us several different excuses including trying to blame us for not filling out all the paperwork so we had to drive down there to get an answer just to find out that the chair was out of stock the entire time And then when the chair finally did get there it was lopsided Waste of time and money if I would’ve known I would’ve just canceled it from the beginning
