The staff was helpful! Great selection!
The managers at Ashley located in Milpitas, Kelvin and Kip were very accommodating. They find time to help you and never felt rushed. They try to also give you the best price possible. I made a number of purchases from their store and they have gotten to know me. Very friendly and professional. The service desk can be more welcoming and open to customers. Overall, I keep going back to this store because of Kelvin and Michael. Kip helped when Kelvin was out on vacation.
Gave us an amazing prize/deal! So happy to shop with them
I liiik it
Nice offerings , mid range prices. Durable furniture
The furniture quality is very good but the style is a little old. Customers may need to spend some time finding their favorite furniture.
Customer service agent was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The purchasing process was very smooth and quick.
Amazing customer service from Dan as soon as I walked in the store! He greeted me immediately and led me to exactly what I was looking for! My sectional will be delivered in just a few short days! Henry even gave me free protection for my sectional! Great group of guys!
great service! professional and helpful made the experience super fun also ty!
James is an excellent sales person. Shows u what u r interested n, no pressure, knowledge, FAIR regarding pricing & dresses sharp. I have had him previous help me & I will return & ask for James Scroggins again & again! Sandy Souza
Polite staff and temperature screening are a plus, but the price listed on the couch I wanted was $400 more than the price listed on Ashley Furniture’s site. The staff came down to meet the online price but not before the hassle of manager approval. Same for protection plan ($100 online vs $150 in store). Seems they want to lure you in with website price and they hope you don’t notice the several-hundred-dollar difference when you arrive. Also, the woman who helped us out had no sense of social distancing. She was leaning over my shoulder while I filled out paper work. Another staff member’s mask was hanging below his nose.
This is the worst place to buy furniture. The sales people will lie to you to make the sales and disappear on you. Its been 2 months that i have been waiting and had to make trips to store and calls with no clear answers. After cancelling my purchase, they said 2 months for the refund to appear on my account. Do not waste your time or money here
My overall experience was really bad. They don’t take responsibility of the deliveries or products. Customer service is bad. Management is super inefficient. My chaise was delayed and I was not informed. When I complained, they said talk to warehouse. When I call customer service, they say talk to store. What is the point of buying from a reputed store. Won’t recommend it to anyone and won’t ever buy furniture from them
1. Ashley furniture online website quoted one price, and when I went to the store, they did not honor the price. 2. It took a long time before anyone showed up to help. I was ready to leave. This is the Milpitas branch I'm referring to. 3. The sales person was quoting a different price than the manager. 4. The sales person mentioned that if I did not chose the delivery-and-assemble option, I would be taking a risk, i.e. if the box is delivered with parts damaged, Ashley would not be responsible. Ashley it seems automatically assumes that customer is at fault if you don't pay for Ashley to assemble the furniture! 5. We settled on a price. But the sales person added another $50 if I financed it. I guess the price settled was the cash price out the door, but I was not told about this upfront. 6. The manager promised free delivery to my door. But the sales person wanted an extra $60 for delivery. I asked if the furniture could be delivered to Milpitas store, so I could pick it up from there. The sales person said I'd have to go to Lathrop to pick it up!!! 7. An intervention by the manager was needed to get things straightened out.
This place has shady business practice, keep missing delivery deadlines with NO CALL NO SHOW. We always make big furniture purchases from other major stores many times with no issues. Then lately decided to support local stores. We drove by Ashley Milpitas, and decided to check it out. It was the BIGGEST mistake spent about $5000 for two beds. The sales guy promised we would get our new beds in 3 weeks. Family was excited, painted the room, even took out the old beds and sleep on the floor waiting for new beds to come. Then the 3 weeks came by NO CALL NO SHOW. We called the store, they said the delivery has moved to 10 days later. Well, how about a COURTESY call to let your customer know? That not all, 10 days gone by too, they missed the second delivery schedule too and again NO CALL NO SHOW. At this point, we think they don't have NO INVENTORY, NOTHING, ASHLEY HOMESTORE indeed took our money and just disappeared. Anyone know what should we do? At this point we just want our money back or consider the $5000 a total loss? This remind me should probably go to Facebook and Twitter warning my friends before the July 4th weekend.
I bought a 6 piece sectional sofa a year and several months ago. When I received it, I noticed one of the mechanical recliners was not working properly and wouldn’t recline. I called Ashley Furniture and spoke to the sales rep and manager the same day and informed them. Over the course of six months, they sent 2 wrong parts and 3 mechanics that did not attempt to fix the sofa and one of them did not even show up. At some point they stop sending mechanics then informed me that since the part was broken a year ago, it was no longer a part of Ashley Furniture warranty and it would have to be covered by the third party insurance I bought from them. When I contacted the third party, they informed me that I would have to contact Ashley Furniture since the part was broken before delivery. I went in to the store today and the new manager Kelvin was able to help me get a new piece. He was extremely professional and calm as I went on a rant. If Kelvin was the manager at the time, this review would have been 4 stars instead of 1 star.
(Translated by Google) If I could give it less -5, I would gladly give it a very bad customer service, they have me waiting for my order for two months, the delivery is Saturday and now they leave with the fact that they do not have the product. (Original) si pudiera darle menos -5 lo aria con gusto es un pesimo atencion al cliente me tienen dos meses esperando mi pedido la entrega es sabado y ahora salen con que no tienen el producto menos mal el manager me lo prometio 🤬🤬
Horrible. I went into the Milpitas store ordered a sofa and chair. Its going on 2 months and I was just told it will be another month. And that's an estimate. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. The Milpitas store doesn't answer the phone EVER! Update: canceled my order and they did refund me within the 7 days stated.
