I walked into the Ashley HomeStore location a few weeks ago looking for a new sofa. Not only did anyone not offer to help as I browsed around, but the when I did find a sofa I saw it was listed at about $997 dollars. Not a huge deal, just a bit out of my price range. Decided I'd check out some other furniture stores. Within the next couple of days I decide to look at the Ashley HomeStore website and I find the same couch I saw in-store (Zardoni Sofa), listed online at about half the price: $500 more or less. Sounded great but also a tad confusing because of the misleading in-store price tag. I placed an online order and scheduled it for delivery for 12/3 - which was way longer than I had anticipated, but I didn't really have a choice. In the weeks that followed I received an unnecessary amount of automated texts asking me to confirm the 12/3 delivery - all of which I confirmed. But the morning of the scheduled delivery date I receive a phone call from a store representative letting me know that my scheduled delivery needs to be postponed to 12/21. That's over A MONTH after I placed my original online order. Very disappointing. Funny enough, I received an automated text shortly after the phone call letting my know the delivery truck is 10 minutes away (it wasn't). Lots of issues here; poor in-store experience, poor online shopping experience, misleading pricing, inaccurate and bothersome automated messages, misleading delivery window information and an overall bad experience with this retailer. I've been without a couch in my apartment for almost a month now and it feels like i'm back to square-one in my search for a sofa. As soon as I find a different couch you can count on me cancelling this order.
Terrible terrible customer service. Spent more than $9000 in store to buy furniture. It's 7 weeks later and we still haven't received our items. Just got a call that it's gonna be another 8 weeks before they deliver the bed. SERIOUSLY?!? Why would you sell me a bed if you don't have it in stock for 3 freaking months?! And now, once we've paid fully upfront and everything, they don't even answer my phone calls or call me back. I have to drive over an hour to get to the store to be able to talk to anyone about this. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD. Will NOT ever bring my business to them anymore
I had the worst experience twice this year. Both experiences are partial part of the item only came on day of delivery. Delivery system is really ugly. Ashly doesn’t even communicate with their own ware house. driver had to tell me on the day of delivery not have my item. Not pleasant to have this kind of poor service to customers duo to lack or miss communication between their own system.
Amazing furniture store for Ashley HomeStore. Customer service is exceptional and very helpful. Loved everything I saw and bought my Ashley HomeStore set from here.
This hasn't just been the worst experience I've ever had with a furniture store...this has been the worst experience I've ever had with ANY COMPANY EVER. Top-to-bottom this is a horrendous organization: Shiesty sales tactics that advertise misleading "sales?" Check. Inability to deliver the furniture you overpaid for? Check. (Three months and counting and I don't have the couch I bought.) Completely inept and rude customer service that is impossible to reach? Check. You literally couldn't design a worse experience. As someone who cares about my fellow human beings, I have no choice but to spend the remainder of my years telling everyone I meet to avoid this store.
Disappointing experience. Customer service lacked. The employees helping us showed no motivation to sell us or find the table we wanted. The manager was very rude and not outgoing to provide us the help we had wanted. They lost a sale.
I went and order a leather couch for $4000 over a month ago. I was told that I would get it before Thanksgiving, I call to check on the Status few days ago, they gonna tell me oh you won't get getting it until after January 24th I'm like HELL NO so I went back and get my $$ and went somewhere else.
I bought over $2,000 in furniture from the store, including a large rug, desk, bookcase, and TV stand, and have received terrible customer service ever since. The TV stand was delivered broken, with multiple termites in the box. After spending over two hours with customer service on the phone, I was finally able to get an exchange set-up. The furniture was never delivered. Instead, I called Ashley to find out the order had been "cancelled" because they "did not load the TV Stand on the truck in time" and failed to inform me, leaving me to wait around for the delivery. Today, was the third delivery attempt set, to finally get a functional TV stand (and hopefully no termites). The delivery people showed up this time, and got my replacement TV stand up to my front door. Upon finding out that the other TV stand didn't have a box (because of the termites), which I had already discussed with Ashley customer service and assured wouldn't be a problem, they refused to exchange the item. Ashley customer service said they now couldn't exchange the item until they got a "special truck" to take the other furniture which had been exposed to the termites. The crazy part was, the entire point of the exchange was due to the item being broken and having come in a box with termites. Since then, I have tried calling customer service, who claims that only the local store can do anything related to partially refunding or making this whole mess right. The local store customer service, however, routes you to the national customer service line, leading to an eternal run-around. I finally reached someone at the store today after spending three hours trying, only to be told "their hands were tied," and they would try to get the manager to call me back. No surprise that hasn't happened. If Ashley does something to make this right I might reconsider, but until then, this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Delivering a broken TV stand is one thing. Delivering furniture with termites is another. Setting up an exchange date and then not showing up NOR informing the customer is another. But then finally showing up with the item, and bringing it to the customer's door, but refusing to do the exchange for the exact reason the exchange happened in the first place? Don't buy from Ashley if they treat their customers like this.
could be a lot more organized when it comes to handling paperwork and shipping items. Order date to shipping date was about 3 weeks, long wait on certain furniture. Overall above average experience.
What a nightmare to deal with this entire company. Purchased a bundle of couch, rug, coffee tables etc... Bought in August and they kept delaying the orders. They also delivered me the incorrect rug and 3 times!!! Delivered the correct rug to my billing address instead of my new delivery address. Then refused to drive ot to the correct address... Also again, in August this was bought, in November my tables still weren't delivered. Went to the store and they told me it was cancelled weeks ago. With no refund! They were stealing my money! The manager there Frankie had no desire to resolve the issue. He more wanted to start a fight than anything else. 1 star goes to another manager I dealt with, older gentleman who was nice.. Monica originally helped us and was great in giving us space when shopping with good recommendations. I love the deal I kinda got but not worth the hassle of dealing with their support.
(Translated by Google) I am very satisfied, good customer service, good offers and the truth is that I am happy to have bought in this store Good quality at a good price, evan and the manager have good customer service. (Original) Estoy muy satisfecha, buen servicio al cliente, buenas ofertas y la verdad que estoy contenta de haber comprado en esta tienda Buena calidad a buen precio, evan y el manager tienen buen servicio al cliente.
It's a big showroom
I like their furniture. I purchased over $4000 on a master bedroom set. Furniture came in on time, bed mattress took over a month. Only buy here if you're not in a hurry to get comfortable
The delivery people came into my house without masks. I feel like the company should have trained them better, with everything that's going on
Nice selection and centrally located.
Super helpful & friendly! Helped me choose the perfect new sectional!
Bought a new bed today from Drew who was awesome and gave me a great deal! Would recommend
Great experience on buying my new mattress
Hospitality was great BUT......I was told everything was 45% off. Sounds great. I saw a $1200 couch and it’d come out to around $600....So I felt I was getting a great deal and I should take it. But then I saw the same couch online and it was retailed original price at $700 not $1200. So the store is making you think you’re getting an AMAZING deal when in reality you’re only saving about 5%. Not 45%. And I don’t like being lied to. Technically the couch was always worth $600 but they’re saying it’s worth double the price. This is called “Transactional Utility”. It’s when companies raise the MSRP Price and then show you a discount price making you think you’re saving.
Purchased a mattress in August, delivery confirmed on Sep 12. Upon not receiving my mattress. I have called Ashley on Sep 14 and they informed me that the delivery date was moved to Sep22. On the day of delivery I have called them and they have said that the delivery date was rescheduled to Oct 9. Not sure if this is acceptable or scam!
Naomi greeted us upon entering the store, was attentive in asking how she could help. Then she pointed us in the right direction after letting us know about potential savings. It was a great experience, we didn't feel pressured at all, more than one employee gave us feedback on questions, and when we were ready for numbers Naomi came back and helped us. Patiently walked us through different prices on different items. It was a great experience.
I had a great experience with David! I needed an Ikea sideboard put together on a specific day and time, and David went above and beyond in making sure he arrived on time even though it was a stretch for him. He was efficient and fairly priced, and the piece came out great! Would definitely recommend his services to anyone who wants to skip the headache of assembling a piece yourself.
Sales woman was wonderful
