We were very impressed with Ashley store in Montclair. Aurora took very good care of us and so did the store manager. I will give them five stars for sure. Please keep in mind we haven't received our delivery yet so I cannot score that portion.

While Mary Anne was perfectly lovely and helped us get a new couch (that was to be delivered today 12/17) but unfortunately AFTER I got rid of my couch and 50 minutes before my delivery window started I got a call indicating that because one of the 5 pieces of the couch was on back order that I wouldnt see it for 2 weeks and would not do a partial delivery. I paid $6500 for this couch and waited 2 weeks after purchase for delivery to be told the day of that it wasnt coming. EDIT: It took me 3 weeks and a BBB complaint to get someone to hear me but Ashley corporate did hear me out and properly compensate me for the issue. Also-The email I sent as requested went unanswered

We have been searching for home furniture for our new house have been to several different Ashley’s locations and we came all the way back to this location cuz Ramy he was very very helpful in assisting us to find good furniture for a fair price , for our home great customer service he went above and beyond as well as Julio who I believe was the manager both were awesome and very helpful !!!!

Beware of reps telling you whatever you want to hear just to get the sell. Tell you to buy warranty for free delivery and set up, come to find out 2 of the items will be shipped via UPS and will need assembly upon arrival. Told items will be delivered together, come to find out 1 item delivered and other will arrive in 7-10 days after scheduled delivery date.

I was told my end tables were going to be put together and they arrived h assembled! I tried calling by no one answers the phone and so I feel ripped off!!! Stay away from Ashley

Not great when furniture is delivered with damaged orders. It takes them more than one visit to figure out what damages are. Even though they ask for pictures.

Worst customer service experience ever experienced. We purchased over $7,000.00 worth of furniture at this store in Montclair. When we received our sofa and loveseat, the loveseat was damaged. We were told that a new loveseat would be delivered. Because we needed our new sofas for the Thanksgiving holiday due to our guests, we thought we would get our new loveseat fairly soon. We were given 3 different delivery dates, which were after the holiday. We had already gotten rid of our previous sofas to accommodate room for the new ones. We tried getting this resolved with the management team, but all we got was really bad attitude. Omar had an annoyed attitude and didn’t care much to go the extra mile for the customer. We left various messages for Julio the store manager and never received a call back. We’re still waiting for a call back and it’s been 2 weeks.When my husband went to the store to speak to him, he blamed my husband for the delivery not happening. Both my husband and I had to personally go to the store to try and get some help and we were told that the delivery dates were backed up due to Black Friday. We should have been put at the top of the delivery list since our sofa was damaged upon delivery. We received no help whatsoever from this management team and their lack of compassion was ridiculous. Don’t spend your money at this store because once they get your money and have issues, you won’t get any help. Buy your furniture at a store that cares for the customer. We finally called the corporate office and currently have a case open regarding this incident. When asked, Omar refused to give me the phone number to Julio’s boss or the corporate number to complain or at least try to get some help. As of today, 1 month later, we still have no delivery of our damaged item.

The sales person did not mention about anything that is in back order when we were at the store to purchase our furniture. Therefore, we did not know one of the pieces was in back order until the day before the delivery when the delivery person contacted us to inform us about the back order. After the first delivery, we followed up with the store about the back order furniture, and all we got was a customer service person with bad attitude and disrespectfully warning us for additional delivery fee for the back order item, furthermore, we were told that we have to personally contact the delivery company (3rd party) to follow up our back order item and arrange delivery, even worse, the delivery person who used to be responsible for our first delivery deny that he ever saying the second delivery for the back order item would be free even though he clearly promised us through phone call that the second delivery for the back order item would be free. The whole situation was just ridiculous!

very bad experience. I order all my furniture for my home here. 1) the bed frame delivered damaged. They shipped out new part to me without putting the correct address. I contacted the customer service and stayed on the line for an hour just for her to tell me that there’s nothing she can do and hung up one me with no follow-ups. 2) the couch and coffee table delivery keeps getting delayed. I ordered it on Oct 12th, and it’s been three weeks. The salesman told me he couldn’t do anything. I called customer service, and the lady had a very bad attitude saying that it’s not her fault, and I can cancel the items?! No one in the whole experience provided me with a solution.

My salesperson was very patient with me and informative. She took her time finding what I wanted and what I really liked is if she didn't have the answer she would get It. I forgot Her name but I will be going back because of her.

Very unfortunate experience with Ashley’s! Items of furniture were delivered and were not functioning. Took Ashley’s months to arrange engineers to make multiple trips to not fix the items. They offered replacement, at which point the item had been discontinued (probably because it was so error prone). Ashley’s then refused a refund as it was out of the “time frame”, even though the item was broken from the point of delivery. All in all very unsatisfactory, and I will not be using Ashely’s again moving forward.

Missing parts to a bed been three weeks still haven't received those missing parts. This is the second time I've had a situation with Ashley's when it comes to their bedroom sets or living room sets.

We love our new couch and recliner and corner self !! Our salesman was fantastic and we got delivered and set up no problems

It took a month and a lot of work to get my refund because my account was deleted in their system. What company deletes accounts??? It was very unprofessional. Also, they never pick up their store phone. Never.

I purchased a bedroom set with night stands last week of July and delivered first week of August . When they delivered them , I realized the box springs and the mattress would make the bed too high. I returned the box springs. It took almost 3 weeks to get a refund. The customer service experience was really bad The nightstands came with plug in LED lights . One of them had a problem with the electrical cord and won’t turn on. They sent a guy to repair it and the guy said I need a new plug in cord. He arranged to have a replacement cord delivered to my place . It is now the end of October and I have yet to receive the cord. I had such a bad experience with this Store.

Poor Customer Service at Ashley Furniture Montclair After a terrible experience at another Ashley Furniture location, I reached out to the Montclair store, hoping they could help resolve the issue. I called and explained the situation, and they assured me they would call back—but they never did. I followed up again, and once more, they promised to call me back but still didn’t follow through. The lack of communication and accountability was really disappointing. If you’re considering Ashley Furniture, I’d recommend going somewhere else where they actually value their customers’ time and provide better service.

Terrible experience. The chair delivered was not like the chair on the showroom. It bottoms out and is defective, and Ashley says all sales are final. I would not shop at this store. They don't stand behind their products and couldn't care less about customer service

Came here to buy a temperpedic pillow and the order was put a week later to find out that FedEx will deliver in 7 to 10 business days when I was told Tuesday... I was better off ordering from Amazon...I kept calling the store to find out a lame excuse that the store manager was the only one opening that she will get back to me by via email.... Don't waste your time or money..

Shopping online I found the Abinger sofa at a great price with Ashley furniture. I called the local Ashley store in Montclair, CA and spoke with Ronnie. She verified that they had one in stock in the color we were interested in. We visited the store that evening. We visited the Ashley Montclair store multiple times in the past 4 months and we have always had a great experience. Dan Hallas, has been very helpful with his knowledge and experience. His inputs helped us create the look of our home with classy/modern furniture just the way we imagined

I had asked for the bed and bed frame and box just like it was on display but I received something different. After going in person to try and resolve the issue I got little to no help. It was obvious the sales person was inexperienced and just sold us what he could to get a sale. Armon and the store manger were no help and just wasted time to not even help with the issue. Never again will me or my family buy from here.

My experience at the store was very nice don't get me wrong, but when you buy and pay for delivery, pay close attention. They have 2 options and they do not explain anything about that. One is called doorstep delivery and costs about $150 The other one is called premium, and it costs doble, about $300. When you pay premium they suppose to assembly for you whatever they are delivering. In my case, I didn't need assembly. I talked about this with the sales representative. I specifically asked him if they had other cheaper option (because at the time I did not know about the doorstep one) He said no and charged me with the $300. Today when I received the order, the delivery person explained that they charged me with premium delivery, and I needed to wave the right to get the assembly service. Right there is when I learned they charged me wrong. Delivery guy did not assemble anything, and he told me I had to call the store to get reimbursed. After I tried, now they are saying that because they put the thing inside the garage in boxes it is considered assembly and they won't reimburse anything. I feel I have been taken advantage of. No one ever explained to me what way worked and I had to learn this way. It's a shame, and I'm very disappointed.

We came to this store to purchase a sofa bed. The experience in store was great. Salesperson was great, it was a nice experience. We had our sofa delivered on February 13th. We didn’t use the sofa bed right away. A couple weeks passed by and we started using it a few times to see how it felt, because we have family coming in from out of town soon who will be using it. After a couple uses we noticed this loud sound whenever we would put the sofa bed back in. There was an obvious bend in the mechanism that was impacting the frame whenever we would Push it in. I have pictures to reference the spot because it is obviously damaged. We contacted Ashely furniture and told them we are unhappy with the quality of the product and honestly didn’t want the couch anymore (if we have issues with something only after a couple uses we knew something else would be bound to go wrong). Despite our dissatisfaction with the product we allowed them to just replace the mechanism. Two techs arrived with a whole new mechanism and replaced it. Fine. While they were still in our home, we noticed a black grease stain on the back of our couch that WAS NOT there before. One of the techs must’ve brushed a tool or had dirty hands and dirtied our couch when they were moving it. They didn’t admit to it l, but on my daughters lives, we know for a fact we didn’t somehow being grease into our home and dirty it. My husband also inspected the couch before this arrived to make sure there were no imperfections on the fabric because we didn’t know exactly what the outcome of their visit was going to be. We also told them we were dissatisfied with the quality of the product and wanted to either have a refund or store credit for another product. We were still willing to do business with this company. They said they didn’t have any say in anything and were just here to repair the product. Once the men left the moment we sat on the couch it made this horrible creaking sound. Like sitting on an air mattress/old piece of creaky furniture. This did NOT happen with the first mechanism. The couch also dips in so much since the mechanism was replaced. The couch is embarrassing to sit on. My mother sat on the couch and immediately asked what was wrong with it because of how loud it is when you sit on it. We contacted Ashely furniture again (mind you it is impossible to get someone on the phone at these places). They stated the next step is to have a technician come and inspect the product to see if it is defective. The tech came around on the 27 and my husband sat in the couch to show him, and was going to pull out the bed to show him the bed and he told he it was not necessary he knew exactly what he meant and was going to make his report to get everything taken care of. He didn’t even bother cleaning the stain because he said he knew that it would be taken care of and we wouldn’t be keeping the couch. We received an email that same day stating the they need to send a tech for a second opinion. WHAT?!? A second opinion for what reason? The tech didn’t do his job correctly? We are so over having to deal with this store. We have spoken with numerous employees at the store (managers) who say there is no way of contacting anyone at their corporate office unless they email them, and they apparently have no control or can approve any refunds/returns/credits through the store. I don’t understand how such a big company does not take care of their customers when they are selling crap products. This is a persons hard earned money that is basically going to waste. We are extremely reasonable people, and were still willing to go back and shop there. We have contacted the BBB and if they do not resolve this problem will file a dispute with our credit card company and take this sofa back to the store ourselves and sit outside with it and make sure no one shops with them. And now we have to wait for yet another technician to come around and confirm what the first tech should’ve done We literally just want a refund at this point and want nothing to do with this store!

So update, Ashley furniture did right by us and gave us store credit for a new couch. We went in and Leonard helped us again. He's great! The customer service team there wasn't very friendly and almost seemed annoyed that we were there, which is was really professional. It was Daniel and Theresa at the desk. We were told to all for them and they knew we were coming in that day. They were just really cold and almost dismissive. We still went in there and spent nearly $400 more on our new couch. When got our couch we noticed a huge difference in the quality of the sleeper mechanism compared to our first one. Makes us feel even more validated that there was something definitely wrong with the first couch from the beginning. Anyway, love our new couch.

My experience was great, we interacted with young women name Denise who was outstanding every step of the way. We could not be more grateful for her quality of service. Thanks again Denise. Keep up the amazing service.

My husband & I entered the store with a pact we would not allow some smooth talking csr sell us more than a plain simple sofa we needed.. 3 days from now I will be receiving my beautiful fluffy sofa w/12 matching pillows/more than an awesome coffee table/a well needed kitchen table/& my favorite, a way 2 kool of a lamp!! Gyselle was not only kind & courteous but very smart & knowledgeable of all products she represented.. Sensitive 2 our needs she answered all 100 of my questions with a smile... Ashley store in Montclair, CA has definitely won our business.. Whoever trained Gyselle did an excellent job, she made shopping headache & hassel free..She deserves a raise!! UPDATED REVIEW the purchasing process was nice, But after that was a mess. One of our items got delayed and after waiting for it we decided to cancel the item that we did not receive. After calling it in and speaking to the manager he proceeded to cancel our order and said to wait for the refund. 1 week later they deliver the item without telling us. When we called back about our refund we were told we cant return the item even though we had it cancelled. Such poor customer service from the store. We will not he shopping here again

The gentleman that helped us is named "Ramy" I highly encourage anyone in the market for furniture to see this man at this shop. This store is 50 miles out of our way but we were in the area for a birthday party my son was invited to so we decided to just pop in to check out couches to kill time and maybe just purchase online. Ramy welcomed us right away he was welcoming, professional, and respectful. I am in a similar sales field so I expected the normal sales walkthrough/promo talk track, however Ramy went out of his way to make sure we knew about specific promotions based on what we told him we were looking for. He didn't just spray everything at me, and he didn't just assume I was looking for the cheapest couch. he took the time to help us and gave us great suggestions. In contrast the Topanga store reps could care less no walkthrough no suggestions just look over there and let us know if you want anything. Ramy was great the manager Julio was polite and clearly respects his employees there was no "shop talk" in front of us we never got a pushy vibe or pressure to get anything. We were happy to add a new bed for my son even though we only came in to "look" at couches. 10/10 service 10/10 purchase process 10/10 selection options and 10/10 parking lol lastly I know it seems like I'm going overboard but we really weren't planning on shopping at any Ashley's after our experience at the Topanga shop. Put it to you this way as we were leaving the Topanga store they thought I couldn't hear them because I had my Bluetooth on I clearly heard one rep make racial, classist, jokes basically "these poor ******* can't afford this kick rocks"... do yourself a favor call Ramy he treated us with the utmost respect and dignity. Ashley's earned my business back because of Ramy and Julio. Thank you both we are excited to get the new couch tomorrow :)

Great experience! Mike, our sales associate that helped us, even moved furniture around in store for my wife and I to visually see if we liked the contrast of different sets. They worked with us on price and were very fair.

My experience was not a good one. I purchased 6 chairs and picked them up at the warehouse. When I got home I unboxed them to find that one of the chair legs was broken, I called the warehouse as it states to do on the paperwork and they referred me back to the store I purchased the chairs from. After repeated calls someone finally answered and informed me that they would open a “case” since I picked them up and did spend the additional $100 to be delivered, and that they would get back to me in 24-48 hours. After 24 hours I called for an update and no one at the store answered, I called 6 times. The next day I called again 6 times with no answer I decided to call customer service which did me no good because they told me I had to call the store. The customer service agent called the store with me on the phone 3 times with no answer. At which point they tried to just dismiss me. I kept searching the internet until I found another corporate customer service number. This person who was an escalating agent finally was able to try to help me. She even called the store with no answer. She was finally able to speak with her supervisor and they informed me that because I had called within the 72 hour period I could get the chair replaced. She inputted notes and informed me to go back to the warehouse. At the warehouse the intake worker tried to tell me that I had to contact the store, I repeatedly ask to speak to a supervisor and explained the situation and gave her the case number and she was able to look everything up and help me. Sad that I purchased the chairs in Montclair,ca had to go through multiple customer service and finally corporate in Florida helped me, only to go back to Colton, ca to pick up a replacement chair. Meanwhile I have never heard back from the store In Montclair. Horrible experience will not purchase anything from Ashley again.

The bed we purchased when for our dream bed turned into a nightmare. Due to game played by the staff we had to cancel our mattress. Ashley play game with the refund and has not paid the full refund. The mattress cover, we never received yet still paid for. Customer service say we need to call the store of purchase, but the store never picks up the phone. We contact the sell clerk and the said they would have the store manager call us, but have not yet even attempted to call us after several messages. I would suggest stay away from purchasing anything here. Will some from the corporate office please contact us.

Customer service is bad they don’t follow up leave messages they don’t call back the manager Julio Mejia is a liar. Promises to call back and never follows with his word. I purchased two set of couches in less than one year and I Having issues they won’t do anything about it they keep sending technicians the day one thing we’re going to make notes and come . They never do I have to call them back take 2 hours . Then I call Julio he ignores my calls. The worse furniture place ever ! I would go to living space’s or bobs a lot cheaper and better customer service.All around BAD !!

If I could give a zero I would! Beware when purchasing. You will get blamed if they don't do their job and you call them on it. Here is an exact account including the VM that was left by their team for my second delivery.. the store manager told me it wasn't true and that I canceled my order because they told me they couldn't deliver on Tuesday. No such thing ever happened. Here is the play by play. My first delivery on Tuesday January 9th I was brought a defective couch and their drivers tried to leave it half put together, the driver couldn't screw one of the leg on and waited until I turned my back and flipped the couch over not fully attached to my couch. He thought I wouldn't notice after watching him for 10min. It should go unsaid, that in and of itself, could have caused someone to get hurt. When I call that next afternoon to get a reschedule I'm told I would have to wait 3 weeks for something that initially only took 3 days from my purchase date. I was told to contact the store for a sooner delivery date. For 2 days I try to contact the store because customer service informed me they couldn't do anything for me. No one at your store answered the phone. I finally get a call from a Daniel who states they can deliver my couch on Tuesday.. (great all is well). Except, it isn't, at 3:15 I make a call as no one has reached out to confirm my delivery that I set with the Sales manager Ahmed on Friday at 4:30 pm. Daniel called minutes prior to that also confirming a Tuesday delivery date. Ahmed also confirmed during our call that my couch could be delivered on Tuesday and that he would refund the delivery fee of $250 for my inconvenience. Fast forward to my call today where your store manager tells me I was to blame and I canceled my order because it couldn't be Delivered on Tuesday as mentioned by both Daniel and Ahmed. Yet, I was not informed otheriwse. So I am now sitting here with 2 chairs that I no longer want because your team can't seem to do their job. The final straw in this decision, over charging me for the items I do have and also not refunding me the delivery fee I was promised as your store manager informed me on the phone. Furthermore, he tells me there is no way to contact someone above him. They don't have a business line and he can't give their "personal numbers out" well Ashley all managers should be reachable, this just further goes to show you don't give two shits about your customer or service! How do I get a full refund on and these chairs picked up as I no longer want to do business with Ashley. This company who would rather blame their customers on their own team's short comings instead of fixing the problem they caused.. the chairs are not used still have the tags on them.

Came in with the intent to just look around. As soon as we entered we were warm welcomed by Mike! Awesome salesman approached with a smile and great attitude. Found exactly what we wanted, Mike was just one wave away to help us check out. Check out was super smooth and easy with Mike! 10/10 recommend Mike as your salesmen!!

I would never make another purchase at Ashley, horrible experience. And the staff here are NOT helpful or friendly. I purchased a sofa set and the loveseat was damaged. I called the store numerous times and no one would help me. Eveyone accused me of lying. I had to report to better buisness bureau. 1st tech came said he could fix sticking and stuffedbthe couch it look deformed, said the frame was fine. 2nd tech said stiching is damaged cannot be fixed opened bottome of couch frame was broken ! Thereafter a replacement was issued and 3 attempts were made. Each time it was obvious the sofas were used and each were damaged as well. I was told it was a VIP delivery and these sofas were un boxed so they can be inspected. Which was a lie!! All had broken frames. I insisted on a boxed replacement and on the 4th delivery ironically the boxed new couch was not damaged. Don't buy from this store they follow you like vultures in the store but when you need help they don't care and lie to you . I spoke with Daniel, Scott, and was "told" they were going to initiate a manager to call me Gary. NO call back no help! Overall Ashley is a horrible company.store level, customer service level, I have been a customer for years. They definitely lost my buisness.

We are happy with our Dining table set which will be placed in a narrow space between kitchen bar counter top and family room. To our surprise we found the unusual size that was required. It only has a one because the instore rep helping us was very kind and friendly, but unfortunately not very knowledgeable of their own policies. We where told sure purchase it try it out and you can exchange it no problem so we trusted her and purchased it. Couch came damaged and the wrong configuration and there's nothing they can do to help me. Maybe send a technician out and he has to ok that it would be c9vered by the extra 500 dollar protection plan we bought. I spent ALOT of money in that store to be told in the rudest possible way that I was hung up on and ended up in tears from being so upset which lead to my blood pressure sky rocketing. Ashleys says for instore purchase there's a 30 day return period, And now I see online ashleys has several class action lawsuits about misleading policies buying and furnishing a new home is suppose to be a joyous time, we spend good hard working money and these guys go around lying to customers to make a sale. On top of all the stress they add the icing ro the cake and can't even be courteous, once the sale is made you are nothing to them and that's how they make you feel. Never again Ashleys all we can do is learn from this nightmare because help was not given. We also where getting assembly pushed on us an extra charge of almost 500 when we decided not to get assembly on things that seemed easy enough to assemble ourselves and already spending alot. And they seemed upset instore and at that point we thought let's not buy from here next time we should listen to our gut.

Disappointed after going here tonight. My girlfriend and I came in to purchase a nightstand. I found a few tables and chair for myself. Our sales person was talking to a friend so we waited about 15 mins. They moved and talked for another 10 mins before my girlfriend made a point we’ve been waiting to check out. Denise tells us “oh I thought you were just hanging out”. We’ve been in the same spot waiting for the past 25 mins. She seemed irritated by us. Not sure if it was because we weren’t spending thousands on a couch yet, but now I don’t see us going back for future purchases even though we saw some couches we were interested in.

Purchased a bed two years ago in store and they pushed the warranty on me. I bought it. 2 years later the hardware is breaking off the bed frame and the warranty team said they do not cover hardware. I am unsure as to what else can break on a bed frame other than the hardware. The In store manager did nothing to help and suggested I call "customer service"Called customer service and they advised to call back the Montclair store. Going in circles for something purchased to literally fix if broken. Horrible sales tactics. Will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again. Go to Living Spaces, they honor the warranties they sell

Worst customer service ever. I have been transferred around and still can’t resolve that they delivered a damaged table and wrong color chairs to our dinning table. First, the sales team was great and prices were very good. I had budgeted 3X the amount for our living and family room, saving a lot compared to other stores I looked at. I was concerned that I would not find the styles I wanted, but Ashley had comparable items and the quality seems good enough for the price I paid. I would have left 5 stars, but Ashley Corporate needs to improve their supply chain/logistics. I had items delayed 4 times for delivery. I can understand a delay or 2, but 4 was ridiculous. Was so frustrated that I cancelled. But, Gissel and her manager at the local store was able to get my furniture delivered within a couple of days. Thanks!

Bought a lot of furniture from here approximately 8 months ago. When buying the items, the sales associates are very convincing to sell you the warranty and I got sucked into it. However, one of the pieces of furniture that we bought- worth over 1k- has some damages and now neither Ashley or the warranty company will take accountability, they keep pointing fingers at each other. When you call the store, the manager is always "too busy" to talk to you. Very frustrating process. I am going to just go dump the spoiled furniture to the store front.

My wife and I bought a double reclining sofa and cooling mattress. Our sales person Gyselle was great, she gave us good advice and the entire experience was great. We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to working with Gyselle again.

It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with the warranty company! The sales associate encourage you to get the extended warranty as it will cover EVERYTHING and let me tell you it covers nothing!!! The warranty company finds every way to get out of covering your items! I had an issue with my tv stand the door to open it came off the hinge as when it was put together they stripped the screw and i called and reported it only to be told they don't cover the hardware!! I have never heard of anything like this before but yet I paid the money for the warranty I might as well of thrown my money on the garbage! I also contacted about my dining room table and the color was coming off from areas and the warranty company didn't want to cover that either!!! The excuse they gave me was "Per the terms of your plan, accumulative damages not attributed to a single incident is non warranted" what on the world does this even mean!! They make up whatever excuse they want to deny your claim! I was mislead by the sales team in purchasing the warranty I will never buy from Ashley again! Be carful and make sure to look into warranty companies as well when purchasing furniture as they will literally rob you!

This is the 3rd time we buy from Ashley's and every time has been a horrible customer service experience. I think I'm a gluten for punishment, but this was the last time I ever give them a chance to earn my business.This time I purchased a complete Bedroom Set for my Wife's Birthday - It turned out to be a nightmare! Of the 3 purchases we've made within the last 10 years here is my recap:* They're nice to you when they are trying to sell to you. Get ready because they can give a shit about you once the sales are done and they will send you down the road to the Corporate call centers from the Philippines to who knows where else. NO ONE IN THE STORE CARES ABOUT YOU AFTER THE SALE IS MADE, YOU'LL SEE IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME.* The delivery service is mainly 3rd party unknown people without uniforms or company trucks they have shown up with plain beat-up trucks and unsavory-looking characters who come into your home for undetermined amounts of time looking around your home as they walk in and out setting up your furniture.* The furniture arrives unboxed many times. It looked used and we had to get it replaced one time because it was used and we didn't buy the floor model so they were trying to stick us with some type of returned item, so pay attention to your delivery.* This time around our bed broke on my wife's side of the bed after 10 days and my wife is a small woman so it couldn't be because of her weight. It broke around 2:00 AM while we were sleeping so even though we had a good laugh about it, it quickly turned into a nightmare with Ashley. We reported the problem and we started sleeping on the floor waiting for someone to come inspect the bed. 2 Months later we were fed up with sleeping on the floor. From day 1, I now had called 14 times, Had to file a claim with their Philippines department twice, sent them pictures twice, and had an inspector come out and determine that it was a manufacturer defect and the wrong screws were used according to his assessment. But then he disappeared telling us that he would report back to Ashley that we should get a replacement bed and nothing happened for another 10 days.* 4th of July came around and we were still sleeping on the floor. I called the Store for the 5th time because I didn't want to call the call center customer service abyss line anymore. The Manager Julio at the Montclair store where we purchased is an asshole and ended up hanging up on me! That guy needs to get trained in simple customer service skills. I think he's only trained to push his sales reps to sell more, more, more but when it comes to giving a shit about customers his I.Q. goes blank. NO ONE CARES - GET IN THE CALL CENTER SYSTEM & WAIT FOR SOME OTHER UNKNOWN DEPARTMENT TO DO SOMETHING - AT SOME UNDETERMINED TIME! The best he could tell me after 2 months of waiting was to submit a return request and wait 4 days for approval but it will only be for the bed frame because there was nothing wrong with the Dressers and then argued that they would not take back the dressers regardless of what I want. WTH am I going to do with dressers that don't match whatever new bed I find? WELL, THAT'S MY PROBLEM!* I DEMANDED A REFUND at the customer service call center this time and some Philippine operator apologized and said it would take 4 days to get approval to return the items and then more time to schedule a pick-up.I apologized to my wife today when we woke up on the floor. I promised her a new bed by tonight and threw Ashely's bed out in the back patio and I'll make sure I never go back to that store or buy Ashley's brand ever again.

We went to look at sofas a week ago. One of the salesmen, Juan Avila, approached us and asked if we needed any help, asked leading questions and provided feedback on what and where we should look in the store, then let us explore without being pushy or hovering nearby. Very relaxed environment, staff was professional and did not feel like a pressure sales environment like some other furniture stores we've checked out. Once he saw that we were narrowing down our search, Juan came over and checked if we needed any help, answered some additional questions we had regarding pricing and availability, and was very gracious when we said we still wanted to do some comparison shopping. He gave us his card and provided his availability in store in case we wanted to come back and purchase with him. We couldn't find anything we liked better than what we saw at Ashley, and we appreciated Juan's assistance so much we decided to come back. Ashley's prices were very competitive, and Juan was even able to price match their own website (which saved us an additional $150 off of the already posted sale price), which left us room to purchase the 5-year warranty and still save $90 not including tax. Our only gripe was that the sofa we bought ended up having a delivery date nearly a month out when we were originally given about a week estimate, but considering the reviews and pricing for the sofa (Tibbee, the standard 3-seat sofa for those wondering which one), we are very understanding. Juan assured that if it became available sooner that we would receive a call with an updated expected delivery date. Great experience, we likely will come back for end tables and other decor.

Let me tell you I arrived at this location 8pm just before closing one step into the door I was welcome by Mrs. Denise this woman has such a angelical spirit about herself so classy and humble. Very knowledgeable about every piece in the store and so patient. She is supported by a great crew loving and caring like a little family. I have been back since few more times (lol mess up my measurements) and it’s the same vibe all smiles. Makes your buying experience even more worthwhile and memorable. I brought my son finals decision day and the first thing out his mouth on the way to the car…was Mom “these are some very kind people here, good to know in this world there’s some left” beside the great products you meet great people.

The salespeople were very friendly and helped us find the sofa that fits our house perfectly. They were easy to work with and had really nice furniture for a reasonable price with financing. I will come back if I need more furniture. I recommend coming here v buying online from Amazon. I made that mistake before, and it is safe to say I will come to Ashleys from now on if I need a sofa. It was even cheaper than Ikea too.

Bought this table about 5/6 months ago from Ashley Furniture Montclair Ca this is such a terrible table just going to trash it this wood is awful it is stained and the worst thing I could’ve bought out of this store I’ve tried wood cleaner using a steam iron to remove stains nothing has worked it’s just cheap and bad I would’ve spent 600$ on a glass table if I know the quality of there wood furniture table is so awful do not buy any wood tables from Ashley furniture any dark wood like this

Really dislike how pushy they are with sales. The assistant followed us around the store, and asked if we would like to finance within the first few minutes, before we had even decided if we wanted to purchase something.

Do not buy from Ashley! After spending 2.4K we purchased a dining table along with a recliner. First we dealt with shipping/pick up issues. Second, upon receiving the table it was made incorrectly. The preholes to screw together the table were off. Ashley had to order another and had a tech put it together. Third, after having the table a month the top began to lift. We wanted a refund/credit to our card but Ashley wouldn’t refund us just give us store credit. By this, forcing us to buy another piece of furniture not wanted or we’d lose the refund within a time frame. We were made to purchase a a credenza. Fourth, this was the worst part. They delivered a credenza with wood boring bugs! I started to notice small sawdust piles. Not noticeable enough when walking by it but noticeable upon cleaning it. I didn’t give it any thought since I don’t know about wood until someone told us what it was! Wood boring bugs! Now because it’s too late to report it to Ashley we’re stuck with a defective dining table, a credenza w/wood boring bugs that are slowly it eating away and still paying off a credit card! My husband has been injecting a chemical into the infected areas and it’s destroying the door! We’ve found 2 bugs so far. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS!

Just want to say Ashley Furniture ,has a good variety of products, The sale rep Maryann Alvarez was very knowledgeable in the sofas we were viewing, I didn’t plan on making a purchase but after reviewing a few Reclining sofas , and your pricing I couldn’t say No

I wish I can give more lower rating!!! I bought a bed-set end-of-April, 2023 Since the bed installed (by Ashley's delivery guise), it makes cracking sound, the drawers are not closing properly with other issues. We informed Ashley right way, opened a case and they told they will send a technician to check. After that did not hear anything from ASHLEY, technician did not show up, contacting back and forth finally technician came, shown him everything, including the bed cracking sound. He told us these are bad, I must submit everything (he told us not to be worried, ASHLEY will take care everything). Its been 2 weeks since the technician came, but did not hear anything from ASHLEY, so I called today, the in-store-customer-service operator told me that the case is closed, there was no defect. They are lying, I wish I can upload the video to show the cracking sound, when go one side to another side. I spent around $3000 and almost 2 months has this hassle, even I can not use my bed, weak up middle of the night from bed cracking sound, is it Worthey? Seems like ASHLEY got my money and they no care about the customer satisfaction.

Came to Ashley furniture for the first time in Montclair California greeted they were not pushey or trying to change my mind like a store I use to go too. Omar was a very nice young man. I don't go out much cause of my age but I was amazed on the difference in furniture & I'm happy with my choices. Thank you Ashley Furniture and Omar on helping me pick out my new couches. I'm very old school so the modern styles of furniture is not for me but I did like the colors available. I picked my furniture Saturday afternoon & will enjoy when I receive in a few days.

Salesman Denise was was horrible, we went in the store, bought our furniture which was the one on display, we got delivered something else, went back to the store to let them know they gave us the wrong stuff just for them to make us pay more, we went ahead and paid for their mistake just to have the furniture DROP OFF AT OUR DOOR not put together even though we paid top dollar for delivery and assembly, we were even told "the reason why you are paying more is because if you put it together yourself you void the warranty " it just keeps getting worst.. ALL BAD. STORE MANAGER WAS NO HELP NEITHER.

This was my first purchase with Ashley’s Furniture and it was an absolute great experience. The staff from when I first walked in set the tone with a very welcoming atmosphere, which is the most important part for me to continue to proceed with giving a business my money. Immediately by far the best salesperson I came into contact with was Roni and honestly she was the real MVP! She went above and beyond with assisting me, not only was she knowledgeable with everything on the floor she had a positive attitude as I needed all the help I could get with making decisions and staying on track with my purchase. If it wasn’t for her I believe I would’ve had to go to multiple places to furnish multiple rooms I was on a quest for. These days it’s rare that you find customer service like this, most importantly that this is my first experience with Ashley’s company. For this I will be a returning customer and they should truly mimic RONI’s high expertise customer service ability she displays. Thank you Roni and team!!

The worst customer service experience ever! Never buy anything from this scammer! I do not want even give you guys 1 star. Everyone pleabe aware of thisbought their showroom. I clarified to the saleman Mike that we do not want to use the box-spring or foundation. These are inconvenient (occupy the space when we move to new house in the future) and dangerous for our baby (higher distance from the ground). We went to look for a bed with the bed platform that we just simply need to put the mattress on to lie down. We like one design with drawers, but as baby could play with those drawers, we requested to not take these. Then Mike did not know, he misinformed without drawers, there would be no platform. The bed delivered without the rail that we have to buy box spring or foundation and I definely do not want it. So I came to their store to open a return case but they did not take any action (they said they will handle it within 72hrs). 3 of us have to sleep on the floor for 5 nights already and they did not do anything to resolve our problem. The weather is so cold these days, First, they are not knowledgable of what they are selling, Second, they provided the worst customer service ever even I chat to their live Sapna, he or she just answered in the way that we wanted to hear but they did not take any action I will alert everyone about this scammer, never buy anything from them again

If I could give them 0 stars I would. After over a month of calling in a claim I finally received my replacement furniture. Back in 2021 we bought a whole living room set, bedroom set, and a Tempur-Pedic Mattress...I would say we are great customers who spent a lot of $$$$...so yes we would also expect great service when something happens. After less than 3 years our recliner has gone out. After the whole claim process it took a little over a month to get the recliner inspected and then finally replaced. Before the recliner was delivered, I had called to make sure that they would also take the existing recliner away, and they said yes. Upon delivery the driver could not take it due to his instructions that stated DO NOT PICKUP. So I chat with Ashley's they say it was PROTECTALLs responsibility. Then I call the warranty and they state that since the recliner was completely exchanged, it is up to Ashley's to replace. So now I am stuck with a broken recliner and I have to figure out how to get rid of it. On top of that they would not let me purchase another protection on this new recliner...Obviously this furniture only lasts 2.5 years if that. We were not cheap when we purchased our furniture and we bought higher end sets, so YES I am disappointed with Ashley's on a whole but more so the way that customer services handles communicating with customers especially their Store Managers...specifically JAMES. Long story short if you need furniture just to last you a 1-2 years you might be better off shopping at IKEA, but if you like the styles here at Ashleys then go ahead and do so, just be aware that when it comes to issues and claims, their customer service is lacking especially at the MONTCLAIR location. I will say they have a killer sales team though.

Went in the first time to ashleys in Montclair we were guaranteed by the sales associate that they would work with our work schedule and deliver once we were home .. but then later they pretty much told us either your there or not ... which was so unprofessional when I called to try and fix the problem a women answered the phone I asked for a manager but of course he was in a meeting.. she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't care if we spent 1 dollar or 3 thousand the rules are the rules .. I asked if the manager could contact me back and she said he's gonna tell u the same thing the whole experience was just ghetto we will never go back and will be canceling our order. Worst experience ever they need to train their employees properly on how to deal with situations making the whole brand of ahsleys furniture just look terrible!!!!!!!

I came back today for the New Year’s sale and found a couch that was perfect for me. Thankfully Roni was still here and I will have a real couch shortly!!!

I would give 0 stars if it could I ordered some reclinable couches and 4 months in they were squeaking when I don’t even recline them, they are also flat and in horrible condition. They keep giving me the run around and their technical support is the most unqualified team I’ve ever seen they don’t do anything, but take pictures and lie. I wouldn’t purchase from them at all and the warranty isn’t good for anything either I would avoid this place for reliability

My husband and I stopped by this Ashley location to check out couch options a few weeks ago -- just to look, since we weren't sure what we wanted yet. Ramy was very helpful, showing us all the options that could fit in our space, and off the top of his head he knew what other colors the products came in and how quickly each could be delivered to our home. Aurora is one of the top sales with pushy skills that made me placed an $11,000 order believing that I could exchange items hassle free. I wasn't quite made up my mind on everything at my first visit, but Aurora was very passionate and made things feel easier to me. I expressed my concern about hassle of returning stuff, she quoted "Not with Ashley, everything is easy" and that caught me because it feels right with the brand name. I don't know which mattress base box height to choose, but wasn't given time to think it through because of the impression of being able to exchange for a different height, so I got 3 sets. After delivery I realized one of them is too high for my 5-year old, however when I called about exchanging to a lower one, manager said there's no exchange at all for mattress related items, at all! I felt shocked that the message was completely different from what Aurora made me believe. When I had a chance for physical visit to confront her in store, her entire attitude changed 180 degree. I wasn't hoping much for an exchange at that point by getting the message earlier, but I really could expect a simple apology or an apologetic attitude for the misunderstanding. Instead, she doesn't want to take any responsibility nor an apology for misleading the customer, even worse, she simply WALKED AWAY with a very bad manner and saying "I don't need to deal with this, you (pointing at the store manager) handle her!" Then she just went on to chat with her coworkers since there's no other customers. I'm shocked by such unacceptable customer service. I feel mistreated and wronged, making this shopping experience a horrible nightmare.

First and foremost want to start off with saying how amazing MaryAnn and the manager James were to my husband and I! Furniture shopping can be a stressful thing, but I cannot emphasize enough how easy they made this process for us. MaryAnn was so sweet and very informative which helped in committing to certain pieces of furniture! Not to mention the great deals we got which were greatly appreciated; Especially with a baby on the way! Will definitely be returning to this location for future purchases. 😊

We went in to buy furniture for our new place and asked countless times if we will have our furniture by a certain day and Ramy, the salesperson, said yes. This was even after speaking with Julio the General Manager. We later find out that the delivery will take another week, at least, if the warehouse even gets all the furniture in time. So many false promises made just to close a sale. Crazy thing is we only received a mattress for next day delivery so if we decide to cancel our order we’re out the $500 for delivery and set up for the other furniture that hasn’t even arrived yet. One thing you sign when ordering furniture is that bedding furniture is not returnable so now we’re stuck waiting in an empty place with just a mattress/box spring on the floor.

Me and my boyfriend went to Ashley’s furniture store looking for a mattress for the camper. Nancy welcomed with a warm welcome and we told her what we needed she showed us several options and recommended a mattress for us to buy, we bought the mattress and absolutely love it! Horrible experience shopping from Ashly Montclair , Ca store. I just moved to Upland area and have bought all my furniture from this store. At the begging every one was very kind and friendly. When I got my furniture I have had many issues manufactured defect with my mattress, crack on my dresser defect with my sofa,.After may calling and visiting to the store , my problems haven’t fixed. The store manager David is very unprofessional and not experienced he sent the company’s technicians to check my claims and the technician approved all my claims.When I asked the customer service to replace my furniture with problems they told me they are gonna send another technician and when I talked to store manger he asked me to come and buy a new furniture.I don’t recommend this store for shopping. Rude.., unfriendly ,unprofessional manager ,wasting your time and your money.

Stay away! Buyer beware!. Worst buying experience of my life. We went in to purchase a sofa. They insisted on a demonstration for a new bed. Showed us a amazing bed with vibration and other features. We said the price was too high. They said the manager would give us an amazing discount and for our health we should take this great offer. Bed arrived. A much cheaper version than what we were showed. The delivery people said we could get it exchanged if it was wrong. Classic "Bait and Switch" They won't make it right or even take back the frame we didn't want. We are stuck paying $6000 for a bed we don't want. Don't set foit in this place. Predators. Unscrupulous. Worst experience ever.

My mom was taken advantage at this Ashley store! She walked in making it clear the she was there to purchase a dresser and was helped by MAYRA UGARTE who insisted in running her credit to get her a "better deal" and two weeks later she's was confronted by the fact that they "RENTED" the furniture to her and there was suppose to be a payment every two weeks, when she called to figure out what happen she was addressed by their manager Luna who just repeatedly said "you are a grown up and not a kid you sign so that's your problem" this is no misunderstanding they were sneaky, rude.

Just had the most horrible experience with the salesperson, Harold! I've never written a review on google before, but this experience is soooo bad that I decided to write my first review. Harold is helpful when you're about to make the purchase, but when you actually need his help after the purchase, he is incredibly unreliable! In every call, he said that he'll check into it and call back, but the call back NEVER happened! (Not even ONCE!) He asked us to send him texts, but NEVER gave any responses back. We're actually very much in need of help with the assembly of our furniture, but we did not get any help AT ALL from Harold. At the end, he just gave us some lame excuses that there's nothing that he could do. I ended up calling customer service myself and arranging all the appointments myself (without any help from Harold, doing things that he said couldn't be done!). The customer service was way more helpful and cared more than this salesperson who's supposed to be our main liaison. This Ashley offers good choices of furniture and the store is nice, but for sure... we wouldn't recommend Harold at all!!

Iv had the worst experience I will never buy from Ashley again. All of the furniture was damaged and or stained and getting replacements or repair is impossible. Everything was fine until I got home and looked at my receipt. I don't recall being told the fee for delivering my furniture was going to cost me a $130.00. I could have picked it up myself. $130.00 just to bring the recliner to my home and put it in my livingroom.

I had a great 👍 experience at Ashley.. The sales associate, Leslie was superb and was able to get me what I wanted for a good price. She and another even came to my home and put the media center together . Did an amazing job .

Dons shop here furniture is not good quality bought insurance and it’s still valid and they don’t want to fix my poor made furniture David the manager dosnt wanna fix my problem even with my policy still being current

April 2022 purchased sofa sleeper from Ashley Homestore Montclair. May 2022 Ashley delivered defective sofa sleeper. Company notified right away and promised to repair. Between May and July, Ashley store scheduled, canceled and rescheduled many appointments to repair sofa. July personal visit to store. Spoke with store manager, James Rodriguez and canceled purchase. Requested refund. Told only corporate office can make the decision. Should hear a response in 3 to 5 days. No response after more than 5 days. Complaint filed with BBB and American Express. Stay away from this company. Poor quality merchandise. Pathetic customer service.

Danny is excellent on helping customers in person or phone and scheduling shipping. Any problems I have, he can answer them for me. The manager there is good people. He can help and get thing resolved within minutes. The team get straight to the solution.

All I have to say about Ashley’s customer service is Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. All i was calling for was to see when my furniture was coming this one lady says it will be delivered via FedEx. ??? No one told me that. After being on hold for 30 minutes for customer service to tell me that. I ask okay can I get the tracking # for that. She tells me you’d have to contact the store for that info. I call the store and I guess it took forever so it generated back to customer service and the lady tell me she will transfer me to to the store. ? I thought I was calling the store lol.. The automated system says they’ll be with you shortly while advertising they’re capability, innovation, and their charity etc. However, they cannot simply answer the phone in a timely manner. When I finally did got ahold of someone the second time I get transferred 3 times just to get hung up on. At this point I want to scream. Here I go again, on my day off, on hold as we speak as I write this review, just to ask for the information to track my package.

Harold helped us with everything. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us and our kids! His colleagues were super generous and helpful as well.

Harold at the Montclair, CA store was extremely helpful assisting me in picking out living room and dining furniture. He suggested several alternative that might fit the decor I wished to achieve and very helpful with the final choices. Horrible service!! With the girls in the desk not the sales associates but the manager and the girls at the desk. They do not help you after you have made a purchase! There is always problem with EACH purchase, delayed delivery, quality and workmanship issues, and worst of all is trying to talk to customer service, I was put on hold for 25 min. and message came out to tell me there are 235 calls ahead of me!!! Save your trouble, go somewhere else!!!

Bought furniture two months ago and it has yet to arrive. Instead of the store calling us with updates on my furniture delivery, I have to call every month just to get told there is a delay in the warehouse. Would of never purchased furniture if I would have to wait almost three months just to get our couches.If you want to purchase furniture choose another location.

1. The worst store ever. The sales agent just tells lies about the delivery date in order to make a deal with the customer. We checked 3 times with the sales person and she told us the latest date is The end of this April.Now it’s almost July. The date keeps changing from April to June , then July then August, now they tell us it’s September, maybe they’ll tell us a different date tomorrow. We understand it’s the pandemic but that’s not the reason you can lie to your customer!!! Show some respect! 2. The customer service is the worst ever too! We contacted them more than 7 times. Every time they said there will be a follow up email to let us know when is the delivery date which never happened. We also called the store they said the manager will call us next week to follow up which of course never happened. 3. They change the delivery date any time without any notice. We also bought other products in there . We waited for the delivery as showed in the email but they just didn’t show up without any notice. How “awesome” they are! They just treat their customers like nothing! 4. They play with their price! The sales person will constantly go check with their manager to lower the price every 2 minutes. Conclusion —— Ashley knows thousands of ways to upset their customers. Be aware! Stay away from Ashley and you live longer!

When I bought my furniture from this place 3 months ago, I was promise by the sales person that I was going to receive two gift cars for $100 dollars each. they lie to me.. the sales person name is RONETTA LOWEN ... they use promotions just to get people to buy but never do what they promise. or they are keeping the promotions to them self..

Shopping at Ashley furniture was great found the table and chairs we wanted.It’s a beautiful set. When we heard about delivery fee of $300 we stated we had a truck. Salesman stated “Do you want to drive all the way to Colton in 2 weeks?” So we paid the $300 Our salesman had trouble placing order and manager was clearly annoyed to help. This was in February 2022 it is June and we only received our chairs. Table came with only 2 legs. I am so disappointed in customer service and being informed on our furniture delay… never again.

Just be careful when they offer you a special. Is that it is exactly the same item there are offering. Example let's say the bed frame with drawers was at $200 on special. We say great we want it. When the truck driver go picks it up he says it has no drawers. Ashley solution was that I pay full price for their mistake. They didn't even try to work with me to make it right

FUTURE CUSTOMERS BEWARE! KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE BUYING! To any potential future customer! Please hear me out. I work in sales, and I pride myself on helping customers and clients in any way always even if it's going a few extra miles. I'm easy going, and understanding, but I take customer service extremely serious! With that being said my mom had asked me to join her on going to buy a new mattress and base for the new Queen size bed frame that's going into a guest room! We went in there bought the mattress and base, and the base was too small (width) and too tall for the frame! The base was $175 and we called saying there was a mistake that we would like to exchange! We fell within the 72 hours policy and they said "sorry we don't do returns for bedding". No one had slept on it and it was in bagging ready to get an exchange. They said because of our policy we can't do returns or exchanges on bedding... LIKE WHAT? There was a mistake and I'm within the 72 hour store warranty! i was later told at customer service that there was 2",5",9" bases and we got the tallest one. we just want to get the size right and we just couldn't get our money back. We asked what could we do with the base then? You know what they said.... "You can try and sell it" LIKE WHAT?! Seriously Absolutely Ridiculous. Even right now I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with this unused base when all I'm asking is an exchange. I took this whole experience as a middle finger and a "sorry not sorry". Not a happy customer, and I will always talk down on this location for how poor my customer experience was. You guys should train your salespeople to be more clear and guide customers through the process properly! Not everyone walks in knowing what they need. I Really feel let down. GIVE US A HASSLE FREE EXPERIENCE PLEASE!

We were looking for a good rocker recliner for when our baby arrives in June, and found the perfect one at Ashley's! It's a big purchase, so we did stop by a few other places to compare prices and quality, but Ashley's won out, and will definitely have our future business, as well! Everyone was extremely helpful, informative, and sweet... cannot wait for it to be delivered!

Do no come to this store they will lie to you and then send you broken furniture. It seems like whoever I talk to don’t care about you. One of my co worker who used to work for this company even explain to me on what to say and how to get help from them and they don’t seem to care this is the worst experience I have ever had .

They promise return calls, confirm delivery dates get your money then forget you even exist. If you’re put on hold you’ll stay there for an hour and a half and then a girl will come on and hang up on you repeatedly. When you finally do get a manager on the phone he says he will look into it and promises to call you back in an hour three days later you still can’t get to him they won’t let you even talk to him. Stay away from this place they will steal your money and forget you even exist if I could give a minus on this review I would.

My boyfriend and I just brought a brand new home together and we needed to furnish our entire house. We found ourselves having a lot of difficulties with everything getting delayed due to Covid and supply issues. This was never the case for Ashley’s! They had so many wonderful options of furniture to choose from that were IN STOCK, able to deliver within a relatively short amount of time, cost friendly (wonderful bundle sales). We ended up furnishing our entire living room, dining room, & kitchen space with Ashley’s and we (friends and family included) love everything! The Montclair branch were especially wonderful. Because of the wonderful selection of inventory that were IN STOCK, prices, and staff at the Montclair branch (Mary Anne, Giselle, and the Branch Manager), we will definitely be returning when we have to furnish the rest of our loft and backyard!

Worst customer service experience after buying thousands of dollar of furniture from Ashley recently. They invite you with promotional certificate flyer that I got in the mail and then once I got to the store they are like it's not valid on any items with any promotion. So basically they told me to use it on our ridiculously priced regular items which are marked up 3-4 times and think I am stupid enough to fall for that. So disappointed the sales rep was very rude, wasted my time and even asked for store manager. Shawn Singh, the store manager was even worse! He was of no help at all, provided very bad explanation regarding how to use the promotional certificate and was terrible at customer service. Stay away from this store unless you want to be ripped off with low quality high priced items and get bad service. :(((

I bought a TEMPUR-Ergo Smart Base. 12k bed with PREMIUM DELIVERY. Adjustable frame started giving us problem with in the first day. Called customer service and all they told is “that’s an issue we can’t fix. You need to call termpur pedic” They are so quick to take your money. But when you have an issue with something they sold you, it’s not their problem. 1st and last time I buy from Ashley’s. Be careful when they try to charge you with their “premium delivery” just know you’ll be the one fixing their mistakes.

I would like to beg anybody that is looking into getting furniture to shop at a different place other than Ashleys. It is not the way to go if you truly want to have a good experience when shopping for furniture. My experience with Ashleys as a business was horrible beyond belief and the customer service does not exist here. My full review is on yelp if anybody cares to read it.

It was my first time at Ashley today and I had a wonderful experience here. The staffs were all nice and friendly. Kassie was especially helpful with everything I need. The manager was nice as well. They tried their best to give me the best deals and that couldn’t make me happier. I believe this is a really good furniture store with lots of deals and varieties for everyone to check out!

My furniture came out scratched and ruined don't don't sign nothing until your positive that your furniture is safe and not ruined make sure you don't let them scratch you house either when they brought it they scratched my wood floors because I signed and now they don't want it take it back they don't want it take it back I wanted them to return it and gave me a right one but they don't want to take it they want to fix it and Patch It Up I didn't buy a second-hand Furniture I bought it at the furniture store and I don't have any results and getting it fixed so it's a bad review I'm giving them

Robert was amazing. From the start he asked what I wanted and helped me stick to my budget. I’m editing this review and taking it down to 1 star! This has nothing to do with the associate, rather the customer service and delivery of my furniture. Everything was promised to be delivered in April 18th. I made my purchase March 2nd and I’m sitting here May 8th and so far, I’ve had 3 rescheduled deliveries due to warehouse delays, or just simply no call no how at all. When I called to cancel, it was impossible to reach the store so I walked in and spoke to customer service on site. The lady assured me she would cancel the delivery and mail me a check to refund my money. A month goes by and no check comes, I call and managed to get thru and guess what? The IVR picked up my number saying I have a delivery scheduled! I once again spoke to an associate who spoke to James, the sales manager who promised final cancellation and a refund. Apparently, the day I walked in initially was a day there was a “glitch” in their system so they couldn’t really cancel it. No one bothered calling to tell me this either. How convenient. So now I’m sitting here with no furniture and no refund. I was able to find the exact furniture at living spaces and had it delivered 3 days after purchase. Don’t go to Ashley’s furniture. Don’t fall for the promised deliveries, it will get rescheduled, or just not show up when promised and they’ll have you waiting months for a refund. I wish I can give this place negative stars for this horrible experience. Go to living spaces, they have literally everything Ashley’s has in their showroom with an actual delivery.

Our experience working with Lenorard at the Montclair location was amazing! He was patient, we didn't feel rushed and he was highly experienced. He knew about all the pieces on the floor and made recommendations.

Super cool place to buy decent furniture and the service was top notch as well.

Horrible experience. All of the associates stand around and talk amongst themselves. I was in the store for over an hour and nobody approached me. I had to flag an associate down to ask a question. This associate was actually very nice. After spending a lot of money I wanted to return an item that did not fit my living space. I went back to return the item, only to be greeted by the associate standing at the entrance laughing at me. She laughs and the first thing she says is we dont do returns but you can try. I approach the customer service and of course offers me no solution. The manager comes and offers no solution at all. If I would have been informed that this item was a final sale I would not have purchased it. I guess that’s what I get for assuming. As I walk towards the exit, the manager does nothing at all, no eye contact, nothing. I literally had to walk right by him in order to leave the store and again no greeting or anything. I also was there to return other items that I felt I was tricked into buying. So I would definitely say my experience was horrible. I have a comparison to another Ashley location and the difference was night and day.

Our sales person Hope from the Montclair store was great to work with. After going to Mor, Livingspaces Mathis Brothers, Jeromes, and Bob's all in one day. She was the best to work with. She did not follow us around the whole time. She waited until we had questions for her unlike the stores mentioned above, At the end of the day we got what we wanted at the price we wanted and the value we wanted. Long day , but Hope made it worth it in the end.

Customer service aly and Luna are horrible. No one listens and they talk over you. General manager is unprofessional as well. Even if someone is wrong there, they all have each other’s back and make us the criminal. They rip you off, don’t wanna give you your money back even with proof from the bank. They look for any excuses and blame everything on corporate. Once again the general manager should be demoted because he does not have the attitude of a manager and Luna and aly should be fired.

Sal and David helped us out tremendously today! We came in not really expecting to buy anything (after 3 different stores) and ended up leaving with several nice pieces of furniture that we love! He answered all of our questions and we really enjoyed buying from him! Thank you again Sal! :)

It was a pleasure shopping at the Montclair store. They had just what I was looking for, and Sal was the perfect salesman.

I visit a lot of stores but not as well put together as the Ashley store. The sales person was ideal for me. we were able to find the couch I was looking for and the transaction took place. The whole process took about 20 minutes to complete and the scheduling for the delivery of the couch has been made. I would definitely use this Ashley store to make purchases in the future and recommend it to anybody looking for household merchandise.

Very nice place. My first time at Ashley Home Store; I bought a beautiful color and a good quality dresser and a night stand at Mounclair. The sale associate was very nice and very helpful with the furniture information, the delivery service was good too. The only thing wasn't that good is the costumer service young lady who processed the payment; with a weird attitude even didn't say a word. Not shouldn't be at customer service at all; other than that everything was perfect!!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. We bought 2 different sets (a bedroom set and a living room set) at 2 different times (4-5 months apart), and we had problems in both orders. In the first one, they sent defected items and we didn't accept them, then they came the next week, and delivered the exact same defected items, and we accepted them only because the customer service said a technician would come and inspect them, and they would replace it. I called them maybe 10 times maybe more in 2-3 months and fought back, and finally they replaced it. In the second instance, they AGAIN sent defected items, they sent 2 different technicians to inspect them, and both of them said they will replace them, but then when I called customer service to schedule the delivery, the customer service said over the lines of "no, our technicians said they are okay". I really suggest you to buy it from somewhere else. This is my first google review ever. I will also share the pictures.

I have no problem with Ashley store and their furniture. I’m giving 1 star for the delivery. The delivery guy were not careful during the delivery. They dragged the boxes causing a lot of scratches on my floor. I haven’t noticed it after the delivery so I signed their paper until my husband mopped the floor later that day and found the damages. Ashley store helped me with the process but the denied my claims since I signed those papers which states no damage. I followed up and told them I didn’t noticed it at that time and still denied my claim, so it was a bad delivery experience.

Dec 2021, I bought the a new tempurpedic adjustable (w/remote) king bed with cooling, they threw in a sectional living room set, dining room set and a few other extras for free, go see Rosanna in Montclair, the only issue is delivery set up time, but I can work with that. Hopefully all is good once received!

They will charge xtra charges with out notice. Just make sure to check receipts before u leave. I was told $80 for delivery i was charge $180 and I'm still missing pieces.

We purchased a bedroom set for my daughter and we also got a mattress once we got it, it was so thin I was told by the delivery guy that it will expand. Three days went by and it barely expanded it's so much thinner than it looked instore. So I called customer service and was on hold for 40 minutes and then they hang up on me. So I called the sales person that helped us and she told me due to Covid they have no refunds on items already delivered. So no return policy! They never said that when I purchased the bedroom set. Now I'm stuck with a mattress I'll never use. I will never purchase anything from Ashely furniture ever again. Worst experience ever don't shop there!

I found the Black Friday deal to good to pass up. In the store the price was a bit more but they went ahead and honored the online price with no problem. It was quick, easy and efficient.

In April of this year my wife purchased a dining room table, the cost being slightly over $800.00. Upon arriving home we began to remove it from the box. We immediately noticed that the item had previously been opened and saw that the table top was scratched. Being that the item was "new" we contacted the Montclair store where the purchase was made and spoke to the General Manager. Here is where the fun begins. To our surprise and a warning to anyone making a purchase apparently Ashley Furniture has a NO REFUND POLICY they first send out a technician to evaluate and repair the item. Can you believe that you buy a new product and it comes damaged and they repair it. Who wants to pay top dollar for second hand merchandise. So the tech arrives one month later and sees the scratch. He proceeds to bring out a matching crayon and fills the scratch. That was the extent of the repair and tells us this is only a temporary fix and proceeds to tell us the following; "Ashley store is the worst store to buy from. They do this all the time. I feel bad for you but that's all I can do." I called the store again and spoke to the General Manager again. I asked him how it was okay for them to sell second grade merchandise and then not honor an exchange. He said it is their store policy and there was nothing he could do and that the item was repaired. He was extremely friendly when he sold the item but was the rudest and unprofessional person when dealing with this problem. In short he brushed me off. After attempting several other resources and with no avail. I decided to assemble the table to use it for 4th of July. Upon attempting to assemble it I discovered that the one side of the table stand was stripped. Now it was evident that this item had been previously returned damaged and it was pawned off on me. So we call to report the damage and a second tech is sent. Unfortunately we missed the appointment and moved the table to another location where someone would be whenever they return. When we attempt to reschedule they inform us that they would not respond to a new address and that the table would have to be returned to the original address where it was seen. They schedule an appointment for the second week of November. When the Tech arrived he informed us that this was a 2 man job and he would not be able to address the problem. Mind you the item is out of the box and partially built. This Tech advised us that the item was damaged and it should be replaced. He also told us to speak to Management and tell them about the issue. He also proceeded to tell us to NEVER purchase from Ashley furniture again. That they have the worst policies and they will never return your money and will attempt to repair the items and avoid an exchange. He said you will be lucky to get store credit. The Tech said he would report that 2 Tech would be needed for the inspection of the item and that a new service call date would be issued. Today we got an email from Ashely advising us that the Tech reported the table was still in the box unopened. So they would not be taking any further action. We called and advised them that this was untrue that one Tech had already made one repair and this second Tech saw that table partially built. They proceeded to schedule a THIRD service call now for December 2nd. So we have a new table that we will probably not be able to use for none of the holidays this year. Hopefully this experience and the recommendations from their own employees will help ask the right questions if you are brave enough to purchase from Ashley Furniture. A multi million company that can not honor an $800.00 purchase. What's wrong with this picture.

**Update** Kassidee is still great, but I do not recommend buying from Ashley Furniture. We spent close to $3K on furniture that arrived and looked used from the moment the packaging was opened. We had nothing but issues in getting them to deal with the problems. They ended up essentially ghosting us and not living up to their end of the bargain even though we paid for the extra warranty. The couch was breaking down, arms were coming loose, cushions looked as though they had been sat in for years...the reality was we only had the couch for 5-6 weeks total. Will never step foot in there again. I had to do a chargeback in order for them to pick up a phone and even then they tried with the store credit option. Like I was dumb enough to buy from them again. Stay far away!! Went in to Ashley to check out new living room furniture. We were met by Kassidee. She was a great no pressure sales representative. She answered our questions quickly and efficiently. We had been to several other furniture stores and she was by far the best rep we had to deal with. Finally made a decision and she helped us through the process and saved us some good money on the deal.

Worst customer service ever after buying the furniture, fail to communicate , still working to get partial credit after one year, Do not recommend to buy furniture here

Went to Ashley's today, after going to three different furniture stores, to look at bedroom sets, living room sets and dining room tables. Sal Preciado ended up being our salesman. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and probably one of the best salesman I've encountered. To be a good salesman, means to me, is not being pushy or one that seems to look past you and to the next costumer, once he feels you're not interested. He stuck with us and waited for us to really pick out what we wanted. We ended up buying two bedroom sets, one living room set, a sofa bed, a dining room set and four barstools. Not only was he very helpful, somehow we saved over 60% off the total. I'm not sure how he managed that, but service like that will definitely keep us coming back to Ashley's for any other needs. Sal and Ashley's made us lifelong costumers, thank you!!! If you're going to go to Ashley's ask for Sal, I'm not sure if it works like that, but if it does..... you won't be disappointed. Also, I'm not saying the rest of their people aren't as good, we just had a really good experience with Sal.
