Don’t buy from Ashley HomeStore - Go to Fashion Furniture in Fresno! They have better quality furniture for lower prices, and their customer service is absolutely incredible. Ashley HomeStore, unfortunately, is unethical and they have horribly disappointing customer service. I used to love Ashley furniture, and would recommend it to other people. My husband purchased a bedroom set for me for Christmas, including delivery. They confirmed delivery, including our address, 5 times. The day of delivery, they gave the 10-minute out, and then the delivery driver called my husband saying they were actually 4 hours away, and we’re not going to deliver our furniture. We spent over 4 hours on the phone talking to various members of their company. The delivery driver said that dispatch would call us (they never did). We called dispatch, and they said this was a HomeStore issue. We called the HomeStore and they said this was a dispatch issue. They sent us around and around - making us call different members in their company to fix their mistake. The night ended with them saying that *our* attempts to resolve *their* issue were “perfectly reasonable”. They did say that they would refund our delivery fee, but wouldn’t tell us when we could re-schedule delivery. They said the HomeStore manager and the dispatch manager would call us back the next day. Neither called. I called Customer Care to see if there was any resolution, and they said they showed that they delivered our furniture. *I* am the one who had to tell them that they did NOT, in fact, deliver our furniture. They apologized and re-scheduled our delivery date for a week later. Second delivery date came. They confirmed our address 4 times. THEY DID NOT DELIVER. They gave us the exact same run-around, and told us, again, that they were not going to deliver our furniture. They said someone would call us back the next day. No one called. We called them again, and they AGAIN had marked our furniture as having been delivered. We had to tell them that they had NOT delivered our furniture. They said they had a note in their system that said a manager called us to explain the situation, but we didn’t like what they had to say. No one had ever called us back. At this point, they also had not refunded the delivery fee from the first failed delivery, as they said they were going to. We requested to cancel our order. They refused to refund us. We had to open a dispute with our credit card company in order to get our money back. The HomeStore manager called us the next day and literally begged us to come in to re-order the furniture set. He said they would give it to us for 60% off. We agreed. They told us the delivery date, and my husband confirmed the delivery date because he had to take a day off from work to accept the delivery. They promised they would actually deliver our furniture this time. The delivery date came, and guess what? THEY NEVER DELIVERED OUR FURNITURE. We requested a cancellation. They said they would cancel our order. The next day they called us to reschedule our delivery, and my husband said that the order was cancelled. They said that didn’t show in their system. He requested cancellation again. They confirmed. The day after that, they called AGAIN, to reschedule our delivery. My husband said that he was told that his order was cancelled for the past two days. They said that didn’t show in their system. We had to open another dispute with our credit card company because they refused to refund our money. Save yourself the hastle!!! Just go to Fashion Furniture. They deliver from Modesto to Bakersfield, and they are SO nice! We ordered our bedroom set from them after this whole Ashley HomeStore mess, and the furniture, including delivery and a 5-year protection plan, was a better price than the Ashley furniture set — and it’s a better quality set! And the best part: THEY ACTUALLY DELIVERED OUR FURNITURE! They had no issues at all! They were so friendly, so nice and helpful — they delivered and set it up within a half-hour. Never, EVER go to Ashley HomeStore. Fashion Furniture is the way to go!
We had a GREAT experience at Ashley HomeStore. Ashley, our sales representative, provided professional service, was extremely knowledgeable about the products, and thoroughly explained the specials they currently have. While we initially were shopping for a living room set, because of Ashley's excellent customer service, we purchased a 6 piece living room set, full master bedroom set and dining table set! Highly recommend Ashley!

Bad customer service. Had appointment and still waited for over 2 hours.
After having our furniture taken off the truck three times due to overloading. Waiting for what would be 6 weeks for our sectional that we were promised in 2 weeks, we made arrangements and set an appointment to go pick up the furniture from the warehouse in Lathrop. We live in Reno NV. By this time I have taken time off work and now will have to take another whole day. So we arrived at the warehouse to be told that they had no record of us making arrangements or no record of our 10:00am appointment. 3 hours later they managed to find out furniture and pull it so we could load it on our truck. No apologies, no let us see what happened or what they could do to fix the problem. We were just pushed aside and told to wait. 10 hours later we arrived home. At this point I’m afraid to open the boxes!!!
We have returned 4 times dinning room set and left 4 message for store manager vanessa to call back, never did she call back. Worst service and product. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT.
This is an edit to a review I posted a couple of weeks ago where I messed up the name of the person who assisted us...his name was OMEGA, but I called him Ego...so I am correcting my error here. Apologies to this talented man! “This couldn't have been an better experience! From the minute we walked in the door, Omega greeted us with a winning smile! We were told how things work, and he turned us loose to look without feeling like we were being stalked! This is just the kind of furniture shopping experiences everyone should experience. At Ashley HomeStore Outlet, these things are paramount...customer care, knowledgeable friendly staff and lots of furniture options at prices we could afford. Omega has a gift for pulling a room together with suggestions, by carefully listening to what your needs are. He even helped us visualize by sketching out floorplans, based on what we saw and liked. What more can a customer ask...we felt valued! Thanks Omega and team at Ashley HomeStore Outlet. I know this review might sound like some Marketing firm wrote it, but in all sincerity, we are just extremely satisfied customers. G & G”
