Sales people are friendly but only because they want to get the commission. Prices seem very high. And big WARNING: THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY RETURNS if you purchase in store. I would still look around and compare prices but DO NOT BUY because they do not take returns.

I ordered a dresser and chair from Ashley Furniture with confirmed weekend delivery. On the morning of delivery, I was told the dresser was out of stock — with no prior notice — and they couldn’t give me a new delivery date. I’m pregnant and only available on weekends, so now I’m delayed another week just days before my due date. Customer service opened a case but offered no real resolution, so I went to the store in person. The manager was dismissive and unhelpful. I asked to have the delivery fee waived for the inconvenience. After pushing for some kind of compensation, I was eventually given a $100 credit and a new weekend delivery date — but it’s still a major inconvenience. I had to ask multiple times just to get a confirmation email. While I was there, another customer was dealing with a similar issue. She wasn’t offered anything and was told her delivery wouldn’t come until June. Clearly, this company is having serious fulfillment and customer service problems. I’ve emailed corporate and am waiting on a response. This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unnecessarily stressful. I won’t be shopping here again.

One of the worst experiences! The associate at the store is absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. We purchased a bed and wanted it delivered and assembled. She said that would not be a problem and set up a delivery date. We paid the extra cost for set and delivery. When the delivery came, the delivery associates just dropped off the boxes and proceeded to leave. I stopped and showed them the receipt stating that I paid for assembly. The delivery person said, this bed doesn't qualify for professional assembly. It's "Customer Assembly" only. No where in the conversation at the store did she mention that this is customer assembly only. I called the associate and she told me that she called my wife to let us know that this item doesn't qualify for assembly. My wife's number or contact information was never submitted to Ashley's so there was no call from her or the store to my wife. The associate then said she is driving at the moment and she would get into an accident if she continues the conversation. Meanwhile the drivers took the bed back on the truck and drove away as I refused to take delivery without set up. When we called customer service and the store, they would just abruptly hang up when I explained my frustrations. I was told the transaction would be fully refunded as they do not have he option to assemble this item. Either they refund delivery and I need to assemble myself or I can get a full refund were my only choices. Horrible experience. Will never trust Ashley Furniture again. The rude attitude and horrible customer service is not worth it. Also upon further research, the same exact bed was available for cheaper at other online retailers.
