Not a good experience, the order was cancel the next day I was told they will not bill my credit card until delivery is complete I purchase on Sept 1, 2025 and cancel the order on Sept 2,2025 and deduct the payment to my credit card on Sept 3, 2025 the delivery are schedule for Sept 20, 2025 . They also added additional charges on my account and charge my credit card for something I did not buy $1536.49 which I’m not aware of this additional charges. Same day I purchased my furniture$4311.48 . They are both taken out on my credit card payment.

Stella!!! Wow, what a personalized experience Stella provided. After visiting a business in the shopping center, I went in to Ashley just to look. Forget it. I left there knowing I was purchasing a massive bedroom set and was open to more, thanks to the help of Stella. She never pressured me and I appreciated that because I just stopped in the look around. I asked for her business card and I returned another day. She was off that day so I came back. I wanted to give Stella my business. I called a week later and asked for her, telling her I decided on a set but wanted to be sure she was in. She gave me her cell phone # so I can text the items I wanted. She was ready for checkout when I arrived. It was the ultimate VIP experience. Stella is so personable and caring; She made me love Ashley Furniture!

We got all kind of help without asking and had wonderful experience

Went to Bob's a few doors down, salesman immediately offered assistance, found a couch I liked within literal seconds. Was getting ready to purchase then thought, hmm Ashley's is right next door maybe I should check them out. Went to Ashley's, young kid offered assistance. Showed me a couch or two then picked up a call without excusing himself. I found a couch I loved - by myself - didn't see a price. Stood around awkwardly waiting for him to get off the phone so I could get the price. Was with my mother, she found the price, it was nearly 3x as much as Bob's and nothing really different aside from cup holders. Not worth $1500+ shipping, tax, assembly. Honestly, would have been a different story if it wasn't for the service. Money ain't no thang. Walked out of the store as the kid was still on his phone. I'm outside the store at this point, and the kid follows my mother and I outside, cuts us off to say, "My bad, I had to take a call." I said it's cool, I'll just be going back to Bob's. He reiterates he had to take a call again and I repeat myself. He then proceeds to not so subtly insult me with, "Oh yeah, you need like a $300 dollar couch, right?" Huh? Trying to project your failure of making a sale onto me is completely unprofessional, and exactly why you failed to make a sale in the first place. I don't need to deal with arrogant salesman to buy a couch. Anyway, my new couch from Bob's is coming tomorrow. Thanks Ashley's for steering me back. Oh also, friend purchased a couch from Ashley's - reportedly had bed bugs in it. Don't know the location it was at but still gross. Avoiding Ashley's from now on. If management cares, I didn't get the name of the kid, my mom stopped me from talking to his manager, but I went on Friday Aug 29th at around 3pm. So whoever the Gen Z kid working that shift was, tell him congratulations on fumbling a $2000 sale, hope the phone call was worth it.

Went to Ashley furmiture on Sunday for the Labor Day Sale. We were greated immediately when we entered the store by Marcelo. We told him what we were looking for, he showed us several items. He gave us plenty of space to look around. He checked on us several tines to see if we had any questions. The experience was easy.

In November, we purchased a table, chairs, and a rug from Ashley Furniture. While the table and chairs were delivered (not on time but eventually) the rug never arrived. Since then, I have attempted to resolve this issue multiple times, visiting the store and speaking with staff. Each time, I was promised a credit or resolution, but nothing has been applied to my account. I even went online and filed a dispute through synchrony the credit card that we took out at the time now synchrony has no record of a dispute ever being filed according to the live chat agent. I am very frustrated with the lack of follow-through and would like to know what steps will be taken to finally resolve this issue. Please advise how we can proceed to receive the promised credit or the rug itself. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Store itself is fine, perfectly kept and clean. The salepeople however, made the experience next to unbearable. Immediately upon entry we're not even given a chance to look around before an associate starts head first into his sales shpeal. Upon telling him we're "just looking" he seems to ignore my response entirely and continue on about deals and departments. After a second more stern "we're just walking around" his expression changes to one of resentment and he goes, "Okay well, Kevin is my name, let me know anything you like," before proceeding to hawk over us for the next 15 minutes shooting daggers with his eyes. Afterwards he sics his associate on us who pesters us an a verbatim fashion. Rinse and repeat twice more and we finally decided to leave after they cornerd us in the mattress section. Don't come here unless you're in the mood to spend money and talk I guess

Greetings, first and foremost., I want to express my disappointment with your furniture. The table was scratched the chairs were missing leg stands not to say how your employees falsely signed off the delivery paperwork without saying anything they left. The delivery worker was upset when I asked where was the extra fixture for the middle table until now I cannot open it.! Terrible service., I was deceived by the seller that I was getting no charge for insurance and it would come free after I realized, and noticed my statement I was actually charged. Would I shop at your furniture store again probably not. Should I contact a attorney ( thinking of doing so ) I have all the evidence saved.

They had to reschedule my initial appointment, When item finally showed up it was defected where they said they couldn’t set up. Then told me it take 7 days for someone to come out. Now we have no bed and items just delivered and left on floor and in boxes in my garage.

Went in to ask a general question, do they offer replacement parts. Lady at the desk just says "what are you talking about?" Did not try to help and gave attitude. Please at least attempt to point customers in the right direction or ask your supervisor if you do not know the answer. This is not the first time my family has had an issue with their service: Our Ashley furniture arrived 5 months after placing an order! Will never buy from Ashley again

I purchased a leather sofa from Ashley, and I couldn't be more pleased. David Lukic was my salesperson, and he was excellent! Although I thought I knew what I wanted, David was nice enough to indulge me when I decided I wanted to explore other options. The delivery went off without a hitch, the delivery people were prompt, showed up when they said they would, respectful of my home, and very nice. I love my new sofa, and I think for the money I got a good deal.

Furniture 4/5, you pay for what you get. Customer service (in store and online) 1/5. My advice, record everything that these ppl say verbally (from the salesperson personal anecdotes to the delivery man). It will change thr minute you have a claim. And when in doubt, DO NOT accept the delivery. Here is the longer version. Like many people, I am learning the hard way of the dishonest selling tactics of Ashley's and their total lack of accountability. I bought a sectional recliner sofa 2 months before moving in with assurance from the saleswoman that if one section did not fit, I could return it. On delivery day, it was obvious that the recliner was too big and I asked the deliveryman to take one section back. He told me that he could NOT take it back but that I had 42 hrs ( he probably meant 72h) to contact customer services and they would schedule a pick up to take it back. He even claimed that was to make sure ppl were happy with their purchase (yes I have a contract but this is a store rep and the same argument the saleswoman gave me. Plus, I wasn't in a position to take it apart and put it back in his truck myself). I showed up at the store the next day and the manager told me he himself had returned a piece of furniture and opened a case number for me..all these ppl were so accommodating in person! Over the phone and via email, however, it is a different story. Mind you, these are the ppl that can actually process your refund. Well the first person would not let me speak and after our call was cut, he was bold enough to call back then hang up on me, the second person kept reciting their policy before giving me a "you have an opened case so bye for now" and the third responding to the open case via email kept it short - it's in your house and "we are not taking it back". My problem is - there should not be two party lines in person vs remote, and if refusing delivery is indeed acceptable, no delivery man should be allowed to even speak of alternative to the customer or claim that they cannot take anything back. Had they said, you need to decline the entire delivery, I would have. It's just too big!! Now, I like my recliner and removing only one sectional would make it perfect. So all I can do for now is complain publicly and fight for them to be accountable and make things right, even though customer care and satisfaction is clearly the least of their concern.

Quick and easy service. Wide variety of furnitures. The associate who helped me was very patient and courteous. His name was Joaquin ( not sure what is the last name). He really made every attempt to accommodate my needs and what I was looking for without being pushy.

We are excited and looking forward to receiving our two new rocker recliner chairs and side table this week. We will definitely return for other furniture choices in the future. Not a good policy in 90 days trial. You will be charge in restocking fee. I got 2 xl twin bed. I was charge $250 each plus tax.No assurance of favoring the customer. Manager don’t have a good consideration and their policy is brutal.I was charge for a stocking fee and did not give the difference of the matress price. Stocking fee should be waived. Their 90 days trial did not work. Ashley office should look at this issue!!! This really matters to all customers.

We were looking for a power lift recliner for my 86 year old mother. Zip was helpful, patient and explained the features of the chairs to us. We had planned to look around, but ended up buying at Ashley due to the good deal and great service.

Absolutely the worst experience Bed was set up with known damage: they covered the damaged wood with black tape. Took hours to reach anyone on the phone. Also made a trip to store. When new parts arrived...new piece damaged and then found additional damaged wood with black tape while removing to replace wood. No real attention until paused the credit card charges.

After looking online I was excited to to go to Ashley's store. Ariana was my customer service employee, she was amazing. Got what I wanted. Easy Peasy.

We will never buy it Ashley again we purchased a dresser that was delivered and not put together and left for us to take apart and put together. Totally uncalled for total unsatisfactory service. Delivery experience has been awful. Tuesday we were told 1 item is back ordered until June 25th. Thursday we were told everything is being delivered May 31st. Today we were told 1 item is still on back order. I have spoken to too many people, been told various things about the delivery. Now the delivery driver went to the wrong location.

I had bought from Ashley in the past. Never had a problem. The experience for Memorial Day sale was the worst. Now don’t get me wrong the sales people were great. Got everything done set up the delivery for Friday the 23 of may. They had the wrong address. They tried to call me but my phone new call go straight to voicemail. I never got the call. They were not willing to come back or even come back the next day I would call ask questions and was lied to. Worst experience I have ever had in my 75 years from a delivery company

Looking for couches today. Sue helped us out today. She was very helpful and non pressuring. Narrowed it down to 2 couches. Sue wanted to make sure we got, what we wanted. Went with the bigger one, payed for it and got home found out it was too big in every configuration we could do. So we picked our second option “cheaper price” . And sue helped us out with no problem and still made sure we got the best discount we could get out of it. She was very helpful, non pressuring, and caring of our kid we had with us. Definitely coming back to Sue if we need more furniture.

Today I came in to purchase a sofa I seen online , which was also in store Sales rep quoted me 1200 dollars over the actual price and told me it because of the insurance Had no knowledge of inventory or current holiday sale . This was not what I expected from a to brand like Ashley Furniture 😞

UPDATE 06.22.25. After working with their customer service team via emails and phone calls I'm please that they have resolved my issue. So I'm updating my review to 4 stars. Although it took some time, they finally made it right for me. So if you do have an issue with them, I would suggest you bring it up and make a fuss and they will work with you. Oh and helps that you write reviews. My previous review is below: Sales people are friendly but only because they want to get the commission. Prices seem very high. And big WARNING: THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY RETURNS if you purchase in store. I would still look around and compare prices but DO NOT BUY because they do not take returns.

I ordered a dresser and chair from Ashley Furniture with confirmed weekend delivery. On the morning of delivery, I was told the dresser was out of stock — with no prior notice — and they couldn’t give me a new delivery date. I’m pregnant and only available on weekends, so now I’m delayed another week just days before my due date. Customer service opened a case but offered no real resolution, so I went to the store in person. The manager was dismissive and unhelpful. I asked to have the delivery fee waived for the inconvenience. After pushing for some kind of compensation, I was eventually given a $100 credit and a new weekend delivery date — but it’s still a major inconvenience. I had to ask multiple times just to get a confirmation email. While I was there, another customer was dealing with a similar issue. She wasn’t offered anything and was told her delivery wouldn’t come until June. Clearly, this company is having serious fulfillment and customer service problems. I’ve emailed corporate and am waiting on a response. This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unnecessarily stressful. I won’t be shopping here again.

I truly enjoy going to Ashley’s Furniture store looking for items to stage my home. I get the best customer service each time I have gone to purchase different merchandise.

One of the worst experiences! The associate at the store is absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. We purchased a bed and wanted it delivered and assembled. She said that would not be a problem and set up a delivery date. We paid the extra cost for set and delivery. When the delivery came, the delivery associates just dropped off the boxes and proceeded to leave. I stopped and showed them the receipt stating that I paid for assembly. The delivery person said, this bed doesn't qualify for professional assembly. It's "Customer Assembly" only. No where in the conversation at the store did she mention that this is customer assembly only. I called the associate and she told me that she called my wife to let us know that this item doesn't qualify for assembly. My wife's number or contact information was never submitted to Ashley's so there was no call from her or the store to my wife. The associate then said she is driving at the moment and she would get into an accident if she continues the conversation. Meanwhile the drivers took the bed back on the truck and drove away as I refused to take delivery without set up. When we called customer service and the store, they would just abruptly hang up when I explained my frustrations. I was told the transaction would be fully refunded as they do not have he option to assemble this item. Either they refund delivery and I need to assemble myself or I can get a full refund were my only choices. Horrible experience. Will never trust Ashley Furniture again. The rude attitude and horrible customer service is not worth it. Also upon further research, the same exact bed was available for cheaper at other online retailers.

I was glad to be assisted by lovely Zarah she was very patient with me when i told her I’m choosing the right dining table and chairs for my modern look dining area. On top of it i never regret getting the tempur pedic mattress, best decision since i had back problems. Zarah and Ashley team gave me the best deals and promos. I can’t wait to shop again for my next sofas and other furniture. Thank you Zarah!! You’re the best. I really recommend Zarah, look for her so you wont miss all the good deals.

First most the sells man charge me for delivery and installation and never inform me second the delivery said 11:30 to 12:30pm and it’s 1:00pm and hasn’t arrived . Horrible ! I tried to even contact the store and it’s even hard to even get ahold of them . Go to living spaces and buy your furniture there . They are accurate on their timing and also don’t sell you things you didn’t agree to .

Delivery of new sofa was scheduled for 2/04. Was not notified, until the day of, that the delivery date has been rescheduled for 2/07. I bought couches over 10 years ago and they were still holding up from the recliners to the motors and even the top tier leather, so I returned to Ashley's furniture for the best product. Samantha Pacheco was top notch with my customer experience , with zero pressure sales. Samantha Pacheco spent a lot of time with me and my wife making sure we would choose the furniture we wanted, she took us trough the whole floor and even in the discount room of furniture. I bought a beautiful couch recliner with heat and massager built into the couch with headrest recliner and led lights with wireless phone charger and USB with top tier leather. We purchased a coffee table and a dresser, the dresser has stainless steel roller bearing slides so you don't need to worry about over loading the drawers these are life time slides. The massager in the couch is so amazing. Thank you Samantha Pacheco for excellent customer service and excellent pricing. I went to the long Beach town center location for Ashley's furniture, I would definitely request for her Samantha she made sure we bought the furniture we wanted. We also went next door to the competitors store and the furniture was not built to last and more expensive. Thank you Ashley's furniture and thank you Samantha we will be coming back for are dining table soon. I added the photos of this amazing couch unbelievable perfect build . The dresser and coffee table are beautiful. I forgot to mention the center couch seat folds down with two more cup holders and adjustable reading lights and arm rests fold up , they are top lids to compartments to store your remotes.

The only reason I’m giving one star review is because of Rafael who was the person helping us and he did an amazing job at selling. However, I would give this store and Ashley as a whole, a bad review and negative stars due to their lack of professionalism and their lack of communication once someone has purchased an item. It has been over a month and I have not yet received any of my furniture. I called the store And no one could seem to help. The customer service line are no use as they don’t seem to help as they only reroute you to another person who is less knowledgeable of what it is that you’re inquiring. It has been now a month and I have gotten a bill for nothing that I have received yet. It is starting to say that I have gone into this new year and into the holidays with no furniture, but a bill.

At this point, they’ve pushed back the delivery date TWICE without any reassurance of when our paid couches will actually arrive. The day I walked in I was immediately approached by a wonderful young lady named Samantha. She helped me very quickly. She was very efficient and straight to the point. The attendant didn't want assist me with getting the item i wanted and researched online for my small space. She keep showing me other options far too large and didn't want to tell me the option I wanted wouldn't be delivered until December. She was just trying to sell whatever was on the floor.

Did not have a good experience, called into the store, was told i had to come in to place my online order since the item was not in stock, did not get a the matched price i wanted even though other websites are getting the items directly from Ashleys Furniture which made no sense, was told nothing was backordered and that it would get to me quickly, and that was definitely not the case. When walking into the store, asked for the person who helped me over the phone, everyone in the front were just talking and did not want to assist me, had to force someone to ring me up and they just told me to wait. Brand new couch was damaged when it was delivered. I was told I had 72 hours to inspect the couch, which I did, and reported the damage within the 72 hours, but Ashley would not replace the damaged couch section, only send a technician to fix it. When the technician and part came, not only did he not fix it right, he damaged a different part of the couch. Ashley's response? We'll send a technician out to fix what the previous technician messed up. So much for my brand new couch. Ashley is a fraudulent company and nobody should buy a couch from them. Buyer beware!

This store sucks butty. I purchased a sofa and dinette set and it’s been nothing but hell from day 1. Damaged goods from day one. The sofa was switched out but the dinette set has been nothing but trash. I’ve had six scheduled appointments 2 in which were no shows which include the first initial delivery and they keep sending me a damaged set. The manager Ron finally agrees to take the charges off my account and come pick up the dinette set and he re we are nothing has been taken off my charge card and I still have the price of trash still sitting in my kitchen taking up space. Never again will I shop at Ashley furniture. It’s nothing but trash and it seems like the employees are worse than the furniture. So disgusted with the service and quality of the employees and the furniture

Adolfo did a great job helping us find the perfect furniture! Great service. They had one error which was the delivery address was my mom's house and when they emailed the address to confirm it was the billing address which we my house. We happened to have a truck so they put it in our truck and we delivered it. In the end it all worked out very well.

The customer service in the store was great but delivery has been a nightmare. I have had a damaged couch delivered to me twice. In each case the leather sofa has had a cut through the leather. I have tried calling to talk to someone but I only get an automated system that routes me to a call service that cannot help. I can't reach the store. The furniture looks nice so we'll see if third time is the charm for delivery. Update: I received an undamaged couch on the 3rd delivery. It's comfortable and looks great.

I do not recommend the Long Beach location. I am not speaking on every Ashley Furniture store. I purchased over 8k in items. When I called to confirm my delivery date, I was told my delivery date change due to items not in stock which is not what I was originally told. I was given different information from my original purchased date. While attempting to ask one additional question, Representative (Justin) hung up the phone. I called the store to speak with a manager (Anthony) who repeated the same information but did not ask questions or ask for details when I stated one of the representatives hung up the phone while I was still speaking. I understand that a manager will protect his employees but at least pretend to care for the customer. Ultimately better communication and better customer service from the store and its employees would have helped.

Ben Lopez helped my husband and I find our furniture here, and he was amazing. Literally took the time to show us everything we needed and to further show us all of the options financially. He was very honest and financially conscious as we expressed that we had a small budget. Great customer service!!! And as a bonus, the furniture quality was soooo much better than IKEA and Living Space in terms of couches. If you need a more affordable option and want quality so you can soak into a nice and cozy cushion after work, this is the place to shop.

We bought the two piece leather sofa set from Ashley & there was a gap between two seats in one sofa & we complained after an hour of delivery. Two people came to inspect & said they can not repair & it is manufacturer’s defect but they cannot exchange or take it back. It’s ridiculous that if they cannot repair , they should exchange it but no, they refused to do anything. We are very very upset with the service of the Ashley management. I would not recommend anyone to buy from them as the service is bad & the product delivered is bad too.

Don’t buy anything from them they are a fraud i paid 1800$ for a sofa and bought 200$ 5 year warranty, the sofa broke and they say it is not covered under warranty, they use 3rd party warranty companies which use 3rd party companies for parts, they will put you on 1 hour hold they will make your life miserable don’t do any business with them ever.

We had the up most best experience at Ashely Furniture Store in Carson. Please, if you are indecisive, look no further and stop at Ashley’s! We were greeted by wonderful Donna and right away she advised and let us she would be the one assisting us. She showed us how the prices are listed and told us how the showroom was arranged. And off went to find our dream bedroom set without being followed or pressured. if we had questions she not far away. Donna was very knowledgeable about the the furniture and mattress. We were only going in the furniture but really need a mattress. She took us to mattress section and i learned so much on how important a mattress is to our health, it would be senseless to buy furniture without a benefit to our health. Donna was so patience and calm, it never felt like she was trying to make a sale. I’m so thankful for her and Chris! Chris thank you for adjusting a small error on the final receipt and being very friendly. Please just stop and ask for Donna, you won’t retreat it. Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable:)

Walk into Ashley’s on Sunday in search for a new couch. Immediately greeted and ask what I was looking for by Rafi. Very helpful and knowledgeable about products there. He showed me multiple options to ensure I was getting the right couch. A wonderful and easy experience here. I would definitely recommend this location and hopefully Rafi is there to assist.

We purchased 2 recliners from Ashley Furniture in 2022. They came out and put in more stuffing once. We purchased also extended warranty! But stuffing not covered. They don't care and will charge me to come out. Won't ever be buying from them again. 😕 not a great way to bring customers back. Also purchased tables, end table and other stuff from Ashley furniture! I'm done.

I made a purchase in March for bunk beds. Ever since, we have had to deal with the store, the online representatives, and with the technicians. They're all terrible. On the delivery day, the technician was ignoring my instructions and calls. Did whatever was best for him. Moreover, he and his partner did a terrible job in building the beds. Inclusive, it was so horrible they broke part of the bed and a lot of the screws were missing. The bed was absolutely UNSAFE for our kids. They were scared they'd fall, hence, they didn't use them. Then, we submitted a case with the store, but nobody contacted us. Chris wasn't helpful either and the store manager was never in the picture. Terrible, and when I tried speaking to the sales associate, Ben Lopez, he yet to this day, has never contacted me to help us out. In addition to his absence, he sold me a an extremely cheap material bunk bed. He bragged it was the best wood material they had, yet it is cheap and flimsy. Terrible recommendation on behalf of Ben, Individuals like Chris, Ben and everyone else involved have terrible customer service, they're ignorant, rude, disrespectful, incompetent and liars. I had my order placed in March, delivered first Saturday of April and after multiple appointments, technicians, store sending incompetent technicians, and all; the bunk beds were just "fixed" this past Tuesday July 30th, 2024. It took FOUR months for Ashelys to take care of it. The only reason they took action is because I personally had to go in the store to file a complaint twice. I had to deal with Chris, again, not once did a the store manager show any concern. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. Definitely disappointing that leads me to never wanting business with Ashley's furniture ever again, Definitely seeking and looking forward to close my account with them.

If your shopping go to Ben Lopez. Not going to lie, I'm usually the type to avoid sale workers in a store and I did just thatI when I first came in looking for a couch. However when I had a question it happened to be Ben that I asked and he was genuinely so kind AND helpful. The couch I came in to look at ended up not working out but he helped me find an even better one without being pushy. Let me look around and debate options while happily getting me any info I asked for. It's funny that buying a couch ended up being such a good experience but it truly was and when I need more fruniture I'll be coming back to Ashley's as long as he's there.
