Don’t buy from Ashley HomeStore - Go to Fashion Furniture in Fresno! They have better quality furniture for lower prices, and their customer service is absolutely incredible. Ashley HomeStore, unfortunately, is unethical and they have horribly disappointing customer service. I used to love Ashley furniture, and would recommend it to other people. My husband purchased a bedroom set for me for Christmas, including delivery. They confirmed delivery, including our address, 5 times. The day of delivery, they gave the 10-minute out, and then the delivery driver called my husband saying they were actually 4 hours away, and we’re not going to deliver our furniture. We spent over 4 hours on the phone talking to various members of their company. The delivery driver said that dispatch would call us (they never did). We called dispatch, and they said this was a HomeStore issue. We called the HomeStore and they said this was a dispatch issue. They sent us around and around - making us call different members in their company to fix their mistake. The night ended with them saying that *our* attempts to resolve *their* issue were “perfectly reasonable”. They did say that they would refund our delivery fee, but wouldn’t tell us when we could re-schedule delivery. They said the HomeStore manager and the dispatch manager would call us back the next day. Neither called. I called Customer Care to see if there was any resolution, and they said they showed that they delivered our furniture. *I* am the one who had to tell them that they did NOT, in fact, deliver our furniture. They apologized and re-scheduled our delivery date for a week later. Second delivery date came. They confirmed our address 4 times. THEY DID NOT DELIVER. They gave us the exact same run-around, and told us, again, that they were not going to deliver our furniture. They said someone would call us back the next day. No one called. We called them again, and they AGAIN had marked our furniture as having been delivered. We had to tell them that they had NOT delivered our furniture. They said they had a note in their system that said a manager called us to explain the situation, but we didn’t like what they had to say. No one had ever called us back. At this point, they also had not refunded the delivery fee from the first failed delivery, as they said they were going to. We requested to cancel our order. They refused to refund us. We had to open a dispute with our credit card company in order to get our money back. The HomeStore manager called us the next day and literally begged us to come in to re-order the furniture set. He said they would give it to us for 60% off. We agreed. They told us the delivery date, and my husband confirmed the delivery date because he had to take a day off from work to accept the delivery. They promised they would actually deliver our furniture this time. The delivery date came, and guess what? THEY NEVER DELIVERED OUR FURNITURE. We requested a cancellation. They said they would cancel our order. The next day they called us to reschedule our delivery, and my husband said that the order was cancelled. They said that didn’t show in their system. He requested cancellation again. They confirmed. The day after that, they called AGAIN, to reschedule our delivery. My husband said that he was told that his order was cancelled for the past two days. They said that didn’t show in their system. We had to open another dispute with our credit card company because they refused to refund our money. Save yourself the hastle!!! Just go to Fashion Furniture. They deliver from Modesto to Bakersfield, and they are SO nice! We ordered our bedroom set from them after this whole Ashley HomeStore mess, and the furniture, including delivery and a 5-year protection plan, was a better price than the Ashley furniture set — and it’s a better quality set! And the best part: THEY ACTUALLY DELIVERED OUR FURNITURE! They had no issues at all! They were so friendly, so nice and helpful — they delivered and set it up within a half-hour. Never, EVER go to Ashley HomeStore. Fashion Furniture is the way to go!

Worst delivery service EVER! Easy process buying the furniture but recieving it is a different story. Ended up getting our stuff through a 3rd party delivery service since Ashley's couldnt give us our stuff when they said it would be here with NO notice at all that they weren't coming! This happened 3 times!! 3 TIMES!! Better call them the day before to make sure they have your stuff ready to go or else you'll be SOL! This place is a joke, let's just say we will never buy from them again. Lesson learned! Hi david, Thank you for responding back to my post. When will the gift card be available for pick up? Worst experience ever. We placed our order November 12th for an entertainment center and dining table with 4 stools. We were told the entertainment center was on backorder so delivery for the entire order wouldn't be until December 4th . No problem. Come day of our delivery (which we confirmed day before for a morning delivery with 4 hrs window) it was changed multiple times and wasn't delivered until around 6pm. They didn't have our entertainment center and 3 of the 4 stools were damaged.After several calls we got a new delivery date for the rest of the order..and day of delivery they didnt have the stools and the entertainment center was damaged. So another call was made and another (VIP)delivery was scheduled. On the 3rd delivery guess what..no entertainment center and they only had 2 of the 3 replacement stools. We were tired of having deliveries scheduled and us having to take off work so we scheduled for my husband on December 30th to go to their warehouse in Lathrop to pick up the rest of our order on his own. When he got there he had to check and open 3 different boxes of the entertainment center to find they were ALL damaged so he had to take parts from the 3 to make a whole complete one. And of course he received no help from any of the worker's. Needless to say this was a horrible experience and we will NOT be buying from Ashley's Furniture again. Both delivery teams that we had told us themselves that they would NOT recommend Ashley's Furniture. The quality of products is just not there anymore. They use to have such good products and customer service but no longer. We did receive a $100 credit back to our card for the delivery but still would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Table was delivered and as soon as they left I turned on the lights and noticed huge crack in table .. I called two minutes after they left and they said they had to send out technician to repair it. I paid $3000 for a table and want a good new table not a cracked one that they’ll attempt to fix that will always have a weak spot being they’ll just glue it together. Not happy and may not be buying again if they don’t replace table.

There was a good selection here and the salespeople were not pushy. However, after having shopped some locally-owned stores in the area, I felt like they were far less willing to customize there selection and offer the 'perfect product'.

I purchased a table and a rug over a month ago i only received my table I keep getting the run around on where my rug is and they keep telling me it will get delivered and it still has not I walked into the store today to see what is going on I talked to manager Jerry she never said sorry the only thing that came out of her mouth was that she doesn’t control distribution and that they are open 7 days a week and I could have came in sooner and pretty much pawned me over to another sales rep to schedule yet another delivery for dec 21 let’s see if I get my rug over a month later.

We bought a new living room set for our new home, and paid an extra $100 for delivery. We love the couch and chaise, however the tables came damaged and one of the lamps were dinged. We were unable to be home during delivery and my parents had to open the house for delivery. They're in there 80s and said the delivery people set-up everything in 15 minutes and left. All of the damaged areas were pushed up against the furniture to hide it as well. I figured this wouldn't be a problem and called Ashley to let them know about the damage. They said they could schedule a technician to come "repair" the tables. I told them not only was that inconvenient for us, but we had paid for new not damaged/repaired. They refused any kind of compromise saying they had to try to repair it first before they could replace it. The only option was if the store manager wanted to make an exception. I got forwarded to the manager and explained the situation. We live over an hour away from the store and wanted to resolve this as easily as possible. The store manager was extremely rude on the phone and when I said if they couldn't resolve this to our satisfaction I'd return the entire set. At this point she very snidely told me there were no returns and we were told this when we bought the furniture and that we should have declined delivery if there were any problems. Neither myself not my fiancee were told about the no returns. We also have checked our receipt for this disclosure and see no mention of it in any of the paperwork. The delivery people left no paperwork either. I'll be contesting the charges with my credit card company and letting everyone know what kind of service to expect.

Just left the store. Jerry is a Terrible manager and didnt now customer service. I have no idea where she got her training from. My table was promised on Nov 22 so I could have a Thanksgiving dinner and it never came. Basically back ordered the second time and all I get was I'm sorry. Canceled the 1.5k dinning table and will never shop or come close to this store again...we have so many other near by furniture store and I have no I dea how they stay in business.

I purchased a couch here a year ago and got the warranty because I was explicitly told that it covered certain things. I asked several questions about the warranty to ensure that it would meet our needs and bought a more expensive couch then I normally would have because I believed the warranty made it worth it. When I filed a claim that was based on the warranty described to me when I purchased the couch I was told that my claim was not covered. I spoke to another person at Ashely furniture who also said it should be covered and they would reach out the the warranty company on my behalf. After several days of not hearing back from anyone, I followed up with the store and the manager told me it would not be covered. It is really disappointing to be so misled and then have no one try to help you. I would not recommend shopping here because of the poor customer service.
