The way I was treated at this store by the Manager & By judgement on How I Look asking for extra proof of My Identity like if My face didn't match my Identification Card or my Personal Information didn't match My Credit Lines! Only because the lady Liliana Silva was ok but her Manager practically asked for my whole wallet to Check me out on the stuff I was there for. Won't be no next time I'll make sure to stay Where I Regularly purchase from Only because I was in the area,Never again I'll make sure to take my business some where else!!!! At Least Hawthorne don't discriminate!!!!

The store is very clean and organized, the salespeople are not hounding you. Kevin is an amazing salesman, he is very knowledgeable of the furniture sizing, they have a really cool couch piece simulator that really makes your vision clear and he was also very knowledgeable of the home trends to help you keep an open mind especially if you like me was fixated on a specific color. He was very personable, had great patience and made my unexpected shopping trip very pleasant! They have plenty of payment options as well. My delivery comes in 3 days! So excited.. when you go to Ashley ask for Kevin!

As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Sylvia Bernal. Who was very polite and knowledgeable. I explained the situation I was having with my knee being bone on bone and I needed a good chair that I can feel comfortable in after my surgery. She showed me a few chairs and I sat in them and one was a lift chair unfortunately I couldn’t use that one. She showed me another one That was a recliner and had power control with it. She allowed me to use the remote to show me the different things the Chair came with. I sat there for a while using the remote and it just felt so good. She was so kind and warm speaking with me. We went over the price. We went over the delivery date and she walked me through on how someone would be Reaching out with the date and time that they’ll be arriving. She explained the disposal of the chair that I have in my home now And let me know that that gentleman would be reaching out to me. Which he already has and he’ll be giving me more of a window as it gets. As I said, I have to give her a five star For how she helped me through everything.

I’m giving one star because I can’t go lower. I purchased a bed and set the delivery for one week later, the day before delivery was cancelled and no explanation offered. Rescheduled for another day at their convenience. Customer service indifferent and set on their story…. There’s nothing we can do. They will it escalate the call to a Manager even when asked, offering you a 10% discount….. I will never shop with them again period. Save yourself the headache and shop with a better store.

Worst furniture experience. They are almost as bad if not worse than car sales men. They promise you delivery by certain dates and now waiting over 24 days and have not received our complete furniture set. Also a few of the pieces we did recieve, came damaged and they dont want to replace them.

We bought a mattress and boxed spring. Faye was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the product she is selling and our needs. She was also very professional and patient.When we arrived home we noticed that we were charged for recycling when we were not having anything recycled. I called the store and they stated that there was a mistake made but stated it would take 7 to 10 days to correct the situation. This issue should be corrected immediately because its a service we are not receiving!!

Our salesman Joaquin was an absolute delight and found us the best deal!!!

This was our 1st time to Ashley. We purchased around $6,500 and our understanding was we had 30 day to make an adjustment. We wanted to return a $300 and told all sales are final at delivery. Anyway we put the piece at the curb and someone took it. Thanks for showing how to lose $6,500 customer over confusion of a $300 item. Never going back to Ashley.

From the moment we walked into the Ashley Furniture store—about 20 minutes before closing—Patty greeted my son and me warmly and asked if we needed help. She wasn’t pushy at all and didn’t try to rush us into anything; it felt more like a genuine offer to guide us if we had questions. We didn’t even ask for assistance right away. When my son eventually had a question, Patty stepped in and was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She helped us choose a dining room table and chairs, and we were able to schedule delivery just three days later. Afterward, we changed our minds about the color scheme, which unfortunately meant the table and chairs wouldn’t be available until two days later than originally planned. Despite this, Patty was incredibly patient and went above and beyond. On her days off, she personally called to see if she could still get the furniture delivered on the originally promised Friday. She didn’t have to do that at all, yet she made a point to call me directly from her personal cell phone and keep me updated every step of the way. In the end, she managed to have the furniture delivered even earlier than expected—on Thursday, which was the one day earlier than the original quoted date. I was extremely happy and impressed with her level of service, communication, and dedication. I went into the Long Beach with my finance and I was immediately greeted by Zahra. What an amazing experience. She is knowledgeable, sweet, accommodating. She definitely deserves a raise or promotion.

Ashley Furniture delivered bedroom set for my sister in November 2025 and damaged her walls while carrying the furniture upstairs. I filed a claim and provided documentation. Months later, the damage has still not been repaired, and I have been repeatedly given the runaround. When I requested to speak to a manager, the representative refused to escalate my call, which is completely unacceptable. I have spent more time chasing a resolution than Ashley has spent taking responsibility for damage caused by their delivery team. If something goes wrong with your order, be prepared to fight for accountability. Also make sure that you read what you are signing, the delivery team provided a tablet for signature and said that it was a statement that the delivery was complete, now they are saying that what we signed was a waiver, this is completely false and dishonest. Be Aware! I would not recommend Ashley Furniture based on this experience.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Ashley’s Furniture – Long Beach Towne Center. We placed an order on December 7th with delivery scheduled for January 13th. The delivery date came and went with no delivery, no call, no email — nothing. When I contacted customer service, I was stunned to be told that our order had been canceled without our knowledge or consent. The store could not provide any explanation for why the order was canceled. Instead, we were asked to come in and were offered a $50 discount to reorder, as if that would make up for the wasted time, inconvenience, and complete lack of professionalism. To make things even worse, the store manager was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, showing zero concern for customer service or accountability. Canceling a paid order without notifying the customer is completely unacceptable. The way this situation was handled shows a serious breakdown in communication and leadership. Based on this experience, I would strongly not recommend this location to anyone.

I had a lot of problems with my purchase I was there for hours prices kept being changed , didn’t want me to use my financing asked if I could pay half with another form of payment and then they called me the day before to back order something 5 days away . Not worthy of 5 stars

The sales girl Zahra was extremely professional and assured us all would be ok. I would in customer service and am a manager. I do now what good customer service is! Wow, she really made me an Ashley customer for life now!

DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY. Buy your furniture and move on. I purchased a table and four chairs. The table arrived with a small chip on the folding edge—not very noticeable, so I let it go. However, one of the chairs arrived cracked on the back support, which is part of the back legs, not the front legs. That’s when the real problem started: Ashley’s warranty department is completely incompetent. Their system would not allow me to upload photos due to a 1MB size limit, so I had to contact support and send photos by email instead. The photos clearly showed damage on the back legs/back support assembly, not the front legs. Despite being assured multiple times that the issue was handled, I kept receiving automated emails asking me to upload photos (not videos—I never uploaded any videos). After three days of nonstop emails, I called to check the status. I was then told that replacement FRONT legs were being processed. To be absolutely clear: the damage was on the BACK legs, which include the attached back support of the chair. I was told someone would call me back. No call ever came. Instead, the wrong parts were shipped anyway. At that point, enough was enough. I requested a refund for the warranty. Save yourself the headache: do not buy the warranty. Ashley Furniture’s warranty process is broken, disorganized, and a complete waste of time. I will update if they will refund my warranty and if they will finally send me the right parts,…. or i will refund everything altogether. (They already pushed some buttons that made me request warranty refund)

I needed to purchase a comfortable but a reasonably priced Sofa. After doing some online research, I liked some at Ashley. Went and was greeted by a very nice lady Patty , must say a very good sales person, she was very patient, gave us some good time and advice on different ones. Finally bought one , happy with the service and purchase . Will surely do so in future too.

I had been reviewing the Ashley website for some time before I decided to make a trip out to a store on Carson Blvd. I just wanted to purchase a reclining dual powered love seat sofa. Mr. Zi Yi Wang immediately approached me when I entered the store, and he provided me excellent support and service during my visit. The payment process and scheduling of delivery was a breeze and I was out of the store in about 1/2 hour. The delivery men arrived today well within the scheduled window, and promptly assembled the sofa. I was then able to verify that all the reclining features were operable. The sofa looks great in my living room...little doggie is already making himself comfortable on one of the seats :o) Stellar experience all around...I highly recommend this store to all.

Always happy with the multiple options to make changes in my home. I have not received my new pieces of furniture, but I know they will meet my expectations.

I ordered a sofa set and a throw blanket. The sofa was delivered along with the throw. I had no issues with the sofa, but the throw had a hole in it unbeknownst to me and it just kept getting bigger, with additional holes. I called to file a claim. Filled out the claim online and submitted pictures with all the holes. Their response was that they did not find anything wrong with the product, basically. So I called the store, no answer, called again no answer so I had to speak to a customer service agent. At this point, I wanted a refund. The agent said I would have to be home for the item to be picked up on a certain date. She never explained to me why I couldn't just drop it off at the store. I called the store they picked up, left me on hold, picked up again and just hung up on me, therefore I didn't speak to anyone. Now I am stuck with this blanket that has holes all over it, and no one at the store to talk to on the phone. I would not shop here again with this type of service. If I had known this is the type of service they provide, I would have never bought the sofas from here because I can just imagine how hard it's going to be to file any claim!

Stay away from this store. Ordered items from here back in September and still have not received. Said they would be delivered October got pushed back November. Got a call again and it got pushed back to December. Now I just got 2 calls in the span of 3 day, first it got pushed back to January then a couple days later they are now telling me February. If you want your item do be delivered when said STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY. If you want it 2 - eventually order from this store. Edit: sent a response to this "support email" and got nothing. So your customer services online is lacking as well 🤔

I visited this store looking for a a specific sofa that was being advertised on tv. The sales associate "Ben Lopez" said he would help me but then immediately after tried to up sale me to a more expensive model. He told me that the commerical I saw regarding the special for the couch I was looking for had nothing to do with the brick and mortar stores. My intentions were to pay for the couch with my credit card because I'm not to experienced dealing with financing products.i was in a coma for 7 years so I'd don't like the idea of having to make payments. Mr. Lopez never told me he was going to run my credit he just asked for my credit card and my social security number. At the time I wasn't aware that he was going to run my credit. So I gave him the information he was asking for. Towards the end of the sale he started mentioning my payments would be 10$ a month for 6 months and it would be paid off. After speaking with my family who have businesses that use the same financing (synchrony) they told me that was not true. If I did not pay the whole amount by 6 months I would owe 30+% of the total purchase amount. I feel as if I was lied and pressured into this sale. I would be very careful working with these sales associates.

Horrible!!! I have been a loyal customer for years. Last month, I went and purchased a TempurPedic. I specifically told the salesman I wanted a medium mattress, that a couple of years ago I purchased a medium for my mother and I wanted the same one. Well, they delivered a firm mattress. Three weeks later, I am still have a horrible experience trying to get them to correct their mistake. I have had a horrible experience, from the salesperson to the automatic deliver system they use sending me conflicting text messages regarding the delivery dates to the current customer service experience. RUN, DO NOT buy from this store. I wish I had never bought this expensive mattress from them. I have had to call their service center at least 5 times and emailed them another 3-4 times to no avail. I really am not one to leave a bad review but this traumatic experience has compelled me to have to do this. The customer care team has been giving me the runaround for 3 weeks now. I initially called and reported this mistake the day after it was delivered, on 11/1/25 and 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for a call back from a manager.

Salesperson Kyle was quite nice. I knew exactly what i wanted from the Ashley website. I purchased a queen size bedframe and the matching nightstand. I was told they “price match”with their website, however I was charged the higher price. I tried calling the phone number Kyle had written on a card, just in case i had ANY questions or problems. The number was bogus! I called customer service directly and was credited the difference in prices of the nightstand. I was informed that for an additional $80, i would get “white glove” delivery and assembly. Kyle informed me that the only drawback to this is once the furniture is assembled, there is no returning it. I agreed to pay the extra $80 because i knew that was a bigger job than my husband and I could handle. When my delivery was made this morning, one of the crew asked me, “Now you are aware this is an unassembled unit?” I said, “Yes, but i paid the extra $80 for the “white glove” delivery and assembly.” He told me they don’t assemble, they just deliver! I accepted the delivery, in boxes, and again got hold of a customer service rep. I have requested the refund of my $80 and was told this could take up to three days to happen. So at this point, I have a wooden platform bed frame in a box that can’t be used until I can find somebody to put it together. I do not suggest ever buying anything from Ashley. They will promise the customer the moon (at an additional expense!) but you never know what you’ll get, or not get!!

Zero stars. It’s hilarious to me, that as I walked into the store, the sales reps were bad mouthing Bobs discount furniture, but I guarantee Bobs wouldn’t have done half as terrible a job getting me my items. I spent over 3k on bar stools, bed frame, and dresser. Not cheap. All based on the delivery timeline they promised. Not only did they not meet that timeline (a week late after multiple false confirmations through some AI chat bot and two days missed of work to do be on site) but they delivered the bed broken. Put it together. And left it in the middle of my room stating a technician would have to help me. Technician was only available 4 days later. I’d had enough and demanded they take back the item. 4 days later, they did, and charged me 450 dollars for delivery fees. 450 dollars off my reimbursement. This organization is a joke. Their customer service is a joke. Their product is a joke. And the time they’ve made me waste for literally nothing in return, is pretty valuable to a single dad with 2 kids. If I could give you all zero stars I would. And as a follow up to your comment back…In true Ashley form, haven’t heard a word, and likely will not. Or it’ll come a week late and useless.

Extremely disappointing experience. I purchased furniture from the Ashley Store at 7410 Carson Blvd, Long Beach, CA, and the delivery was a nightmare. The items arrived damaged, and the delivery team even damaged my wall while attempting to bring them in. Despite numerous calls, texts, and follow-ups, it took a long time before anyone came out to evaluate the damage — and only after persistent effort did they finally agree to replace the item. When I tried to escalate the issue, Chris (the supervisor) was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional — he repeatedly interrupted me, raised his voice, and told me the general manager was “too busy” to speak with me. After this experience, I will never shop here again. I truly hope they resolve this matter properly, but the lack of customer service and accountability has been incredibly frustrating.

Worst Experience ever! I went to the store employee Joaquin placed my order wrong. I have health conditions the whole point was to get this prior surgery since September 21 2025 my order has been delivered twice now they submitted a claim to fix it I got a text confirmation I will have correct orders today. I called to confirm and once again they failed stated my order was backed order!! This is frustrating and Supervisors are no help I guess I have to go in crippled and on my cane in the store!

Polite employees however when I went in to the store I knew exactly what I was looking for and employee was very nice ,sold me an item very quickly, But absolutely never said my item was going to take a month to ship !! I had to call the store and speak to the person who sold me the item and asked what's going on ??? No one ever reached out to me to communicate how long it was going to take !!! I would not recommend buying anything from Ashley. I just bought a set of recliners. After purchasing the recliners, the salesman told us not to worry about anything, and if we had any questions or issues, to call his cell, and he would take care of it (a typical selling point). After delivery of the items, the recliner buttons were mismatched. The delivery guy called customer service, and they told me not to worry, that they would take care of it, and to go ahead and accept the delivery. I, being dumb, did accept it, and since the delivery, I can't get a hold of anyone at the store, customer service, or the salesman to replace it. Do not buy from this place. BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have never been fortunate enough to afford brand new furniture until recently. I went in to the store and found a dinning room server, two nightstands and a bookcase that I liked. I asked if they had a matching bed frame that did not have fabric on the footboard and side boards because we have dogs… the sales rep Ziyi wang then took me to another area of the sales floor and showed me a bed frame that looked very similar in color and said it would match so I agree to add it to the order. While Ziyi was adding in to our order on his tablet I noticed that it said “dark drown” and looked much darker in the photo on his tablet than it did on the sales floor so I told him that I believed he added the wrong one on our order because all of my other furniture was described as “Brown” not “Dark Brown”…. He then lied to me and told me that the photos online are AI generated but it would not be that dark and it would match my set. I later discovered from another Ashley furniture employee that the photos are not in fact AI generated and when it was delivered it was so dark it didn’t look cohesive with my other furniture at all. Also the side panel rail was water damaged, one nightstand had a crack underneath that someone in the factory tried to glue back together, three of my bookcase shelves were damaged as well. I spent hours trying to submit tickets and get responses from customer service. I finally got them to agree to send a technician out… they offered me three dates so I picked the first available date… I had to stay home from work to accommodate the visit only for the technician not to show. I called Customer service and they said that the visit was rescheduled without any notification of this change being sent to me… they rescheduled for the very next day thankfully… but before ending the call I asked if the technician visiting my home would be taking my bed frame with him when he left since it needs to be returned and is taking up a lot of space and the rep said “YES”. The technician that came the next day was the first helpful person during this awful experience. He told me unfortunately that he is not allowed to take return furniture and he apologized for the Customer service agent who misinformed me. I purchased the furniture on 8/24/25 and I’m being told I will not get my replacement/return taken care of until 9/23/25… the amount of time spent trying to navigate the customer service and get what I paid for has been a waste of my life. I will never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again and I will never recommend them to anyone. The customer service agents are not properly trained on the logistics of the business and the sales people lie to your face to earn their commission.

First of all sales guy Rafael Morales was very hard to communicate with, when discussing haul away old sofa, a super rude woman named Arianna butted in how she has never heard of that, mocking me! I said Bobs hauls away 150.00! Well I did buy sofa, no show room display, gosh hope I like it! No returns they stated!

Not a good experience, the order was cancel the next day I was told they will not bill my credit card until delivery is complete I purchase on Sept 1, 2025 and cancel the order on Sept 2,2025 and deduct the payment to my credit card on Sept 3, 2025 the delivery are schedule for Sept 20, 2025 . They also added additional charges on my account and charge my credit card for something I did not buy $1536.49 which I’m not aware of this additional charges. Same day I purchased my furniture$4311.48 . They are both taken out on my credit card payment.

Stella!!! Wow, what a personalized experience Stella provided. After visiting a business in the shopping center, I went in to Ashley just to look. Forget it. I left there knowing I was purchasing a massive bedroom set and was open to more, thanks to the help of Stella. She never pressured me and I appreciated that because I just stopped in the look around. I asked for her business card and I returned another day. She was off that day so I came back. I wanted to give Stella my business. I called a week later and asked for her, telling her I decided on a set but wanted to be sure she was in. She gave me her cell phone # so I can text the items I wanted. She was ready for checkout when I arrived. It was the ultimate VIP experience. Stella is so personable and caring; She made me love Ashley Furniture!

Went to Bob's a few doors down, salesman immediately offered assistance, found a couch I liked within literal seconds. Was getting ready to purchase then thought, hmm Ashley's is right next door maybe I should check them out. Went to Ashley's, young kid offered assistance. Showed me a couch or two then picked up a call without excusing himself. I found a couch I loved - by myself - didn't see a price. Stood around awkwardly waiting for him to get off the phone so I could get the price. Was with my mother, she found the price, it was nearly 3x as much as Bob's and nothing really different aside from cup holders. Not worth $1500+ shipping, tax, assembly. Honestly, would have been a different story if it wasn't for the service. Money ain't no thang. Walked out of the store as the kid was still on his phone. I'm outside the store at this point, and the kid follows my mother and I outside, cuts us off to say, "My bad, I had to take a call." I said it's cool, I'll just be going back to Bob's. He reiterates he had to take a call again and I repeat myself. He then proceeds to not so subtly insult me with, "Oh yeah, you need like a $300 dollar couch, right?" Huh? Trying to project your failure of making a sale onto me is completely unprofessional, and exactly why you failed to make a sale in the first place. I don't need to deal with arrogant salesman to buy a couch. Anyway, my new couch from Bob's is coming tomorrow. Thanks Ashley's for steering me back. Oh also, friend purchased a couch from Ashley's - reportedly had bed bugs in it. Don't know the location it was at but still gross. Avoiding Ashley's from now on. If management cares, I didn't get the name of the kid, my mom stopped me from talking to his manager, but I went on Friday Aug 29th at around 3pm. So whoever the Gen Z kid working that shift was, tell him congratulations on fumbling a $2000 sale, hope the phone call was worth it.

Went to Ashley furmiture on Sunday for the Labor Day Sale. We were greated immediately when we entered the store by Marcelo. We told him what we were looking for, he showed us several items. He gave us plenty of space to look around. He checked on us several tines to see if we had any questions. The experience was easy.

In November, we purchased a table, chairs, and a rug from Ashley Furniture. While the table and chairs were delivered (not on time but eventually) the rug never arrived. Since then, I have attempted to resolve this issue multiple times, visiting the store and speaking with staff. Each time, I was promised a credit or resolution, but nothing has been applied to my account. I even went online and filed a dispute through synchrony the credit card that we took out at the time now synchrony has no record of a dispute ever being filed according to the live chat agent. I am very frustrated with the lack of follow-through and would like to know what steps will be taken to finally resolve this issue. Please advise how we can proceed to receive the promised credit or the rug itself. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Store itself is fine, perfectly kept and clean. The salepeople however, made the experience next to unbearable. Immediately upon entry we're not even given a chance to look around before an associate starts head first into his sales shpeal. Upon telling him we're "just looking" he seems to ignore my response entirely and continue on about deals and departments. After a second more stern "we're just walking around" his expression changes to one of resentment and he goes, "Okay well, Kevin is my name, let me know anything you like," before proceeding to hawk over us for the next 15 minutes shooting daggers with his eyes. Afterwards he sics his associate on us who pesters us an a verbatim fashion. Rinse and repeat twice more and we finally decided to leave after they cornerd us in the mattress section. Don't come here unless you're in the mood to spend money and talk I guess

Greetings, first and foremost., I want to express my disappointment with your furniture. The table was scratched the chairs were missing leg stands not to say how your employees falsely signed off the delivery paperwork without saying anything they left. The delivery worker was upset when I asked where was the extra fixture for the middle table until now I cannot open it.! Terrible service., I was deceived by the seller that I was getting no charge for insurance and it would come free after I realized, and noticed my statement I was actually charged. Would I shop at your furniture store again probably not. Should I contact a attorney ( thinking of doing so ) I have all the evidence saved.

Went in to ask a general question, do they offer replacement parts. Lady at the desk just says "what are you talking about?" Did not try to help and gave attitude. Please at least attempt to point customers in the right direction or ask your supervisor if you do not know the answer. Furniture 4/5, you pay for what you get. Customer service (in store and online) 1/5. My advice, record everything that these ppl say verbally (from the salesperson personal anecdotes to the delivery man). It will change thr minute you have a claim. And when in doubt, DO NOT accept the delivery. Here is the longer version. Like many people, I am learning the hard way of the dishonest selling tactics of Ashley's and their total lack of accountability. I bought a sectional recliner sofa 2 months before moving in with assurance from the saleswoman that if one section did not fit, I could return it. On delivery day, it was obvious that the recliner was too big and I asked the deliveryman to take one section back. He told me that he could NOT take it back but that I had 42 hrs ( he probably meant 72h) to contact customer services and they would schedule a pick up to take it back. He even claimed that was to make sure ppl were happy with their purchase (yes I have a contract but this is a store rep and the same argument the saleswoman gave me. Plus, I wasn't in a position to take it apart and put it back in his truck myself). I showed up at the store the next day and the manager told me he himself had returned a piece of furniture and opened a case number for me..all these ppl were so accommodating in person! Over the phone and via email, however, it is a different story. Mind you, these are the ppl that can actually process your refund. Well the first person would not let me speak and after our call was cut, he was bold enough to call back then hang up on me, the second person kept reciting their policy before giving me a "you have an opened case so bye for now" and the third responding to the open case via email kept it short - it's in your house and "we are not taking it back". My problem is - there should not be two party lines in person vs remote, and if refusing delivery is indeed acceptable, no delivery man should be allowed to even speak of alternative to the customer or claim that they cannot take anything back. Had they said, you need to decline the entire delivery, I would have. It's just too big!! Now, I like my recliner and removing only one sectional would make it perfect. So all I can do for now is complain publicly and fight for them to be accountable and make things right, even though customer care and satisfaction is clearly the least of their concern.

Quick and easy service. Wide variety of furnitures. The associate who helped me was very patient and courteous. His name was Joaquin ( not sure what is the last name). He really made every attempt to accommodate my needs and what I was looking for without being pushy.

Not a good policy in 90 days trial. You will be charge in restocking fee. I got 2 xl twin bed. I was charge $250 each plus tax.No assurance of favoring the customer. Manager don’t have a good consideration and their policy is brutal.I was charge for a stocking fee and did not give the difference of the matress price. Stocking fee should be waived. Their 90 days trial did not work. Ashley office should look at this issue!!! This really matters to all customers.

We were looking for a power lift recliner for my 86 year old mother. Zip was helpful, patient and explained the features of the chairs to us. We had planned to look around, but ended up buying at Ashley due to the good deal and great service.

Absolutely the worst experience Bed was set up with known damage: they covered the damaged wood with black tape. Took hours to reach anyone on the phone. Also made a trip to store. When new parts arrived...new piece damaged and then found additional damaged wood with black tape while removing to replace wood. No real attention until paused the credit card charges.

After looking online I was excited to to go to Ashley's store. Ariana was my customer service employee, she was amazing. Got what I wanted. Easy Peasy.

Delivery experience has been awful. Tuesday we were told 1 item is back ordered until June 25th. Thursday we were told everything is being delivered May 31st. Today we were told 1 item is still on back order. I have spoken to too many people, been told various things about the delivery. Now the delivery driver went to the wrong location.

I had bought from Ashley in the past. Never had a problem. The experience for Memorial Day sale was the worst. Now don’t get me wrong the sales people were great. Got everything done set up the delivery for Friday the 23 of may. They had the wrong address. They tried to call me but my phone new call go straight to voicemail. I never got the call. They were not willing to come back or even come back the next day I would call ask questions and was lied to. Worst experience I have ever had in my 75 years from a delivery company

Looking for couches today. Sue helped us out today. She was very helpful and non pressuring. Narrowed it down to 2 couches. Sue wanted to make sure we got, what we wanted. Went with the bigger one, payed for it and got home found out it was too big in every configuration we could do. So we picked our second option “cheaper price” . And sue helped us out with no problem and still made sure we got the best discount we could get out of it. She was very helpful, non pressuring, and caring of our kid we had with us. Definitely coming back to Sue if we need more furniture.

UPDATE 06.22.25. After working with their customer service team via emails and phone calls I'm please that they have resolved my issue. So I'm updating my review to 4 stars. Although it took some time, they finally made it right for me. So if you do have an issue with them, I would suggest you bring it up and make a fuss and they will work with you. Oh and helps that you write reviews. My previous review is below: Sales people are friendly but only because they want to get the commission. Prices seem very high. And big WARNING: THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY RETURNS if you purchase in store. I would still look around and compare prices but DO NOT BUY because they do not take returns.

I ordered a dresser and chair from Ashley Furniture with confirmed weekend delivery. On the morning of delivery, I was told the dresser was out of stock — with no prior notice — and they couldn’t give me a new delivery date. I’m pregnant and only available on weekends, so now I’m delayed another week just days before my due date. Customer service opened a case but offered no real resolution, so I went to the store in person. The manager was dismissive and unhelpful. I asked to have the delivery fee waived for the inconvenience. After pushing for some kind of compensation, I was eventually given a $100 credit and a new weekend delivery date — but it’s still a major inconvenience. I had to ask multiple times just to get a confirmation email. While I was there, another customer was dealing with a similar issue. She wasn’t offered anything and was told her delivery wouldn’t come until June. Clearly, this company is having serious fulfillment and customer service problems. I’ve emailed corporate and am waiting on a response. This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unnecessarily stressful. I won’t be shopping here again.

I truly enjoy going to Ashley’s Furniture store looking for items to stage my home. I get the best customer service each time I have gone to purchase different merchandise.

One of the worst experiences! The associate at the store is absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. We purchased a bed and wanted it delivered and assembled. She said that would not be a problem and set up a delivery date. We paid the extra cost for set and delivery. When the delivery came, the delivery associates just dropped off the boxes and proceeded to leave. I stopped and showed them the receipt stating that I paid for assembly. The delivery person said, this bed doesn't qualify for professional assembly. It's "Customer Assembly" only. No where in the conversation at the store did she mention that this is customer assembly only. I called the associate and she told me that she called my wife to let us know that this item doesn't qualify for assembly. My wife's number or contact information was never submitted to Ashley's so there was no call from her or the store to my wife. The associate then said she is driving at the moment and she would get into an accident if she continues the conversation. Meanwhile the drivers took the bed back on the truck and drove away as I refused to take delivery without set up. When we called customer service and the store, they would just abruptly hang up when I explained my frustrations. I was told the transaction would be fully refunded as they do not have he option to assemble this item. Either they refund delivery and I need to assemble myself or I can get a full refund were my only choices. Horrible experience. Will never trust Ashley Furniture again. The rude attitude and horrible customer service is not worth it. Also upon further research, the same exact bed was available for cheaper at other online retailers.

I was glad to be assisted by lovely Zarah she was very patient with me when i told her I’m choosing the right dining table and chairs for my modern look dining area. On top of it i never regret getting the tempur pedic mattress, best decision since i had back problems. Zarah and Ashley team gave me the best deals and promos. First most the sells man charge me for delivery and installation and never inform me second the delivery said 11:30 to 12:30pm and it’s 1:00pm and hasn’t arrived . Horrible ! I tried to even contact the store and it’s even hard to even get ahold of them . Go to living spaces and buy your furniture there . They are accurate on their timing and also don’t sell you things you didn’t agree to .

I bought couches over 10 years ago and they were still holding up from the recliners to the motors and even the top tier leather, so I returned to Ashley's furniture for the best product. Samantha Pacheco was top notch with my customer experience , with zero pressure sales. Samantha Pacheco spent a lot of time with me and my wife making sure we would choose the furniture we wanted, she took us trough the whole floor and even in the discount room of furniture. I bought a beautiful couch recliner with heat and massager built into the couch with headrest recliner and led lights with wireless phone charger and USB with top tier leather. We purchased a coffee table and a dresser, the dresser has stainless steel roller bearing slides so you don't need to worry about over loading the drawers these are life time slides. The massager in the couch is so amazing. Thank you Samantha Pacheco for excellent customer service and excellent pricing. I went to the long Beach town center location for Ashley's furniture, I would definitely request for her Samantha she made sure we bought the furniture we wanted. We also went next door to the competitors store and the furniture was not built to last and more expensive. Thank you Ashley's furniture and thank you Samantha we will be coming back for are dining table soon. I added the photos of this amazing couch unbelievable perfect build . The dresser and coffee table are beautiful. I forgot to mention the center couch seat folds down with two more cup holders and adjustable reading lights and arm rests fold up , they are top lids to compartments to store your remotes.

However, I would give this store and Ashley as a whole, a bad review and negative stars due to their lack of professionalism and their lack of communication once someone has purchased an item. It has been over a month and I have not yet received any of my furniture. I called the store And no one could seem to help. The customer service line are no use as they don’t seem to help as they only reroute you to another person who is less knowledgeable of what it is that you’re inquiring. At this point, they’ve pushed back the delivery date TWICE without any reassurance of when our paid couches will actually arrive. We ended up purchasing the Flynndale sectional sofa. Once we decided on a sofa the buying process only took about 10 minutes including set up of delivery.

Ordered furniture and paid in full month ago and furniture still not here. Return stuff which are defective will take forever to replace even though it is there mistakes.

The attendant didn't want assist me with getting the item i wanted and researched online for my small space. She keep showing me other options far too large and didn't want to tell me the option I wanted wouldn't be delivered until December. She was just trying to sell whatever was on the floor.

Did not have a good experience, called into the store, was told i had to come in to place my online order since the item was not in stock, did not get a the matched price i wanted even though other websites are getting the items directly from Ashleys Furniture which made no sense, was told nothing was backordered and that it would get to me quickly, and that was definitely not the case. Ended up cancelling the order due to false information. When walking into the store, asked for the person who helped me over the phone, everyone in the front were just talking and did not want to assist me, had to force someone to ring me up and they just told me to wait. Horrible service

Felt good about the purchase because you didn't leave anything out.

Brand new couch was damaged when it was delivered. I was told I had 72 hours to inspect the couch, which I did, and reported the damage within the 72 hours, but Ashley would not replace the damaged couch section, only send a technician to fix it. When the technician and part came, not only did he not fix it right, he damaged a different part of the couch. Ashley's response? We'll send a technician out to fix what the previous technician messed up. So much for my brand new couch. Ashley is a fraudulent company and nobody should buy a couch from them. Buyer beware!
